Speaker: Our story begins in a far and distant land, a place ruled by houses of sentient animals and mythical creatures, an environment that is forever tipping the scales towards controversy and conflict. Grave danger lies hidden in every tavern, forest, and stranger's glance. In this kingdom, we will follow a deviant group of adventurers, brought together by chance, or perhaps by fate.

Speaker: This ragtag group of a tortle, a tabaxi, an otter, and a hound will travel across this great kingdom, fighting their way through the unknown and weaving a powerful destiny. This is Rolling Across the Pond.

Speaker: Hey everyone, welcome back to Early Cross the Pond. We are doing Animal Kingdom today, and we're close to the end. I don't know if it's gonna be tonight, it's gonna be the next one, I don't know, but we're close to the end. That's enough about me, I'm your GM Jesse, and yeah, let's go to the players, so.

Speaker: Hi! Hi, I'm Halva! I can't wait to get back to see you guys all again and defeat some bad guys and do some other stuff. So, uh, thanks! I mean, we'll see you there. I don't know. That's Davida. Trying to get back into character. Yeah, you know, that's me, Davida. I'll play Halva, and I'm being a weird accent now. Australian, oh, look.

Speaker: Hi, I'm Luke, and I'm gonna play Silas, and I don't think there's any discerning energy levels for him. I'll just be monotone for right now. Hi, I'm Lee. I play the lovable Monk, Goro, Tortle, everyone's favorite, kill people, beat stick, machine. Yes. It's gonna be interesting. I'm excited to see where we're going in this session, because obviously, yeah, he saw his dad and a bit of a revelation, and we'll see where it goes. We'll see where it goes. I'm excited.

Speaker: I don't know what it is, but it's not American.

Speaker: Alright, so to recap, I'm not going to even ask anybody here what they remember, because it has been a millennium and a half, so I will do a recap.

Speaker: You guys had come back together, found each other in this new territory that is held by King L. Ross's community through random acts of kindness. I'm not sure if it was me or you, but you guys found each other in a tent. You listened to Caesar and he wanted to fix the pyramid.

Speaker: So Caesar had said convictingly that he wanted to fix the pyramid, that he allowed to be unleashed. So you went on a mission to do that. You then went to pyramid and through that you had a few encounters. You encountered the ancient dragon that lived there. And while the battle commenced, Tava sent Goro to a different dimension with the snake, not the dragon. And you also released

Speaker: My goodness, what was his name Steve V right? No, I wasn't Steve a more full name, but V what? His name is now Steve his name Steve. Okay, cool. It's shortened it. He's changed Steve

Speaker: You found Steve in the marvel who had intimidated the dragon for you guys to escape and so you escaped but you found that Goro's dad was there waiting for you along with the other mystic monks that were the elite of the kingdom of old the volden kingdom they're both the kingdom of olden and you fought them i say fought quotation nully because

Speaker: They destroyed you guys, but by some miracle, Steve got you out, you were running back to the camp. Doing that, a lot of things have also taken place that you guys don't know about, that different roles had commenced, and you were found and standing in front of seven and a few others about being held captive.

Speaker: That is what the last episode showed. What we're going to do now is we're going to fast forward. So I'm just going to fill you in on the bit of blanks that happened because Hava's too weak to fight. A lot of you are too weak to fight. So in that you generally just accepted that you're going to be captured. So you all decide best to do that. You get captured.

Speaker: And you are put in a prison cell that doesn't look like a prison cell. It looks like somebody's house. But there are bars around you and there are different cells in this house. It looks like a dining room.

Speaker: Yeah, some time has passed, just trying to get Hava to be full strength, to get Silas to figure out what to do next. Steve and that emotional roller coaster. Goro, you're also trying to heal up. It's the King's army that took us into...

Speaker: Yes king no no no so the king is dead so he isn't it's no longer his army it is the the volden elite that's that okay that's the name of the okay well basically what used to be the king's army

Speaker: Yeah. What used to be the head of the army. Right. So King Darrin's old army have taken you in captive. Along with others, you also don't have Avalon. He's not there with you. That's where we're going to start. I keep on shouting, bring me to your leader because I'm done with being captive. I want to talk to someone important. Bring me to your leader.

Speaker: you just see the guy that's bringing the food. It's a cheap handsy. Even though I've been healing up, I keep on saying this, so it's been happening the entire time I've been in prison. Oh yeah, no, I understand. Okay, I wanted to make that clear to everybody that she has been calling for the leader this whole time that she's been in prison. Even though you jump time zones, this is what's happened in the past.

Speaker: Or not time for that, good time. So he whispers to his colleague and then he drops a rotting dead anteater in front of you and throws some salad in there. I think that's about it, yeah. Yeah, I take a leg off of it and just throw it at the guy. Bring me to your leader! Roll me in a pack, roll. Okay, then that is 21.

Speaker: Okay. You, you throw, you throw it at him and we'll say roll me a B six. That's a five. Can I add something to that too?

Speaker: No, no, I don't think so. So you throw it at him and like the bone that's popping out, it like just slices a part of his arm. Oh, she did it again. And there's already a doctor and they're just like, yeah, okay. Yeah. Like wrap, wrap it about like, yeah, this letter talks, let her talk. They leave you alone. What do you guys, do you want to talk amongst yourselves?

Speaker: I'll just be like, I'll find you. I will find you. Just speak later. Once I get out of here, then I'll turn to the guy. You see a coyote hold up the sign. It says, we know you took my tongue. Like a wily coyote who always holds up. He's guest starring, but at the same time it's not him.

Speaker: And then I'll basically just like give him a glare and then I'll look at the, they'll go turn back to the guys and be like, so, um, what's the plan? We got to get out of here and Caesar is not here or he is in prison with us. Caesar is not with you. Okay. And then my dad's not, it's just the three of us in prison. It's just the three of you.

Speaker: Did we know what happened to Caesar when we got imprisoned? Since you did time jump. We're all history. I think we should all roll this then. Yeah. History. No, right. That's an eight. Eight, I mean. You can't remember. I rolled a 13.

Speaker: Okay. Goro, you just remember that when you guys were being carried off to be processed and whatever, however they do it back in the old days, you don't remember seeing Caesar. Do we know if Seven also got arrested and as well as? Seven did get arrested, but he's not in this block. And then Sam's character, what was that character? The bird? Avalon? No, he's not there.

Speaker: Yeah, but we don't know what happened to him. No, I mean, you could roll for 15. 15. Okay. Anyone else? I'm gonna I'm gonna ask something in a sec. So you do your thing first. Another nine.

Speaker: Okay, so you know that they separated him from you in that moment. Then I guess you don't have your weapons, by the way, just FYI. Yeah, I mean, that makes sense. And then I probably look at my necklace pen brooch and just try and think of there's a way I can use this to unlock something or whatever. I'm just like trying to come up with ideas to like see if I can figure out a way out of here.

Speaker: I want you to roll. Goro, please ask what you were going to ask. With us hanging out with Caesar, obviously it's been a while since we played, was Caesar, he was a bastard son of Darren, right? Yes.

Speaker: And Darrin was the king of what kingdom? Volden Kingdom. Well, he was kingdom of everything. He was the king of everything. The whole, the whole thing. But he was, yeah, his home base was Volden. And we're in custody with the Volden elite and Caesar is not here. Yeah. Okay. I'm just curious. As, as Luke, he's trustworthy. As Silas, he's not trustworthy. So he's probably, he's probably taken over.

Speaker: Thank you. That's exactly what I'm thinking. Paba thought that Cesar is trustworthy but is starting to question his motivation because it didn't seem to align with Paba's motivation.

Speaker: Because Caesar wants to stop the magical enchantments and like contain them. That's his motivation. But Havas is to make peace and finish like solving like the whole, you know, war that's happening right here. So she's starting to question whether or not Caesar actually has the best intentions. It seems pretty convenient though at the same time that he's not here and we are.

Speaker: Yeah. I mean, I'm hoping he's, he's pretty much, I hope he's doing well, but I don't really want to, to have, it doesn't really want to do what Caesar wants her to do anymore because she wants to go her own way or whatever to do the thing that she said she was going to do. She got sidetracked by the whole pyramid thing and really regretted it. So, and that was Caesar's idea. So in, in, um, Hava's like time in being in prison, she's been journaling and like,

Speaker: really reflecting on Hava's been having dreams about Caesar asking her to do something that, and she does it, but it ends up making her lose somebody or something she loves. And so, which, which is just harkening back to like stuff that's actually happened, like the whole, like she went after the sword in, in the cold area.

Speaker: Dakota Winterhold. Winterhold, thank you. And when that happened, that was when she left PJ behind because she was too focused on Caesar's objectives. And she forgot she needed PJ with her and didn't go back for him. And he got left behind and suffered or like he lost his sense of self or whatever. When she finally reunited with him, she found how how damaged he was from this whole experience.

Speaker: Oh, he's also not in this in this in these cells. OK, yeah. So basically all that is stuff that Hava has been going through. And I think she would have been telling Goro about all that, too. So that's what I'm telling you right now, because I think during this time being in prison, Hava would have told Goro all about what she's feeling about Caesar and and just like, yeah.

Speaker: You know, kind of some of her regrets. And yeah, so she would have been open, open up, open up with Goro with a lot of those things. And Silas and V are just there. They're, it's fine. She doesn't care if they're listening in. She's not necessarily friends with them. She's just kind of confused by them, I think. Yeah, I feel our list of regrets is combining into quite a long list. I like it.

Speaker: Okay, so then we need to get some intel. While I'm trying to figure out how to unlock this though, I do think that I would also try and get information off of the guards. But then I probably end up attacking them. I was doing well, well, Hava and Goro are talking. I'm just going to say that the way they got injured was I was trying to get information off of them. They could not get, they wouldn't give me anything. And so I would injure them.

Speaker: That's just true. I like that. I love how she says this and then follows it up with it's canon. I don't care if Jesse said it or not. That's what happened. That's how they got injured. It happened with Ava in her brain. She wakes up. It was all a dream. It's not as interesting as what Ava is doing. He's like trying to write a letter or like he's using mage hand to grab the food because he doesn't feel like getting up, but it's all just like depression.

Speaker: And Steve just walks up to me and he's like, hey, are you okay? And then use the mage hand to push him. You can't shove him or anything. It's just like trying to push him. Okay. I'm here if you need anything. Am I supposed to be here? Crumple the paper and throw it. How do brother things work? What? How do we... Do I... How do we brother? Yeah, how do I brother? First of all, at this point you've failed.

Speaker: Do you even remember the last time we met? At this point, you failed. And then it just felt like trying to push them. Thanks. Okay. I'm working on it. I... Okay. How? Hold up. I just fell the mage hand. How? How are you brothering better than the last time we met? I'm here. John was here. I convinced one of them to put me in this cell. Sure. And you know what it's like to put people in cells.

Speaker: Goro is just having flashbacks of arguments with Lee like right now. I don't think he has vicious mockery, if that's what you're talking about. Vicious mockery. Holy crap. Roll me before. Emotional damage. Sounds like it. He takes two damage of psychic damage because it really hurt us. I don't know if you want me to tell you what I'm like trying to write a letter to, but

Speaker: crumples it up again, throws it, not good enough. Oh, okay. So how's, how's the, how's the other brother? Have you, I'm going to go over here. He like stands at the other corner. He's like, Hey, can I have my meat cooked, please?

Speaker: And they pull out a platter and they walk over to him and they're like, oh yeah, here, there you go. They had it already ready for him and everything. He's like, thank you. And he just starts eating this nicely cooked chicken. Has he always been able to get good meals this whole time? This whole time, yeah. Have I been able to get good meals? No, you've been having trash.

Speaker: Even though I tell them, give me some good food. So he has some sort of persuasion. Roll me insight, roll me insight. I was like, let me roll on insight. Uh, 14. 14. You finally take a moment to realize what's happening after like a week or something like this. And you, you notice he casts charm person on them.

Speaker: Because I feel like Hava has usually been like kind of magic, kind of like doesn't understand it this whole time. I mean, she's starting to - You just notice a shimmer. You notice like a shimmer over the guy's face and body. Okay, so yeah, I think Hava will finally realize, and I'll just whisper to him, you've been charming these people this whole time, using magic against them? Well, yeah, they weren't listening to me otherwise.

Speaker: Well, if you could get them to bring you good food, can't you get them to let us out? Did you ever think of that? I could have done that a long time ago, yes. Steve! That's how come I came in here. I've been trying to get out of here these last couple weeks. What? I apologize. I was trying to reconnect with my brother. Well, that doesn't seem to be happening, so let's get out of here.

Speaker: Are you sure? I feel like I made great progress. He only hurt me two damage today. Frumple's up. He's playing a pro at his head. Before that happens, I want to use an action. I want to do deflect missile attack, because that was technically thrown at him. Okay, so you're going to catch it? Oh, hell yeah, I want to catch it. I mean, it'd probably be a d4, right? Or...

Speaker: because it has to do with the damage. So it's... It's just basically me. I mean, they'd say you could probably catch the paper if you're gonna use that. Yeah. I don't think you need to roll. Okay. Cool. I just catch it. And then I just immediately go, okay. You two have a lot of baggage. I'm cool with that. But now, knowing that we can get out of here, cool. You can either come with us or be against us. I just need to get out of here. And I need to get Haver out of here. Yeah, because I've been driving everyone nuts, I think.

Speaker: 100%. Gora doesn't say that, obviously. At least she's self -aware. So, I have a gut feeling that the guy that we were supposed to be helping actually is the biggest douchebag ever, and ages ago. So you agree with me on Caesar, then? Oh, yeah. Okay. We all unanimously agree with Caesar. Do you want to know why I'm off on Caesar? He interrupted something at a funeral, and I immediately hated the guy since, haven't I? I've not liked the guy ever since.

