Bobbo: I hope you're all ready for a spooktacular episode. Let's dive right in.

Bobbo: And I'm your host, Boo-Ob.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You were going to say, were you going say boob?

Bobbo: ah i always said I almost Boo, but I thought that's not... and That's a little interesting to me saying Boo-Ob.

Mackenzie Forgacs: A boob.

Bobbo: And I'm your host, Boo-Ob.

Mackenzie Forgacs: oh Classic, classic Bob.

Bobbo: Classic. Classic.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Welcome to NFL Week 9. We have a spooktacular episode for you all because tomorrow is Halloween. Happy Halloween, Bob.

Bobbo: Happy, happy Halloween, Mac.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You doing anything fun for Halloween this year, Bob?

Bobbo: You know what? I'm to be hanging out with a bunch of 10 and 11 year olds all day. And then going to be going to um a Halloween party tomorrow night. Ooh.

Mackenzie Forgacs: oh Oh, spooky.

Bobbo: Are you doing anything for Halloween tomorrow?

Mackenzie Forgacs: We are, yes. We are having some friends over for a little pregame action at our house, have some dips, have some drinks, and then we're going out to our favorite local DJ.

Bobbo: Play game action.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Shouts out DJ Lil Meow Meow.

Bobbo: DJ Lomiya.

Mackenzie Forgacs: She's our favorite local Asheville DJ.

Bobbo: She's huge.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We're going out seeing her, and she's also DJing. It's like a a dance party slash, uh, drag show. And it's called the dance floor slasher.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So we're going to that.

Bobbo: Whoa. Stay away from the slashers on the dance floor.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah. Yeah.

Bobbo: Holy smokes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Watch out for those slashers, but yeah, we're excited for that. i think going really fun. um yeah, it's going to be good Halloween.

Bobbo: Sounds awesome. And I actually just got a very unexpected sneak peek to Mac and Nick's costume.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: So that was a fun that was a fun way to set the episode.

Mackenzie Forgacs: She did. Or oh he did. He did. Yeah, that was great. Bob hopped on. We do all this through a platform where we can see each other. It's kind of like Zoom, but it's called Zencaster. And Bob hopped on. And Nick was walking in and in her costume, so he got a sneak peek.

Bobbo: Glinda was just standing there in the doorway and from afar, it looked like, just like an old Victorian um like dress from like the 1800s.

Bobbo: And for those who know me, know that's like my biggest fear. So I thought they were playing a prank on me. And then they Nick walked in. I'm like, oh, she's like a, like a fairy. And then I realized it was Glinda.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, yeah. Nick. Yeah, it's Glinda.

Bobbo: So a lot, a lot better is Glinda or Glinda.

Mackenzie Forgacs: ah You know, it could be either one could make an argument for either one. So yeah, they they say Glinda and then they say Glinda in the movie.

Bobbo: Okay. Cause I'm saying Glinda. I didn't know if that was right.

Mackenzie Forgacs: They say both. So Glinda, I think, is technically Glinda.

Bobbo: Okay, so...

Bobbo: um like You know what? In that case, I'm going to with Galinda.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Perfect.

Bobbo: So Nicholas Galinda then Mack put on her her green gloves.

Mackenzie Forgacs: That's great.

Bobbo: I was kind of disappointed in...

Mackenzie Forgacs: And what's the name of the witch that I am?

Bobbo: The Wicked Witch of the West.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, very good answer. Do you remember her ah her other, like her original name?

Bobbo: Ah!

Bobbo: um Aaron Rodgers.

Bobbo: I was, was,

Mackenzie Forgacs: Elphaba. We just told you was Elphaba.

Bobbo: Alphaba.

Mackenzie Forgacs: you You forgot it already.

Bobbo: Like, like I said, like I said, Alphaba.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Elphaba, yeah, perfect.

Bobbo: Yeah, see, there you go, Alphaba. Of course I did.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So now that you know we're wicked, what are are you being for Halloween?

Bobbo: I am a person, a guy on the back of a big blow-up bear, and I'm standing in the costume, so my legs are the bears, but then the big blow-up thing is the rest of the costume.

Bobbo: So I'm just a guy, I'm just a guy in the back of a bear.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I love that. You're just a guy riding a bear.

Bobbo: I'm just a guy riding a bear. Go bears, go Halloween. And my costume's not very spooky, but it's fun.

Mackenzie Forgacs: love that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hey, that's all right. doesn't need to be spooky.

Bobbo: Honestly, as long as it's fun. And you know what? How good is that? Halloween on a Friday. I remember that a couple of times when we were kids.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Classic.

Bobbo: Things that kids dream about their whole life is happening tomorrow, Friday.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Truly, you get to go out, you get to trick or treat, you get to stay up late, you get to eat your candy and you don't got to worry about school the next day. Hallelujah. Those kids and those teachers are, I'm sure, thinking they're lucky stars.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You would know.

Bobbo: Man, no kidding. Definitely but thank you the Lunky Stars. We have parent-teacher conferences on Monday, so that's a little spooky. But you know what? No kids, so bring on the parents. they're not so scary. Kids are scary.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I don't know. I think would say that the parents are scarier, but.

Bobbo: Oh, gosh, really? don't like that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: That would be my guess, but I don't know. I'm not a teacher, so.

Bobbo: I haven't had too many interactions with parents other than just like a, Hey, ha hey hello, how you doing?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, you'd have to ask Paige and Nick, but I would i would guess that that would be the answer, but.

Bobbo: Um,

Bobbo: we'll find out how spooky they are on Monday night.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We will. And speaking of spooky, we got a spooktacular episode for you all. oh the Transition Queen is back.

Bobbo: was to say, what the heck? I thought i was a tradition King though.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Well, you were the Transition King in last episode, but unfortunately couldn't post last episode um because one of us named a name that we probably shouldn't have said.

Bobbo: Why?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: Yeah, Mac, you cannot be naming names of your coworkers on there. You cannot be doing that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So we ended up keeping that one off air, but that's pretty good. Bob sang Wood by Taylor Swift. And if you know anything about Taylor Swift, you know that you missed out on a really good one. If you want that, if you want that episode sent to you privately, we can make that happen just so you can listen to Bob saying one.

Bobbo: ah Oh, we can make that happen?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, definitely.

Bobbo: Oh, stop.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Maybe I'll go through, maybe I'll go and cut that clip and post that on our Instagram or something.

Bobbo: Yeah, that sounds ah awesome. I love that. Speaking of Sunday scaries, holy smokes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: But, Oh my gosh. Yeah, that was, that was really good. You were, you were an absolute trooper for doing that, but well, you're always a trooper.

Bobbo: Thank you. I'm usually not a trooper, so that was of few. one of a few

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, yeah, no, I was, I was impressed, but okay.

Bobbo: yeah guys

Mackenzie Forgacs: So this week, our spooky episode, and sorry if you hear some background not noise, of my, my co-hosts is actually chewing on some Cheez-Its at the moment.

Bobbo: Sorry. Hey, teacher of life.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hey,

Bobbo: Couldn't wait another second.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I don't blame you. and Nick gets home and she needs a snack like right away. So I really don't blame you at all.

Bobbo: Galinda gets home and she needs some, she needs some fuel.

