January Challenges and February's Positive Shift

January for a lot of us, for the collective, felt really heavy, felt really sluggish, really slow. And what I have kind of found talking to people is if you are quite connected and quite spiritual, I feel like those people struggled in January. And that's not to say if if you had a great January, then great, that's amazing. And I'm not saying if you had a great January, you're not connected or spiritual, like you're not a good person, nothing nothing like that. What I'm saying is that if you...

ah I don't know why it feels like this type of person was targeted, but I think we're being tested more and I think we're more connected to the Chinese New Year than anything. So I think we are going to be moving into the year of the horse. When I say we, I'm saying the people who felt January was quite a struggle. Maybe you just felt block after block. Perhaps you felt slow. You didn't feel supported by the universe. You were hearing lots of like no's and feeling like you were kind of hitting walls. Don't fret. February, year of the horse, Chinese new year, I think is all that energy is picking up now. It's gaining momentum and then it will fully hit in February. And I truly believe, and I can already feel it, things are going to get easier.

Self-Doubt, Anxiety, and Changing Perceptions

The feelings of self-doubt that came up with the rejections and the no's and the things falling through and collapsing with this tour all in a matter of like three days at the start of the year was so intense and my anxiety completely took over. I was literally sobbing in my mum's arms going, what have I done? Like, what have I done booking these theatres? What have I done telling my smileys over the last six months about how I'm going to do this and yes, it's scary, but like, it's going to be amazing. I was about to absolutely pull the trigger and it felt absolutely awful. And my lesson in that was that giving up was not the answer.

Yes, I'm an advocate for not pushing and forcing things, but this was different. This was pure fear, not just taking over my body, but it was literally taking over my soul. And all I could see, all that my reticular activating system, which if you haven't heard me talk about but that before, it's like a, it's a, um what do they call it? A...

like a group of neurons in our brain. There's another word for it that's skipping my mind now. a Anyway, I can't remember. It's a part of our brains that show us evidence that support what we believe. So in that moment, I believed that I was a loser. I believed that I was failing. I believed that no one wanted to work with me. I believed that nothing was working out. So my reticular activating system, this part in my brain, was showing me all of the evidence to support...

those beliefs, which was bringing on the anxiety, the headaches, the pure sadness that I felt humiliated. And then what happened in the following weeks, which I'll get to was so beautiful and crazy and a reminder of why what I talk about is so real and how quickly our reality can change when we change our perception. Everything is within us. Everything that you need, every piece of wisdom, every insight is already within you. You already have access to it. And I know this can sound frustrating because you might feel so lost. You might just be lacking so much clarity right now.

And you might be like, i no, clear I don't have the answers. I've tried. But I promise you, when you get out of the depths of the beliefs that you are feeding, you will start to see clearer. So what we do is we feed people.

our beliefs, right? So our beliefs, let's think of like two sides of our beliefs. There's the beliefs, which let's say our ego and our old frequency. So I'm reading this book. Well, I finished it actually. I finished it last night. It's called outsmarting reality. My friend Beck suggested I read it and it's phenomenal. And I've learned so much. So a lot of what I'm going to say in today's episode, I'm going be kind of drawing on things from that book. So neuro is the guy's name that wrote it. um So he kind of talks about your old frequency, right? Your old frequency is the one that you are living in right now or that you've lived in for the majority of your life. The old frequency is the one that you know holds you back. You know brings fear or brings anxiety or makes you compare yourself to others or makes you sit inside and watch TV all day when you really have goals that are like to be outside and exercise or to go and socialize. That's your old frequency, right?

Then you have a new frequency, which is your desired reality. And I kind of imagine it to be the left, sorry, the old frequency on the left side of my body. And it's almost like my ego driving that. And then on the right side, now this is just personal. It can be whatever. you want it to be but this is just how i imagine it i imagine then the right side of me is like moving forward to that desired reality of mine now what we do is we have emotions in both sides so we have emotions that feed the old frequency and we have emotions that feed

the desired reality, the new frequency. Emotions want to live. Emotions want energy. So whatever energy they can get, they are like sucking it out of you. So if you imagine your old frequency, right? Let's say you're walking and you see, i don't know, you see a group of friends of your friends and you weren't invited. Um, your old frequency most likely will start bringing up all of the times you were left out in school. It will then remind you of that time you said something that you regretted when you were out with those girls. It will start to tell you that you like deserve to be left out. You can't hold onto to friends. It'll tell you all of the things that will show you all of the evidence to,

lean into that belief and to give give that belief more energy. When you are giving that belief more energy, it feeds into the frequency that you are on, which of course is a lower frequency. Now, when you are sitting on a low frequency, and if you don't know what frequencies are, think of it as a radio,

Vibrational Frequencies and the Law of Attraction

right? You're tuning in with a frequency to the station that you want. You will only get the station that you want when you tune into the right frequency. So think about frequency as a vibrational level. If you are on a low frequency, you are vibrating low. So when you're vibrating low, you're feeling hard done by, you're feeling like no one supports you, you're feeling like nothing works, you're feeling like you're not smart enough, not capable enough. That's when you're vibrating low.

