Podcast Introduction & Humor

Hi, guys. Welcome back to Wild and Basic. That was a weird intro. Okay. I just wanted to make it interesting, but it didn't turn out to be interesting. Maybe I'm just trying so hard to be Emma Chamberlain that it's clearly, clearly, clearly not working. Hi. I love you, Emma. Bye.
00:01:24
Speaker
Like she's gonna listen to this podcast. Okay, I'm being so weird right now anyways guys Right now like this is like the I feel like latest I have recorded my podcast mainly because like there's a couple things we're going on today So let's get into it. Hence like it was you know, I came late to the office.

Postmates Delivery Saga

00:01:46
Speaker
because first thing first so this is not a promo because it's like not sponsored but i just want to say because it was so cute because you can also order it as well so i think there was supposed to be this like postmate special postmates delivery for this show by from peacock it's like a network television
00:01:53
Speaker
Oh
00:02:05
Speaker
And it was like, you know, all themed because the name of the show is called Saved by the Bell. It's like a reboot, I think. It used to be an old show. So they were going to send me this, like, you know, lunch thing so I can post about it. So I kept waiting like at 11 a.m. because they were like, yeah, it's coming at 11.
00:02:20
Speaker
So, and I was supposed to go to the office like in the morning, so I'm just like, okay, that's fine. I guess I have to be here. So I keep waiting and it's like almost 11 45 and I'm hungry. Like I'm really hungry. So I'm just like, wow, fine. Maybe they're not coming or like, you know, sometimes shit happens, you know, like also like honestly, I have to be honest. Postmates don't hate me. Also, like don't hate me actually. Like I'm being honest. Like I love the company Postmates, but, but.
00:02:49
Speaker
Postmates in New York City like not to trash on New York City but like I have had so many bad experiences from Postmates like so many times uh like when I ordered something through Postmates literally I think in the middle of my order or like in the middle of the way when my
00:03:07
Speaker
delivery person was coming, she just disappeared, or he disappeared, then they never showed up and I couldn't even get my order. And like, the refund process through Postmates is so complicated. I have to say though, Postmates in California, especially in LA, I don't know so much about other cities,
00:03:26
Speaker
Very, very different story. It's not the same. So, I mean, in New York City, it was like, I didn't trust. So I was like, oh my God, maybe they just took it. They didn't bring it. Whatever. Because it was saying that it's going to be VIP Postmates career, which I don't know what that means, but it's cool. Or like, they are specific people.
00:03:41
Speaker
so I was like okay I'm so hungry and I also told my boyfriend I was like okay let's not like let's not order lunch or don't eat lunch because like you know we're gonna get lunch through this company so I was like okay so I keep waiting and now coming so I'm just like okay fuck it like I'm gonna order food so I order food from Panera and I'm literally on my way to Panera I go in picking up my food literally I just get a call from my postmates saying that I
00:04:09
Speaker
oh hi i'm here i'm delivering your saved by the bell you know order i'm like okay fine you can leave it as a doorman so now i have like two lunch i mean thank god like saved by the bell actually lunch wasn't like huge it's like kind of like for one person because he had like a
00:04:28
Speaker
I mean, it was so cute. I have to say definitely check my stories. I will also post on my TikTok. Actually, I haven't posted yet. I will probably post it. It is super, super cute. It's very cool themed. It has like bunch of males inside. I mean, that's just me. I was like, I mean, just saying it's a cute stuff. They have bandana and shit. It's the meal includes, I think, fries.
00:04:48
Speaker
and cookie from milk bar that's expensive shit and also you know burger it was so good the fries were so so good i have to say so anyways this wasn't a promo i swear guys uh they're not paying me for this but i'm just saying like it was cool so anyways that was the dilemma so i was waiting for that so i'm like damn it so i have to
00:05:08
Speaker
And it took so long that I had to eat because I was so hungry because I also... Imagine how fat ass I am that I ate all my Panera that I bought. I mean, half of it was for my boyfriend, so he's... I saved that for him. But I ate my share, and I also ate some of the... most of the fries. So it's like, okay, I ate all of it. Okay, on the top of that, because I had a meeting around like 1.30,
00:05:37
Speaker
Then I also had to pick up my prescription It has been so difficult like so weird to just like pick up a prescription these days because like I used to live in like 58th Street area and like my prescription was in that location 57th Street So I was trying to pick up somewhere here. It is so calm. It got so complicated to just transfer I was so annoyed. Anyway, so I was just like, okay I have to pick that up on the way to my office then I can you know I
00:06:03
Speaker
go to the well, tune into the meeting as soon as I get to the office because like I told like in the meeting, I was like, I'm running late. I will be there like by 1 45 or something so I can join to the zoom meeting. So anyways, I did. I didn't make it, guys. That's it.
