And for so so long, I was feeling so clouded because I was living in other people's worlds. their business successful, or that looks like it made them lose weight or getting that particular thing, piece of clothing or handbag or car made them, you know, feel abundant.

Personal Growth Enjoyment and Flexibility

And I was just, I was not focused on me, on what I actually want, on what is true to my values and beliefs. When we gain that clarity, when we know who we are, what we want, we move forward. Like I'm just imagining myself floating on some ice like skating forward, free flowing, effortless.

It feels good. It feels easy. And it gets to feel like that for you. None of this has to be hard work. I want to drill into you guys that this is supposed to be fun.

Yes, I ask you to get uncomfortable and dig deep at times. Yes, that's where the real change comes from. But no, this does not have to be something that you are working on every minute of the day. You do not have to meditate for hours. You don't have to journal on topics that have you crying and purging for hours. Like,

Manifestation Techniques and Self-Reflection

at that same level. And that's what we, you know, gravitate to. And that's what we attract more of into our lives. So it's all, it's like a big wheel. It's all, it's all connected.

I'm not saying we have to reach for unachievable things here. We are human. Yes, we can feel clear some days. Yes, we can feel clear on some topics, but then other topics or other areas in our lives may feel totally clouded and that might need months of work.

Or maybe you you know, feel a lot more clearer than you did, but you're comparing yourself to someone. Maybe you're comparing yourself to me who last week in the episode, I said, we pass around a smile. Now I am feeling so clear. I'm feeling so focused. I know exactly what to do. I know exactly where I need to go.

Maybe you're like, oh, I don't feel like that. So I can't move on to episode two. That's not exactly what I'm saying. Now you will know, my smileys, you will know if you put in the work, if you put in enough work to move into episode two. Now, again, I'm not saying that you needed to spend time hours and hours on episode one, on the workbook, journaling, meditating, doing all of that. Because if you are forcing all of this self and spiritual development stuff, that's not that's not how it's meant to go.

Yes, sometimes getting into a meditation can feel like, you know, hard work or maybe the journaling does still feel like a bit of a chore for you. Again, I'm just trying to be realistic and relatable. That is normal.

That is okay. But did you make an effort... to do things for you. Did you put time aside for yourself because you deserve that time and because you are giving this four week challenge a real shot?

Everyone's real shot is going to be different. A mom of three's real shot is probably going to be different to a single young person in their twenties. So it's going, you're going to be able to input different you know amounts of time and energy into it. And that is okay.

But listen to me, Close your eyes, maybe. Not if you're walking or driving. Maybe just don't close your eyes. Just listen. Are you proud of what you did for week one?

Take yourself on a walk, play it while you're cooking dinner, whatever it is, but really try and tune in to the lessons, to what I'm saying and let it really sink in. Did you do what I asked of you? Did you take a look, an overview, a little bit of an audit of your life and look where you're giving your energy, who you're giving it to, what you're giving it to, where it feels yucky, where it feels like you're giving too much, where it feels like you're not giving enough?

Okay. So let's get into episode two, ask it like you mean it guys. This is an exciting one. Now it is following the similar kind of steps, which I have probably taken you but through before. This is essentially the step of ask. But what I found was that myself included and a lot of my community, you guys, my smileys, we were asking quietly.

We were almost whispering what it was that we wanted for a few reasons. I think the biggest reason comes down to self-worth because we didn't truly feel worthy and deserving of what it was that we were asking for.

Whether we thought there were other people that were better suited for the job or for the person or for whatever it was that we were manifesting, or maybe we felt guilty asking for something when there are other people in the world starving when there are people in the world that are in war at the moment it can be so heavy and negative to think about these people around the world right now and what they are going through and it can be really hard to ask for what it is that you want and feel worthy of asking for that when you already have a house or a phone or a healthy loving family i totally get that and i struggle with it as well

Fears and Confidence in Manifestation

of combat that. But for now, I'm just kind of stating some reasons as to why we might be whispering our desires instead of stating them out loud, clearly, boldly, with passion, with excitement.

Another big reason is because simply we are scared of failure. We are scared of judgment. We are scared of disappointing ourselves. We are scared of disappointing others. So we think if we ask quietly, the universe might not hear and then we might not have to actually do the thing that's scary because that thing creates change or creates, you know, uncomfortable feelings of nerves or maybe that thing that we are asking for isn't actually going to serve the people around us because it's different or maybe it means you moving away from the person that you love or, you know, leaving a job where all your friends are at. There's so many reasons as to why we might be asking quietly.