Speaker: I mean, he ruined my life. He literally just resigned when the hell's going on. And literally, I was like, I think he was more like, I don't care. He wasn't listening to you when you were trying to talk to Hava. That was the other thing. He wouldn't give you his earpiece. That's right. Yes, I don't. I don't like the guy or like.

Speaker: Cool. So, um, let's just, let's just say we don't like this guy, right? I don't trust him anymore. Like technically, well, I technically, I think he's out for good, but he seems more selfish to me than initially. I thought he was out for like real good, but after reflecting this time in prison and all this kind of stuff, I'm coming to realize that I think he doesn't really have my

Speaker: My intentions, you know, like he's, he's, he's, he's going in a different direction and I'm okay with that. I don't, I'm not going to be dragged around by Caesar anymore. So I don't dislike him, but I just don't believe in his, his, I don't, I don't know. Sidebar. Roll everyone at this, at this point, roll me perception. Ooh. They're holding that one.

Speaker: A dirty d20. A d20, nice. Yeah, 18 plus, 18 plus two. 18, nice. How about you, you get so heated by this conversation. I mean, it's a plus six, still a plus six, but yeah. You get heated by this conversation and you are holding your fist. You don't even realize it, but your paw is clenched so tightly that you are cutting into your own hand. I want you to take a d4 of damage. That's a one.

Speaker: that's great. Goro and Silas you both hear in the distance trumpets and shouting like fight is breaking out and you hear Goro you not knowing them very long and not knowing this but you can recognize an unknown battle cry because you don't necessarily know with

Speaker: place this is coming from, you don't know if it's bold, you don't know winter hold, but your background, you can recognize a battle cry anyways. So you recognize that. And you also recognize there's another kind of atmospheric thing that is happening to where you can recall this feeling from when the Baloch King was entering the winter hold.

Speaker: and his trumpets were coming into your head you're recognizing there's two different things happening and then you hear the volden kingdom music or not music but their trumpets sounding so there's like a fierce battle between these three nations as of right now for the outside not close but outside

Speaker: Silas, you kind of get the most of that, but you don't get the clarity that it is the Baloch Kingdom. Guys, we need to go now, while we have the opportunity of surprise to get out of here. I know, I'm trying to get... Steve, can you do this? Can you persuade the guards to get us out? Yeah.

Speaker: Okay, do it now. Okay. Hey. I mean, please. Hey, you. The coyote walks over and he puts his sign around and says, what? And he says, well, my brother and I still aren't doing too well. Doesn't seem to be working. We need a different sphere. Can we leave, please? He's like, yeah. Okay.

Speaker: Like he has another sign and he shrugs and he gets the key and he goes, so I'll lock you sick. I'll just turn around and go to like side us and he's like, you want to come with, or are you just going to sit there and mope and write letters? Oh, I'd look to Steven and be like, I'm not going to be able to stay here. Aren't I? You're going to make me come. It's, it's, oh, it's up to you. All right, let's go. I'll stay here too. We can stay together.

Speaker: That's even worse. Let's go. I'm looking for a way to tie up the coyote guard. Are you? Can you go dig a long hole in the back? Just just and then lying, please.

Speaker: That'll work. That'll do. Switches to another card and he's like, yes, sure. And he like, he walks away. Awesome. First things first, we need to find the armoury where all your weapons are and all your armour and stuff is. We need to find that, get that on. No role perception. Okay. Well, actually, if you're going to leave, then leave this place first, unless you want to look into here first.

Speaker: Well, I would assume like it's a prison, right? So like they would know. No, no, it's a house. It's a house. And you see a staircase to the left. Are there other compartments holding other animals here? Do I know that for a fact or is it? No, there is. So what you see is now that you've exited, you see three cells behind you and then you see one to the right, like the bottom right of you. And you see the dining table, you see a desk and that's basically what's down here.

Speaker: Okay. And nobody was in here besides the coyote. Yeah, just the coyote. You did see like a few of them run out because of there's a fight happening, but always one has to stay. Okay. So yeah, I think we got to look through the house to see if our weapons are here. Yeah. That's the best way of doing it. Let's try and find all our gear and stuff. Cause you guys know what you, you know, what your gear looks like. I have no gear, so it's pretty dope for me.

Speaker: Is Silas? Yeah, so everyone role is well or is investigation or perception. It's a 14 for perception.

Speaker: 26 investigation. Okay. Perception -wise, you don't see anything. You do see a light up on the upstairs. Silas, you... What would you be? Silas' character is looking for Davida's stuff. His personality would be looking for Davida's stuff. Oh, sure. Of course. Of course. So you... Okay. Recognizing what it is... No, no. Lou, you saying you're going through Davida's stuff? To help her.

Speaker: Okay. If he did, I would just have picked him up by the car and go like, what are you doing? But if you're helping, that's fine.

Speaker: Yeah, exactly. I know. I know. Do you see a small shack outside that has a glint of a shiny red handle? Right? Red handle? It's got a hilt, a red... Oh, the gem. Yeah, the hilt, yeah. Yeah. And the gem. Yeah. You see that on the outside. I won't pick it up. I'll be like, is this yours, Princess? Just because I look back at Goro who's like, stardaggers at me. Absolutely. I'm not going to be anywhere near that thing. Is that yours?

Speaker: I'd just be like, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's fine. You can just call me have it and then I'll be like, Oh yeah, that's my nice.

Speaker: And as he does say princess as well, Steve just like goes on his knees. Oh, princess. Stop, Steve. Get up. Princess of this land. I'm sorry. I did not realize. No, he were annoyed because I feel like Silas would have been saying this all the time. Every single time he addresses her, he would have said that. So I mean, you still do. He would still the same response.

Speaker: And every time I'm just like, it's Hava, Hava, Hava. Was that how they pronounce princess here? Yeah. Okay, Hava. See, Silas, you just gotta ask these things. You're being rude. This is royalty. Hava is, that's what they call princesses.

Speaker: Oh my goodness, clever. He walks outside. He's like, it's been cold here. That's weird. I've got all my stuff back, right? Yeah, yeah. You guys all go out to the shed and you find a load of different weapons and weapons. Quick question. My dad's gone. It's not there, is it? You roll me an investigation. Oh, crap.

Speaker: Come on, at 20. Come on, at 20. They only grabbed weapons, right? That's not a nat 20. No, no, they grabbed whatever you were holding as in like, I mean, like, obviously, Hava still had her medallion because she said she did. And I just thought they might have looted the battleground, but they haven't. They probably took my backpack with all my stuff in it, too. With the cards, playing my cards. They wouldn't have just been like decorative origami flowers. No, they didn't. They didn't get your cards. Yeah. OK.

Speaker: Can you remind me what happened to the marbles? Steve has them. Steve took them back. Steve took them. Why? Did I give them to him or I can't remember? No, no, he stole them from you. Oh, so I'm looking for them. Goro, have you seen my marbles? Though I have not seen your marbles. I wish we had them because, well, actually the last one you threw almost killed me. Yeah, I don't, but I still need my marbles.

Speaker: I know, but I would rather have someone who might know what they are and pick out and give us a little bit of insight to them so we can throw the correct ones at the correct targets. Steve, do you know where the marbles are? I have what you call marbles? Yes, they're mine. Oh, sick. Right. Well, I know that you made them, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're... Wait a minute. Okay. How did you get them?

Speaker: Can I pass message to Goro to be like, he's not, he's playing a dork. He's not actually, don't trust him. And I'll just be like, you know, so, so last gave them to me. Remember, I told you this already.

Speaker: Yeah, exactly. You took them from a person who took them from something, which was my. Sorry, these are very dangerous things. I was trapped in it for many years. Please let me take hold of them. Oh, that would suck. You can keep them. Have you got any ones that are just like really powerful, like fireball? That'd be pretty dope. No, I'm sorry. I didn't find any.

Speaker: Okay, so we acquired them from the person that acquired them from you. Okay, that's cool. So what's going on over there seems very dangerous. Are you because I'm assuming you know what you're doing with these things because we ain't got a clue. If we need to use them, I'm assuming you will be able to use the correct one at the correct time that can help us out.

Speaker: Sure. And, and how we will not along to that. She, she agrees because she's done some bad things with these marbles before. She just felt like she did rely on them as a crutch, even in the pyramid. Some bad things happen with marbles and, uh, you know, for instance, sending Goro to an alternate dimension, all that. So she, she understands, but she also still wants them.

Speaker: Now that you're outside, roll perception again. And so it begins the fall. Okay. 21. 30, 20.

Speaker: Six. So girl, you're a bit bummed that there's no fireball, not knowing that in a previous or an alternate reality, there was a fireball and you would have almost gotten your arm blown off, but didn't happen. Davida, you now hear the trumpet fighting and it's like,

Speaker: It's coming to reality and something inside you says, dad's home. He's here and he's fighting to, to gain this land. Yeah. Yeah. You do see a shell secretly in the distance, like, like it like swiftly moves past you, but it's still, you saw a glimpse of it inside. Silas, you saw that too. No, no, no, no. Like it was like jumping from alleyway to alleyway trying to stay hidden.

Speaker: someone's in this shell yes it's really bugging lee i can tell okay so i'll be like i think that was gora's dad we gotta get back to my dad quick your dad's here yeah he's here we needed we need to join up with him quick and i will start heading there whether or not they follow me or not

Speaker: Okay, cool. You start heading that way. Are you walking or like just... I'm running. Okay, cool. I'm probably gassing if I can do that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's fine. What are the other two doing? I'm on all four. All four legs. I'm fast. I physically can't go. So I'll be turning to Goro and be like, do you need anything?

Speaker: Did they tell me that my dad... Did they tell me that they saw my dad? Yeah, before Havadash is off then, I think I've just gotta say my goodbyes. So, I think I've just gotta... Yeah, I can't let him live. Like, deep down, I know.

Speaker: I'm always going to have this target on my back and it's either going to be him or me and it's not right to bring these people that know me into that peril. I've already lost one friend because of it and he's kind of grown attached to have her and he wouldn't want that on her depending the outcome. So what does he actually say to her? Because if you tell her she's going to stay with you no matter what.

Speaker: But I also want you to go with your dad. You need to go help your dad. Or do you say anything? I want to say something, but she's gone. And so, Silith, you and Steve are there. What's Silith doing now?

Speaker: So this is like, I can't go with you. So if you want to protect her, do you want to be a giant dragon or something? Take care of your dad? Me? Dragon? Hmm. Sure. Why not? Unless there's a better form that you would prefer. I think dragon's pretty solid. Sick. I want to go with green, but that's weaker. So blue. You go. Young blue dragon. Okay. So with frost. Lightning. Lightning breath.

Speaker: Oh, lightning. Okay. So you have you have you are being more into a blue dragon as you speak this. Steve looks at you. So I listen like, oh, you've learned things. Yep. You guys want to have a ride, I guess. I think you're going to beat up your dad.

Speaker: Yeah, we'll go somewhere else. We have to talk. We're brothers. Okay. Thanks for the dragon, I guess. And hopefully see you after whatever this madness is. So I appreciate it, Silas. And hopefully things work out with your brother. I hope. I'll just take off. Cool. Great. Take off. So where is Silas going? Is Silas going after Kaba? I can't. I physically can't. So.

Speaker: as much as much as I want to. And I'm staring, staring daggers at Steve being like this, take this from me. But I can't. Okay. So, listeners, I am going to do something right now. This is all naturally happened. I didn't plan any of this. They all split up on their own. And I want them all to roll me a constitution save. 19.

Speaker: 19. Perfect. I get a plus six on my constitution. Right. Bob Arians. Yeah. Bob Arians. 17. 17. Cool. Hava and Silas, you pass. That's a 16 then. 16 passes. Great goodness for that. You all feel a weird sense that someone was trying to take over your mind and

Speaker: can i insight that you want you can look yeah you can look more into that as you're running is you're flying as you're standing there i love that insight or arcana what we're doing or arcana yeah either 14 i just i'm chilling yeah you're not sure what would you roll salis 30 20 30

Speaker: 30 natural 20. No. Nice. So you have a you not sure what this is, but you did feel that it was taking trying to take over your mind. And you felt that it was close as you got in close to your to your dad. It's brought you closer. And it was really strong this this feeling. It was I've the feeling was that it was my dad trying to

Speaker: No, no, no, no. It was that it was it was something that was close to your death. The source of it is close to your death. That emitted this feeling. OK. It's this sense of somebody's trying to take your mind. Now I need you all to a role initiative for me. You and me.

Speaker: Even you. Oh, right. Yeah. So Silas, Silas, you with 30, you know, this technique. This technique is from someone you've spent a lot of time in prison with. It's like almost four beta, what it used to do, but amplified. And yeah. Initiatives. I rolled 18 though. I've got 30. Yeah, 10.

Speaker: Goro does go first. No, I hope so. Yeah. So what do you want to do at this moment? I'm assuming I'm flying above the fat battlegrounds and I'm looking for one person only. Roll perception. Okay. Nine plus that. That's going to be 18. 18. Cool. You see, I'd say you, you know, actually let me roll.

Speaker: Ooh, actually, you don't see... I'm so running him down. Yeah, you can keep doing it. Yeah, do it. I'd say you can keep hunting him. You can keep looking. You can get closer. You can tell me what you do to try and do better next time, and I'll give you advantage. Well, I'm trying to find my dad, so I guess I'm just kind of looking for him, aren't I? I'm just waiting for him to do something.

Speaker: I'll see. If that's all you're doing, you can roll perception again. Yeah, because I feel rude. I don't think Goro would literally be like, well, I don't know if that's my dad, but open fire and be like an Apache helicopter. I don't think he's going to cheer. That's okay. I'll just go. I'll have another look. That's all I want to do. It's nothing major. So 21. 21? Here we go. Watch this. He is missed in smoke. Like darn you, dad.

