Hello and welcome to the preview of our fellowship podcast series. My name is Louise Lumsden and I'm Head of Fellowships Teaching here at Advanced HE. I'm really delighted to let you know on behalf of the fellowship team about a very exciting development, which is the launch and introduction of our fellowship podcast series.

but all relating to fellowship, of course. There will normally be around 15 minutes and maybe just us, the fellowship team, and that's Raj, Marita and myself, just simply talking about fellowship and the topic for the episode. From time to time, however, we may also be joined by others and for them to join in our fellowship conversation as well.
Categories and Content Focus

Across the series, we will have a dedicated episode about each of the four categories of fellowship,

And this will involve looking at who the category is for, what the requirements are, how to go about developing an application and actually what it means to those who have already been awarded. We'll be finding out and learning from those who have already been awarded about just what the impact of having a category of fellowship is having on their teaching and supporting learning practice.
Exploring the Professional Standards Framework 2023

Of course, and as you might imagine, and to be expected,

Our conversations will be meander into talking about the Professional Standards Framework, the PSF 2023. The PSF 2023 was launched at the end of January 2023 and builds on the strengths of the previous Professional Standards Framework. It brings with it emphasis on the effectiveness and impact of teaching and supporting learning.
Insights and Tips from the Fellowship Team

The context where teaching and supporting learning takes place the support for learners and collaboration with a new professional value. Given this, I have no doubt that our conversations will include talking about an odd dimension or two and possibly a few top tips and observations from the fellowship team as well.

Across the episodes, there will be something to suit everyone and all contexts for all those who are as passionate about fellowship as we are.
