Cowboys' Home Loss and Upcoming Thanksgiving Matchups
00:00:10
Nacc
Welcome back everyone to the Bush League Huddle of Fantasy Football podcast. that I'm your host, Knackd, and I'm joined by my co-host, as always, Raj and Fab. Week 11 is already officially in the books, capped off with another Cowboys home loss.
00:00:28
Nacc
And I was actually hoping that it was going to be the last prime time matchup we get with the Cowboys this year. But um sadly, that's not the case. We get a nice little Thanksgiving doozy ah between the Cowboys, ah Cowboys and Giants.
00:00:42
Nacc
So that should be a barn burner. And then we also get ah a prime time matchup on Monday night with versus the Bengals, which they can't flex out because it's being Simpson eyes.
00:00:54
Nacc
Yeah. Yeah, they can't. So they can't flex it because they did all that stuff with the ESPN and and and whatever. So they're not able to flex
Creative NFL Broadcast Themes
00:01:02
Nacc
that. And I think they're.
00:01:02
Roger Emeka
So the players are going to look like the Simpsons.
00:01:05
Nacc
Yeah, I remember, remember a couple of years ago or it was last year was it was Toy Story, Toy Story that was on like Disney Plus and and and whatever.
00:01:07
Roger Emeka
The Nickelodeon.
00:01:10
Fabio
Yeah. Toy Story. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I remember that. no Yeah.
00:01:14
Nacc
And the game like it was so it was actually really cool. I was actually in the States for when it happened.
00:01:20
Nacc
So my Disney Plus actually worked this year. I think you need ah TSN plus in order to be able to get it.
00:01:25
Roger Emeka
A legal cable.
00:01:26
Nacc
But I remember I remember watching it and it was actually the whole the play. It's them has Toy Story characters and and it was they were like cartoon characters playing football. It was like the coolest thing. And like if you're watching it on TV, it's the exact same play. So players, if they're diving for the ball, like you'll see these cartoon guys diving.
00:01:45
Nacc
like Trevor Lawrence I like his long hair throwing the ball like it was it was actually cool to see so um that's the only part of it i'm I'm excited for because the game itself is gonna be a snooze fest no that's not that's not they're not playing the Giants but it's the Bengals yeah they're playing the Bengals
00:01:48
Fabio
for instance instance
00:01:57
Roger Emeka
So, so, so Tommy DeVito is going to be Fatoni.
00:02:04
Roger Emeka
Oh, it's the Bengals.
00:02:07
Roger Emeka
So Joe, Joe Burrow is going to be Lisa Simpson.
00:02:12
Fabio
It's gonna be Simpson eyes Ellen DeGeneres.

Joe Mixon's Stellar Season and RB Comparisons
00:03:56
Nacc
Well, without further ado, let's let's dive into our key takeaways from Monday Night Football. ah Raj, what was your key takeaway?
00:04:05
Roger Emeka
If I really have to provide a takeaway from this game, it's the fact that Joe Mixon is on par with Saikon Barkley and Derek Henry as RB1s this season. So Mixon is seventh in total fantasy points at the running back position. He's actually first in points per game at 22.5. It's four and a half points higher than more than his previous high of 18 back in 2021.
00:04:29
Roger Emeka
If it wasn't for those three games that he missed due to the ankle injury from the hip drop tackle, I think he'd be right there with Barkley and Henry at the top of those stats. I think we could all agree he looks terrific.
00:04:40
Roger Emeka
Showcasing speed, power as usual, receiving ability with back-to-back games of four yards and forty four ah four catches and 44 yards. And he gets Jacksonville and Miami's soft run D in week 13 and 15 respectively.
00:04:54
Roger Emeka
He has a bye in week 14. He does have a difficult playoff schedule against the Chiefs and Ravens in weeks 16 and 17. But Mixon virtually any of the year at worst is a second team all pro.
Teams' Reluctance to Re-sign Top RBs
00:05:06
Roger Emeka
And I think with his three down ability, he's he's to me has said it and forget it top three running back right now.