Speaker: Okay. Yeah. You still don't see him. Okay. I guess that's me done then. I've got two eyes. I'd say you, you have, you have like an idea that he is still somewhere in like the middle of the golden kingdom territory. Like that section. He's not near the fighting. Okay. Well, that's where I'm looking. So I guess that's me done.

Speaker: okay it is then it's girl's dad he's gonna be rolling because i guess you're not trying to hide he's looking for you i'd say 14

Speaker: Yeah, he's looking up. You're the only dragon that will be the only other dragon in the area. I'd say he sees you or he sees a dragon. Let me see. Let me see if I can roll insight to see if he thinks it's you. Nineteen would probably do it. He just knows like he sees he sees all this dragon, these nice goblets. And he's like, of course, that's my sons. He's like, yeah, how's it going, dad?

Speaker: And that's his turn. And then it is Steve's turn. Steve. Steve's just going to roll something. And he looks at you, Silas, and he's like, uh, any, any idea what's happening? What was that about? That wasn't you? No, I don't have that amplification power. And he is lying, right, Jesse? You said it was him? No, no, he's telling the truth. I'm telling you the other one.

Speaker: Okay. Yeah, no, I haven't seen him in years, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's him. I wasn't asking if it was him, but if you think it was him at all, does he get released with you? Yeah, released at the same time. I heard rumors that he got trapped again, but...

Speaker: Yeah, that's right. Apparently, if Hava is telling the truth, she's a princess. So maybe it's not him? I don't know. That was weird. And then you see him look at you and he's like, well, well, brothers. And this is Steve. And he's like,

Speaker: Well, it looks like we're getting a family back together. And Steve kind of shakes it off and he's like, oh, this is not good. Okay. I don't know. I can't do anything. He has control over me. So balls in your court, you tell me what I need to do. You lead me, I will do. Oh, you lead me? And I... What? You never needed me.

Speaker: He didn't roll high enough then, did he? On his teeth. Yeah, Steve failed. Yeah. But the other one did also say, or lead me. Right. Yes. He's making, he's making fun of. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And Steve's like, um, and he casts a dimension door and he says, Oh, I've got to go. And.

Speaker: He then he grabs your arm and he says, but you have to come with me. And he tries to pull you in. So I need a little counter spell to the door. Yeah. Amazing. Perfect. So he tries to grab you, pull you, you, you go with him, but you counter spell it. And it like disappears. And he's like,

Speaker: My brain hurts. Oh, I'm so sorry. I guess I'm on his side. And did I say it was Hobb's turn? Hobb's turn. Am I still running, then? Yeah, if you want to be, yeah. Yeah, how far away? I'd say another, like, if you're going to do a full dash, that would probably get you close by. You are entering the battlefield, so you would be able to enter the fray at this point.

Speaker: If you want to go around Fray, that will take you another turn. But if you want to go through the Fray, it'll take you this turn. At least through it. How many opportunities? It'll be a lot of opportunity attacks. I'm guessing AO in Theoden vibes right here. He's on the front lines, dude. That's my vibe.

Speaker: I want to just go straight to him, but I will go around. So it's you saying this whole time just dashing? Yeah, just because of the opportunity tax, I think. Yeah. Cool. No, that's fine. That's by a thousand paper cuts.

Speaker: then Silas, you receive a message in your head that says, okay, you don't want to come to me. I'll find you. I, in a, in a more like, I'm trying to think of what scary way it was like, Oh, I swore that was, that was V trying to make me go somewhere. I'm sorry. I would, I have been wanting to see you forever. So sorry.

Speaker: And then you don't hear anything. He does his thing, and that's his turn. It is now. I'm going to say to you. I hope he's not killing my dad. It's my turn? OK. There's nothing I can do to see him. I'll prepare a movement to come see him when I can. I mean, you can move now. Do I know where he is? No. You can roll me arcana to see if you can feel him through your otherworldly bond.

Speaker: I was literally waiting for just like a sense of disturbance in the force. 13. 13 now. Like you kind of get a general idea. You kind of know that like I was on the right track. Yeah. I can't see. I would, I sorry. I yeah. Just open it again and I'll I'm on my way. But okay. Next time.

Speaker: And then it is... Oh, actually, sorry, Bardic Inspiration, the dragon. What do you say? What do you do to give Bardic? Don't make that a waste. Hurry, Gregly. So now it's King Elrath's turn and he's gonna do a few things. A few things, I think. You know what I mean? Oh, man, he's like waste to these guys. Okay.

Speaker: now we're back to the top girl go for it what do you want to do how high am i in the air you do your full movement i thought you got closer to this to the to the yeah that's what i'm saying because i think as well yeah i just keep looking around for my dad then i guess that's what i have to do yeah roll reception

Speaker: Right. With the bonus of 9, that's a 10. But, because in sense of me being cool, that's a nat 1. So, ooh, this is interesting. Okay. I mean, is that gonna do you too much harm? You look so hard at these buildings that

Speaker: you think you see him and you die bomb into it but it turns out to be a wagon like new roof that they've been they're trying out like a metal roof and you try to go for it you just smash into it and roll mid -decence of damage of course i take six and i'll say that's the end of your turn thank you so next it is there you go

Speaker: He is going to... Huh. Roll me a D100. Yeah, let's get that lovely app out because I don't own a D100. I'm not cool with that. You don't have to. Just roll your two D10s. Oh, that's not fun. Okay, sure. What's the value? The one with the two numbers and then the one with the single number. Okay, 53.

Speaker: 53, you're 53 feet away from your dad. Oh. And he... I would laugh so hard. You're 10 feet. You saw him. You missed him by 10 feet and you destroyed your wagon.

Speaker: No, no, no. I'm not that mean. But your dad can't get to you. He does. You know what he does? He does a full dash and you see as you look up and you like shake your head, your father with one arm standing in front of you and he's stoic, fruity, breathing hard. And he actually throws his arm at you.

Speaker: What? I had a pity. So just push me. Yeah. Wow. Sick. That's pretty badass actually. Okay. And then it is Steven's turn. And he casts a mentioned door again. On his turn? On Steven's turn, yeah. So he casts it and he holds out his hand.

Speaker: If I, if I was allowed to ready a movement and I'll walk. Oh yeah, sure. Yeah. Okay. So you both walk through it and you are practically in darkness. It's not too far from what you remember in the past, but you're not trapped there. You see as Silas. See a mirror. You see yourself. No, um, you see Steven walk further in and he says, look familiar.

Speaker: I think. No, maybe not. Do I know this place? Doesn't matter. This is where our brother's gonna stay, okay? Okay. Okay. I know. I had to stick with him for months, you know? You know how much he did in an afternoon? How much he took from me in an afternoon? He walked in with. Everything from me. It's I... Yeah, me? I am in control of Steven.

Speaker: Yeah, I'm talking to you about Steven. Oh, okay. That's great. That's great news. Okay, so I'm gonna leave him here, and you're gonna help me take the kingdom. We're gonna help King Elros take the kingdom back, and we're gonna trap him in one of these, and we're gonna take the kingdom. We're gonna trap Elros in this? Yeah, yeah. Similarly. We can't do that, but yeah. Well, that's not a part of the plan. We made sure that I could never be anywhere near Elros.

Speaker: I'm with Alros. I'm good. Yeah. Lucky. So that's the plan, right? We trap this guy, and you and I trap King Alros and take the king. Hmm. Like I said, I... sure. Like, I can't... I can't help, but... Why can't you help? This dimwit. He's not hearing. It's a long story, but he made sure that I couldn't ever be anywhere near Alros.

Speaker: Well, in amongst other things, but so I'm going to trap both of you here now. That's okay. And I'm sorry, you're just collateral damage. Yeah, that's familiar. OK, well, bye for now. And he literally passes out lazy like and out of a lack of health or just because it's breaking and usually. Yeah, because he broke the bond, he broke the tie to I want you. Hmm.

Speaker: to roll me inside. I'm 21. 21. Perfect. You, like I said before, you've been in this kind of thing before. You know, but there's something different about this place. There's something like there might be a back door because you do see a glimmer of light somewhere. Maybe it was made bad. Maybe it's because he needed to be in

Speaker: That's what you get. Yeah, so I'll call it right. Is that what this is? This is the yeah similar to the court. Okay, that's what I was talking about and now it is Have a stain. Yeah. Am I there then so if you take another dash you'll be there. Yeah You you see your father not in the middle of the battlefield not fighting he is

Speaker: lack of a better term. He's like a battering ram. He's literally just shucking people. Oh, he's raging. For sure. He's raging.

Speaker: He and he's just, but he's not like, like with a hammer or anything. He is literally just one. Like he's trying to break down a door, but he's using people as the door. So he's just trying to break this wall of enemies by just making a straight line so they can get through.

Speaker: yeah i'm just getting like dynasty warrior vibes where you're just against thousands of people and it's just uv everybody else and he's just mowing people down left right and center but he has a very specific direction he is going do i know can i tell what he's going for no there's so many people around him not around we'll around him but yeah yeah but yeah you do reach him

Speaker: Yeah, I'll just see if I can break his focus or something or like calm him down. What do you want to say? What do you want to do? That's a good question. I should have been thinking about that while I was running. I mean, I was thinking about that while I was running, but I didn't know he was going to be in such a hot temper. All right. So be like, dad, it's me. I'm fine. All right. I'm here. Roll me persuasion with advantage.

Speaker: I'm going to assume he's trying to rescue me. So I'll be like, it's fine. I'm escaped. I'm here. You can calm down. Yeah. You break his concentration. You break his kind of like an over rage. It's like it's not just the normal rage, but it's like anger, pure anger. He was just rampant and he like kind of what? I'm here now. It's fine. I'm safe.

Speaker: It's fine. Right. I need you to get back to the tent. It's too dangerous out here. No, I'm staying with you. I've been waiting for you this whole time. I need to stay with you. Sorry, we're late. What happened? Just gathering all the people. There's nothing I could say that was different. It just took longer.

Speaker: What were you going for? You looked like... We went around. We had to go around. No, no. Right now. Right now, what were you heading for? You looked crazy. Like you needed to get somewhere. What were you doing? I don't know. I just really felt like I needed to go this way. But why? You don't know? You don't know what you were going for? No, I don't. I'll talk to one of my advisors later. Maybe something happened.

Speaker: Can I insight that ultimate rage thing that he was 15? 15, you think he was just going? Because it looks like it was the direction where you were. So it does look like he was going to you and maybe he's just blinded by the rage that he had. It was just so mad, so maybe it was just that. Okay. We need to stop the fighting. We need to solve this diplomatically. We can't just keep attacking them.

Speaker: We're losing people. We're losing friends and family. I don't want to lose anymore. I don't want to lose you. I don't want you to go somewhere that you can't get back from. I'm going to be fine. These guys are ridiculous. The only ones that were problem.

Speaker: I've been taken out by magic. Can we just try to solve this diplomatically? There's got to be another way besides the fighting and the killing. Just think we can figure this out another way. You're taking other people's children from their parents, just like I was taken from you. Do you really want to be that person who's taking the children's parents away from them? I'm going to use that as my frustration.

Speaker: I'm gonna say flat still. It was very good flat. A very good slap. Shocking. Analyzing for good roleplay. Shocking. Should be advantage. Should be. It should be advantage.

Speaker: It should be because that was raw emotion. It was originally disadvantage. So I'm giving you help. Oh, okay. Flipping egg. What the heck was he doing? Okay. That's insane. If it's just normal. Okay. Am I trying to like, is there a certain, like, is he combating this or, or is there a certain thing I gotta beat?

Speaker: He doesn't believe in this diplomatic solution. There's no ounce of him that would think it works. That's why it's flat. If I rolled an 11, that wouldn't be high enough.

Speaker: No, definitely not high enough. Just look at you and be like, look, we'll go back with you now. Because literally while you've been talking to him, he's been like hit left, right and center by the other like smaller like soldiers. And he's just like, I need a bat. Oh, gosh, he's got blood and everything over him.

Speaker: Take a break. He's like, I'm gonna do that. That's fine. And he like shapes like the field around trying to talk to my daughter. I don't need to tickle fight. He starts walking back with you and he's so happy to see you. I'm happy to see you too. But I also I want to find a way to do this the right way. There's only one way but

Speaker: But why? Why is there only one way? I want him to tell me. I know this is a bit like narrative and not an initiative, but he walks you to his tent and you see in a little mouse and sitting next to his throne. Do I think it's Silas or? No, the other one. OK, no, neither. So he's distinctive enough from the other two mice.

Speaker: Yeah, he and he's like a king of roses. And here's the greatest advisor I've ever had. And then he says, Oh, hi, I've heard so much about you growing up. But what? How do you know me? Let's just say I've been following you since birth. Since birth? What are you talking about? That's kind of creepy. Yeah, I'm sorry. I just I needed things to play out the way they did.

Speaker: Uh, but we're happy you're here now, aren't we? And the King of Ross is like more than anything. I want you to roll initiative again. Okay. That was not a D20. Oh, nice. Net 20. Nice. Okay, cool. Great. I got six. 19. Yep. Okay. What will happen is things are going to unfold now and.

Speaker: you will be taking turns with the people around you. But in that as well, there is a war going on. So that war will still be taking place and I still will be rolling for them. As your outcomes come to an end, it may affect it, it may not. Do I have any hope at stopping this war? As of right now? We'll see.

Speaker: Okay, that's pretty good. It's not a no. And it was apparently optimistic, like, yeah, maybe. Maybe. It wasn't like, oh, yep, there's no way. Do I see the mouse? He's right there. He's standing next to the throne.

