Speaker: Hey guys, and welcome to this episode of the Super Sombre Salombia Society. I have called a couple people to come and listen and interview with me to our grand total of four listeners. Hi mom, dad, grandma, and Fido. I appreciate you guys listening.
Speaker: Uh, let me introduce our guests here. Uh, Roshka. Hi, that's me! That's me! I'm here! Uh, Fosk. Hello, that would be me. And, uh, Tiller. Why, hello.
Speaker: I appreciate you guys, you know, spending your time to come and interview with me on my show. I know it's not big and you guys are pretty popular. So, you know, glad to have you guys here. It's my pleasure. Likewise. Thank you for inviting us.
Speaker: So I guess I'll start with Roshka. What are some of your hobbies? Oh, I like cooking. I like reading. I really like reading. I'm learning a lot. I like being with my new friends.
Speaker: I like writing piggyback on the flask when he allows it. He doesn't always allow it, but he's really fun when he does. I also like cooking. What kind of things do you cook? Rats, mostly. I don't cook with everything, but I can only really cook rats.
Speaker: Okay, Fosk, what are some of your hobbies? Sometimes I enjoy a little bit of writing, so I'm not really serious about it ever. Mostly I tend to just hang around, maybe buy a new dress or something else that's really cute. I don't really get up too much.
Speaker: I don't either. I sit at home and wallow in self -pity and cry myself to sleep. So what about you, Tiller? I generally enjoy scavenging for plants and making potions every now and then. I haven't really found the time to do it lately.
Speaker: Potions. Is there a potion that can cleanse my ever -ending loneliness? Honestly, several depending on how permanent you want the solution. Oh, forget I asked. What's your favorite meal, Tiller? I would say probably the
Speaker: climbing into a tree and picking up a fresh piece of fruit and just creating a whole basket of them and trying to get into a big meal. All right, what about you, Fosk? Well, this here is this delectable little dish that came around before the sun did its thing, so it's more popular on the surface now because
Speaker: Uh, mushrooms grow there more readily, but, uh, it's a mushroom stick. It's served very frequently in, uh, trial circles. Yeah. I hate mushrooms. They make me feel weird. My throat gets itchy and scratchy and it just doesn't taste very good. But hey, you guys are, you know, that's what you do.
Speaker: Uh, how about you, Roshka? And I'm assuming rats on the menu? Oh, no, no, no. I like every time my Nana used to make food, it was always so good. Until she died.
Speaker: I ate this fruit one time. It was really really good. It was so big. It was like the size of my head and it was pink and it was so juicy. I don't know if it had a bunch of green speckles all over it. That fruit was so good. I'm gonna go back and get another one.
Speaker: Oh, I don't like fruit either. My throat gets really tight and I can't breathe and I look at it sometimes and get really nauseous. I had that with my fruit. I started seeing things and I got teleported. Oh. Oh, OK. How have you enjoyed your adventure so far, Fosk?
Speaker: Well, it's been alright, it's had its ups and its downs, but I mostly enjoy the company I can't place off in. Oh, good company. Roshka, how about you? I'm having so much fun!
Speaker: These people, Fosk, Tiller and D 'Alon, they're so funny. I don't know. They're not like any goblins I met before. They're like different. It's so fun. I really like this. What about you, Tiller? Have you been enjoying it? It's been an interesting change of pace.
Speaker: ever since the world has changed. I guess this is, I guess you'd say, something I look forward to. Alright, and what motivates you, Tiller, since you look forward to things? I don't, but you may. It honestly, I think the thing that motivates me most is that if
Speaker: I don't do anything. Be good or bad will happen anyway, so I might as well do it. Very good point. I don't do anything and the good and bad happens anyway, so you're right on the dot there. Fosk, what about you? What motivates you? Well, you'll see. Long time ago, as far as I can remember.
Speaker: I woke up in Sareldia and I didn't really know what I was doing or where I was but I managed to make a good friend in a butcher named Zira and she saw something in me that I didn't and I want to do my best to just help others as a way of repaying her in a way.
Speaker: Oh, how sweet. Friendship. What about you, Raska? What motivates you? I'm going to become the best cook ever. I have liked this thing. I'm going to learn a thousand billion recipes. And when I get back home, my daddy's going to be so proud. And I'm going to be just like my Nana.
Speaker: Ah, big dreams, small guy. You know, I had dreams once. I don't anymore. But what's your favorite color, Tiller? I would say... I'm trying to think of...
Speaker: I would say some type of green, but probably a lighter shade of green. Ah. Roshka, what about you? What's your favorite color? I like that one. I also like this one. Oh. Yeah. Would you be here to point that out for our audience?
Speaker: Oh, can you describe it? My mother and father are both blind. Oh, moving on. Fosk, what is your favorite color? I find blues to be just in life.
Speaker: One of my favorites happens to be a little closer to the green spectrum. Gently desaturated. But very potent. Well, what is your least favorite thing about adventuring thus far? Well... My friends here, I was a butcher, but...