And what I want to say to you is it's time to stop asking quietly. but If you are serious about what it is that you are wanting to manifest into your life, it's time to ask boldly.

Another thing that I think we as a collective fear is actually our own power. If you listen to the Pass Around the Smile podcast, you know that you are a powerful being. You know that the power of your mind has the ability to shape and change your reality, right?

You know that. We know that. And sometimes that can be scary. Because we know that if we really give this a shot, if we really work on our mindset, where our values and beliefs are, what it is that we want, visualize it, create it into our lives, then we've actually created it. And while the thing that we want is obviously so exciting and we genuinely want it, because why would we ask for it if we didn't want it?

It doesn't mean it's not scary because usually these things that are exciting come with change or with a big amount of success, or maybe we open ourselves up to more judgment.

If we're you know wanting to start a YouTube channel or wanting to start a podcast or wanting to start a business, so we have to start showing up on social media, online, on radio, whatever it is.

So maybe that's a part of why you are asking quietly because you are actually scared of your own power. But if you're scared of your own power, you are going to continue to live a life that does not completely serve the person that you were put on this earth to be.

Who were you put on this earth to be? What were you put on this earth to do You should be able to answer those questions now because we went through the week one of Clarity is Power.

Now, don't get me wrong. You still might answer... These questions that I'm asking you with trepidation, with fear, with anxiety, that's normal. You don't have to be so like bold and clear. This is exactly what I want. and I'm going to go get it. I'm going to chase my dreams unapologetically.

Let's be realistic. We're human. We get scared. And that's okay. That's okay. I guess I just don't want to like go. um just, what's the word? Like I know toxic positivity, I i don't subscribe to.

And I really try to watch myself with that, but I'm kind of talking about like toxic confidence almost because I don't want you guys to think, oh, I have to be so confident and so clear and so bold and so loud about what it is that I want for them to materialize. You don't.

I'm just kind of taking you through what I know works and you get to grab whatever level within the teachings that I am bringing you that fits in with your life.

So you want to be asking through a place of alignment and confidence that feels right for you. And no excuses though, to be like, oh, it feels right to me to ask really quietly because I'm a shy person.

No, no, no. I still want to push you a bit. I still need to push you a bit. I'm doing... it's It's my job to tell you that you are good enough, that you are capable enough, that you are the best person to live your dreams. And if you don't ask them from a place of confidence and alignment, you will not get them.

Clarity and Co-creation with the Universe

crave. And we feel clear and focused to move forward. We're not looking next to us. We're not looking at the news. We're not looking at social media.

We're not letting other people's expectations or opinions sway us because we know what we want. We know what is right for us. And what can help you if that kind of mentality is making you feel too, like maybe a little bit claustrophobic because maybe you are like, look, i I do really think I know what I want and I think this feels good, but you still have, you know, the fears and the limiting beliefs coming in. That's totally fair enough.

I'm the same. So what I like to do at the moment with pass around a smile, while I say i am so focused, I'm so clear, I know exactly what I want and need to do to bring me happiness and to build my business at the same time.

I am telling the truth there because I did the work to get to that mentality. However, there are 100% days where I come in and I feel anxious or I feel off or I feel out of alignment.

So what I like to do then is I like to have a little affirmation that's something like, I do know what I want and I am clear and I am focused, but I'm also open to change. I'm open to guidance and I'm open to change.

better things if something better is on the way to me or available to me soon. Because for years, and I've mentioned this already, I was chasing a dream that wasn't right for me. I told myself that that dream was right for me. So I always like to just leave it open to the co-creation of the universe who I believe in,

to help me, to guide me, to co-create with me as I might not actually know the best way forward. Feeling me? Are you feeling me? I hope so.

All right, let's move on. If we don't ask, how do we expect to be heard? Now, whoever you believe in, right? Whether it's the universe, source, energy, God, Buddha, a deceased loved one, maybe be a pet that you believe is in heaven, whoever it is that you believe in, you probably see them as these like magical beings, right? Because they're not really here in our physical reality with us.

They're kind of around. We can't see them. Maybe we feel their energy. Maybe we see their colors. Maybe you're that intuitive. Maybe you're not. That's okay. But we see them as these magical beings, right? So sometimes we expect that they will be able to read our minds and that they will just bring us what we want so we can just go on, live our lives, party, enjoy, ignore all the real work we have to do because that's uncomfortable and that takes effort.

My angels know what I need. My angels know what I want. But we have to let them know that we are ready and that we are ready.