00:06:18
Speaker
Okay, that was it today. Thanks for tuning in. That was the episode. Okay, I'm kidding. I'm seriously kidding. Okay, yeah, so that's what's going on with me today. But today's episode is not anything about this. Today's episode is actually about holidays.
00:06:38
Speaker
I initially wanted to make an episode about like being thankful or just like Thanksgiving. You know like people generally talk about like how grateful for the things they have accomplished this year, how grateful for all the things that happened this year, but I really have to be honest
00:06:57
Speaker
Like this year hasn't been one of those years that like, I am gonna be like, I am so grateful. I, I, the things that I am grateful, like I am grateful for certain things, but I just have to be like, this year is not, is not it. Like I'm not gonna say, thank God, I'm so thankful for 2020. Cause I'm not, I don't think anyone was ever gonna say that. Because I remember this is so funny because like,
00:07:24
Speaker
I'm not promoting anything. But like, I remember when I wanted to make like a merch for, like something for my merch, like for the holidays. And I was just thinking like, oh, maybe I should make a design with like 2020 in it. Like it's just like, oh, it's a 2020 for me. And my sister was like, come on, people hate 2020. Even if they buy it, they're probably gonna burn that shit afterwards.
00:07:49
Speaker
Which is so true. I mean come on like I feel like once we pass this time and pass this year pass this pandemic Like I never ever want to remember this and I just can't believe that like I'm gonna be like I don't like I don't want to remember When I was 25
00:08:09
Speaker
which is so weird because like this is something i have heard guys i don't know if it is a myth or it's a fact but apparently at the age of 25 there's always something so big so extreme happens that like you have like this realization
00:08:25
Speaker
I don't know like I mean I'm not an expert I'm just saying that like that's what I have heard so apparently I even heard this like pretty basic with Alicia and Rami when they were talking about it so I was just like kind of makes because I was like that was me before turning 20 I'm just like I don't know I don't know but then I'm just like oh 2020 but then I'm just like I mean 2020 is for everyone so can I count that year as like my 25 I don't know

Holidays and Family Gatherings

humans.
00:10:00
Speaker
So I think holidays are like super, super special time of the year because, you know, you get to meet your family, you get to give them gifts or like, you know, you get to turkey together. I don't know. Like, I mean, I'm not so into Turkey, so that's not my thing. And honestly, I feel like Turkey Day or Thanksgiving is like the least important holiday to me because I don't really care so much about it. I always have seen Turkey Day or Thanksgiving Day as like a break from school because that's what's been for me most of the time.
00:10:28
Speaker
But this year is like, you know, no school for me. I graduated finally. Yay. But that's not the point. So I'm trying to say it hasn't been like special holiday for me. But like because Christmas and also, you know, New Year's coming. So that's kind of like really, really scaring me.
00:10:44
Speaker
And I have been also looking up too and seeing it online too, because I'm like, is it just me getting these feelings? Because apparently a lot of people go through stuff like this, especially before the holidays or during the holidays. Or some people actually, not even just related to holidays, they go through this seasonal depression.
