Speaker: I am surprised that you were surprised when I said your hair looks nice. I don't know how you can tell because it just looks dark to me in the picture.

Speaker: I was like, did you like not do it today? or like i mean I didn't do anything different to it than I usually do. Yeah, I mean, i don't it's it's not like it's in a particular style that I thought was new or anything.

Speaker: It's just... a Nice and curly. Thanks. But it's really, it's the hair shirt combo. Really? That, like, so I think that your hair might not have stood out to me if you weren't also wearing a nice shirt. Oh.

Speaker: So, I don't know. Thanks. But just all together, you look very nice. I appreciate that. it' just It's funny to me because this shirt to me is very old lady-ish. and like i mean...

Speaker: It's like, again, i am viewing you over a camera, so it could look different in person. Right. But it doesn't look too old lady-ish to me.

Speaker: not It's like, I don't know. It's not young, but it's not old in my view. There's like a little bit of a ruffle at all ah around on the the neck. hole shoulders Oh, around the neck. Yeah, the the shoulders don't actually have any ruffles.

Speaker: Okay. But um also this part is supposed to button together. in like there's just one, one little button at the very top. Mm hmm.

Speaker: But my like left thumb doesn't work very well. So it was super hard for me to try. Like I was trying to get it to button and I couldn't. yeah Because the whole thing on this side is literally just a tiny piece of elastic like cord. oh yeah. It's like a little loop. Yeah. That sticks out. Yeah. And I couldn't and get it to like get big enough. and then I couldn't get my thumb to hold this stupid button well enough for me to push it through there so i just said eh forget it left it unbuttoned well i like it thanks yeah i'm gonna send you pictures so that you can see that you just took yeah ah yeah i wouldn't necessarily call this an old lady shirt frankly in a pinch i would wear it okay if i needed to

Speaker: And like i I mentioned, I wore it with white jeans, so it looked maybe a little bit more slightly updated than if I was to wear it with like dark blue jeans or something.

Speaker: Yeah, either way. I mean, like that's more of like a ah seasonal thing, I would say. Yeah. Yeah. Like dark blue jeans would be like ah it'd be more of ah an autumn look. Right. um Because it is like a nice nature-y green with flowers. Yeah.

Speaker: um and it is ribbing too for the white jeans it's very that does bring it into the summertime i guess it's a versatile shirt that's a good shirt honestly thank you you don't know if you can tell you should wear it more like one one of the pictures i sent you you might be able to tell that it's actually got ribbing like a slate yeah there's some pleating sewn in right up here but the rest is like a little bit ribbed yeah and uh I don't know. Maybe that's the part that I thought was like old lady-ish, but sure I don't know.

Speaker: Anyway, it's just got some florally kind of stuff going on with it. So there's a lot of different colors, which is kind of fun because you can actually pair this with any colored pant or skirt you want to. Oh, for sure.

Speaker: For sure. But it's good. um Here at the so SoulPod, the podcast, ah we love fashion. Yeah. And we say that as two, you know, approximately middle-aged ladies who frequently record in t-shirt and no pants. yeah Or like two pop and no pants. or Pop no pants. Or bra and no shirt.

Speaker: depending on how hot it is. Most of the time for me, it's shirt and no bra. Yeah, shirt and no bra or bra and no shirt. You know, ye sometimes sometimes we have been known to go no shirt, no bra. ah Not on here. and Oh, yeah. No shirt, no bra.

Speaker: What? The number of times you've flashed me, lady. Oh, my goodness. But I don't just, like, sit here like, nope no shirt, no bra. don't just sit there. did.

Speaker: But, yeah. No, we do believe it or not, against all evidence, that We do like fashion over here. Fashion. Turn to the left. Fashion. I was looking at shirts um on this website that I really like for clothing and I've never ordered from because it is so expensive. um Well, I say so expensive, but like it's really, you know, it's just more expensive than most places i've wanted to shop from um it's called lala and i think i've probably sent you a link to it at some point or another uh but it is a sort of ah little bit edgy but like can most of it can pass for like office appropriate attire you know heavily heavily depends on

Speaker: like how relaxed your office truly like really is you know many offices will say business casual but then get upset if you have like like a design on your shirt yeah um but like you know in my anywhere i have worked i feel like there's a lot from this particular brand that i could get away with wearing into any of the offices i've ever worked at And I have lately, i was looking at investing in potentially three shirts.

Speaker: yeah and And just because they were all like, they're all, you know, they do have plus sizing, which is pretty dope. But they also, you know, have a lot of their styles are very like loose fit, like oversized. Yeah.

Speaker: um where like you know their medium oversized shirt could potentially fit on me if i was going for like a regular completely normal not oversized look but i do like the oversized shirt look um i was looking at there was one that was like a black and red plaid not a buffalo check um Specifically, but like a plaid pattern that was black and red. Okay.

Speaker: Which I really liked. And there was like a really nice black. I'm not going to say lace because it looks like it's more just like a mesh with a lot of like.

Speaker: cool patterns embroidered into it we So like it's lace-esque but it's not like it doesn't look like delicate and small. Right. um But also like and these all three are like long sleeve and button up but like oversized.

Speaker: So there was that and then the third one is surprisingly the one i might actually be the most interested or most excited about which by the way i've not placed this order i'm just thinking about it right now but the third one is like a um it's a design of like a black background with red strawberries and green leaves and not like a cartoonish kind of pattern but like realistic looking and uh it's just very elegant. Sweet.

