Sully Shaheed: oh Ladies and gentlemen, it is that time of the year where we get to sit down and discuss the post-Nationals 2026 vaunted top 10 list for shooters, defenders, get some honorable mentions. We also have some comeback player of the year awards to give out. This is the most controversial episode of what in the world East edition coming right at you.
Sully Shaheed: Here we go. in the world
Sully Shaheed: Welcome in to What in the World, East Edition. I'm your host, Sully Ali Shahid, joined by Chill Man. Chill, welcome back to the pod. This is the this is basically the the most fun podcast we do, I think. It is the one right before you and I hit the DFS streets.
Sully Shaheed: And I started talking some football. So, um yeah, man, we we spent a lot of time, a lot of film study, breaking down who should be on the list, who not should be on list, who almost made it, who who's too high, who's too low.
Sully Shaheed: And once again, if if you want to make your own list, by all means, get on your podcast. and make your list because this is our list. This is the What in the World East Edition list. So, Chilly, how is it going tonight, man? I know you've had some some critical thinking, some discussions.
Chilly: Yeah, man, this is ah by far, this was probably the hardest year to do a list. um I mean, I feel really good about the offensive one. i feel like that's pretty close. ah The defensive one, i think there's going to be some salty people in that one. This is kind of how I feel about it. um I think we should kind of go over, you know, a couple of things about each other's list here. Yeah.
Chilly: If you've never listened to a list episode, I do not include lower players into my list. So if you were not in the A division this past Nationals, ah you will not be in my list.
Chilly: um as i said it As I said before, if you don't like it, come on up to A. You'll know right where to find me. And get and you know go do your thing up there.
Sully Shaheed: You
Chilly: Other than that, if ah If you really have a problem with it and you can't play, then you shut the hell up and get better.
Sully Shaheed: guys just tell all of Whirlyball Nation to do better, okay? I mean, we do, we do, but better.
Chilly: can.
Chilly: i can. i can this is This is our podcast. We can definitely tell them to do better. Just like they can tell me to do better. You know what?
Sully Shaheed: This is true. This is our podcast.
Chilly: yeah hey a
Sully Shaheed: and And don't forget the other caveat with the list is that you must have played in the 2026 Nationals.
Chilly: They would be right.
Sully Shaheed: So from 2025, there were some people missing. Obviously didn't make the list. Made their comebacks this year. they're on the list, potentially. So you had to participate in last year's Nationals to qualify. This is not all time. This is not somebody, you know, and that hasn't played in X amount of years, not wondering why their name's not mentioned. Okay, did you attend the 2026 Nationals?
Sully Shaheed: If the answer is yes, potentially, you may be on the list because I include lower divisions outside of A. So... Just buckle up and get ready to go, because it's about to get real, as it were.
Chilly: Yeah, it's about to get real.
Sully Shaheed: ah Chili, do you want to do you do you want to shamelessly plug the event that's coming up here in Cleveland?
Chilly: Oh, are the 2026 Worldly Ball Cleveland invite.
Sully Shaheed: Yes, indeed, indeed. I'd just like to mention that that there's a link.
Chilly: Yeah, so.
Sully Shaheed: There's there's a sign-up thing. there we're We're rolling. We're rolling. So we want you come out
Chilly: Yeah, we are we are rolling. So shout out to one Mr. Sean Mikeo for getting the hotel information out there. I know him and one, I do believe Brad Dobies was also trying to assist with the hotels and some of the accommodations and things like that to ensure that everybody has a good time in in our state.
Chilly: ah So please, I believe our invite is October 2nd through the 4th.
Sully Shaheed: Yes.
Chilly: So that Friday, Saturday, Sunday with some of the events and stuff starting on Friday.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hm.
Chilly: So come on, come on out and enjoy yourself at our center. We will be looking forward to seeing everybody.
Sully Shaheed: Yes.
Chilly: So come on out. And this has been our shamelessly cheap plug.
Sully Shaheed: Yes, indeed. And if you want to see, you know, a pretty attractive lifeguard managing some guys in the kiddie pool outside of Whirly Ball and said players having to play in floaties, by all means, come on down to Cleveland. this is It's going to be a fun time.
Sully Shaheed: It's going to be
Chilly: I mean, just in case of... For the people who may not know. you want to let them know who's going to be floaties and under...
Sully Shaheed: Well, or somebody on a podcast made a bet with me and saying that if we didn't get out of the kiddie pool known as C, then they would have to, we would have to reenact a actual kiddie pool with the players that are left in there.
Sully Shaheed: So, ah John Hanson, you will be, you'll be in the kiddie pool. Okay. And, uh,
Sully Shaheed: I can't think of his name right now. I'm air balling it right now. Who's my boy from Michigan?
Chilly: key key again.
Sully Shaheed: Thank you, Keegan. I'm sorry. Listen, it's late. I'm normally in bed by now, but it's late.
Chilly: That is true.
Sully Shaheed: Keegan, you you're going to in some floaties. So, you know, I mean, they finished in second. So, I mean, like they are eligible to come to be, but I know he was having some reservations about coming up, about wanting to win a championship for his team, et cetera, et cetera.
Sully Shaheed: So I would hope to see him up, but.
Chilly: That the bet the the the bet doesn't care.
Sully Shaheed: The bet doesn't care, correct? You're herere you're getting to the floaties, bro. You're still in the kiddie pool. So as ah as as the lifeguard himself, I will be in attendance.
Chilly: Yeah. look Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Straight Baywatch action. You know, i've been I've been working on my body a lot, chill. So I think I'll be able to pull off the Baywatch look come October. I'm just saying.
Chilly: Are you going to have one of them fake drown so you can run in slow motion?
Sully Shaheed: Listen, man, if I got to go all Michael Hasselhoff on him, I'll it. I'll do it. i'll do it Drowning in the kiddie pool. All right. Shameless plugs are done. I think it's time we jump into the top 10 list. And of course, let's go let's go to everyone's, the the unsung heroes of the game first. Let's let's start off with defenders. how How about we do that? You good with that, Chil?
Chilly: Yeah, we'll start off with defenders. So we'll go back and forth. you know We'll start from 10 and work our way up. um So but we'll do that. But yes, we will we will start with the guys who do the dirty work, the guys who never look like they're having any fun, got the guys who prevent the ball from going in the bucket, the guys who extend the most, the guys who get the most swats.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm. Mm-mm.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: We are talking about...
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. And I mean, and we we say that, but it's it has a lot to do with all-around defending as well, right? You got to be active regardless if you're in the hole or not. um Do you get steals? Are you deflecting passes? Are you intercepting passes? Things like that have been taken into consideration when we were constructing the list.
Sully Shaheed: So I say I'll start because, again, yours is limited to A players. However, mine is not.
Chilly: Right.
Sully Shaheed: So coming in at number 10, I wish I had some cool sound effects. My soundboard's not great, but, you know, we do the number 10, 10, 10, 10.
Chilly: but It's like that. Remember like the old school ESPN show that used to do lists. We need that.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, remember when ESPN used to do cool stuff like jacked up and
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: and then everyone got all PC and butt hurt about watching people get hit? I'm like, dude, it's football. I would like to see it highlighted, but here we are.
Chilly: Facts.
Sully Shaheed: ah So anyway, coming in at number 10, it's getting the the the proverbial championship bump, as it were. I can't take away a champion,
Sully Shaheed: That was defender on a championship team. Having said that, number 10 on my list is the championship representing B division, Gooey Duck.
Sully Shaheed: Number 10 is Brandon Stewart. That's right. the The smart, one of the smartest drivers in B, hopefully A next year, led his team to a championship, actually came down and hit some key shots as well, played both sides of the ball.
Sully Shaheed: I'm gonna give this one to Brandon Stewart. What do you think of that, Chill? What do you think of that?
Chilly: Well, uh, again, he didn't play B or he didn't play a, so he's my bad.
Sully Shaheed: He did play B, sir.
Chilly: Uh, he's one of the few people that can actually, you know, now come up to a and, you know, have something to say to me about it. Right. So,
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, I can, can.
Chilly: um, you know, Hey, swa SWAT SWAT a couple of my shots and, uh, you know, call it a day. Right. Um, Yeah, again, I mean, goalie on the championship team.
Chilly: That seems to be a common theme here for number 10.
Sully Shaheed: right, talk to me.
Chilly: All right. All right. So my number 10, the man who sat back there and played goalie for James and the other two unlimited champions back there, you know, holding it down with Ian. Yeah.
Chilly: I have one Adam Miller
Sully Shaheed: Adam Miller, solid, solid. I mean, like I said, championship pedigree. Can't just discount what the man did, the dirty work on the championship winning team. So I like the selection at number 10.
Chilly: Yeah. I don't think he has championship pedigree. I think he's like ah one of those guys that gets second place all the time. So championship pedigree, no. he's He's kind of like, ah I mean, you know, you mentioned the NFL. He's kind of like your Bills.
Chilly: You know, got to the championship game a lot of times and and lost.
Sully Shaheed: Why we gotta, why we gotta bust balls.
Chilly: hey mean but at least at least your favorite team isn't going to be the you know the worst team in football.
Sully Shaheed: Why gotta bust balls.
Sully Shaheed: yeah Are you referring to the Jets?
Chilly: ah I think my dog.
Sully Shaheed: Are you referring to the Browns?
Chilly: ah ah you know You know, the Dolphins are going to be worse than them, right?
Sully Shaheed: ah Different podcast, chill, different podcast.
Chilly: But no, yes, I do have Adam Miller. he played ah he played great. Again, holding it down, playing goalie. He's only going to become a more dominant goalie over time.
