Speaker: And if all that wasn't enough, she is the host of the Empowered Half Hour podcast, of which I have been honored, honored to be a guest. Becca, I am so excited that you are here with us today.
Speaker: So excited to be here. I feel so pumped after that intro and just hearing about your podcast, like that, like unboxed, unburdened, unstoppable that like, it's like, bam, bam, bam. Let's go.
Speaker: Let's Go. I was about to put a potty word in there. but yeah Let's freaking go. Right? Because there's so much that holds that that can hold us back and things that we do box away as women in our lives and and put away and say that's for another day. Not yet. That's in the box of not yet.
Speaker: are not right now. And it can cause us to live smaller than we're here to live and to live a life that feels disempowered. But we are here to talk about power. And I got to tell you, even speaking your name, Becca, I feel the goosies, the energetic power sort of pulsing in my veins, because I know this is going to be so good and it's going to pump our listeners up. And I would love for you to begin this conversation just by sharing a bit of your life journey.
Speaker: And wherever you want to begin, whatever you want to move us through to understand a little bit more about you, my kid. Sure. and I think where I'm going to start is just really where I am. and And I'm going to share, I'm going to start off in the sads, guys. I'm going to tell you a sad story, but only because it, all of us have one, right? And um this past weekend, I had to put down my dog, which really sucked, right?
Speaker: Okay. And then this past March, i um, my, my brother passed away very suddenly a, at 43 in a, in a drowning accident.
Speaker: And, prior to that, I lost my mom and my dad years before. So I, I am the sole survivor of my family and I just put my dog down. So I'm not, I'm not saying this for sympathy. What I'm saying is that life is full of ands. Like I, I'm grieving And I'm not getting stuck in it, right?
Speaker: I'm grieving. And, you know, in October, Return to Radiance released and it hit USA Today bestseller. Yes. yeah But I wanted to share that because everyone has a story. You have your story, Michelle, which you so eloquently share and empower others.
Speaker: and But we all have a story. And in this theme of being like unboxed, unburdened and unstoppable, you know, I could have a narrative that I'm alone in the world, right? No one understands me.
Speaker: and instead I'm like, you know what? These moments of deep sadness have caused deep reflection and I've gotten to know myself. You know, I i have taken the opportunity, you know, you get two choices when stuff like this happens, you either fall apart or you stand up and you rise, you know? And I was like, you know what?
Speaker: i'm going to rise. i have I have my own energy, my own story, my own things that I came to this earth to accomplish. But I also know that regardless amount about the amount of things that I can list, I lost my you know my lot my mom, my dad, my brother. i also know that they're standing behind me and that they're not going to want me you know crying in my hands every day, which still happens. But You know, I allow the motions to flow and then I come up and I'm like, I've got a mission.
Speaker: I've got people to empower. I've got a family that i want to see me. I want my children who are in their young twenties now to see me as a woman who who can overcome obstacles so that they, they are learning through me. So, I mean, I can go on and on, but I think that was just like, that's really what's up for me right now. And having another loss, um even though it was a dog in our family, our dogs were family members.
Speaker: And it just, it reignited that like fight in me, you know, it's like, I've been sad this week, but I've also been like, you know what, like my girl Marley, she's always showing, so already showing signs that she's around me.
Speaker: And every sign that I get is kind of like, go girl, like, let's go, you know? And so I'll let you respond to that. But that's kind of where I'm at and what's going on.
Speaker: Well, that's so powerful. and And first and foremost, I just want to tell you my heart aches because I have my fur babies too, and they are our babies. And so I remember Marley when I was on your podcast and what a precious angel she was then and is now. And always, forever, eternally close to you. And I love that you see the signs.
Speaker: The loss that you've experienced is profound. There are no words to put to that. The loss of a brother, loss of parents, loss of our you know beloved family members, our fur babies. that There's so much loss in the world and it can bring us to our knees.
Speaker: And we can want to stop and for a time maybe We do, and that's okay, right? We have to sit with our grief. We have to allow ourselves to feel what needs to be felt.