Mackenzie Forgacs: yeah the She definitely needs some fuel. um But okay, while you munch on those Cheez-Its, I will explain everybody what we are doing today. So in the past, if you have listened for the past couple of years, you know that for Some of these special weekends that are around holidays, we try to switch things up a little bit.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And so this year, what we are doing is we are going to go through every game and we are going to correlate each game. Ooh, correlate, big good word.

Bobbo: Really good word. Wow. Whoa.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We are going to make a correlation between each game and a Halloween-themed movie. And if you know anything about me, you know that I don't really like scary movies. So mine may not be very scary, but I've got some Halloween-themed movies on my mind.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And I did take notes on these, and Bob is ready to just go off the dome.

Bobbo: oh

Mackenzie Forgacs: So I'm extremely excited to see what you come up with and what you correlate these to. um I'm sure you're excited to see what you come up with too.

Bobbo: I literally was telling Mac that I don't have any picks made. I don't have any confidences done, which, ooh, that might be bad. but I should probably write these down. Because games start in, ooh, that's spooky, less than two hours.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, that is spooky.

Bobbo: So ah we do have to kinda kind of get going with these getting on. But, yeah, no picks, no confidences, and no movies picked out. So this is the epitome of coming unprepared. So we'll see how it goes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: This is the epitome of scary also because I'm really curious to see what you come up with. But I will let you look at that while I kick us off with our very first game. Thursday night, we've got the Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins. And for me, this game is very similar to the story of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. But instead of Beetlejuice, Lamar Jackson, Lamar Jackson, Jackson.

Bobbo: Wow.

Mackenzie Forgacs: In the story of Beetlejuice, it's a story of these this family. They die and they're haunting their own ah house. They're kind of still living in their old house that they lived in.

Mackenzie Forgacs: in And another family comes in and moves in and they need help spooking off this new family, spooking off the competition.

Bobbo: Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So they, ah, scary.

Bobbo: Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So they call on the one and only Beetlejuice tonight. The Ravens are going to call on the one and only Lamar Jackson to help pull them out of the slump that they have been in.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And i I would say maybe not a full slump because they did just win this past weekend. um Like I had predicted they would.

Bobbo: hey Whoa!

Mackenzie Forgacs: And like my co-host did not let us choose them for. um But they did just win this past weekend. Their back is against the wall. They're not fully out of it yet. But the Ravens need to basically win out if they want any chance of anything.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And they're going to call on the one and only Lamar Jackson to get that done. So they're going spook away the competition. I've got the Ravens, and I've got them at a scary high.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Ten.

Bobbo: That's spooky AF.

Mackenzie Forgacs: That is spooky AF. And I know they haven't been doing great, but on the other hand, the Dolphins, they had one kind of lightning in the bottle week this past weekend when they beat the Falcons.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Other than that, I have not seen anything really good from the Dolphins. I think they're going to be just fine. They let up so many rushing yards. You've got King Henry behind.

Mackenzie Forgacs: the ball. You've got Lamar Jackson ready to scramble. I think they're going no problem. I think they're going to run all over Miami tonight and um got them

Bobbo: You know what? I like it. I did. The only thing i did do is when I was walking back from the train, I did at least make selections. So I like highlighted in Yahoo where we do our actual Pick'em League.

Bobbo: I highlighted all the games and I also had Ravens.

Mackenzie Forgacs: at 10. Okay.

Bobbo: So that that was similar. um i don't know what I would have had them at.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Thank goodness.

Bobbo: But um you know what? Ten, we'll ah we'll start with that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay sounds good we'll put it as a 10 question mark on my little sheet here as i'm keeping track.

Bobbo: Fantastic.

Mackenzie Forgacs: All right, so you are up next for our one o'clock games I can't wait to see this, we did switch. ah Who was looking at what because we both wanted our boys so Bob you are going to take the one o'clock game, which is the Chicago bears at Cincinnati Bengals.

Bobbo: course.

Bobbo: what

Bobbo: There's nothing spooky about this game. The only thing that's going to be spooky is how Cincinnati is going to handle their loss at home. bomb bomb so Yeah, as Mac alluded to, Sunday was not ah a ton of fun for for me or my dad who came to Chicago to celebrate his birthday with his son. And for the second straight year, we were together watching the game and the Bears made us sad. So sorry, dad, if you're listening in, which I know you are because you're a supportive father.

Bobbo: I'm really sorry that the Bears had to ruin your birthday. But nevertheless, this movie really, and just this team in general, it kind of reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is, in fact, contrary to popular belief, a Halloween movie.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hmm.

Bobbo: if you say If you think it's a Christmas movie, try again. Die Hard, not a Christmas movie. Harry Potter, not a Christmas movie. Nightmare Before Christmas, not a Christmas movie.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hmm.

Bobbo: It's a Halloween movie. And the reason I say this is because, yeah, last Sunday was kind of a nightmare for not only the Bears, but also the Bengals. We lost to the Ravens without Lamar.

Bobbo: The Bengals lost to the Jets without. That's just a nightmare in itself.

Mackenzie Forgacs: speak

Bobbo: Jets got their first win in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Wolf. Yikes. Ah! The Bears lost to the Ravens without Lamar.

Bobbo: Ah! Yikes. Ah! Ah! Really scary stuff. But the Bears are still 4-3. The Bengals have Joe Flacco. They just lost the worst team. There's zero there's zero synchronicity. Great work.

Bobbo: Thank you. Yes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Great word.

Bobbo: Zero synchronicity, zero vibes. Joe Flacco, you can tell he's got one foot out the door now. The Bears have a young squad. Ben Johnson, he's kind of like the puppet master. I'm not going use two Halloween movies at once, but I also could have used you know something with Saw. He's like the guy pulling the strings in the background.

Bobbo: But Caleb Williams at helm. Gosh, I have all the Halloween movies popping in my head. we give be

Mackenzie Forgacs: I know. you're

Bobbo: We could be hocus pocus as well.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Don't spend all of them. Don't spend all of them here.

Bobbo: Okay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Just stick to night before Christmas.

Bobbo: This is the nightmare before Christmas. Yes. Last year was the last weekend was a nightmare. This weekend is going to be Christmas for my boys because we're going to reopen the present of Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.

Bobbo: Christmas is going to be saved. Halloween um will be a thing of the past in a couple of days. And I think it's a pretty, appropriate name of the movie because not only is it this game played on November 2nd, which is Christmas season, um but the bears will also be going from their nightmare to happiness. So I got the bears um and I'm gonna say, I'm going go ah bears for nine.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You're kidding me.

Bobbo: I couldn't be less kidding if I tried ma'am.

Mackenzie Forgacs: For nine.

Bobbo: Yeah. yeah

Mackenzie Forgacs: You guys just lost to the Ravens, who did not have Lamar Jackson.

Bobbo: Ah, spooky. Please don't say that anymore.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And the Ravens, I'm sorry, do not have a very good defense.

Bobbo: Hey, I'm so sorry.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I, yeah.

Bobbo: but was this Was this my game or was that? i'm I'm so sorry. I can't remember.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, this is your game, but I'm allowed to rebuttal, am I not?

Bobbo: Yeah, I guess so. It's kind just if it's against the bears, I like to create my new rules.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Or are there new rules for this week?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: But yeah, I'm so sorry.

