Jeff Cleckley on His Near-Death Experience, Angelic Downloads & Awakening to a Higher Calling

His life ended prematurely in 2013 due to an opioid overdose, a consequence of the severe pain from injuries he endured after serving in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. And today I have the pleasure of introducing Jeff Cleckley to you, who has one of the Just the most incredible stories um that I've heard. And when I first heard it, I knew I wanted to have him on the show and to share ah his beautiful insights. So Jeff, thank you so much for being here today. I really appreciate appreciate it.

Early Life and Health Challenges

um So Jeff, why don't you start by telling us what happened, how you came into the near-death experience? well What was but was that about? So I like to start about six months before the near-death experience happened and basically um in my In my lifetime, I was a paratrooper, and I used to jump out of planes. And I had a few parachuting accidents, which led me to be a disabled veteran. And so that's how I started this. This is how it started with the pain. It started with a lot of pain. And so I was giving some painkillers. I was put on painkillers. And well, it started when?

my back began to hurt around six months. ah It was it around December. The day that it happened, my back went out was exactly December 21st, 2012. And I was getting up to go um do some school shopping, I mean, Christmas shopping for my children. And that day I stood up and my back just went out completely. Now I had been dealing with back problems for years.

And ah at this point, I couldn't walk. and And I was in so much pain that you know i I had to get to the VA somehow. And um I managed to get myself to the VA. And they prescribed these powerful painkillers.

And I've been on these painkillers for a few months from that from that December time. And now we're coming into January. Some crazy things happened that I put into perspective now. you know My back goes out. And that same month, I can track pneumonia. So now I'm in all this pain with pneumonia. I get over the pneumonia. I can track MRSA.

I go, I get, I'm put in the hospital for seven days, you know, and this MRSA, it was ravaging my body and I didn't understand MRSA back then. And, you know, the doctors, they come to me and they put me on this IV for seven days.
Near-Death Experience

and And meanwhile, I'm on painkillers. My back's messed up. You know, now I have mercy. I just survived pneumonia. um And these are all scary, crazy. Yeah, these are scary things. And it led me to believe that a lot of people tend to see when their life is ending, things start to happen. It led me to believe that because when I put it into perspective now, I say, man, this was leading up to something

major you know all these things happening so now the doctor he comes to my bedside after they they put me on uh this medication antibiotic that's how to kill it and sits on my bedside he said you know you know we we gave you the strongest antibiotic we have if if this didn't work you you know we started with the the lesser doses and they weren't working and this last one if this didn't work you know people die from mercy that's exactly what he said to me and he said You may have expired if this thing wouldn't have worked. It was the strongest one we had. We don't have any more after this. So I survived that and I come home and now, you know, I had to have surgery on my leg because not only did they give an antibiotic, they had, it was so deep in my leg that they had to do surgery and cut it open and clean out the inside and get the rest of the, the infection. So, so now I'm on these painkillers and, um,

One day, it was April the 6th, 2013. um i mean I have a date. I was supposed to go out that night. i was out Through all of this, I was still you know i was separated from my wife and living single for a long time. So through all of this, I still wanted life. you know I wanted to do something. So I had a date. I was going out. And i was as I was getting ready, the pain was just more intense than it ever was.

You know, so I took two of the what was it hydrocodone? um um One of those I took two of them and as I'm getting ready, i'm I'm not feeling the pain go away So I took two more and I didn't the time I didn't realize the time so now I'm at four and I'm only supposed to take two and then I believe I got so high off of them, yet the pain wasn't gone. I forgot that I'd taken them, and I took two more. yeah At this point, um um I start to feel, you know after I take the two, some time goes by. It's probably 45 minutes from the time I took the first one, until

I started to feel, I mean, three, probably in about 30 minutes, I took the three. And 45 minutes, I start to feel the um ah start to fill this medicine doing bad things to me. And I began to vomit profusely. I began to sweat profusely. And in my mind,