Speaker: So I think we'll just start with a flashback to where. Okay. Not, not really. Like I don't want to actually go back and replay anything, but I just feel like if you want to, or history, it's going to be a fairly high roll. I'm telling you. Yeah. That's a nine. Yeah. You know what? Roll roll with advantage. He's helping you. Okay. Yeah. I definitely remember. I wasn't at 20. Okay. Okay.

Speaker: How do I say that? Oh my goodness. Okay. I wasn't expecting a Nat 20. I was literally just going to be like, yeah, he was around. Okay. So insight, you think back to your earliest memory and you may be as like a very, very tiny pup, like early. Remember your father at a glimpse talking to, to mice.

Speaker: then that's one moment and then like another moment happens and your father's carrying you and one mouse is like talking with your father about strategy and Silas what would what would you be doing with baby Hava around knowing you can't necessarily touch anything but yeah no I I would probably be more like knowing that I can't like comfort her

Speaker: physically, like hold her or hug her or anything, I would just be silly. And I would be like, wearing different funny masks and just being being like the equivalent of a jester. Sure. Great. And that was another moment you remember. And then I remember I realized that that's Silas.

Speaker: Yeah. Oh, within that 20. Yeah. A hundred percent. You remember. I know that stylist and the other mouse that my dad's talking to is this other mouse. That's the one in front of you. Yeah. And then he fast forward to way down the line from when a moose and an owlbear and a lion are on the ship.

Speaker: and there's fire you're screaming because you're hungry and scared and your mother passes you you you feel the limpness from your mother and you you hear take take my baby when you see a moose do it and you see

Speaker: in the distance on the ship, just a glimmer of one mouse and it disappears. And then you see... I would have known that that's this mouse in front of me. I would have known the moose is reader. I would have known the lion. Yeah. Yeah. And then you see, again, time passes and you're bigger, stronger. You're with the otter folk and this mouse, only because of the twinge of his voice,

Speaker: is in a pod and this pod is carried by you, carried by Goro, carried

Speaker: carried around and then lost all the way leading back to this very moment. Wow. You kind of just see that like zoom in and zoom out of the like visions and all the while my face is just like a like it just keeps changing emotions from like confusion to like understanding and like sadness realizing that my mom is dead to like kind of

Speaker: more confusion or anger at reader for again holding back information about when he saved her and now she remembers it and like sees her as well she's like why did he leave me with like what like all this like is like just like spit like her head is spinning like i like roll roll me a wisdom save

Speaker: Uh, six. You take two damage because your head is and your emotions are just so heightened. Yeah. And so, yeah, I'm just like, but now, uh, Jesse, um, but now that I've remembered all this, what if, like, do I understand with my insight role, not just the memories, but do I understand why he was there? Hmm. You, you don't understand why he was there early.

Speaker: Like early on, it's like when you were in your father's arms, when you first saw him from a distance, with the insight on the boat. Listeners, I don't know if I can bring this up or not, if you've listened to Hermit Chronicles or anything, but there's a moment. It's just a little, little moment that I say. One of the fainine.

Speaker: or one person throws fire, throws a lit thing onto the boat, just randomly. And that in itself was this mouse in charming, overtaking, controlling this being to start the fire. And I think you don't know that specifically, but you know it wasn't good.

Speaker: You know, he was there not for good intent, I guess you can say. That's all you can pick up from an insight, but for the listeners, just to kind of get a recall of that. And then with the being trapped, that's not necessarily a bad thing. He was just, he was legitimately just trapped. And now he doesn't have any ill intention towards you. Who else is in the room? You, King Elros, and a mess.

Speaker: Okay, I will look at the mouse. I'll look at my dad and just be like, you were there. You were there. You were there the whole time. I remember. But you're not good. And I look at my dad, he's not good. He works for you. He has ill intent. He's not here for your good. He's not here for our good.

Speaker: What do you mean? We've worked on this for so long together. What have you been working on? His plan, this. To take over the kingdom again? Yes. He's got selfish intent. Take it back. He's not in here for, he wasn't here for our good. He was on the boat, the boat where my mom died. I was in her arms. She died.

Speaker: I was he was there he he was evil he he didn't he wasn't there for a good I don't know why but I I remember I remember the fire and and Caesar and a reader saving me from the boat and and giving me to to the otter folk dad you have to believe me no they were bandits they they were bandits they

Speaker: You have to believe me. He was there. He is not here for our good. You have to believe me.

Speaker: We wouldn't have made it this far without him. There must be something that he can get out of this because, honestly, he's not here. It's something that he can get out of this. I don't know why or what, but I saw this mouse was in a pod a couple months ago and he was... Yes, yeah, we got him back and we released him. Yeah, that's okay. John...

Speaker: John, what's going on? And John says, look, I don't know what the problem is. We're on schedule. We're getting you guys' kingdom back. He's deceiving you. He's out for something. He's out for no good. Can't trust him. I'm your daughter. Can you trust me? I'd say roll a persuasion.

Speaker: persuasion. Okay, give me good dice. Yes, okay, that is good. 24. That wasn't good enough, was it? Your father looks at you, he holds his paws up to you, he goes up to your face, says to my beautiful girl, and he just weeps. And he's like, I'm so sorry you went through that. I trust you. I believe you. You're right. And he says,

Speaker: John you and I have some talking to you and he like turns to him he pulls out his war hammer and he's like and I'll just I'll just be like don't don't kill him capture him don't kill him and that is the end of your turn I'm going to say that's that's definitely you didn't do anything action is unless you want to do an action

Speaker: I guess I want to ready an action to, well, maybe I either want to ready an action to block his attack or to capture the mouse if he tries to escape. But let me think about that. Let me think that through. I guess it kind of depends on whose initiative is first.

Speaker: I'll tell you right now, King Elros rolled a natural one. And that's why he believed you completely wholeheartedly. Oh, wow. Nice. I think I want to try and grapple the mouse. As a ready action or? Actually, I think I just want to do it. Let me just think about that. He's magical. So he

Speaker: and still verbalize spells if he's able to speak. So I think my grapple will be to cover his mouth or something because I can't stop his magical attacks by like a barrier. I'm not magical. I don't have magic.

Speaker: But I think if I can, if I, from what, from what Hava's learned, I think she would have remember or known that he's magical, right? Or no, she wouldn't even know that because I guess that would also, I know that's meta knowledge. Yeah. I'm not sure if that's - I don't think you'd know that specifically. Okay. So then I think since I don't know that I would just do a, a, uh, maybe ready, uh, no, I don't think I'll do anything. Already a,

Speaker: a grapple, already a grapple for the mouse if he tries to get away. So it's your turn Lee, or Goro, sorry. You have a arm thrown at your face as a dragon.

Speaker: So first thing I'll say to my dad, so how did you get out of the other dimension? Just curious, just want to break the ice with that one, dad, if that's okay. Also, I want to say how you're doing, but you just threw your hand at me, or should I set my arm? But I just want to know how. Roll persuasion. Okay, that is not a bad roll, depending how

Speaker: that is persuasion plus three okay uh 16 he he looks at you and he says nothing but he kicks he kicks some dirt at you okay i'm i'm ready to

Speaker: bury the hatchet. I know I left because Darian and you were doing some shady things. It's probably going to take me some time to come back to those things, but I feel like the issues we have between us, there's bigger issues at foot than we can address them after, but I feel like we need to team up and deal with what's going on right now because

Speaker: Whoever, whatever's going on right now, this is way beyond our issues, our family issues. Roll me another persuasion. Again, 16. Try my hardest, dude. I don't want to eat him.

Speaker: You see him kind of like you're looking at him. He's missing a full arm. He is being battered and he looks weaker than he was. He looks like he fought his way out back somehow.

Speaker: And with the 16, he knows who you're aligned with. And he knows and has been taught to not be okay. And especially you are a dragon in front of him. So you are of some alignment, alignment with them still. And he spits at you.

Speaker: along the other side this is so annoying just tell me why you were on the other side because i'm here just helping out friends i've got one person's interests in my heart at the moment so i pretty much well there's two people that i have invested interest in helping the others

Speaker: have kind of are no longer around and there's only two remaining and i've got to honor their wishes in a way because that's what you taught me and mum taught me. Another persuasion roll. Oh now it's gone six there we go there we go guys and it's gone

Speaker: He just looks, he looks at you and he just says, we're just on different sides. Get up. Let's finish this. I don't want to. I will say you do feel like he, you were getting through to him. Like it was something that will be like the other two things you said. Yeah. He's like, I do not want to fight him. So now we leave that moment and we go.

Speaker: to our wonderful Silas. It's not your turn, but we are with you right now. And I'm going to roll to see if Vy wakes up. You hear him off and kind of stand up and he's like, where are we? Silas, where are we? A prison of some sort. Okay, how, why,

Speaker: Oh, the worst possible thing happened. Your brother has trapped you and I in as some sort of pocket dimension. How terrible of him. How could he hate us so much, you know?

Speaker: Ah, Silas, I understand sarcasm to an extent. I have been away for a long time. I do understand sarcasm and I take offense that I did not make you go into the coin. It happened. You're offended about what happened. I'm offended that you use sarcasm as a joke. This is better than not talking to you for years. I also trapped myself if that is any consolation.

Speaker: Hmm. Do you know what's worse than being trapped in a coin once? Yes. What? I, I didn't. Was that sarcasm? Was it rhetorical? I, I'm sorry. I, I didn't understand. Well, it's rhetorical for people who are smart. Where is he? Where's who? Where's John? I thought you were going to say your brother, but I guess those are two different people. Where is John? I don't know. So we're in here. What have you been doing? Well, we've been in here. Been writing this letter. Okay.

Speaker: Because of you, I cannot help you get out of here. So have fun. I almost understand that, but. As most people do, especially the dumb ones. Okay, so now wait, am I smart or am I dumb? What an amazing question. Silas, look. Are you mad at John for trapping you in this coin? I am frustrated. Why? Because you feel you don't deserve it? No, no. I am frustrated because I didn't see it coming.

Speaker: The trail from her brother often is. I'm frustrated that you're also here. Are you? I am. Because I wonder where he got that idea from. Why would he trap you? You guys are trapped together. That's just... Because maybe I'm morally sound now. Now. Because he asked if I wanted to leave and join the evil side of things. And I decided to stay here trapped with you. Knowing that everything that I've wanted is now gone.

Speaker: Everything that I wanted would have been perfectly fine if you didn't step in. I would have gotten everything that you've taken from me if you have just stayed out of it. And now you've returned to make sure that I don't get those things that I've wanted.

Speaker: I've spent years trying to fix this kingdom because you made sure that I could not help the king. I have spent every single day giving people hope, giving people health, doing everything that I could to improve the lives of others. And then the moment you show up

Speaker: It is taken away. I have loved. I have helped families. I have saved people from apocalypse. And the second you showed up, all of their lives were ruined. Now who's the bad guy? I never said I was good.

Speaker: Well, at least we have agree. We can agree on something. I'm, I'm sorry. I messed up. It was a stupid mistake. It wasn't, I didn't know what I was doing. I was trying to, they were rushing us to make this place. They were rushing us to finish it so that way they can start this experiment. And your brother, John, that guy kept getting in the way.

Speaker: So I thought a timeout would have been a good idea. Didn't expect it to go on for so long. I'm proud of you. It could never be who you are. We don't belong here. I am, I need to stop John. Are you going to stand in my way? He just like nods his head. I can take you home. There is no home. It's been a long time, but it's still there. No, the moment we get out of here, you won't even remember me.

Speaker: Well, let's figure out how to change that. He like strokes his shoulder and just goes back to trying to write, trying to perfect this letter. And he just goes into his spell book and he's like looking for something. And that's, he's just going to use his turn to use some research. And it is King L. Ross and King L. Ross says, John. Was she saying true? And John just goes, King, sir.

Speaker: everything for your best interest has always been at play. When have we ever done you wrong? I mean, it's true, but did you kill my wife? He looks at the king and he's like, I didn't do a thing. And he, the king like slams his hammer on the ground. Did you kill her?

Speaker: Raises his hands and he says, I've done nothing but look after you before and after she passed. I've been your closest advocate for so long and you're questioning because your daughter sweet talked to you. And I'm going to give her a death glare. And he's going to roll persuasion. He was like, yeah, that's true. That's true. But no, wait.

Speaker: And he looks at you and he's like, Mama, I don't know what to do.

Speaker: No, no, you can't. We can't trust him. He would have killed me too. I don't know if he killed her, but he, he was there and he didn't have good intentions. I would have died too. It's just a thanks. Thanks to breeder. And I guess Caesar, that's why I got off. They, they, they were the ones who rescued me, but me, John, this mouse was there and it was, was there. I was, and it broke my heart to watch.

Speaker: All the fainine. Oh, but I, I, I am corporeal at the time. I was corporeal. I could not do something. I couldn't touch. I was just watching you and it's going to roll deception. You're welcome to roll insight if you want. It's pretty impossible to beat it. 19.

Speaker: in Caporial is I think what you meant. Oh, in Caporial. Yes. In Caporial. Yes. I thought that was wrong too. I rolled a 19, which is really high, but probably not high enough. Uh, no, I knew the net 20. But you.

Speaker: you kind of start doubting yourself and then you see your father again continue just to tear up and he goes into a rage

Speaker: And I need you to take a d4 damage. That's a d4. There you go. Going super saiyan. I'll just be like, ow. I'm gonna try and like, overreact. Just be like, ow, stop. If I don't, you can't.

Speaker: And he goes for an attack with, oh my goodness, that's gonna hit 13 damage. And again, can hit 12 damage, 25 damage one more time. Definitely hits 15 damage. So 35 damage already. And with this realization, with all this stuff that's going on, with what you've retained, let's say you gain a level.

