And the reason I wanted to talk about this today is because it's December, it's December 3rd, the day that I'm recording this and getting it out to you guys. And that means we have one month left of this month until we go into 2024.

And so this is a time where we all naturally start reflecting on what we've accomplished this year. And I hope that you really take time to look at all the beautiful things that you have done this year.

Reflecting on 2023 and Setting Goals for 2024

There is so many ways that you have grown and transformed and stepped into

deeper parts of yourself that I want you to take a real moment to reflect on and be so grateful for. I think oftentimes we can focus it's normal for our human minds to focus on

negative things and kind of worry or stress out about things that we didn't accomplish or, you know, maybe there's dreams that are unfulfilled and it's been another year and we haven't made the progress that we want to have. And just know that that is totally normal. That is okay. I'm going to set you up today to go into 2024 knowing how to make soul aligned goals so that you can step into your purpose and live the life that you want to live. Okay.

We are going to new places. 2024 is going to bring in a new energy. And anything that you've been really wanting to do, but you've been sitting on the sidelines because of fear, because of inadequacy, all of the shadow parts of ourselves,

We don't have time for that anymore. And you are going to kill 2024. And we want to make sure that you are set up for success to make sure that you're actually doing what you want to do. So again, I want you to just make sure that you take time in your day, later today, whenever you're listening to this, to write down in your journal all of the things that you've accomplished this year.

You have done so much. You are not the same person that you were when you first started this year. And really look at all parts of your life. Look at career, relationships, finances, purpose, expression, all of the different parts of yourself. Fitness, health, wellness,

knowledge, learning, look at your core values and all of the things that you want to step into and just see how far you've came over the last year because you are not the same person. You are unrecognizable in some parts of your life and anything that you are holding onto or that you're ready to shift or that you want to step into to become even the highest next version of yourself, we're going to do it in 2024, okay? So I got you.

So let's talk about why it's so important to really run our goals and our manifestations through our human design.

Impact of Conditioning on Goal Setting

So all of us are prone to conditioning, right? Like conditioning doesn't mean a negative. It could be positive as well, but conditioning just means that we are influenced by the people around us, our family members, our friends, society, our peer group.

whatever information we're listening to, whatever information we're taking in. And a lot of times we can create goals or manifestations based on things that aren't even really aligned with what our soul wants or where our soul wants to go.

And so the great thing about human design is first of all, there's so many parts that we could get into that could help you, you know, really step into your soul lines path and start living your purpose from a place of alignment. But for today's episode, I really want to focus on the centers. So we're going to pull up your body graph.

And if you're driving, obviously, you can't pull up your body graph. But maybe you have it memorized. Maybe you need to look at it later. But either way, you are going to create some space for yourself this week, pull up your body graph, and look at your centers. And I want you to look at where you have undefined or open centers. So these are going to be the white shapes.

And wherever you have undefined or open centers, these are the centers where we don't produce our own energy and we're actually prone to the most conditioning from everyone around us. From all of the outside sources, they influence us unconsciously.

When we look at these centers, there's actual not-self themes that we can look at and see like, oh wow, am I operating or choosing a goal that is actually coming from a place of a not-self? That is actually coming from a wounded place or a shadow place in me?

And how can I tweak that goal or that manifestation to be something that's actually so aligned? That way, when you get that manifestation, you actually want it, you can hold it, and you can actually attain it. Because if we are manifesting or choosing goals from a wounded place,

Either one, we might not be able to actually attain it. Two, if we do get it, we might decide and realize that, oh my God, I actually don't want this. I don't want this at all. Or if we do get it, also, we might not be able to hold onto it because it's just not aligned. It was coming from a shadow frequency, from a place of fear, a place of lack, a place of inadequacy, etc.

Okay, so let's get into the different centers. I'm going to kind of just give you an outline of what it would look like if you're choosing a goal from a shadow place of you. And again,

If you have a lot of, if you have undefined and open centers, the white colored shapes, this does not mean that you have a deficit or that something's wrong with you, or it's not as good as someone who has definition here. It literally just is what it is. And you actually have the potential to have the most wisdom in these places. Because these are the places where you're totally open to all possibilities.

like you don't have your own kind of like rose-colored glasses on filtering the world through these centers. You're actually open to the wisdom from all possibilities and all potential. So it can actually be a great place for you to have a lot of awareness and empathy around and be able to actually connect with other people and have a very deep understanding of yourself. So again, I just want you to like

not think that there's either good or bad when it comes to definition. It's literally just is what it is. And it's just so cool to understand ourselves on a deeper level. So let's say you pull up your chart. And we're going to start from the top down.