Speaker: And yeah, so I really, really liked that. And then there was another one, which I can't remember. It was like a, it was actually a full set. There was a shirt that was like that oversized long sleeve button up, but also like a matching pant in the same pattern. And I,

Speaker: I can't in my brain. i like had it and I can't remember exactly what it looks like now, but it was like red was like the primary color. And so I like really dug it, but it it being a full set, it was way more.

Speaker: than just the single shirts. And so I was like maybe maybe I start with the shirts, and then later on, I'll consider investing in a full set like that. but um But I am a big fan, regardless. And maybe if I can finagle it, I'll ah i'll order them.

Speaker: Because they'd be like, it's just you know three shirts is Substantial for a wardrobe, especially like a work wardrobe when you don't have to be in the office every single day. Yeah. um Like you can really let it look like I mean, obviously, it's it's not like I'm overly concerned about rewearing stuff. But sometimes I do worry that it looks like I wear the exact same thing every single day. hmm.

Speaker: Because it's what I put on or what's easiest for me to like just throw on when I'm going into the office, but otherwise I'm not wearing it. Right. But like if I'm cycling between three, three different shirts um on a, you know, hybrid work schedule, it's a little easier for me to not look like I just like wear the same thing every single fucking day. Yeah. So anyway.

Speaker: Makes sense. Yeah. yeah and i also i think i showed you i sent you a screenshot but i did get some like cool wide leg leopard print pants oh yeah that's right i'm excited about those because like i like leggings but i do want some variety in there so definitely stoked about those yay but yeah um for anybody who's interested in checking out the lala clothing line the website is dressed in lala.com so yeah anywho cool no sponsored and not promoting necessarily for any reason other than it's just a cool fucking website it's a cool uh fashion line

Speaker: So, yeah. Anywho. What the fuck? 40 minutes in. i know! We, like, didn't have, like, a topic topic, but we wanted to talk about spell work again. Yeah. As we did, like, a couple, like, a month or two ago. And, you know, it's easy peasy, relaxed, chill, like... nothing too crazy serious but just wanted to talk about some so some spell work some uh one might say manifestation depending on what it is that you're doing what you're working had the thought for myself and we last time we did this we did two separate um spell work intentions and

Speaker: i think it'd be cool to keep that up So you don't have to do the same thing I'm doing. yeah But I had the thought of like doing like a confidence spell.

Speaker: Particularly confidence in terms of manifesting what you want. What's worked for me really well or like in terms of a confidence spell and a confidence, any confidence work in general has been in the context of looking for a new job.

Speaker: um or a raise or something in you know that regard yeah because it's like way too easy to like resign yourself to feeling like you don't need more or anything better or or you can just sort of be like i don't know not necessarily specifically thinking oh i don't deserve it but also like not not thinking Okay, so you mean don't need anything better in terms of like needing a new job or need confidence? Yeah, like here it's like, you know, if you're in a place where you already have a job and it's like, okay, you're providing for yourself already. So like, you know, it's not that you are in dire need.

Speaker: You know, it's more like a this would be better. It'd be good to find like something that, you know, benefits me more in what one way or another.

Speaker: um like i mean that kind of need specifically ah but like it's not always about like needing you know the universe isn't trying to only give you the things that you desperately need mm-hmm to like continue existing in this capitalist hellscape that we are living in. um You know, it's, it's not always about need, you know, like you can need and want are, there's heavy overlap and we can talk ourselves out of believing that we need awful lot.

Speaker: Right. Right. Like there is so much that we are capable as humans of talking ourselves out of, um you know, and, and ultimately i think that's maybe a little bit of the intersection of confidence that I'm looking for when I want to build this spell is like the confidence, not only of like, I can totally do this and I can totally get this, yeah but like the confidence of like,

Speaker: yeah, this is what I need. You know, it's like, just because I've been surviving without it doesn't mean I have to forever. right Kind of thing. um So I don't know, that's ah that's what I had in mind. And did you have any thoughts or on anything, like any kind of spell work you would want to try to build?

Speaker: I have not. I don't know. i haven't I haven't thought about spell work for a long time, to be honest. um I have. And that's part of the reason that I wanted to, you know, have this be a recurring thing. Yeah. get us to think about it more.

Speaker: i know that I thought about burning incense recently and I haven't done it, but the urge is there. yeah That's the thing that I think I like to do a lot. That's like sort of,

Speaker: almost bookending a particular specific spell, you know, burning incense and also just like the environment creation um of manifest manifesting a particular effect. Yeah. um But like burning incense, what I have used that I believe works really fucking well is cranberry incense. Ooh.

Speaker: Yeah. So I am going to write it down. Cranberry incense. And this, like like I was saying, I would want to burn incense during the spell work, but also like throughout the day before, for a couple days after, also just sort of generally like as I do my mundane things that are working toward a particular goal like i remember back in 2020 when i was first doing a spell to this effect of particularly of like you know trying to manifest a new job um

Speaker: i anytime had like done the spell, i had the spell jar, but also anytime after that, that I was working on applying to jobs or drafting emails, you know, about setting up interviews or what have you. um i was burning incense, like cranberry incense deliberately.

Speaker: was like, okay, I'm going to sit down and work on some job applications. So let me light up a stick. Mm hmm. Yeah. Right now. And it would last. It's like, you know, those incense sticks can be like a 20 minute to 30 minute kind of lasting time. And that's like perfect for when you're just sitting down to Yes. bro Throw out a couple of applications. Indeedy.