00:05:14
Nacc
And I think it's funny because I saw an article today and it's funny you highlight Saquon and Derek Henry. Those are also two outcasts that their teams did not want to re resign, including Mixon.
00:05:27
Nacc
Look, ah what would Cincinnati look like with Mixon?
00:05:30
Nacc
I know like I know Chase Brown is doing is doing great, but they thought Mixon was done. Barkley. Again, discarded, didn't want to give them a contract. They were talking about money. Henry, a lot of teams, they want to give him a contract talking about money. And now we're talking about these three running backs specifically being at the tops of their position right now in, in the league. So, um, pretty funny how that happens.
00:05:54
Fabio
Like on top of that, what you said, Knack, I obviously say agree fully, but this, they're also debunking the whole, like after 28, like running backs or they fall off a cliff. Cause you're seeing it now with Henry and mixing and even to a degree, Barkley, I think he's younger than I think he's 27.
00:06:09
Fabio
Like these guys are still well within their prime and getting it done regardless of age.
00:06:14
Fabio
Um, so I think it's from that standpoint, it's huge, right? I mean, it's. Even Kamara too, like I know he's not mentioned the Moneyline Football ah Key Takeaways there, but he's another one too. that like its He's supposed to be past his prime and he's not. And these guys are showcasing that it doesn't matter what age you are, if you're in a right offense and you can still produce behind a good offensive line, that the quality and the skill is what's most important.
Mike Tomlin on Player Value and Success Elsewhere
00:06:40
Nacc
Well, I think Mike Tomlin said it ah best this weekend is one man's trash is another man's treasure. And I think these three backs literally highlight that to a tee.
00:06:52
Roger Emeka
No one's ever said that before, Mike Tomlin.
00:06:52
Fabio
Like every every, yeah, seriously.
00:06:54
Roger Emeka
I've never heard that i never heard that one before.
00:06:55
Fabio
thank that we're not that's not That's not a Tomlinism, please.
00:06:55
Nacc
He said it. It's because he said it this weekend. He said it.
00:06:58
Roger Emeka
I expect better.
00:06:59
Fabio
That's not a Tomlinism.
00:06:59
Nacc
He said it this weekend.
00:07:00
Roger Emeka
It's because I like i expect better from him.
00:07:01
Nacc
He said it this weekend because of expected better for me.
00:07:05
Roger Emeka
No, from him.
00:07:06
Roger Emeka
like the like he's like He's like the Riddler.
00:07:07
Nacc
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:07:09
Roger Emeka
He's like the Riddler, man.
00:07:10
Nacc
OK, it's maybe maybe he's you know what? Maybe after 18 years he's running out now. It's running out of them. ah Yeah, that was obviously.
00:07:18
Fabio
has Has it been 18 years?
00:07:18
Roger Emeka
I get what you're... No, I totally get your what you're...
00:07:22
Fabio
He's been coach for 18. He's been head coach for 18 years.
00:07:25
Nacc
Yeah, he's longest tenured with one team right now in the league.
00:07:28
Roger Emeka
but but not I totally get what you're saying. And maybe just the like my last point on this is like, yeah che yeah, Chase Browns look good, but man, it's like, it's it's a different level. Like the power that Mixon runs with and the cutting ability, like he's, I think guys I said it once in a previous pod, he's never looked this good.
00:07:44
Roger Emeka
Like it doesn't make sense.
00:07:45
Roger Emeka
Like ah I always thought he was like a bit of a plotter.
00:07:48
Roger Emeka
He looked slow in this, man, I have him in four leagues. So four out of five leagues.
00:07:52
Nacc
And, and, and not for nothing, like the offenses are not that far off.
00:07:58
Nacc
Like, I don't know, like they both have good receivers, although maybe, okay, maybe it's, that's what it is.
00:08:00
Fabio
The offensive lines are not that far off.
00:08:04
Nacc
It's the offensive, the offensive line more, but.