Chilly: um Also, I do believe, like unrelated note, I do believe he can ah shoot a little bit. But like when you're on that team, you know absolutely not, right? so um So, yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Right, right, right.
Chilly: So, getting the championship bump is going to be one Adam Miller, my number 10.
Sully Shaheed: Well, chill, I like the trend that you just set with the championship. I like that to the point where I don't need to say anything else about my number nine spot because the A champion is above the B champion.
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to put Adam Miller at my nine position. So what more needs to be said that you haven't already said?
Chilly: I'll just pose the question for the nation.
Sully Shaheed: Yep.
Chilly: You took yourself out of number nine?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: The bit is dead?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. I think it's time to birth a new bit, Joe.
Chilly: The bit is dead.
Sully Shaheed: And i think you may hear I think you may hear about it here shortly.
Chilly: The bit is dead. I'd be damned.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yep.
Chilly: Well, my number nine...
Sully Shaheed: Yep.
Chilly: um We can always keep making football references here. My number nine.
Sully Shaheed: I'm good with that.
Chilly: ah My teammate. The slimmest of the slim. The Reaper himself. yeah One Jarrett Dobies here and number nine.
Sully Shaheed: Excellent choice.
Chilly: Again.
Sully Shaheed: Excellent choice.
Chilly: Again, amazing defender. um You know, him back there with his brother, know, again, Brad, love you, buddy. You were you will you were on the cusp. um But again, here, ah Jared back there, still a force, it still one of the scariest scoops to shoot on. Yeah.
Chilly: um But yeah, Jared played great. um you know A lot of people scared to shoot the screens over him. um Holds it down. Probably saves a lot more points for us than what we know.
Chilly: ah But yes, I do have one Jared Dobies.
Sully Shaheed: I love it. Like you said, long defender, um you know gets after the loose balls.
Chilly: Number ver nine.
Sully Shaheed: Anything on the floor is probably his cuz he can get out of the car way longer than you can. So ah yeah, i'm um'm so i I'm good with that selection. I'm good with that one. Yeah, yeah.
Chilly: Yeah, also, hold on, let me point out that I did forget to mention before we started the list, at least me specifically, if you, so this pertains to a couple people, but one person in particularly, Barrett, if you missed...
Sully Shaheed: ah Go on.
Sully Shaheed: Yes.
Chilly: If you miss some significant amount of time at nationals, I kind of treated like the NBA where you are not going to be on the list. um Unfortunately, it does have to go against you in some way.
Chilly: um So again, here it says, you know, it's sports, right? So it's nothing personal, but um missing some time does unfortunately hamper ah you being on the list.
Sully Shaheed: Understood, yep, I mean, I get it, eligibility requirements, right? It's just part of the game.
Chilly: Right.
Sully Shaheed: It's part of the game, so I'm here for it, I'm here for it. um Let's slide in number eight, shall we? Are we good with number eight? how about you you wanna You want to start with eight? See see where you got? Because, again, there's gonna be some people that you mention now that may appear later on down in my list. There's some people that you're not going to mention that appear on my list. So how about you how would you slap us with number eight? Who is the eighth best defender in your eyes in World War?
Chilly: Yeah, i so I think we got to give this man his flowers. um So I did, you know, unofficially kind of keep track of blocks because I watched all of a seating um again. So I did watch all of it.
Chilly: um He was definitely in the top three for blocks um again, unofficially. ah So I have one KB from the great state of Texas.
Chilly: making the list guy played great.
Sully Shaheed: Love it. Love it. Love it.
Chilly: He had, he had over, ah he was again, top two, top three for blocks.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: um He was over, I think like 14 or 15 for the weekend or for the week there. So ah played great. um Again, just,
Chilly: Honestly, it was yeah played a great goalie for, for that team in particular. So I do gotta give one KB his flowers.
Sully Shaheed: I love
Sully Shaheed: Excellent, excellent. um Sliding over number eight on my list, Chill, I think it's time to, now that if we've buried the bit, I think it's time to resurrect it. Because this wasn't according to me, okay Chill? It wasn't according to me.
Sully Shaheed: This was according to a Hall of Famer. Just like the nine bump was from a Hall of Famer James Gill the year before. I got another one from one Joe Tiffany. And Joe Tiffany officially recognized me as the eighth best defender worldly ball. So I'm gonna slot myself in the eighth spot.
Sully Shaheed: Again, championship pedigree now, suck it, John Hanson. um Even though from a different division, I played two divisions. However, getting experience in both.
Sully Shaheed: Love playing B. Love playing C. And, you know, I think, oh, and shout out to Luke, by the way. Guys, if you haven't checked out the Celesta Select Honor Awards, ah you know, made made a first team appearance on that. The only defender on all the lists with the exception of Hanson making the third team. I'm just saying.
Sully Shaheed: But I'm going to slap myself right here. So I'm to move the nine. Move on up to eight. That's where I'm putting myself.
Chilly: but Before I before a comment on on the bit, ah I think it's a shame that Sean Mooney, the guy, the glue to that team, did not make, then make didn't didn't make any of those teams.
Sully Shaheed: listen, we have, so we have our, we have, we have our own group chat.
Chilly: woodla without without Without that guy, that team, just, y'all fall apart. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: And I compared it like this. Sean is the best center in C. Unsung hero is the offensive line. Offensive line doesn't win MVPs. They don't win offensive players years, things like that.
Sully Shaheed: He's just, they do, and he did, he did.
Chilly: they win super they They do win Super Bowls, though.
Sully Shaheed: But he doesn't get recognized for doing the dirty work, okay? I said, Billy O was QB1. I put Zanko as a nice RB one. The Hirsch man was a flashy wide receiver one.
Sully Shaheed: And I was just the DN that gets a bunch of sacks.
Chilly: You know, the Hirschman, he played football in high school.
Sully Shaheed: Did he?
Chilly: What position? Yeah. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: I don't, eight d didn't ah he didn't break it out in the group chat.
Chilly: ah her Wait, listen. say Listen, I know he's going to comment. Dude, what position did you fucking play? Put it in the and the comments.
Sully Shaheed: If I upload this at 11.02, will comment at
Chilly: Let us know.
Chilly: Oh, for sure.
Sully Shaheed: ah well We'll know. We'll know.
Chilly: For sure. We're probably number one on his notifications.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, God, yeah. He'll wake up in the middle of night like, whoa, whoa, who whoa, whoa.
Chilly: But...
Sully Shaheed: Watch out. Got it. Honey, shut up. Got to listen.
Sully Shaheed: Oh,
Chilly: But you at number A, we got we have a new B player, a new A player making the list. This bo this is a bold move, Cotton.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah.
Chilly: This is bold.
Sully Shaheed: Listen, I'm not going to avoid the smoke, okay? I'm just not. However, if i get if I get backed by a Hall of Famer again every year, I'm just going to continue to climb myself up the list.
Sully Shaheed: Just saying. So I need some clout. need some clout. It's clout
Chilly: ah You know what? a Hey, it's, it's, Hey, it's your list. You get to make and break the rules.
Sully Shaheed: it's my list, baby. It's my list. Let's roll on up to number seven, man. Number seven. I have an all-around active, in-your-face court general, newly deemed in the land of Chicago.
Sully Shaheed: I'm going to go with Hall of Famer Jeremy Bennett at number seven. I think he is, I think he, again, court generals deserve their flowers as well. He is always in the game, always active, plays whatever role is suited for him during whatever possession.
Sully Shaheed: He's a great defender, an active defender. He's one of the ones that founded the the googly eyes defense when he can't get a scoop on somebody and just makes a funny face and causes people to miss.
Sully Shaheed: So, I mean, don't know if he invented that, but he's the best at doing it. So I'm going to go with Jeremy Bennett right here at number seven.
Chilly: Well, great minds. We think alike. I too have.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, yeah.
Chilly: yeah I too at number seven have one Jeremy Bennett. Again.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: I mean, basically at number seven for his communication alone, let alone his actual skill at the game, which is obviously, you know, hall of fame level. Um,
Sully Shaheed: Oh, yeah.
Chilly: Again, what he what he is able to provide ah for those Chicago guys, ah being that court general for them, ah keeping them, you know even even commanding the offense back from playing goalie and getting these guys to where they need to go and what to do ah Again, all around great player.
Chilly: ah you know He's one of the few people you know That may make both lists. you know We'll see here when we get into the offensive side. But
Sully Shaheed: so Spoilers, spoilers, hey, relax, relax.
Chilly: ah fifty but ah again here, one Jeremy Bennett, number seven. Because again, like you said, it's not all about blocks you know on the defensive side.
Chilly: So I want Jeremy Bennett, number seven.
Sully Shaheed: Yep. Yeah, I don't know many greater voices in Whirlyball than Jeremy Bennett.
Chilly: I'd also like to take the time to ah apologize to Jeremy Bennett because during our game, we were killing the clock, you know, and he did curse. He did curse us out.
Chilly: He also apologized after he said it was smart, but he did curse us out. And when Jeremy Bennett curses you out, I feel terrible. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: And that's why he can't ride the Nimbus.
Sully Shaheed: Just for that instance alone, can't ride the Nimbus cloud.
Chilly: But he mean he was in he was in the right.
Sully Shaheed: It is what it is, man.
Chilly: But i didn't like it.
Sully Shaheed: Fair enough. Let's move on up to number six. six sex Who do you have in the sixth spot, chilly man?
Chilly: ah I would also like to point out that Unlimited has no bearing on my list. It is not factored in.
Sully Shaheed: Understood.
Chilly: and So I'd like to point that out. So anything that was done in Unlimited does not get included. Okay. So Unlimited, again, it's its own thing.
