Speaker
Hello and welcome back to another episode of The Bee Talk with Rhiannon and Jeremy. Hi guys and welcome back.

Impact of Weight on Sperm Health

00:00:33
Speaker
I was actually I heard this information the other day I haven't looked up the study so I'm just going to tell you anyway and let's just take it with a grain of salt but the numbers but did you know that as a ah male because we're talking about sperm health here if you are five kilos overweight if you have five kilos of extra weight that you don't need like adipose tissue or fat essentially just five kilos can affect sperm health by 10 so you can have less
00:01:03
Speaker
10% of healthy sperm it can affect the way they swim, can affect the living essentially. And that all comes down to the scrotal temperature. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, that is crazy. Which brings us into today's topic, which is all about sperm health.

Sperm Production and Lifestyle Effects

00:01:20
Speaker
Lucky we've got germ here because only one of us is producing sperm right now.
00:01:26
Speaker
i'm not pretty yeah but yeah Isn't that pretty amazing though? Like right now your body is just doing its thing, producing those little swimmers. Cool. That's pretty amazing. By the time we finish our podcast, there'll be thousands more. how good I know. And two weeks ago, it really matters about how these spermis health is now. Right. Which is pretty amazing. but It's obviously longer than that. I think they say, God, really putting myself on the spot. I can't, 74 days, I think.
00:01:55
Speaker
is normal time for them to essentially develop from start to finish or be where we want them to from start to finish and be ready to get there, get into the egg and start producing life. But yeah, essentially that 74 day period, but even two weeks ago is important and will affect the spermis.

Understanding EDCs and Reproductive Health

00:02:15
Speaker
okay So we were going to talk a little bit more about chemicals, endocrine disrupting chemicals or EDCs if you will today which we have actually started to look I feel like it's forever a battle of convenience opposed to healthy options. I feel like you can either go one way really well or you go too much the other way. And I feel like with anything in your life, Sam, is with taking your supplements or going to the gym or working out or whatever, personally, we go in waves, right? So we always have a pretty good under
00:02:53
Speaker
tone of low-tox but I have noticed that the chemicals have been creeping back in our life a little bit and I was thinking about it around probably the last two years maybe four years maybe since Evie was a baby and we started to get some more of the plastic things in the house because they're good for kids yeah it's annoying because before that we were using just glass you know my Pyrex round containers and like all the lids are gone or chunky We've bought a new one since then, but then it was like, oh, we can't feed Evie in the glass because she'll just smash it like kids do. So it was like, oh let's get these. So there's all the cutest little Peter Rabbit bowls that we got for Christmas and they're made out of plastic. Yes, BPA free, but BPA is not the only chemical out there. So many others. So I just feel since we've had kids that they've slowly crept back in different ways.

Rising Male Infertility and EDCs

00:03:40
Speaker
Also the bloody toys, so many toys just made out of plastic. And they suck on their little throw around. It's like on one hand you don't want to like not allow them. If somebody like my sister say has given them a present or your sister's given them a present, you don't want to then be like no you can't have that because it's plastic. Yeah that's why it's low tops. Yeah that's why it's low tops.
00:04:04
Speaker
good point. But these chemicals, they affect us in so many different ways, but obviously affecting our endocrine system, which in turn can affect our reproductive health and sperm health. Is it a coincidence? No, they've done lots of studies on it, but it is insane how much it can affect sperm health. So specifically talking on the sperm health side of things today. We've obviously already spoken about the impact that these endocrine disrupting chemicals have on women's hormones and fertility. So now let's dive a little bit more into the impact of men. Take it from me. Yeah. Yeah. Rising infertility and pregnancy is not just a women's problem. It's so true. A male factor is estimated to be present in about 50% of infertility cases.

