So it was overcast and a little humid there, but it was still like 70, muggy and then on the last day we were there it was like 80 a little maybe yeah somewhere 80 85 but um still overcast in the morning but kind of sticky weird nothing like you know the the real humidity but we got golfed with somebody from louisiana and he's like oh yeah this is this is not you know this is a mild at least but um Yeah, he's not going back to Louisiana, he said, ever again. He's he's happy there being in Southern California. But man, it was a different a different vibe than L.A. So I guess you just got to keep going a little south and and it gets cool.

Oh, okay. So it's, it's still pretty far down there. Yeah. I mean, it took us we drove, and think it's like an eight, eight or nine hour drive. Um, we, we made everything long though with our, our, our golfing trips and the, and the, and the stops that I had to make. But, um, yeah, it was great, dude. Just the, the time hanging out, the resort was really cool. Um, had this like infinity and infinity and infinity pool, hot tub overlooking the two courses that were there.

Um, It was really small for a resort. I think like if my wife and I went, it would have been like perfect um to just do like adult nothing type things and chill. So for me, I would have been golfing and then just hanging out in the pool and doing nothing.

I've never in my life have woke up and been like, Oh my God, my hips are, you know um,

but then we ended up playing, uh, some, some random, uh, like Muni course in Carlsbad. And it turned out to be the most amazing course. I don't, I don't think I even showed you pictures or I might've, uh, videos, but, um, I'm not a big fan of, of, of like courses in the mountains that ah have a lot of hills and undulations. Like you can't hit the ball on anything that's flat, but this thing had the the back nine of this course had, ah like four holes where you were teeing off from like 200 feet above where the fairway was.

And it was a twilight round. So we were getting the sunset in the back. We actually finished the the round in the dark. But man, there was some amazing views, amazing views. And he actually got to golf that course for free because um the the place he works owns a bunch of golf properties. And because he's an employee, he got his round comped.

So that was like a super plus for me. Did you know that going in? didn't. I knew that was a possibility, but I didn't know this course was that it was completely random. When I went to go book the tee time, they were like, Oh, this is a JC resort. And I was like, Oh dude, you, you gotta try to talk to these people. Um, and apparently gotta go some through some process where like the head pros got to call this head pro and like schedule it.

And, um, Yeah, hes he really took a ah liking to the all the C&Cs and all the the machining stuff that was going on. So I thought that was pretty cool.

Because I'm still his dad, but I wanted to more so just kind of celebrate his accomplishments and his birthday. So yeah, that was the focal point. So was kind of stoked that he- So does he have plan?