Sully Shaheed: Counts in mine.
Chilly: Counts in yours. That's a shame.
Sully Shaheed: Accounts in my...
Chilly: ah if it yeah we'll We'll get to that in a second. ah Number six.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: yeah He suffers the biggest drop on my list.
Sully Shaheed: Ooh, a faller. and not Not a riser. A faller on the list.
Chilly: Yeah, i have ah I have Jordan, Mr.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Chilly: Huffman, at number six.
Sully Shaheed: Oh my God. All the way down from one last year. I do believe we're in lockstep from one to six.
Chilly: From what? Correct. He was number... Correct. um Yeah, so so again here, was... you know If you take Unlimited out of the equation, unfortunately, this wasn't the best Nationals.
Chilly: ah He did go two and out. that That has to be a factor ah a little bit here. He he went two and out. it just That team didn't gel for whatever reason. um Unfortunately, i i mean i again I watched all of the seeding games.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hm.
Chilly: I know they were they were missing Barrett for a little bit there. I know they had some B players, so I'm not really faulting them for that. um Again, if you factor in Unlimited, it's a completely different argument.
Chilly: um But again, Unlimited plays no bearing in the mind because not everybody gets to play. so ah Again, Jordan, obviously, is still one of the best floor generals in the game. So one of the best goalies in the game. ah But going to and out somewhat has to matter here.
Chilly: ah So I do got Jordan at number six.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Okay. A little harsh, little harsh. But, you know, I respect, obviously, your opinion. I respect it. um At six, I'm going to say you may have had him a little too low, in my opinion.
Sully Shaheed: Just a little too low. Right here is where we're going to reap the slim. Jarrett is going to come in at number six. Not not you know playing against him at home withstanding.
Sully Shaheed: um I think that you know he is, again, like you mentioned earlier, and I can't say more than what you add on to, but one of the scariest people to shoot over, very active on the floor, in between passes, um and he's just he's just devastating. I mean, if he if he can develop um the voice that let's say ah Jordan or Jeremy have, um you know, something in those, in those areas that I mean on your team, you you may or may not need that. However, it's still very important to be a general out there.
Sully Shaheed: um Once he develops that, I think that he'll, he'll continuously move up the list. So I'm going to put slim right here, right at six and put slim there.
Chilly: Yeah, I think, uh, I think that's fine. Um, no complaints here. um I, I think, I think going forward, the, I think the only thing that slim really has to work on is his one-on-one driving.
Chilly: Um,
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Chilly: i think that's this I think that's where he needs to build.
Sully Shaheed: Yep.
Chilly: I mean, that's where we all need to build on our team, of course. ah
Sully Shaheed: Sure.
Chilly: But i I think that'll take, I think that's the, you know, that that's that's the jump from good to great.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, yeah. Yeah, 100%. I agree with that. We're going to take the top five territory, Chill. who's Who's cracking the top five?
Chilly: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: Who do you have at five? there's some There's some names on here that we haven't, there's some names of the game that we haven't gotten around to. And I think i think we're going to break out a couple here. So who do you have at number five?
Chilly: Yeah, at number five here, um we have one. ah He's back. We have one Joe Tiffany coming in at number five.
Sully Shaheed: The comeback player of the year defense. and Wait, hold on. No, no, I'm sorry. He's not. He's not. Sorry. Sorry. My comeback player of the year is right here in this spot. So I jumped the gun. I apologize. My comeback player of the year is right here at number five. But go on.
Sully Shaheed: Elaborate about Joe Tiffany.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, Joe Tiffany, one of the best drivers. I mean, one obviously, this one of the best overall people at the game of Worley Ball. um you know Will willll play defense, no questions asked. Also has you know the offensive game to go with it. ah Just one of the best minds on defense. Obviously, just a great block. ah the The court awareness, the again, the the voice on that court.
Chilly: So again, joe Tiffany coming in ah once again, number five.
Sully Shaheed: Well, I alluded to it, so I'm going to give my number five spot to the comeback player of the year from off the list completely to right back in the middle at number five. The Hall of Famer, newly minted Hall of Famer, Ben Heisel.
Sully Shaheed: Finishing at second in A gives you some clout. um Hall of Fame bump, of course, gives you some clout. And it's right where it's right where we always knew that he would be. You know, he's an elite defender, elite court general.
Sully Shaheed: um Court awareness is probably 101 out of 100. So I got to put, welcome back Ben Heisel to our list. I got to put him right here at number five.
Chilly: I mean, again, man, it's a solid choice. ah You know, ah again, if Unlimited played any bearing, then Jordan and Joe could be higher. But I figured we'll keep both of the, you know, quote unquote, the goalie buddies.
Chilly: We'll keep them right next to each other.
Sully Shaheed: Right next to each other.
Chilly: So right next to each other.
Sully Shaheed: I like that. I'm here for it.
Chilly: It makes it makes a ton of sense. So again, there you won't hear any arguments out of me.
Sully Shaheed: And congratulations for winning defensive comeback player of the year. i so
Chilly: Yes.
Sully Shaheed: um Let's move on to number four and you've already mentioned him at a slot below, but I have him a slot above because I do take unlimited into consideration. So. Give me Hall of Famer back-to-back Joe Tiffany.
Sully Shaheed: Joe Tiffany, your number four best defender in Whirly Ball. Again, super tall scoop, court general, huge voice on the court. um Again, an another awareness guy. i mean, what what needs to be said about Joe that hasn't already been said?
Sully Shaheed: so But for me, personally, let's put him at number four.
Sully Shaheed: Who you got at number four?
Chilly: I mean, it's a I think this is this is probably my most controversial take.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, okay. Uh-oh.
Chilly: I think this is this is this is my most controversial take.
Sully Shaheed: Here we go.
Chilly: um Because I think some people will say he may not even have been the best goalie on his own team. um I got Ross at number four.
Sully Shaheed: Wow. Ross at number four. Go on.
Chilly: I do.
Sully Shaheed: You got some explaining to do.
Chilly: Yeah. Um, Ross, I think is one of the very few people that once he played, if he plays when he plays defense, that that's a whole different, that's like, ah that's a whole different game.
Chilly: But Ross playing defense, um, the length, the, his quickness is, I mean, is driving the car. um You know, again, third place team did, you know, would go back there to try and help doc the best he could, obviously developing more of his game on the offensive side.
Chilly: um
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah.
Chilly: You know, and again, here we'll, we'll, we'll, you know, we'll cross that bridge when we need to, but yeah, I think, i think Ross often goes under looked, maybe not playing the position as much, but I did feel like this year watching enough games, I do feel like Ross is a huge factor.
Chilly: um communicates well, um, Even with Ross being a wedge, the the length he can get to you as a wedge is is impressive. So, again, might be the most controversial take on my list, but I am putting Ross at number four.
Sully Shaheed: You got no arguments here, buddy. I mean, I'm okay with your justification, and I'm here for it. I'm not going to debate. not going to push him down. i like it. I'm here for it. But it's just like you said, if he was like an 80-20 guy, right, and was 80% defense, that, we got some problems on our hands, because that dude is absolutely disgusting on defense. So I'm with you. I'm with you. I'm here for it. I'm here for Are you ready to give it to top three? We're almost there, man. Top three.
Sully Shaheed: Number three. Who you got?
Chilly: Yeah, yeah we do we do top three. um You mentioned him earlier. He is also my comeback player of the year on the defensive side. Welcome back to the list. One, Ben Heisel.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: you get the you you you got You get the second place in A bump.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: You get the Hall of Fame bump.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: ah You were once number one on my list, and then you fell off the list because you got beat down in Seattle. We all did. And welcome back to the list.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: Sitting at number three, ah held it down defensively for Doug, Dave, ah Austin, and Johnner. So ah Ben played great.
Chilly: Also another, again, under, I think underrated talker on the court. ah Underrated. i mean, that whole team communicated really well. And like,
Chilly: that team kind of in a, in a sense of a list sense, they kind of almost like hurt each other. ah But again, this one of the best, it's probably one of the best Michigan teams I've played against that actually just played as a team with like, without quite a whole team, man, those guys shout out to them, but ah you know, Heisel holding it down for them defensively.
Sully Shaheed: a
Sully Shaheed: ah whole team yeah
Chilly: So yeah, Welcome back to the three spot, Mr. Ben Heisel.
Sully Shaheed: um My number three spot, again, i don't need to say anything more about Ben. That hasn't already been said. Well-deserved placement on the list, but I'm going to go down to the ATL with this one.
Sully Shaheed: I got to bring in number three, Kyle Phillips. Kyle, once again, Dominating court general, court court awareness is on 100 all the time.
Sully Shaheed: Big, tall scoop. I know he's been working more on his offensive game. He he provided some some clutch shots for his team. um But you know ever active, ever present. um And again, once it once the court general thing can't be underestimated or understated, right? He's always communicating with his team, always putting his teammates in positions to be successful on the court.
Sully Shaheed: So I'm a slide Kyle Phillips in at number three.
Chilly: mean, it' it's a solid pick. It can lead us right into my number two.
Sully Shaheed: ah Man, let's hear it. Number two, Chili, who you got?
Chilly: i got your number three. I got Kyle Phillips. I mean, we kind of mentioned it off air. i think this is where guess Atlanta did not have the greatest record.
Chilly: um They also didn't go to and out. Sorry, Jordan. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: Hey, it's okay. Remember remember when he yelled he yelled at me in the ref stand? So I don't forget. I don't care how old that is.
Sully Shaheed: He did. Oh, man. Flutes the list. Oh, man.