I feel like you know this is I but got so much pain in my stomach, I'm losing consciousness, and I feel like I'm dying. you know you It seems like you tend to sense and feel when you're dying. Yeah. Were you afraid at that point? At that point, yeah. There there was a lot there was a lot going on. um i was i was I could say at that very moment, I was afraid.

but I, something about dying is you accept it, you know, yeah right and you tend to, it's not a willingly accept it, but you you see, you see, you know, this is how it's going to end, you know? So, yeah and so I lose consciousness and then I'm looking at myself, I use briefly lose consciousness. The pain's so intense, I close my eyes and and then all of a sudden I'm looking at myself on the bathroom floor. And um then I'm realizing, yeah, this is it.

you know and And as I'm looking at myself on the floor, then there's this this tunnel opens up, and I'm whisked down this tunnel. And what I remember about this tunnel, I'm moving so fast, but I don't feel any wind. I don't feel any, you know you know being a paratrooper jumping out of planes, i could and I know what wind feels like when you're rushing through something.

and yeah and so um I don't feel any wind and I'm in this place this tunnel this light I go to the light and I'm in this place where um This place is it. First of all, the feeling as I'm going through the tunnel, I begin to lose any connection with Earth, you know, as I move into like all of my connection relation, relationship connections, like emotional attachment, emotional attachments, attachment to things, you know, I lost ninety nine point nine percent. I lost everything except for the thought of my son who was four years old at the time, you know, so.

I arrive in this place and immediately there the the overwhelming feeling of love and peace. and just just It's overwhelming. it's like um It's hard to describe for me. you know My dad, he's a very loving man. My father always as has been. and The love that I felt there was even stronger than, you know, it was stronger than that. You're just like flooded with this tremendous amount of love and peace. Yes, love and peace. And then, you know, there's these beings there, there's three of them. One is,

It's a feminine. It's a feminine being, you know, when people speak of God, they think masculine, feminine. I'm not telling anybody what God is, but I'm telling you what, you know, my experience. And that was a feminine feeling. And the other two beings were there, but they were more in an assisting role. They didn't really, really do anything at this time. Not the primary. Right. The primary being began to walk with me through my life. Now your whole life is flashed before you. So I'm looking at, I will call it something like a movie screen or a reflection, but you're in it. You're in the movie. You, you feel everything that, that you've inflicted on this world, good or bad. So, you know, I started to feel life review. Yeah, it was a life review. Um, and they reviewed my life and I started to see, you know, and even the being that was beside me,

It was a mild chastisement, if you will. Am I talking too loud? Is this all right? No, you're good. It was a mild chastisement and when I did something wrong, but it wasn't like you're condemned to hell in the grave. you know You're not condemned to hell in the fiery place. what's going What you need to do is they referred to everything that I did wrong as the next time you do it.

you know So it was like more corrected like a corrective learning. A corrective learning, mild chastisement is what I'm calling it, corrective learning. So in all the good things, when you did something good, you could feel it. You could feel it in your spirit. You felt that you did something good. You knew that you did something good. You can feel the person's feelings, the person that you did good for and vice versa, the person that you harm, you could feel their pain and how it rippled through their lives. you know um And the same with when you help somebody, how it rippled through their lives and how it helped them do something better for themselves in this lifetime. Now, as I'm going through this review, um I'm still

upset that I'm dead, that I'm gone, that you know I have a four year old son that I want to raise that i ah that needs me. you know And ah I don't want him to traverse this world without his father. you know And so this anger is building up and it's more of a, it's not, it's like, all right, I'ma deal with it. So after the review, they it was like, what do you have to say for yourself?

Wow. Okay. So you complete the review and then you got this emotion coming up. Okay. Yeah. This emotion is coming up and it's like, what do you got to say for yourself? And I don't know where it came from, but what I said, I remember the words, it says, I thought, how did it go? How did I say it? It says you, it says, I don't know you or whoever's running this thing. This is exactly how I said it. You or whoever's running this thing.

