Welcome back to the Pass Around the Smile podcast!

Today’s episode is all about gratitude, and how it can help your manifestations materialise quicker and easier than ever before! Gratitude is one of the highest forms of vibrational energy and when felt, it releases dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin, all which bring on happy feelings. I chat about different ways we can feel and express gratitude, and a common mistake I find people make on their journey toward a more grateful life.

Gratitude can help our manifestations materialise in so many different ways. When we are grateful for something, we make room for more of what we want to materialise. We can also use gratitude to bring in what we haven’t yet received, which we chat about in this episode. It’s so exciting just how quickly the power of gratitude can create shifts in our life!

We finish off the episode chatting about a study which can open your mind up to how gratitude can help you, especially if you are struggling with anxiety or depression. Sometimes gratitude can be too far of a reach for you if you are really struggling - and that’s okay. I definitely recommend seeking professional help if this is the case.

I challenge my beautiful community to a gratitude exercise for the month which I’m excited to get started on as well!

GRATITUDE EXERCISE:
For 30 days straight, I challenge you to write 30 things a day that you're thankful for! Some days will be harder than others, but I benefited so much from this exercise last time I did it! Try not to repeat anything, you can repeat themes, etc family. But thankful for what exactly? Thankful for the meal you had together, this particular memory, when this family member bought you a gift. Etc. Instead of just writing thankful for family, over and over. This really opens your mind and heart up!

Introduction to Pass Around the Smile

00:00:04
Speaker
Pass Around the Smile is like your go-to friend, the one that lifts you up and backs you to the end. She's there to guide and inspire, challenge and teach, and remind you that your best self isn't out of reach. Self-development, manifestation, self-love and more, it's time to trust the process more than ever before. Welcome to Pass Around the Smile, the podcast. I'm your host, Cleo Massey, and I am so glad you're here. Let the magic begin.
00:00:32
Speaker
Hello and welcome back to the Pass Around the Smile podcast. Like really welcome back because I have been gone three weeks now and I want to thank you so much for your patience.
00:00:42
Speaker
this break was so important for me and I'll probably explain why in a few weeks because it'll end up being a whole pass around the smile story in itself as everything kind of always ends up being.

The Power of Gratitude in Manifestation

00:00:54
Speaker
But I'm really excited for today's episode because it's a really feel-good one and it's one that I want you to come back to when you are lacking
00:01:03
Speaker
those feelings of gratitude and when you are lacking the hope that you need to manifest your desires. Because this episode is one that will bring that hope and inspiration that yes you can actually manifest anything that it is that you want and yes it actually can be
00:01:21
Speaker
as easy as literally showing some gratitude for what you have in your life and feeling it deeply. That's the cool thing about gratitude is that it is so damn powerful and of such a high vibration that when you are genuinely and deeply feeling it,
00:01:38
Speaker
you can manifest things without even trying to actively manifest, if that makes sense. So it's a very exciting episode. Thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for coming back. I love you guys so much. Please feel very welcome to keep posting in my Facebook community. The link will be in the show notes if you haven't joined yet.
00:01:57
Speaker
Any suggestions for upcoming episodes? Any questions? And there are no silly questions and I answer every one of them in the Facebook community. It's a really nice and supportive place to

Acknowledgement of Sponsor, Healing Earth Co.