Chilly: it did it did nod It did not. Again, if yeah if Unlimited was a factor, Jordan would ah you'd be up here.
Sully Shaheed: I'm kidding.
Chilly: um But again, Kyle holding it down. um i think i think we could almost make the argument. he in the sense... It's kind of like, you know, the, the miles Garrett, you know, where he, unfortunately Atlanta does not have a center.
Chilly: um
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: So they do start to 10 a little bit slower and they do play well. um I think Atlanta is one of the best, like, you know, second to last day and tournament teams. There are, they do play really well in those scenarios. Kyle again was top two fighting with KB amongst so a couple other people in terms of leading in blocks and ah Kyle saved a lot of two-on-ones for Atlanta. um Again, communicating the passion. ah yeah
Chilly: got Shout out to Kyle. Also, you know what doesn't hurt is you know Kyle is you know a big advocate here of you know trying to be on the list.
Chilly: um He does fight...
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. he He fights for his spots every year. So he takes this list very personally.
Chilly: Yeah, so again, i do this is a bump up for me. i do have one Kyle Phillips, number two.
Sully Shaheed: So now he's got an average of 2.5 now.
Chilly: does have a He does have an average.
Sully Shaheed: My number two is going to go to Michigan's own Clint Fisher. and Again, another Hall of Famer. um You know, the pedigree is there. It's very active. um You can tell that I feel like he was a little more passionate this year. um He was a little more active.
Sully Shaheed: And, you know, obviously, court general, floor general, huge awareness, gets his team where he needs to get. Not the run that they wanted to see. um But at the same time, you know, he welcomed himself back to Unlimited.
Sully Shaheed: And had a good showing. i think he was I think he was phenomenal. I think he was great. And, um you know, if the ball's in your car, guess what? So is Clint Fisher. So um I got to put him at the number two hole right here. So give me some Clint Fisher.
Chilly: I mean, I'll just, I'll just like carry over one more time. My number one.
Sully Shaheed: Wait, wait, wait, before, well, yeah, we see where you're going with this. However, would you like to list off the honorable mentions before we hit the number one spot?
Chilly: oh yeah.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We could do that for sure. ah You want to go first? You want me to go first?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I'll slap them out because, you know, like I said, my list is comprised of non-A players. So those those spots, those bottom three spots are occupied by non-A players. So those that were in consideration, Doc, Carter,
Sully Shaheed: KB, Ross, and Noah. Those are my considerations, the the honorable mentions, the outside looking in in my list. If I forgot you, if I didn't mention you, no, sorry. It's just the way I roll on my list. So there you go.
Sully Shaheed: So Doc, Carter, KB, Noah, and Ross make the honorable mention spots on the list for Sully.
Chilly: My honorable mentions um would be one Cleveland's own Brad Dobies. I also had Doc and Carter on the list as well.
Chilly: ah Noah was also on my list. A couple things going against Noah. um you know i thought our team was bad with getting extensions called.
Chilly: Apparently the refs like Noah a lot more than they like us. Because he got called way more than we did.
Sully Shaheed: Fair, fair, fair.
Chilly: um So i did I did take extensions. Extensions called did go into account into my list.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: ah
Sully Shaheed: Another stat product, I got you.
Chilly: Yeah. ah ah But again here, i I will give credit to Noah. i He is basically on the cusp here of making the list. Yeah.
Chilly: Again, i think he would need to play it at a little bit more frequency than what he does. Obviously, that's the not the Seattle way because they do rotate everybody. um But.
Sully Shaheed: Unless you're Adam Miller.
Chilly: Well, yeah, you ge come on, come on.
Sully Shaheed: ah
Chilly: You see, you see, who yeah you see, who you see who he's fucking out there with.
Sully Shaheed: ah Come on.
Chilly: You kidding me?
Sully Shaheed: I know.
Chilly: sorry.
Sully Shaheed: I'm just pointing out. They rotate to everybody.
Chilly: I'll stay back there too. i you know It doesn't matter.
Sully Shaheed: hell yeah.
Chilly: When James has 800 scoops on him, he still makes threes. It doesn't matter. so ah those Those were my ah honorable mentions as well.
Sully Shaheed: Beautiful, beautiful. hope You alluded to it already, so let the cat out of the bag. Number one goes to. Poor
Chilly: Number one goes to the dirtiest player in the game, our Ric Flair, our Eddie Guerrero Worley Ball. If you're not cheating, you're not Clint Fisher.
Chilly: Clint Fisher would literally kill his son to get the ball. It doesn't matter.
Sully Shaheed: Caleb. Poor Caleb. All right.
Chilly: if if it if If Clint had to pick between his own son and winning a Worley Ball game, it's close.
Sully Shaheed: sorry
Chilly: He's getting that ball.
Sully Shaheed: He's getting a ball.
Chilly: Clint Fisher, ah on a serious note though, again, Clint Fisher, again, was up there for blocks. Uh, one of the best peer drivers in terms of ah goalie, um,
Chilly: did A lot of the thing did separate on my list was in terms of driving for one-on-one. ah Again, Clint didn't get beat as often. One-on-one as some of these other guys did.
Chilly: Again, floor general... ah Was a little bit more offensive this year, but still not too, too much. The amount of two on ones he blocked or saved for his team ah was incredible.
Chilly: um Kept them in a lot of games for doing that. ah So again, my number one i will still be ah the nature boy, Clint Fisher.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: the nature boy clint fisher yes i like that i like the cap comparison um yeah i'm sorry my most controversial take is at number one it's It's Jordan.
Sully Shaheed: I don't care. aza i had to take resume into consideration. I had to take unlimited consideration. Yeah, he went to and out. i understand it was a down year. However, he played his role. He did what he was supposed to do.
Sully Shaheed: And like I said, I take unlimited into consideration. And when you continuously win, you're still the court general on that on that team. um And he's the best voice in Worley Ball. He's the best floor general in Worley Ball.
Sully Shaheed: And I still have to keep him... Keep them at the number one spot. Once again, controversial. But, you know, Jordan's somebody that, you know, I model my personal game after on defense. Want to get my voice a lot louder on the court.
Sully Shaheed: And, you know, it might be a little personal bias as well. But like I said, he's he's the best floor general in the game. And I think he, in my opinion, deserves to still remain at number one.
Chilly: i mean I mean, it's fair. It's fair. Again, Unlimited plays no bearing on my list. um If it did, he'd be he would be higher, obviously.
Chilly: um But, a I mean, Joe played a lot of goalie on Unlimited. Didn't want to...
Sully Shaheed: He did, he did. He's on the list, he's right there.
Chilly: one them
Sully Shaheed: He's no ah number four, ah right there.
Chilly: I'm just, hey man, it's your list.
Sully Shaheed: Just saying, just saying, there.
Chilly: It's your list. Your list.
Sully Shaheed: My list. Well, we've ah we've, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
Chilly: But, but it I was just going to again here, you're you'll hear no complaints from me. Obviously, Jordan on any given day can be, you know, the best goalie in the game, so.
Sully Shaheed: Yes, yes, 100%. All right, well, we've hit the 45-minute mark, and I think it's time to get into the exciting part of the game, the stat-stuffing part of the game, the people that can put the ball in the bucket for their team on a frequent and accurate basis.
Sully Shaheed: So it is time for the top 10 shooters, offensive players in Whirly Ball. And of course, we start at the bottom. You know, there's no offense to the bottom because if you even make this list, you you're phenomenal shooter. There's a lot of phenomenal shooters in Whirly Ball Chill, a lot of them. But at 10, I'm going back to Atlanta.
Sully Shaheed: I'm bringing Beckett to the list. That's right. I'm doing it. I'm bringing Beckett right at the 10 spot. I think his, with and with somebody without a center, he comes to every invite, every open practice that Michigan has flies out, and not flies, drives out.
Sully Shaheed: And he's been doing nothing but working on his shot. He has one of the best high shots in the game, virtually unblockable. You know, when he sticks that tongue out, man, the ball's probably going in the bucket.
Sully Shaheed: So Beckett, bucket, number 10, Give me Beckett.
Chilly: I mean, again, it's a good take. ah he's in my He's in my honorable mentions.
Sully Shaheed: Damn, Chili.
Chilly: So.
Chilly: Hey, man. Again, man, you'll hear no.
Sully Shaheed: I did have to do, I did have to admittedly do some shuffling.
Chilly: It's OK. It's our list, right?
Sully Shaheed: Oh, ah but but he he got, he he got in, he snuck in, he snuck in the back door.
Chilly: Yeah, again, everything you mentioned previously 100% accurate, one of the best high shots in the game. um Again, as somebody who did watch ah who did watch ah all seeding again, um he was off to a rough a rough start.
Sully Shaheed: True.
Chilly: the first couple days. And obviously that's most likely going to be because of no center. um He did. He did become a little bit more lively as the weekend went on. um But I again, the list does not care if you have a center or not. We care about results.
Chilly: ah So unfortunately,
Sully Shaheed: <unk>
Chilly: ah My number 10, we'll keep it in the fam at number 10. I got one Anthony Ola at number 10. Yeah.
Chilly: um putting Anthony at number 10, uh, he does Anthony to, to his credit does garner a lot of attention out there.
Chilly: He is one of the few people that again, when we're when we're playing these teams, man, it's, they are, they care about one guy. Uh, and it's, where's Anthony it's wedge. Anthony it's go to Anthony.
Chilly: ah So again, here, did he did have a pretty good shooting ah display there um during nationals. But when you're garnering that mo like that much attention and that respect, you You got to make the list because ah some of the people that I don't have ah that I don't have on the list are not game plan for necessarily. So I got to put Anthony at number 10.
