Speaker: Not a chance.
Speaker: um back, bitches. About time. Took me a minute. Sorry. okay
Speaker: Did you guys miss me? What's happening, and gentlemen? Welcome to the show. My name is Brian. With me is that man right there. I'm Mark.
Speaker: Who didn't give up on the show, wasn't going to let me not come back. That's right. Lots of things have changed. Life moves very, very quickly, guys.
Speaker: A lot of things have happened. so I appreciate the patience. I appreciate the co-host, host the guest co-host that have made the show happen so that Mark wouldn't get out of doing the show. So thank you all for doing the show with Mark. And and again, thank you guys for hanging in there with us.
Speaker: What's happening, Mark? I mean, it was one hell of a summer for us. Yeah, it's not. It still sucks. Ready for I'm ready for next year already. Let's finish out this year strong.
Speaker: I mean the rest of this month, we got strong ones coming on. So that's going to be interesting for my birthday next Thursday. We're going to have clowns. um do do howy yes We'll talk more about that.
Speaker: We're going to releasing ah more stuff like little snippets of what we're, know, basically reels of what me and Brian are doing, um, you know, with the studio that's going to come along, uh, I apologize. this see that This is the problem. Mine's not doing it. And I'm trying to figure this all, but you know, fuck it.
Speaker: I don't care. me it's doinging it I blame it on the, I blame it on spectrum. It's all i good. So, so what, uh,
Speaker: What you want to talk about before we get the show started? Because I know we've got a ah great guest that we he's been on the show before. um It's been a while since we've seen him. So, you know yes, he was on here three years ago when we first started off.
Speaker: um Right after his him being on about, I'd say about two, three weeks later, we were let go from the network that we were on. Yeah, fuck that network. So I blame him.
Speaker: No, no. He called me old, so I'll blame him.
Speaker: Yeah, he's in the he's in the backstage saying, no, I didn't. amanda is Amanda is in the house, ladies and gentlemen. What's up, Amanda? How are you? So ah since you haven't been here in a while, don't you a bring our guest on?
Speaker: all right, listen, I don't want to butcher his name, but ladies and gentlemen, he is a up and coming there there he is he's an up-and-coming movie maker movie producer i think he's a he's doing production acting filming i mean he's gonna do everything um when we talked about this a few years back um it was it was just an idea and i think we are starting to see some steam so let's move on
Speaker: we does not teaser We do have a teaser for everybody. So stay by stand by for that. ah Let's bring on Keelan.
Speaker: Keelan, what's happening, man? How are you? Can you hear us?
Speaker: Can you hear us? I can't hear Brian. I can hear you. like What the? Hang on. Yeah, I was saying I can't. I was saying he was talking. like, can't hear you. All right. I'll be right back.
Speaker: It's Stringyard. It's just how that they are. Sometimes you got love it. See, I can blame you for stuff. But since you called me old, how about that? call you you oh He sort of did. It was on TikTok. He said only old people use his Facebook.
Speaker: I was just saying I don't know. suppose you i have You should, though. I mean, you should use them all. Use all and of media for, you know, to help you out. Yeah, it's actually it's actually pretty good. I joke about it, but it's actually pretty good platform. Well, with us with Instagram and stuff, it's a little bit harder for us to do it because we have to go from one screen to the next. It doesn't exactly allow us to come in here and just, you know, do with the rest of this stuff.
Speaker: No, I can't even hear you. Okay, now I can't hear you. You can't hear me?
Speaker: can't hear either, y'all. You can't hear me? How about now? I can hear you, yeah. He can't hear me. He can't hear me. can't hear Oh, stop it.
Speaker: It's like switching. It's crazy. Hey, Mark, guess what? You get to leave and come back, and when you do, make sure you hit the – there you go. so anyway so the movie that you have uh that you're working on i know it's a long process we know how it goes uh mark and i got selected to be a part of a movie as well um it is taking a very long time so we get it um finding the right actors actresses a team to to to have behind you i think is uh it's a big part of that right yeah
Speaker: it's uh it's pretty difficult um especially our goal is to make this like a super graphic horror film and the practical effects are just super costly bro like it's it's great can you hear us spend a lot of money or are you going to try to make a bunch of money to get these props uh so right now i've been making them with just materials basically like diy um and But we've raised over $1,000 so far, so a lot of that has gone to practical effects.
Speaker: Well, that's good. Can you hear me now? We're actually making a pretty good progress. We've been filming a decent amount this year, and we're looking to finish filming this year.
Speaker: And then it'll go into the editing process and then the distribution process, and um it should be released sometime next year. Well, that's good. Mark, can you hear Mark?
Speaker: Can you hear me? No.
Speaker: What the fucking hell? No, I can't hear Mark. Mark, you got to say abracadabra and adios. I'm about to roll this shit up. All right.
Speaker: tell us a little bit about the film while we're waiting on Mark to come back. um I know we talked about it before, yeah so I've i've kind of got a synopsis. Have you changed anything about the the the story?
Speaker: the origin or anything like that?
Speaker: ah Since three years? No, no. they're like The plot is the The plot is the same. It hasn't changed at all. you You still have the same person in mind for your- will learn um yeah I played the main character and the character, like I have an entirely different cast except for the actor who plays the killer in the film.
Speaker: Okay. And then one other person that's one of the friends, but everyone else is like recasted since. Now, originally, I think you talked about you wanted to shoot this that whole thing on an iPhone. Have you since changed your mind about that?