Speaker: Yeah. Because isn't that about the same amount of time as a chime candle? Like 20 minutes or 30 minutes? I've had chime candles last more than an hour. OK. Yeah.

Speaker: um I think it really depends. Sometimes they burn really fast. I think it's really a little bit of a crapshoot. crapshoot with regards to chime candles yeah i've had them burn quick i've had them burn really slow um i've had them burn all the way down and then spend an extra like half hour with like practically no wax left and you think at any moment now it's gonna burn out and then it just keeps staying lit somehow happening so it's just it is all over the place with chime candles but like easy

Speaker: Yeah, but to that end though, like the next thought I had for um

Speaker: candles, like color magic in particular, there's like an infographic that I always come back to that I like to have in front of me.

Speaker: There's like a couple of of different ones. So like a lot of people would think, oh, you know, you want green because If you're looking for a new job, usually it's in the vein of like looking for more money. yeah um And that's a good one for sure. When I did my looking for a new job spell years ago, I used a Jägermeister bottle, o which is bright green. yeah And I probably did a green candle as well.

Speaker: But... The first thing that came to mind as I was thinking about this in particular was orange or yellow. Because i'm I'm not necessarily... like This is confidence that is not specific to job searching okay or manifesting money. This is confidence just to achieve whatever it is that you're trying to achieve.

Speaker: To like feel better about yourself and feel more... again i don't like just saying i need to feel more deserving because like it's bigger than that in my mind yeah so like it's confidence of like the way that people say or when you manifest stuff you have to feel like you already have it it's like that level of confidence like you know it's it's uh behaving in a way

Speaker: that as though your reality already is what you want it to be. Right. um Yeah. You know, it's funny. I don't know if I mentioned this to you or not, but like when I was applying for that job that I interviewed for on Monday, yeah every single time I was talking to somebody about the job, I was referring to it and talking about it. Like it was already my job and I wasn't even thinking about it. Right.

Speaker: So then yeah when I got to the interview and i was going through the process of walking around the school and looking at, you know, looking at stuff and answering whatever questions that she had for me and then me, you know, bringing up questions I had for her and stuff. She basically like turned to me and was like, so yeah, the job's yours if you want it. And I was just like, okay. Yeah.

Speaker: I was like, yes, please. And this is where we announced that you got it. I did get a job. Yes. It's yeah it's not starting just yet, but it's, ah it's, ah it's mine. it's your And it just was so weird how every time I was talking about it to people, I was just like, yeah, and I'll be doing this and I'll be doing that. And I'm like, you know, blah. And just like, it was like already my job.

Speaker: And I wasn't even thinking about it. Like it just was, that's just how it was coming out when I talked about it. Yeah, yeah, I totally, totally feel that. And I love that.

Speaker: Yeah. And it's good. That's exactly how you should have done it. And I think that probably helped it happen. um Yeah. um But yeah, like thinking about the candle colors and like, I guess this this could be like colors of whatever element you are you know using for whatever um spell work.

Speaker: you're working with yeah candles in particular the yellow um is one that is it's so there's a lot of meanings there's a lot of meanings for every color but like you know there's a little bit of a range but like what i would choose in this particular intention is joy and hope um um And with orange, that one is it like, again, referencing off this little thing that I have that I keep ah business success opportunities and celebrations and ambition. Like that's really good, especially in like a job context, but like really fucking any project that you're working on. Yeah. um

Speaker: And then gold was the other one that I just note down noted down here, particularly wealth, luck and happiness. so I know and you were talking about yellow or orange and I thought yeah citrine is you know the stone of abundance and stuff like that. Oh my god yeah. That's like yellow. so fucking lutely I love citrine.

Speaker: Yeah like any green stone too well but like yellow and orange stones like I'm gonna look up real quick because I have this big I don't even where it is. It's somewhere. Oh, it's over on the shelf behind the couch.

Speaker: Fire courts. o Yes. i want look real quick because I feel like that is a big, big help in this regard. in this regard yeah intuitively it feels like it would be. yes Yeah. um <unk>s see.

Speaker: don't want AI. I just want this. it is an amplification agent so it amplifies your intentions um removes negativity and transmutes to positivity uh and that absolutely i think fits with like the needing to garner a higher level of confidence in yourself yeah um as well as i mean like and it with the amplification aspect like it really could be used for like whatever you might need um

Speaker: but oh motherfucker uh i'm on the stone sanctuary.com and under metaphysical properties for fire courts it does say um Amplification, balance, clarity, concentration, focus, grounding, self-confidence. Hello.

Speaker: Self-esteem, self-worth, stabilizing, and transformation. Yes. so And I honestly, I'm going to pull that transformation and and reinsert it into the like confidence intention as well. Because when you are trying to embody an emotion that you feel like you don't experience enough of like the need for confidence um what you are doing is effectively transforming yourself you know and that's a that is a part of changing your reality right is is like transforming yourself into a person who has high level of self-confidence um just on a day-to-day like standard like

Speaker: fuck yeah you know um this is good i'm writing this down i'm writing citrine down because absolutely but i'm writing fire quartz down have you ever done a crystal grid i have not um i think they're cool i have purchased one that was glued into a particular pattern oh like but in like a frame oh I've kept that at my desk, actually, at my at my office. um

Speaker: But that one what had the intention of like calming anxiety and like chaos and stuff, so which is needed. was going to say, with that, you said you have a fire quartz.