You know, you sent me down there and you never showed me how to do it. Yet I stand before you and I get this chastisement that I'm doing it wrong, that I've done it wrong and I've never been shown how to do it. And then I said, the feeling that I feel right now is a wonderful feeling. So if I go with you, cause basically at this time I should rewind, they had already shown me shown me a feeling or shown me a state, made me feel like, or never spoke it, but shown me that I was about to reincarnate back into life that as as a baby and come and do it again. And that's what all of the next time you run into this. If you come into this situation again, that's why they were saying it. They weren't saying it because I was about to get sent back.

It was only when I said, if I go with you, fine. Cause this is the most wonderful feeling that I've ever felt in all my life. Um, yet if you teach me how, if you, so if you teach me how to do it, send me back and teach me how to do it, I'll do it right. So you interjected that we're going to have you go a different path. And yes. Okay. yes So if you send me back, teach me how to do it, I'll do it right. And with that.

The whole scene changed. Now those three beings were in front of me, yet there was like a million beings of light that stood behind them off in the distance, which what I call the third heaven, the heaven that everyone's trying to get into.

Okay. Where I was at, now I call the second heaven, which is the land, I call it the land between the two, two lives, you know, life here on earth and life in heaven. And so they began to impart something into my consciousness and to my brain and to my mind.

And each of them, all of these beings of light were putting something into my head and it got very overwhelming. And as I was about to speak to the main being that I was in contact with and tell them that this is too much. I can't handle it. She, she told me, don't worry about it. You'll understand it. You'll remember it when you get back. And that's when they began to speak. They already put in the feeling that I was going back. Now they began to tell me that.

You're going back, yet you have to teach this. You have to tell people about this because something is coming in the world to where the humanity is being guided or corralled into a way of thinking. Their free will is being taken away from them.

by corralling their choices to where they can only make two choices. Yet there's more choices that humanity can make. And with every choice we make, it takes us closer and deeper down the path of destruction because we're only given two choices and both of them are leading towards our destruction.

We have many more choices in life than what our leaders and what our our authorities give us. And so that was one of the things they made me understand. And then they told me that I needed to teach this to the world. I needed to put this out. And so we're going to send you back. But you have this mission now. Yeah. Yeah. I have I have this thing that I should do. And and um so

So they began to impart now as these Many beings uncountable are putting this in my head I'm still having this conversation with These three beings and now they're telling me, you know, they give me some powerful They told me that they're gonna give me these three things That my walk in life would be easy And if I follow these three guidelines, you know, my walking life will be easy. And one was love everything. For I am everything. These were the words that were coming. Love everything, for I am everything. And I believe they were talking about the creator, the universe, for I am everything. Fear nothing, because fear and doubt are the destroyer of mankind. And the last one was know that I am God, you know. And so,

With those things, they they my departure was coming. They were sending me back. I hope I'm telling this. So you know you're coming back at this point? I know I'm coming back.

and um the the the um What they were putting in my head, some of it I could comprehend in the beginning. and you know there were There were prophecies, there were things to come that they were showing me. There were many things that they that that that they put in my head. The knowledge of how to connect with my higher self or whatever you want to call that thing, God. you know They were putting all of this stuff in my head.

It sounds like, you know, people sometimes talk about when they're meditating getting downloads. It sounds like you're getting this just massive download. Yeah, from what from nowadays I understand it to be a massive download. And so all of this stuff is in my head and then, you know, I go back through the tunnel.

I wake up on the bathroom floor and my stomach is the worst. It's like somebody was stabbing me with knives because I had thrown up so much that there was nothing left in there. I'd sweat it more than I ever sweat it in all my life, you know playing basketball, football and all those sports growing up.