00:11:02
Speaker
especially like this is like end of fall like late like fall then it goes towards like a beginning of spring because like you know the weather gets so cold and you know days like get so much shorter you know daylight not enough daylight then it gets so dark so fast you know it does really affect your mood a lot because not enough sunshine you know no vitamin D so it is very
00:11:25
Speaker
you know, it kind of gets depressing. I mean, it does sound depressing. I sorry, guys, I'm not trying to make it depressing, but it's just that's what it feels like, honestly. So on top of that, I feel like because generally, when the year comes to an end, not even just with the holidays, but generally, because the year is coming to an end, you start to think that like, what have I accomplished this year? Or what have I done this year? And you also sometimes start to compare yourself
00:11:52
Speaker
from like this year to last year to see like what is like happening where was I last year this time like you know it's so different so I don't know then it puts you in this like a weird place that like you know maybe you haven't accomplished as much you wanted this year versus last year how much you have done
00:12:12
Speaker
So especially I feel like this year doesn't matter how much you have accomplished, how much you have done, because it still has been the worst. I mean, let's just have to be honest, this still has been like the worst year for everyone, pretty much. Literally, it has literally turned everyone's world upside down. So I feel like no one ever wants to talk about this year, like 2020. So let's hope for the God.

2021 Hopes and Reflections

00:12:40
Speaker
I'm not even trying to make just like about God it's like let's hope that like 2021 is going to be like a new fresh start for all of us all of us we need hope that like vaccines is gonna help us because like I mean I have been also reading about the vaccine but like let's not even get our hopes up that fast because like there's also a bunch of other things too
00:12:59
Speaker
they were saying about a vaccine that like, you know, even if you get the vaccine, that still means that you can still get it again. So it's not like fully proved. So I'm just saying like, I feel like sometimes people get super, super excited when there is like something good is happening, which I really, really want to support and say like, Oh my God, yes, guys, this is happening.
00:13:16
Speaker
but then we jumped into conclusion so fast because like it's not really ready, it's not there yet and even like I'm not a doctor or anything but even my sister was saying is like just because vaccine is proven or anything like that this still has to be like tested so many times to make sure that like it is actually effective because it can be like 99 whatever 95 percent like you know it fixes but that doesn't mean that like it just keeps it away from getting you the
00:13:42
Speaker
you know that virus again so it's it is very hard to tell so well we just have to look for the future and see what it holds but let's back into holidays so because of the holidays i feel like we tend to think that like wow let's see what we have accomplished what we have done this year kind of like you're trying to be like oh last year i was doing this or last year i was doing that so it is kind of like very very weird you know just to
00:14:09
Speaker
thinking about because I remember from my personal story, it kind of makes me sad and kind of makes me, I don't know, want to miss 2019. I have to be honest. I don't want to be so nostalgic, but I feel like as a human being, we tend to get so nostalgic and so thinking about last year.
00:14:31
Speaker
Like last year, this time, actually I was like, I think doing a road trip is my dad. I think I had mentioned this like almost so many times, almost every episode. But like, I think in after that, like that time, I think I was about to pick up my seat.
00:14:47
Speaker
sister from the airport because she was coming to see me at this time of the year so it was pretty fun and I also remembered that that was actually the you know what's the funniest part this is like all I keep remembering I don't even know if my boyfriend remembers this or he actually puts in there this was actually how I this was the like the first communication that I had I have had was my boyfriend this time like we literally met like in November and
00:15:16
Speaker
And that's like we were kept touching, like talking to each other and stuff. I remember because this time of the year, we were like, we were, we were still talking like we were in the very beginning of our relationship. And I think he was like going to like, I don't know, DC or Baltimore to visit his, his friends. And that's like, we were keep talking to each other and sending pictures and stuff. I remember that.
00:15:40
Speaker
so it's like so crazy i'm just looking back like that year versus now i mean now like i live with him and everything which is like i i just never expected that like this whole year was gonna come up to so i i have to be honest like i am very grateful for all the things that this year kind of you know cherished it because i have to be i have to say because maybe this this might be true for all things
00:16:09
Speaker
maybe this COVID, you know, quarantine might have, you know, really, really affected my business and affected probably most of people's businesses, you know, really, really drastically. But I think it did really help me in terms of relationships and in terms of, especially my relationship. And I can say this for most of the relationships too, because I have been even like seeing on YouTubers too.
00:16:35
Speaker
most of the relationship when they were they were probably like dating before covid then it got like escalated and it became so it became kind of serious because of the quarantine and stuff because you know you end up quarantining with them together then you get to know them more and you kind of like become more attached and like your relation goes into the next level because when you think about it
00:16:58
Speaker
I mean this topic is not relationship, but like I just want to say like how the COVID this affected the relationship is like because like, you know, you're quarantining with each other and you get to know more about each other versus like if you weren't, then you would be maybe seeing each other once a week and stuff that doesn't really move the relationship as fast, unlike just quarantining together. So that was different for me versus last year. I was just talking to him. I was by myself, single ish, because it was just the beginning of the relationship. So I didn't know where it was going.