Speaker: When I started working with her I started to get unsettled by trapping the meat and we've slain a couple things already and I finished to keep my calm about it but I can't stop thinking about it sometimes. I don't like that part much at all.
Speaker: Oh, I think about it all the time. I openly welcome the sweet embrace of death, but I digress. Roshka, what is your least favorite thing? I'm kind of scared. I've been scared a couple of times, and I do want to go home, but I really don't think I should go home. I want to be out here, but at the same time, I want to go home.
Speaker: Ah, homesick. I am as well. I get it. I do. What about you, Tiller? What is your least favorite thing about adventuring? The lack of, I would say, time. We go from mission to mission, but it rarely feels like we have the chance to read and do the things that we usually love to do.
Speaker: Before I started adventuring, I used to make potions and gather herbs every single day. And you don't have any downtime to do any of that? Not as much as you would need to do it consistently. I'm lower on supplies than I've been ever since I first started.
Speaker: Ah, I see. While I do enjoy the company of my party and I'm not saying it like that, I just, you just never been, I guess, so crowded. Ah. One seeks to loneliness, I see. I wouldn't say seek it, but I guess I've not really known
Speaker: uh, companionship for that long. Hmm. What's your biggest fear? Uh, kind of living it in a place I don't know with people I don't know in a, in a world that's kind of passed by way further than I expected. Hmm. What about you, Roshika? What's your biggest fear?
Speaker: I don't want to disappoint my family. Ah. And Fosk, what about you? What is your biggest fear? Oh well, I was thrust into this situation very suddenly, as everyone else was, of course. I'm just terrified I'll do something I can't fix.
Speaker: Because up until now, you know, we've managed to get into situations and out of situations, and I don't know the path forward from here, so I really just am terrified that maybe we'll leave the world off worse than if we hadn't tried at all. Interesting.
Speaker: Hey Mr. Interviewer, I'm also afraid of the matter. Yes, I think they're called these big spiders. They're also kind of scary. Oh, I have no idea what those are. They're like big spiders. I am also not quite a fan of spiders. When they touch me, they make my skin all itchy and gross.
Speaker: I just really don't enjoy them all that much. These spiders are big enough to eat goblins. Oh, I definitely don't like those. I can only imagine what they do to my skin. Yeah, yeah, they live on our home tree, like the tree back home. It's a big tree. I don't really like trees all that much.
Speaker: One time I got hit by an apple and that was not very fun. Um, but let me open the floor for, for open discussion. Um, who, who is the favorite party member? Okay. Who is your favorite?
Speaker: Do you like you, Roshka? Well, I do in fact quite like everyone as well. Um, if I had to pick a favorite though, I apologize to you all, but uh, but Roshka is
Speaker: I'm quite an entertaining way to spend my day. Can we get like a cat? A cat? Aww, a cat would be delightful. Yeah, they hunt rats. They do hunt rats. What do you think here? Should we get a cat? I don't like cats very much. Do they make your skin itch? No.
Speaker: They make they make my nose really runny and I get all clogged up everywhere It's just not great dogs do the same thing. I'm just really I'm really not a fan Maybe just that you just haven't met the right cat yet. Oh That's it. You may be right actually You know, maybe I haven't met the right cat yet
Speaker: I don't want to get a dog, because I feel like a dog could eat me. A cat is too small. Oh, uh, yeah, maybe so. They're quite small dogs, though. Well, maybe if it's like a big dog, I could ride it like a horse. Oh, um, why wouldn't you just ride a horse then? Hmm.
Speaker: I don't know if Roshka would be able to stay in the saddle that well. Can we get a horse? I think horses might be quite expensive, but I'm sure if we save up we could. I have this many shelves! Is it enough? I don't think so quite yet. It's like five! Did you actually count Roshka? Yeah, I can count! Oh, okay.
Speaker: I don't think five shelves is quite enough for a horse. Was there more to that sentence? I'm very confused. Without further ado,
Speaker: Do you have any closing statements that any of you would like to make? Well, even though what we're doing is dangerous, please don't fear for us to badly. We'll get out of there. It was a pleasure being with the
Speaker: Thank you for having us. You're very welcome. My dad once told me, I'm gonna say it here. Remember to drink water. Remember to take a walk at least once a day around camp. Avoid the goblin eating spiders. That's also a good one.
Speaker: Anything from you, Tiller?
Speaker: Oh no, I think Tilley was gotten by one of the spider goblin eating them. A man of few words. I get it. I really do. Ah. Without further ado, I will conclude this little section. Oh, snap, that's a muted style. Tilley, no. Oh no. The spiders brought him back. Oh, wow. Oh, joy.
Speaker: So I would say that my party said it better than I could have myself. All right, out of character, was I not speaking this entire time? No, not at all. You were not. I was speaking this entire time, so I just wasn't replying to interview questions. No, no, it was just towards the very end. Yeah. Okay, good. Oh, I was scared.
Speaker: Yeah, I was tearing up in discussion. Um, I was wondering why I kept getting like interrupted like, all right. Yeah, I guess. I thank you for having us over. Thank you. Something's after the interview. I don't remember your name.