Speaker: But I think for me, what unstoppable means, it's about momentum. It's about feeling, as you said, all of it, right?
Speaker: I can feel great grief and i can feel something that is joyful, right? I can feel those things simultaneously. Life works that way. it it it It gives us these kinds of moments, but the momentum of saying, I i won't stay here forever.
Speaker: i'm I'm going to rise. I'm so we can get knocked down, but we don't stay down. To me, that's unstoppable. And it is a ah such a powerful energy.
Speaker: And I'm wondering, as you say, you feel them around you and behind you pushing you forward. I feel that too, Becca, in my life with the loss of parents, both adoptive and biological You know, the ancestral healing that I am such a believer in that our ancestors are with us. They stand for us behind us. um And you visualize that. do you visualize that? do you see them? Yeah, actually.
Speaker: Yes, I do. I'm very spiritual, too. And so like I do. I do. like envisioning exercises. So I feel them, but I even tattooed ah memorial for each one of them on my back, like reminding me that they have my back because there's a truth to what you're saying as far as that ancestral backing, like, and that's what it, like I have my own why that keeps me going, which, you know, but also like, as we're talking about this, cause I think it's so relatable in everyday life, we've all had losses. Right.
Speaker: And, um Like, I feel like they're saying to me, i did not come this far. I did not take on what I took on to see you stand still.
Speaker: Right. Like, like you said, grieve what you need to grieve, but girl, stand on your feet, stand up, make the difference. You came here to make, make it on my behalf, your dad's behalf. Like, that's what I feel like my mom says, like, and on my behalf, your, my your dad's behalf, your brother's behalf. Don't, don't let us die in vain.
Speaker: You know, like I'm, I am right now being a sole survivor of my family, the way my family continues to make an impact in the world. Oh, that is so powerful. It's so, so powerful. And if you hadn't, you know, unlocked that box of loss and really looked at it, right. Because we can, we can want just close it and avoid it and i not deal with it because it hurts. It hurts to grieve. Yeah.
Speaker: Yeah. But unboxing it um And looking at it is where we find, like you say, this power that that is um maybe even surprising to our ourselves, right? that That we possess that kind of power if we allow ourselves to look at it free it um Yeah, I get the goosebumps as you say that. And it reminds me of like a conversation I was having yesterday, kind of on this theme of like Unboxed and and moving towards and Unstoppable. But I was talking to a woman who...
Speaker: isn't just the thick of it. She's working full time. She's got twin three-year-olds. Like there's, there's a lot going on. And, and she was like, you know, I just gotta like suck it up. And like, this is where I'm at. And I'm like, no, I disagree with that. I think that regardless what we're going through, that we have, that the universe is here to serve us. And there's a co-creative element. I'm like, wouldn't it be so much better that if you,
Speaker: even if you can't podcast now or do some, you know, cause there's, so I talked to a lot of people that are like us that want to go make a difference right now. i'm like, you're in a season, but you can open yourself up to receive joy. You can open yourself up to love the experience, love the timeline that you're in. Because I tell you what, as a mom to kids who are in their twenties, I wish I could go back and be like the mom that was present. You know, I was a young mom. I was all over the place. So I'm like,
Speaker: wherever you're at, there's an opportunity to really just enjoy that space. So that's so good.
Speaker: And it it all goes back to what, what you started the conversation with is just start where you are, right? Be with yourself where you are, meet yourself where you're at and don't go out ahead of yourself, right? Don't dwell in the past, if you can really,
Speaker: start unboxing from that place of this is me right here, right now. I'm going to start doing the unboxing. And it's a, it's a beautiful gift to yourself. It is so beautiful. And I would love to just piggyback off that for a second, because I don't think we take the time to unbox most of us.
Speaker: And regardless what you've been through, Even the hard knocks, they have built your character. And like that is one of when I was in just using your framework, like my unboxing process.