00:17:28
Speaker
it is so so crazy but other thing that is affecting me i'm just gonna say it here so if you guys know you guys will go watch it but i'm not promoting this video i'm not putting it out there but it has been so i think uh this was my first time recording myself crying uh in front of the camera
00:17:54
Speaker
even me just seeing it I feel so so embarrassed but I feel like sometimes like we have to kind of do that because I feel like I have always been just recording myself smiling looking always perfect looking I mean I'm not perfect but I like I'm just saying like trying to look my best but then I realized like sometimes it's so tiring and I do want to show that like sometimes some days I am not okay and I think I posted them my
00:18:23
Speaker
Vlog channel, you can go watch it if you want. Like I didn't even put it anywhere on social media, I just posted there. Because I just wanted to put it out here just to say it like maybe one day I can look back and say that like oh well I was going through some shit I'm so glad like I put it out there because it really shows that I am brave enough to that.
00:18:42
Speaker
But anyways when I was posting in that video and I was crying actually in that video it was just showing like the how overwhelmed I was about this whole year and the holidays and everything not being able to see my sister and everything because I I saw my I see my dad every week because like we live in the same state so I'm so so grateful for that

COVID-19 Impact on Holidays

00:19:02
Speaker
actually
00:19:02
Speaker
because i honestly can't picture that like if i was living in a different state if i wasn't able to see my dad either this could have really really affected me so badly because i think doesn't matter sometimes you know we might not have a so so strong relationship as our family but
00:19:23
Speaker
especially during holidays, I feel like holidays is all about family and community and having the sense of like being belong somewhere and that is so so important so you know not being able to see your family it does really affect you it does take a toll on you
00:19:40
Speaker
And that's what I was like actually seeing in that video that like it's just like it's definitely like I am so grateful for having my dad at least but like also not seeing my sister because I literally haven't seen my sister for entire year because last time I saw her literally was last year. So I mean it's just so crazy because of COVID and everything she lives like in Midwest so it's so far and so hard to just like you know travel and everything that I have to quarantine like it's it just hasn't been the easiest thing.

00:20:58
Speaker
because holidays is all about like connecting with your family and stuff. So it is pretty crazy to just think that like, you know, you're not going to have that this year, even like because I remember last year during Thanksgiving, I also went to upstate to visit my older sister was my dad. So that was like another thing. So it was kind of cool.
00:21:22
Speaker
Like this year is like none of this is happening. It's just like none of the things that you used to do is happening like during the holidays. So it's just kind of like maybe it will be through Zoom that possibly you might do or you're just gonna like send them a text saying that happy Thanksgiving. I mean, which is like, yeah, that's something but it just like imagine what this whole pandemic has done to us. Like we are just,
00:21:49
Speaker
sending a text to each other and saying that like oh we are you know this is what we are doing like saying huh like I don't know it just I feel like it just kind of makes me so sad that like wow like it's I mean I'm just so grateful that all of us are safe and all but like it's just really really does affect me mentally that like just thinking that like how and I'm sure like this like I'm not just me there's so many people who can't go home
00:22:15
Speaker
or who can't, you know, visit their family and stuff. So it does really affect. And especially this time of the year, you know, you really don't want to spend the holidays by yourself. Like I remember even for us, like this time, like my boyfriend's actually friend was supposed to come. Was it us? And we were going to spend Thanksgiving together, but turned out like she wasn't actually not feeling well. So she might possibly have COVID. We don't know why she was getting tested. So that's why she's staying.