So what you're doing is you're feeding those ah beliefs with emotions. What you want to do in that moment. Now, I know it's hard. Let's just say, let's use that random example. You're walking and you see your group of friends.

It's going to be very hard to feed a good frequency ah with positive emotions in that moment. right But the only person that holds the choice is you.

So I know it will take, it this is like a big example. I know it will take a lot, but what you need to do is you need to almost see them and beliefs. So sorry, emotions that would feed the good frequency beliefs would be, I have so many other beautiful friends. They probably just caught up because, you know, they live close or it was just a last minute or it was easy for them. And then Slowly but surely, you will start coming up with other ideas and proof around you being loved as a friend. So you might go home and pull the friendship card from your pass around the smile deck. You might then, you know, pick up the phone to that friend that you know and love and feel that support from her. There are so many ways that you can move away from something that is presented to you as hard as possibly a little bit heartbreaking, upsetting, um rejection.

The thing is, is, the thing is is, is, that, wow, things are happening all the time around us and we have a choice as to how we let them affect us.

When we let other people's actions, beliefs, words, energy affect us in a negative way, it's not honoring ourselves because we are letting reality control us. Now, reality, as Neuro says in this book,

is nothing more than what we make up in our mind because everyone say you're in a situation and something happens everyone sees that one thing happen but every single person in that situation is perceiving that thing differently now I think that kind of relaxes me in a sense because i guess as like an empath you kind of You don't understand why other people don't like react in a certain way or act upon something that happens in a certain way. Or you wonder why other people don't feel the same. We are all so different. We are all on a completely different level of vibration, which means we are on a completely different level of frequency.

So as I was talking about before, the levels of frequency, so your old frequency and the new frequency, your old frequency is determined by a low vibration usually, and your new frequency, which is your desired reality. So when I say your desired reality, your new frequency is that, is wherever you want to be, right?

That is determined by a good frequency, a positive frequency. Now, when you are vibrating high, when you are on a positive frequency, you are attracting other people, other the outcomes, other circumstances that are vibrating on that same frequency. Same as when you are vibrating low, you are attracting people, circumstances, opportunities, vibrating on that same low frequency. It's energy

Manifestation Techniques and Overcoming Blocks

Something else that this author talks about is the space that we create between ourselves and our desired reality. Now, what I realized when I was literally about to pull this to, I was about to cancel everything, was that I had created so much space. And how do we create space? Through importance. so when we find or feel that something is so important to us, right? Often we find something is really important when we attach it to feeling a certain way. So let's say i was attaching my desire of a successful three shows in this first leg of my past around the smile tour to a feeling of accomplishment.

So if I'm attaching my desire to a feeling of accomplishment, I want that feeling, right? Because I don't have it now. I need to have that feeling of accomplishment now as if I have just come out of the three most successful shows and had the most incredible time inspiring the audience and just feeling so fulfilled because all my smileys were there and it was it was amazing, right? I was so far away from that feeling of accomplishment though, because I was focusing on the rejection emails that I was getting from guests, from sponsors. I was feeling into that low vibration. I was feeding it by going like, yeah, you're not worthy. Like this is not working. The universe is not supporting you.

And when something is so important in that moment to me, feeling accomplished was so important. Like making this to a success was so important. I am so far away from that thing. I have put that opportunity on a pedestal and I'm way down here. So no matter how much visualization, no matter how much work I do,

actionable steps, emails, preparing the show. It's not going to work out the way that I want it to if I am so far away from it. The importance that you attach to something creates space. So what we need to do is we need to get rid of that importance. How do we get rid of that importance is essentially surrender, detach from the outcome as if it has already happened. So again, reality is what you make it.

I get to choose that my tour has already happened and has already been a beautiful, happy night for everyone and was such a success because everyone in the room felt so inspired. I get to choose that that has already happened because essentially I've thought it up. So it's already a thing, right?

I know you're probably just saying, yeah, but that thing that I've thought of, it's not in my physical reality right now. That's your perception. And I know this sounds really woo-woo and this book is a bit woo-woo, but he talks about like everything is everywhere. And he says some like number, I can't remember what it is, but it's basically like our brains and the human eye only have the ability to see like, it's like 0.000 something of what is actually out there. So i needed to collapse that importance and I needed to become almost like an equal to my desire. So I took a few days. Don't get me wrong. I didn't push away the feelings. I didn't step into toxic positivity because that would have made it worse.

