Oh, yeah. This is just like a portion of the stuff that I like when I'm done working on it, I put it in this room. So it's like, you know, not as dusty as my workroom. Okay. But yeah, i like I said, i I make masks when I'm not working on film stuff. So, yeah.

that's a big thing that I do is like go to conventions, sell masks, props, uh, just sculptures. Like just doesn't have to be hard stuff. I make stuff like, uh, like one of the latest things I made was a Charlie Brown theme, Halloween Charlie we Brown theme for my daughter.

Um, so funny story how I met Cliff. I actually worked with, I worked on this film called Laugh in Connecticut. And, uh, I met him. We actually got a house, like we were in the Airbnb together, hung out for the night, had a cool conversation.

ah and then, you know, fast forward two years later, we had an audition. He came down to the audition where, where I'm at. And I just assumed that he was in Connecticut. So he was like, ah I just drove all the way down here from like 17 hours.

I'm like, dude, Connecticut's only like two and half hours. He's like, no, I live in Minnesota. And I was just out blown away. I was like, man, you drove 17 hours to come to a 10 minute audition.

But you could have literally submitted a video audition. and And he was like, yeah, I'm just dedicated to this. And the crazy thing is, I felt so bad. I was like, he didn't even get a role for that movie.

And I was like, I feel like I had to give you a role that you came all the way down here for that. awesome But I told him, I was like, man, like, just because how dedicated he is and like, I've seen stuff that he's done.

Well, with this film, what we got coming up is our premiere. We got our premiere coming up on August sixteenth ah That is in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We've already sold out that premiere.

um And that's through RC Theaters. And but Tom's the one that worked all this out. and I'm just... I'm just yapping. But anyways, RC theaters. And so Tom got another theater for us, which is at what? August 29th, I believe.

you were In York, Pennsylvania. And we've technically already sold that theater out. So now it's the next step is see if we can get a, I wants to work on getting like a big a hundred seat theater.

Oh, so I grew up in the 80s, like, you know, all the 80s horror, and that was like my thing. um ah seen like my first horror movie when I was like nine years old in the theater. Like I've seen the original Friday the 13th.

That's how old I am. And I, you know, been fascinated with horror since, you know, since then. um And then, you know, just I went to Tom Savini's school.

in 2010 and then uh been doing it ever since okay i was just like i said i i grew up like a huge fan of like savini anything savini was doing i was a big fan of you know so like you know he was like the guy who did all like all the gorge stuff in the 80s so i'd like obviously following him um don't have dead the prayer hour to burn in like friday the 13th they were always like maniac but like they were my favorites So i just wanted to do stuff like that. And then ah it was weird because I got on a film set by accident.

And the very first film I worked on was with a gentleman named Isaac Williams. And it was his first feature film. And how this all like recycles around, i worked on you know films for like 15, 18 years. And then ah I kept in touch with Isaac, you know, all the time, but he stopped working on films.

And, you know, now 20 something years later, 18 years later, he's ah shooting this film that we're working, you know, that we just did. And what is the name of this film?

The Sick and Twisted Tales. Sick and Twisted Tales. Yeah, an anthology. It has three short films in it, plus the host stuff, which is like their own short film.

Is it kind of like a Tales from the Crypt kind of meets? Yeah, it's like you know like like a Creepshow Tales from the Crypt kind of deal. It's like three films that have nothing to do with each other.

um the only thing that ties it all together is the host with Cliff and Amber. you know And we and we have our we have our own little story that we're both fulfilling throughout the movie as well. So yeah we have we have our own adventure that we're on as and then these movies are a part of that story. so Okay, very cool. yeah I put that up there a second ago. I said 80s horror movies were hands down the best. That was from Jinxed.

Here's the thing. The new stuff, is I think they're using more animation, blood animation, like putting people in green screen stuff. And I think that there's ways that you can kind of tell that versus like, hey, an artist put that together. i mean That Freddie mask that Robert Englund wearing.

that's That's not AI. That's not a green screen. That's the you know that's not the green mask or whatever. so Yeah, it's 100%. There's no CGI in the 80s. It's all practical.

yeah um I'm not a big fan of CGI stuff, um but I will say like when it's mixed with the practical and it's done right, it looks good. um a good and like A good example for that is, and it's not like ah like one of my favorite movies or anything, but the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street He was kind of like makeup plus green screen.

ah quick Let's jump to this one. My question is from from Patricia Smith. She says, what was the hardest thing when making this movie? So we'll start with, ah let's start with Clifton. Perfect. I appreciate that, Patricia. I guess um the hardest thing for filming while me and Amber were out there, I would say it would be um day number was a big number two We were filming at a theater And we weren't sure exactly the layout of the inside or how we were going to do certain scenes. So, um, we ended up basically just having kind of free dialogue. So it was, um, just a lot of, uh, ad-libbing and, um, but, um,

I don't know. It actually all went really, really smooth, though. So it really it really wasn't hard, but that would have been it, was that we just came up with our own dialogue throughout that whole day. But it everything flowed so well that was awesome. yeah So they were able to keep the dialogue in the and the film without saying, hey, let's change this up or anything like that?

Well, what you like for the second day, there was no dialogue written. Oh. So it was it was like getting getting getting to the theater and then we had to see these different rooms where we were going to set up different scenes and then seeing exactly how we were going to get this to play out. And yeah and then the dialogue just kind of came off the tip of our tongues and everything just everything just went smooth, though. I mean, we finished that day ahead of schedule and yeah it was awesome. So...

It could stress you out because what are we going to do and say, but i guess that was the beauty of me and Amber though, is we've worked together. We're real life, really great friends. And so for us to work together and to do that, it was just really simple for us. So it worked out great. yeah.

It was planned out over like two years of making it. Because each each film that we made, like the first short we did was in 2024 the summer. And then, you know, we shot Pigsty, which is like 2025 in the summer.

come So it was a little bit smoother. Like, you know, making films is always stressful. No, I don't care who, you know, what anybody it says it's, it's always hard. um You know, I shot, it we made a film called Valentine bluffs. It's a fan film of my bloody Valentine.

And believe it or not, we shot it during COVID. a really bad experience with COVID for me. um And then we shot it in nine days.

Other than like the, the and to go back for like the hardest day for me of the whole anthology was easily the first day of shooting one of the shorts called Pigstie.

We shot it on a farm. It was like 110 degrees. it was hot like It was just really, really hot that day. i think we we had like 10 cases of water, and they all and it all went in like four hours. It ended up being like such a long day. We had a bunch of extras on there.