Speaker: And I talk about it in my book, too, and stuff like that. But what realized is all the different things in addition to grief, of course, have more things in my in my history. But as I start unboxing them, i'm like, oh, that gave me a resilience.
Speaker: that gave me strength, that gave me creativity, that gave me curiosity. And I'm like, you know what, I'm no longer a victim to the circumstances I've been through. i love victim to victor type of storylines, but I'm like, I'm a victor, like, I am going to be victorious, I am going to rise, I have these skills now that like, people would die for, you know, and I like, yeah, I got in the hard way. But like, now they're mine.
Speaker: So what can I do with them now that I have these beautiful things from maybe the not so beautiful things that I've been through. Absolutely. And those affirmations that you were just saying, I'm going to rise. And that's so powerful, so powerful, because when we claim it, we really become it. We take on the energy of that, right? Like, yeah, I can rise. I am rising. I will rise.
Speaker: Powerful, powerful. I use the affirmations every day. and And literally, as I speak, I'm getting the goosies again. I have a question for you because I love this book is so good. There's so much goodness in this book. i return to radiance oh it's so good I love holding it in my hands and reading through it and and opening up opening it up daily, just asking, you know what do you want to what do you want to show me today about my radiance and my ability to claim my radiance?
Speaker: But I wonder what does radiance mean to you? I'd love the listeners to know because sometimes people just say, well, what is radiance or what is essence? What does that really mean anyway? Yeah. So in in Becca's world, what radiance means is um I look at our radiance in, think, a really cool way. I would say our radiance is made up of three parts.
Speaker: It's one part of our persona. So that's, you know, Becca, Michelle, you know, like, it's It's our persona that we're living in this life. And then I i feel like another part of it is our soul. So we're starting to and you know we're starting to open up to that infinite part of ourselves. So we have the finite part of ourselves, our persona, what we're here to learn in this lifetime, in this body.
Speaker: We have our soul, the endless part of us that travels with us over multiple lifetimes. And then there's this third part. And this is just the our the part of us that is pure cosmic, infinite intelligence.
Speaker: And so I love this because when I think of my radiance, I'm like, wow, you know, I am two thirds cosmic. You know, like it just you talk about wanting to get unboxed and unstoppable. I'm like, I am two thirds.
Speaker: Like my radiance is like is is always with me. It contains my gifts. It contains my talents, my skills. You know, my strengths, my uniqueness, my mission, my purpose is all there. And so much of that is so much more than just this persona.
Speaker: And I'm like, when that idea went off in my head that I feel like, um I don't know if you've ever watched the show Wheel of Time, but in it, they pull energy down.
Speaker: like the the the um sorceresses, they pull the energy down and then they whip it back out like how they want to use it. And that's kind of how I think about it is like we're already, our radiance is always around us like within our aura, but it's also extends beyond us. And it's something that you can like pull in and then cast back out how you need to use it.
Speaker: That is so powerful. I am two-thirds cosmic. That is so powerful. I love that. Thank you for sharing that with us. And Returning to Radiance, as is the title of your book, A Return to Radiance, is is doing the work right of of reclaiming yes that part of us, who we are, the the persona, yes, but the soul and that cosmic intelligence, cosmic aspect of who we are.
Speaker: that we can, when life, when the persona, when this physical self goes through life and moves through the dings and the hurts and the disappointments,
Speaker: that part of us that is you know beyond the physical. The part of us that we that entered into the physical, came from somewhere, is now with us in this physical, and then we'll move on you know once we leave the physical. I always think putting an age on ourselves is is an interesting thing. I understand from the physical, but oh my goodness, we came from somewhere.
Speaker: We're going somewhere. I mean, I don't know how old I am. Maybe I'm like thousands of years old. you Exactly. like Right on. i I feel pretty good to be a thousand. But you know we we box those parts of ourselves away and we forget.
Speaker: We forget that they're real and they exist and they're yearning for for us to experience our soul, our cosmic intelligence while we are here in the physical. And yes, as you said, the and.