00:02:06
Speaker
be. So we have a beautiful sponsor for today's episode. I want to say a huge thank you to Healing Earth Co, a beautiful business whose products I personally use as a part of my
00:02:17
Speaker
daily kind of routine because she has a perfume roller that I'm loving at the moment but also as a part of my kind of manifestation card reading meditation ritual I'm really loving her botanical serum for that kind of putting it on my wrists and my temples and it you know when you kind of smell something so beautiful and it's all natural and made with so much love and it just kind of like
00:02:40
Speaker
takes you into that woo woo headspace where you're going into a meditation. And what I've found is I'm now using it as well before I go on my gratitude walks, which actually links very nicely to today's episode. And when I'm out and about and I'm trying to get into that, you know, grateful mindset, and if I'm feeling a little bit lost or distracted, I don't know if this sounds weird, but I'll smell my wrists and immediately I'm taken back to that woo woo kind of calm, meditative,
00:03:08
Speaker
Headspace? So yeah, beautiful, beautiful business. Sophie is the humble human being behind Healing Earth Co. She adores natural wellness and her kind of journey began as a young child because she really struggled with extreme eczema, skin sensitivity and really troublesome digestion. But then she started creating her own kind of nourishing herbs and oils and plant extracts and
00:03:32
Speaker
She started to heal herself and she started to feel so alive from the inside out. And now she shares that through her beautiful business and she has a range of amazing, amazing products. Botanical skin serums, natural deodorants, essential oil, perfume rollers.
00:03:49
Speaker
I am actually going to move on to the natural deodorant soon because I personally suffer from psoriasis, but under my arms, like my armpits, it's crazy and it hurts and it's itchy. Um, so I'm going to move on to that soon, but it really is a beautiful business. As I've mentioned to you guys before, I will only have sponsors on this podcast who really align with pass around the smile and it feels good to talk about them. Uh, so she does have a discount code for you guys. It's thank you 10 in capital letters for 10% off.
00:04:16
Speaker
Her beautiful products and all of her details are in the show

Deepening Gratitude Practice

00:04:19
Speaker
notes. Without further ado though, let's get into today's exciting episode and talk all about gratitude and how it can extremely strengthen your manifestations like crazy.
00:04:31
Speaker
So as I've mentioned quite a few times in the podcast, gratitude is one of the highest forms of vibrational energies that we can feel. So when we are wanting to get on a high frequency, when we're wanting to feel good, when we're wanting to overcome something, when we're wanting to manifest something.
00:04:47
Speaker
The quickest and easiest way to do that is to use gratitude. But we can't just trick the kind of universe and the energies that surround us into, oh, I'm feeling really grateful. We have to actually deeply, really genuinely feel it. So you don't want to just get in a habit of saying your gratitude statements over and over. You know, I'm grateful for this. I'm grateful for that.
00:05:11
Speaker
and kind of have the same things that you say every day and you're almost not really thinking about it. You're just saying them. That's not really going to work in the way that you want it to. You really need to feel deeply that sense of gratitude when you are stating your mantras. And I find it really powerful to change my personal gratitude statements up. So even if it's saying the same thing, let's say I'm grateful for my husband, Luke.
00:05:37
Speaker
I will change it so it's like I'm so grateful for the dinner he cooked me last night or I am so grateful for the swim we had together last weekend. So getting really specific and kind of changing it takes you back to whatever it was that actually makes you feel that gratitude. And what it does is when we feel gratitude, like genuinely feel it,
00:05:58
Speaker
Our brain releases dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin, all which make us feel happy, more connected and hopeful. So all really, really incredible feelings. But I do just want to say, make sure that when you are stating your gratitude statements, your mantras, your thoughts, journaling your gratitude out, whatever works for you, make sure you are genuinely feeling it. You're not just writing it. You're not just saying it to like tick it off the list.
00:06:25
Speaker
That's not going to work. Think about it. Feel the gratitude and change up your statement. So you're not saying the same thing over and over and over again. Do whatever it takes to like kind of get yourself in that feeling of gratitude, whether like I said before, oh, I'm so thankful for the beach swim I had with Luke.
00:06:45
Speaker
Well, I would smell the smells of the ocean. I would feel how calm I felt, you know, frolicking in the ocean with him. So kind of like take yourself back to whatever it is that you're feeling grateful for and create the feelings because that's powerful in manifestation as well, right? And when you're feeling grateful for something, you manifest more of that kind of thing into your life. So you're using gratitude and manifestation effortlessly together. So don't just say it.
00:07:15
Speaker
Feel it and really create the feelings.

