Q&A: Building a BDSM Dungeon

Speaker
Here's a message from Mistress Robin out of Rochester, New York.

Hello, FFF. My name is Mistress Robin. I'm looking to convert my unfinished basement into a BDSM dungeon, and I'm hoping you can recommend the most cost-effective building materials for my project.

Speaker
I don't think I'll need to alter any walls. My biggest concern is quick cleanup and sanitization.

Hi, Mistress Robin. For kink dungeons, I usually recommend starting with the drainage system. Install a graded trench drain along one side of your dungeon. You're going to want to spray the dungeon down quickly between clients, and a trench drain allows you to direct the water and filth to one side of the room in volume.

This is not where you want to cut costs because a small basement drain simply won't work for squirters and other messy slaves. I'm also going to suggest quarry tile on the floor. It's about $12 per square foot.

This is the tile commercial kitchens use, and it's non-slip, resistant to stains, and easy to clean. Get a dark color for further stain management. Go ahead and leave your basement walls concrete, but paint them with Drylock brand masonry paint in gray.

Last but not least, you'll need good ventilation, especially if you do butt stuff in the dungeon. I recommend you install an easy-breathe basement ventilation system to suck out moisture and smells.

Conclusion and Farewell

That'll cost you two grand. I wish you luck, and I hope your subs, pets, kittens, or whatever you call them enjoy themselves. If you follow my recommendations, I know you'll have a safe and sanitary dungeon.