Speaker: We can experience the persona of who we are and the soul and the cosmic intelligence. I just felt the goosebumps all the way up to my face. Yes.
Speaker: So much yes. And and the that's why for me, the unboxing, the putting down the burdens that maybe we've picked up, thought we had to carry around, those things that weigh us down, the moment we understand, yeah and and it's normally for me, I think, and I've found with myself and with others, it's a moment when something happens and that box, a particular box will start to rattle so loud, you can no longer understand. ignore It's not a whisper. It's a wail.
Speaker: And we have to deal with it. We've got to crack it open. I'm not saying we throw the the lid off all in one setting, but we crack it open and we let a little light in and we start to process it. And when we do unbox that thing fully, as you were saying, there there will be more boxes.
Speaker: But as we put the the burdens down and we open up the boxes and one box after the other, lo and behold, we feel so, I think, I have experienced an expansiveness that would never have come to me had I not begun that journey. I think sometimes we ruminate potentially on the thing that's causing us most the most pain versus how we can transmute that thing to maybe give us the most purpose and maybe even pleasure. i know that might sound like a ah mind trip to someone who's really going through it, but you know, I, um you know, I'm in a place after ah all the reflection and and believing in this concept that my radiance is a part of me and that I'm here to express it in this lifetime is a much more positive mindset. And am now just like,
Speaker: almost like winking at the universe. Like what, what is possible? Like, what is that full expression of myself? What does, you know, the, the questions I ask myself now are like, what does the full expression of my happiness look like?
Speaker: What does the full expression of my health look like? My wealth, my, you know, potential, of my purpose, the impact I can make, like those questions are so much more exciting.
Speaker: And, um, life filling, right? Energy producing, then why did this happen to me?
Speaker: Just feel the energy of that. Yeah. Right. It's a distinct difference in the energy. I ask myself every day, I ask the universe, I throw this up to God each and every day.
Speaker: Help me to live the fullest expression of who I'm here to be. Air five. Air five. And you just mentioned that and another moment of goosebumps because that's that's how I want to live and that's how I want to help other women live. The fullest expression of who we're here to be.
Speaker: Open me up. Yes. I'm going to fall on my knees. I know. I'm going to make mistakes. I'm experience loss and it's all hard and it's heartbreaking. But help me to always rise. Help me to always desire to seek that fullest expression of who I'm here to be because...
Speaker: You know, as you mentioned, our ancestors are watching us. They want that for us. And those we love who are here with us right now in the physical are watching, right? And we're watching whether we recognize it or not.
Speaker: We're watching ourselves. That elevated version of ourselves, like how I said, our radiance is two thirds. i I do believe that there is a wiser, higher self that is a part of our everyday. That's kind of like trying to be like, look up, you know, extend your hand, ask for help.
Speaker: you know, ask for clarity, it can come, you know, but that, that persona part of us has to, has to connect with that. And I think, you know, I i like where my thoughts are going, because I want to just share that.
Speaker: I believe part of what the great suffering is right now, is that disconnection from a radiance or that disconnection from that two thirds cosmic expression of ourselves, we know something's missing, but everyone's like,
Speaker: You know, i I'm working, I'm doing all the things, but I'm just not happy. Or, you know, I have put so much love and time into this thing, but I'm just not fulfilled.
Speaker: And it's just very interesting when you start listening to the conversations. There's like this, some people have big suffering, but there's just like this disconnection where people are living in like ah an acceptable level of like tolerance for things that they don't want to be experiencing. Mm-hmm.
Speaker: and And would you suggest if someone is listening and they're thinking, yeah, that's kind of me. i'm I'm kind of stuck in the muck of just the daily, the grind. Yeah.
Speaker: um How do you lead them toward um beginning to recognize our...
Speaker: grabbing a hold of a willingness just to take a glimpse of what it might look like to go a little deeper and connect with the soul of who you are. Yeah. i owe I think the starting point that I always like to say, and like, for me, I'm a dreamer, so it's it's ah a nice thing, I'm like, permission to dream again.