00:22:44
Speaker
Back at home, but I'm just saying like you know sometimes you know you were looking forward to something, and it's just not happening I feel like those were the times like holidays like you know when you're so
00:22:56
Speaker
focused on your work and you're always working, working holidays or like these breaks like that just kind of like helps you to just reset and come back and work but I feel like now we're just not going to have those because like you're just going to be at home and like even though you might not be working but it's not going to feel like you're putting the reset it's just going to feel like you're just
00:23:16
Speaker
there you know because sometimes you can say so much but like changing the place really does affect your mood and seeing other people really does affect your mood a lot even like seeing some cousins that you don't like or seeing some pupils that you don't like sometimes it does help you just like you know get you out of the rut and you know
00:23:39
Speaker
feel like normal again because I feel like nothing about this year has been normal and that's the same thing with the holidays like this year is just not going to feel normal at all you just have to you know hope that like next year is going to be better
00:23:54
Speaker
I don't even want to mention so much about the Christmas and stuff because like I honestly don't know because I remember last year during I like I first of all I did like Vlogmas which was amazing because I did so much shopping and everything it was so so fun I remember that but like now this has been just so
00:24:13
Speaker
I mean, so, so weird here. I don't think any of this is going to happen. Most department stores are closing and not to mention. And I also don't want to make this topic about like makes this episode about like complaining shit. But like, you know, most their second wave is coming while starting also the most places, most cities, most states are closing down. You know, lockdown is happening.
00:24:36
Speaker
and supposedly lockdown might happen again in New York City as well, which means, you know, restaurants might close, it will be your only takeout, and also that means my only place that I have my sanity, gyms might also close as well, so there goes that.
00:24:55
Speaker
I mean I'm just really really trying to keep my hopes up that like I don't have to I mean I don't have to do home workouts I have to say like home workouts hasn't been my thing but anyways so I'm just saying like lockdowns are coming guys so that's another thing I don't know how this whole holiday is going to be during lockdown so then it's like you know you're not gonna be doing much
00:25:15
Speaker
No, going to like Rockefeller, like I never been to going to Rockefeller Center, but I'm just saying like, no one is going to be Rockefeller Center in a crowd like, you know, watching the tree delay. Like, I just feel like none of these are going to be the same, like nothing is going to be the same for sure, but.
00:25:31
Speaker
Again, I'm just really not trying to be bad mouth, but I feel like this whole thing has been taking so much toll on like so many places, especially New York City. Although I have been and I always complain so much about New York City, but it does really sometimes actually break my heart to see the city that has been
00:25:53
Speaker
So alive that has been always like had so much life in it Like it was always like there was something always going on. There was always something happening during the holidays I remember during the holidays. I would always like have so much shit going on I mean right now I still have stuff going on but I would say nothing compared to what would happen in a real life because I would always have like a
00:26:14
Speaker
holiday lunches or like I would have like I have to go to somewhere like for holiday thing like there would just be so much holiday related stuff would be happening it's just like it like right now like it doesn't feel like that generally this time of the year New York City literally just automatically always feels like you know it's a Christmas wonderland it's just it's not there like then there's no it doesn't have like that spirit then you just don't feel that
00:26:40
Speaker
it just makes me so sad because that's what like Christmas was for me because I remember before I moved to New York City when I was I think in DC like I was like you know kept thinking like oh my god you know getting Starbucks you know getting Starbucks holiday drink and like walking around
00:27:00
Speaker
New York City you know like in the streets like it's like the so fun for me and like I was just thinking like seeing all the lights and everything if you go like way way back on my Instagram you will see like how obsessed I was and like I would post those like blurry pictures but yeah it would just really fill my heart like I would feel so happy to see all this Christmas lights and everything and let everyone happy
00:27:23
Speaker
i don't know like it was just all about like the christmas mood and spirit the holiday mood i just feel like none of it is there right now just because like first of all not a lot of people are in the city this city is so empty right now over 15 000 empty apartments not to mention but just to say also like there are no tourists so it is pretty sad to see it honestly just because i have been seeing so much before but this year i don't see any of that but i'm hopeful that it will get better but i just want to say you guys like
00:27:52
Speaker
Also don't save your trip that like, you know, nothing is happening in New York City. Nothing is happening anywhere right now, pretty much. So definitely stay home. I know it sucks nowadays that like not being able to do much, not being able to see anything, not being able to travel, please. Like, trust me, I know.