Speaker: No, it's still the same thing since now. still gonna Still gonna film the entire thing on on multiple iPhones or just one iPhone? um It'll probably be multiple, but at the moment, just one.
Speaker: Okay. I was thinking about upgrading the the camera quality, but... What I'm really trying to do is show filmmakers so you can make a quality piece of film with limited resources. It won't just be like a video taking out your phone. Like it's gonna look like a film and everything. you know, I've been working on it for four years, so I want it to look suitable.
Speaker: um And it has kind of what like an early 2000s horror vibe to it that I kind of like. So I decided to keep it. I wanna keep it. Okay.
Speaker: The future sequels or whatnot may be something different, like a different camera. so Can you hear me now? Can you hear me? can't hear you. don't know what's going on, bro. He has leave.
Speaker: You have to leave and come back in
Speaker: Keelan, did you hear me? Oh, I have to leave? Yeah, you got to back out and come right back in and then you should be able to hear us both. Okay. Okay. All right. While we're waiting for him to to leave and come back.
Speaker: I hate this stream yard stuff, but we need to go with something different. So that's going to be the problem. There's other platforms out there that, that would gladly take our business. I promise you. yeah But none of them are aa a as friendly as this one.
Speaker: Any other podcasters out there using anything that's as friendly or better than, um this platform, what is this stream shit? I mean, stream yard, reach out to us and let us know, please. We'd greatly appreciate it.
Speaker: Um, in the meantime,
Speaker: what did, what did you guys miss while I was gone? Let's see. um I got COVID. So that's still a thing. Uh, yeah, my, my roof is leaking, so I have to get a new roof.
Speaker: That's one of the reasons why we had kid last week. After Mark lost his mom, about a month later, I lost my sister in a car crash. um So, yeah, that's everything. I think I got you guys all caught up.
Speaker: Can you hear us? Can you hear us? Both of us? Yes. Perfect. About fucking time. ah It's unfortunately the StreamYard. It's the platform that we're on.
Speaker: So maybe one of these days we can make some money too and we can get a better platform. What did you guys use before? ah dream yard stream yard It was StreamYard. It was different back in the day.
Speaker: Last time we had him on, we had problems too. Did we? Yeah. It kept freezing up on him and disconnecting him and stuff like that. All right, Keelan, let's talk about how you came up with this idea. i know we talked about this several years ago, but let's pretend like we we are just now meeting for the first time.
Speaker: Let's talk about it. How'd you come up with it? Okay. We're switching. I was a YouTuber a long time ago. i made just like funny little skits and whatnot. and one day I decided to make a fake horror movie trailer called The Night.
Speaker: And um it was just like a little fake horror trailer. It was never supposed to ever come out. And one of my friends commented down below, like, this looks cool. And looking back at it looks horrible. But at the time, it was decent. And I'm like, you know, I can make an idea. can make something out of it. So I decided to turn into a full-blown movie. Back then, thought I can just take my phone and record, but that's not the case. You need like you need to know the techniques and whatnot. so I went to YouTube, looked up different filmmaking techniques. And for the past few years, I've been ah been a filmmaker ever since. This is actually what got me into filmmaking.
Speaker: And um since then, I changed the plot. I changed the characters and I changed the name. That was just Knight. No but. So ah it evolved into something else.
Speaker: Yeah, it used to be the Knight movie and now it's just Knight? It was just the Knight. Oh, the Knight, okay. Yeah. Okay, now it's just Knight?
Speaker: Yeah. Okay, so what plot what parts of the plot have changed or do you want to tell people, Marks? Yeah, I'll tell you. So originally the film was about like a person that experienced, it was like this killer that came and went to a party and killed a whole bunch of people and a year later he breaks out of prison and he comes back to kill people again at another party and i thought it was cool but then i realized there's a lot of horror movies like that like halloween is similar prom night so i was like let me try to switch it up so i changed it into something better a little bit deeper I decided to make it a half psychological horror movie and half psychological slasher horror film.
Speaker: So now it's about a young teen, a young graduated teen that's going through severe psychological trauma after witnessing a murder in the woods.
Speaker: Before it goes any more complex. How would you like to see the trailer or the teaser? I want to see it. All right. We're going play that. Okay. Okay.
Speaker: FaceTime video. Yeah. Well, what have you been doing for calling for, man? You been asleep. Yes, baby. Well, waiting down the top of somebody to come pick you up.
Speaker: In a second, we're gonna go back with a guy, right? Where? Wow, you weren't lying. This place is amazing.
Speaker: Maybe they got this way. don't know.
Speaker: I do know few things.
Speaker: I know that lot more people are going to suffer more than they ever suffered before. I know that he is going to stop at nothing.
Speaker: Thomas you need to tell me what's going on
Speaker: is your Is your killer a masked? What? Did you say something to me? No.
Speaker: You're hearing things. jerry after After that trailer, dude, I'm like, wait a minute. oh love what Anyway, is your killaler is your killer killer?
Speaker: is that goingnna no no no don't give that away No, no, because I see, like, you see the shadow, and that's either, like, a mask or that's, like, a wadded-up face.
Speaker: Care to explain? It's ah it supposed to be ah mystery. until you' wearing in somebody else's face. can't tell you. It will be a big reveal in the film, though.
Speaker: And the the quality has upgraded since that trailer. That trailer came out, like, two years ago. But the quality of the stuff has gotten better. That was the trailer you sent me a couple weeks back when I asked if you had anything. So that's the only thing we had. Yeah.