I really do believe that when you start boldly saying what it is that you want, it is so much more likely to happen. For so long, I was asking quietly about many different things.

A, because I was lacking clarity. I didn't know what I wanted. So I was asking for a million different things. I was confused. I was here. I was there. I was everywhere. I was being swayed by other people's opinions. But I was also asking for a lot of things because I wanted to just kind of like plant them all and then hope that the universe took what was best for me and ran with it and gave it to me. And while I really like, I don't know if there's like a word, cause I'm pretty sure I, I'm pretty sure I came up with this. I don't know if I did, but you know how, when we want something, we will very quickly

go to all of the things that could go wrong, right? All of the things, the situations that could happen that would be so bad, that would be so embarrassing, that would be so humiliating and um we we wouldn't be able to get out of it. It would be the worst thing. And we imagine them, we see them happening, whether it's this person saying this certain thing, whether it's a bad review, whether it's raining on the day or whether the camera doesn't work or whether we lose the files, whatever it is, we think of all of the things that could go wrong, right?

In a few, not a few, it was like ages a podcast ago, I kind of, again, I think I came up with this, but I could have got it from someone else like subconsciously, who knows? But I want kind of come up with a name of it because it's almost like a method or an activity or I don't know what it is. Maybe you guys can help me out with how I can like name this and actually make it like a thing that I talk about with you smileys, because I reckon we all do that. What I just said about the negative spiraling, but we can all do this instead.

So the positive spiraling, the opposite. When we want something, I think it's really cool to think of all of the different things that could go so incredibly right. Oh, it was in my Manifest Magic course. Now I'm remembering.

So what if your boss called you and said, we want you to go to New York next week and we want you to work with, you know, this incredible singer.

Positive Thinking and Outcome Focus

Maybe you are a musician and we want you to co-create and write a song with that person and work with that label.

What if your family called and said, we have decided to take you all on a trip, a skiing trip to Japan, we're paying. What if you won a million dollars?

What if you won a prize home? What if you got accepted into the best university that you could ever get accepted into? Go like crazy amounts of positive, even if it seems a little bit ridiculous to you. Like here's an example.

Let's say that you are going for a job, ah job within your work. What's it called? A promotion, you're going for a promotion, right? That's your desire, but you're like, I accept this desire, but I also accept something way better.

So then let's go ridiculous. So let's say you don't actually get that promotion because you get poached from an agency in, i don't know, Switzerland, who are absolutely obsessed with you. They want to pay you triple what you get now. They want to fly you over in first class.

They want to put you up in a castle and they want you to also create a podcast alongside the work that you're doing. And they're going to set you up with with a studio.

The podcast will be edited. um And then when you get there, you meet the love of your life. He is from where your your hometown is. And then you marry him and then you fly home and you start a family.

Now, This isn't ridiculous. This could happen, right? But what I'm just trying to get a point across that when we can spiral so negatively and think of all the things that could go wrong that are so ridiculous and not going to happen, why don't we do it in the opposite way?

Now, I know I'm kind of going a little bit off topic here from the ask it like you mean it, but all of this is going to integrate into the whole process. manifestation method. And I just want you guys to start thinking differently.

Now, this isn't necessarily wrong, but it isn't necessarily right either. Not that there's any right and wrong. The way that you manifest is perfect and the way that I manifest is perfect. But sometimes some things work for us and some things don't.

What I was doing is, yes, I was coming up with all of these different exciting things that I might want and I was kind of like planning them and being like, ohh this could happen, that could happen. But what I was doing in the process was I wasn't clear on exactly one or two or even three things.

that felt really good and really aligned. Instead, I was just putting them all out, hoping that the universe would do the work for me. So I was being a little bit lazy, I guess you could say.

Again, I don't want to say don't do this because i think it's great to do this. I think it's great to come up with all of the different things things that could happen or that you might want, but I don't think it should happen in this ask step.

I think it should happen later. So we'll talk about it in maybe episode three or four. We'll see when it comes out, when it feels right. But when you're asking, if you are unclear about what you are asking, the universe is going to be unclear right back.

They are going to feed off of that energy. Now, you need to check in on your energy when you're asking. So let's use my example. I was asking for all these different little things, but I was asking quite quietly because I wasn't sure.

I was like, this would be really cool. That would be really cool, universe. I might ask for this through my journaling. I might ask for this other desire through my meditation. And when I'm on my gratitude walk, I might ask for that. other one and see which one the universe hears and thinks. And I'm just going to go off and enjoy my life and not think about any of them. And in some instances, that can be a way of surrendering. And I have manifested incredible things by literally just saying it, dropping it, leaving it, surrendering.