Speaker: Yes. um Is it a point or a tower? It's a it's like an oval. like a rounded oval, but the bottom is cut off to be flat so it stands up. Okay. um so jet And it's big. It's like the size of my palm. It may not have a perfect point at the top, but it is somewhat pointy, rounded ramed point Rounded, yeah. You could totally take your dream job or the job you're trying to get, write it down on a piece of paper, set it down, and stick that

Speaker: that quartz on top of it um because that directs energy and then like you could use if you have like m even stumbled stumbled stumbled hello tumbled stones yeah but pointed ones are better because they direct energy like arrange them around the outside to like either bring in the abundance Or like if you had like regular quartz points to just point point them outward to like send out the energy of the confidence or that kind of thing.

Speaker: Or bring it in either way, whichever way you would want to direct the energy. Because you could write your name and set that thing, your tower on top of your name. and then all the points pointing inward around it on the, you know, to bring the energy in towards you.

Speaker: yeah i don't have i don't have a lot of pointed crystals yeah i mean i guess i i have a few but they're not like uh they're not ones i would immediately think of for like manifestation of new opportunities or manifestation even of just being confident but i would need to do some research i do have one i have a couple up here one of them is the tiger's eye point um And then the other one is a quartz that has a bunch of black inclusions. And I can't remember what the black inclusions are. Probably tourmaline.

Speaker: Maybe. they're like so They're like stems. They're like... Little sticks. Little sticks, yeah. But I did think of one of the crystals that I have. It's not a point, but it is a mini wand of peach selenite. Ooh.

Speaker: And i just looked up peach selenite and one of the keywords is transformation sweet um so i'm going to put that down here too and yeah i'm noting down the meanings of the the crystals so i don't necessarily have to look them up later but uh manifesting abundance for citrine um fire quartz self-confidence

Speaker: and peach selenite transformation yeah arm i do love my peach selenite it's so pretty um and then i mean it certainly doesn't hurt to have a green one and i've got that giant chunk of jade that i bought with me that's that represents money in abundance too oh i know I am looking up some more specifics though.

Speaker: ooh it's very dreamy though. And like spiritual. But it does have good luck associated with it. Professional support.

Speaker: Nice. That's a good one. Yes, it is. Hell yeah. Jade. Professional support. And what was the other?

Speaker: Good luck. Hell yeah. Bonk in my microphone. and for herbs, I'm feeling like basil for sure. But again, like basil, any green leafy greens are going to have that money association.

Speaker: Basil feels good. Maybe oregano feels good too. I was going to say cinnamon. Cinnamon definitely.

Speaker: Because it's like the abundance and prosperity Yeah. you know huh yeah And, you know, interestingly, i was also thinking about a simmer pot earlier today and thinking of like if I were to just try to throw together a basic simmer pot just to just to do one, because like I feel like I always overcomplicate them in my mind and they don't need to. um i would choose like whole cranberries, slices of orange and cinnamon.

Speaker: And I feel like there's an aspect or there's like a there's ah a piece of this spell work of like doing a simmer pot and then using once things once it's all simmered down and you've like let it boil and go for like several hours. Yeah. ah Like.

Speaker: Sort of Mush in the contents that are left into a spell jar. Mm hmm. And I feel cinnamon definitely.

Speaker: Orange slices. And cranberries. And maybe anise. Oh. I'm going to look that up.

Speaker: ah It attracts good fortune. Alright. I'm writing that one down. Your intuition is rocking. Fuck yeah.

Speaker: Star anise. And then simmer pot in parentheses next to that. um Yeah, I think that I want to do.

Speaker: I definitely want to do that. And like a whole stick of cinnamon too. um But yeah, like i think that boiling all of that down into a jar would be perfect i think that's it that's for that's it for me that's myself i think that works yeah and then there's always like mute music oh my god yeah i do i have a playlist actually that's called feeling myself ha there's a lot of queen herbie on there i love that she's so cool yeah

Speaker: But like, ooh, there's, okay. If I were to assign like three songs to this work, one, okay, I keep bonking my mic with my pen.

Speaker: Excuse me. um First one, and I'm just looking at this playlist that I have here. My Season, which really is just spelled S-Z-N by Queen Herbie.

Speaker: As my pen is trying to die. Don't die. Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter. That's a little bit more of like a manifesting love.

Speaker: Could be self-love too. self-love for sure but also like manifesting people treating you right really is maybe the better way to interpret it and then mirror by sigrid um she is not as well known but she is amazing She's a Norwegian pop artist.

Speaker: All of her music that I've heard is in English, so. But she is from Norway. But yeah, Mira is like a really good self-confidence song.

Speaker: so Sweet. good I like it. like it. And there's so many others, but like those would be my like top three for for this particular working.

Speaker: But yeah. Did you have any thoughts pop into your head for your own spell work? Nope. Like I want you to, I want this to be more of a mental exercise than like a passive just listen thing for you. Okay.

Speaker: um Like, cause you're not going to think about spell work if you don't make yourself think about spell work. Yeah. Yeah. i i just so I just don't know because I've never really done spell work. I i was just sitting here thinking about crystal grids.

Speaker: Um, which I feel like have a lot of energy and power behind them. They do. Here's the thing. Here's what I want to say about what you just said.