00:28:10
Speaker
like even like I was just checking uh with my girlfriend just to see maybe we can drive somewhere then we were just trying to see then like first of all most of places are booked and some of them are even closed then you might also have to quarantine so it's like there's just so much regulation now then you have to kind of like you're like oh yeah I'm stuck in one place but you just have to make the best of it
00:28:31
Speaker
try your best to, you know, do what you can for your mental health. Maybe when you're at home, watch a movie that, you know, that will help you. Either it's a funny movie like comedy, or it's something that like lighthearted, like it's not super deep that like it will affect you because I feel like this is at least for me, I would say it's like when something is like super, super depressing or anything that just tends to make me also affect my mood and I also try to think more. I feel like something

almost so meaningless or like light-hearted or something comedic like that would really help me my mood at least and other thing is like also like facetiming with your family, facetiming with your friends it really helps so much you guys have no idea
00:29:13
Speaker
It really does help and doing and last thing I would say this is something that like I have been doing a lot even if just like few people Joining I have been doing lives like on my tick-tock It really helps so much just like seeing other people talking to them while seeing like talking to them Honestly, it just really helps so much just so you know, see what whereas everyone is doing how they're doing so you should definitely Try these so like it really does help during this time of the year
00:29:41
Speaker
And also you should check out some of the movies actually on like Netflix. They're so good. I think you should check out Definitely Holiday. It's pretty funny. I really like Emma Roberts, so I think it's definitely gonna be a good one. I'm trying to force my boyfriend so we can watch it together because like he's like not having it, but maybe I can force him to watch it.
00:30:02
Speaker
but we'll see. And actually, I'm also watching Too Hot to Handle. This is like no holiday related or anything like that. I know this is so random, but I'm just saying if you want to watch something that's like not super deep, like something like kind of funny, something kind of like, it's not gonna like, like it's not gonna make you feel anything, but it's gonna be like, okay, cool. I watched it. It's kind of like one of those things. I would totally watch it. Like it's it's kind of like nice show. So definitely recommend that. And there's like so much drama in it.
00:30:32
Speaker
So it will definitely keep you busy and it will help you not to think about your problems. So you can, you know, give yourself a little bit of break because there's so much drama in that show. There's Francesca Ferraga and also Harry Chowsey, I think he's Australian. So there's like so much going on between them.
00:30:53
Speaker
And there's almost so much tea on that, on I think Call Her Daddy and also Too Tired to Be Crazy podcast. So you can all listen to that. I'm just saying there's so much to catch up on that episode. So thank you later. So we're going to get into fan mail section today.
00:31:13
Speaker
So the first question says, do people watch? If so, where do you do that? This is very interesting, actually. I generally do, but generally it's like when I'm like on the street, like I'm walking around, I tend to just watch people.
00:31:29
Speaker
But other thing I used to do a lot, this is like way before pandemic, I would go on the coffee shop and do my work. And some generally, especially I would always try to find it like in the window area so I could see the street and just like watch people. Sometimes like it's so calming, I have to say, just to watch people in their own environment, doing their own thing. It is pretty, pretty calming, I have to say.
00:31:58
Speaker
okay this is a pretty good one too what is something that you thought you have already done by now but haven't so this is actually a very good one i really thought like i would have like traveled abroad like a lot like i just really thought i would have done that like i just haven't like i really haven't been abroad
00:32:17
Speaker
So that is something that I just thought like, you know, now that like I'm passing the age of 25 was like, and everything is just, I just thought like, I would have at least visited one country like being there or anything like that. I just haven't. Honestly, I mean, it's because I feel like I have been so busy with like education and everything. Life just trying to get my shit together. It hasn't been like the, you know,
00:32:41
Speaker
easy thing like easy paths just be like because I mean one thing to say is like also not to like make it about money but like going abroad and everything it's like you know you have to save a lot of money and other thing I always always think about too is that like I always get so scared like so scared like going to a new country because I'm like new you know like maybe they talk in a different way different accent or like if it is only even if it is like English speaking country sometimes the accent is a little different and
00:33:08
Speaker
they are, you know, money's different, you know, currency and everything. But if you're like, you don't know shit, you're spending too much money, what if someone's taking advantage of you? I was thinking about this, you know, like there are some stories like people have like, got robbed and shit. Like there's something I have always heard. This is the one reason is like, I'm like, I don't think I will visit, I will ever visit Brazil. Although I have so many followers actually from Brazil, not to say like, I love you guys.