00:08:05
Fabio
No, but what i would know but that the the Texans offensive line is nothing to be proud about though. And and the fact that he's doing it behind that offense, like it's not that much better than the Bengals.
00:08:13
Roger Emeka
They're way better. Way better run blocking unit.
00:08:15
Nacc
Yeah, I know, but it's, yeah, no, for sure.
00:08:16
Roger Emeka
I think even p pff even PFF shows those metrics, I believe.
00:08:16
Fabio
Yeah, that's probably what it is.
00:08:17
Fabio
I think that's what it comes down to.
00:08:18
Nacc
It's no, no, yeah, I know there,
Cowboys' Season Analysis and Trey Lance Prospect
00:08:20
Nacc
it's definitely, I guess, yeah, I guess, look at the healthier line proved to be, um, what he needed to, I guess, go to the next level again, like, uh, like we've seen in in previous years, but, um, great takeaway.
00:08:34
Nacc
Uh, Fab, what about you?
00:08:36
Fabio
CD lamb, he's going to be a target monster, but an ADOT scrub. So ADOT is a average depth of target. So all hope for CD lamb is not completely lost. Since Cooper Rush has taken over as QB, CD is Y receiver 16 in the last three weeks. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not a far cry from your expectation of an overall Y receiver one at the beginning of the season.
00:08:59
Fabio
For him to sustain some level of production, he's going to need targets and a lot of them. Just to put these in the context, in weeks one to seven, with Dak, his yards per route run was 2.51, which is like, I want to say top 10, probably even top five in they in in the weeks one to seven, just like we spoke about yesterday on the pod with Nico Collins and Juwan Jennings and Justin Jefferson.
00:09:22
Fabio
In the last three weeks, his yards for route run is 1.24.
00:09:26
Fabio
In the same time span, his average, yeah, that's a big drop-off. In the same, it's half basically.
00:09:31
Fabio
In the same time span, his average FF target was 9.95. So figure 10 yards when he was receiving passes from Dak Prescott. Now it's 6.8. So big drop-offs, but he also went from averaging about nine targets per game to now 11.
00:09:47
Fabio
He's going to need quantity to sustain decent production since the quality now is on IR. And with the up in targets, I think he's on pace right now for 170 targets, which is about nine less than last year. So you're obviously most likely still going to be holding on to CV lamb. I think Y receiver two production high-end Y receiver two production for the rest of the year is sustainable, but you're obviously not happy about that going down for the rest of the season. and
00:10:15
Nacc
Yeah, the targets I feel it's because you have the backup in and the guys like I'm just going to go to my safety guy who can, you know, make the catches.
00:10:22
Nacc
So I definitely agree that the targets probably just increase. But yes, we got to see some quality from from Cooper Rush.
00:10:27
Fabio
Dude, the yards per route run was a big drop off. I was running the numbers. I was like, wow, that's, that's, yeah.
00:10:35
Nacc
Yeah, half half is pretty. Pretty powerful. Yeah, look, I don't know, I have. this team I just any any fantasy value I just want to stay far far away as much as possible yeah yeah WR2 was just a like it sucks you drafted him to be the number one receiver in fantasy football and now you're talking about not even being in the top 12 right so it just it just it just sucks I guess um my key takeaway is um time to start Trey Lance
00:10:51
Roger Emeka
Ah, he's still a WR2.
00:10:52
Roger Emeka
He's gonna be a WR2.
00:11:02
Roger Emeka
Yeah, for sure.
00:11:13
Nacc
and I think the Cowboys are the only team in all four major leagues to not have a home win in 2024. They are currently the laughing stock of the NFL.
00:11:25
Nacc
Their billion dollar stadium is falling apart. I don't know if you guys saw those two metal pieces that fell from from the roof and one actually had to be
00:11:33
Nacc
um drilled into the roof the way it was, because it wasn't safe to just leave it there. So the stadium is now stadium is now falling apart, just like their entire organization.
00:11:46
Nacc
And Jerry is going to be Mr. Stubborn until the end. and and And I think until he steps down as GM, the team is going to be very, very bad, especially with those cappets coming up for CD-LAM and DAC.