Environmental Impact on Sperm Counts

00:04:49
Speaker
Which is huge. So 50% of infertility is shown through studies now that
00:04:54
Speaker
It's 50% of males problem. but You think that, unfortunately, if you experience a miscarriage straight away, that was always put back on the woman and that's her body, but it come from sperm health. So it's more, and it's not just about the conception, which I always talk about. It's also the health of your baby ongoing. So it's important for men to play a role, but there's more than a hundred thousand chemicals on the market. And from the 1,480 plus, 1,480 plus known,
00:05:24
Speaker
endocrine disruptors, almost 1500. There's a negative association between exposure and male fertility, which sucks in that sperm health. A study conducted in 2017 highlighted the significant ongoing decline in sperm counts from a Western society from 1973 to 2011 by 52.4%. Isn't that crazy?
00:05:50
Speaker
The study outlines that sperm count may sensitively reflect the impacts of the modern environment on male health throughout the life course. Crazy. That study definitely says that there there's plenty of studies out there, but that one specifically, like a decline from 1973 to 2011, over 50% in that time. So 1973 men were 50% more. so yeah They say, yeah, they say that with those numbers by, I think it's 2045 or 2050, something around that, they, like if things kept going the way that they are in male health is declining and sperm health declining, that we would become extinct because it would just go to nothing. Yeah. Because we're already over 50% goal. Right. Yeah.
00:06:37
Speaker
So yeah, definitely not just a woman's problem.

Reducing EDC Exposure at Home

00:06:40
Speaker
One reason why we try and educate men and we've tried to do the male health bundle on our website. We've tried to do the virtual men's preconception consultations. They don't even have to chat to anyone. We have lots of lovely men though that do actually have consultations with us. It's so funny. Like sometimes they'll be calling up or emailing like, I don't know, do you guys see anyone other than women? Am I in the right place? Yeah. Am I in the right place? So funny.
00:07:05
Speaker
But yes, absolutely we do. We obviously just talk a lot about women because that is what has happened over the generations. And we're just trying to continue to bring that education around men um small. We have to do it in a specific way for these men, don't we?
00:07:21
Speaker
yeah Let's get into the types of endocrine disruptors and chemicals. Yeah, tell us. That have been found to have negative associated to male fertility include big one. Everyone knows about a BPA in plastics. Pesticides and organo chemicals. Dioxins. Yep, phthalates and solvents as well. These are big ones. So these EDCs have been shown to decrease semen quality, cause erectile dysfunction, decrease libido, unfortunately contributing to fetal loss, chromosomal abnormalities as well. And that can obviously affect the loss as well in those oocytes and also recurrent miscarriages. It's really sad that they've been linked to that.
00:08:14
Speaker
and that we do somewhat have a little bit of control. Sometimes when, especially when I started looking into these things and when I hear new information, it becomes super overwhelming of, oh my God, there's chemicals everywhere. Like even down to the clothes you wear, like the leggings, the women's leggings have plastic in them. Remember when there was that massive hype around the gym wear?
00:08:38
Speaker
and the Pilates, what do you call them? The plastic tights. Yeah, plastic tights. And everyone was wearing like, I wore them every day and everyone would go to like, branching them. And it became a thing where it's not just wearing to the gym, but wear it all the time. yeah Whereas now for us, I've gone back to cotton, Australian cotton and like linens. Obviously sometimes there'll still be some clothes if you're wearing a dress out and it's from, I don't know, whatever. I wore a sequins one to someone's hands. There's gonna be times like that, but that's one night I'm not wearing those things every single day.
00:09:07
Speaker
But even those are just starting to contribute to affecting us, which sucks. So here are a few different ways you and your family can control EDCs in the home. Bug spray, there's some alternative ones out there. Avoiding bug spray cans. I've got the bug assault. yes Tell them about the bug. It's just salt and you just shoot the flies on the skaters. So it's a gun. It's a massive fake gun, a plastic gun.
00:09:36
Speaker
and then you put salt in it and then it actually shoots. You gotta be careful, they're hidden from the kid. But yeah it shoots and then it kills the bug with the soul yeah um shotgun but yeah salt. like salt spray shotgun. It's a toy thing. yeah it Fun way to kill your mozzies because Jeremy hates mozzies. Yeah, they just bug me on the spray. Yeah, I know I hate the spray. I remember he used to spray. I don't know. God, he used to spray in the house even when Evie was little and I'm like stop spraying and I'd make us go upstairs and open the windows.
00:10:05
Speaker
And you would just spray it around, close the door because you don't want any more bugs in. I'm like, bro. Turbine control, lawn and garden treatments, animal flea and tick control. You've got to be careful of those. Also, the some other areas of the ECDs is canned food and processed foods, food packaging, plastic utensils and cups. That's why they've brought out those wooden ones in takeaway and the bloody paper straw, so annoying, I prefer no straw. Anyway, because it ends up just mushing up by the end of the drink. Baby bottles, water bottles, personal care products, toys, as we were chatting about, and thermal receipts, that's a big one. That's so hard because you often need a receipt, especially if you've got to go back for something or, but I don't know, maybe you just bought it for someone else? like Put it in the bag, just don't touch it. ages
00:11:01
Speaker
And the kids love the receipts. I hate when they get the receipts. Also, Flame Retardance is a big one, so different types of textiles, like rugs and kids' pyjamas is a big one. I always wash the kids' jammies before I put them on them for the first time. But I know heaps.
00:11:17
Speaker
yeah I do that