That reinforces the fear. So watch your vocabulary and watch the energy when you are asking. So to switch that, it would be, I am so competent and I am good enough to achieve this goal or to receive this manifestation.

If you are feeling desperate or needy, as I mentioned before, the dream might feel too big for you or you might be asking for it for the wrong reasons. You might be asking for it to prove something to someone so that competitive energy comes in. If I need this because I need to prove to this person, I can do it.

Or maybe you're asking for something because you are jealous that other people have it and you don't. Again, the energy around the ask of that desire will be off. It will not be in alignment with what it is that you want to attract.

It is one of the greatest feelings. I actually used to purposely leave my manifestations to ask until I was on that dance floor and I'm like losing myself in the music. I'm having so much fun. Trust and Boldness in Requests

Not at all. It's just if you know you have something coming up or if you happen to be having a really good day, ask in those moments. Yes, I really feel like it supercharges your manifestations.

But if you just need to ask when you're feeling a little bit optimistic, Do that. That's still amazing. But I don't want you to ask when you are feeling super negative or super down. I would really wait. i would work through those emotions, wait a couple of days or a couple of weeks to then ask when you are feeling that little bit better.

So I touched on this a little bit before about when we ask for like a lot of things, trusting that you've asked to like, just let it go. but what if you're just asking for one thing, right?

You ask for it, let's say, through your journaling session. You're feeling really good. You've you've got you've gained the clarity in week one. you You know exactly what you want. You do my you know soundtrack ritual. And during the soundtrack ritual, you're feeling so in alignment, so clear. You're connecting with your higher power. You write it in your journal. You ask and you're like, ugh.

We'll talk about this more in week three, surrendering and letting it go. But it's very often that we will get to a point where we think, I might just need to ask again a little louder and a little clearer because I don't think the universe heard me.

If you're asking quietly, whispering it, the universe has still heard you, but you're just putting out that like a lack of energy So that's why you need to ask from like a bold and clear place from the start. And I promise you, if you do, the universe has heard you. Now, if you're asking quietly or whispering or just telling yourself, maybe I didn't do it loud enough, so I'll do it again.

it really, honestly, I don't think it works like that. I've done it. I've done it a million times and it never has worked out how I've wanted it too if I didn't ask properly in the first place. Now, I don't want like, you're obviously learning now. So you may have asked quietly in the past for what it is that you want. And you now know that you have to gain clarity and ask boldly. Yes, perfect. And definitely ask again in this good way.

But after that, after you know that you have asked boldly and passionately, you do not have to ask again. Why? Because if you are asking again, it's It puts a lack of trust out to the universe to be like, I don't think you heard me how I wanted you to hear me. So I'm going to say it again. And then you're switching over from an energy of faith and trust to an energy of desperation and fear that you didn't hear me properly.

And you don't have that trust. And when you don't have that trust, you're not like a free flowing co-creation kind of being with the universe or your higher powers, are you? So when you're at a restaurant and you ask for what you want, you don't ask twice, right? I mean, unless they've forgotten your order and then that kind of defeats the purpose of what I'm talking about. But, you know, it's not like you go, oh can I please have the carbonara?

And then they walk past again. and You're like, oh, do you, like five minutes later, do I, I, can I please order the carbonara? They're like, you already have. So treat the universe like you are placing an order.

It's just like, I trust that you know, this beautiful person that I'm wanting to manifest into my life is going to come. It's just kind of like it opens it up a little bit more. It feels a little bit more free flowing. Now, when you ask loud and clear, loud and clear, what you are affirming to the universe is that you know who you are, that you feel worthy of what it is that you want, and you are trusting that the universe has heard you.

Handling Limiting Beliefs

So when you ask boldly and clear, can you now see and feel how powerful this will be received from If you ask boldly and clear and you are like, I know who I am, I know that I'm worthy and I know that you've heard me universe, how good does that feel? It feels succinct, it feels clear, it feels exciting, but it's still letting the universe go and do its thing.

You're not like in a state or a feeling of contraction. You're in a state and feeling of expansion. And that's what we want to focus on. Remember that the feeling that you get when you ask means more than what you are actually asking for.

Focus on the feeling. Make sure that you are feeling open, that you are feeling excited, that you're feeling optimistic, that you're feeling trusting. Yes, we are human. Those limiting beliefs are probably going to try and come in. That ego that's sitting on your shoulder might try and talk you down or talk you out of it.