Gratitude in Adversity

00:07:17
Speaker
Take yourself back to what you're feeling grateful for. And please know too, you don't have to just be grateful for things that have happened in the past.
00:07:24
Speaker
You can be grateful for things that haven't materialized yet. That is a really big part of manifestation. Saying, oh, you know, I am so grateful for the money I have received. I'm so grateful that the doctor gave me this good news. I am so grateful that I'm feeling so content today, even if you're not. Because if you're saying it, if you're feeling it, you're tricking your mind into feeling how you wanna feel. You're tricking your mind into bringing in the money that you don't yet have.
00:07:52
Speaker
Because if you feel grateful for it, you make more room for what you want to materialize in your life. And I have some specific personal stories that I'll share as well that kind of show how that really works. But yeah, I really do feel that when you are in doubt, when you are feeling lost, when you're feeling confused, when you're feeling negative, show and feel gratitude. It is the fastest
00:08:19
Speaker
the quickest and the easiest way to get yourself out of a funk. You might be thinking, well, Cleo, I'm feeling really bad at the moment. I can't find anything to be grateful for. And sometimes, you know, anxiety and depression and grief and loss and things like that. Yeah.
00:08:39
Speaker
Gratitude might be too hard for you to reach right now and that's okay. Again, stepping into that toxic positivity realm. I don't want to ever force you to be positive or feel gratitude when you are going through something so real that needs to be felt, acknowledged and talked about with maybe a professional or trusted friends, family.
00:08:59
Speaker
But let's go for more the surface level things for this episode. So let's say that you are feeling negative because you've had like a falling out with a friend. I'm not saying that surface level, but I'm saying it's things that we can overcome. It's things that we can work on in our mind to free ourself to move forward.
00:09:17
Speaker
So falling out with a friend, you didn't get the job that you wanted. So negative things that feel really crappy. But how can you show some gratitude for that bad thing that's happened? We do know that obstacles are detours in the right direction, even though sometimes when we're in the depth of feeling crappy or rejected or lonely or whatever it is, we don't want to believe that it's a detour in the right direction. We just want to sit in sadness and cry.
00:09:47
Speaker
and be angry and think that the world is against us. But that's not going to help us, is it? Then it's not going to help the people around us and it's not going to help our manifestations materialize either. So can you find even just one thing out of this situation that has caused you grief or this
00:10:08
Speaker
person who has made you angry or this thing that maybe you did that you regret, can you find one tiny thing to be grateful for? Maybe it taught you patience. It taught you, you know, not to do it next time. Maybe it brought you closer to a different friend. Maybe it made you realize something huge about yourself that you now know that moving forward you are aware of.
00:10:32
Speaker
There is always something, and again, I'm talking about kind of everyday life experiences. If you are feeling extremely anxious or depressed right now, it might be too far for you to reach. But with everyday negativity that kind of comes and goes, the things where, you know, in a few weeks, you'll probably be over it. But right now you are fixated on it and you are letting it ruin your day. Well, can you find something?
00:11:01
Speaker
Just something. And then can you build on that one grateful thought? I read this quote the other day and I want to read it out. I absolutely love it. Okay. It says, imagine this. If you had $86,400 in an account, in a bank account,
00:11:16
Speaker
And someone stole $10 from you. Would you be upset and throw all of the remaining $86,390 away in the hopes of getting back at the person who took your $10? Or move on and live? Right, you would move on and live.
00:11:33
Speaker
See, we have 86,400 seconds each day. Don't let someone's negative 10 seconds ruin the remaining 86,390. Don't sweat the small stuff. Life is bigger than that.