00:33:32
Speaker
But apparently like in Rio because it's like tourist place people get robbed all the time So I'm just like so scared. I'm just like what if like that happens to me one day like when I travel So that's something is like always have been like back in my head. I'm like, I don't know. I'm so scared So that's why I have never done it, but I just thought like at this age I could have done it by now
00:33:56
Speaker
Do you have a dream job in mind? What would it be? This is so interesting. I think I have mentioned this like in one of the episodes was one of my guests. I think Lara, we're talking about this. I think I would say being an actor. I think when I was very, very little, so interesting. I was like, I think maybe five, four years old. I really, really wanted to be an actor. I always wanted to be on TV. I always wanted to be like on the
00:34:23
Speaker
not like TV TVs, more like, you know, I always wanted to be like famous for something, I guess. I remember my mom, like she's a she she was a theater director. She was like, you will never ever be an actor. You're terrible. Like you just like you you're like not good at it. Like you just don't have the talent. It was like, OK, cool, whatever.
00:34:47
Speaker
so anyways but that's i mean i'm not hard by anything like that i don't care whatever but like yeah uh that was my dream actually like i i and it's still back in my head some days like i just like maybe that wouldn't work but i mean let's see you never know right you never know in life so
00:35:04
Speaker
maybe this is the last one it says do you have a favorite brand so this really depends honestly like in terms of like skincare or in terms of fashion like i'll just give you guys like um what is it like categories and in each category i will give you guys like my favorite brand that i really really like so i will start with this is like a very random start but i will start with that because i recently posted about them
00:35:31
Speaker
In terms of protein like bars or whatever protein powder whatever you're getting for gym or for you know bulking I would say I have been really really obsessed with ghost ghost lifestyle. That's what's called actually
00:35:46
Speaker
They are like so unique company, like their branding and everything is just so cool. I have never ever seen any company doing that for, you know, their company, like as like a protein company that makes protein, like just sometimes I feel like they make packaging and everything so boring. It's just never that cute, interesting, like, or has a personality.
00:36:08
Speaker
that's the only company that I have seen like that like they have a personality it's like a nutrition company but like they are so they are so live so cute so like colorful like they have very cool personality and they have collaborations I love that company so in terms of that that in terms of
00:36:26
Speaker
coffee, like drinking stuff. I would say Starbucks has always been my favorite, like I really love Starbucks, so I mean that's just pretty basic, so I will skip that. And in terms of fashion though, so this really changes, and also I feel like this year I really haven't been shopping, literally I haven't been shopping, and also mostly like this year I really haven't had the need to shop so much, honestly I have to be very honest,
00:36:52
Speaker
And I also love, love my like stuff that I'm getting for merch. So like pretty comfortable. But my favorite place that I generally shop for stuff, like I really like Farfetch, like for luxury stuff, like it's pretty cool. But more and more, I'm actually trying to thrift shop like there's so much cool stuff actually on Depop.com, like Depop. I mean, I'm not gonna say Depop.com because I don't use that. It's in the app.
00:37:19
Speaker
So Depop actually has very cool stuff. Like it's all drift drift and stuff. First of all, it's very environmental friendly because like, you know, you're not throwing away burning the clothes. It's very cool. And also you find really, really cool pieces. I have to say sometimes you find like so cool stuff. And like you're like, I love this fit and everything. So it looks pretty cute. So I have to say thrifting is pretty cool. You just have to like see where you're looking at. Don't go to like goodwill and stuff because trust me, you're not going to find anything that cute.
00:37:49
Speaker
I mean on Depop, prices can be sometimes super super crazy. It really depends on the seller. But there's some like really cute stuff there. So I would definitely ask you guys to check that out. Okay guys, so that was the episode for today. I just want to a little bit of touch base on the holidays because it's coming up and just want to put it out here.
00:38:08
Speaker
how i'm feeling and also i'm pretty sure i'm not just the only one a lot of people are feeling this way so i just want to tell you guys that you are not alone it is okay it is okay to be not feeling your hundredth self not feeling like things are doing so you're doing well or things are going well especially this time during the holidays it is okay it's totally fine so don't