00:12:01
Nacc
Cooper Rush actually had a decent fantasy day, went 32 for 55, 354 yards, a touchdown interception, he had 18 points. 55 attempts though is is really high. And they were down early and never recovered, so they had to really pass a lot. But I think with the season being lost, they did spend a fourth round pick on Trey Lance. Don't you want to see what you have in the you know seven games remaining?
00:12:27
Nacc
I feel like starting Koopa Rush does nothing for them like future wise.
00:12:33
Roger Emeka
It's more, it's more of a showcase, right? Like, I mean, Dak is the guy and man, like enough of these national, uh, reporters like Colin Cowherd and the other, like thinking that should door Sanders is going to come in there.
00:12:46
Roger Emeka
Like Dak is there for the long haul. and do Like, do they, these guys not realize the dead cap hits on Dak Prescott? Like, so it's, it's to showcase Lance, maybe it's similar to how,
00:12:56
Nacc
ah But it's not even to get rid of them. It's not to get rid of them. It's to have them there. But Irving was on the um Colin Cowart show and he was saying like, he has that, oh, I have that source that says if they draft Shadr, then Sanders is going to come coach.
00:13:13
Nacc
So this, he's like, I have a good source on that, you know, saying make basically saying that he got it straight from Sanders' mouth.
00:13:20
Roger Emeka
the The only thing with the only thing with Lance, that's going to be interesting, sorry, Fab, is that it gets a bit reminiscent to what happened with Sam Darnold when he took over for Brock Purdy last year for the 49ers. I think that performance against I believe the Ravens got the Vikings to be interested in him. So to your point, I think it could be an interesting opportunity for him to showcase what he has. But I also have no faith in Trey Lance considering he barely played college football anyways.
00:13:49
Fabio
Just two things I want to touch on. One, the reason why they're not starting trade lines is because they probably think they have a chance of making the playoffs. Knowing.
00:13:57
Nacc
No, that's incorrect.
00:13:58
Roger Emeka
What are they, four and eight, four and seven?
00:14:00
Fabio
Hey man, Jerry Jones is stubborn.
00:14:00
Nacc
i think they're I think they're four and seven right now.
Dak Prescott's Contract and Future Moves
00:14:03
Fabio
just saying it wouldn't be surprised.
00:14:03
Nacc
I think they're four and seven.
00:14:04
Fabio
And dude, Colin Coward, sometimes I wonder how he has a show. Like for him to go on air like that and say, like you drive Shader Sanders when you have DAC, when you have all these things and just. Like pay the guy, like who cares? Like he's there. He's on the payroll. Like you don't start him. It's like, it's a bit, it's like, buddy, like doesn't make any sense. And Michael Irving, I think he was on, he was on the panel during the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight.
00:14:30
Fabio
and he was and I think Jerry Jones was there too because it was in the uh it was in it was in Arlington Stadium and already there he was talking his garbage about like oh I'm in Jerry's ear I'm gonna get this guy we're gonna drop this guy it's like he never goes away this guy man honestly like
00:14:33
Roger Emeka
Oh yeah, I remember this.
00:14:45
Nacc
But to be fair on his point, what he was trying to make is that he compared it to the Broncos who were in salary cap hell. And they got rid of a quarterback knowing that they were going to take the dead, the dead cap hit and pay Russell Wilson to play elsewhere. And then drafted the rookie quarterback. You have a good coach, you have the good quarterback who's looking like he's, you know, in line to potentially win rookie of the year. So that's, I think what, where his head went, went to.
00:15:15
Nacc
Again, I don't necessarily agree with it. The cap hits are a little bit different from Russell Wilson's 38 million that they're eating or 80 million in two years.
00:15:24
Nacc
They just signed back. So I feel like I'm, I'm sure Rogers for sure looking at it right now.
00:15:28
Roger Emeka
The dead cap is 151 million.
00:15:28
Nacc
It's got to be like 150 million or something.
00:15:30
Roger Emeka
He ain't going nowhere.