Chilly: So that's who I got. Number 10.
Sully Shaheed: I respect that, Chill. I respect that. You know, giving the bloodline bump. I respect that a thousand percent. However, there's only one Ola that's making my list. And he's right here at number nine.
Sully Shaheed: Chill. You take my number nine spot on the best shooters in Whirly Ball. Again, Anthony, as you alluded to, gives you freer looks because the attention goes that way.
Sully Shaheed: And you can just set up at four and a half welds and do your thing, which is exactly what you did during nationals. um Obviously, I get to play against you at home. already know what kind of shooter you are. So from no list to cracking the top nine.
Sully Shaheed: So one Olaz here, and it's going to be you. Chill. Number nine.
Chilly: I appreciate that because put myself at number nine as well.
Sully Shaheed: We're lockstep, another lockstep pick, yes.
Chilly: um Again, everything that I mentioned before about Anthony, ah this essentially goes to me because who is the biggest beneficiary of open looks? ah Me and Jarrett and Brad.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hm, mm-hm.
Chilly: So, yeah. so um So that ah this was probably this by far my best shooting nationals in a ah probably one of the best nationals I've shot at in general.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hm. Fair.
Chilly: The probably one of the very few reasons why I will put myself above Anthony is probably just for the amount of threes that I made over the week um at nationals.
Chilly: A couple games I made about, you know, three threes and a couple of games. Yeah. So yeah, so again here, the biggest beneficiary of having open looks because the teams only care about the other guy,
Chilly: So I do have myself at number nine.
Sully Shaheed: like it. I like it. I like it. I'm here for it. All right, let's roll up to number eight. And I think I've i think i've made an on-the-fly adjustment.
Sully Shaheed: Because um i'm looking I'm looking through the tape.
Chilly: On the fly.
Sully Shaheed: I'm looking through feedback. I'm looking to you know take certain aspects of the game, like a limited into consideration. And... I can't justify putting who I was going to put here there because of the other factors. So I moved someone down.
Sully Shaheed: No disrespect, obviously. But because of the sheer amount of defense that he played and only shooting when basically quote unquote necessary, still one of the best knockdown shooters in Whirly Ball.
Sully Shaheed: But again, because of the role on his team and the role he took upon himself, I had to move him down just a little bit because he's not a volume shooter anymore, albeit a knockdown shooter.
Sully Shaheed: Number eight is going to go to Jeremy Bennett. Again, sheer amount of defense that he played. It's hard to be top X in both lists.
Sully Shaheed: But again, he didn't make the defenders list because he was shooting a bunch. He made the defenders list because of what he did on the court. But offensively, you still can't take away from what he can do out there. So I got to put Jeremy Bennett right here at number eight.
Chilly: Yeah, man, we're on lockstep. I got...
Sully Shaheed: Hey, back to back. Let's get it.
Chilly: I have Jermaine number eight. um Yes, did play a his fair share of offense. um But again, when he was on offense, it's ah it's a huge difference.
Chilly: um opens up so much floor for Chicago when he's on the offensive side. um
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: His consistent like three point potential is is big for them. um And again, just the the communication and and being the floor general, even on the offensive end as well.
Chilly: ah Still huge. So yes, I do have Jeremy Bennett. ah Welcome to the number eight spot on my list as well.
Sully Shaheed: Excellent, excellent. look at Look at us, look at us, look at us.
Chilly: Look at us.
Sully Shaheed: Who would have thought? yeah
Chilly: Who would have thought?
Sully Shaheed: Not me, not me. But that's great. Well, chill, I got a jumble here when we get up to number seven. So I'm gonna let you lead the way.
Sully Shaheed: Who do you have at number seven? Because I was was rattling my brain about this, man. This was a tough call. These next three spots, the toughest ones to fill for me.
Chilly: Yeah, man, these are all pretty tough. Um, yeah i don't know I don't know if this is going to be a hot take or not.
Chilly: um But I do have one from from from the state of Texas. I do have one.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, I knew you were going to say it. I fucking knew it. oh the disrespect.
Chilly: i did
Sully Shaheed: Oh, my God.
Chilly: I don't think it's disrespect once we kind of go through who I have above them. But I do have...
Sully Shaheed: go on.
Chilly: I do have Bolte at number seven. um i do because i mean, I'll hear what you have to say, but if you're taking unlimited into account, he was not their best offensive player.
Chilly: i'm just ah Again, I'm not taking it into account. Because if I took it into...
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Chilly: but um Yeah, man. Bolte, number seven. One of the best drivers in the game of Worley Ball. ah One of the... Honestly, underrated quick shot.
Chilly: He has a little bit of a higher shot. ah Snaps that wrist through. Amazing driver.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: ah Very underrated one-on-one.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: ah do have one, you know, as he so eloquently put it, ah you know he may have been a little bit intoxicated on this night, but you know not only did I meet not only did I meet Bolte, I met Chris.
Sully Shaheed: right you're Right, right, right.
Chilly: you
Sully Shaheed: A lot of ah lot of people will get to meet Chris.
Chilly: Chris. Yeah, so that was...
Sully Shaheed: What you got to meet Chris.
Chilly: So I got to meet Chris, and Chris, you know what, was a damn good time.
Sully Shaheed: Fair enough, fair enough.
Chilly: At number seven, what? Chris Bolte.
Sully Shaheed: Chris, Chris.
Chilly: yeah
Sully Shaheed: All right, this is tough for me, but. I think I'm gonna take what I said about Jeremy and apply it the same way to Joe Tiffany.
Chilly: oh that's that's too low that's too low fam that's that's too low
Sully Shaheed: Maybe little controversial.
Sully Shaheed: Maybe little controversial. Hey, hey, listen, listen, listen, listen to listen me, okay?
Chilly: this is where this is where the film study This is where the film study comes into play.
Sully Shaheed: listen listen to me listen to me okay
Chilly: That is that too low.
Sully Shaheed: He can't. Well, I can say the same about Chris.
Chilly: i got it.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. All
Chilly: night i Listen, you you might think so, but when you hear the six, I got above them. All right.
Sully Shaheed: right. Well, youre like I said, you're the one with the statistician. You you got the stats to back it.
Chilly: Like I said, this is too low. i just
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Well, listen.
Chilly: i don't fight you on your list too much, but this this is too low.
Sully Shaheed: Like said, this is hard for me. This is hard for me. This is hard for me.
Chilly: it's it's the wrong It's the wrong choice. And this is no disrespect to anybody else you got on the list. this is That's too low.
Chilly: as That is too low.
Sully Shaheed: Listen, it's hard to be top X in both lists for a reason. You can't be the main off offensive guy and the main defensive guy and think that, you know, it's all spread equally.
Sully Shaheed: Everybody that's on this list is fantastic and can be debated. Let me put that caveat out there, okay? Okay. But because of the defensive impact that Joe made, and again, I take unlimited into consideration.
Sully Shaheed: I think Joe is gonna sit right here. Remember, so he is the offensive comeback player of the year.
Chilly: Yes, yes, I do need to mention that as well. As Ben Heisel was our defensive player or defensive comeback player of the year.
Sully Shaheed: Yes.
Chilly: Joe Tiffany as our offensive comeback player of the year.
Sully Shaheed: Yes, yes, yes.
Chilly: And I know, you know, hey, spoiler alert, I'll get into more stuff when you know when we get through my list.
Chilly: But we'll cover that when we need to. But yeah, Joe Tiffany by far comeback player of the year on the offensive side of the ball. And I think he'd be the first person to tell you that last year he didn't shoot well and at his home center.
Sully Shaheed: Yep, yep.
Chilly: I mean, he got everybody sick. Let's not forget. i know i know that gets looked over.
Sully Shaheed: Sure as shit did. Sure as shit did.
Chilly: You know. you know, he didn't get a pass.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. ah Okay. Well, my ah my apparent controversial take aside, let's let's go to number six, man. We got...
Chilly: I mean, i led I led the way last time. Who you got at six?
Sully Shaheed: Well, see, here's where I was debating because I wanted to slide Joe up a little bit, but then I slid him back down because of defensive prowess because I wanted to lump him in with Jeremy Bennett. So the man that it moved up above him just slightly and only slightly.
Sully Shaheed: The quickest draw on the West. Eric LaPlante is going to go right here.
Chilly: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: Eric LaPlante.
Chilly: I, too, have won Mr. LaPlante. at six
Sully Shaheed: Perfect. Perfect. So again, what can we say that hasn't been said? um You know, the the fast, happy shot.
Chilly: he he wasn't hired he he wasn't higher on your list with the unlimited bone i
Sully Shaheed: There's another guy that got higher on the list because of the unlimited bump coming up here shortly. But yeah, LaPlante was nasty. Some of the seeding games I watched him, you know, he was, I can't remember the team he was going against, but he took somebody one-on-one maybe 14 straight points and it was sickening.
Sully Shaheed: And the separation that he can create being a shorter guy um and being like i said, a quick snappy shot. He's lethal from every angle of the court. And yeah, he's just absolutely deadly. So I mean, got a slot LaPlante there. like who like I would say, you know whose shot do I fear more?
Sully Shaheed: LaPlante's is damn near impossible to block. I mean, like, I'm not saying Joe's isn't because he's a very high shooter. um However, LaPlante is too quick. You know, he's ah he's the ultimate hand down, man down shooter.
Sully Shaheed: And i think he I think he deserves a spot right there. I'm going to put him at six.
Chilly: I think you got to fear Joe's shot a little bit more. But that's, again, it's either here or there.
Sully Shaheed: It's debatable, subjective to opinion, you know, obviously.