Mackenzie Forgacs: saying all that I did still choose the bears, but I have them super low because honestly, I don't, I've lost a lot of faith in them. And it also could just be being bitter because I literally said last week, I was using my veto.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I'm whipping her on my cord right now.

Bobbo: Geez.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I was using my veto on that game and I wanted to choose the Ravens and you took advantage. I was in Disney world. And Bob took advantage of my happiness, and we ended up switching to the Bears.

Bobbo: Well...

Mackenzie Forgacs: So, and I, and you know what?

Bobbo: well

Mackenzie Forgacs: I only have myself to blame for that. So, I ain't putting my foot down and not dealing with this any longer. still can go Bears, but we got to go with them low.

Bobbo: ah How low are we talking?

Mackenzie Forgacs: I have the Bears for two.

Bobbo: Oh, gosh. We'll put, and I'm going to put nine question marks is what I'm writing. That's what I'm writing down.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You're You are ridiculous. I cannot do anything with you.

Bobbo: That is.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Next year, I want to submit my own confidence.

Bobbo: No, you cannot do that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I do. i want my own team next year.

Bobbo: Well, I want a lot of things I'm not going to get. um And we'll talk off air.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, like the Bears at nine, you're not going to get that.

Bobbo: Hey.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Sorry, but this is Cole for your Christmas.

Bobbo: It's not a Christmas movie. It's Halloween movie.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We're still picking the Bears, so you're welcome, but we I would like to go for them a little.

Bobbo: Hey, you.

Mackenzie Forgacs: But anyway, let's move along to a team that we're going to put really, really high this week.

Bobbo: Okay. You know what? I'll take what I can get

Bobbo: get. Gosh.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We have the Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions.

Bobbo: is going to be good.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And it very well could be because we just watched this movie last night, but this is probably my favorite Halloween movie. If you know me, you know that Halloween is not really my thing, to be honest.

Bobbo: a

Mackenzie Forgacs: I'm not like a huge, this is going make me sound like such a Scrooge, but I'm not like a huge holiday person in general. Nikki has definitely made me more of a Halloween person, or I mean ah holiday person in general. But anyways, Halloween is like, meh, it's fine.

Bobbo: ah

Mackenzie Forgacs: I don't really like scary movies. I don't really like a lot of them, but this movie actually really do like. It's called Practical Magic. Have you ever seen it?

Bobbo: I have not seen that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, great movie.

Bobbo: Look up.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, classic names. They're actually making a new one. It's coming out next year, so stay tuned.

Bobbo: wow

Mackenzie Forgacs: We just watched it last night. It's a really good movie. um Basically, it's a story of this family of witches that they get cursed, and anybody who falls in love with them suffers an untimely death.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And as a Lions fan, and somebody who has been in love with a team, feel like I've suffered repeated deaths throughout my 32 years of watching a team that has struggled, that has struggled, that has struggled,

Mackenzie Forgacs: And in the end, obviously, the curse is broken and you can fall in love. I feel like my curse has been broken these past three years. I love the Lions. I am not suffering a death. They are doing a phenomenal job this year.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And I think they're going easily stand roll over the Vikings, who... I will add, have J.J. McCarthy coming back into this game.

Bobbo: Whoa. whoa

Mackenzie Forgacs: Also in Practical Magic, the villain is this bad guy who dies and he gets brought back to life. J.J. McCarthy is trying to come back to life. He's trying to be resurrected. I just don't think he has it in him. He was out all last season, got injured again, has been out most of this season.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I just don't think he's going to do very good against a Lions defense who, knock on wood, has actually been pretty darn good. So I've got the Lions. I've got them at 12. 14 is

Bobbo: Whoa. And what's the highest we can go this this week?

Mackenzie Forgacs: fourteen is the highest.

Bobbo: Okay. She's got Lions at 12. Practical magic. Repeated deaths. There was a lot that was going on there. um Yeah, i mean, I'm definitely not going to disagree with you.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Uh-huh.

Bobbo: Vikings looked really bad. And Lions have been good. So, yeah, i'm I'm totally good with another division foe who's actually behind the Bears in the standing.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And

Bobbo: Whoa, whoa. I'm losing again.

Mackenzie Forgacs: and they'll continue to be this weekend, so you're welcome.

Bobbo: You know what? We'll we'll be on the same the the same ship for this game. I got lines for sure.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Sweet. Perfect. All right, i'm going to go ahead and put 12 exclamation points.

Bobbo: but I'm writing um writing three. I'm actually midway writing three question mark. but Sorry.

Mackenzie Forgacs: All right, next game up, we have the Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots.

Bobbo: Hmm. This one brings a lot of emotions right to The forefront. um It reminds me of the Super Bowl back in, what was it, 2017 when the Falcons were famously up 28-3 and failed to close that game out.

Bobbo: um

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oof.

Bobbo: And the the immediate movie that's coming to mind here, and like I said, this is all this is all just on a whim, ah seat of my pants, is Halloween. Michael Myers.

Bobbo: um pum Bum, bum, pu bum bu bum, bum, pu bu bu pum bum.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Pah, pap, pap, pap, pap.

Bobbo: bu bup And for those who know this movie, it is the epitome of the holiday, the Halloween holiday.

Mackenzie Forgacs: but

Bobbo: um The music is epic. The scene of Michael Myers calmly walking is epic. And when I think of Halloween movies, I think of Halloween.

Bobbo: When I think of Halloween, I think of Michael Myers. And when I think of Michael Myers, I think of the New England Patriots. This is a Frickin' team. Excuse my French. Sorry, Daystar colleagues.

Bobbo: This is a frickin' team that you just cannot kill. Hit them down once, they get back up. Shoot them in the frickin' chest 700 times, they get back up.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh.

Bobbo: Patriots have been down for a couple years. Michael Myers, between the fifth and sixth movie, is down for many years. But you know what Michael Myers and the Patriots have in common? They just keep on standing up and walking at their prey.

Bobbo: The Falcons were their prey back in 2017 during the Super Bowl, and the Falcons are going to be their prey at 1 p.m. EST, 12 p.m. CST this Sunday.

Bobbo: The Patriots are back. They had three three years off.

Mackenzie Forgacs: oh

Bobbo: Now they're sitting at six and two Drake May is at helm. Tom Brady, Drake May. um They went from freaking Bill Belichick to now Mike Brable. And just like Michael Myers, the Patriots are back from the ashes, and they are haunting teams left and right.

Bobbo: Falcons are going get stabbed in the chest this week. I got the Patriots, and I have got them at 11-1. eleven

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, okay. I love it. I have the Patriots as well, and I have them at nine. So very, very close.

Bobbo: Pretty good.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Pretty good. Great. I love that. Michael Myers.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I've never seen that. Is that a scary movie? I imagine it is.

Bobbo: You've never seen Halloween with Michael Myers?

Mackenzie Forgacs: No, sorry.

Bobbo: That is the number one Halloween movie.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: I've seen it three times this season alone. And there's like eight.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Have you seen, really? Have you seen the most recent one with like Jamie Lee Curtis, right?

Bobbo: <unk>

Bobbo: When she's like in her elderly years.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: i met Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Aren't there like four, four, eight?

Bobbo: There's like eight.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Holy crap.