Understanding Undefined Centers in Human Design

Okay, so

All right, we're going to start from the Head Center and going down. So you have your Head Center, right? The Head Center is the hub that is associated with inspiration that brings us forward potential questions, doubts, and confusion. So if you have an undefined Head Center,

you may be having thoughts or trying to answer questions that aren't even yours. And where this can kind of get in the way of like your goals or like something you're trying to manifest as an example is like say you're trying to solve someone else's problem through your desired goal or you're trying to manifest something that you might not even actually

care about or be inspired by, but you're kind of influenced by other people around you and it's interrupting like what your actual desire is.

Also, if you're manifesting anything that creates anxiety, stress, confusion, or depression, this is also something that's probably coming from the not-self theme. So a good way to tweak that desire would to be to look at it as like, how can this create more expansion for me, more clarity, more ease, and more peace? Okay, so I'm going to give you an example.

And I'm gonna give you a personal example and also just know that

Like this shouldn't scare you or worry you to like make goals or create manifestations because you're worried that, oh, like, is this not aligned? Is this not really what I want? Everything in life is a experiment. Like all that we're doing is we're just experimenting with things and being able to look at your desires and see if they're actually so aligned. All it does is it just helps you cut down on time. It helps you make it more efficient and it helps you

Realize what your soul actually wants but if you were to manifest something that isn't aligned like nothing is wrong with that like that's cool like you're still gonna like if you're still able to manifest it that's awesome and then once you get it you might just then realize that it's not what you actually wanted so this process just helps you cut down time makes it more efficient.

and kind of connects you to yourself and your actual desires so you don't waste money, time, or effort creating something that you don't actually want. But again, you shouldn't have any fear. Like everything that happens is happening to teach us a lesson. And so it's all good and well. Okay. But a good example of this is

when I first started out on my coaching journey and I was trying to figure out like who did I want to help? And I was reading through my journal and I saw this like journal entry that I had where it was when I was still in the process of trying to stop drinking alcohol and I was very sad, like in a very depressed state. And I was basically kind of like praying to God of like, God, like if you can please just help me change my life and just feel better. I promise I will do whatever it takes to help other women.

with the same problem so that they can move from suffering to joy and live a life that they love. And so when I went back and reread that journal prompt, and this was when I was trying to discover like, who do I want to help? Like, what do I want my niece to be? And from there, I was like, Oh, I think I want to help women

in sobriety. I was like, okay, cool. I want to become a sobriety goddess coach. And so that's when I created my sobriety goddess coaching program. Now I didn't really think it through in terms of like,

Why do I actually want to do this? Is this something that actually excites me? Is this something that I'm currently super excited and passionate to talk about? Is this something that I want to receive higher education on? It was more of just me trying to answer a question or solve a problem for other people that I wasn't really connected to, which I later found out

when I decided to stop in sobriety goddess coaching and when I decided to move towards purpose.

But the thing is, is that this also helped me meet a lot of people and have a lot of opportunities open up that kind of like in a different way helped me get to where I'm at today. So I don't regret it at all, but it did just waste a little bit of time and a little, I just had more confusion around what I actually wanted to do and it didn't feel good. So like when I was creating my coaching container,

When I was talking about it, having discovery calls, I didn't actually feel equipped to hold that space and I actually wasn't interested in it anymore because at that time, at that point, I had already been sober for over five years. This idea of helping people with new sobriety wasn't really actually that interesting for me and I actually really lost touch with what it felt like to

not be able to stay sober for a day and just needing to get through a day and the next day. What are their pain points? What are they really struggling with? What I was actually really more excited about was purpose and helping people find out what their strengths and gifts are and how can they create a life that they love. That wasn't really coinciding with what someone needs when they're first on their sobriety journey. I still went through a lot of processes to

equip myself with that goal and that desire. So I went through a sober girls guide certification, and I became a certified sober girls guide coach. And I learned how to walk people through the early steps of sobriety. And then I also started leading

weekly support groups for Sober Girls Guide. So I would host weekly support groups and walk people through whatever was coming up through early sobriety. And I really had this emphasis on spirituality. That's really what my groups were about was spirituality, manifestation, tapping into that kind of stuff.