Chilly: i mean joe I mean, Joe Tiffany, he is my you know my younger sibling teammate. So that aside. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: True, make it happen. Make it happen.
Sully Shaheed: Oh man, so we're in lockstep.
Chilly: You ready for number four?
Sully Shaheed: We're in lockstep at six. We're both putting Peters at six.
Chilly: Eric, not here.
Sully Shaheed: ah Sorry, Eric LaPlante, number six. Sorry, spoiler alert for five.
Chilly: You want to go into it?
Sully Shaheed: it's It's BP. It's Brad Peters. Again, this man single-handedly put Michigan in the grave in Unlimited to the point where Barrett put his scoop down when he was in the key because he knew the ball was going in the bucket.
Sully Shaheed: I mean, was just basically shooting at the wall at that point. And if you can put on a performance like that at quote unquote, the highest stakes, um you know, when it comes to the game, worldly ball, I think you deserve to definitely be on the list pretty high up it as well.
Sully Shaheed: So I said, LaPlante got a little bump. Peters gets a bigger bump for the unlimited and, uh, Yeah, man, he's always been a lights out shooter. He's always been great in the key. um And I think his range is just getting bigger and bigger as as the years go along. So give me one BP at number five.
Chilly: At number five, i got ah got one Mr. Doug.
Chilly: got Mr. Dougie.
Sully Shaheed: Oh! Okay, okay, okay, okay. taught Talk to me.
Chilly: Yeah, so I got Doug at number five. Again, man, Doug... I thought Doug played a little bit more defense than he's probably played over the, you know, over his like worldly ball career in general.
Chilly: Um, uh, Doug basically single-handedly put our team away, ah with this really good three and a half, four well shots. Um, Doug gets the, the, the playoff bump, uh, that team lost their first playoff game.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Sully Shaheed: They did, then ran the gambit.
Chilly: Um, And then my God, they ran the gambit.
Sully Shaheed: Yep.
Chilly: It was, ah it was really cool to watch. And they, they have some really funny moments through the playoffs that I watched as well. um You know, it does also, you know, when you do have Austin and Dave on your team, man, it's good. It's, it's going to get you open. and And again here, like, let's not disregard anything that Zach did.
Chilly: ah as well.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, of
Chilly: So in terms of offense, but man, Doug, Doug was pretty spot on and money throughout the playoffs. You know, unfortunately this runs into the bus. So that is James Gill and friends.
Chilly: So
Sully Shaheed: course. And company.
Chilly: ah James Gill and, you know, ah ah you know, again, and friends.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: So I do got Doug number five.
Sully Shaheed: I mean, they are they are the goat herders, man. So you know they herded the goat, as it were. All right, so you got you got Doug at number fifth.
Chilly: They did.
Sully Shaheed: are that Okay, okay, okay, okay. So ah top four, chill.
Sully Shaheed: You moved me. You moved me with what you said earlier. about someone that's lower on your list, but higher on mine.
Chilly: right.
Sully Shaheed: But because because you influenced my decisions, Joe, because you're a logical man, because you study the film, you're film warrior, I'm gonna move someone down into this spot that was higher.
Sully Shaheed: This is where Bolte goes at number four. Again, quick snapshot of the wrist, very phenomenal driver. ah top Top five, if not higher, all around player in the game of Worldly Ball.
Sully Shaheed: um I think Bolte, although his shooting performance you know in a couple games, like i said, unlimited, does take consideration. Didn't have the performance they wanted in the tournament.
Sully Shaheed: But ah outside of that, you know you always got to be mindful of where he is and what he's doing. Can make shots from any type of angle and from anywhere on the court. And yeah, I think um'm i think I'm going to slide him down because I was hearing what saying, man. hearing saying. So I'm going to Balty right here.
Sully Shaheed: Put Chris. Put Chris right here.
Chilly: Put Chris.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: So at my... um At my number four, you know, a former native Michigan player lit it up on Unlimited, Mr. Brad Peters.
Sully Shaheed: There you go, okay, okay. BP cracking the top four for you, huh?
Chilly: ah Absolutely, man. Again, if Unlimited had some more... If unlimited had a factor on my list, I would definitely, I would have definitely put him higher.
Chilly: ah but again, it does it. Um, so yeah, I, again, Peters absolutely tore it up this tournament. Um, again, didn't matter from range from inside the key, the driving, um Again, man, when do you have other you know former unlimited champions and the GOAT on your team, um your looks are going to be huge, but you still got to put the ball in the bucket.
Chilly: ah And again, when you have ah you know when you have consistent defense back there with ah with Ian and Adam, it helps as well. ah So yeah, i I got one Mr. Brad Peters coming in at number four.
Sully Shaheed: One of the goat herders himself. I like that. The old, ah you got a championship bump as well.
Chilly: He does. He does get a little bit of a championship bump.
Sully Shaheed: yeah Yeah, well, all the things that you mentioned earlier about someone that's higher on my list.
Sully Shaheed: I'm gonna put Doug right here at number three. Once again, I think that, you know, you have deadly shooters on his team respectively. But in my opinion, maybe only my opinion, he's still the most feared one out there.
Sully Shaheed: Did play a lot of defense this time, too. He was very selfish on the court as well. Very selfless, I should say. and But when he had open looks, he buried them. I mean, he's always...
Sully Shaheed: ever present when it comes open shots. He wasn't forcing a lot this year. He was taking what he was getting. And when he take when he does that, we can ease into and relax, take shots by himself.
Sully Shaheed: um He's nasty. So, and he was very, very nasty too. Once again, it can't be understated that they lost their first game and then went all the way through to get a championship appearance. And a lot of that had to do with Doug.
Sully Shaheed: So I'm going to put him right here at number, number head.
Chilly: Yeah, and at ah at number three, ah you know you mentioned this individual before. I argued that he was too low.
Sully Shaheed: Ah, here we go. Here we go.
Chilly: and number three At number three, ah we do get one Joe Tiffany. Welcome to number three on the list. ah I'm sorry you are so disappointed.
Sully Shaheed: Offensive comeback player of the year.
Chilly: 100%. All I have to say is go watch. If you're going watch anything, just go watch Joe Tiffany try to carry his team through the playoffs.
Chilly: And this is no disrespect to the people on his team. Y'all played great. the amount of The amount of shots, the amount of times he was beating the holy hell out of these other teams' goalies, the amount of crossboish the amount of cross-body threes, the amount of this cross-body shot, the amount of this ridiculousness that man was flicking the wrist um what was incredible.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Chilly: ah Joe Tiffany is the biggest benefactor of the playoff bump. um But again, in general, this year had to play way more offense.
Chilly: um Again, here's still very feared. Very feared from ah from, you know, everybody else. Oh.
Chilly: Played probably so probably the best non-championship game of the tournament. um if you do want to watch If you do want an entertaining game to go watch, it happened on court two on Sunday.
Chilly: ah Go watch the the goat herders against, what was their name? A-Rex? that Was that their name? Their team name? I think so. Or I'm close.
Sully Shaheed: Sure.
Chilly: but
Sully Shaheed: Sure. Yeah.
Chilly: Whatever.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. this is
Chilly: Whatever.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: So go watch go watch that game. i it's it's one of the best It's one of the best games you'll see ah from this entire tournament. ah Again, spoiler, it ended But ah but man, it it probably one of the best non-championship games of the weekend. But um yeah, just again, man, nothing to be said. Just watch Joe's run through the playoffs and you'll see why I have him at number three.
Sully Shaheed: Hey man, like I said, you're Mr. Steady the film, you're Mr. Tape, you know so I respect your opinion and that's that's a good spot. It's a good spot, man, it's a good spot.
Chilly: I mean, the thing is the things ah the thing is, is like teams literally knew to stop him and they still couldn't.
Sully Shaheed: Well, listen.
Sully Shaheed: Still couldn't do it.
Chilly: Still couldn't do it.
Sully Shaheed: Right, still couldn't do it. Chill, before we get into two and one, because spoiler, they're the exact same. um How about we list some honorable mentions?
Sully Shaheed: who who Who was on the cusp of making the list?
Chilly: Yeah, let me say this. Probably the biggest omission off of my list is going to be carter um Man, Carter was on my list, and then he was off my list, and then he was on my list, and then he was off.
Chilly: If I took Unlimited into account... um If I took it into an account, Carter is definitely on the top 10 list um because he was by far Texas's best offensive offensive player.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hm.
Chilly: um Unfortunately, ah unfortunately for Carter, when comparing them with the 10 people in front of them, record record does kind of have to matter a little bit. Also, no offense to him. You know, he had a certain teammate on his team that took a lot more shots than what they should have.
Sully Shaheed: No comment.
Chilly: I mean, no comment.
Sully Shaheed: You know who you are.
Chilly: I mean, this... i mean, ah we know is. Brad reading. um So, yeah I mean, it's true, though. I mean, reading, i mean, again, reading for as good an offensive player as he was, he just struggled this year. um You know, he'll turn around. But, man, carter Carter definitely needed way more shots than what he was getting um from his team.
Chilly: ah But, again, man, when he had those opportunities, the guy was he was fucking on fire. ah So, Carter would have been my number 10 a half.
Chilly: I mean, you could you we you can make an argument you at Carter at number 10 over Anthony. I'm sure Anthony may even make the argument himself as well. ah The reason I did have to put Anthony there, then it's good.
Chilly: Again, you know, no disrespect, but nobody goes onto the court saying, hey, we got to shut down Carter right now. So, again, I'm sure that's good.
Sully Shaheed: That's fact. Yeah.