Speaker: yeah All right. so So you're tracking then? You're tracking to get done by the end of this year? Or no, you're trying you're trying to get done by the end of next year? Is that what you're trying to do? Yes. As far as like getting the film finished and released.
Speaker: Okay. um And all you said all new cast, so you didn't keep anybody the same, all your characters? are One person is the same, one of the friends in the main group. Okay.
Speaker: My killer. Okay. So you didn't kill the whole cast, you were like, I'm going to keep you? You know, people just have to go for college and move away and stuff like that. Some people weren't interested anymore.
Speaker: And that's the thing. I think when it comes to people shooting movies and stuff, it's always a time thing. And like, you know, we heard about a movie and then we were like, sweet. And then we're waiting and we're like, okay, well, it's been like almost a year. What the heck is happening?
Speaker: So the best part about that is, you know, when they have it, when we hear about the movie, sometimes we have them on before they actually start shooting the movie. So therefore we wait that extra long, at least a year to have it released.
Speaker: I don't know if you follow the guy, that any of the people here on talking shit, but we've had some great directors, writers, um movie creators on the show um i'm sure that if you're on any at any point looking for any kind of q and a sessions with those guys i'm sure that they'll be more than happy to to do some q and a you know i mean um you talk about you talk about effects and stuff like that um who's the what's the company that we've had on here um they did that send the snow white movie man that was
Speaker: oh iron uh yeah jason brooks yeah jason brooks yeah they made a they made a uh the death of snow white movie and it was absolute fire i loved it amazing is it like one of those like uh twisted childhood movies into like horror oh they did um um they did yeah they they put the horror aspect into it uh I thought that the way that they did it was good.
Speaker: um there's There's a director not too far from you, Keelan, that we're going to be working with hopefully here soon. um We're actually supposed to be in one of his movies. aye You might actually like what he has to say.
Speaker: Okay. i' I'll try to tune in for that one for sure. Yeah. yeah we're gonna ask to be start This is what i like doing. I like like connecting and stuff. And that's the goal, man. like ah like keith ah Keith watches our show almost religiously, i think.
Speaker: And thank you, Alyssa. and ah And thank you, Steven. appreciate it. um He watches the show and it has actually snag an actress from us.
Speaker: Well, not from us, but from being on the show. He was like, I've seen your work. would you be interested in this? And bada bing, bada boom. And that's how things happen. So if if you ever are watching our show and and you want to chime in and we have an actress or an actor on and it's somebody you think that you want to you know speak with and you know you're more than welcome to do that.
Speaker: We don't. We would have to watch our show. But you got watch the show, unfortunately. No, no, no. Listen, we have two fans. It's Steven and Alyssa. No, no, no, no, no. We have another fan.
Speaker: Oh, oh. ah That's our only fan. Oh, oh.
Speaker: Oh, man. um So during during all the changes and stuff, and you're you're not just doing... You're doing camera work, right?
Speaker: Yourself? Yes. yeah You're doing you're doing um props yourself. Are you getting any help?
Speaker: No. Currently not. You're doing it all yourself? Yeah. what was What was it that you were cutting into that made that noise when in the in the clip?
Speaker: ah It was like a part of a hand, like kind of like right here. Okay. um i like a ahead like a prostic Like a prosthetic?
Speaker: No, no, that that was my hand that you see. But um I had like this stuff called scar wax that I put on there. It's pretty cool, yeah. But it wasn't a lot of, it wasn't like really like, if you could see it was kind of dry, like there was no blood really. It was just like red color, but.
Speaker: Yeah. Yeah, that's that's when ah that's back when we had like it was no budget. It was no budget. Well, that's the thing, like in the dark, though, do you know what color blood is? I guess not. If I told you in the middle of the dark, in the darkness, if I told you that I'm bleeding blue blood, would you not believe me?
Speaker: I mean, I wouldn't believe you, but I wouldn't know. People, when they watch horror, they want to see the blood, guts, and everything. no i I like the sound, dude. And that's why I said, like, when he was using the razor, the razor it was like it was like that squishy sound that that kind of got my attention. I was like, oh, okay, well, that's fucking weird.
Speaker: i like sound, too, yeah. It's a big part of horror, for sure. so uh what about editing process are you doing that too or do you have a team that that's going to help you with that ah with different aspects like for example that trailer i edited a lot of the promotional stuff as far as the film i was going to edit segments of it but i and am currently working with an editor looking for other editors that can help out all guys you heard it here first
Speaker: Keelan's looking for other editors. if you're in Where are you at? and Are you up in Chicago? No, I'm in Texas. Texas? Oh, wait a minute. Why did I think he was from Chicago? i don't know.
Speaker: Hey, anybody in anybody know anybody in Texas that does film editing or anything like that? Keelan's always got a got his ears open. so Where are you guys at?
Speaker: We're in Florida. Florida? okay Yeah, we're right next door to you. Kind of. Are you? you know No. No, it's it's several hours to get to Texas. Trust me.
Speaker: we are We are doing a trip to New Orleans though ah for Halloween. So we're taking that drive. GPS says nine and a half hours. okay What do you, are is it like the element party or something? Him and his wife. Me, my wife and me, my wife and our best friends are all going take a trip, of a car trip this time.
Speaker: Last time we flew to not Chicago, we flew to Boston and we got to go and explore all over ah Boston and went to Salem during Halloween.
Speaker: We're just it's like that's our time of the year that we take our trips is right around the Halloween time frame. Because it's cooler. It's not that it's cooler, but you get to see different aspects of what people have going on in their cities, towns and whatnot. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Speaker: Because it it's the I just like it because of the fact that, you know, if you go up north at this time of year, you get the fall season, you know, the color of the leaves. Yeah, we don't get that here.