Bobbo: Yeah. There was like many years that I've seen every single one of them many times over.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Do you, have you seen all of them?

Bobbo: And I saw to answer your question.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Do you have a favorite?

Bobbo: um The first one's my favorite because it does the whole backstory it's really creepy. The most recent one I saw in theaters back like three years ago on Halloween with a buddy. um So yes, I've seen them.

Bobbo: um You should see them and shout out, you know, and that Jamie Lee Curtis is the main character. Good job.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh yeah. Yeah. I, uh, I remember seeing like, um, what's called? Trailers for them. So I remember seeing that she was, like you said, in an older age, she was in her older age and, um, she was,

Bobbo: Yeah.

Bobbo: She was, she's in her. Yeah. She's yeah. Sorry, Jamie. Sorry, James.

Mackenzie Forgacs: and yeah. And I remember seeing that she, uh, she was in that song. She's in all of them.

Bobbo: She's the first one came out like the seventies and she's like a very young, like 20 something year old. And now she's yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, wow. Okay.

Bobbo: Now she's in her, you know, other years and she's still rocking the Halloween movies.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, got it. Good to know.

Bobbo: I'm going to look up the year of the first Halloween movie as you siphon us to the next one.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, as I move into the next game. Perfect. All right, so moving into the next game, we have the Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And for me, this game reminds me of Frankenstein, and I'll tell you why that is. So the Chargers, they have had a lot of injuries this year already, and they've kind had to piece themselves together using anything they could, backups, second line, third line, anything they could do to try and come in and get wins.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And honestly, it has been pretty. They had a little bit of a downfall in the middle of the – why did I just say that with a – a little downfall in the middle of – a little downfall in the season when they lost to the New York Giants and the Commanders.

Bobbo: They had

Bobbo: a little... Yeah, they... They were swimming with the fishies for a couple weeks.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Ha ha!

Bobbo: They a little downfall.

Mackenzie Forgacs: It was a downfall when they went to New York and they lost.

Bobbo: Where did that come from? You were in New Jersey this weekend?

Mackenzie Forgacs: I have no idea.

Bobbo: I'm still in New Jersey.

Mackenzie Forgacs: i have no idea. I'm at the New Jersey. Anyways, they had a bit of a downfall in the middle when they lost.

Bobbo: Ha, ha, ha.

Mackenzie Forgacs: A couple of games, couple of brutal games due to injuries. They have now kind of found themselves. They've got some of their original guys back off of those injuries. They've found themselves and they have turned this ugly mess of piecing things together into a beautiful, very efficient offense that I think is going to have no problem running over ah very poor performing Titans team.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So I think that this game is pretty handedly going to the Chargers. I got them for

Bobbo: woa

Bobbo: And that was chargers over them. i'm So sorry.

Mackenzie Forgacs: at Titans.

Bobbo: Yep. You know what? I liked that a lot. I also had chargers and I for sure agree with the double digits. So we are, we're on the same boat boat that Frankenstein is for sure going to be having a fun weekend.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, perfect. So you've already chosen 11. So do you want to put, and well, you've also already chosen 12.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So we'll put 13 there for you for Bob.

Bobbo: Great. 13 for, for nice 13 for chargers. Perfect. Yay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: No, maybe we should do nine. No, wait, I don't know what, what,

Bobbo: I got, I got nine on the bears.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh yeah. Okay. So maybe it needs to be eight because I think you're going want to save your 11 and 12 a couple later games.

Bobbo: Oh, interesting. Well, we'll see about that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Or wait, sorry. 11 and 14. definitely think you're going to want to save.

Bobbo: You think so? Okay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I do.

Bobbo: We'll find out next time on making ways.

Mackenzie Forgacs: All right. Next up we have the, oh wait, did you find the original year?

Bobbo: 1978 was the first movie. The most recent was years of ah apart from movies.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Wow, this has been a franchise going along for a very long time.

Bobbo: That's pretty crazy. um And just to give everyone um an updated age on Jamie Lee Curtis, she is 66.

Mackenzie Forgacs: they're smoked.

Bobbo: I really take back what I said because my my own parents are are older than that. So Jamie, you're still crushing it. You got many, many, yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Still a young buck.

Bobbo: Many movies left to be made. Great actress.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Great actress, great actress.

Bobbo: We love you, Jamie.

Mackenzie Forgacs: All right, next up, we have the San Francisco 49ers at the New York Giants. And, you know, back in New York.

Bobbo: i was like, wait, what is what is happening here? And folks, the New Jersey accent.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And, Bob, will you tell us what you picked for this game?

Bobbo: Yeah, I think I can't do that. i said, you know what? Yeah, I think I can do that. The Niners versus the Giants. And when I'm thinking of this game, ah lot's come into my mind. And I'm definitely not just kind of...

Bobbo: um kind of trying to buy some more time to think of one, but one just caped up what came to my mind.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: So no offense, Eli, we had a bet going on last week's fantasy. I lost. I still need to send him a picture of me doing a headstand somewhere in public. Got to figure out how to do that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: In public, that's so good.

Bobbo: Got to figure out how to do that one. um

Mackenzie Forgacs: He comes up with the most random bets, and I love it I love it so much.

Bobbo: It's great. And i I usually lose. And then I'm sitting here thinking, yeah, where does it fit?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Didn't you have to, like, eat only apples for a whole day or something like that?

Bobbo: He had to eat only apples for a day. I did win that one. And at the end of the day, i'm like, brother, just, you, you, you just enjoy. He's like, can I do cider? Can I do this? And I'm like, you do whatever you need. So he's always really good.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And then there was also, wasn't there like an oatmeal for a day or something?

Bobbo: That's what it was. It was oatmeal. about o

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh.

Bobbo: ah

Mackenzie Forgacs: Are you okay? That actually looked real.

Bobbo: That was a hundred percent. no My eyes are watering. I like oatmeal thinking about eating that consistency for a whole day, a whole day really

Mackenzie Forgacs: my God, Bob, stop.

Bobbo: I don't like the thought of that. I'm so sorry. that was That was a scary thought.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, that was scary watching you almost throw off.

Bobbo: Nice.

Bobbo: Yeah, that was scary feeling myself almost bomb.com. But speaking of Eli, we played last week and Eli's had an up and down season for sure. Fantasy's winning. Giants are having a ball and all of sudden in comes the Texas Chainsaw Massacre right after their star running back's ankle.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh,

Mackenzie Forgacs: Scataboo!

Bobbo: Have you seen that video?

Mackenzie Forgacs: That is disgusting.

Bobbo: It's actually disgusting. I don't know why people were just free willy posting that on Instagram for people to see a man.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I have seen it. His foot is literally sideways. It is so messed up.

Bobbo: It was disgusting. I don't know how that happens. I don't know how you recover from that. But then again, Hutchinson's leg last, October. her Now he's doing his thing.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, also was sideways.

Bobbo: So yeah, that was speaking of fright.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Brutal.

Bobbo: I was very frightened and a little nauseated when I saw that picture, but I think I'm thinking of the Texas chainsaw massacre because it feels like in our adult lives and unfortunately Eli's adult life, everything that can and will go wrong for the giants pretty much does.

Bobbo: And you know what, for a couple of weeks there, people are like, wow, this New York giants team is fun to watch. They've got

Mackenzie Forgacs: Mm-hmm.