Yeah, you know, it was the work is just sweating profusely and not even moving. That was. And so I woke up in this puddle of sweat and vomit on the floor and and in pain in the body. And I was I woke up and i I couldn't believe what had just happened because that feeling was still with me. It was so overwhelming that feeling of love that I began to cry.

you know I began to cry and i so I began to say, what just happened to me? I know what just happened to me. and and um And you know I began to cry and and start I started trying to remember all the things that that went on over there at that point.
Guiding Spirits and Spiritual Interventions

you know Being a military man, i we had acute attention to detail in my job that I did. i had to have So I paid attention to a lot of things. like I couldn't see my hands and my feet when I was over there. I couldn't see you know my peripheral vision. There was nothing like your hands or

or arms or things that you see out of your peripheral vision. Those are things I remember. So yeah um um um so at this moment, I'm thinking, what just happened? And and at that at that time, that began the quest to figure out what happened to me and what this mission that they they put me on. And you know after that, I began to hear here audible voices.

Oh, okay audible voice in my head guiding me. and the things that I needed to do. you know there was There's many things that I was shown. you know we're We're gonna go, or I started April 6th and the voice that that began to speak to me. you know And um then I started to, I began to learn how to meditate because one, I wanted to reach that state again. That was the first and foremost thing on my mind. you gotta to tell yes That feeling that I had,

I wanted to feel that forever, you know, all the time. And so I tried different things, you know, I started to study about how do I how do I touch that spirit that that that spirituality? How do I do that again? So I looked into DMT, you know, and here's the crazy thing. So once I started to do these things, I began to understand that whatever I asked for, I can have.

you know I began to understand that and that that that the universe gives you what you ask for. so I started studying DMT. This is a crazy story. I started to study DMT and I just looked up to the universe, God, whatever you call it. And I say, you know what? I want to experience DMT. You know, DMT is a very, it's an illegal drug here. It's, it's, it's a scheduled to study that something like scheduled to us, even if you're caught with it, it's even worse than having heroin and and cocaine.

They're starting to be more open in certain states with it because it can open you up. Yes, yeah I believe that because there's one state that allows a guy to have a church. I studied that he has a church and his church ah serves DMT to the congregation. I forget what state that was.

But at this time, it was very, you know is it it was that was the only guy that I heard of that, and I forget what state. But at this time, you couldn't find DMT where I'm at. you know yeah And so I asked the universe, and wouldn't you know? It was crazy, because two weeks later, I get new neighbors. you know I get some new neighbors, and they come over and knock on the door. They bring me a housewarming gift.

And I began to tell them about, you know, we started talking about everything in life. I never met these guys in my life. And we started talking about everything, but that was one of the things that this near-death experience did. It opened me up to to people and spirits and and their their inner being. And I could see good. I could see good people. I could see people who've done bad. I could look at them and feel like they've done something terrible in their lives.

and more like sensitive to energy. Yes, I was super sensitive. Yes, super sensitive to energy. So this conversation with them, it led into my near death experience. And I could, as a matter of fact, at that time, I couldn't stop talking about it, you know, everybody um I would run into, I'd talk about this near death experience, I couldn't stop because it was so over overwhelming. And it changed my life so much in this short period of time, you know, from what I used to do and used to the way I used to think to, to then even, so we're having this conversation about DMT and and no, no, we're having this conversation about the the afterlife and meditation and it was crazy. just One of them just came out and said, you ever tried DMT? And I said, no, but just a couple of weeks ago, I asked the universe, could I try it? And I would love to, he said, you know what, we got some and you can try it.

You know, that was amazing to me. It it was just further solidifying my my understanding of what's going on. Just more edification for my growth. so i did Did you get back to that place though? or what What DMT did was ah I didn't get back to that place. It felt artificial.

Yes, there are insights in the DMT there are there was many insights and and um Things like that and honestly believe that your your mind has to be in a positive space In order to get positive from the DMT and I was definitely in a positive space you know from from what I had just experienced and Realizing that death is just a passing and we never die really just the body passes um I was in a very positive place at that time, and even now, you know, um just always positive, always thinking to the positive. Understanding now that the negative is here, this is what what this physical realm is, this there's there's two warring things, like there's always an opposite.