While I met incredible people, I had super cool opportunities open up for me. It opened up a lot of doors. It still didn't feel like the inside of me, my soul wasn't super, super aligned with the actual work of doing it because I wanted to actually do something else, which was purpose driven. But with my undefined head center, I was kind of trying to

answer the question that someone else has is like, dang, how can I become sober? How can I learn how to enjoy life without alcohol? And those weren't necessarily questions that I was trying to answer for myself anymore or that I was excited to answer.

And so that's just kind of an example of how this can come through. So if you have an undefined head center, you can, if this, again, this, this center is white in your body graph, you can start thinking about like, okay, this is the goal that I want to do. Is this really what I want to do? Or am I trying to answer someone else's question? Am I trying to solve something that I don't actually really care so much about? And there's so many other people that are equipped to answer this question. So that's kind of a cool way that you can look at it.

Okay. Um, and then also if you want to do journal questions, I also created different journal questions for these as well. And so if you want to journal on this, you can ask yourself, is this goal or manifestation actually a problem that I'm trying to solve for myself or for someone else? And do I feel pressure or a need to figure out XYZ? Okay. And you can also journal on the question,

Do I feel anxiety, stress, confusion, or depression when thinking about my goal? If so, how can I edit it to feel more expansive, limitless, and excited? So those are some cool journal prompts you can do.

your guide to aligned goals, soul aligned goals. So it's kind of what I'm walking you through right now. Okay, so now moving on to the ashna center, which is that third eye center.

would be like your third eye in terms of the chakras. Okay, so the Ajna or the mind center is the hub associated with consciousness that conceptualizes and interprets answers as opinions, concepts, and theories.

So those with undefined ajanas, like me, you might be conditioned to feel like you're inadequate by not thinking logically. You might feel like you need to be put in a box to think a certain way. You might feel like you can't hold on to facts or information like other people do. Like it might come in one ear and out the other. You might feel stupid, dumb, airheaded. Like these are all things that I felt in my life that I just didn't realize were actually because I just have an undefined ajana center and there's nothing wrong with me.

So for us, we will never have certainty. There is no reason to try to search for certainty. It's okay and acceptable to not feel certain, and we don't need to pretend to be certain. I always say, instead of seeking certainty, seek clarity, okay? Because we can always be clear and have clarity about our goals and manifestations and everything in life, but we will never be certain about anything.

So if you have an undefined Ashna, a way that this might show up in your manifestations is like, are you trying to logically think about how you're going to attain your goal?

before you actually set the goal. So what I mean by this is like, are you allowing yourself to think outside of the box, to dream, to pick something that is just so like, so out there and like savage? I don't know the word like savage is coming up, but it's like so like, damn, like that is a aspirational goal that I want to achieve because it feels so, so aligned. Or are you trying to keep yourself fixed in a box because

you're logically thinking like, well, to get to there from where I'm at now sounds literally impossible. So I'm not even going to allow myself to dream that big. Like, are you doing that to yourself? And it's very easy to do that to ourselves, especially if we have undefined Asana centers, because we might

feel like we need to logically think things through, like in a linear fashion, like people with a defined Ajna. But we're actually so meant to step into our curiosity, into freedom, expansiveness. We literally have open minds, and we can see the world from a million different viewpoints. We have unlimited ways that we can see the world. And so are we allowing ourselves to also see ourselves that way and create goals that feel really good? Or are we holding ourselves back?

And a journal prompt that you can ask yourself is, are you allowing yourself to dream big or are you holding yourself back by the way that other people view you and your limitations?

Because sometimes if we're creating a goal or a desire from our past or current identity and the way that we view ourselves or the way that we think other people view ourselves, it might seem so out there or so big to step into this new identity that we don't even allow ourselves the opportunity to dream like that or to create it.

maybe we've had a really cruel family member who always put down our dreams and our goals and made us feel like we're crazy for even thinking about that. Or maybe we've shared some of our soul aligned purpose, dreams and ideas with people close to us who shut it down because they couldn't see it for themselves. They definitely couldn't see it for us. And so their negativity just made us feel like shutting down and not opening ourselves up.