Integrating Gratitude into Manifestation Practices

00:11:46
Speaker
So again, I'm talking about small stuff here, but I'm talking about the small stuff, which we all feel far too often. And we all make so much bigger than it ever has to be. We let it grow and grow and grow. We make it worse in our minds. We talk about it. We gossip about it.
00:12:02
Speaker
And all of a sudden it's this one big kind of mess that you have created unnecessarily. So we do, we have 86,400 seconds in every day, whether it's someone else that has taken some of that away from you and made you feel angry or sad or annoyed or whether it's your own doing. Should you then just waste all of the other seconds or should you kind of reflect maybe
00:12:30
Speaker
Find somewhere where you can be grateful for what has happened and build on that gratitude and move on. Benefiting yourself. This kind of goes back to what I was talking about in that Taking Accountability episode where the only person that you are hurting by holding on to anger, resentment, negativity is yourself. And of course, if you're hurting yourself, you're hurting the ones that you love the most. So you've got to fill yourself up first. You've got to take care of yourself. So...
00:12:58
Speaker
How can we change the way we look at things? Because honestly, oh my gosh, really, really, really does work when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at absolutely do change. I have felt that in the last few weeks so much.
00:13:14
Speaker
And I really want to encourage you to do the same. So the cool thing about gratitude and manifestation is, as you will know, if you've listened to my previous episodes, I've actually added a whole step of gratitude to the end of my personal manifestation steps that I use to kind of use the law of attraction because it is so important. The law of vibration is huge.
00:13:37
Speaker
in supporting the law of attraction in what we want. If we are vibrating high, we are feeling grateful. We are feeling grateful for what we already have. We are feeling grateful for what has happened in the past. We are feeling grateful for what is to come, but we are not holding on to the gratitude only if something
00:13:58
Speaker
X, Y and Z comes to us in the future. That's something you've really got to be careful of, is not thinking I will be grateful when I receive this news. I will be grateful when I get this promotion. I will be grateful when. No, it's be grateful now where you are at.
00:14:16
Speaker
no matter what is coming to you just feeling this feeling of open kind of gratitude for whatever is on the way what that does is allow your manifestations to materialize how they are meant to when we are open we are surrendering when we are surrendering we are grateful to
00:14:34
Speaker
the universe for sending us what the universe feels is right for us. So when you are stuck, right? You're trying to manifest something and you're feeling really stuck. It's not really happening in the way that you want it to. Sure. There are lots of elements that come into manifestation, but the one thing that I will very often go to is am I feeling grateful and am I actually feeling genuinely and deeply grateful because it is so important.
00:15:04
Speaker
If we are not feeling grateful, if we're tricking the universe, if we're just saying our mantra statements like, I am grateful for where I am, I'm grateful for what's coming, but we're not thinking about it, the universe is smarter than that. Our vibration is not going to be up where it needs to, to match the people, the circumstances, the exciting opportunities that we are manifesting.
00:15:25
Speaker
So what I like to do is I like to go on what I call gratitude walks. I will go and I'll put whatever music I'm vibing at the time, which is most likely Beyonce. And I will literally just say thank you for everything I'm thankful for. Thankful for things that happened when I was like five that shaped me today. Thankful for anything that comes into my head. Thankful for my eyesight because I can see the beautiful beach that I'm walking along.
00:15:49
Speaker
I will feel the gratitude and I will literally feel my vibrations rising rising rising. And then I'll move on to things that I want to manifest. I'm thankful for a beautiful home with a pool and I'll feel it and I'll see it and I'll listen to the fun music in my ear and I'll let that help me feel even better and imagine it even clearer. And by the end of the walk I am always feeling better off.
00:16:12
Speaker
from when I started the walk and it really, I think what is so crazy is I don't think there has ever been a time where I've gone on one of these gratitude walks and I haven't felt or experienced a shift
00:16:28
Speaker
the next hours or days to come and I think that's what really excites me and it shows me how quickly energy can work and we know that energy is real there is literally machines that can photograph energy leaving the body so if I go on a gratitude walk and I am feeling all of these grateful thoughts like