Chilly: um But the thing is, is like what the way he performed this year, I'm sure that's going to change as well. ah Yeah, I can't say enough about Carter. Definitely like that. And then again, some of the, you know, the rest of the guys that I have, um you know, ah you know, the other benefactor of Anthony being covered, Jarrett.
Chilly: Uh, Jarrett shot really well, shot great in the playoffs. Mentioned them earlier on the defensive end. Ross Ross, this is probably the, his best offensive tournament that I've seen. ah and then, you know, the other three, just to kind of finish it off Beckett, Dave and Austin, uh, again, man, ah fortunate, like I said, you know, Dave and Austin both played well, but like, again, that whole team in the sense kind of just cannibalize each other.
Chilly: um although, you know, although like, Let's be real. We have three people from the championship team, but you know, they won.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: But again, there, but again, nothing to be said about that, but those, those are the, those are the peeps that I got.
Sully Shaheed: I like that, I like that. um Obviously, you know again, one Ola making the list, that means the other one was on the cusp of making it. ah Anthony, benefactor, like you said, from having open shots being covered all the time. Jarrett,
Sully Shaheed: um Austin, Austin and Maddie go into probably the two, probably two of the most dominant key shooters that we have right now.
Sully Shaheed: um Maddie is just so damn tall um and he can, he can dunk on damn near everybody. But like I said, within that, within the key area, he's very, almost damn near impossible to stop.
Sully Shaheed: um So Austin and Maddie get my, my nod from there again, if they could, They were three four-wheeled knockdown shooters. Easy money, but in the key, they were damn near unstoppable. Jonner and Dave need to be mentioned as well, I think. We're definitely on the cusp of making it.
Sully Shaheed: And then, again, i ah it's because of you I left ah him off, but... um Dan Carney could have made the list because he single-handedly took his team to beat the B championship.
Sully Shaheed: I mean, yeah, I said single-handedly. No one else was on that team. It was Dan Carney, period. But because of some tape, when he filled in an A, it didn't look too great.
Sully Shaheed: So I left him off.
Chilly: No. Yeah, when he ah when he played in A, he got swatted a lot. that's Again, man, he's never played A before. This is
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, but we'll see him next year. I know NA, so I mean, he's definitely got a chance to make the list. And, ah you know, i think I think Cadence needs to be mentioned here.
Sully Shaheed: You know, she almost made it. I thought about it. I looked at the tape. You know, there' was there's not many not many dominant D offensive players, and the Cadence was right there. I mean, I'd say Cadence over a couple people on honorable mentions, but, you know, soon enough.
Sully Shaheed: Soon enough, right? Soon enough. So, i soon know
Chilly: Hey, soon soon enough. Again, cadence. Again, cadence. If you don't like it, I'll see you in
Sully Shaheed: enough.
Chilly: a. That's all I got to say again, man. You get all the respect in the world. Shout out. I'll shout you out the whole time, but.
Sully Shaheed: CNA! what What happens first, Chill? Does Cadence make the the shooting list or does she get her driver's license first?
Chilly: I
Chilly: i guess it really depends. It would have to depend it would have to depend on on their center, right?
Sully Shaheed: Depends.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah,
Chilly: I'm going to roll with the driver's license. If y'all want to put that in the chat.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. What happens first? One of the up and coming premier shooters from D gets your driver's license first or meets or gets on the top 10 list.
Chilly: Or, you
Sully Shaheed: Your call or.
Chilly: you know, what happens first? Does she get her driver's license? Or do or do Keegan or Buckets win C?
Sully Shaheed: Man, that's another that's another topic for another day, isn't it?
Chilly: What if she could carry Buckets?
Sully Shaheed: I guess. I guess.
Chilly: She could.
Sully Shaheed: Someone has to at some point, right? Just like, hey, you know, according to according to Noah, you know, Billy O carried me to a championship, even though I've been on teams with Billy before.
Chilly: Damn.
Sully Shaheed: And but whatever. I'm just saying, whatever. But anyway. um Yeah, man, let's knock out these last two because, you know, they're they're the same.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: They're the same.
Chilly: ah Let's be real. Coming in at number two, and we don't give a fuck what you got to say about it. um Fucking do better, kid. You're number two again.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Timmy, we love you. You're number two You're still looking up the number one.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: Unfortunately, unfortunately, you didn't make, you didn't make the finals this year in a, ah you tried your damnedest in a limited again, unlimited played no bearing on mine because if it did, you'd be lower.
Chilly: Uh, because you didn't, you weren't even allowed to play an unlimited. sucks to suck. ah
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, it just literally, you are not playing anymore.
Chilly: um
Sully Shaheed: na
Chilly: One thing, if you hey, if you all want to see Timmy crashing out, go watch their last playoff game. It's on court one. They're playing Doug and them.
Chilly: All right. And the game is kind of close. It's towards the end of the game. Right. And this, I don't know who was reffing.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: may have been Keegan. But again, I don't know who was reffing. But there was, i think I think maybe Dave or somebody was like in the key, and it wasn't getting called. And like it was kind of a big deal because they needed the ball to try to shoot a three.
Chilly: and and And Clint and Timmy and Pat, everybody but Kalen on the team is literally flipping out. And Timmy is having the biggest crash out on the far side of the court.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Chilly: midgame i mean Mid-game, he stands up in his car to curse out the ref. Does his best Trevor Martin impression. right He crashed out so bad.
Chilly: i would also like to point out that Jonner and Doug so nicely asked the ref to call an extension or a seatbelt penalty because that's four points.
Chilly: So kudos to Zach and Doug.
Sully Shaheed: It is.
Chilly: But if you just want to see something funny... It's in the playoffs. Sunday on court one. Timmy crashes out. And it's hilarious.
Sully Shaheed: I'm definitely going to be watching that.
Chilly: Do with that what you will. Shame. Shame.
Sully Shaheed: I'll be watching that before bed. 100%. 100%. I can't wait. But yeah. i can't wait but yeah Timmy slides down my list. The number two, like I said, I think my most controversial take last year was putting Timmy above Gil and Gil basically told me to shove it up my ass this year.
Chilly: shame Shame. Fucking shame.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Hey, listen, listen, this year, I guess Joe Tiffany is going to have a vendetta against me because I put him too low, but yeah, Timmy deserves a two spot. I mean, he's a, he's a one man wrecking crew, but when he gets isolated and taken out of a game,
Sully Shaheed: You know, his team can't win. So he did he tries his damnedest. That's for freaking sure, no matter what. But um yeah, he's still, you know, the the the young gun in the West, the up and comer, um still nasty. One of the nastiest shots in Whirly Ball, consistent, super consistent.
Sully Shaheed: But, you know, he's got to realize that he's coming into every single game with a target on his back. And I mean, it's a big target. And once teams ah once teams try to isolate them, then you know other guys got to step up. And unfortunately, like you said, their playoff run came to an end because of that.
Sully Shaheed: And the unlimited run came to an end because of that. And that's just the way this is way it is. But shooting Acumen, he's still top two. So there that is.
Sully Shaheed: So good job, Timmy. You made it. You dropped on the list for a year um to the unquestioned, unrelenting, A champion, Hall of Famer, greatest of all time, still to this day, to this day.
Sully Shaheed: Chili, you and I both agree. It's James Gill. We all knew it was James Gill. I know people probably cut the podcast off because they already know we're going to say James Gill.
Chilly: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Welcome, welcome, welcome to James Gill being number one.
Sully Shaheed: Yep,
Chilly: It's okay.
Sully Shaheed: yep.
Chilly: We'll still, we'll we'll take you in. We'll still take you in over here. I never wavered. My unwavering faith as one former Brown.
Sully Shaheed: Right?
Chilly: All right. As one, again, to get more football references in there, the the best Browns quarterback of all time, James Winston.
Sully Shaheed: James Winston. Yeah, it's not close actually.
Chilly: It's not close ah to show you how far we really gone downhill. um Again, the goat of goats, but James Gill, what can be said?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: ah Again, if you want to go watch the reason why he's number one, again, I mentioned that playoff game earlier between ah yeah against their team and you know Joe, Christy, Noah, ah and Jay and Brad Elke and them.
Chilly: ah Just go watch all the ridiculous shots that James Gill makes in that game. Double covered from three around scoops. I mean, it's to the point it's it's to the point where Joe Tiffany was literally just fucking laughing his ass off.
Sully Shaheed: Through Scoob. Yeah.
Chilly: He was just laughing because there was nothing you could do. And they needed all of that to barely win that game by one point. that That game also has a very sad ending.
Chilly: Somebody in that game will, ah they regret their last shot, but that's neither here or there. But again, here, what can be said about against the greatest all time? ah Again, man, Mr. Consistency himself.
Chilly: He is a walking bucket. He steps onto the court and he's open. James Gill, number one with a bullet.
Sully Shaheed: I would have said steps out the car and he's open.
Chilly: Off the plane.
Sully Shaheed: Like in the parking lot, just give him the ball.
Chilly: Out of bed. Out of bed. Just steps out of bed. Just...
Sully Shaheed: Drains it. Yep, doesn't matter. That doesn't matter. um Yeah, man, that's, I can't say anything else. It's it's it's James Gil, bro. Like, no, when when when he's when he retires and other people try to take over in his steed, we'll always remember how absolutely filthy he was at the game and You know, it's just, it's insane what he can still do.
Sully Shaheed: And it seems like it's only getting better, which is absolutely insane to say, but it's it's James. Number one with a bullet, like you said. So, well, chill.
Sully Shaheed: We did it, man. We did it.
Chilly: We did it. We did it. We did it, didn't we?
Sully Shaheed: The most controversial episode of What in the World, we did it.