Speaker: Because you say you you don't really, you've never really thought about spell work. And so like, you don't know. it's like, a little bit makes me think of what I was just talking about with the whole like,

Speaker: it's so easy to like resign ourselves to like feeling like we don't need a particular thing just because we've gone without it for so long. And so like, that's why I say like, like I want you to deliberately think about it because like, you're not going to do it if you don't. Right.

Speaker: And you always say that you want to do more. I do. Always, always, always. Here I am kicking your ass into trying to think about it. So like here, if you want me to help you, i can very easily, because you know, it's like, if you don't, you can't think of anything because it could be anything.

Speaker: Here is an idea is fucking like replenishing your physical and mental well-being now that you are technically retired. Yeah. like i was gonna say protection work i is another good one it's essential yeah and that i honestly can go that can take the shape of well-being yeah i'm thinking of obviously i love crystals and i have a shit ton of crystals so like yeah black tourmaline is a protection crystal

Speaker: um all the black ones mostly and I just like can't think of all the black ones right now. um Onyx.

Speaker: Yes. Which I guess could be in multiple colors but black is a big one. Black tourmaline is yeah there's that one there's Obsidian. Quartz.

Speaker: Obsidian is the other one. Yeah. Smokey Quartz. Yes. Quartz. Those are like the big ones. The big defenders. ah But yeah, i again, like when trying to brainstorm like from scratch about spells, like start with like colors too.

Speaker: Cause like, yes, you had black obviously for protection. um you want to have any sort of focus on like wellbeing and, and like reestablishing like your own physical mental health? Yeah.

Speaker: yeah okay good that's a good one ah yes because another color that should be factored in then is pink okay um obviously that's it's love particularly self-love um and it's like the emotion side of love rather than the physical side of love because that's more red yeah um I have a giant nurturing specifically for pink and a rose quartz.

Speaker: I have a fat rose quartz sphere sphere. Yeah, I have a big fat rose quartz sphere. which is a lovely oh y'all love it so much y'all i love that there's also because i'm also trying to think of like other pink stones and um oddly enough like when you go for the cheapy um birthstone jewelry um the october one is a pink tourmaline

Speaker: So there is pink tourmaline. and yeah But if you're going for like the expensive semi-precious stones, it's opal for October. oh But pink tourmaline is like it's a substitute for opal.

Speaker: um For thinking of pink stones in general, though, I also thought of strawberry quartz. And then I have this stone here, which is little of an earthy

Speaker: shade but it is pink yeah you i trying to remember what it is that looks to me like sunstone it's not sunstone um because there's like different colors of sunstone too but it could be a rhodonite or rhodochrosite which it's not it's uh it's one that like it's one that i know the name of and i just it always eludes me it's gonna drive me crazy i know i'm like looking up stuff now too yeah I think maybe it's more traditionally orange. So we look up orange. There's pink opal and there's morganite.

Speaker: Morgonite, which is a peachy pink burl for variety. um but yeah, rhodonite and rhodochrosite are both. They have pinks in them Sometimes they're pink and black.

Speaker: Man, they've got this pink agate, which is like, it's got to be dyed. i'm sure it's dyed, but it's bright pink. It's so there's different variations of pinks and it's so pretty.

Speaker: You know what? Maybe i am wrong. This could be Sunstone because I just found another like a picture of a Sunstone that looks identical to it. Could be Sunstone. It kind of, it kind of looked like that to me, but I i haven't, I think it could be.

Speaker: Like I used to know all my crystals like so well and have them all memorized. And then like now it's like meh. I don't remember shit anymore, but like pink calcite is also a possibility.

Speaker: yeah Pink amethyst. Yeah. I mean, it's not amethyst. I do think it is a sunstone the more that I look at it. um But I just what is the other? There is another.

Speaker: Crystal name that I am blanking on. There's pink moonstone. That's a good one. Mm hmm. oh god i feel like the longer i look for it the harder it's gonna find kels pink calcite is is all i think is also a close contender for what you have it's carnelian is what i was trying to think of oh carnelian's way more orangey red i know that's why i thought like let me look up orange stones because i feel like that's more what it's traditionally found as. But like, yeah, I, uh, carnelian's the word. that That's the one that I always can't remember. Um, but in this little graph that I'm looking at right now, there's a sunstone and an orange carnelian directly next to each other. This little egg shaped one that I have is definitely a sunstone.

Speaker: Yeah. But it is so pinkish. you know I'm putting it in like daylight right now and there's such a pink ah hue to it that I would say i it would qualify as a pink stone in my book yeah at least this one not probably not all of them yeah but that one so make sure to write these down okay by the way okay lady um the sunstone rose quartz strawberry quartz

Speaker: um strawberry quartz in particular is very much like a recovery type of stone like a like a healing stone yeah um i remember giving it to somebody who had had a surgery recently and like you know i'd think i intuitively gave it to them and then looked it up later and was like ah perfect um sunstone rose quartz pink tourmaline and strawberry quartz rabbiry chorz and you know that pink amethyst i think is another one that would be good to put down oh yeah ever get your hands on some um but yes and honestly my fire quartz

Speaker: is it has like pinkish to it as well oh my god dude have you ever seen a fire opal i have seen a fire those are freaking amazing fire opal i want one too eventually so badly um and fire quartz and fire opal i know i know the that it's more on the reddish side i think yeah pink but but it is it's like it's got such like this pretty flashy vibe to it that just sort of it's it's a mood booster no matter what you're trying to do um but don't forget also to put down the black stones did the dark okay good um and then the other thing that's like another one of those like workhorses of a crystal is fucking selenite yeah just plain old selenite and you said you have a pink

Speaker: I have a peach selenite that's like a mini wand and i have white selenite tower. Okay. I love me a selenite tower. They are so cool.