Speaker: Oh, wow, OK. But with a nine, I'll say it's very limited to maybe a different fighting style. So you could get a level and fighter. You get a level and barbarian. You can get a level and maybe monk because of Goro. Oh, that would be fun. But I think that's around it. Like you can really stretch it and get rogue, but I guess

Speaker: No. Not necessarily a fighting style. It doesn't make sense. Yeah. So I would say between those three. Bunk seems to make the most sense for me, I think. Take a breath. Let's calm down. And I think we need to get rid of somebody. Don't you? Yeah. No. No! No! I'm your daughter! You can't trust this mouse! No!

Speaker: Do I know he put a charm on him or am I just like like? Yeah, I don't think you will. You would you would see him with his arcane focus like cast the spell. So yeah, I guess so. I can't use my grapple now, right? Because I said it was a reaction to him trying to get away. Yeah, you can't. He himself hasn't moved. Right. So.

Speaker: They look at you and John just goes, well, Hava, I think you're not welcome here anymore. And that is the end of his turn. It is your turn now, Silas. Yeah. Um, I think I'm, Silas has no idea that this is happening, correct? Nope. Yeah. He has nothing. He knows nothing. So he's just chilling, writing this letter. He's, uh, he's thinking of the story. Just.

Speaker: for the sake of who he is, but you can't do anything with it until like three moves later. So I might give, I might give, uh, uh, Steve, uh, a Bartok inspiration. Be like, yeah, you can, you can do it. You're fine. Check. Cool. It is to roll for the wall. That's interesting. So you just hear some.

Speaker: different magics, different cries, different fighting styles happening out there. And we'll go back to the top, which is Uhaba.

Speaker: All right. You said that I probably realized that he was being manipulated by magic, right? Yeah, definitely. Okay. I'm going to take my best guess then on how to break a charm spell and then just like try and like, wait, is he holding a wand or something? Cause I know about wands a little bit. No, he had his arcane. So he had like a, not like an hourglass, but it kind of looks like it.

Speaker: but there's a red gem in the middle. Okay. So then is it, I guess, yeah, using that knowledge, knowing that there was a spell and that he touched this, this necklace thing that I will probably think that that is removing that from him will probably be the best way to try and break the charm that's on my dad. So I think I'll just try and grapple.

Speaker: As you go for him, you like clasp your hands around him or your claws or whatever around him. And he does a shadow dodge. And all you you continue to go because you still think it's him. And it's just like he's like this apparates like the shadow gets broken as you collapse your hands around around each other. OK, it's like.

Speaker: whoa whoa whoa personal space you need to stop release my dad you can't about don't i've worked too hard for this

Speaker: You're manipulating him against me. What are you? You could have just laid it along. What are you trying to get out of him? Out of this whole thing? What do you benefit? What will you benefit from? I'm trying to get the kingdom back. We're trying to get it together. This is not for him. It's for you. Why do you need it? Why do you want it? I don't know what you're talking about. It is for all of us.

Speaker: I will, I guess, attack him with, what am I gonna say? Okay, so what I will do then is I'm gonna roll a d20, and let's say between one and 10, he appears close by you, because it's a random appearance. Oh, yeah, he can show up wherever. Yeah, so I will, it's either he shows up near you or further away.

Speaker: You can't still hit him, but it's just I will roll so we know exactly

Speaker: we'll say you used five feet six no ten feet to get to him the first time to grapple and then he is another 23 feet away can you still reach him after yeah i'd say yeah i can okay cool okay he is like on uh like a candle like one of the like one of the like candelabra things like the large one he's just appeared there so

Speaker: You run at him and attack. I think I will use my great sword because I'm going to roll to attack that 18 to hit. 18 hits. And I'll need to roll concentration. 12. And you hit and concentration. Still concentrating.

Speaker: It's like, oh, you're not supposed to know where I end up. That's rude. Stop controlling my dad. If you just align with us, then I'll stop. Never.

Speaker: And this is how it has to be. So we're back to you, Goro. Okay. Dude, like, Darian's gone. You have no one to really protect. So you're, you've obviously been told something by someone that you're guaranteed to have ownership over something.

Speaker: like what can that possibly be like to be honest at any point you me anyone could have like put him in his place like guaranteed because i know how hard you are

Speaker: But what have you been promised then? Because, like, you did it with Darren just out of the kindness out of your heart, and then that went super left -handed and right -handed to another place I thought you'd never go to. So I'm assuming he's offered you something completely different, or is it just the same? Roll me a persuasion. Yes, 16. 16, okay. I'm gonna roll a wisdom save. Oh gosh. My dad's being controlled. I would really like to say bananas.

Speaker: He looks at you and he's just like, look, I can bore you with whatever you want. You know, I have my duty. You have your friends, I guess. I don't see them, but you have your friends. So let's take care of them. Get up. Let's fight. I'm an honorable monk, for the most part. And besides the most part, Dad, I'm really going to do this one here.

Speaker: I'm going to try one more time. Go for it. Yeah. I don't want to do this. Like roll me a quick insight. Roll me a quick insight. Okay. The beds on this. Yes. There we go. Inside. Okay. So that's nine. Not great. You're not sure if this is working anymore anyways, but feel free to give it another shot.

Speaker: to go to my dad then and it's like I'm if you want this to happen it will go but I'm gonna let you know I am not gonna kill you I will just leave you where you stand or fall because that's how honorable I am leave a man embarrassed defeated alive that's honorable of course you think that well I believe in second chances unlike you show me what you got

Speaker: Okay, well, let's get the, um, let's get the bite out of the way first. So I feel like I'm now like full on Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat right now. This is dope. Let's go. Okay. Does a 23 hit? Yes. Yes. I believe. And goodness. Sorry, dad. I told you I didn't want to do this. 22. Okay. And then the claws. Ooh. Okay. 22. That hits. Okay. And then the damage die. Oh.

Speaker: okay nine plus four is 13 for the first one and then the second core that is going to be at 24 24 to hit hits really angry to hit 24 and then damage yeah that's more like it that's pretty terrifying that's 15 damage and there's one almost boxcars nice okay it was a very hefty hit

Speaker: for someone who's already damaged quite a lot. And that's all I can do, right? Yes. I forgot that he gets a turn as well last time. So we'll just say that term. I missed it. I missed it. You know, it is what it is. OK. But he is going to go for a hit. He's going to go for his enhanced punch. There we go.

Speaker: does a 12 hit. It does not hit. So he goes and tries to punch you and just bounces back and he's going to use. So it's really weird because this dragon's armor class is one more above the me normally. What is that all about? That's ridiculous. That's so weird.

Speaker: And then he's going to use key to he's going to multi attack does a 20 20 does it. Yeah. So he kind of bounces back and then he just uses the momentum to go straight back in 14 damage and he's going to use his key to do three blows.

Speaker: There we go, he's just got all the attacks. That definitely is 2018 damage. Right, and then oh yeah, 19 damage that time. He's not going to spend any more key yet. Then it's V's turn and he is going to do a fatal roll right now.

Speaker: A fatal? Not a fatal one. That was a bit too harsh. A, um, a vital. That's what it is. A vital. He also has the marbles, right? He still has my marbles, right? Oh, I forgot he has the marbles. That changes everything. He looks at you and he says, okay, thinking practically. Look at me. Okay. You're looking at me. Okay.

Speaker: thinking practically he's not looking at him he's looking he kind of is he's glancing up as he's writing for this one actually okay is this a curse is what a curse you leave in this place and disappear no it's your magic yeah but logically is it a curse depends on what curse is

Speaker: Probably not, but. Hmm. I can't use that. So he's like going, like he's also looking at his book. He's like going back and forth. Candies. I had a case that fireball. No, that's, that's not, that's not. You could have better only sell the problem for you and I. Uh, want to visit hell. No, probably not a good idea to visit.

Speaker: Yeah. Oh, what'd you do that? Okay. We know what I gotta do. As Steve is thinking, is Bardic Inspiration concentration? No. Okay, good. So there's still a dragon outside that's fighting. Yes. He looks at you and he says, look, if it's me, that's the problem. If it's my magic, it's me.

Speaker: We can try the remove curse. I don't know how to test that. If you don't want to do that, I can't force you to. I just don't think it'll help. Fine. But I can leave this plane of existence. Maybe that'll help. To solve my problem or to solve the problem of you being stuck in here? To solve your problem. I am here. I'm trying, Silas. I'm trying to help you for the first time in forever. The moment you said, I'd forget you.

Speaker: I can't think of anything else. I have thought about nothing else but you and John for so long. So I want to help you. Okay. I want, I know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I want to help you for this moment. Can we try that? And if neither of it works, then at least we're both dead. So let me get this straight. You're only concerned about the part that affects you.

Speaker: You don't care about the fact that I'm stuck in this coin again. You only care about the part that affects you. No, I don't care about me. That's my point is I'm willing to give up my life to try and get you out of this place. So where are we? What's the light at the end of this tunnel? You need to move Silas. Get off your butts and move.

Speaker: What would you be doing right now if I wasn't here? I would have left already. You can leave? Ah, yeah. I have plenty of magic that keeps me from stuff like this. Then why didn't it already work? Not my magic. I couldn't do anything with the ball because it incapacitates me. That's why you have to be great, powerful like God to be able to talk through it. Well, just leave. I want to save you. Can I not leave with you?

Speaker: I didn't know if you could. You said if we left, you'd die. I didn't say I'd die. You said you'd be non -existent. There's a difference. Yeah, I don't want that either. Was I in existence in your life? No, but I want you to be. Okay, let's do the things that we would do if I was not here. Let's go.

Speaker: No, I can't. I don't want to risk losing you. Let's go. And then it is King L. Ross. Okay. He knows to get rid of you. So that's what he's going to do. This is why I had to go into a rage because I know I'll get half damage because I know he was going to attack me and 34 is what he did on that mouse. Oh my gosh. I couldn't take, I mean, I could, but I'm

Speaker: he is going to go for you with his war hammer does a 21 hit yes it does okay

Speaker: that again just for sure yeah it definitely does okay that is 19 so half that nine damage and he's gonna go again does a 20 no yeah 27 damage set 27 hit so yeah that hit

Speaker: There's a 20. Yeah. Wait, I didn't take damage for that last one, though. Oh, oh, right. Sorry. So he's hit you. He's hit you three times. And so he will roll damage now. Damage is only 11 that time. So 11 halved is five and then 14. So seven. He's just like.

Speaker: And then Jan just speaks up and he's like, Hava, you can join us. It'd be very easy to do that. Never. I would rather die. OK. Release your hold of him now. He looks at you and he's like, are you sure you're not joining us? Never. I can spin this any way I want. And he looks at you and he goes, then goodbye. And he casts Power Word Kill. OK.

Speaker: How much health, how much health do you? 70. Oh, so, Abba. Seriously? I want to know. You feel this cold essence come over you. What are your final thoughts? I could have done better. I had so much left in me. I had so much left in me. I could have done so much more. And with that, you fall to the ground.

Speaker: you

Speaker: Then you take a breath. And you hear John go, what, what, what? And you, the blood begins to flow from your body. You stand and you see Caesar burst through the tent after casting Counterspell. And he's, boy, hey mate, they thought

Speaker: You need to help for a moment there, and Caesar's in the fight now. So it's Luke, your turn. Okay. Yeah. We'd probably still be talking, and I guess it's like, I find, what do you want to talk about then, Steve? Well, let's try and figure a way out of here. I mean, are you sure? Are you sure that there's nothing we can do? You just disappear.

Speaker: Like, we probably want to get reunited with John, but hypothetically, we could just go home. Um, could we? I mean, I will return. You just cease to remember that I was here. So you're not gone. It'll be like nothing happened. Like nothing happened. Okay. I need you to roll a persuasion.

Speaker: because of all this conversation back and forth that we had. It's taking a picture. It's not a night one. It's two. I mean, you know what, roll it with advantage because you said, can we just go home? So if I succeed this, we're just going to go home. Maybe. I can't persuade you to go home.

Speaker: How about I'll go see the King. I'll, I'll go back and I'll just find you again. Okay. I'll see the King. I'll disappear. And then I'll come back and find you without that whole magic spell disappearing. Cause it would already have happened. Okay. Let's make a deal. You are free to do whatever you need to get to this point. You know, you.

Speaker: Whatever, whatever. You find me at some point, and we have a nice conversation. Even about the weather. Dustin, that's two things for you. In return, I am releasing you from this place.

Speaker: It's three things for you. With the risk of you maybe not existing, I don't know. But for conversation. What do you want? What do you want? For conversation. Sure. Let's do it. What do you, genuinely, what do you want out of this deal? Nothing. I don't, deals that brought me here, I don't, I, I, I can't be the hero you think I am or the villain.

Speaker: look Silas you are so much more than you were the better of us you didn't have weight of responsibility you didn't have a destiny to make this happen you didn't have any of that this is you are free to do what you need to do you have been more to me than you ever

Speaker: could be at this point I am so proud of you in whatever you've done and you can take that or not I don't care I just want you to be happy regardless of what where that brings you and what's happening to you if I'm there or not I did something so horrible to you I will never live down I understand that so don't put yourself down like that it's not you that's the deal shake on it

Speaker: that we'll have a conversation or you let me out and I'll find you again. I will let you out. You find me again. We have conversation. A good conversation. Fine. Deal. Okay. At some point, it doesn't have to be right away. At some point, we have a good conversation. Yes. Deal. Okay. Now we roll for the war outside. Let's just say thank God for bail. Yeah. Love that guy.

Speaker: Now it is back up top, which is you, Hava. You have the breath of life put back into you. You are up. You see Caesar there. She's looking at her hand. She's looking up Caesar. Did you? How did you? What happened?

Speaker: I thought I was gone. It doesn't matter. I thought it was. It's it's in the past. Don't worry. It's it was my highest spell I can make. So I'm here. What what what? Fill me in. I mean, I know this this thing is happening right here. This guy. Do you know who he is? No, not a clue. This this mouse just is. Do I know his name? I know his name, right, John?

