It... my opinion, it totally depends. It depends on a few factors, right? First off, if you're doing any kind of layered construction, Sanmai, GoMai, I think it's a bad idea ah to forge in the bevels because all you're doing is making those layers tighter together.

ah So i had to forge the profile. I would not forge, especially on that one is a great example of don't forge in the bevels when you have an edge bar. But if you just if we're just talking about mono steel knives, um there's certain techniques where it's nice to forge in the bevels, like you're doing a buoy knife.

And one of the the techniques of doing a bowie knife is to, you have a straight edge, like the top the top of the spine is straight. Okay. And it's curved down from the top of the spine down.