Bobbo: are They've got Skadabo.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Scadaboo!

Bobbo: They've got Malik Neighbors. Malik Neighbors, torn ACL, MCL, out for the season.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Down.

Bobbo: Skadabo, what I assume is a shattered ankle, out for the season.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Down.

Bobbo: On the other side of the ball, another team that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is just obsessed with, the Niners. Oh, Purdy, smack.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Out.

Bobbo: Brr, brr, brr, brr,

Mackenzie Forgacs: one

Bobbo: That was pretty good. Thank you.

Mackenzie Forgacs: That was good.

Bobbo: Just left and right, Bosa out. Their linebacker, ah Warner out for the season.

Mackenzie Forgacs: McCaffrey constantly hurt.

Bobbo: Jawan Jennings missed games. Kittle missed games.

Mackenzie Forgacs: as As Nick will tell you.

Bobbo: Yes, McCaffrey loves getting attacked by the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. So while the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which was based off real events, scary, used to really torment a random Texan town in the middle of nowhere, this...

Bobbo: In this example, Chainsaw Massacre loves to torture these two teams. But, alas, I diverge. um Out of the two teams, one does find a way to win through um Chainsaw Massacres, and that's the Niners.

Bobbo: One has has not done as gracefully through the injuries, and that's the Giants.

Mackenzie Forgacs: That's

Bobbo: That's why all that to say, Giants head.

Mackenzie Forgacs: fine.

Bobbo: That was me chopping.

Mackenzie Forgacs: laugh

Bobbo: That is me chopping the Giants head off with a chainsaw.

Mackenzie Forgacs: oh

Bobbo: And that's a – that was a giant's head smashing against the ground.

Mackenzie Forgacs: oof

Bobbo: I've got the Niners. I've got them pretty hefty, hefty, hefty at – I'm like emoting right now. They're just words coming out of my mouth. I've got them at eight over the Giants.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, okay. All right. I love the, um, well, I think actually you picked the pats at eight, but that's okay.

Bobbo: Perfect. Perfect. I'm going to go 12. twelve

Mackenzie Forgacs: What? Okay. hey He's going to go with, wait, you, you have the lions at 12. Ding,

Bobbo: Awesome. We'll go seven for the Niners.

Mackenzie Forgacs: ding, ding.

Bobbo: Yeah, let's go. Come on.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, I just got to keep saying no until you get to the one I picked. I'm just kidding.

Bobbo: We can do, we can get like seven more ding, ding, dings. If we keep doing that. I love it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, perfect. Yes, I also have the 49ers, and I have them at 7, so that's great.

Bobbo: Boom. Seventh heaven.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I love that you went from 8 to 12.

Bobbo: You know, sometimes you just got to take, you know what and chuck it against the wall and and see what sticks, see what sticks.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Just full send. Just absolutely send it. Oh, my God. That's so good. Okay. Next up, we have the Indianapolis Spooky Spooky Colts at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah.

Bobbo: When you said spooky, spooky, well, it sounded like you had a mouthful of oatmeal. spookoo Spooky, spooky.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Spooky, spooky cats.

Bobbo: They are spooky, though. I like that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And I asked Bob earlier if I could switch this game specifically for the movie that I was thinking of for this one. And I'll tell you what it is. Buckle up. This movie, or this game, reminds me so much of Hocus Pants.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hocus Pocus!

Bobbo: i wanted to use that one

Mackenzie Forgacs: Sorry! Stole it, and I'm gonna tell you why. If you have never seen Hocus Pocus, oh, also we should probably have caveated in the very beginning or made a note.

Mackenzie Forgacs: If you want to see any of these movies, we're like telling you what happens, so sorry.

Bobbo: Oh gosh. Spoilers incoming.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Spoiler alert. But if you've never seen Hocus Pocus, or if you have, you would know that this is a story of three witches, basically, the Sanderson sisters, and that are trying to live forever. And the way they try to live forever is to suck youth out of children's souls and suck it out and make them younger.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And you know who else is trying to reclaim their youth but just isn't getting there? Aaron Rodgers! He's trying to reclaim his youth in Pittsburgh. He's trying to keep things going. They've done okay, and but happening, buddy.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You're 41 years old. It's clearly showing...

Bobbo: sorry

Mackenzie Forgacs: Bob just chatted me.

Bobbo: a

Bobbo: it

Mackenzie Forgacs: God, that's so distracting. Bob just chatted me and said the Sanderson sisters.

Bobbo: a

Mackenzie Forgacs: He said the Sanderson sisters are biatches.

Bobbo: They are sorry. I watched that movie the other night and they're so mean.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, they are biatches. Anyway. Okay, you gotta bounce back. You know who else is a biatch? Aaron Rodgers.

Bobbo: Yeah, nice transition.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, man. He's trying to get resurrected. He's trying to keep things going with this other team. Maybe they'll get to 500 the way Mike Tomlin always does, but I just don't think it's happening for him. He's not reclaiming his youth.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Max Dennison took down those Biatch Sanderson sisters, and Danny Dimes is going to take down that Biatch Aaron Rodgers this weekend.

Bobbo: yeah

Mackenzie Forgacs: I got the Colts. I got them 6. sick

Bobbo: six okay also you know the character's name that took them down what was his name

Mackenzie Forgacs: Max Dennison, I think.

Bobbo: Oh my gosh. I can't, I just watched this the other day and I would have, you debt I do remember that Danny.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And then the sister is Dani.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I don't remember the girlfriend's name, though.

Bobbo: That, yeah, I don't know that one. I'm i'm impressed that you knew Max.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah. It's a good movie.

Bobbo: Danny. Well, spoiler alert. Great movie. Awesome comparison. That was, that was worth the switch up.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Thank you.

Bobbo: i wouldn't have used.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I... I was thinking through movies earlier and I was like, oh, Hocus Pocus is such a classic.

Bobbo: Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And I was like, how can I relate this to anybody? And I was like, oh, I need somebody old. And I was like, oh my God, Aaron Rodgers.

Bobbo: You're like freaking perfect. That was kudos to you.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right. oh Let's see what we have here. Next game in the one o'clock slate is the Denver Broncos taking on the Houston Texans.

Bobbo: Hmm.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And this is in Houston.

Bobbo: Broncos at Texans. Huh. How do I compare this to a Halloween movie? Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Well, when I'm thinking of a Broncos team, that's a team that is absolutely full of youth.

Bobbo: They've got Bo Nix. They've got J.K. Dobbins. They've got young receivers galore. They've got young tight end, and they've got a young defense. So I'm thinking of this Broncos team that's kind of been crap for the last couple of years. Not crap last year, but right before Peyton got there as the coach.

Bobbo: And all of a sudden they've got these kids left and right, just taking the, taking the reins and ah movie I think of children of the corn.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, spooky.

Bobbo: These very spooky.

Bobbo: but did You did roast Aaron. Now Max has sent me a chat and said, Nick just texted me and said, sorry, explicit. Holy shiz. You roasted Aaron. Yep, sure did.

Bobbo: posting him So when I think of the Broncos, I love it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I was like, sorry, I'm being so loud.