Safer Daily Alternatives

00:11:19
Speaker
with most clothes, but I know most people don't. So wash everything before, not even just around chemicals, but I remember hearing this disgusting story. I think it was on the radio and it was like people going into, I think it was Kmart or Target or whatever, some clothing stores trying things on and then not buying them. And like one woman was like, yeah, my friend had a skin rash and another one had diarrhea and she ended up putting it back on the shelf. And I was like, that is so disgusting.
00:11:46
Speaker
So if you haven't washed it in it, I know, gross, maybe you've put on, it's not only the chemicals, it's also someone else's gut microbiome. Different types of foam, furnitures, electronics, waterproofing materials and carpets as well. So it sounds like everything's out to get us. But the impact is the most important thing to know here and how it's impacting you. So there's a multitude of ways environmental toxins can cause damage and contribute to male fertility or infertility.
00:12:15
Speaker
endocrine disruption and hormonal disturbances, developmental neurotoxicity, immune dysregulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, can increase inflammation in the body, can alter gut health and gut microbiome, inhibit detoxification pathways, can deplete our glutathione, which is a really potent antioxidant, important for cellular health and fertility. We really want to keep all of that that we can and increase production of reactive oxidative species or ROS, which may damage DNA. So I guess a little bit of a highlight here is that oxidative damage to sperm DNA may be commonly underlying the atology of infertility. So pre and post implantation losses and can also affect or cause increased aging or accelerated aging. Other impacts? um mount uity You go. all right
00:13:15
Speaker
This episode is all about highlighting the importance of the effect of EDC. I have on male fertility to note there are a range of contributing factors that have been found to affect DNA and fragmentation, yeah including weight, testicular heat, yes age, poor diet, smoking, substance abuse, air pollution, caffeine, alcohol use, stress and trauma, mobile phone use and Wi-Fi.
00:13:39
Speaker
Yeah, it sounds and I know it can be so overwhelming that everything is out to get you at this point because you start looking around and you're like, oh my God, even down to teabags had plastic in them. Some of the brands still do. Then you heat it up and you tea and you're like, I'm going to have a herbal tea. I'm going to be healthy. And you're drinking plastic, right? Crazy. It's insane. Anyway, a lot of companies are becoming a lot more mindful around it because they have to, because it's becoming a worldwide issue. Yes. But there's a lot you can do in your house to implement a bit of a personal protection plan, if you will. So some beautiful ways that you can support yourself. And we're just touching on some. There's a lot more different areas that you can, but a great thing for you to make a note of is visiting local farmer's markets or getting organic or even spray-free options when you're buying your food. Wash all your fruits and vegetables in natural veggie cleaner. You can use the Koala Eco fruit and veggie cleaner. That's great.
00:14:36
Speaker
Alternatively, you can use bicarb soda and apple cider vinegar, which is a great cheap option for you. Fill up your sink, chuck your veggies in and let them soak for a bit and then wash them off. I feel like we, look, I try and get organic where we can, but I can't always do that because the price is absolutely ridiculous. I know you can't put a price on your health, but sometimes it'll be $12 for ah avocado and the other ones are three. It's okay.
00:15:05
Speaker
Let's go for like reduced sprays and then make sure we're washing our fruits and veggies really well because sometimes it's not achievable. But we eat good quality foods and meats as well. Meats is a big one that lots of people overlook. They're like, look, I bought this. I got three kilos. It was three dollars a kilo. It was so cheap. Yeah. Because that's the crappest meat like those poor animals. of Yeah. Not being super healthy. Anyways, definitely We know it's not always achievable to do certain things, but just where you can and whatever's in your control. So getting the fruits and vegetables that are not as heavily sprayed. So following the clean 15 and the dirty dozen, you can just Google it. We recommend it to all of our clients to have a look.
00:15:43
Speaker