Speaker: You know what color our leaves are? Naked. In the wintertime, we don't have fucking leaves. What leaves? no they go from green to brown and that's it they gone uh what so what what part of texas you in you want to tell anybody i'm in uh dallas okay so you're in a bigger area too yeah it's around uh there's like a small city called the north richmond hills it's like 30 minutes away okay
Speaker: do you do you attend any like film classes or anything like that keelan no i i did a few years ago in high school but not anymore um you're out of high school now yeah i hope so what'd you say i said i hope so well when you started the project you were in high school right yeah yeah yeah he was senior if i'm not mistaken wow that's wow that was a long time was that three years ago Yeah, just about, almost. see
Speaker: See? So when you're not filming, what do you do? So, okay, when when I'm not filming, I'm filming.
Speaker: Like not literally, but I'm like writing stuff. okay I'm doing everything film related. do literally everything film related. I just filmed some stuff ah earlier this morning for night. It was like a little promotional thing. If I'm not doing that, I'm going live on my TikTok promoting night.
Speaker: which is ah is a is pretty good platform i gained like a thousand followers in a few days hyper so it's a good outlet um a lot of people are interested in the film so it's a very good way to get new faces and in front of my project absolutely yeah i'm doing it i'm doing everything like movie related like every single day that's good are you writing anything different in the meantime like i know you've got night on your plate but are you already working on like hey, I think I got this in the chamber too. i want to go ahead and start putting this on paper.
Speaker: ah i I have a few like short film ideas. i want to I want to do a Spider-Man short film. Okay. different I'm going to do different short films, but in terms of like a movie, after I get done filming night, I'm going to start writing the script for night two.
Speaker: So it's going to be a franchise. So you are going to make bigger budget. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, hell, that's how um what was that? What's what's your art? The comment about Terrifier. Terrifier started off. It was very low budget and now it's like mainstream. You know what i mean? Yeah. sure So i think that's where you're trying to get to. Right. You're trying to get Terrifier level at least.
Speaker: I'm trying to get more than that. OK. I'm trying to be up there with, you know, Michael Myers, Jason. that situation that's that's that's that is a huge goal and i hope that you attain that too for sure thank you yeah man hopefully i hope one day you guys are just like i'm gonna what's gonna happen is you're not gonna take our calls anymore you're gonna be like yeah no i don't have time one no no no i no i'm i'm i'm not looking to do that that's a ignore it's funny because last year he he messaged in that and see if uh
Speaker: if we wanted him to come on, I said, i wanted to wait a little bit until he got some more for the movie. yeah And he said, okay. And then i we talked, I believe, earlier this year.
Speaker: And I said, I'm going to hold a date in October for you. and And I kept my promise. I kept that. I didn't tell him what date, but I gave him a date.
Speaker: yeah Yeah. What do you got for music? Do you have composers and stuff like that on... like a part of the team? are you have multiple composers that I'm i'm working with. I'm to a little bit of of the score, a little bit.
Speaker: My friend Cameron that also plays the killer, he's going to a little bit of the score. I also have a friend named Taven, he's going to do a little bit.
Speaker: So that it's multiple people. like They're going to we're gonna be working together.
Speaker: Maybe Taven was the one. Was Taven the one? That's what I'm thinking. When he said the name, it sounds familiar. What? Is that who was on it three years ago?
Speaker: No. i No.
Speaker: Okay. That name just sounded familiar. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. It has a certain ring to it. Cool name. But yeah, the the goal, the overall goal is like you guys are just like chilling with some friends or something. And they're like, bro, it's this new movie coming out. It looked crazy. And then you look and you're like, um know I know that guy. oh dude, don't even worry because we'll be like, oh, no, we got the podcast episode. Watch this. Watch this. yeah And we have two of them.
Speaker: We're going look at where he came from and look at where he is now. You know what i mean? Yeah. So. And he'll be the one sitting there. I don't know who the hell they are. That's 100% going to happen.
Speaker: No, no, no. All right, let's do this. Let's take a quick break. um Go get a drink. Listen to some music. We'll be back in, what, four minutes?
Speaker: And when we come ladies gentlemen, we're going to play a little bit of something called Florida or Not Florida. And ladies and gentlemen, I'm your host. Brian. That's right.
Speaker: I'm back. I'm and just like everyone talk i'm excited. what name of the What's the music? Oh, ladies and gentlemen, for you tonight, Mark went out and found a new song by Ronnie D. Hunt, and it is called Name on It.
Speaker: So here's Ronnie D. Hunt, Name on It.
Speaker: I get to drinking and I'm thinking of you. Whoever lost you, I know he was a fool. Her kind of love will follow me to the tune. They say this type of love hurts. I ain't afraid of the proof.
Speaker: 29 doing 100 on the back road. Cause sometimes I'm the same old asshole. I guess you know how.
Speaker: Oh, oh, oh, oh,
Speaker: town can see it now hair blowing wild with the windows down it's almost 7 30 she'll be ready to leave yeah she'll sing every single song like she wrote it spray my cologne cause i'll be there in the morning she's on her front porch and she's waiting for me yeah
Speaker: Oh, oh, oh, oh,
Speaker: ain't lonely, I'm a ride, you ain't never gotta stay lonely I'll pick you up in the drop of a dime You hit my line, I'll be over in five
Speaker: There's a comment from Steven. The horror community is looking for new horror icons. You're absolutely right. And then Alyssa says that I've been gone so long I forgot the name of the game. I know the name of the game. I'm pretty sure i created the game.