Bobbo: I love it. When I think of the Broncos, I think of children because they're in their early 20s, most of the team. I think on paper, they're one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Children of the Corn.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: I don't know if you've ever heard of this movie or this concept.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Heard of it, never seen it.

Bobbo: Scary AF. Spooky. Spooky. uh, disturbing, messed up. And basically it's these children that live in corn, uh, corn stalks, like a big corn field. And they have decided to, um, take over their like area.

Bobbo: They were sick of being told what to do by silly teachers and parents and, um, you know, just adults in general. So they started killing adults and dragging them into the cornfield. So they became the children of the corn.

Bobbo: broncos were kind of like these nice, oh, it's okay, it's okay pal, pat on the head. It's ah it's okay, Buster. yeah You're just a kid. Now all a sudden these kids, you know, they're taking names and not in a not in a very kind way to the teams that they're beating.

Bobbo: So I like to think of them bragging the Texans into the cornfield this weekend, disposing of their bodies by eating them super-

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: irby lee And that's why I've got the Broncos going into Houston. Houston, we got a problem. Stay away from the cornfields. And I've got the Broncos at, what have I not used?

Bobbo: Seven. Sorry, six.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Holy crap. Holy crap. Okay.

Bobbo: How was that one?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, that was great. That was great. That's just very high. um Well, I guess not very high, but higher than mine. I also have the Broncos. It being in Houston scares me a little bit.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Broncos defense, though, has been absolutely feasting, like you said. I think they're going to be fine.

Bobbo: please

Mackenzie Forgacs: I just have them at three. just have them a little lower.

Bobbo: Okay. Okay. I like it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: We'll meet in the middle. Six question mark.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Perfect. Sounds great. Um, this is, okay, the last one o'clock game on the slate for Sunday is the Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Oatmeal Packers.

Bobbo: Oh,

Mackenzie Forgacs: And when was thinking of this game, I was trying to think of a movie in which the bad guy ends up winning. In a lot of movies, as you know, the good guy wins, right? The hero, the heroine, they end up winning.

Mackenzie Forgacs: In this game, unfortunately, do think the bad guy is going to win. And so I was trying to think of a movie in which the bad guy wins. And I don't know if this is a Halloween movie, but it's one of a few scary movies I've seen.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And it is a movie called Seven. Have you ever seen the movie Seven?

Bobbo: never seen seven.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You've never seen Seven. Okay, so the premise of Seven i is that there's these two detectives. It's Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. And they are trying to track down a serial killer.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And the serial killer's goal is to complete seven murders or have seven deaths that are related to the seven deadly sins. So like greed, lust, all those things.

Bobbo: Oh, you know what? I have seen this. It's super messed up.

Mackenzie Forgacs: It's super messed up. And again, it's one of the only scary movies I've seen.

Bobbo: Hate it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So that's why that's the reason I thought of it. Don't know if people classify it as Halloween, but Halloween's scary and this is scary. In the end, he ends up kind of winning, quote unquote, because the seventh death is his and it's based on wrath, which is one of the seven deadly sins. And the detective, again, sorry, spoiler alert, the detective kills him to get like vengeance, basically.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And so he completes what he was setting out to do. So he kind of wins in a way. And don't love that. Don't love when the bad guy wins at all. Unfortunately, I think that's going to happen again on Sunday because the Packers, I do foresee them winning. This is at home for them.

Mackenzie Forgacs: They have a lot on the line with trying to maintain at the top of and NFC North. And I've got the Packers against a Panthers team who has shown flashes of greatness, but honestly, overall, I don't think is a very good team.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I've got the Packers at a very scary high 13%. thirteen

Bobbo: Dang it. You know what? I think I agree. Looking at all the games in front of me now, i think that might be the game that um I feel the most confident in. Dang it. That's scary.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay, so is that your 14?

Bobbo: Yeah, I think that might be my 14. That's scary.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: I hate that.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Scary.

Bobbo: Speaking of scary, this is a Halloween episode and i hate to jump the gun on you here, but I know we're about to go from the one o'clock to the four o'clock windows.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: So I love for you to give us our first scary, monster, ghostly ad of the week.

Mackenzie Forgacs: All right. Our first scary monster ghostly album.

Bobbo: but you already like sp You're already like swaying around before you even say anything.

Mackenzie Forgacs: trying to hype up.

Bobbo: Man.

Mackenzie Forgacs: trying to hype up. Our first ad for this spooktacular Halloween episode of week nine of the NFL of 2025-2026 season

Bobbo: Man.

Mackenzie Forgacs: is Spirit Halloween.

Bobbo: Oh.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Have you gotten your costume yet for Halloween?

Bobbo: Uh huh. Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: If you haven't, come on down to Spirit. We've got Spirit. Yes, yes, we do. We've got Spirit. How about you? We have ghosts and goblins too.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Don't forget to say boo! Spirit Halloween! Available for all of your costume needs. Face paint, fake blood, witch's hats, and anything else you could ever dream of in your worst nightmare.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Come on down to Spirit Halloween at your local mall. See you soon.

Bobbo: that was pretty good. That was pretty good. ah was like, God, ah she's done. And then you went again. Like, she's still...

Mackenzie Forgacs: I always just keep going.

Bobbo: was like, she's still doing it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: always just keep going.

Bobbo: And then you step down. was like, she's going again. Local mall. Interesting. I don't know if I've ever seen a Spirit Halloween...

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, I don't know.

Bobbo: yeah

Mackenzie Forgacs: You know how they like, I feel like they take over. I saw this meme one time and it said like, Spirit Halloween is perfectly branded because they, like, try to resurrect, um like, old K-marts or, like, those old buildings that are, like, totally dead and they, like, possess those, basically.

Bobbo: Yes.

Bobbo: Yes. yeah They'll take over like a shoe carnival or something. And then all a sudden they'll be in there.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, exactly. And so, yeah.

Bobbo: And then November 1st, it's like they're never there.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Never there.

Bobbo: Spooky.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: Hey, thanks for ah for first sponsoring this for Halloween. I know you'll be out of business in two days. um Well, I do have my costume, so we will not be coming in.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, okay. Well, if anybody doesn't, come on down.

Bobbo: we'll We'll see you next. Yeah, we'll see you next October.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, maybe a little late. We probably should have put them on the past few, few episodes.

Bobbo: Well, you know what? There's probably a lot of people that still don't know what they want to be. You've got, I'd say at this point, 20 hours or so. So you you might as well get get get to step into your local mall.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Get to step in. Get to step in the spirit.

Bobbo: Get to step in.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Alright, kicking us off for the four o'clock games, we have the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Las Vegas Raiders.

Bobbo: Raiders. um You said it's the Jags versus the Raiders.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yep, the Jacksonville Jags versus the Las Vegas Raiders. And this is in Las Vegas.

Bobbo: Yeah. of these teams. Both of these teams stink.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: Yeah. You know what? I'm trying to think of like a movie to compare to these two and I'm having a really tough time. So I'm just going to go with the shining because both of these teams are kind of just dead beats.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh.

Bobbo: You know, it's, it's like, sorry, Las Vegas in Jacksonville.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh.

Bobbo: You got, the Raiders who just straight up stink. And you got the Jags. And the Jags are like that uncle that you just don't want to talk to at the holidays, but he always somehow ends up cornering you by the the stuffing and the cranberry sauce.