And that is the clean 15 and the dirty dozen. So the most dirty or heavily sprayed or pesticides and the ones that are that are better. So make sure you're sticking with those. And swap out plastic containers, the glass or stainless steel options. Yes, which we have done again when those plastics that I was just talking about has creeped back in. We have now got rid of it. And also chopping boards. Chopping boards is a big one. Everyone gets the plastic ones because they're easy to clean but reverting back to the old timber.
00:16:13
Speaker
Yeah, so we, again, Evie got a little plastic one, I think for, it was for Christmas or something, was it a knife? It had the little knife. Anyway, each time you're cutting little bits of plastic in your food.
00:16:25
Speaker
without seeing it you are. So yeah, definitely swapping those out. I've just refreshed again with a whole new board, they're on the way. And yeah, we've got all our glass containers again. I'm making sure you're not heating up in any of the plastic as well. It's terrible when we're heating in plastic. Even the coffee cups, which Sandy was saying, she put up a little story or she recorded it. I don't know if I posted it yet, but it's like of the coffee cups with the plastic lids. So Whenever you're having a takeaway coffee, you can still have your takeaway coffee. But when you're drinking it, take the lid off. Try and stop and do it. Don't do it in the car. But take the lid off because it's hot and plastic. Plastic on the lid and you're drinking it. Through plastic, yeah. It's... The world's out to get us, it feels. It's what plastic wrappings like glad wrap to containers instead, which I'm definitely trying to do. I do love a bit of glad wrap. So easy.
00:17:18
Speaker
And with the kids, all you have to do is just, they've eaten half and you could just, but it's a user container. I also got one of those little avocados, things that hold it in place. Anyway, you do your best, right? You do your absolute best.
00:17:32
Speaker
source good quality seafood and avoid eating fish in high mercury or PCBs like shark or swordfish. So they're heavy metals, right? Yeah, you'd be careful. They're still good, but you can't avoid them. We can avoid them, sorry. We can. Try minimise. Small, yeah, smaller fish. The smaller fish are better because they're closer to the surface. Yeah, and you want good quality seafood as well. I think good quality is the most important there. Swap your takeaway coffee cup for a reusable Pago or Yeti are really good brands that you can use. Yeah, we have a couple of Yeti bottles and cups and things. They are really good and the, what's it called? The Eskis are so good. They keep everything cold for so long.
00:18:15
Speaker
yeah Yeah, amazing. So yeah, there's lots of options out there, even like the glass ones as well. Remember that one I got? Yoo-goo. Yeah, it was. I got it in a Christmas pamper like when I worked at a health food store so many years ago. It must be 10 years old or something. Anyway, and it was a reusable one. I think it's Keep Cup, the brand. I think it's Keep Cup. Anyway, I've still got it. It's at the warehouse I've just kept. I haven't got the cup. It didn't lid anymore, but I've just got the cup.
00:18:42
Speaker
Anyway, something like that is really good. It's like a glass option. Shout out to Mugu, no use. You can make the switch to natural personal care products, soap, hand-washed deodorant, moisturizers, and sunscreen. Yes, which we have been doing for the whole time. I think there was one time that the Dove or something creeped. What was it? It was a brand of something. No, it was that koi brand. Creeps back into the house and that was a one and done sort of situation. I think that's in the the spare bathroom. and goose stuff Yeah, back and away on way on Moogoo because that it's beautiful for all of us for the body wash, but also love the whatnot range. We use that a fair bit. We use their sunscreen. Actually, I've got a code for them as well. We can save some dollars for whatnot. 15% off. Use code mungbeanhealth. M-U-N-G-B-E-A-N-H-E-A-L-T-H. which other a good swa They're the best. user labor detergent
00:19:36
Speaker
Absolutely, which I've actually, I'm just trying a new one. So we use Koala a lot, the Koala Eco, which is great, but I'm just trying a new one. It hasn't arrived yet, the Eco store. And I was just hearing, we've used some of their stuff before, but not their washing powder. I like the washing powder. I don't like the washing liquid. I feel like the washing powder works better. Yeah.
00:19:55
Speaker
I don't know, I like the washi powder. And yeah, EcoStir and I was seeing people were like, oh yeah, I've used this for 20, 25 years. And they loved it for the whole time. So I'm like, okay, cool. Good switch out.