Speaker: and Just that permission at some point in adulting, we become disconnected from that, that magic, that spark, you know, it doesn't have to be a big dream of being like, I think this is what happens as where i was going to say, it doesn't have to be the big spark of being an actor, famous actress or musician or Olympic gold medalist, which I think you went by the time you hit 35 or so you're like, Oh, that season's over right now. I just gotta like,
Speaker: except that I'm just part of the but machine, right? um But that's just not true. I mean, so many people have had their biggest impact in this later season, you you know, post 35. I'm just using that as a middle marker.
Speaker: And then also you can do things for joy. And when I say permission to dream again, like I have seen people when I start this conversation, I'm like, just give yourself permission to do the thing that you, that you maybe even just dream of doing. Some people just want to garden because they, it brings them back to their elementals. Right.
Speaker: Or some people, I have seen so many women return to dance classes, ballroom dancing, and I'm like, don't even make it a competitive thing. Just do it.
Speaker: And then the spirit enters, right? With each twirl, you're now back in a co-creative energy with God universe. Like, Permission to dream again would be my answer, but I just had to like dork out.
Speaker: and Oh, I love that. No, I thank you for dorking out because dorking out along with you. I so believe that. And I do believe as we as we mature as women, we have all this wisdom to share. and And maybe we don't see it as wisdom in the moment, but if you really look back and you look at the evidence of your life and what you have overcome,
Speaker: um what you've moved through, think that is um such a ah like ah power um booster shot. We were talking about booster shots earlier. A power booster shot because you go, oh, I did move through that. That was hard.
Speaker: But look how I rose up. or You know, i I used my voice in that moment and and I was afraid, but I did it. I did it anyway. I did it scared. Right?
Speaker: And you began to see and you begin to curate these moments, these these moments of evidence of what you're really made of and what it is you can do and accomplish and achieve. And that never stops.
Speaker: You know, to put it in a box of, oh, well, that was then? oh We're living right here, right now. Start where you are and give yourself permission to dream. Connect to that little girl inside of yourself and really its fun enjoy her, right?
Speaker: Enjoy her, watch her dance, envision her dancing and join in that dance of life. um it's an It's an evolution. We're continually evolving and we have so much to offer as women. I got to tell you, um one of the things that's burning A burning question.
Speaker: regular im very jersey i want to i want to ask you, as as we, here we are, women working to live the fullest expression of who we are, that encompasses so much. It didn' also encompasses the work that we feel called to do, right? Yes. As you continue to build your business and as I continue to do um the building of a business,
Speaker: i I wanted to share this quote, and I know it's going to resonate with you too, and I know you know it. It's business is a spiritual game, Tony Robbins, right? The first time I heard that, it really struck me because I think it highlights that true success um in in business, right? Let's just but look at business for a moment.
Speaker: It really goes far beyond the profits and the strategies or the transactions. It's really, it it also includes personal growth and meaning and purpose.
Speaker: confusion and absurd Yes. Yes. Our business, our work, our professional selves, truly reflection of who we are. And oftentimes we want to segment that into one thing, but it's really all things.
Speaker: And I know that that's here in in the book, right? you're You're stressing this, that business is a spiritual game and we bring all of ourselves into it, right?
Speaker: Every aspect of who we are. There's just so much I can say about that. But what I will say is this fear our spirituality, generally speaking, like not you and I are tapped in but ah you know I have such expertise in in corporate America.
Speaker: And I don't shy away that the piece that is missing is the spiritual game. like i And that's why I wrote A Return to Radiance because my audience is so corporified. And I'm like, you want to know why you're miserable?
Speaker: Because you're not connected to your soul, you know? And the thing is, like for the listeners, it's a journey. And and I didn't get to my relationship with my beliefs in this overnight. It's been a journey of many years.
Speaker: But what I can say is that the work I do now, while I do make a living through it, changes people's lives. I get email, like, you know, you're an author too, Michelle, the first time, you know, it's so scary, the vulnerability of putting your writing out into the world.
