“We have a vision for this country, we are not scared, and we are speaking with passion and conviction about what we believe.”

“Believe in yourself. Don’t wait for the government to save you. Stand up and speak out for what you believe.”

“Take your place in the world. Take your place in Canada and fight for what you believe in.”

Maxime Bernier is one of the most important figures in Canada and the world when it comes to freedom. He’s the leader and founder of the People’s Party of Canada. He spent nineteen years in the Montreal, Canada, financial sector as VP of an insurance corporation and a bank. In 2006, he encouraged Stephen Harper to work toward a smaller government that would lower taxes and respect the constitution. Stephen then asked him to run as a candidate and he eventually became foreign minister. Over time, as Canada started moving toward a socialist era, he found that the conservative party became morally and intellectually corrupt. This was the beginning of the People’s Party of Canada, founded on the principles of individual freedom, personal responsibility, fairness and respect.

Maxime was the only national leader speaking out against the covid hysteria. His opinion wasn’t popular but he stood his ground for the sake of truth. He’s also not scared to raise concerns around mass immigration, radical gender ideology, and supporting the war in Ukraine.

Maxime believes in the future of Canada. “That’s why I’m in politics.” When you have a big government, you have less freedom and the PPC intends to change that. But he believes everybody needs to get involved for the change to manifest as quickly as possible. “We believe in people. We have faith in people. We believe that Canadians have the opportunity, the dignity, and the right to make their own decisions.” It’s a matter of cause and effect. What you put into the world is what you get out of it, so if you want to see change, get engaged and help make it happen.

Expert action steps:

  1. Believe in yourself. Don’t wait for the government to save you.
  2. Stand up and speak out for what you believe.
  3. Before voting, take 10 minutes to look at the platform of every political party.
  4. Take your place in the world. Take your place in Canada and fight for what you believe in. You can always count on the PPC.
