Body shaming has become very, well, it's always been bad, but now that social media is big, you have these random people just talking crap about

And so this big thing came about when it comes to body shaming and there are tremendous people coming out, showing their body, saying they love their bodies.

But my thing is to truly love yourself.

Like if you really, really love yourself, you start doing things for your physical body

It's like your body is doing so much to take care of you.

When I was 17, before basketball games, I was eating McChickens, double cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets.

And at the time, it was fine because I was an athlete.

But I wasn't processing it.

I shouldn't eat it.

So I will say there are people out there who are doing the best they can.

But as you get older, the body does change.

Because you can't just keep putting regular gas in your tank and thinking it's gonna run efficiently as the car ages or you don't get an oil change or a tune-up.

And the thing is, in certain areas, Baltimore being one, in certain environments, they don't have a Whole Foods.

They don't have the earth bars in there.

No, they have carry-outs, they have liquor stores, they have McDonald's, they have Burger King.

But, you know, what I'm saying is there's not a very health-conscious, like...

It's healthy here, everyone looks good, everyone takes care of their body.

Where everybody doesn't have that access to eat good, look good, and feel good because it's not in their world.

So, just to go back, I want people to be mindful that when we're talking about health and fitness and holding yourself accountable and being healthy and fit, that we're not saying that everyone has to be perfect.

Because we do understand that some people don't have the resources or the information to know what to eat or when they should eat or when to work out.

But we're holding each other accountable as individuals.

We try our best to eat healthy because our body and our mind and our spirit is our life.

So if you don't have the information, there's ways you can get it.

Yeah, you know, I'm a fitness trainer, so I realized over the years, food combining, so say for instance, I have a healthy plate.

I have salmon, I have sweet potatoes, I have brown rice, I have Brussels sprouts.

That's a kind of unique mix of food, but somewhat healthy, right?

But some of those food don't belong on a plate.

So it's called food combining.

So when you combine the wrong foods in your body, it doesn't digest and process the right way.

Also, I believe 80% or 90% of people swallow their food.

So when you swallow your food, you're not getting what you need from it.