Speaker: Did I create the game? We created it. Oh, we created the game. said radio really well i think Technically, we stole it from another one of our friends. Okay, first of all,
Speaker: Shame on you. i never would steal anything. You gave us permission to borrow it. We just kept going with it. It's a fun game, guys. Ladies and gentlemen, we are back talking with Keelan.
Speaker: Keelan is the... So what do you what do you what do you what's your claim to fame? What do you call yourself? The director, the promoter, the producer? What do you call yourself? Yeah. I'll just say ah I'm a filmmaker and actor.
Speaker: Filmmaker and actor. Okay, well, there you go. Man with a thousand hats. The star of night, whenever we get that, hopefully soon. um And so you wrote this whole thing. you Did you write this by your yourself or was this something that you wrote with somebody else? like Did you guys kind of sit down and put your heads together and write it or was it just all you? do
Speaker: You had to get Mark credit. I had to get Mark credit for the game, so... yeah yeah it it was on me i've brainstormed some drafts with other people but like the the final version i went with is on me you listen to their input and then you were like yep and i'm not doing that sometimes you know so sometimes you have to tell people you just kind of want to do something different without being the internet it totally makes sense that's what brian does to me all the time
Speaker: at At least I tell you and I don't spring it on you. Like, hey, by the way, we're going to something different. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Talking Shit. We are now at the point of the show where we are going to ask Keelan if he's ever played a game called Florida or not Florida.
Speaker: here here's ah Here's a question for him first beforehand. Did I send you any of these? Keelan, did I send you any of these? ah No. All right.
Speaker: um When we're done with the show, send me your ah address and I'll send you some out. OK. Yeah, those those those details go hard. Just so you know. OK. Is this not as hard as this?
Speaker: all right. All right. this game is called Florida or not Florida. It's a lot of fun. Basically, all going to do is I'm just going to read a little thing. I'm not even posted up here so you can read it on your phone as well or on your computer.
Speaker: And you ever you ever heard of Florida man? you like You know what Florida man stuff is? Like, oh, that that shit sounds so crazy. It must be a Florida man. Yeah, I'm kind of familiar.
Speaker: So it's stories like that. um and and And sometimes they'll be from Florida and sometimes they might not be from Florida. They might be from Texas. So...
Speaker: If you're you know you're from Texas, so you you know the headlines that come out in Texas, and you can be like, wait a minute, I've heard that here. Or, no, I've never been to Florida, but that does sound like something y'all Florida people do down there. so So you guys are born and raised in Florida. Mark is just here in Florida. He's he's a transplant from Missouri.
Speaker: I've been here since I was 14 years old. I'm originally from Michigan. and um Yeah, Missouri. Yeah. Michigan. I just said it, Missouri.
Speaker: God. yeah i help I am born and raised in Florida, but I've traveled i've traveled the world, so I've seen a few things.
Speaker: Okay. I'm from Wisconsin. know a few things. From Wisconsin? We're cheeses? Yep. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'm sorry. My COO is from Wisconsin.
Speaker: and you want to know what's crazy they hate cheese like on their pizza on their burgers on their pizza it's like the right ingredient swear they go can we get like light cheese and i'm like huh like no that he'll come over and be like hey you guys want to get a pizza and i'm like yeah absolutely he's like all right light cheese pepperoni sausage i'm like like no just regular cheese pepperoni and sausage we get we get cheeseburgers he's like i will have a burger no cheese that's how i am but i don't get cheeseburgers well that's because you're lame too anyway all right let me pop this up here i'll read it and then um i want you to tell me all you got to say is florida or not florida now listen and we don't have anybody playing against you other than the people in the comments i don't know if you can see the comment section or not but mark will um mark will score it can you see that right there on the on the side
Speaker: It's very hard for you to see you're on the phone. or Yeah, super small. Yeah, yeah, for All right. So you don't need to see that. We're just going to tell you what the other people have said.
Speaker: we put it up on the screen for you. You get to go first because you are our guest. So here's what it's going to say. First thing up, woman tries to board a flight with 14 emotional support ducks.
Speaker: She claimed each duck handled a different emotion. Anxiety duck, sadness duck, anger duck, etc. TSA said no. The ducks escaped the terminal.
Speaker: Is that Florida or not Florida? Did that happen in Florida or did that happen somewhere else? Okay. And this actually happened? This 100% happened. This is a real... fuck All the headlines are real.
Speaker: Okay. It's a headline. it's It's ripped from the news headlines. I promise. Okay. I'm going to go with... I'm gonna go with Florida.
Speaker: Going with Florida? All right. Keelan says Florida. Alyssa says Florida. But real question is, were they all in a row?
Speaker: I hope she kept her ducks in a row. Amanda says not Florida. Who else we got playing? Steven, are you still with us? Are you hanging out me now?
Speaker: I love this. Cheese is life. Thank you, Alyssa. Cheese is life. sake mark i don't eat cheese on my hamburger what the hell is wrong with you oh okay cheeseburgers i just eat hamburgers that's right right so it looks like alissa amanda are the only two playing right now so what do we got here we he's watching crystal lake okay fine tell him to stay over there and mind his business i can tell him how it is all right
Speaker: Ladies and gentlemen gentlemen, that was in fact Florida.
Speaker: Florida, Mark. All right, guys, here's your next question or your next headline. This happened somewhere. Goat found wandering Walmart wearing a backpack.