Speaker: But then the first time that you get ah message on Instagram saying your book changed my life, like I could still tear like i like, Oh my God, like, it made all the pain worth it. It made and it goes back to the wisdom part within within us.
Speaker: you know, the, the, um, whether you want to call it the the matriarch or something like that, um, the wise one the elder, every, every season of our life, we have an evolution. We gain more wisdom.
Speaker: And what I have learned is that the more we share that wisdom in a way that is aligned with our passion and purpose, it also creates profits for us. And, or let me say a better word,
Speaker: prosperity, because that looks different for everyone. But I'm a, I'm a big fan of also making money, right? its Because I have a large family, like we like, i mean, i don't even have to justify why I like making money, because I think most people do. But, you know, the reason I started to say is like, think, when when you have a limitation around money, you also lose the impact of what you can do when you have it.
Speaker: And so if you can combine spirituality with business and prosperity, boy are you really going to make an impact. And I will tell you, um i really had to, when I when i entered, you know you know i was in television news for many years, and then I left that world, raised my kids, and then embarked on this entrepreneurial journey.
Speaker: and desire that I had to help adoptees and women, um i really had to unbox my relationship to money. Because my adoptive father would always say to me, um if someone has money, they must have stolen it or they had to cheat you know cheat to get it.
Speaker: And it always sort of carried a bad connotation of like, ooh, it must not be good to even desire that. But then when I connected, when when I unboxed my relationship to money and I realized and recognized how it can be such a force for God. And when it's in alignment with my soul's work, that's when everything That's what I'm talking about. That click, that alignment is mind boggling. And i just, you know, as you're starting to talk about the business, that's what I wanted the listeners to know is that there is this world where, you know, your personal power meets your passion and purpose meets prosperity
Speaker: And it's all a force for good. I love that you said that. It's all force for good. Absolutely. absolutely um I love that so much. and I could talk to you all day. I'm like, are we almost that time already?
Speaker: Oh my gosh. Okay. So I want to start just, and I would love, you know, at the beginning of your book, um you start with your power method and I love frameworks.
Speaker: um And this is your method for helping people become really everything they're meant to be, right? Everything that we've been talking about. And I'd love for you to explain your power method because it's so good. And maybe you pull one,
Speaker: um piece of it out to share with us, whatever you want to share. Yeah, I'd love to. And um I think I'm going to, ah well, I'll briefly go over there what the acronym stands for, but then I'm going to pull piece from the first one.
Speaker: So the P is for protect your potential. You can't reach your potential if you're if you haven't learned how to protect it. That's, you know, Phase one.
Speaker: Then we're going to move in to um own your opportunities. This is kind of that narrative that I was saying, like you're starting to identify what you've learned through what you've gone through. You've been able to change your meaning because the your meanings and beliefs and your values and how you rationalize and relate to all those things are the things that are making your subconscious decisions.
Speaker: So I'm always really big on like, you gotta to get you got to master your mindset. There's a lot in this persona that controls the outcomes. And so there's that piece. And then there's waking yourre waking your worthiness, which is this radiance. This is reconnecting with that two thirds cosmic part.
Speaker: You were born to deserve everything. There's nothing that separates you from me or me from the listeners. We were all born inherently worthy. of that expression, that full expression of who we are and that's health, wealth, happiness, fulfillment, passion, purpose. Like I could go on and on with all these wonderful words, but I really do believe that. So I spent a lot of time in like needing to, you know, you know, align to your personal power, awaken it, um own this idea of being inherently worthy. How different would your decisions be if you already knew you were? Hmm.
Speaker: And then I move in to elevate your energy because just like you know Tony Robbins says, you know business is a spiritual game. Life is an energy game. And if you're in low vibe, you're probably going to have a lower quality life. And if you're in high energy, you're probably going to have a higher quality life. So I really get big onto like the spiritual practices, and mantra, meditation, movement, um chakras even. like There's this whole energy game out there and we all learn how to play it.