So that's something to really think about when you're journaling on your dreams and goals, like are you allowing yourself to dream big enough? Okay, and now we're gonna go down to the throat center. So the throat center is really the hub that's associated with manifestation as communication or action. And those of us that have undefined throats are here to really release the control to

control everything that we say, how we express ourselves, how we show up. And we're here to really just allow it to come through. Also, when we have undefined throats, there is kind of this not-self theme of we feel, we can feel a little bit invisible or unimportant. And so sometimes we might act out to be seen, to draw attention to us, to make a big impression.

or show up as like, quote unquote, the life of the party, when really we don't need to do that. We can just be ourselves. We can speak when we feel ready to speak, not because we feel pressured to speak, not because we feel pressured to manifest certain things. So the way that you can look at this through your manifestations and goals, if you have an undefined throat center,

is think about this. Is your goal or manifestation filling a desire to be seen, noticed, or to attract attention? Okay, so that's a really good one. Like when you really think down to the root of your goal, is the goal so aligned or do you just want to be seen, recognize, notice, and have attention drawn to you?

And also, there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be seen, notice. That is literally a legitimate human desire. We want to put ourselves out there. We want to be recognized for what we're doing. But the root reason of our goal cannot be that. Otherwise, it won't be sustainable. And we'll block it and we'll probably never achieve that goal. Or if we do, we won't actually be happy.

Okay, so another way you can kind of, another journal question you can ask yourself also is like, are you allowing yourself to express yourself freely when creating this goal desire? Or are you controlling it? Are you suppressing certain aspects of yourself because you're afraid to show up and, you know, be your most unhinged, most fully expressed self? Like, is there something, is there a goal that you would have

that you're not allowing yourself to have because it would be too much. Like you would just be too out there, too fully expressed. Is there any fear that's holding you back from like really committing to that goal? Okay. So that's something you can really ask yourself. An example would be like, if I was creating

a, let's say if someone was creating an Instagram account because they wanted to help people, they wanted to become some sort of coach. But if the root desire was that they just wanted to be seen and noticed, they don't actually really want to help people. They don't actually have like intentions of

having any education or taking any training to help people. It's more like they just kind of want to be seen and validated. Then what they should do instead is just notice that and then maybe do something else like become an influencer and sell

like brand stuff or you know like be an ambassador for brands because then they can like be seen, they can be validated, they can share themselves instead of hiding behind this goal or like fake desire of wanting to help other people and become a coach. Because it's just going to be so unaligned that they're probably not going to have any success or if they do,

They're actually going to be harming people because their true desire isn't to help people. So they're not really learning the skills required to help other people. And it's more coming from an egoic place. I'm like, Oh, I just want to be seen. And I want people to like me, which isn't aligned. So to see how there's kind of like a difference there.

Okay, the next center as we move down the body graph is going to be the G Center. So the G Center is the identity hub and this is really associated with love, identity, and direction. And this is the seat of the highest self. So if you have an undefined identity center, you're here to really learn that who you are in the present moment is enough. So there's no

need to seek validation, love, acceptance from other people, especially by doing things or by pressure to be a certain person or like figure out who your identity or purpose is.

The reason why is because you don't have a fixed identity or purpose. It's literally changing all the time as you grow and evolve. And so if you are trying to choose some sort of goal or manifestation that is like

trying to fill this void of not knowing what your identity is and you think by achieving this goal, it's going to help you have a clear identity, then that is not a soul aligned goal because your identity is constantly changing. It's like you're like a chameleon. You're really here to accept that you're never going to have a fixed identity or purpose. It is growing, evolving all the time.

And so really run your goals through that if you have an undefined G center and ask yourself like, oh, am I doing this because this is going to somehow give me safety or like fulfill some part of me that doesn't feel worthy enough with just having an open identity. Another thing that you can journal about is how can you tweak your goal so that it's coming from a place where you already feel whole and complete as yourself in the moment?

So if this goal that you're reaching for was going to fulfill some sort of identity need that you needed within you, how can you already feel whole and complete now? And then what would you want? Like what would that extra thing be that would just make you feel good? But not necessarily feel a need to like have your identity or your purpose like solidified.