Speaker: Employees found a goat calmly walking the aisles with a ball control backpack. Inside the backpack, two carrots, a rock, and a receipt. What the hell is happening to the world?
Speaker: Is this Florida or not Florida, Keelan? I'm going to go to not Florida. All right. We got a not Florida from Keelan.
Speaker: We've got not Florida from Amanda. Alyssa, what do you got on this one? Not Florida. Alyssa's saying not Florida as well. All right.
Speaker: And guys, you're absolutely all three correct. It is not Florida. It is Texas. You're welcome. Funny.
Speaker: That is funny. All right. These other ones are a little shorter. I don't know why, but here's here's your next one. Woman leads a lease on a 12-mile tractor trace while she's live streaming.
Speaker: Did this happen in Florida or not Florida? Woman leads a police police on a 12-mile tractor chase while she's live streaming. You know, it's crazy because I've seen a few ah police chases in person in Texas. So I don't. I'm going to go Florida.
Speaker: You sure you want to Florida on it? Don't let me influence you. I'm just asking you if you're sure you you just seem kind of like, I don't know. I kind of want to say Texas, but so i mean, I've seen it happen in Texas. That's that's why we play this game, because a lot of this shit happens in Florida, believe it or not.
Speaker: But we've seen it all over the place, too. You know, I watch a lot of. I watch a lot. What's that show with the. the Wild, wildest things caught on camera. I watch that shit all the time.
Speaker: It sounds like something happened in Ohio. Amanda says it's not Florida. And Alyssa says it's not Florida. do you want to stick with Florida or you want to go with girls? We'll go. Peer pressure is a bitch. Oh, he's going. nice Woman leads police on a 12-mile tractor chase while live streaming.
Speaker: Not Florida. It happened in Georgia, just the north of us here, as a matter of fact. All right. Was that where Bryce did?
Speaker: What's that? what Is that where Bryce, you know, he was in the vehicle. they thought It's 100% Bryce Tucker. I'd look that guy up, and then I'd be like, yep.
Speaker: All right, here Man brings a monkey to court as his legal witness. right That's why Brian wasn't here. Man brings a monkey to court. You shut your mouth when you're talking to me.
Speaker: What? Is that Florida or not Florida? Man brings a court ah monkey to court as his legal witness.
Speaker: First of all, what the frick does the monkey know? Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, well what is the sign language? Alyssa is going Florida and Amanda is going Florida. I'm a dude now Florida. You're going to go against the girls on this one?
Speaker: and Yeah. right. And the answer is yes, it is Florida. It is Florida. You were doing so well.
Speaker: I thought you were going to go five for five. I've never seen a monkey in the Florida setting. so listen and Listen, I'm going to tell you something have bought an island We've got an island right down the road from where we live. It's called Monkey Island. That's where they live. They have, what, three monkeys on this thing?
Speaker: Monkey Island. I swear to God. and And boats go past it. And if you stop your boat there, you'll get in trouble. Like, you'll get a ticket. You cannot stop your boat. You cannot stop your boat. You can't feed them. can't.
Speaker: You can take pictures, but you can't get your boat close to them. You can't swim near them. You can't do any of that stuff. They're mean as hell. Anyway, thank you very much, Mary-Kate. Here's my thought process on this, and this is why i know it was a Florida guy.
Speaker: um Somewhere along the lines, I promise you, he went to like Gap, Baby Gap, and he bought this monkey a suit. Because, I mean, who doesn't take the monkey to court in a freaking suit?
Speaker: if you tell If you take make it, he's going to throw his feces. And the judge is going to throw it all out. So I'm just i'm just giving you that. All right.
Speaker: That's my two cents. Here we go. Here's your last one. if you all are ready. It is Guy breaks into a gas station at 3 a.m. to microwave his frozen pants.
Speaker: I can't um say bernie did that one because breaks into a gas station at three in the morning. So my girl liar liar hands on fire.
Speaker: All right, here we go. We've got. Nothing yet. Nothing. Nobody. I'm going to go Florida. Keelan, you want to go Florida? So listen, it's it's a million and a half degrees here. Just want to give you an idea. yeah like it's was I don't know what the temperature is there. i don't know what the temperature there is right now, but I can tell you right now here, it's a million five.
Speaker: It's Florida. Like, it's the armpit. Just giving you, i mean, it don't get me wrong. It does get cold here, and it gets so cold that, like, us Floridians can't get out of bed.
Speaker: Floridians? Yeah, because Mark can get up and go do stuff, and he's like, it's not cold outside, and he's in a fucking tank top. And I'm like, the hell's wrong with you, bro? Yeah, it's super hot down here. It'll be 60 tomorrow, thankfully. Yeah.
Speaker: Well, it gets like in the morning and in five minutes. it's As soon as I'm on the road going to work, it's fucking 300 degrees. yeah Girls are saying not Florida.
Speaker: Not Florida. Not Florida. Did you want to go with Florida? I got to go not Florida, man. You want to go not Florida? I didn't think about that detail, so I'm to go with Florida.
Speaker: I did this one for Mark. This is Michigan. Michigan. Not Florida. yeah Probably one of them. Happened in Michigan. I hope it's not your brother. I'd call and check on him. Is he in Missouri?
Speaker: Mark, you're from Missouri, right?
Speaker: Got him. He's so mad. Look at him. He's so flustered. He can't even tell you the score. I can tell you the score. Alyssa Warren. How did Keelan do?
Speaker: He missed one. So he went four out of five, and Alyssa got five out of five? Yep, and Amanda got four out of five.