00:16:47
Speaker
I get to a point sometimes where I'm tearing up because I'm feeling so grateful for all of the things that I'm imagining, for the things that I have right now, for the things that I'm bringing in. My energy is like illuminating positivity, which makes it only possible to attract good things back. And it really does excite me how quickly this can change. And it really helps me in those times where
00:17:13
Speaker
I felt a bit hopeless with my manifestations. Like it's not happening. I feel stuck. And even if it is just showing gratitude to feel clearer, I'm not saying that you're going to go on a gratitude walk and manifest, you know, the job of your dreams seconds after. I mean, the cool thing is that you absolutely could and it's possible.
00:17:34
Speaker
But I'm also saying that these gratitude walks could bring clarity, could bring that little bit of hope that you need, could bring a little shift in your mood that then allows that person to open up to you. Whatever it is that you were going through, gratitude walks
00:17:51
Speaker
or if you can't get out and go for a walk, a gratitude meditation, some journaling on your gratitude thoughts will raise your vibration and unlock your mind to be open to what is supposed to come to you. It is honestly so exciting. Now, I have a couple of stories. I feel like I've told one of these stories on the podcast already, but I'm gonna tell both of them anyway, because it's always good to hear stories again. You always pick up on something different at the time,
00:18:20
Speaker
for you. So I have just realized I was sitting on the most uncomfortable chair and there was like a really comfy chair right next to that chair. Anyway, I've just swapped them and I felt the need to tell you how grateful I am for this comfortable chair. Anyway, so I back a few years ago was using the law of attraction to manifest getting a new car.
00:18:44
Speaker
I had had my previous car for 10 years. It was my first car. The petrol gauge didn't work. The air conditioning didn't work and it kept breaking down.
00:18:53
Speaker
It was literally, it was like giving me anxiety to drive. I once broke down in like the worst turning lane and this guy had to like roll me off the road. Anyway, it was bringing me lots of anxiety and all I wanted was a new car. And I was kind of getting confused and annoyed at the universe when my manifestation efforts were not paying off. This car loan was just, you know, proving really hard to get.
00:19:20
Speaker
it was like kind of during COVID so I couldn't find the car that I wanted and everything it just wasn't working out but it wasn't making sense because I was using visualization and I was you know seeing it and I was feeling it and I knew that I was deserving of this new car because I'd had the same car for 10 years and it was literally breaking down and
00:19:41
Speaker
I then realized that I was showing no gratitude for the current car that I had. And my first thought was like, yeah, well, I can't show gratitude for this car that keeps breaking down. Like it's summer on the Gold Coast. The air conditioning is not working. I'm literally like dying in this car. The petrol gauge. I never know when I'm going to break down.
00:20:02
Speaker
How can I feel grateful for this car? But what I of course then realized was that you have to be grateful for what you have right now to make room for more of what you want to materialize.
00:20:13
Speaker
So if you are not grateful for what you have right now, there is no way that you're going to manifest something better. So I began to become really grateful for my car and I would do whatever it took. So I would think back to the times where I would sit in my car and it was my safety net at auditions and I would sit in there so nervous, but I would feel so safe in my little safety bubble of this car.
00:20:39
Speaker
I thought of the times where we went to Byron Bay and the sing-alongs that we'd have, the time that my cousin and I slept in the car at this camping trip and had the funniest night of our lives. I thought about how excited I was and my little brother was when I first got the car.
00:20:56
Speaker
You know, I ended up becoming so grateful for this car that I actually didn't want to get rid of it. But of course what happened then was everything effortlessly manifested in front of my eyes. The loan came so easily. The car in the exact color and style I wanted became available an hour down the road. Everything just worked out exactly how I wanted it to. I ended up being so sad to get rid of my car, but of course I needed to. And it was just such a blessing.
00:21:25
Speaker
how it all happened. But what I realized then is my God, gratitude is so powerful within manifestation.