Speaker: um They glow. They're so pretty. Yes, they are they are. But it's just like the same as like ah like a tourmaline obsidian um in terms of like being a workhorse for protection.

Speaker: um Selenite is just like a workhorse purification. And it's the kind that doesn't need to be like regularly cleansed. and like Selenite is a cleanser, so it doesn't need to be cleansed.

Speaker: So it just sucks up all the nasty. Yeah. Oh my gosh. It's just like a set it and forget it situation. um God. ah Yeah. i Like I said. Why are you growling? I'm thinking out loud. Like I have this black. um Oh my God. It's on the tip of my tongue and I cannot...

Speaker: think of i gave you a piece of this before but it's also a cleanser and um a neutralizer of like bad energy and all that it's like um i cannot remember the name of it and i'm looking right at the fucker it was it's black but i think there's different colors of it is it um kyanite yes kyanite yep that's it that is it yes um I was like I was picturing it yeah and I was like I know what this is black kyanite yep yes black kyanite yes and I've just looked up I looked up crystal that looks like shards and like I got everything except kyanite but like there's this one what is it that they're showing here gosh I don't know what that is

Speaker: crystal shards okay so they are yeah it's kyanite they're blue blue kyanite and blue green and green kyanite are like i guess blue green kyanite is really rare um but there's a lot of blue and there's a lot of green and the black kyanite is the one that if you like lay any of your other crystals on it it clears them like completely fuck yeah um yeah and I remember you talking about that. Do you remember that?

Speaker: ah Oh, God. I just wish that i my fucking brain would remember things for me. Did you write down Kyanite? I will write now.

Speaker: Good. um I have that thing that's like a wand, but it's, oh, it's a Vogel, they call them. Okay. It's not quite a wand, but it's super pointy at each end. Like, Well, one end is less less pointy, but like... Rounded? real Like, not rounded.

Speaker: It has a point, but it's like an angular, more flat looking point. The other end is more pointy, like real pointy. Like weapon pointy. Yeah.

Speaker: Kyanite. I'm trying to figure out how to spell that. Okay. why i Got it. Yeah. Okay. Um... So the Vogel, which right now I can't remember what material mine is made out of, but it might be.

Speaker: um What is my favorite? One of my favorites. he So many of them. The piece you gave me when I was there that was pink, had a lot of pink flash in it.

Speaker: laboratory Yes, I think it's a Labradorite Vogel. Anyhow, you use it to scoop energy out of your body. Like, you know, like you pretend like you're going to be like gouging it into yourself, but you're not actually touching yourself. So you're scooping into your energy field and scooping away with the pointy part.

Speaker: yeah And you can supposedly clear like pain and stuff out of areas of your body with it. But as soon as you scoop, you're supposed to touch it to wood. Because wood like neutralizes like the energy and grinds it or takes it away and neutralizes it. Just like they say when you touch a tree, it's supposed to like neutralize all like the negativity and shit. um Or touch it to kyanite.

Speaker: which clears it out too. Yeah. So I remember that. That was one of the cool things I learned once upon a time. Hell yeah. Yeah, love Kyanite because it just looks fucking mean. it It reminds me of the Game of Thrones throne.

Speaker: Oh yeah. you know Totally. Yeah. I love that. um And I agree. It does look like that. I was also thinking of incenses.

Speaker: for you to try to use and rose came to mind and that could be like you could literally like grind up rose hips and burn that like a little like an offering in a um fire safe bowl like a cauldron or you could also just get like rose stick incense yep um i have lots of that I think patchouli would be a good option too. Rose and patchouli together are a power couple in my opinion.

Speaker: But patchouli like it's definitely okay before I look it up I'm just gonna like think through this here. Patchouli I know it's like highly spiritual because of course like that's what you think of when you think of like hippies it's peace and love but there is some like self-love aspect to it too um I also particularly remember um when the witch bitch amateur hour talked about patchouli they categorized it as being a little horny which I love that term for various herbs and such plants and things um like rose i think fell into that category too um but uh patchouli was like a big one it was a big time like if you're just trying to get some like dab some like patchouli uh like perfume or

Speaker: you know, body oil or something. The big joke about patchouli when I was younger was that people just used it to hide the smell of weed. oh I've heard that too. I have heard that too. um Interestingly too, and I should have thought of this when I was, I'm going to write this down on my own sheet as well.

Speaker: because ah I thought of oil and I was thinking of the little hornies and then I remembered Cleo May oil which I don't own any of but I would like some and that is more of like a when you want people to give you things oh yeah remember that oh my god it's i think that the distinction that was made when it was talked about on the witch witch amateur hour was uh like more of like a sugar daddy yeah like you know you're just looking for people to like give gifts to you or when you go to the bar people just like buy your drinks buy your drinks yeah

Speaker: um rather than looking for like lasting love but like you know giving things can come in many forms and so Cleo May oil wrote it down I did love it and lemon oil for myself and I do have lemon oil essential oil so I'm gonna use that too and orange oil but I don't have that but whatever Excuse me, we're focusing on yours right now.

Speaker: What other incenses though? There's like a lot. I think that maybe like ah like a pine and cedar. What about eucalyptus?