Speaker: Well, guys, congratulations for and thank you for playing the game, Florida or not Florida. We hope that you enjoyed it. For the winners, we've got some fancy decals.
Speaker: No, we don't. They got plenty. $100 bill? nu Out of your pocket. Whatever. won pay up right Alyssa, I'm so sorry. There is a water hose somewhere. Alyssa alissa lives in um Let's see if you remember. ah um The other M1.
Speaker: min yeah meant minnesota Minnesota. What's the temperature in Minnesota? I got to know that. Like, ah hey, she was telling. No. no Oh, yeah. Alyssa says it's 50. There you go. It's 50 degrees.
Speaker: No, she said 50 degrees, you guys freeze. Oh, 100 percent. Yeah, we hate. fucking No, I don't. I hate 50 degrees here anyway. I'm pretty sure in Minnesota is close to Wisconsin, think. What's the temperature there right now? all let to Let us know.
Speaker: Let us know what the temp is. She said I'm done. On the backside of things, let's let's get back to Knight. What do you want to talk about? What do you need for this project? Are you looking for anything in particular? are you looking for any help on it?
Speaker: Do you want somebody to reach out to you and and talk to you about it? uh i mean i'm just looking for horror fans for supporters if you guys like horror you know be sure to follow share we do have a gofundme up to raise funds it's in the link of my instagram but i'm just looking i'm just trying to put this in front of as many faces as possible that's good i'm trying to do okay And we'll try to do our best to help you.
Speaker: um It's 71 in Missouri. It's 40 degrees in Minnesota right now. Keelan, what's the temp there? What did you say, 80? It'll be 60 tomorrow. I think it's like 70-something right It was literally clogged down my room. It was like 80 degrees. uncleli He's hitting what we'll get on Sunday.
Speaker: Okay. Okay. okay
Speaker: okay um and and besides the the page do you have you don't have facebook you said so you don't have a facebook account set up for the movie he no not the movie but he does have a facebook account just nothing really on it you don't do anything on facebook no uh so i'm also an actor and facebook is a very good place to find roles and acting work So I found a decent amount of stuff on there, but that's like the only reason why have it. So but there's nothing posted, okay but I do have that account. Where do you go on Facebook to find movie roles?
Speaker: I'm in like multiple film groups. Like yeah you just look up different groups. Like there's one in Texas and stuff like that. And then...
Speaker: When you go on Facebook, you go on like your little you refresh and you're going to see a whole bunch of film stuff. have have you Have you landed any any roles with other people?
Speaker: Yeah. um ah I've gotten multiple roles that ah couldn't go to because they ended up being too far. There is a role that I actually, there was a film that I worked on, but not as an actor. It was actually a gaffer, which is basically like they do the lighting and they like the way lighting stuff ah looks and stuff. I actually,
Speaker: auditioned as the the main actor for the film. His name was Josh as well. My main character name is Josh in the movie. So I'm like, okay, this is cool. Let's do it. And um they found someone else, but he's like, I want you to be a part of it.
Speaker: So I showed him some some of my work and he wanted me to be a DP, which is cameraman pretty much. And after that, he decided to go with another DP and he gave me the gaffer role.
Speaker: But you still got to work the movie. What was the or the film? What's the film? It was a short film. It's called Eden O'Leary. It's ghost short film. Okay. Yeah, it was pretty good.
Speaker: Think of like a like Evil Dead type of situation. It's pretty good. And that filmed right there in Texas as well? Yes, we went to like this, we went like two hours away or like an hour plus away to this place called Pilot Point, Texas.
Speaker: And we filmed it in a super old house. The house was built in the eighteen hundreds And it was this man that lived here. He was super nice and he let us film in his house and it was super creepy. It was like the inside of a Cracker Barrel, you know, like the old photos and stuff.
Speaker: yeah and like Yeah. Old farm tools and stuff. It was, it was, it was creepy. It was perfect scenery. um dan That's cool. That's cool. So did did you learn, yeah I'm assuming that you learned something from being on the set of that film.
Speaker: Yeah. It, I had a lot of fun on that. That's good. And you have connections from that, right? Anybody like you talk to those guys and be like, hey, you know, I got this film. Yes. Yes. i actually got some connections for that Oh, good. oh and And that's how the community is I think the the horror community um as one typically all come together because everybody wants to see what everybody else is going to do.
Speaker: Yeah. And that's why i like it. I like it a lot. Just filmmaking. They love helping each other out. The big thing is, is ah is there a point where you can put out too much information about your film and then all of a sudden there's another film coming out that's going to be very similar to it?
Speaker: Uh... Well, you you have to license it. You have to copyright the the literature or literacy of it. So basically you copyright the script and then once the film comes out, you copyright the film. um But that's height that's the only way to really avoid it. I mean, anyone can kind of be like, oh, that's a good idea. Let me make it.
Speaker: aina Okay. But to be honest, there's a lot of films. There's over like 10,000 movies that's been made. So no matter what original idea you think you can come up with. there's Somebody's already done it. like Yeah.
Speaker: I mean, the goal is to do it better though. Right. Listen, I had an idea for one and then I started like doing some research and I was like, damn, that movie already. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker: i was like I was like, yeah, I'm gonna write a whole story about this. It's gonna be great. and then like I started doing some research and I was like, somebody really already wrote something like this. I was like, this is almost identical to what I wanted to do. i was like, this is crazy.