Yeah. In this realm. Hilarity or contrast. Yes, yes. And so so um the DMT, it did it did a lot for wake opening me up to... to spirituality. Yes, it did. and so what After the DMT experience, I did it around seven times. seven times and After those, I really felt like it it didn't take me to where I wanted to go. and so I began ah began

i started I had already started meditating you know in them two weeks. So I began to get better at meditating. And always in my meditations, there was a voice guiding me. you know It was guiding me. And when I come to understand it now, as as um I call it in the beginning, I didn't know its name. I didn't know my guardian angel's name.

And so i was I would say my higher self, that's what I was calling it. And then and about, it was April, it was around December now, coming up on another year, December 2023, I decided, I wanted to know who is guiding me, because in this six months,

I was helping so many people with the guidance of this higher self. People would come to me and ask me for something or ask me to help with something. I would go in the meditation. This higher self would tell me exactly what to do and I would give them the advice and they would go on and do something wonderful in their lives. you know And so at at this point,

I wanted to know who this, this thing was and what I've come to understand. and I went deep into meditation. I, I never asked it its name. So one day I go and I asked who is this that has guided me, you know, and it said I'm Meditron. And I don't know who Meditron is. Cause I've never heard of Meditron raised, raised in a Christian background. Um, we know of Michael.

all of the that you know the archangels. Yeah, different angels. Gabriel, Ariel, Michael, but I'd never heard of this Metatron and it it kind of scared me because I don't know who Metatron is. Yeah, I guess it almost sounds like a transformer. Yeah, it sounds like the bad guy from Transformers. and Yeah, because that that's my era, the bad guy from Transformers.

so I go I now after that and and it spoke about leading me and guiding me in all truth. It's my you know, I was it's my protector. um What is is Metatron is considered an archangel or an angel or angelel what out where I found him and it was in the the Jewish what was it the Jewish Kabbalah and the Jewish Kabbalah the arcane like the jewish tradition the jewish tradition yes okay and so hence his you know when i when i looked at his the the metatron cube it does have this star of david within it you know the metatron cube yours it's right behind you i see it right over your shoulder okay and so and so um

I come to understand this being that guides me as Metatron. So, and he he leads, he leads me in all truth, you know, and I like to get to the good parts of this story. you So, so there's a, there's still things unfolding that I was taught, you know, that I was told that was going to happen. Like I was told that I was going to have to get this to the world. And I asked, how will I get to this world to the world? And he told me a book, you know, you you're going to write a book.

I'm like, I don't know how to write a book. you know I'm not versed in that that. These things don't even matter to this thing that that we call God or the universe, whatever it is, because first I'll get to how this power was solidified in me and it will go to you know three years of teaching people. I used to hold masterminds at my house. you know I couldn't find anybody in my area that could remotely speak about this. you know So I found a couple people and we started a group and it started growing.

And so I started helping people as as this got out, you know, my my immediate family, my brothers, they believe they believe me because we grew up together and we have a tight bond. So one day, one day my brother calls me. I think it's around 2015 now. And my brother calls me and I'm doing so many things in this. He calls me and he says, Jeff, my son is in a coma. He went to school on Friday.

And ah they were playing this game where they all just take medicine. They bring their parents' medicine to school. And they pop. They live in they lived down in Virginia, close to Richmond. And um I live in pen Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So we're 300 miles apart. And so I said, you know I'll do what I can. you know I'll do what I can. His son's in a coma. It was a Friday he called me. And and on that Friday,

um I had so much going on that I forgot to go in the meditation on that Friday. Now now it's Saturday night. and he wo what This is what my brother told told me. He said, if they're going to pull the plug on Sunday, he's in a coma. they They're going to pull the plug on Sunday.

um and so I, he, he's crying to me and I'm like, I'll take care of it. So he's asking for your help. He's telling my help. Yes. And so Saturday night, I go into meditation.