Speaker: Yeah, from the memories, I think you could recall it. John, he's Silas' brother. Silas and Steve's brother, he's out to, I don't know, take over or something. He's manipulating my dad. Look at my dad. He doesn't know who I am. I mean, I hope he has some sort of glazed sort of look. I don't know. Oh, yeah.

Speaker: he's still completely zombified. Yeah. And I don't know if he's trying to take over. I don't know what he's trying to do, but he's manipulating my dad to keep this war going. And I'm trying to get him to stop the war. And I know my dad has the word, but this mouse is manipulating him. And he just attacked me with that spell that killed me. You hear John going,

Speaker: Maybe it did work. Hava, who are you talking to? I am talking, and then I remember that, or do I remember? Should I, should I roll to see if I remember if I know that I can remember Caesar's invisible when nobody, cause I, I feel like that's something Hava would forget. If she knows that he's invisible to John, then she'll pretend that she's talking to herself, but if she doesn't.

Speaker: she would not she would forget she would so forget oh gosh well that's why i'm rolling okay i'm rolling from history just see if i remember i'll see if i remember i'm praying for a nat one like no that's a nat 20 that's a nat 20 okay so you know you know you know what's going on you got it i am talking to that wait

Speaker: And then I look back at John and I'm pretending like I realized I was talking to myself. Oh, um, sorry. I thought I was just, that was like a weird flashback. I was just talking to myself. I don't roll deception or performance. What does it do? That's another net 20. That is what you needed. Cause he rolled a 17 and he gets a plus five.

Speaker: Okay. So he probably just thinks I'm a little bit, he thinks I'm cuckoo then. Yeah. He's just like, um, Oh. That's what my intention was that he thinks I'm cuckoo. So I guess that would be a performance, right? I mean, I guess it doesn't matter because it was not funny either way, but I wanted him to think I was going, it was kind of cuckoo. Yeah. Okay. Well, I don't know what kind of protection you have over yourself, but it should have killed you.

Speaker: Well, can't you see? I can't die. So release my father from your stupid charm right now or else you will get it coming for you. Am I still in my rage, by the way? Yeah, yeah, you're still in rage. Oh, no, you died. I mean, like you fainted, so you didn't, you're out of rage now. You can go back into rage.

Speaker: So I think I will just go into a rage and attack him with a reckless attack. No, I don't think I want to. I don't, I don't think it's going to be reckless right now. She wants to attack him, but she doesn't want to do it recklessly, I guess. So, uh, it's going to be attack my great sword, but I'm raging. So I get, okay. 15 does a 15 hit.

Speaker: a 15. No, it does not hit. He's a wizard? Don't they have like low armor class? No, he's not a wizard. He's more of like, he's kind of like a mixture of things. Okay. Um, anyway, okay, so I guess I slash for my sword and miss. So I'm gonna go for another attack. 18. Does that 18 hit?

Speaker: 18 hits, 18 hits, but he's going to use his shadow dodge. So, uh, 15, 15. So he's close to you. So he basically, he, he does his dodge, he disappears. And then he is basically, he was on a pillar and now he's like back on the, on the throne. I guess I can't do anything else. Okay. So that's your turn. And so it's Goro your turn now.

Speaker: Okay! Alright, I guess I'm just going to do this multi -attack again on my dad. I don't want to keep beating him, but he's like, took a back third of my house with a dragon elf, so I'm like, got to do it back to him, I guess. So yeah, we'll start with a bite, see how we go from there.

Speaker: Okay, that is going to be a 20. Only hit. Oh, wait. So he's going to use a key to do dodge. Course he is. Course he is. Okay. Good job, dad. Okay. So the claw, that is going to be a 15. Okay. 15 does not hit. It's not going well, guys. And that is an 18. 18 hits. All right. 12 damage. With these claw attacks.

Speaker: Yeah, the final Clorifact, because everything else either got dodged or missed. I mean, he still has. It's a pretty good hit. I mean, he has taken a lot of damage, so. But he's still not passed out. No, he's not passed out yet. No, he's not. Not at all. Okay. That is V's turn, or Steve. So V, or Steve, goes and, oh, how do we do this? I mean, I could just teleport us. I could do Dimension Door.

Speaker: I could, I thought there was a way that you had to get a plane shift. I could, there's a lot of ways I can, I can get this out. I could banish you back to your home play. I think if the dimension door can get us in here, you should be able to get us out. Yeah, I, I, yeah, that, that would work. Yeah. Okay. Let's do that. And he just waves his fingers and the door shimmers into focus. He brings you into the door and.

Speaker: He just takes you out to the like.

Speaker: back to the plane of where you are and or where you were and not exactly like over there but like where like basically he opened the door to the little thing and you walk through it and you see with your passive perception or whatnot in a kind of fast overview quick glance you see not just

Speaker: Hava, Caesar, John, and the king, but you see, kind of from a different perspective, like you were just in the other room, but the curtain's wide open, and explain what happens. He's not there. Never was. Okay. And V looks out. He's like, huh.

Speaker: Okay. And he can't cast another spell. So that's the end of his turn. He looks back and it is the contraption that was there. Wasn't a coin, wasn't a marble.

Speaker: It was a wine bottle. That's why you saw a distant hole. Okay, let's continue. It is King Elrass' turn. And he's just going to go ahead and attack you again. I mean, that's going to hit. I don't even need to. So 27 to hit. Okay. Then he's going to roll damage. 13 damage. Half damage. Yes. Half damage because you're back into a rage. Six points.

Speaker: Gee, only a 14 this time. No, that was to hit, not to. Oh, I see. Yeah. No, that doesn't hit.

Speaker: And yeah, you think he's just angry that he missed. And I think that is it for him. Then it's John's turn. He cast Markness. So what you see is, so no one can see anyone. It's 10 minutes. Oh, shoot. Can he see? No, he can't see either. Okay. Well, I can smell in the dark, so.

Speaker: I will say you're only rolling flat though, cause it's magical darkness. So yes, you can smell, but you still need to swing at a target. Smell can give you a generalization of an area, but you still need to swing. So you get a flat disadvantage. Okay. He's like, try and find me now.

Speaker: And we keep going to... It's Goro's dad. I misplaced him. He was supposed to go after Goro, but it's fine. So Goro's dad is gonna go on the offensive. There's a 24 hit. Yeah. 18 plus 21 damage. And then he's gonna go for his other attack. About half health with the dragon, I think. 72 damage taken in total. Yeah.

Speaker: only a 11 this time to hit nah that misses that misses gonna spend the uh now you know what he needs to dodge because he's finding a dragon so he's going to running like a monk dragon i'll do more pull it out more pull it out more pull it out i'll just murder him but i'm not allowed he's done with his turn i think yeah he's just those two hits

Speaker: And now it's Silas. I guess it's just me traveling there. If you roll a d20, if you get like a natural 20, you can show up this turn. If not, then it's a three plus. That's fine. Yeah. So you're, you're traveling there. So next turn you'll show up. Now we go back to the top. Oh, we know we do the war.

Speaker: I will say if this goes on for one more round, there is going to be a lot of things happening. Now we're back to the top. So it's Davida's turn.

Speaker: Okay. So I am going to use my awesome nose power to try and discern where he's at and make a attack. So I can roll for my attack, right? Or do I roll to find him? No, just roll for your attack. Just flat. Just normal. Just flat. Okay. So 16 hit. 16. I think.

Speaker: That is the armor clash, so that does not hit. Okay, then my second attack, that is a crit. Nice. Net 20, 18, 18 damage. 18, nice, okay. I'll just be shouting in the darkness. You can't stop me! He's gonna roll concentration again. Yeah, yeah, that's fine. Okay, let's find that one. I can't get hit by my dad anymore.

Speaker: My dad is taking a lot out of me. I know I can. I could get hit more. I just don't want to. It is girls' turn now. Okay, so I'm going to do my first claw attack, Jess. Not the bite. The claw. Okay. The claw. Just to give you a Toy Story reference. Does a 16 hit? 16 does not hit. 16 misses. That's not good. Oh, okay. Does a 20 hit? With a claw or a bite.

Speaker: Oh, the claw. I'm going claw all day. Yes. Yes, that hits. Yeah, 20. Okay.

Speaker: meh that is gonna be a 14 damage daddy and here comes the dodge I can sense it even if I rolled a crit I doubt he can just dodge this cuz monks break the game and it's true okay I'm going to go with my fight okay he's gonna dodge this one Garen freaking teed that's a 23 guaranteed well yeah he he's gonna dodge it regardless yeah of course he is he's gonna go for it

Speaker: i will say he is bloodied at this point yeah good i'm trying to just knock him out so i can believe but yeah that's me done now i'm ready to just get an absolute it sounds rude to say but like beating from my dad in a second it's vi's turn and he is going to

Speaker: And Caesar's not attacking, I'm assuming, because he doesn't want to. Caesar is just waiting to heal. Actually, I don't think he's had a turn, so I will add him in now, and he will heal you for 10 hit points. Right now, because we skipped a start? Yeah. Thank you. But be watching this darkness appear to spell magic, so the darkness appears. Do I notice him yet, Silas?

Speaker: I mean. Roll perception. Thirteen. Yeah, I think after you see like the darkness flowing into his wand. Steve! Steve, you're here! Where did you come from? Where's... Where's Silas? Where did you... Where'd you go? What happened? I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know where Silas went. I just got myself out of the... We're with him, right? Yeah, and then I ended up in a...

Speaker: bottle does John is saying what's up brother and he's like oh John why just why and he's like you know me I like to have a little bit of fun he's taking over my dad he's he's charmed him I my dad has no control now B can you help him you help my dad he didn't you need a break from the role I had

Speaker: I roll the natural one to actually care about the affairs that are happening here. John did? Don rolled a one? No, no, Steve. Steve rolled a one. He doesn't care what's happening. Is that what you're saying? He, it's not that he doesn't care. He doesn't feel right stepping in to a world he was supposed to let run its course. That's why you made him roll because

Speaker: Yes, exactly to see because he's hearing the screaming. He knows it's John and I was hoping.

Speaker: That would make a difference. But yeah, with a natural one, I can't say he's not going to do anything. He's not going to do it. He's not going to let John push. He's going to give you guys a fighting chance, but he's not going to, he's kind of like a worse Caesar in that he doesn't care because he's not supposed to, he's not trying to put his heart into this because he's like, I'm just trying to make it fair. So he's not going to go anywhere and he's going to keep his brother in check, but he's not going to do anything.

Speaker: So now he is Carl's dad. That's where he's supposed to be. Okay. A 16 does not hit, does it? Nope. Does not hit. Same thing. He's just trying to punch at this armor. He's like, I thought I had it. And, uh, not care, not get into it. So he's just going to carry on. Braid and blows.

Speaker: I love how we started off super strong, and now we're at the point of both of us just going, yeah, one of these is gonna hit, and that's it. That's it. Honestly. And it is now Caesar's turn. Father, what do you want me to do? Help my dad. I mean. Break his charm? How? I need him back. I think I don't have to spell magic, sadly. Can you block his blows to me? Or intervene if he tries to attack me again?

Speaker: Okay. And he readies an action to, if he attacks, he will kind of try and jump in the way. Sorry to ask you that, but I just. It's not a problem. It's hurting me. Not just. Yeah. I get it. Not just physically.

Speaker: it's a horrible situation and i'm not one to fight so i appreciate not having to fight and i can do this so okay and then it's king l ross's turn which he's just gonna go for another okay that is 14 damage to caesar and 19 damage to caesar so that's already 30 31 there's a hit and he just here caesar's just

Speaker: Oh, okay. Yeah, I can see how you feel bad about this. Sorry. It's not fun, mate. It's okay. It's okay. And it is down to... John. John is going to... I mean, he just does what he can, and he, like, gallops to you, Harbor. Ooh. Oh, this is interesting. How do we do this?

Speaker: Because that was Caesar's ready to action already. He doesn't see Caesar. Well he would be, I'm assuming it's more of a triangle thing, like where they're not, he's not like, Caesar is between me and my dad. Yes. But the mouse is not between my, me and my dad. He's coming from a different direction. Oh true, true. Yeah, yeah. Caesar wouldn't be blocking. Okay, so he gallops to, uh, Hava and just does a simple

Speaker: Natural 20. It's a hard hit. It's you, your brain just starts spinning. You're watching your father hit something in front of you. There's chaos happening outside. Your brain just starts going and you take 32 points of damage, psychic damage. But he's right next to you. Now it is Silas's turn. You show up.

Speaker: Yeah. How far am I from? Maybe like 15 feet. Not, not even maybe. No, I think it was like 10 actually. Okay. I'll probably play cheerleader. I'll run up to her and be like, you could do this. Uh, do cure wounds. Oh, amazing. Yeah. I might do it at like third. Okay. And then also I'll party. 17. Nice.

Speaker: And you see John just being like, what are you doing? Silas, what is this? Is she nice? What are you doing? Oh, she's nice. She is nice. Why are you trying to kill the princess? Well, she just she's getting in the way. She's changing the plan. You seem to be changing the plan. You see Steve like in the background. Hey, Silas. You really want to use it on this? Oh, yeah, sure. What am I using it on? Never mind.

Speaker: Good to see you. His face is like, what? So now we do the war really quick. Oh, that is so good. Do you want to help me with this, Steve? Sure. What do you need? To stop John. Also good. Yeah, we do need to do that, don't we? And he looks at him and John's like, he, he, he.

