Um, I'm back to not being relaxed. Uh, I did return relaxed though. Yes. Yes. Only stick out. I'll zoom in because that's the only way I can deal with you. Um, yeah, I know the cruise was fantastic, man. It was, uh, it was, how do you describe, I think I just was telling somebody the that today that it was way too long and not long enough. Uh, 10 days, uh, on a, on a boat was, uh, it was good.

See, I've spent two weeks at a resort before and then yeah, by like the 10 day mark, you're ready to like, you you get kind of bored and that's that's on a massive fucking resort like Moon Palace.

Well, the, the cool thing was that, um, well, excuse me, there was, um, We did seven ports in 10 days. So there was plenty to do. We weren't stuck on the on the boat for anything. There was only two sea days. um But nevertheless, it gets yeah like the the food on those things is supposed to be the highlight. And um on the previous ones that I've done, I've I ate myself into a oblivion, but this one was came with the most like super high ratings like five star Michelin chefs on board at some of the restaurants and stuff.

Um, because they're it's like, uh, you've having done as many cruises as we have, you know, unless it's something you really want to do, it's really just like a ah a waste of money. Like if you go through a tour through them, it's like twice as much.

We walked around a couple a couple of ports, didn't really do much, tried to just get as much like, seeing know the local stuff as we could. And then we started ah doing tours and um with every intention to to like, get a beach day, but um They just, it just didn't work out that way. But Barbados, we did. It was really nice. Got a, got a beach with a, you know, a lounge chair and an umbrella. And we weren't even at the beach very, very long, but it was cool. It was very nice. But all the other islands were, I mean, there was a couple of ones that, I mean, overall, I don't think I ever need to go back to any of them.

Uh, no rain. Um, a couple of days we got. a little ah muggy and some rain here and there. Martinique was, that was another one I didn't care for too. The French vibe there was people were not very welcoming, but it's a it was cool then. I mean, overall it was, I mean, I think i what I really wanted to like, what I really have to say is I got a couple other funny stories too, but um The most important and the most enjoyable part of that trip was, you know, my wife and I are, our kids are almost grown. Our youngest is 16. Uh, the girls are, are older. Um, and you know, we've done a couple trips by ourselves, but, uh, this was probably the, for me personally too, cause I'm a, I, I'm a workaholic, right? I do.

My job, i do I have a side business, I do knives, i like you know I'm always... busy focusing on a lot of things, right. And, um, and and with the kids and and life and all that stuff. But so somewhere around, I made it a point this trip to, to unplug from all of that. Um, it actually came at like the absolute worst time that it could possibly come with all the changes that I have going on at work. Um, probably, yeah, I don't think there was a worst time for me to have

taking so much time off, but it was planned way before we knew any of this stuff was happening. but um So I did take my my computer and I did have some some intentions to, you know, like some morning when I was sleeping in or something, I'd go downstairs and log on and try to work, but I ended up not doing anything.

I gotta be back here by 12 30 to go do something else. And so we jump in the, in the truck with him and I look, uh, and he gets in the passenger seat and I look in and cause we're in like one row back in the back seat. I look in the middle and this dude's got big ass bag of weed sitting in between him.

So I decided to forget the other plans that we had. And we get out there and we come back and we stop at at this beach and um we get out and I go walk on the beach, like Black Sand Beach, which wasn't, it just, if it looked like, it felt like dirty sand, like, cause it was black, like, I was so unimpressed with the Black Sand Beach.

Like, you know, they got bags on the fucking hood and they're just, you know, selling or buying. I couldn't figure out if dude was pushing weed or if he was, if he was buying weed.

We got like all these locals like surrounding the car like and they're kind of like half making fun of him and

And this dude loses his car keys. um Anyways, then he's like, I wish they were in the ignition, but they were not, but they were very, they were very, very close to like, like right in plain view. I didn't see him either, but um So we go back and the whole time there though, this fool was hauling ass, like the the driving there. I told Lynn, I said, if you ever say anything about my driving again, after this trip, like you're you're out of your mind. Cause I'm pretty sure we almost died like a handful of times. Cause there's no speed limits. There's like all one lane roads are on the other side of the, you know, on the wrong side of the road. Like it was a little stressful sometimes he's hauling ass there. And he was on the way back.

I have a very narrow minded American view of how everything is and like being exposed to to other cultures. There was two comedians on and and one was Canadian and one was, uh, from, uh, it was English and they did, they did all.

couple, you know, the bits on the difference between Americans and and and everyone else. And it was it was funny. It was it was really cool to kind of experience and chat up people from other areas. You know, one guy from ah from the UK was bitching and complaining about how He kept telling me that when you talk to Donald Trump, tell him that, you know, we're pals. but I was like, what do you mean your pal? He's like, we stormed the beaches together. where We live in a free world because America and, and, you know, we, we beat the Germans and like, he was pissed off that he, I got like shuttled like cattle into, um, when he got into Miami to do his transfer flight, he was pissed. Um, and, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but it was cool.

And, um, so that was cool, but it was very, very minimal, like, yeah and it was purposeful because of me trying to be, uh, uh, attentive was the word that I was focusing on trying to be attentive to my wife. And surprisingly enough, and I'll shut up after this, surprisingly enough, Puerto Rico, which is a place that I never thought I would ever go. But we did fly into there, spend a night and a half a day. And then we came back and we spent another day there was, was fucking beautiful. It was really, really, really awesome. The old town San Juan was probably, when I say that my favorite Island was Barbados, I think overall, I think, uh, probably the most enjoyable less stress time I had was in and was in Puerto Rico.