I felt my feelings. I did a lot of journaling. I did a lot of card readings. I meditated. I tried to connect with my nanny waters. I did all the things and slowly but surely I started to feel a little bit better.

And I knew that the work I was putting in was starting to pay off when I got another rejection email. You might say, oh, what? You did all this work and then you got another rejection email. No, the point of it was my reaction to the rejection email. I read it.

And I was genuinely so neutral and I was like, I completely understand. I think this is actually a really good thing. Oh, when I responded like that, all of a sudden I had another idea of a sponsor who would be much better suited. And then I started to flow with that. What then snowballed has just been so incredibly enlightening and it has felt so supportive. Whether it was support, ideas, creativity, like downloads from up there, i don't know, energy around me, or whether it was support and ideas from people down here, they just started to flow. And you know what I did? I started to accept the help. i

really needed to work on knowing that I was worthy and deserving of people's help. And when I opened myself up and when I reminded myself that I am the best person to run this show, that I have put so much passion, love, and energy into Pass Around the Smile for over 10 years. This tour is on my heart for a reason. i am doing it.

So i get to believe that I am the best person for it. When I started feeding the beliefs that sat in my new reality, which was feeling really accomplished, feeling really successful, really proud, and feeling really relieved. I kept taking myself to the version of me that walked off the stage and just felt like, i just did that. I remember that feeling when I gave birth and actually in my birth video at the end of it, I'm like crying and I'm holding indigo. And I say to Luke, did I just do that? And I almost feel a similar feeling to this tour, but I feel now

now really, really truly in my body and soul that that moment has already happened. And when I convince myself with that conviction and with that passion and determination that that moment already exists, well, I know what the lead up is going to be. It is going to be fun. It is going to be enjoyable. It is going to work out. how it is supposed to. Do you see how this helps you enjoy the process to get to where you want to be? Because in your mind, you have to be there already.

Why not feel the feelings of being wealthy now or having that car now or feel the feelings of feeling healthy now? I know that can sound hard if you're not feeling healthy. How do you just imagine that you're feeling healthy? Definitely recommend reading the health section in The Secret and Googling like the law of attraction kind of tips around health, but feel the feelings now. So if you want to feel confident at work, you get to decide to change that reality for yourself. The only person dictating your reality is you. Do not let reality control you This is when you feel helpless. This is when you feel not supported. You need to let the universe know what you want loudly, boldly, and clearly because you are deserving. And then it's time to take actionable steps that feel good. A lot of the steps I was taking weren't feeling good in January. I was doing them because I was like, time is running out, limiting belief.

thoughts of lack. I was like, oh my gosh, i you know I just need to do this because I need to have sponsors on board. I need to get the ticketing up by this like time and date. And then I end up going, actually, we can move the launch date. like We moved the launch date by like three weeks. do you Did you guys notice? Or if you noticed, did you care? No. We make small things so big And I put a little post in my Facebook community and I said, on my tour, I want to talk about some of the biggest things that you think block you from your manifesting your desires. And some of the answers were so incredible. All of the answers were incredible.

But a few stuck out and they were all very similar ah around worrying and overthinking. I can definitely relate. And especially in January and February, the overthinking got so out of control that I was manifesting those, not desires, those worries into reality because I was giving them so much time and energy.

We've got to remember that when we do feel low and we do feel negative, as I mentioned before, it's okay and it's normal and you're not completely wrecking your manifestations. You're not automatically...

manifesting and attracting bad things. No, I was talking, I was on a spiral for weeks and I was on purpose, almost self-sabotaging myself by giving these beliefs energy because I wanted to feed them because I almost wanted to give up.

Like I wanted to feel sorry for myself. I was like, it was too hard to be positive. But then when I showed myself step by step, I could change. And then when my external reality started responding in really helpful people, like the the emails that I've received now, the ideas that I've received, whether it's just from myself or from other people saying, why don't you contact this person? Or like just the energy I am receiving back when I changed my thought process is absolutely amazing. It's wild and so exciting, but it reminds me of the law of rhythm. So I've talked about the law of rhythm on the podcast before, and the law of rhythm goes up and down and in and out like the ocean. It kind of states that everything that has a high has a low, everything that goes up must come down.

Sometimes this can be like, oh, because when you're feeling really good, I'm kind of telling you now that you will come down. And I'm not saying that you will have the complete opposite effect and feel like if you're feeling incredible, I'm not saying, oh, you're going to come down and feeling feel really down.