I hope that makes sense. Okay, so now we're moving down to the heart center, which is also known as the ego center. So this is really the hub that is associated with willpower and the material world. So if you have an undefined heart center, you're here to learn that you don't need to do any shoulds or any coulds or anything that puts pressure on you to overexert yourself or to like do or be anything.

So any goal or manifestation that you're trying to create to fill some sort of like pressure or need to feel worthy is going to be unaligned. And so if you feel like one of your goals is to fulfill that need, just think about how you can tweak it to

to come from a place of already knowing that you are worthy of anything and you don't need to do or to be more busy to be worthy. Okay, so now moving down to the solar plexus. So the solar plexus center is associated with emotional and social awareness, passion, desire,

an abundance of spirit, feelings, moods, and sensitivity. So if you have an undefined emotional center, you're here to learn from emotional frequencies that move through you from other people, from other people that have defined emotional solar plexus. Because when we have an undefined or open undefined emotional solar plexus, we

do not have the emotional wave. We don't have the ups and downs. We're more of a kind of even keel type state. And so we have the ability to really feel and amplify the emotions of other people. So we're here to really learn how to let those pass through us. So

If you have an undefined emotional solar plexus, we are conditioned to sometimes avoid truth because we don't want to feel the uncomfortability of other people's emotions because it just didn't feel good. We never really learned how to process those feelings. And so a journal prompt you can ask yourself is, is your goal or manifestation coming from a place of wanting to escape? Is it coming from a place of wanting to escape emotions, feelings, moods, because they're too much?

And if you close your eyes and imagine yourself feeling at total peace and you understand that the emotions, feelings, and moods that we experience are not ours, but they are other people's. They're just interacting with our aura. We can let them come in. We can let them go. How would you tweak your goal or desire knowing that you have the ability to tap into peace in any moment?

Okay, awesome. Now moving down to the sacral center. So the sacral center is the hub associated with the power of fertility, vital energy, responsiveness, availability, and sexuality. So if you have an undefined sacral, you're here to really learn how to establish healthy boundaries around your energy. Okay, so

The way to think about this, if you want to journal prompt is, are you honoring your energy and creating healthy energetic boundaries with your goal and manifestation? Or are you pushing yourself into overdrive?

Okay. And if you're pushing yourself into overdrive, how can you tweak your desire goal so that it matches and honors your energetic type? So a great example that I had for this would be if you have an undefined sacral, if you have an undefined sacral center and you are starting a podcast,

say this person is starting a podcast not because they actually desire to share their wisdom through spoken word or to practice self-expression or to share in a way that feels really good. Instead, they're starting the podcast only because they took a course on marketing and that teacher recommended starting a podcast to grow their audience.

And so they're like, Oh, okay, cool. Like this is a great way to grow the audience. I don't really, I've never had a desire to speak, but I'm going to do it anyways for the sole purpose of growing an audience. What's going to happen is if they start the podcast, they might be able to push through

Because undefined sacrals don't really have the ability to know when enough is enough. So they might actually push through, push themselves through to burnout, and then feel bitterness, anger, disappointment, depending on what their type is, okay?

So what they could do instead is to tweak their desire or manifestation from instead of, oh, I'm going to start a podcast because I want to grow my audience, is I'm going to blank because I want to grow my audience and pick something that actually feels good that they actually really want to do. Not something that a teacher told them to do, not something that a marketing guru taught them to do, not something that their peers are doing. It's like, what do you actually want to do?

Because the actual goal that you have is to grow your audience. The goal wasn't to start the podcast. That was just what you wanted to do because you actually wanted to grow your audience. So how can you find a way to grow your audience in a way that feels really good and really aligned with your energy?

What they can do to tweak their goal or desire is they can still start a podcast. Literally anybody can do anything. We need to stay away from

not thinking that we can do certain things because of our human design or our types or whatever. It should not be limiting at all. It should actually just help us find ways that we can be more ourselves and succeed and be successful. We can literally, all of us can do whatever the heck we want. Our human designs don't matter, but let's tap into them to help us. Say a projector wants to start a podcast, but they're a little nervous that they won't be able to show up weekly.