Sully Shaheed: do we Do we have any closing thoughts about about this year's Nationals?
Chilly: um No, man. Again, man, I thought it was a great Nationals. um I believe ah you guys could be on the lookout for the Sonesta Select award Awards for the B Division.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, man. Yeah.
Chilly: um So be on the lookout for that. Those guys, i don't know if it's Luke and friends or who, who are who, whomever is a part of that. You guys are doing a great job. ah Again, something that just promotes the sport and brings us all closer.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Cool. I can't wait to see what y'all do for a, um because that one is going to be really tough and really fun for y'all to do.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, you think this is hard. Yeah, okay, good luck good look over with the A shit.
Chilly: Yeah, man. ah If you guys don't put me on it, I'll be kind of pissed off. um
Sully Shaheed: Listen, hey, spoiler alert for A, James Gill is the MVP.
Chilly: and these
Chilly: No.
Sully Shaheed: And he's on the first team.
Sully Shaheed: Spoiler.
Chilly: I mean, i mean you want you you want to do a first team A real quick? You want to toss out five?
Sully Shaheed: You know what? Fuck it. We got five minutes until the hour and a half mark.
Chilly: Fuck it, right? Fuck it.
Sully Shaheed: Let's let's do it.
Chilly: Fuck it.
Sully Shaheed: Let's do it.
Chilly: Listen, all these other podcasts go two hours and seven hours.
Sully Shaheed: First.
Chilly: Fucking ah Snowy and and Buckets are fucking playing some pigeon game. That was absolutely hilarious.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: Like, i don yeah I don't know what's going on on that side of the world or or whatever is going on. as John's fucking around with pigeons.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: I don't know. But it was hilarious. I see there there's...
Sully Shaheed: Hey, did we, uh,
Chilly: Their shorts come up on on YouTube. So I'm like scrolling.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: And it just it says buckets and a picture of a fucking pigeon. I'm like. this is This is fucking gold. If his team name.
Sully Shaheed: I'm sorry, we can't be as creative.
Chilly: If his team name. Is it's not something pigeon related. I'll be pissed off.
Sully Shaheed: Be disappointed. Hey, did we, ah I might have to go check the tape, but did we get C all the way correct?
Sully Shaheed: We got the first scene completely correct.
Chilly: see all the,
Chilly: we were, we, we were close. I think we were close.
Sully Shaheed: Nah, I think we got them all, bro.
Chilly: I may have had Mooney instead of Hirschman maybe, ah we were, we were, we were, we were close.
Sully Shaheed: Okay, we got to check the tape on that.
Sully Shaheed: We'll have to check the tape.
Chilly: I know we, I know for a fact we, we had you, right? We had Billy, right? ah Tilly Brady, right?
Sully Shaheed: And Brady.
Chilly: Brady.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, so maybe your fifth was different, but I i do believe I said the first one.
Chilly: Yeah. i We were, yeah, we were flirting around. yeah At the worst, at the worst, I was four for five.
Sully Shaheed: At the worst, we were four for five. So let's let's try and recreate that. Let's try to do it again. So five, or four, because James Gill.
Chilly: Let's, let's just, I assume that James Gill, so James Gill and whomever else for his team. So I feel like Brad or Eric are coming with them.
Sully Shaheed: I think it's Peter's.
Chilly: I think it's Peters as well.
Sully Shaheed: I think it's Peter's.
Chilly: us Yeah, I assume they'll do their own thing for Unlimited, right? So I'm not, again, Unlimited is playing no bearing into this. So we have James. We have Peters.
Chilly: I mean, you're not going to like it, but ah it's scott's three Seattle people.
Sully Shaheed: Joe,
Chilly: Yeah, um Joe and Timmy.
Sully Shaheed: i think I think Joe, Timmy, Doug. I think Doug makes the first team.
Chilly: Joe, Timmy, and Doug. I like it. I can see Joe, Timmy. I can see Joe, Timmy, and Bolte.
Sully Shaheed: But I mean, like I said, look at the playoff run.
Chilly: but like but like our but like But, like, here's the thing.
Sully Shaheed: Look at the playoff run.
Chilly: i yeah i don't know how they, if they, you know, because, like, e well, I will say, in the NBA, your first team and, like, the MVP voting does not factor their playoffs into it.
Sully Shaheed: It's a community vote.
Sully Shaheed: Right, that's true, that's true, that's true, that's true.
Chilly: Because like if if if they're not factoring that into it, there has to be one Cleveland guy on the first team.
Sully Shaheed: It's
Chilly: Because we see the second.
Sully Shaheed: true.
Chilly: So, again, I don't know how they factor into it.
Sully Shaheed: It's true.
Chilly: like I don't care what k Cleveland guy, but technically there would have to be one on there. But, like
Chilly: again, I'm not big on the goalie thing. So, like I don't think Clint Fisher makes my fifth spot. So, I think my fifth spot is, at this point, it's almost... I think Doug, Eric, or Bolte.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. I can see it. I can see it. Like I said.
Chilly: I mean, it's going to be tough because if you're like, man, I'll put Jeremy Bennett on the first team. It's like, okay.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Chilly: Good luck with that, boys.
Sully Shaheed: Like I said, you know, even putting our list together and then trying to pick five, at brother.
Chilly: Good luck with that, boys.
Sully Shaheed: Woo! The community's got to speak loud on this one. Loud.
Chilly: Yeah, I mean, it's it's tough.
Sully Shaheed: Loud.
Chilly: I mean, like, you see all these crossouts? That's my list, guys.
Sully Shaheed: I see. i see it.
Chilly: um I mean, unrelated note.
Sully Shaheed: i mean, we did we got the pads. We put in the work.
Chilly: See this? see it See this? This is everybody who got blocks.
Chilly: I did the work.
Sully Shaheed: You did the work, bro. You did the Lord's work. You definitely did.
Chilly: I did the Lord's work. This is all the Cleveland shooting percentage.
Sully Shaheed: You definitely did.
Sully Shaheed: ah
Chilly: brother. i was I was, in the weeds. God damn it.
Sully Shaheed: We were in the weeds, baby. ill like it.
Chilly: I was, I was in, i was in the weeds.
Sully Shaheed: I like it.
Sully Shaheed: So, okay. So, yeah, yeah. So let's go. Let's go Peters, Gil, Doug, Timmy, Joe. That's what I'm going to go with.
Sully Shaheed: That's what I'm going to go with.
Chilly: Yeah, man, it's, uh,
Sully Shaheed: there's There's first teammate right there. There's first teammate right there.
Chilly: You're not going to hear any complaints out of me, man. That team would be pretty sick.
Sully Shaheed: Pretty sick.
Chilly: Also, um hold on.
Sully Shaheed: Well, having said that, go ahead.
Chilly: Let me rant about one thing. i know there's a couple of you.
Sully Shaheed: Sure.
Chilly: When like we put up those like unlimited things and everybody's like, but the goalie, the goalie.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chilly: it was it It still stands to this day. And like you know my favorite basketball player, White Chocolate, Jason Williams, would you rather have And again, no disrespect. Would you rather have five James Gills or five Ben Heisels?
Chilly: I know who I'm picking. okay Okay. As great as goalies are, and they do a lot for the game, as for great as a goalie as Jordan is, he can still put the ball in the bucket.
Sully Shaheed: Sure. Yeah. yeah
Chilly: Again, let's not forget it. At any point... If Barrett didn't want to be, you know, young Shaquille O'Neal down there in the fucking key, Barrett could go play goalie.
Chilly: All right. And just make his ass all the way back to number one. So, so again, here, let's just again, for as great of a goalie as Jordan is, it's just the other four guys put the ball in the bucket a little bit more than he does.
Chilly: And when you literally have the stat sheet between Peters and Eric, you i don't I don't have to move from goalie. When I'm up by 50 or whatever, whatever i had the privilege of fucking reffing or 40 or 30 or whatever Seattle was in that ass by, he didn't have to leave.
Sully Shaheed: Didn't have to leave.
Chilly: So again, i value y'all opinion. that That unlimited team with like Anthony and Bolte in them, they'll have defense. I promise you.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chilly: the don but they' they're They're great players, guys. They'll be okay. again five
Sully Shaheed: but they But they also have the ability to put the ball in said bucket at a high frequency.
Chilly: but in ah yeah Again, five James Gills, five Ben Heisels. Let me know in the chat.
Chilly: Let me know in the chat, in the comments, wherever you're listening to this. Text me. Message me on Facebook.
Sully Shaheed: Right, get in the Discord if you want.
Chilly: Don't care.
Sully Shaheed: Who cares?
Chilly: on the Discord. ah DM me on Discord. don't give a shit. Let me know.
Sully Shaheed: Chill, man. Having said that, it's been ah it's been a ton of fun.
Chilly: I'm done.
Sully Shaheed: We're ready for the debates to spur and and people yell at one another about who goes where and who didn't get mentioned and and all the other good stuff. I'm excited for it.
Sully Shaheed: But yeah, if there's any other topics that you guys want us to harp on, we probably won't be joining you again until after Invitational's. here in Cleveland. Once again, hopefully you guys can make it out. Come enjoy our city.
Sully Shaheed: And if not, like I said, drop us some topics. Drop us some, you know, you guys want to interview. You guys want to just talk the general shit on the podcast, you know, because Chili and I have to move over to our fantasy football podcast.
Sully Shaheed: So if you're into that type of thing, come join us over there.
Chilly: We do.
Sully Shaheed: If not, you just want to hear the whirly ball shit. That's totally cool too, man. It's totally cool too.
Chilly: Yeah, we are not obligated to make content.
