For those of you that are new to the podcast, I am an ordained and certified spiritual healer, earth steward, and minister. I completed a ah three-year intensive study on the wounding patterns of the chakras. And during that time, I also cleared out a lot of stored energy and trauma imprints from my body and my energetic body.

And I really dove into a deep spiritual practice during that time, something I had never done before in my life and had a very profound spiritual awakening.
Life Transformation: From Real Estate to Farming

And at this time in my life, I am living on 10-acre farm in Hawaii on the Big Island. And it is a life that I never truly thought that I would live before.

Prior to, i was ah real estate agent and we had a very successful business on another island, Oahu.

And during that time, i ended up becoming so unregulated and so stressed that And my body so full of pain that I was unable to continue in that lifestyle, even though from the outside it looked like I had everything.

The car, the business, the beach house, the dog, all the things that society tells you that will make you happy. But I was far from it.

For those of you who have been listening to the podcast, you know that one of the things that I've been doing on the farm is i have been trying one new thing a week that is just a simple, fun thing. And so this week, I actually made flower essences and it was super simple I went out and i have lots of flowers. This winter has been so interesting here.

We have barely had any rain and usually this is the rainy season. So we just have, it's like all of the the plants and the flowers are like, oh, is it already spring? Because like it is um very warm and sunny every day.

actually having to water things. I don't normally have to, but I found that my jasmine roots was already blooming and so I took a few jasmine flowers and you just place it in filtered water and put it out in the sun for six to eight hours and the essences from the flowers go into the water and then you can take that water and just put it in a little spray bottle and refrigerate it and it's good for up to a week Now you have ways that you can preserve the flower essences, I believe with witch hazel or alcohol like vodka, and um it will last a little bit longer.

and these flower essences are actually, they well first of all, they smell amazing, but some of them you can ingest and some of them you can just use to use as a ritual or something like that. So was very interesting that I...

actually chose this flower because the jasmine essence it actually i'm looking it up real quick it is it stimulates the goddess or god spark that resides within the heart chakra and it is for living in the now and it will help unload the burdens of the past leaving them behind And then there's also a little like an affirmation that you can say if you use this.

And it's, I release memories of past experiences with love and gratitude, clearing the path ahead of me. i live totally in the now.

And I find this so interesting, not a coincidence, because I don't believe anything is really just a coincidence. I think it's so amazing that um I found this because what I'm going to dive into with this episode today is about our pain body and having physical pain in our body during our healing journey.
Connection Between Physical Pain and Emotional Healing

And for those of you who know me, two years and two months ago, I had an explant surgery. So I removed my breast implants.

And I'm still at this point, occasionally having some issues with my left breast, you know, right over my heart.

where the scar tissue clut like clumps together and in basically like um causes my my shoulder and my neck to go, i guess you would say, like go out because it goes into a spasm.

And so... This is where I'm going today. During a healing journey, so many times we talk about the emotional aspects of healing and removing the trauma imprints and, you know, doing the inner work to really find out why we're continuously getting triggered in certain situations.

And the very interesting part to me about healing is it goes so much deeper. within our bodies, you know, have you ever heard of the issues or in your tissues?

um Or if you're doing yoga or anything else, you could have an emotional response, like you could start crying during, because our body does hold a lot of our pain.
Finding Emotional Roots of Physical Issues

And that's why it's so important to do practices to help you release those emotions out of your body. And you can even pinpoint different parts of your body can actually hold like keys to what needs to be healing. has really great books on, you know, how to heal your body. I'm not sure exactly that's the title, but Louise Hayes, um, One of her books, I have it and I turn to it so much.

It'll, it'll say if I'm having a certain issue in a certain body part, I will look to it and there's affirmations that correspond to it. And I can just do like a release ritual.

Well, this last week with this pain that's still in my body right now, i really i went to my higher self during a breathwork meditation and I was just like, what am I still holding on to? There is something stuck in here because this is like right over my heart chakra.

And immediately it was like i had this memory and it just came to me. It was like it just showed me exactly what it was and I was like, okay, I'm I really need to do a cord cutting ceremony because this had to do with and an individual from my past and parts of myself that I really hadn't forgiven. and so...