Natural Products and Practices

00:20:06
Speaker
Yeah. I just ordered some online, but I'm, I think you can get that from, I don't know, definitely health food stores, but I don't know of course all these, they haven't some sort of eco. And the other big one too is the dish washing capsules. Trying a new brand of that. So we tried a brand before,
00:20:23
Speaker
and it just didn't wash the so we're trying a new one which is actually the eco store that's why i've bought this one cool because i went on and i actually saw that first the dish washing tablets i was on a hunt to find some it's like you you take all these things away and then you're just washing your clothes and putting kebbs back on your skin yeah and then you're drinking it from your cups that you've put in the dish wash and another big one is not only body care but also makeup so if you've followed for a while on instagram you know that i I'm absolutely obsessed with lust minerals. They are amazing. It's like real makeup, like chemical filled makeup in the way that it stays on your face all day, covers up. A lot of the natural ones, they don't. They just, by the end of the day, half your makeup's off your face and they don't last and the color's never right. That's personally my opinion. Whereas lust, it feels like you're using a real makeup that's going to last all day, but you don't get any of those chemicals and crap in there.
00:21:18
Speaker
They do skincare. Jeremy loves their vitamin C serum. Yeah, I absolutely love it. It's so good. It's thin. I've got oily skin. So it just feels like when I use an oil cream, I break out sometimes with but this. Yeah. No breakouts. No breakouts. Beautiful, soft skin. And yeah, and they've got the whole range now. The mascara they do, it's not tubing, but it's like the tubing one. I don't know if you've ever used the tubing one, but it's amazing and it doesn't like...
00:21:46
Speaker
come off anywhere. It doesn't leave black marks on you. Yeah. And they do everything powders and primers and they do a natural fake tan now. It's amazing. They're all really good products. I have a code for them as well. 15% off. Code is mungbean15. M-U-N-G-B-E-A-N 15. Definitely recommend the cleanser's fabulous and the cleanser you can actually use as a baby's bubble bath. oh wow you can just chuck some of that in there as well which is great because all natural don't have to and she's also just started doing i saw her doing for any of the dance mums because all the makeups that they're putting on their beautiful young girls faces and they do all the makeup with the lipstick and all that because it's part of that dance bump thing she's created a package which i was like that's so good for the kids oh nice which Evie always wants my makeup on her as well she's like more makeup and put it on me so i feel good that i don't have to give her
00:22:39
Speaker
chemicals and crap because her beautiful little body is just growing. We don't want to be filling it with all these chemicals. Another big one is avoiding microwaving in plastic, which was what I was saying. So don't heat up your foods in plastic. Pour it into another bowl. Or glass. Yeah, or glass. So the glass containers are great because you can just chuck them in, chuck them out. Don't fill it all the way to the top so it's touching the plastic lid because they're always like plastic lids. Just leave it a little bit under and take the lid off when you're heating it up as well. In ventilation.
00:23:09
Speaker
In the room? Yeah, for the next one, yeah, opening up windows and ventilating your house and getting that new fresh air