Lessons Learned from Gratitude

00:21:33
Speaker
And my next story, again, I might've told this already, but I'm telling it again. This is why I added the
00:21:41
Speaker
step of gratitude to my non-negotiable steps when I am manifesting because I actually had something taken away from me because I wasn't showing gratitude. So what happened was this was in the kind of stages where I was feeling really down.
00:21:56
Speaker
about acting and I was feeling really lost and unfulfilled and what I realized was I was dreaming too big. The dreams of course weren't too big in a sense that the universe saw them as too big because we know that the universe can't tell the difference between big and small. It was my mindset that was perceiving it as too big. So what I did is I thought I need to try to manifest something that I believe is achievable
00:22:22
Speaker
show myself that I can get it and then I can, you know, up my manifestations and make these manifestations bigger and more exciting in my head. Again, we've got to be careful with our words and our mindset because the bigger we think a manifestation is,
00:22:38
Speaker
the harder we may perceive it to attract and then the harder it will be to attract if we believe it's going to be hard to attract. Wow, that was a mouthful, but I hope you're following. So I decided to manifest a bit role. So a bit role basically just means like a few lines here and there on a professional production that was local, whether it was a TV series or movies or a movie, I didn't care. I was kind of surrendering whatever it was meant to be to the universe and
00:23:08
Speaker
I saw myself on set. I felt really accomplished. I was using the law of attraction. I did all the right things. And just like that, it's so beautiful when you are.
00:23:18
Speaker
actively manifesting something and it just happens. And you are reminded at how powerful this law is. Oh, it's so exciting. It literally gives me shivers. Anyway, I got a call from a casting director I'd worked with before and he was like, Cleo, we've got this role. It's really small, but it's on like this TV show that's filming at the studios. You don't even have to audition, but I thought you'd be perfect for it. And I was like, so chuffed. Oh my God. Yes, of course I want it. This is what I was manifesting, blah, blah, blah.
00:23:48
Speaker
A couple of weeks later we were at an industry party and I went up to him to say how excited I was about the role and he told me that it had been cut and to him it kind of meant nothing but to me it meant so much. I went home and I was so upset and I was really angry because the law of attraction had failed me. But then I looked back and this is what I do every time I manifest. I look back at why things maybe haven't worked out and this is how
00:24:16
Speaker
I personally get better at manifesting because I realized that, you know, that worked and this didn't and I needed to change that and blah, blah, blah.
00:24:24
Speaker
Anyway, I was so swept up in the excitement of when this casting director offered me the role that I did not sit in gratitude for a second. I was just excited and moved on and didn't even really think about it. And yeah, that was it. And I realized that my lack of gratitude, even though I felt grateful and excited,
00:24:47
Speaker
I didn't show it and I didn't really feel it and acknowledge it at all. Not in my journal, not in a prayer, not in like a meditation, nothing. I was just swept up. I was busy and off I went with my life like I didn't even care or acknowledge what the universe had just done for me. And then it was taken from me. Now the craziest bit of this story is I went home and as hard as it was, I journaled like the role hadn't been taken away from me. I journaled how excited I was and how good it like
00:25:17
Speaker
felt to be on set again and how, you know, humbled I was to not even have to audition and, you know, stepped into the version of me that still had the role, even though it was really hard because I was feeling so defeated and very triggered by what I had been like dealt with in the past through the film and television industry. But seriously, it was like the next couple of days
00:25:42
Speaker
I got the call, the role was back on, I had such a great time filming it and it made for a really, really good story and a really big realisation for me. You must show gratitude for what you manifest to keep it.
00:26:00
Speaker
and feel that gratitude and even if you haven't manifested that thing already show the gratitude and trick the universe into bringing it into your life because you are so damn grateful your vibration is raised so so high feeling like you have this thing
00:26:15
Speaker
then remember the universe it's kind of all there like imagine all the things that you want right whether it's like the partner the health the um you know the flowers the gifts the whatever it is that you want everything is already created everything already exists if you have imagined it so now all it is is a matter of that
00:26:40
Speaker
what you have imagined coming into your physical reality. It makes it seem a little bit more achievable when you put it like that, hey it's really exciting. So use gratitude to bring it into your physical reality.

Scientific Backing of Gratitude Practices

00:26:53
Speaker
So I wanted to chat about this study that I was reading and it can be really good if say you're one of those people who don't naturally lean to gratitude or who maybe you are going through
00:27:04
Speaker
some really negative stuff at the moment and gratitude does seem kind of too far or maybe gratitude seems a bit like that's not going to work for me.
00:27:13
Speaker
I definitely can hear you when you're in the depths of some really yucky stuff. Yeah, something like if someone says to you, oh, just be grateful for what you have. It's like, yeah, I'm trying, but I can't. That is totally understandable. But this study might help you just see gratitude in a different way in how it can actually affect our brain stems and cells in improving our mental health.

Speaker
So what they did is they did a study involving nearly 300 adults and they were mostly college students who were seeking mental health counseling at a university with issues related to depression and anxiety. So what they did is they randomly assigned the study participants into three groups. Although all three groups received counseling services, the first group was also instructed to write one letter of gratitude to another person each week for three weeks.