Speaker: Aren't I a stinker? Oh my goodness. I mean, it's great. This is, so all this is happening, right? You guys are fighting for this. I mean, it's not great for Hava, to be honest. I want to stop the war. I want to stop fighting. But you see, you hear in the background, you, you were hearing like massacres. You were hearing fight during explosions. You were hearing fire, everything out. And now it's peace and quiet. And in a role, John goes, well,

Speaker: At least the war is over. No, what? Wait, what happened? What do you mean the war is over? What happened? Why is there... The fighting stopped, but there's... What happened? You got what you wanted. It's over. Isn't that nice? It's not what I wanted. Peace. Not killing. Well, I think there's only one thing that needs to be taken care of, and I think, and I hope, it is. But yeah, it's over. Well... Release my...

Speaker: Dad, release him now. I'll hit you again. I can't do that because then I will for surely die. So I'll take a swing at him. 11. 11 does not hit. Oh, right. I can roll a d8. Thank you. Thank you for that. Oh yes, yeah. Plus eight. So 19. 19 hits. So he's going to use a shadow dodge now.

Speaker: Okay. At least I can get him this time. Hopefully. I have to roll to see how close he is though, right? Oh yes. Yeah. The 10. I'd say that means he's close. 10. I said 10 and above is close. So. Okay. So I'm going to swing again. Okay. That's a 17. 17 hits. 11 damage. Nice. He is not happy about that. And no one is healing him. Okay. And that's your turn.

Speaker: yeah just do like another rage scream just like just go away now rotten horrible mouse and his concentration he passes concentration just letting you know he just says look it's only hard feelings and totally personal so yeah it's Garro's turn all right oh i've

Speaker: I have eight key points, but the problem is I don't know how many my dad's gonna have, so let's go. Right, let's go with a claw attack, Jess. Okay, that's a big hit. 25. 25. Okay, solid. And then that's gonna be... Alright, so it's 2d6x4, that's 14 damage. And he is down. I'm assuming they're not lethal like claw attacks, so he's just down. He's not. And death saves.

Speaker: Yeah, I don't want to kill my dad. My intentions are just to put him out. My other question is, does he have the gauntlet on the other working hand? Yes. Yeah, I'm napping that immediately.

Speaker: Now my other question is, was the gun on the other arm? Yes. Yeah, I'm nabbing that too. And then I'm just like, peace dad, in a bit. And I'm gone. I'm literally gone. I don't want to give him any opportunities, but I've just took some photos. Yeah, it was sweet. Cool. And so now I'm going to fly and find where Haver is or anyone that I know. So maybe find Haver. That's my plan. Do I have to do a like a search? I need to make a rule. Oh, poop on a stick.

Speaker: I'm so glad you didn't die. So you are flying over this calm scenery now. Okay. Completely terrifying everyone knowing that there was a dragon, there is a dragon in the pyramid. Okay. And maybe it was released. They don't know. It's only hearsay because anybody who tried to enter the pyramid

Speaker: didn't leave it's just shouting and whatever so this is all so nothing's happened yet but I'm going to change the war initiative to attack dragon initiative

Speaker: oh flipping sideways okay that's so you can look i mean obviously you can definitely look role perception but that is their new target is it a spell is it a spell that i am like becoming for an hour okay oh balls for an hour or until it was concentration

Speaker: my plan then oh yeah that's true i'm gonna do the most simplest thing ever then i'm just gonna fly into the sky out of everyone's reach as quickly as possible and just like hilariously just disappear in the clouds until like you know it's time for me to not be a dragon and dive bomb in and just like land somewhere okay and slow fall yeah that's the plan because i don't want to get shot at

Speaker: Everyone's trying to murder me at some point. I hope Haber will be like, that's actually my friend. I don't even know you're a dragon. Only Silas knows. Only Silas knows. Yep, that's true. There might be a little bit of a medic here. He could just call out to me to stop focusing.

Speaker: Oh, that's true. I could. Couldn't I go? I should just do that. Shouldn't I? Yeah. Going into the air then. Jess, I'll, um, I'll land on a building and look cool and then just go like, Silas, like in the most booming voice ever. Uh, I kind of beat my dad. So can I just be me again? Just look pretty again. Can I just be me? Can I be a hero in a half shell, please? I don't get the reference, but okay.

Speaker: oh I don't know what to do here he looks okay Steve looks at you Silas and he's like so how do you want to punish him I don't kill him stop him obviously I think stop him contain him I don't know what you can do but so you're okay however if I just

Speaker: I don't want any more killing! I need him to stop controlling my dad. Whatever you can do to stop that. Put him in prison for the rest of his life. I don't care. Just get rid of him. Do you want my actual suggestion? Yes, please. If you have another Dimension Door, we can put him in the wine bottle.

Speaker: I was thinking that, but I don't think I can do that again because it went wrong the first time. And if he put me in there somehow, I don't know how he did it, but I don't want him to be able to get out. Well, he needed you to put him in. He used me against me. Wow. Really? Really, John? That's low. That's... That... Look at it, John.

Speaker: I'm out and he has to mention door and yeah he's gonna try and push a minute and he's just a little mouse he's just a little mouse pushing another little mouse who's he's he's he's not as strong he's he's just more smart and he uh it's kind of like that

Speaker: that reenactment of when he first fell into the marbles. He literally just trips over his own robe and he like falls in, falls towards John and like smashes his face to the ground multiple times and takes a d6 of damage. He rolled a one and he's like, okay, that didn't go as planned but the door's still there if we get him in, he's out. Everyone try to push him in. Out of therapy, yes, he's a giant lion all of a sudden.

Speaker: Yeah, yeah, it seems his turn so he's like okay Well, yeah, he like yes And I it's not I have nothing against you But I was told by my friend to do this and you try to kill her so like he didn't hear any of that and then he kicks him and then John's like oh

Speaker: Oh, there's a lion! And then flies into the dimension door. And it is calm. Is that end of the initiative? Or is my dad still under his spell? I believe. I mean, yeah, he still has concentration. But Caesar's going to cast Hold Person on King Eoroth. Eoroth needs to make a wisdom save, which is not that wise right now. Your dad is not smart. And that is a two.

Speaker: Solid. So King Elrath is now frozen. And oh, V did. He's like, oh, one moment. And he gets a cork and he plugs the whole of the wine bottle. And he's like, yeah, that was an escape hatch. I'm pretty sure he put that in there. And it is now John. John is going to try and do something. Did not work.

Speaker: It is now Silas. He needs to be enclosed in something where he can't get out and hurt people. Or just put something somewhere very far away, Steve says. I think you have an idea, Goro. What is your idea? So we just put him through that gate, right? John has been pushed through. King Elrosh is standing there frozen.

Speaker: So Aros is under who spell? Sorry, I'm late to the party because obviously I just beat up my dad. So I'm like, why is he - Oh, so Gora showed up already? Yes. Okay. John is the bad guy. John is currently controlling the king. Okay. Uh, teleport me where the John is or where the, or open that door again and I will gladly say hello to him. If we, if we get John's concentration ruined, will he stop focusing on Aros?

Speaker: Yeah. I mean, if his concentration is gone, then it's gone. Can we shake the bottle? What? Can I shake the bottle? Oh yeah. I think I'll shake the bottle. Oh, I'm going to roll. I'll do one roll to see if he keeps his concentration. If he does get, loses concentration, then it's affecting him. If, if he doesn't.

Speaker: Then it's not affecting. He loses concentration. So you, you kind of interpret that Silas as like, it was his plan for Steve was basically just to torture him because on the, in the coin, you didn't get disoriented or edit, but like, and the bottle he's like, he made it so that he could mess with you like that. But yes, that is, so your father comes to Goro, your dad lying there.

Speaker: conscious unconscious it's not a pretty sight and at some point he will wake up and sadly end his own life oh no yeah i yeah it's samurai code samurai code yeah i know exactly where this is going yeah if i got my ass handed to me i should have killed myself that's why my dad's saying i'm dishonorable wait now it comes full circle ah

Speaker: Whoops, sorry dad. Yeah, I should have should have died a long time ago to be honest as this all comes to a close hava Silas Everyone there you see purity Run in and she says it's over. We won. We've taken them back to land. We have prisoners We have a lot of casualties, but it's over. Did you see PJ?

Speaker: No, actually, I don't. Again, I don't know who this PJ is. I know the description, but there was a lot. There was not a lot. There was maybe two honor folk. I'm not sure. Don't know what side they were on. Was not paying attention fully, to be honest. Seven? Seven? Seven sadly was lost in the fight.

Speaker: Uh, and I'm just going to turn to my dad and be like, this is not right. This shouldn't have happened. I don't, I don't trust your ruling over this. Like this doesn't know this was wrong. You shouldn't have come in here and acted like you owned the place. But it was hours. You kill people for it. That does not make it yours. You took it. You stole it. And many of ours were killed too. You hurt me.

Speaker: Wow, that, that, I want you to roll a d12 for that one. Two d12s. Oh my god, emotional damage. Emotional damage. 17. 17 damage. Oh my god. Okay, so I feel like a sense of like, as soon as Haver says there's no PJ, I feel like I should just like put a hand on her and I go, I'll go have a look. Because my code of honor, I need to go look for the guy.

Speaker: You go look, Haba, you continue this conversation with your father. Silas, what do you do? I want to see the King. I actually need him and be like, Hey, see if he even recognizes me. Hi, are you an evil being out to get me as well? No, I want to help. You don't remember me, do you? I,

Speaker: I mean, you tell me did, did you spend any moment that you were still in the coin? I would have left the coin to be able to talk to him when we knew each other, but that was a long time ago. So it was a long time ago. He, he doesn't, he's like, uh, I remember a lot of John, only John.

Speaker: No, it was all right. He helped. I mean, he, he great, great advice, great consultation, consultation, consultation. He, he helped me a lot with, with big words. Are you related to him? I am his brother and I will do my best to try to fill his shoes if you want to. I would love that because I don't know what I had a plan with John.

Speaker: to take back the kingdom, he orchestrated it to the tea, and now he's not here, so I don't know what to do next. I'm good at smashing people. Yes, though I may help you more diplomatically than he did. Yes! That doesn't mean we don't get to hurt people, but... Yes! Now you're speaking my language! I don't think you're fit to rule how gun damage my dad so bad.

Speaker: I don't think you're fit to rule this kingdom. You have too much anger, too much resentment. Let me take it. Support me in this. I feel called, I have this potential. I feel like I can do this. Roll flat persuasion. And I'm gonna use my inspiration to roll again. And I'm going to use my lucky coin to roll again.

Speaker: She's doing everything. I love it. She's trying to get a nat 20. That's what she is. She probably had a good role. Yeah. Oh, yeah. But it's it was so good. If it's a 20 from Leafs coin, I would love this. Oh, yeah. That'd be good. Storytelling 17. He looks at actually, you know, I'm going to give you a posing role. I was going to make a point, but there's a lot of things going against doing this, but I'm going to make him roll. He looks at you and he says, buddy, I know one out there is going to really listen to you.

Speaker: Like, I'm happy to try, but you might start another war, just FYI. Not if you support me. Even then, these barbarians have been savage for so long. I don't want to be a barbarian. I don't want that anymore. I know. That's my point. It's my point. I'm changing. I am changing.

Speaker: Sure, I get that. I see it and I see I'm not fit to lead. Your mother did most of that. You get a lot out of this from her. She was strong, wasn't she? It was. I was just a hammer. She was everything. And then she was taken by who knows what. She was killed. She was holding me. I was in her arms and I remember.

Speaker: But you weren't, you're not, you're, you're not one of us. You are better. You are better than us. You are. I can see it. I see, like I said, do you see your mother? I'm not, does not a backhanded compliment. That is a full compliment to say that I'm reckless. I break things. That's why I had John and now I have Silas. You say your name was Silas. Whatever you want to call me.

Speaker: I want to call you by your name. I want to respect you. And also during this time, Caesar kind of walks up and like puts his arm on you, Hava. And he's like, Hey, you have, you have my support. I'm fully with you. But I still didn't convince my dad, did I? You did. He, he, he's just warning you that it's not going to be easy. It's not going to probably go well. Right. I'm, I'm willing to fight for that. I'm willing to make sacrifices at

Speaker: People know me that I've made some mistakes, but I've changed and I will do my best to make life better here in the kingdom. And I know that I have friends who will support me in that.

Speaker: As she says that, I'll do a major image behind her to just show her saving the burning village and her giving that inspirational speech to the people out of the prison and everything she's done good as a good leader behind. And I would say you don't even have to roll for that. He just takes a tear to that and he's just like, what do you think, Purity?

Speaker: and purity also stands there. She puts her arm around you and she leaves. Ava, you wanna do this? How old are you, little pup? What time has gone by? I was saying five. Okay, it's dog years, come on. You're five, well.

Speaker: That's really old. I'm just kidding. I'm quite older than that, but I see the potential in you. I followed your mother to the end. Wish I was there again. It's going to be hard if you're willing to cope with that casualties. Okay. Yeah. I think I can do this. I want to make things better. I know I can do better. I will do better. I'll do better than all the Kings and Queens in the past. I want to make life better.

Speaker: And to start, we need to get rid of this pyramid, and I entrust that to you, Caesar. I know it needs to be dealt with. If you can find Celeste, I know she has marbles, but she might be able to make some more marbles. Yeah, well, we got it. I think I understand what to do. And actually, Steve,

Speaker: Uh, yeah, uh, I am not allowed to, to, to do anything. I'm sorry. I need to go home. He looks at Silas. We need to go home. Where's your home? I'm looking back and forth between them. Where, what do you mean? Where are you? Where are you going? Home. I can't say very much more. Or we could stay here. Are you going to leave? I need as much support as I can. You guys are able to help me.

Speaker: I'll be internally grateful. Just stick around for a year or two. Help me get things in order. Roll me a persuasion. With help, I will say Silas's big mouse eyes have come out. Like, we could stay here. That's a 19. Okay, twist my leg. Fine, I'm gonna stay. I'm not gonna do anything. I will watch. I will not interfere. It's fine. I just want you here as my brother.