Maintaining a Low-Tox Lifestyle

00:23:16
Speaker
in. Yes, especially when bringing new furniture home, rugs or carpets, you want to make sure that you've got all that ventilation happening. But yeah, it's good to have fresh air in anyway, blinds up, windows open, and just get that fresh air in. There's some beautiful air purifiers and that I've looked at, but yeah, one day. Yeah. We'll get the fresh air from outside now. Yep. We're lucky we don't live in the city.
00:23:38
Speaker
if You lived in the city and then you had all those chemicals and rubbish and everything. We're surrounded by heaps of trees, which Jeremy finds annoying sometimes with the mess. Yeah, the leaves, that's right. Good for nature. We want the fresh air. What else? Oh yeah, the receipts as well, which we mentioned. So just avoid touching those receipts. Ask for an electronic version or just pop it straight in the bag, as Jeremy said. Yeah. And all of this will be supportive of your sperm health and your fertility journey. I think another one we didn't really cover was um deodorant. It's a huge one. yeah deodorant People should be wearing it. Like there is natural alternatives. Yeah, absolutely. And not spraying perfume directly on your skin if you do decide to wear a cologne or a perfume, putting it on your clothes. So I don't use perfume anymore. All of the ones that I had just I haven't used in years now.
00:24:32
Speaker
And the worst part about it, I guess the turning point for me was finding out that the fertility clinics don't allow you to wear perfume in their clinic. So especially when we're doing things like IVF or egg collection or embryo transfer, they don't, and the people that work there can't wear it either. So to me, it's why. Yeah, it's toxic. It wasn't bad. Why? It's a lot of chemicals. Yep. And also second to that is we're also spraying it directly on our thyroid every day.
00:25:01
Speaker
That's not good because that's chemicals. Yeah, it smells nice, but you can smell nice in other ways. If you really want to, you can use essential oils. I do love a bit of patchouli, whereas geranium is nice as well. But whatever you like, lavender or whatever, or you don't have to use any. I just use deodorant. The wild refill sticks are great. They're easy. You can keep them in your bag and they can get unscented as well. The black chicken.
00:25:25
Speaker
little tub, black exilia or whatever it's called. And it's like a little tub and you just put it out with your hand and use that under your arms. It's great. And that works well. I've got heaps of people onto that one as well. And you sort of have to find what's right for you. For me, I've got sensitive underarms. So there's heaps that I can't use.
00:25:42
Speaker
because unfortunately they just, yeah, give me like that rash, which I found a lot of natural ones can do that, which is, I think it's the bicarb that's in it. But the wild ones being great, the black chicken, auxiliary I've used for ages um as well. And there's, oh, the lust minerals one, they do one as well. They have a lemony scent one, which is nice. I think they're the main ones. There's options out there. There's natural alternatives.
00:26:10
Speaker
Absolutely. And when you think about it, you're putting those chemicals directly under your arms, onto your lymph, yeah, what do they call it, lymph glands? And yeah, it's no good, especially when they travel all the way down to the boobs. and Yeah. So what I would love for you to do is now go home and have a look in the house and just see some areas that you can easily identify some change. So whether that's opening up the plastic Tupperware container, chucking away all the plastic and going to Kmart and getting some glass ones. Like Pyrex is a great brand, but I know that they're a bit more of an outlay, but Kmart, we got some Kmart ones, which are great. Also Seed and Sprout have them as well. and if You can get sets from there, which is great.
00:26:53
Speaker
Honestly, even the Kmart one, especially if you're on a budget. I even thought too, there's a big one too with the home sense, like candles. Oh yes. And toilet sprays and then house perfumes that a lot of people use because they've got pets or whatever reason. They are probably pretty bad too. They are so bad. We used to use the diffusers with the sticks, the reeds one. Yeah. They smell so good. I can't remember what brand it was, but it was like how severe something was. Definitely just chemicals. Yeah.