Speaker
Whereas the second group was asked to write about their deepest thoughts and feelings about negative experiences, the third group did not do any writing activity. What did they find? Well, compared with the participants who wrote about negative experiences or only received counseling, those who wrote gratitude letters reported significantly better mental health four weeks and 12 weeks after their writing exercise ended.
00:28:32
Speaker
This suggests that gratitude writing can be beneficial not just for healthy, well-adjusted individuals, but also for those who struggle with mental health concerns.
00:28:41
Speaker
In fact, it seems practicing gratitude on top of receiving psychological counseling carries greater benefits than counseling alone, even when that gratitude practice is brief. I just thought that was a really interesting article and can kind of give some of you hope where you're feeling like, gratitude isn't going to work for me, how it works for you, Cleo.
00:29:04
Speaker
Like, for example, I do tend to naturally lean to gratitude and I always have. It has always worked for me, but I want you to know that it can work for you as well. And there is so much science that backs it. It literally does release those happy hormones in our brain. And the more that we do it, the more natural it will become. And we won't have to try. And that that's the thing. Consistency really is key with gratitude.

Invitation to Gratitude Challenge and Conclusion

And I want to propose a little exercise that I am going to start on Sunday, which is when this episode will go live. And this is because it's something that I really need right now myself as well. But it's something that I thought we could do together. We can post on the community Facebook chat how we're going. I have done this before and I actually cannot remember who put me onto this challenge. It may have been Gabby Bernstein. That made me sound like
00:30:02
Speaker
like she personally put me onto this challenge like Gabby Bernstein text me and she's like hey Cleo do this challenge with me well let's just say that's what happened guys okay anyway she was doing this challenge I'm pretty sure on her website and I did it and it was like two or three years ago and what
00:30:19
Speaker
You do and just, just hear me out and please do it with me. Please challenge yourself and trust yourself and just see where this leads you. Because not only will it have you feeling really good, it will help your manifestations to materialize. I promise you.
00:30:36
Speaker
So it's write 30 things a day for 30 days that you were grateful for. As I said, I've done this, I nearly filled up a whole journal and it felt so good because I then had like these 30 pages of not, I think it was ended up being more, 30 things a day for 30 days. Yeah, that's right.
00:30:55
Speaker
And it just felt so good and positive. And what I want you to do is try your very best to not repeat anything. So not just I'm thankful for my family. So that might be the first day, but the next day, for example, it will be I am so thankful that my family
00:31:10
Speaker
you know, stuck together after we went through this really hard time. The next one might be something about your family as well, but something different. I'm thankful for the laughs I had with my family at dinner last week, whatever it is. So I challenge you to do this with me. I'm going to do it. I'm going to stick to it. I remember the benefits last time. Not only did I feel so incredibly clear, kind of invigorated on top of the world. I was vibrating high almost every single day.
00:31:39
Speaker
that lasted a very long time after and it also just made me think because you know when you get to like the 14th day writing 30 new things that you are grateful for is really hard but what it does is it allows you to get specific about different people for example that you may not feel grateful for you know in your everyday life but if you really think about it oh you know
00:32:03
Speaker
the way that colleague made me laugh or the way that stranger made me smile the other day really made my day and that can be one of the things that you write down so it really just opens your mind up to new things and new ideas and new avenues that can make you happy and grateful i promise you it's a really cool exercise i promise you it will have you feeling good
00:32:25
Speaker
And at the end of the 30 days, let's discuss what happens with our manifestations as well. Because what you'll find is that when you are vibrating high, because you're writing these 30 things a day, is that
00:32:38
Speaker
you are manifesting without actually even trying. So you might find that, you know, the people that you want come into your life. You might, life's life. You might find that you get that money or you get that promotion or you, you know, you, yeah, you find that friendship or whatever it is. So this is really exciting. Let's do it together. I hope you enjoyed today's episodes. I will do my very best to be back weekly and I will chat to you with, you know, what's been going on with me in a few weeks.