Embracing Life's Rhythms and Opportunities

Not at all. It's just that in life, we all know, like, let's be realistic. Things happen. Emotions come up. Us women, we get hormonal. um And that's natural. And I think the point of this is, is when it comes up, don't resist it.

No, don't give it a lot of attention and energy and make it bigger than it is, but don't resist it. Let it come trusting that when you are down, when you are low, and I knew this in January, I was like, I've got to come back up again. I've got to come back up again. And I did, and I'm rising and I'm continuing to rise. And I know that...

I'm not going to crash because I'm not going to let myself, I'm not going to let myself just go back to where I was in January because I don't want you to think like, oh, so when I'm good, I just get bad and then I get bad and then I get good. No, no, no. That's not what the law of rhythm says. The law of rhythm takes you and supports you along the ride of life. So you can get comfortable in that flow, trusting that it ebbs and flows and moves and that everything is temporary.

Yes, there's the part of me that's like, oh, this is only temporary. It's going to change. It's going to go away. It's not going to stay this good for that long. But I can choose to give that attention or I can choose to go, oh my God, this is so good now. I'm going to relish in it while it's good. Like this is so amazing. This is so beautiful. And I'm going to be really present.

But then when things are a little stagnant, a little off, a little frustrating, you get to remind yourself that this is also temporary. So it can work both ways. I think what I'm trying to say is your perception is absolutely everything. Your perception can change things so, so quickly. That's what I love about this work is how quickly things can change. When I made a decision, I read this book and i just It just reminded me of the power that I held. And it reminded me that I was conforming to what society says, that things like this, that I'm doing this tour, it's hard. It's big. It's for really successful people. And I will admit, I wrote in my journal once, like, I want to do a tour when I'm like 40. When I'm 40, I'll be like...

super, you know, I'll know what I'm doing. I'll feel super clear. No, we will never be ready. Feel the fear and do it anyway. If your gut is telling you to do something, my God, honor yourself and do it. Otherwise you will, you will, ro ro ro that's like the ah remix. You will regret it. Wow. Why can't I say regret?

you will regret it. Wow. Anyway, i was on a roll and then I had a good point. What was it? Something I realized and that I want to tell you guys as well so you can hold me accountable because I think this has been fun giving you guys all the behind the scenes so you're coming with me and then when you are there in the audience or maybe you you are not near the cities but you see the pictures or the videos of the show, i hope that you are reminded that you can do something just as bold. But something that I have realized and I have said it to you guys over and over is I'm so scared. This is the biggest thing I've ever done. This is huge. This is scary. And you know what that reminds me of? It reminds me of teenage c Cleo in the film and television industry who would say to everyone that would listen, it's a really tough industry. It's a really hard industry because what that did saying that it protected me when I wasn't getting the roles, when I wasn't holding the success, I would just say, yeah, but it's a tough industry. And i I think I thought it kind of got me out of the firing line of people being like, why don't you have the role? People judging me. It was a way to get out of that. But I was saying it over and over again. i was believing that it was a tough industry. So of course I wasn't getting the roles because if I believed it was a tough industry, even if I was visualizing getting the roles, those frequencies that are attached to those beliefs, do you see how they don't match up?

So same as now, I am going to make a promise to myself. I know every now and then I'm going to say things like I'm nervous because of course i'm I'm nervous. I'm nervous about a lot of things and I always want to be honest and vulnerable and open with you guys, but I am going to stop saying how big this is. I'm going to stop saying how like, this is the scariest thing I've ever done because when I'm saying that, I am pushing that desired reality far away from me. I'm creating space because it's so important. It's so big. It's so scary, right? But actually, i can do whatever I want,

Aligning Beliefs and Reality

Again, I'm allowed to say I'm nervous. I think that's okay because I am nervous and it's okay to be nervous because nervous also, nervous energy, I feel like it it means you care and I care. I care a lot, but also I don't want that care to kind of blend into that importance of I have to have this and it has to be perfect for me to be happy because when we attach any desire to, I need this and then I'll be happy. I need that money and then I'll be comfortable. I need a partner and then I'll feel loved. There is no way that you are going to get that thing because that is far, far away from you and far in front of you. You need to feel loved, safe, supported, wealthy now. How can you do that? through your imagination, through showing yourself through a visualization that you are there already. It's just energy. It's already here.

And that feels empowering. And yes, I come out of that. I came out of that just last night and I said to Luke, I'm spiraling. I need help. I'm like, I'm so scared that I'm going to just go so backwards to January because I'm just feeling like, what have I done? And I've got so much to do and I have no time. Limiting beliefs, lack, limiting beliefs, lack, limiting beliefs, lack. I have a choice.

Yes, sometimes that choice feels hard, but this is your life. You get to live it how you choose.