What I've seen done that works so freaking perfectly for a projector is to do seasons. Okay? So do seasons of a podcast. That way you can show up when it feels good. You're not confined to any like, Oh, weekly, it's going to drop weekly. No, it's just, Oh, this is season one. You don't even have to say how frequent they're going to come out, but you can just be in season one.

drop them whenever you want. And then when you feel like you need to take an energetic break, you can just stop for however long it needs to be. And then when you want to start again, just start season two. That way you're allowing yourself to have space. You are not tying yourself down to anything. You're honoring your energetic, your energetic signature. And you're also not having any guilt or shame around not being able to show up in a certain way, because there is no certain way. It's just that we get in our heads and compare ourselves to other people when

Really, it's like, how can we find ways that feel good to us and that honor us? And there's so many expanders out there to really look up to and help us when we want to learn how to do something in a way that is aligned for us. So that's a great example of how to tweak that.

Embracing Fear and Managing Pressure

And individuals with undefined spleens are here to embrace their fears. They're here to learn how to become fearless in a different way and how to really look at them head on.

So a way that this can show up in manifestation is this is a great example. Say someone with an undefined spleen center has a desire to prioritize their health and wellness this year and so they buy a year-long gym membership and they set the goal to go to the gym four times a week.

Okay. Even though they know that they've bought in gym memberships in the past, they've maybe gone a couple of times and they completely stopped going because like social anxiety, it's a, it's a little overwhelming and uncomfortable because they don't know how to use the equipment. They feel like everyone's staring at them. So they just quit. And then they just let a whole year go by again of not prioritizing their health and wellness. And they're just like not doing anything about it because they're a little crippled by the fear.

Instead, a way to tweak this goal is like, hey, this year I want to focus on my health and wellness. I really want to start working out. So I'm going to do home workouts. So they can look up YouTube videos or get an app and just work from home, the comfort of their home. So now they have no excuses to prioritize their health. Like it's easier. It cuts down on time. They have everything they need in their home. Um, they don't have to worry about like the kind of like social anxiety of going to the gym.

They don't have to worry about missing any days. They literally can just bring it to their house. And this is really a way to like tweak that goal so that they feel safe and like they're, they're continuing to have safety in themselves. So a journal prompt could be, are you choosing goals or manifestations that expand you or are you choosing or cleaning two desires that are rooted in fear and self-sabotage? And then,

How can you tweak your goal or manifestation so that you feel safe enough to follow through while also being expanded? Because of course, if we do want to grow and evolve, it is going to be uncomfortable. Like that's just the nature of growth. If it was easy, everyone would just like be excelling. Okay, awesome. So let's move down to the last and final center is the root center. So the root center is associated with pressure and it's like an adrenal pressure that really sustains momentum for living and stress.

So oftentimes with undefined root centers, we feel this need to like rush or hurry up and get things done because it's this uncomfortable pressure. And so when you're thinking about this in terms of your manifestations and goals, are you putting, and this is a journal prompt, are you putting unrealistic pressure time deadlines on your goals or manifestations? Okay. Cause this can happen often. Like this is a great example.

Say you're unhappy with your nine to five and you got a Reiki practitioner certification last year. You haven't really used it that much, but you really want to step into your gifts this year in 2024. You want to start your conscious business. Okay.

So you see all of these boss babes and business coaches online talking about making 10K months, 20K months. And so you set this goal that in three months you want to make $10,000 a month so you can leave your nine to five and live your purpose of helping others through Reiki.

First of all, this is putting very unrealistic pressure on yourself to go from zero to 100 in a very unrealistic timeframe. Okay. So a way that you might tweak this goal would be like, okay. Um, in six months to a year.

I want to hit XK months. So maybe that would look like starting with, okay, I want to make a thousand dollars a month from my Reiki services to start with. And then you would break that goal down to like, okay, like how many sessions would you have to do to reach a thousand dollars? How much do your sessions cost and break it down? Like, okay, well I would have to do one at a thousand dollars or I can do two at $500 or I can do four at $250 a piece.

and so on. Just keep breaking it down until it feels good to you and doable while you're still working your nine to five job. So that's the thing with undefined roots is, and I have undefined root. I know the pressure. I do this all the time too, where I look around me and I feel like, oh, everyone else is succeeding or surpassing me. Why is this taking so long? But really, if we want to