It's also not good for the pets either. Yeah, really toxic to pets. Even some essential oils that we put in the diffusor lucky Charlie's downstairs and outside. Sometimes we put the eucalyptus and the tea tree into the diffusor when we're a bit sick, just to bring up some of that phlegm. But they can be really toxic to your dog as well. Absolutely. yeah So just be mindful and careful.

of them. Everyone in the family, including your furry ones. So yeah, have a look and see some areas. Also pots and pans. Look, there's so many different areas, but. Pots and pans is a good one. The stuff that you cook on every night. I know. These are things that you use daily deodorant, laundry detergent, dish washing soap, makeup. yeah These are all daily activities that just put your, that is huge exposure over your lifetime. So making better alternatives. Getting back to the pots and pans. Stainless steel. Stainless steel cast iron. yeah There's some nice ceramic coating ones now that are healthy ones. Actually, we're in need of some new ones. I'm going to just keep my eyes peeled of what... We had these NeoFlem ones for ages. Remember, that was so good. and We used them for years. and then

We've got a stainless steel and then a cast iron. yeah They're all sort of old and falling apart though. yeah They still work for now. The cast iron ones, they do increase iron high level levels because everything that you use breaks down and you ingest it. So it just shows you using cast iron. It can help with your iron levels as well. Which is amazing. So good for the kids as well. yeah So I just want to get a little pan and a large pan, and then I really want to get one of those Dutch ovens. So it's the pot. So you know how I've got that long big one that I got from, I just got it from Aldi, this one. It's so cute. You know that white one? Yeah. Jeremy's here, nice, like he doesn't know. I know. And then there's the Dutch oven one, which is little pots, you can get sauces and pasta or whatever, not that we eat that much pasta, but

you could do put a whole chicken in there cook up the chuck you could do a think of it like the crock pot but just as a pot right okay to cook in yeah yeah we do love the crock pot we get around that a lot i've still got my nan's one from a slow cooker yeah isn't crock pot same i think so i know it is a slow cooker yeah slow cooker anyway it's so old it must be 30 40 years old anyway she's still going strong yeah And I just feel when anyone puts their flavor or anyone cooks something, they put their own flavor into it. It's all about our microbiome. And I always feel like mine ends in there a little bit. She was such a good cook. So I feel like she makes me a better cook. Anyway. Anyway, that is all. So go home, have a look around, see some areas you can identify. Definitely go check out Lust, Minerals, whatnot.

Even if you're stuck of where to go and what to change, have a look and say, healthy pots and pans, do a Google search. And I'll share with you guys when we get our new, whatever we're going to get. I just don't know. There's a couple of good brands, so I don't know. I don't want too many. They can get out of hand. I just want three, really. Yeah. And just chuck away the old ones. Making your life simpler and easier too. Having a lot of stuff makes it just difficult. I know. It does. Yeah. There's too many options. Too many options. And if you have, say, two chopping boards, one for meat, one for vegetables, it makes you wash it up and reuse it. Yeah, I know. Instead of just having the whole cupboard for you and pull that out. Yeah, I forgot a big one. I got a small one. Yeah, I really go through and just chuck out stuff that is no good. I know. I need to go through our draw the containers one again. But I think we've got some of your mums and some of whatever. I don't want to chuck any of those away. Yeah, anyway.