Speaker: He just weeps. He goes into your arms and just weeps. Aw, big hug everyone! Group hug! He's like, oh, okay, okay. I just care about Silas for now. The group hug is a bit too much. He tries to hop out away from it a little bit. Has PJ been found yet? It's only been a few moments. I will say Goro -Romi perception.

Speaker: 17. 17? You do hear a little recognizable otter voice in a jail cell. Oh. Hey, let me out. Let me out. I need to go find my friend. Let me, me you. I might not care about this life, but they do. They do. I need to help them.

Speaker: So I just literally walk over and he's in like, is he in a small cage? He's in a very tiny cage. He's like a dog. I literally would just pick it up and have a big grin from side to side and be like, oh, Hava will be pleased. Like, Agora? Hava will be pleased. Hey, bud.

Speaker: He, he like touches your face. Can you let me out of here? I just, I want to give you a proper hug. I'm so happy to see you. Okay. So Gora will open the cage. He comes out and he just gives you a hug. He's like, what happened? Are we still fighting? There was a lot of people dying in front of me again. I think the fighting just stops. I was dealing with family issues.

Speaker: But I think the fighting will stop. I'm going to take you to Haver. It's a great idea. We're going out. Yeah. And so we'll, after a short time, I guess we'll come join Haver and I'll hilariously say something. You made it. Oh my gosh. I was so worried about you. I just, I was hoping you were okay this whole time. I had to, I had to deal with this whole crazy thing. And now I'm going to, I'm going to rule.

Speaker: I'm gonna be the queen. I - He goes for your hand. He was gonna give you a hug, but you just say, he goes for your hand and goes, are you okay? He puts his hand in your forehead like, are you sick? Are you sure? This is my birthright. I know I can do this. Okay, okay, Hava. It didn't kill a lot of people before. I've changed. Haven't you seen that?

Speaker: I've not seen you. I mean, we went from fighting in a pyramid to... I've seen you blow up, or I heard you threw a fireball? You... Yeah, but I told... You threw Goro into the abyss? But you knew I was coming here to stop the war, right? Not to make the fighting worse. Don't think we had that time to discuss it, but I believe it.

Speaker: I wanted to stop the fighting. I don't want to fight anymore. We're unconscious also on the way here. We really have it connected. Can we get a cup of tea together? That's all I care about. I don't care. Ruling not. I don't care. You're my friend. You're my best friend. Can we just hang out?

Speaker: Yeah, we'll catch up. It's just good to see you. Hey, let me give you a big hug. It's so good to see you. I saw so many people die. I'm so sorry. I mean, I'm dead inside, so it's fine. You could be revived. I was revived. And I think you could be revived as well. There's healing. We'll see. We'll see. So, Queen, you say? Yeah. Does it suit me? I feel like I could take on the world.

Speaker: Yeah I've got a good feeling about this one. So I go into my pouch in my side and I grab an ocarina and I said if I ever needed to get a hold of my mum or my dad this would call a bird that would send a message and it will find me wherever I am. I put it in her hand and I just say to her if you ever need me I'm a phone call away

Speaker: Okay, but I want you by my side always. Will you be my head guard? Or that's what it's called? Take your father's... I tried that once. It wasn't for me. I need to find my inner peace, but I will, if you ever need me, I'll be your friend. You're always welcome. You're always welcome. I mean, if you want, yeah, just, you're always, you've been my inspiration this whole time. I mean, I,

Speaker: I want to, I want to be more like how awesome you have become. Like it's definitely like, it's just, I've seen growth in you and it's been able to, I've been able to grow because of you and I want, yeah. I agree. But I also don't agree. I still need time to work on myself and I think my mum is going to help me with that. I need time of reflection. So like I say, you ever need me for anything, I'm literally

Speaker: a bird away, trust. So I go down on one knee and say, Your Majesty, it was an honor and a privilege. And then I'll just get up and ungoro -like open up both arms for a hug. Oh, I run in for that big old hug. Oh my goodness. And girl, you do feel a hug on your like leggings and it's PJ.

Speaker: And he says, I liked what you said. As much as I want to be here for you, Halva, I am not in the headspace. I think, I know this is going to sound really weird, but I think I need to go with Goro. I need to accept my failures. I need to, or die. You know, either one. No, no, no, no. You're not dying. You're not dying on me. But I feel like Goro can keep me in check. He's been through this. Seems like he's getting on the other side. I need that.

Speaker: It'd be leaked 2 .0. No, you're just PJ. I don't think I can ever be leaked. Newly. No. Turning to a new leak. Turn to a new leak. Yeah. Okay. End it. Yeah. Anything else? Anybody wants to do? No? Okay. So I want each of you to make a D20 roll and tell me the number you may roll.

Speaker: Is this like the higher, the better, or is it just a matter? Higher, the better, probably. Okay. I wasn't sure if it was like, oh, you assigned a number to something, something, whatever. Just flat? Yeah, just flat. 16. 16. 10. 17. 17. Oh, very good.

Speaker: You exit with this goal in mind of ruling this kingdom. It's been about three years since and you're rebuilding. The pyramid has disappeared. The kingdom is coming back together. There's no walls in between walls. It is back to being a full kingdom. It wasn't and doesn't have to be the vaulting kingdom anymore.

Speaker: and Winterhold is actually being rebuilt, and Baloch has united his kingdom with your kingdom. He's still the king, but he answers to you. Respect. Now, there has been some things that aren't always great, and when you remove the pyramid, you actually find out that

Speaker: It was King Darren that wiped everyone's minds for the day of forget. You find out his treasure trove of multiple magical items that he has kept secret, hidden deep down.

Speaker: You also find out that he was going mad because one of the items was a memory racer. And so he would erase his memory pretty much all the time now. So he'd never be hot with anything. And he was always had an alibi, but he was driving him crazy. You find out he cast the spell over the Voldemort kingdom that made technology grow.

Speaker: You find out all these different secrets and you unite the people. Again, there's not always, it's not always perfect. There's always stragglers, smugglers, thieves, murderers, but you have a wonderful secret organization helping you out. With Caesar leading the, heading that up. Maybe. Okay, I'll be okay with that. I don't want to do his dirty work anymore, but I don't mind if he's doing stuff.

Speaker: sure under my under my rule actually i will say it's not it's not caesar it is willie

Speaker: Not in the greatest kind of way, but he is doing it. He's getting the job done as he should and as he has to. And Caesar is hanging out. He talks to Steve sometimes. He talks to, talks around. He kind of, he, he likes his invisibility, but he does, he like goes to his same chair every day. And if somebody, and everyone knows that's the Caesar chair. And if they want advice, they want to talk, they want to just have a good hug.

Speaker: They touch the chair if they've never seen him before and he does it. He's retired, but still helping. He's retired, but still helping. Yeah, kind of. What is Abba too? Yeah, I think with all the changes, the rebuilding, like she's been able to get advice, I think from like, yeah, like, I mean,

Speaker: just her purity, right? She was the dad's. And so I feel like I'm getting help from her and from Silas and Steve, I think would just have been helping her. And she's grown into this, yeah, I feel like a pretty, fairly powerful leader, but like one who I would hope inspires people. And yeah, I feel like if there was to be some sort of

Speaker: celebration or something, a rededication of the city, not the Voldemort kingdom anymore, but probably rename it. I feel like it would rename it something like Havenwood so that it would be like a safe place for all animals and then planting a forest around the area to give it a more welcoming feel to it. Havenwood sounds right.

Speaker: Havenwood. It's called wood. Okay, sure. You do you you are the queen. So yeah, we'll, we'll rename the kingdom Havenwood. And it's, you know, free to people. You know, there's, yeah, I feel like there would be a dedication celebration or bring all my friends back and, uh,

Speaker: Yeah, you kind of are coming together for a party. Yeah. Cool. What's going through your mind, I guess, while it's happening? Right. Just a sense of peace and determination to make things nice and good. I think that's pretty much it. I think it's just optimism, seeing what changes have been made.

Speaker: seeing all the things that, you know, still need to be worked on, but with a new name, a new purpose, a new, yeah.

Speaker: You see at that point like your father like shows up to you and he's just like he like has his hammer out just slamming on the ground like so happy like all this is happening and he is dressed nicely from the neck down to his like belly button and then he's got really raggedy old trousers that he used to wear three years ago that he's just like they're comfortable.

Speaker: It reminds me of the good old days. I'm sorry. And you realize at that moment, you're like, yeah, you realize you're like, I still got to work on my dad. Do you have anything else you want to do? Say B. No, let's party. And then we go to Silas. What is, yeah, what, what's been going on for you for the past three years and what's going on in your mind right now?

Speaker: I think Silas stayed to help Hava as she's starting out being queen and just that transition and then probably Steve and I went home after that. Just knowing Steve and how he probably doesn't want to stay for too long.

Speaker: Would you have left after this celebration though? Would you have stayed for three years? Or maybe, maybe the plan is that you, well, it's up to you, but the plan could be that you're leaving like tomorrow because you feel like now it's kind of like, this is done. Let's celebrate then. But I know how that doesn't need me. How was, how was a good leader in her own on her own. So she doesn't need me. And so it's just like, all right, we're going to go home now after this. Let's party.

Speaker: send off or whatever for hava girl what what have you been doing these past three years and what's going on in your mind now okay well i probably went home share with my mom got pj in the right mindset while doing that pj me went back to the other folk kingdom rebuild their village because obviously it was no more and then left pj in charge i then went

Speaker: around and did some wandering. And then obviously when people were saying there was going to be a party, I'm kind of surprised, like have a by inviting the whole. I would have invited. No, I would have invited. I know. I know. You wouldn't know. I would just come with those guys and just be like, cool. So basically I was just been wandering the planes. There's been any trouble. Probably deal with it. The swift hand of justice. Right. But most of the time just kind of just being the, the, was it the outsider?

Speaker: or the wanderer, shall we say, just like that old school TV show called Kung Fu. Just walk in the place. And of course, and you're back at the party, I would be asking you to come and work for me. Oh yeah, of course. Every time. Every time you get to be there. Every time. So are you ready? Are you ready to take your position here? Just a big smile and no answer all the time. Just always. Always a place where you're here. Yeah.

Speaker: I know. Oh, I need to ask one thing. Did my dad kill himself? Or did he? I feel like we would have put him in a prison, but he still would have found a way. He still would have tried to do it. Yeah. Every day, every hour. I feel like it would be for me like honorably then to like

Speaker: when he, if it knew he would die, I was probably gonna give him a proper burial with my mum and basically have a nice little zen garden for him and just remember him for the man he used to be and not the man he became and then just know not to make those mistakes that he did so yeah right now feeling

Speaker: kind of cool to be back. It's always interesting. I guess Gora probably got called not all the time, but a few times just to come in and just see how she's doing. But like, just to see where she was and like where she is now, there's like a sense of pride in that, that she's like, really, I know, like, I'm happy for her. And that she's like, become something I didn't even know that was possible, which is kind of cool.

Speaker: Yeah, those sleepless or like those moments where she was just so overwhelmed with whatnot, she just sends the bird over to you and you're just like, hey, it's cool. You're going to be okay. And yeah, so as we come to a close and this time and this session and this game and this campaign, we remember those who were with us.

Speaker: Not just in -game, but out -of -game with Keith and Sam and Azazat. And guest stars Mike, Ariana, I think those are the two for now in this one. And then Luke again. And a quick stint from Abby one time.

Speaker: Hava, this is Chaser. There's something I need to tell you about. I've had these memories returning to me from when I was a p - And I remember my parents. My real parents.

Speaker: And there's this memory that I can't stop thinking about where I'm at a lab, my parents' lab. We're all there together and as I'm in my parents' lab, there's this line of animals and they're all lining up for an experiment. The experiment is called Animal Kingdom.

Speaker: And one by one, they're going through this portal. There was this little girl, this little fainine, and she dropped her doll, and I was picking it up and wanted to go after her. And next thing I know, I'm through the portal. And there's this sign that says, welcome to the zoo. This is the world we're in, Hava.

Speaker: I need to find my way back and that's where I'm going to find this portal. I'm going home. There's more here than we realize is going on, Hava. I'm going home.

Speaker: Hi, this is Devita. I hope you enjoyed our finale of Animal Kingdom. Our next big adventure will be bringing us back into the past, a long time ago and far, far away into another galaxy completely.

Speaker: Our story begins in a far and distant galaxy, a place filled with sentient aliens and mythical forces, an environment that is forever tipping the scales towards rebellion and revolution.

Speaker: grave danger lies hidden in every cantina, spaceport, and stranger's glass. In this galaxy we will follow a deviant group of adventurers brought together by chance or perhaps by fate. This ragtag group of a Jawa, a Chiss, a Jedi, and a Mandalorian will travel across this great galaxy fighting their way through the unknown and weaving a powerful destiny.

Speaker: This is rolling across the pond. Just kidding. That's not going to be our intro. Probably not. It'll probably be more like this. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Cue the copyright, iconic theme song, and opening crawl.

Speaker: In the months following the end of the Clone Wars and the destruction of the Jedi and Separatist forces, former Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine has declared that the Republic will be no more and that a new empire would rise, himself as Emperor. Imperial forces are sent out throughout the galaxy, bringing rules and regulations in the guise of protection, oppressing and taking advantage of

Speaker: those less fortunate and taking violent actions against any resistance. This is where we find our adventurers in this dawn of defiance. Welcome to Rolling Across the Pond. That's right, we are starting a Star Wars 5th edition D &D campaign with myself as the GM.

Speaker: We will be playing through the Dawn of Defiance campaign and we will be releasing video footage of us playing so you can finally see what most of us look like, though some may choose not to have their faces out there. So make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel if you'd like to see us too. We are excited and we hope you enjoy it. Stay tuned and may the force be with you.