Bobbo: That's what the Jags are. And the Jags are always kind of competitive and they keep chipping away and chipping away. And just like in the movie, have you seen The Shining?

Mackenzie Forgacs: I have not.

Bobbo: Just quick spoiler alert, The Shining is based in Colorado, in the rocky Rocky Mountain National Park. There's a massive...

Mackenzie Forgacs: Wait, i've seen we've seen the hotel.

Bobbo: um Yeah, that it was based in that hotel. The movie actually takes place, and people do say that that hotel in real life is extremely haunted.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah.

Bobbo: So that's where it was filmed.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, we've been, I've been there actually.

Bobbo: There you go. So you've been to the scene of the the crime. um

Mackenzie Forgacs: And that's the one where the kids ride in the tricycle down the hallway.

Bobbo: It sure is. um Oh, Red Room. Red Room. Which is...

Mackenzie Forgacs: murder

Bobbo: She's going, yeah, that's Murder Spelled Backroom, the girls are...

Mackenzie Forgacs: no i said that i said murder murder

Bobbo: Oh, they said, yeah. i was like, oh, nice. um So in that movie, the dad, he's trying to write a book and they get snowed in. So it's literally just him, his wife and their small child um in this entire hotel because they're snowed in and the dad just starts going crazy and, and hotel is haunted so he starts to all of a sudden to see things and then he tries to kill his wife and son super spooky ending and then there's a super famous scene where the wife's hiding in the bathroom and the dad jack nicholson um is trying bash us through the door with a with a with a uh a machete or pickaxe what do we call it

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh yeah, he bashes through the door.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Axe.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Like an ax.

Bobbo: Yeah, an axe. Thank you. He bashes through the door with an axe and goes, here's Johnny. This Sunday it's going to be, here's Lawrence. Because he's always just bashing away, bashing away, bashing away.

Bobbo: And he's not great. No. And in the end, the dad does get defeated. He dies of frostbite. In the end, Lawrence and the Jags will die of frostbite. They're not making the playoffs. but they will succeed in getting through the door, which is the the Raiders. So I got, man, that was that was a push.

Bobbo: I got the Jags. I've got them at a spooky height. Five.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Ooh, ding, ding, ding, ding.

Bobbo: Yes. Yes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Love to hear it. um Yeah, okay. I was, think I was falling on that one.

Bobbo: Yeah, that that that was a really roundabout way, but we got there.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Hey, that's okay. We got there. They're they're pushing through. They're slamming through the door. And the Raiders are just the door.

Bobbo: They're slamming through the dang door.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And I agree.

Bobbo: yes thank you thank you for following somebody agrees was gonna say something's happening right there

Mackenzie Forgacs: They're just going to axe them.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, no problem. No problem at all. so Someone's going wild behind me.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Alright, so what do you think? Should we move on to the next game? We should, she says.

Bobbo: yes

Mackenzie Forgacs: We're moving on to the New Orleans Saints at the Los Angeles Rams. And this game for me is a pretty easy one. But it's also a scary one.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And again, maybe not a Halloween movie, but when I was thinking of this and this game that we have, I was thinking it's going be pretty scary for one of these teams. And I was thinking of the scariest movie I've ever seen.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Again, I don't watch a lot of scary movies, but the scariest movie I've ever seen is The Strangers.

Bobbo: ah

Mackenzie Forgacs: Have you ever seen that movie?

Bobbo: I wanted to use that. I wanted to. Yeah, I've seen it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You did? oh sorry.

Bobbo: Yes. No, it's okay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: is Is Tamara home?

Bobbo: This is great.

Bobbo: Ah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: ah Spooky.

Bobbo: Ah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: So spooky. I literally hate that movie so much, but I have seen it, believe it or not. And imagine that... That movie and and what those people are going through is very similar to what Tyler Shuck is going to be going through this weekend. If you didn't know, he will be the starting quarterback.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Spencer Rattler, right in the pine, buddy. Enjoy that candy and hightail it out of here because, and am I saying that right?

Bobbo: Yikes.

Bobbo: Yep.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Tyler Shuck is his last name?

Bobbo: I think it's Shuck. Yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And it's S-H-O-U-G-H, which is weird, but I do believe it is Shuck. But yes, he is starting.

Bobbo: Yep.

Mackenzie Forgacs: He's making his NFL debut against a very well-rested Rams team who just came out of a bye.

Bobbo: Sheesh.

Mackenzie Forgacs: To me, that is terrifying. That Rams defensive front is going to terrorize Chuck the way that these three mass strangers in this movie terrorized that couple in the remote cabin.

Mackenzie Forgacs: And for one very juicy piece of candy, I did read today that the Saints have not had a rookie QB win a game in 44 years as long as the Halloween franchise has been going on.

Bobbo: Wow.

Mackenzie Forgacs: The Saints have not had a rookie QB win a game. That is the longest drought in NFL history. Don't think it's changing this weekend. Sorry, but things are looking very, very scary for the Saints.

Bobbo: That's really spooky. um Great nugget, by the way. That was a juicy piece of candy.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Yeah, that was a juicy piece candy.

Bobbo: Okay, I would go very high for the Rams as well. Whatever I got available, um I agree with you. You you sold me.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, yeah. Yeah, sorry. I have them at 14. I believe you have 13 left. Um, um So would you like to use 13?

Bobbo: ah Yeah, I'll take the 13, please.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Perfect. All right.

Bobbo: Is the camera home?

Mackenzie Forgacs: We'll put Bob down for 13. um Oh, wait. I'm sorry. You don't, but I think your highest that you have left is Uh-oh. You have a lot of low numbers left.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We'll revisit that.

Bobbo: We'll revisit offline. Perfect.

Mackenzie Forgacs: um Okay. Next up. Ooh. This is People are to be enjoying their Reese's when they watch this game. People are to sitting, enjoying, counting all of their different types of candy, separating out the Skittles from the Snickers, enjoying all of it as they reach into this next bag to watch the game for the Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills.

Bobbo: Oh, baby.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Buckle up. Get your toothbrushes ready because this going to be a sweet treat.

Bobbo: That was a great segue to this. I agree. This is going to be a really sweet treat. um I'm for sure going to have some candy corn watching this one. This is tough. This is really tough. And the only movie I could think of that would really appropriately address this game is It.

Bobbo: And i don't like it. I watched it the other day. Pennywise, for those who don't know about It, it's this scary clown that lives in the sewers. And every time kids come around, he lures them into the sewers. And he he basically eats them and and takes their souls.

Bobbo: So Pennywise is not a nice clown. Clowns that come to birthday parties are usually nice clowns. Pennywise is not a nice clown. And I kind of think of the Chiefs as Pennywise.

Bobbo: They're just sitting there in the gutter and they're always losing two or three games in September and October. And they're sitting there at 3-3, and people are like, oh, I think Mahomes and Kelsey and Reed are finally done harassing and scaring the rest of the NFL.

Bobbo: And then it gets to be November. it's like, huh, Pennywise is killing a lot of kids, and the Chiefs are winning a lot of games. December, huh, Pennywise just took another small child into the into the sewer system. And then January comes.