Speaker: And then the the final expression or letter in the and the power method would be rock your radiance. It's like, after you've done all that delicious work, you get to like shine in it, you know, bask in it, start making like where we just ended this conversation, start doing the thing that makes a difference, make an impact, build your legacy, live into the light of who you are.
Speaker: You know, so it's this beautiful thing. But I think in the ah spirit ah of starting the conversation and unboxed. I think one of the things that I would like to share as a practical tip to the listeners is just a little, my two cents on your choices, your choices design your future period.
Speaker: And choice only has two paths women. i mean, are we, we're very thorough with our decisions. You know, we talk, we think about ourselves, our partners, our kids, our coworkers, like, you know, decisions could take days sometimes, you know, like have it' the amount of, and that, that is what makes us unique.
Speaker: I will also say it is the thing that sabotages us the most. And so our choice, I write, and I believe that our choices have two paths. Our choices either serve us or they sabotage us.
Speaker: They empower us or they disempower us. They help us or they hurt us. And so if you can, take this from this conversation, say, oh, wow, like I can own my choices. And before I make one, I can ask myself, does this choice serve me or does it sabotage me?
Speaker: And I always say, and I'm going to give it back to you in a second, but I always say there's, it's not like a black or white thing. Sometimes we have to go to the wedding or pick up our kids when we just want to take a bath. Like what I am saying is,
Speaker: just by you acknowledging how you feel, you've began to change that relationship. you begun You've now are in the control seat of your life.
Speaker: And so for for another example, if I am going to say yes to something that I know is going to zap me, i give myself permission to do something that I enjoy.
Speaker: So that I get to fill that back up. It's not just like, ah Yes to this. Like this is like I put my mom, my mom hat on my mom. wife Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. And then at the end of the day, I'm living from empty. Yeah, that game doesn't happen anymore. and And I think choice, having the relationship with choice that I have has been one of the most empowering things that I've embraced.
Speaker: It's so important. And so many women come to me within coaching, they say, I really struggle with making decisions in my life. I don't know where to get the traction because I feel like I'm just living for everybody else.
Speaker: And so my own ability to connect with what is important for me, the thing that I value, gets sabotaged. And the voice gets muted, and I struggle.
Speaker: And I end up just not making the decision, right? And then life begins to happen to us. And life is meant to happen for us. The hard, the dark, and the loss, the disappointments, and they're real.
Speaker: But there's a lesson in everything. Wouldn't you agree? There's a lesson. A thousand percent. That's why I'm here on the other side thriving, because I believe that it doesn't it doest take away the pain or the situation that I've been through.
Speaker: But again, I can be like, who have I become? That's the right question to ask. Who have become? And in that, there is lesson, but beyond that, there is learning. There learning in it all.
Speaker: And when we're open to the learning, we evolve and we become more and more and more of who we're here to be. And that gets very clear. And once it's clear, once you feel that power, you are absolutely unstoppable.
Speaker: I was just going to say, Michelle, I was just going to pick up that too. was like, I was thinking, like, if you didn't say it, was to be like, what if you said like, what if I was unstoppable?
Speaker: Like what if that was a question you asked yourself? Like, what if I was unstoppable? Yeah. What would that look like? What would my next step look like? Sometimes when you are not there yet, just pretend that you are and ask yourself that question. Because listen, I haven't had it figured out many times, but I have been like, what if in the positive way, like we play the what if game in the bad way? Like, what if I do that?
Speaker: Well, what if you did it the other direction? Amen. Amen. amen And, you know, so many reasons why i love this conversation and I love you. And I just did the reminder that we're not alone.
Speaker: And it's the reminder that as women, we have so much wisdom to share and so much goodness to give. And when we lean into this community of women, it's like, yeah, can do anything.
Speaker: Look what she's overcome, what she's doing. and And you feel that and you know it's real because it's it's it's meant for us. It's made for us. I urge all those listening to please,