Speaker: Yeah. So, of course, I'm not a writer. I'm not a producer. i'm not a, you know, listen, I can barely use the camera the camera on the computer right if you're right here. mark Mark had to help me get into StreamYard earlier because I've been offline for so long.
Speaker: That it was like, yeah, you you need your your credentials and you got to do this. And then do you want to sign up? And do you want like, like what the shit, man? I'm already signed up. how are you going to make me sign up twice? Yeah.
Speaker: It's annoying. Shit's annoying sometimes. Anyway, um you want to give everybody your socials one more time so that they can follow you. Hopefully you can get some traction from being on the show once again. Hopefully the show does help.
Speaker: and get your name out there, Keelan, because we want people to see the stuff that you're going to do. um if you're If you're already head and shoulders above everybody else doing that, and you're thinking, like, I don't want to make one movie. i want to make three, four, five.
Speaker: you know i want to be a franchise. Then that's really good, because most people, I don't think, think that far ahead. you know is It's definitely going to be a franchise, but I'm kind of scared of this. you know like When they make too many movies, they get bad, right? So don't make too many.
Speaker: I'm thinking to do one, two, three three, and then after three, make like a a series. Okay. I think that'd be better than like 10 movies.
Speaker: Right. And remakes are sometimes good or sometimes really bad. So that's the other thing. What's a good remake that you guys have? A good remake?
Speaker: The new Ghostbusters, not not the chick one. We were just out a new out of the other. You know, I'm talking about like it's not it's not a it's not a remake, but it's it is a reboot like a recall.
Speaker: It's a reboot. You know, um it stems from Spangler, the Spangler family. So I think it's fantastic. I like that better than the one that um that they did with all the girls.
Speaker: You know which one I'm talking about? one yeah had one seeing one Yeah, the one that they had with the women. um That one wasn't bad, but I think that they didn't give it enough out of or get enough out of it. um Amanda says the Blob 80s remake.
Speaker: Oh, yeah. That's a good one. I love Blob. um What's another good remake? The Fly. Have you guys seen that? No, I'm an original Fly. I like the original.
Speaker: The 1950s? Oh, it's a 50s film? I'm talking about that yeah like the 80s. Yeah, the 80s one is a remake. A remake of the 50s? Yeah. i was like ah yeah I didn't like The Fly 2, though.
Speaker: I wasn't a fan of it. It's a little weird. I have a question, man. What do you guys think about, since we're on this movie topic and and s sequels and stuff like that, Back to the Future, what are you guys thinking about the upcoming...
Speaker: new back to the future they're not doing it they are going to do it no they're not you don't think so we're just talking about the flying deloreans they're not doing it the guy that wrote it and produced it and all that said no oh he still owns the rights to it oh fine well we'll have to do something else then would you guys ever would you ever set the one a remake of that a remake i don't know about a remake but i think if you do it right i think that you can kind of carry on the legacy story yeah like you know what i mean kind of like how they did the ghostbusters i think that's more like a legacy storyline um whereas if you try to if you try to take michael j have somebody play michael j fox's role and and try to go back to the 50s and stuff like that i don't think it's gonna be the same i've seen a lot of people say tom holland
Speaker: take that. That's what I see a lot of AI doing that stuff and they use Tom Holland in it and stuff and quite honestly that is one trilogy that does not need it does not need to go on anymore.
Speaker: But it could. It's a time travel movie. It could but no. Leave it alone. Yeah. Alright. Is there anything else that you boys want to talk about before I get off here?
Speaker: You know I'm old, Keelan, so I've got to go to bed. am i go to yeah um I'm to continue to bike branch out and try to show people what I'm doing. This is actually an animatronic prop that I made.
Speaker: It's being currently worked on. It has skin on it, but it moves and stuff. Is it going to be like a... Obviously, is it going to be one your...
Speaker: kills one of your kills in the movie yeah yeah it's gonna be uh like the the pivotal death of the film this is the death that meant that turns all the events uh so all the events that happen after this is because of of this um but yeah yeah that's it All right. ladies Ladies and gentlemen, make sure you're following Knight.
Speaker: um yeah You guys want to follow me Knight Official Movie on all platforms. united them to town You said you got a TikTok that you want people to follow, too. is it and is it under Knight or is it under your name?
Speaker: It's under Knight. It's Knight. Knight Official Movie for everything. Not Facebook. Not Facebook. Facebook's over. So guys, if you're watching us on Facebook, it's going to set on fire.

Speaker: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Like the end of? Like around this time frame? It'll be around this time frame. Probably Halloween. I've seen a lot of people like suggesting a hall Halloween release.
Speaker: it's It's a lot to... Because you're going to lot of challenges because there's going to so many... films trying to get into theaters around that same time frame, I think. I'll try to i' try to like time it.
Speaker: Perfect. So it's not going against like a blockbuster. Oh, yeah. sure figure out Which one's going in in October because they give you it in time length anyways when they'll be released. and you know ah what Next year,
Speaker: I don't think we'll see anything big until 2028 when we get two Nightmare on Elm Street. We get Michael back and maybe by then we might actually have a Friday the 13th.
Speaker: That's a film I really want to I would love to do that. in a Basically my favorite slash. So I understand that to do anything.
Speaker: Jason-related. I'm going to watch the new Chris Lake show tonight. It's going to be fun. Great series. I watched it today. You watched all of that? Yeah. Oh, he's a bitch, dude.
Speaker: I've seen that they're making Jason talk. I'm very excited about that. i saw a clip. He's a little boy, and he's got a fucked-up head. That's what he looks like. Just saying.
Speaker: It's really, really good.