Bobbo: Chiefs are in the Super Bowl again, and they win another Lombardi trophy. So Pennywise and the Chiefs have a lot of similarities. um But luckily for the Bills and for the children of Derry, Vermont, where the movie is based, Pennywise dies, and he doesn't end up eating all the kids and he doesn't end up being victorious.

Bobbo: And just like the kids beat Pennywise, Josh Allen and co will end up beating Patrick Mahomes and the evil Pennywise's.

Bobbo: I've got the bills winning a marquee matchup. Finally getting the upper hand on my homes. I've got the bills at two.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Ooh, okay. Sounds good. I also have the Bills. I have them at one.

Bobbo: Yes.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I could have easily been convinced to choose the Chiefs on this one, but glad we chose the same.

Bobbo: Okay. Okay.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Mostly just because I'm sick of the Chiefs. So let's go Bills.

Bobbo: Same. Screw them. Go Bills.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Screw them. All right, before we move into our Sunday night matchup, we do have a final ad from our sponsors.

Bobbo: One night I went waltzing out into the woods and found I had wandered much more than I should. For I came to a meadow, a magical spot.

Bobbo: Where witches were waltzing. Witches waltzing.

Bobbo: Snickers. hungry Hungry? Buy a Snickers. Three for five. Five for seven. Three for nine. Get some Snickers today. Oh, my God.

Bobbo: Go to your local Walgreens. Get six Snickers for $11.99. Ooh.

Bobbo: Limited time offer between now and Hallow's Eve.

Mackenzie Forgacs: What? First of all, what's that song from?

Bobbo: That was our Halloween song from the Court and School Elementary back in like 2002. And it's, and it

Mackenzie Forgacs: Okay.

Bobbo: it

Mackenzie Forgacs: I can't believe you remember that, first of all.

Bobbo: i i s see I sing it often. I'm pretty sure I used it on last year's podcast.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You probably did, actually.

Bobbo: And you had a similar reaction.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I feel like I've heard it before. it i was curious.

Bobbo: Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I was, yeah.

Mackenzie Forgacs: The correlation to Snickers. i don't I don't know, but I love it. It's great.

Bobbo: Go Snickers, go Spirit Halloween. that was That was a tough one.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh my goodness. Well, have a great, great ad, Bob. Thank you.

Bobbo: Thanks.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Thank you for singing us that joyful song.

Bobbo: You know what? I appreciate you telling me a lie there.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Oh, moving right into the Sunday night game.

Bobbo: yeah a Nice transition.

Mackenzie Forgacs: right to the sunday night gave

Bobbo: Nice transition.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We have the Seattle Seahawks. Oh, my God. Okay. We have the Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders. And those 5-2 Seahawks, they are just full of surprises.

Mackenzie Forgacs: We have an outcast for a quarterback. He has been written off. He has been left out. And now, in back-to-back seasons, he has made and absolute splash.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You know who else has been left out their whole life?

Mackenzie Forgacs: Edward Scissorhands.

Bobbo: Oh my gosh, what the hell? God, hated that. What the hell?

Mackenzie Forgacs: I'm making little scissor scissor moves with my fingers in case anybody can't see. Edward Scissorhands has been left out, cast out.

Bobbo: it

Mackenzie Forgacs: He's been left on his own and then he finally gets brought in and he shows already what he's made of. Sam Darnold has done the same. He should not be isolated or abandoned.

Mackenzie Forgacs: He took the Vikings last year to a, was it a 13 win or a 15 win season?

Bobbo: I think it was 14 because y'all won 15.

Mackenzie Forgacs: and is up

Bobbo: They won 14.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Like I said, right in the middle. 14. Now he is it leading the Seahawks to 5-2. To do that back-to-back with two different teams, to be on such a place at such a high level, incredible job, can't be written out. written out He may not have scissor hands, but apparently he's got football hands because Sam Darnold's getting it done.

Mackenzie Forgacs: I think he continues to get it done this weekend against the Commanders team, which really has not looked the same as they did last year. I've got the Seahawks. I've got them at eight.

Bobbo: Seahawks at eight. I also circled Seahawks really good. I don't know how he did that so fast. That was in impressive. um i don't Yeah, impressive once again. I'm also crazy that Summit's unbothered by that noise right by her ear.

Bobbo: um But yeah, I like the Seahawks, and I like them right around that. So we'll we'll ah we'll revisit.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Perfect. All right. And final episode, final episode, final game of the episode.

Bobbo: Whoa, what?

Mackenzie Forgacs: We have the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Dallas Cowboys.

Bobbo: One night I went waltz. This game is kind of like, I feel like we've been pretty spoiled with um really good Monday night matchups the last couple of weeks.

Bobbo: And this one kind of stinks. It's not great. Nobody really likes the Cowboys. um They're not great. The Cardinals also aren't great. So when I'm thinking of this matchup, the only thing that I can really think of to correlate it is goosebumps.

Bobbo: Goosebumps wasn't necessarily yet right.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Ooh, I love goosebumps.

Bobbo: was going to say all us 90s children will for sure know goosebumps. And at the time, it used to really spook us out. I've watched them again recently.

Bobbo: They're really not that spooky, but they're good. And I say that this game is a good one to compare with goosebumps is because this game gives me goosebumps thinking about coming home from a long Monday of parent teacher conferences and just getting railroaded by parents all day and having to answer questions. I don't know the answer to potentially. And then I come home, put my feet up, really ready to watch some good football and it's the fricking Cardinals versus the Cowboys.

Bobbo: Nice. Great way to end my Monday. Thanks NFL. Yeah. Yeah. Two teams no one really cares about unless you live in Arizona or Dallas. I think it's going to be a pretty meh game. I don't have any fantasy implications on it.

Bobbo: So, yeah, I'm looking forward to it, like zero out of ten. But you know what? It's the Christmas season on on Monday. I'll be putting my Christmas tree up in my apartment. All that to say, it's the Christmas season.

Mackenzie Forgacs: It is not Christmas season. Now that's, now that's spooky.

Bobbo: Christmas season. But, alas, it's a Halloween episode. We'll have a Christmas chaos in a couple months. um I've got the Cowboys, and I've got them winning this game um with whatever I've got left. They're going to win, in my opinion.

Mackenzie Forgacs: With whatever I've got left. Perfect. That sounds good. also have Cowboys. I have them at four.

Bobbo: Okay, you know what? We'll go with four question marks.

Mackenzie Forgacs: You're probably right around there, honestly, with what you have left. So, wow, would you look at that? We have pretty much, have all the same picks and we have pretty much all the same competences, maybe because one of us didn't do their competences beforehand. So that's, that's pretty good for us.

Bobbo: You know what? That could have played into it, but this, McKenna, is always one of my favorite episodes of the year. um I'm excited for the fans to actually get to listen to an episode that we recorded this week.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Love it.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Me too.

Bobbo: um So it's going to be spooky. It's going to be fun. It's going to be scary. And let's just see ah if the hooligans can be hooligans because tonight is Devil's Night, technically. So let's be some hooligans.

Bobbo: Start this week off. Get those buco bucks. Let's have a happy Halloween tomorrow, y'all.

Mackenzie Forgacs: Sounds good. Everyone be safe. Thanks for tuning in. We'll see next week.

Bobbo: Happy Halloween!

Mackenzie Forgacs: Peace.