And I meet up with Madachar. And he I asked him, I said, you know I need help with this. can we Is there anything we can do? And he whisks me in the spirit, because all of this is done in the spirit.
Manifestations and Life Changes

I call it the second heaven. This is a magical place, the second heaven. When you go into this meditation, it's like you can you can create anything you want.

there, and it will manifest here. and This is what I've come to understand. so he takes me to I'll call it the place where children in comas go, because there were many children here. There were many children in comas. and ah I love to speak this part and say that the Spirit, the Christ Spirit, was there.

Jesus Christ, whatever you want to call it, it was there and he was taking care of the children in this place. And I never spoke with that Christ spirit. I never interacted. I was whisked over to my nephew and we had a conversation and I i said, um you know, your parents want you to come back. Everybody's missing you.

come back and he looked at me and he said, he he said um I'll come back, but he said it in a way that made me feel because in the spirit, he really can't lie in these things. He said it in a way that made me feel like he wasn't telling me, he wasn't forthcoming with me. And I said, look, i need you you are going to do great things because as as this is happening, I'm being shown um his life. I'm just being shown his future if he comes back. Oh, wow. And drawing me his future, and I'm speaking to him, saying, look, you're going to help people. You're going to do great things when you come back. you know In your life, you're you're going to come back, and that your job will be to help people. You will help many people. you know This is what you're calling is. This is what you're supposed to do.

and um I, I pretty much convinced them with that and telling them that his sister and his brother, I mean, in his father and his stepmother are going to smile when he opens his eyes. Cause he was saying that they're mad at him. And I said, no, they're only going to be smiling when they open their eyes. And we talked a little more and he could, I convinced him to come back, you know, he's like, this is the best place I've ever been. And so.

when he When he was convincing that i when he convinced me that he was coming back, I said, okay. And he said, I'm just gonna stay here a little while longer because I love this feeling. It's the best feeling I ever had. And we laughed about that and I said, yeah, it's really the best feeling you ever felt in the world. And with that, I came out of my meditation and I immediately, now it's it's like three three in the morning. And I immediately text my brother,

I remember Jesus telling,

And what's crazy is later on that day, I didn't have my car. I lost my car at this, by this time, you know, not working, no car payment card. So like later that day I had an appointment.

Yeah. I said, well, you know what? Make it so that, yeah, make it, make it real for me. Show me that you're saying this. And while I'm on the floor meditating on my back, my dad knocks on my door and he's like,

I got out of meditation, answered the door and my dad said, Jeff, you know, today I just decided I'm gonna give you the car early. So how about you just drive me back home right now and you can have the car all morning. so That was confirmation for me because I wasn't supposed to get the car till noon. yeah I dropped my dad off came home, got dressed for my appointment, drove to the casino, made the $200 and like that, and then went to my appointment in the city where the casino's at anyway. And those are things that many things like that. if So like this synchronicity just opened up, right? Like right away, like, you know, show me that this is true. And then it yeah did happen.

Once I needed 200 bucks. And, uh, you know, there's not only just the money, but healings come to once I needed $200. And I was like, man, I need $200. And walking and on the ground. It's $200 in twenties. Just fold it up, balled up in it. And I pick it up and I'm like, I know it's from you. Cause I asked for it.

And after that show, you know, he's got like half a million subscribers. So yeah it was like, after that show, I get a, I get an email, you know, and it says, um, it's a publisher. That's what I spoke number one number one book so it's the book is it would you say it's channeled or The book the book. So my publisher, my publisher, he liked the whole story. We weren't even allowed, we we haven't even been allowed on social media to speak about, to speak the name of it. We've been censored and that's one of the corralling features. Now I was shown during this this this thing that was happening, I was shown exactly which way to go. And I was telling people which way to go. I warned 90% of my family didn't listen to me. and they all ended up with some type of ailment after that. And we even lost a couple. you know so so um yeah So I was shown that. I was i was shown that this this thing would come and we would be given a choice and that our choice

And then in my dreams, I was getting these dreams during that time that the monster is not the monster that you think it is. you know And so the way that I was shown in these dreams were that if you fear this monster, it's gonna kill you.