Speaker: what about eucalyptus eucalyptus that's a good one and it's a very common oil to find too if you're ever doing something that requires it um do we need to mention about cleo mate oil is a traditional hoodoo thing thank you that is true um it is it is a hoodoo thing um i don't think it's a closed

Speaker: It's traditional hoodoo and conjure blend historically used by women in the service entertainment or sex industries to attract generous financial support secure good tips and maintain personal safety without causing obsessive attachment.

Speaker: Because it is a traditional folk recipe exact proportions vary by practitioner but it centers around specific sweet and root ingredients. Yeah, for myself, like, i don't think I would attempt to try to make it because I feel like that might be more of like ah encroaching on a Not sure specifically if it's closed practice or not, but I would choose to purchase it from a like verifiable hoodoo and voodoo practitioner. Yeah.

Speaker: um Which I have i've purchased you know witchcraft products from voodoo practitioner before. Sweet. I'm a big fan of that. ah And that's what I would encourage anybody else who is looking for Cleo May oil or anything else from a voodoo, voodoo practice. There is a black owned witchy store in Detroit, which I have never been to, but I'm like getting, you know, curious about it. and I really would like to go and

Speaker: see what they have there. I want to know i want to know what they got. want to know the deets. um Yeah, I remember it was in Detroit, or it was you know in the area outside Detroit, that I got the Voodoo stuff. It was just...

Speaker: I think it was just a candle. Wasn't it? Yeah. It was at the witch's, um, bizarre. Yeah. And she had a table set up. I wish I remember her that. Yeah. But, uh, yeah, she had that, um, for health and healing. Yeah.

Speaker: Um, it was funny. It was, it was funny when, I went back through security to fly home. Mm-hmm. And they had to pull that candle out of my suitcase and be like, what is this? And I was like, it's voodoo. Don't touch it.

Speaker: And they were like, oh, and it was a black guy who ah who was going through. oh my gosh. And he was just like, cool.

Speaker: and I think it was mostly just that it like wasn't distinguishable in the scam. Yeah. They always have to do that with my tarot cards. Oh. my bags because particularly because they come in those really thick boxes um so they just sort of can't tell what they are um but yeah i thought that was really funny but yeah big fan and goddamn what else uh again though back to colors too like

Speaker: I think that blue would be another good color to look at. o Particularly your well-being because it's such a calm. Yeah. clear There's, you know, calm, creativity and forgiveness are like the two, three.

Speaker: big keywords I'm looking at here. Also communication. And I think that's good too for well-being when it comes to needing to improve on communicating your needs.

Speaker: I think that is a good one. Blue is the throat chakra color also. So I remember Anahata's in 2024. twenty twenty four I went and got a crystal bracelet from the the store and what I chose and came home with was a blue lace agate bracelet. o That was specifically for me to work on my communication and like speaking up, advocating for myself.

Speaker: awesome And I think that that's a good flavor to mix into your intention work. Yeah. Particularly because you are so used to just doing everything yourself. Yes.

Speaker: And taking care of everything by yourself.

Speaker: Like learning communicate your needs, even in little small ways. Yeah. it would be enormously beneficial, I think, for you.

Speaker: Yeah. I just found a new metaphysical store near me that was not there before, so I don't know when it popped up. But it's like 10 minutes from my house. It's Rooted Intentions Apothecary. Ooh.

Speaker: Ooh, I think that this might be Black-owned because they have natural hair care, which makes me wonder because a lot of times natural hair care is definitely... you know targeted for natural african-american hair hell yeah those kind of products you should definitely go and meet them herbs for you okay herbs for you eucalyptus counts as an herb too um obviously there's like the incense for that you could do oils for that but like

Speaker: I think you can get it in herb form, can't you? I you mean what eucalyptus? That's what I was just saying. Whale form, you mean? Herb form. Herb form. Well, I guess the whole plant. The plant. Yeah. like Because I do have some of that. yeah I don't think it really comes as like a dried.

Speaker: it is dried. Sometimes it can be. Like when you buy them. Like on the whole stock. Yeah. Like because they usually are for decoration. So they're dried.

Speaker: um if they say i've gotten because i get when i get them um they're not dried yet oh when do you but where do you buy yours at trader joe's oh okay yep this um this store has cedar sage oh hell yeah that i love that mm-hmm um But eucalyptus is an herb for you.

Speaker: um And like other flowers, lavender. Lavender is a sleepy time herb. But it's like in the same vein as like um blue as a color for, you know, this kind of work where it's like calming.

Speaker: Okay. And like, it's very gentle. It has such gentle energy. so I think lavender would be good. I'm also for some reason thinking of lilac.

Speaker: And I hate lilac. I'll never use it. phil or i don't like the smell of it. Okay. Never did. I wonder, I want to know why I'm thinking of it as being good for this intention though. So dude, Hmm.

Speaker: dude

Speaker: I'm sorry that you hate the smell of it. Yeah. Because it's exactly what this intention is. It's high vibration renewal, energetic protection, breaking through stagnant or heavy winter energies.

Speaker: Like, I would interpret that to mean like,

Speaker: survival periods. hu And that's how you have been feeling. Yeah. Is that you've been in survival mode for a long time. That is true. So yeah, sorry you don't like lilac. That's okay. Because that seems like exactly the right thing to try.