With the jasmine flower essences and then looking up what they meant, it was so cool that it's literally talking about my heart chakra and releasing things from the past.

So the synchronicities that happen during your spiritual journey, it is just, it's unexplainable. I mean, like, how can you explain that all of those things lined up? And it's literally, to me, the universe saying, okay, like, here we go, we're, you know, you're going to heal this. And now I know exactly what I'm going to do when I set up this ritual for myself, I'm going to have my jasmine flower essences, and I'm going to repeat these affirmations that I'm really going to release this energy from my body.

And along with that, I wanted to talk about just that so many times in the Western culture that we live in when we have anything going on with our bodies physically, most of the time it's like, oh, just go to a doctor.

i really i've had so many things that have gone on in my life where I just really believe that we have the ability to look inward and try other methods before we just immediately, like, yeah, I mean, I've been in pain. I could take a whole bunch of ibuprofen or Tylenol. I could take pain pills I could take all of these things but like those are just like a band-aid over the deeper issues that are going on so instead i will stretch you know I will do yoga I will go in the hot tub I went and got a massage I'm I'm doing a lot more things to take care of myself and

And if it gets really extreme, then I could take the pills. But what happens a lot of times when all we do is turn to pills, we are not truly going to allow our body, our body isn't going to heal from a pill.

We're not giving ourselves the self-love that our body actually needs. I mean, I'm 47. That's me, that's not very old, but I have some wear and tear on my body physically.

And I know in order to truly do my body like really give it the best, I'm going to have to take time to work on my flexibility. I'm going to have to take time to breathe and slow down and allow myself to expand more within my body.

Because as we are aging, or if we have any old injuries, Yeah, again, i could take pills, I could go in and get injections.

I've done all those things before, but I never actually got better. So now it's like, in what ways can we start healing ourselves physically without automatically going to a doctor?

I know that I believe doctors are so great for emergency situations or correcting things that like there's no way we can correct. But I don't think it really should be the first thing we do if something in our body is not cooperating. That's usually a signal that there is something going on and we really have the capacity to heal our bodies physically physically.

through diet, through exercise, through stretching, through nervous system regulation, through resting, through again, you know, taking the time for our bodies instead of just, oh, I'm in pain, I'm just gonna pop this pill and immediately, you know, just get get on with my life. See, that's the thing. It's like,

One of the biggest reasons I started this podcast was for women to come back to their bodies and remember the sacredness of their bodies. And in our society of achievements and going and moving all the time, sometimes, yeah, ah you have so many things going on in your life that you just instead...

do what ah like whatever quick fix just to get you to the next minute or to the next day. But that is going to compound over time and it's going to cause more issues.

So Bridging Western and Eastern medicines. Again, I'm not saying Western medicine is bad because I know that it is like it has saved my life. It has saved my son's life, my daughter's life. Many people that I know without doctors um in emergency rooms, you know, we wouldn't be here.

But there's also many times where we have the capacity to utilize more natural remedies and even, you know, Eastern medicine like acupuncture,

um there herbs there's herbs for anti-inflammation. there's i mean, for every medicine out there, the original medicine came from plants.

And And I've just been between the things that I've been through medically and the things that I dealt with my daughter with medically.

And i have been able to overcome so many things without the use of

Western medicine. I just know that if we can come back in touch with our bodies and know how powerful we really are at healing our body.

you know, I don't know if you've heard of Dr. Joe Dispenza, but he was able to heal his spine after being in a horrible biking accent accident or cyclist. He was um on a ah bicycle.

If you haven't heard of Dr. Joe Dispenza, I highly recommend ah listening to him, finding him. I believe, you know, he's, yeah it won't be hard to find him.

But there are ways that you can heal your body physically. There really are. So yeah, I just wanted to encourage that on this episode to take the time for your body that it really needs to stretch it, to drink the appropriate amount of water and minerals, to you know get vitamin D from the sun or from a supplement, to make sure that you are properly feeding your body and also just taking care of it so that you don't have to only rely on things that aren't going to help you.