Speaker: You know? i um I wonder if I could get some dried lilac and burn it and if it would be any different because like what it is that when when a fresh like lilac bush is blooming the smell is like really overwhelming and I get a headache. I don't know. it gives me a headache usually. So it's like it's not necessarily that it stinks to you but that it's just too much. It does kind of stink to me but it it does give me a headache so I just you know i don't really know yeah why that is but

Speaker: yeah my mother loves lilac and i just never i just never have it does strike me as like an old lady flower yeah honestly i don't know if that's like a generational thing or if it really is just like grandma's gravitate to it but uh yeah that makes sense to me oh my god um

Speaker: And I wonder what else would be good. um Look up ginger for me since you've got the things going over there.

Speaker: know what? that's I feel good about that one too.

Speaker: Ginger is fiery. Ginger might be good for my working. um

Speaker: It's like a it seems like catalystic. like it seems like a like a ignition kind of vibe. All right, I'm adding ginger

Speaker: to mine. um But it definitely is it says it's an energy accelerator and a booster, which sort of in the same vein as like,

Speaker: the fire quartz in the crystal form of like boosting and amplifying. But it's also connected to passion and romance, wealth and prosperity, courage and confidence, and spiritual protection. Sweet.

Speaker: And it seems like it's used a lot in money spells, candle magic, protection and clearing. I think it's good for both of our purposes. I agree. Yeah, particularly because like, especially when you're in that headspace of like recovery mode, it's good for a while to allow yourself to slow down. but once you have slowed down slowed down, it really can be difficult to pick up more momentum and like get, you know, on with your life as it were. um And I think the ginger would be really good in that ah stage of healing.

Speaker: So, yeah. Cool. Yes. Good choice. love ginger. Can you write down? shall. Did you write down the other herbs? um Eucalyptus.

Speaker: Lavender. And I will put lilac just safe. Because it was so on the nose. um And maybe...

Speaker: In the same vein as Ginger being like for the particular phase of your healing where you've got to start picking up the pace a little bit ah hu and getting back into the groove of life. Yeah. i'm Lemon should go in that stage as well.

Speaker: um In here, it says intense cleansing, protective and solar energetic properties. Love it. I love the smell of lemon. Stagnant energy and it banishes negativity.

Speaker: So like, yeah, ginger and lemon together. And that's also like such a classic combination anyway. Yeah. And honestly, ginger and lemon together is like highly... Like a like a kick in the butt. like I don't know why I thought of lemon and lavender together.

Speaker: That I have seen too. yeah And I think that that's like a very nice combination because lavender is very calming but lemon like lifts it. So you can have like a calm but focused vibe. Yes.

Speaker: I like that. Fuck yeah. Yeah. oh and Okay, good. Yes. Exciting!

Speaker: Yay! We have magic. Yeah, bitches. Yeah. Yeah. I'm glad. I'm glad we did this. And let's try to keep doing it. Hell yeah.

Speaker: Because, yeah, like, as we've stated, if you don't think about doing it, you're not going to do it. Right. So... you know, and this is all just super fly by the seat of our pants.

Speaker: Anybody doesn't like, this is not like we've just come up with like, here's an exact recipe to do this thing. Like if you're listening and you feel inspired by any aspect of something we've just talked about, take it and run with it.

Speaker: Put your own like twists and and touches to it. um That would be perfect. Honestly, dude, i'm I am getting so excited.

Speaker: Good. i knew that you would. This is the thing. like You just need that like reminder like, oh yeah, this is an exciting thing that I like. yeahp And yeah, once you got there, you got it. Fuck yeah. And also there's so many new freaking metaphysical stores popping up around me that I've never heard of before.

Speaker: Well, it seems to me like that's something you got to go check out. That's amazing. I'm so, oh my God. So happy because like my favorite one closed because the two little too low old ladies that ran it, I don't know what happened, but they closed their shop.

Speaker: Yeah. um Yeah. I'm super excited. Molly.

Speaker: New phase of my life starting. a no excuses no no excuses you have every reason and every opportunity to go check these places out and to start doing your spell crafting and I believe in you thanks you're welcome anyway ah this has been a little bit all over the place but ah this has been our episode I guess oh yeah um

Speaker: we are winding into our favorite phase of the year oh my god yes like i could not be more thrilled not either me me neither e the pumpkin spice flavors are out yeah i still have not gotten anything that is pumpkin spice flavored because i'm just holding i'm holding out i'm giving it another week i my birthday is in less than a week now i broke down and did get something on saturday would you get it's saturday or sunday um the tim hortons near me ah they have the pumpkin spice um iced cap they call it

Speaker: it's a blended frozen blended or you can get the hat the hot ah latte as well but i got the frozen blended dude and it is so freaking oh my god so good and i did get it again today hell yeah so i've done it twice it's too hot for hot drinks right they're frozen yeah um but i definitely will be getting a pumpkin spice latte iced at some point i'll get uh the one at starbucks that i really love is the pumpkin cold foam cream cold foam so good um but also just the pumpkin spice coffee creamer

Speaker: um in my grocery order like it's it's favorited it's on there um it won't be long now amazing i know i need to i need to look and see if i can get me a pumpkin spice cream or two her doing do it do it um but yeah oh in you new phases of life and of the year and everything's starting to feel fresh and optimistic.

Speaker: I'm here for it. And we'll be back again to talk more about it next week. Heck yeah, man. Yay. I love it. All right.

Speaker: We love you guys. Thank you so much for joining us. We are so, so grateful for you. see next week.