00:15:31
Nacc
There you go. There you go.
00:15:33
Fabio
Yeah, dude, like this is ridiculous.
00:15:33
Nacc
Yeah. Yeah. And they're already in Capel. Like right now, like there's no way he goes anywhere.
00:15:36
Roger Emeka
You saw my eyes. I'm like, dude, the dead cap is two thirds of the cap, of the salary cap.
00:15:41
Fabio
Plus. Just just to go back to the. Yeah, I know it's ridiculous. good Just to go back to the Denver comparison there. Like you had. Like Russell Wilson for all intents and purposes is ah is is a lot older than Dak. And you would have to, you have to assume that he's on like the twilight of his career. I know he's having a great season so far with the Steelers. I don't want to discount that at all, but like Dak still has like years ahead of him versus what Russell had. And you know, you had Sean Payton that came in and obviously didn't like Russell Wilson. Are we going to assume that whoever the new coach is going to come in is not going to like Dak Prescott? I doubt that.
00:16:13
Fabio
for him to be like, no, screw it. Like Dak is sitting and we're going to, I want to draft my own quarterback. And, and no, it just doesn't make any sense at all.
00:16:18
Roger Emeka
Man, that's a good point.
00:16:19
Nacc
They're only four years apart. I know it seems a lot more, but they're only four, like DAX 31, Russell's 35.
00:16:28
Roger Emeka
Dak is aging very poorly. I think he's gotten beaten and bruised and a lot of the injuries are starting to show up.
00:16:36
Nacc
Yeah. And I don't know, I don't know what it, I don't know what the the protocol is on the dead cap is if it has to be split under two years, even if the contract was just signed.
00:16:36
Fabio
Yeah. It's a big end of your history.
00:16:45
Nacc
Like again, I don't, I don't know how they, how they do that. Cause I know that the Broncos. were able to split that 80 million in two years.
00:16:52
Roger Emeka
Yeah, you're right.
00:16:53
Nacc
However, they kind of how they wanted it.
00:16:55
Nacc
But I don't know if a new contract you could split it into three years or four years or duration of contract. I think maybe that's what it is. So if you assign to four years, maybe they could take the 150 and split it in four years.
00:17:07
Fabio
How many years did Russell have on his contract before he was cut?
00:17:11
Fabio
So maybe that's why it's a common, it's a, it's a, yeah.
00:17:12
Nacc
Yeah, I think that's I think that's probably what it was. But I don't I don't I'm not going to say I know 100 percent.
00:17:18
Fabio
Because I know for the Giants too, they can split the dead cap hit for Daniel Jones over two years or one if they want to.
00:17:23
Fabio
And he has two years left on his contract too. So it might be a, it might be a function of how many years are left on the contract.
00:17:27
Nacc
I think it could be the years. So you would take the amount of dead cap it would be when you trade him or let him go and then you could split it amongst.
00:17:34
Nacc
So 50 million becomes, you know, I don't know, 25 million a year, 35 million a year but they that they get to take on or, you know, 40 million one year, whatever.
00:17:45
Nacc
Anyways, I don't want to spend too much time on on on that a bit. So it was just one of those things comparing it to the Broncos. But um for me, I think they should start Trey Lance just even to see if they have a capable backup rather than Cooper Rush.
00:17:58
Fabio
ah Agree 100% on that.
Top Love Picks for Week 12
00:18:01
Nacc
Um, couple of injury notes, uh, Jake Ferguson, uh, left the game with a concussion. He's in the protocol and that McCarthy even said it'd be hard press to see him play in a week 12. So look for him to miss a game. And it came up Brock. Purdy had some soreness in his throwing shoulder. So something to monitor his day to day right now. It's not supposed to be anything serious, but, uh, maybe just something to look out, uh, look out for.
00:18:28
Nacc
And now guys, we move into our um love hate for week 12. We'll first dive into how we did in week 11. And we were 500 across the board. we Each of us went two and two.
00:18:43
Nacc
Fab, you won with Justin Herbert, who put up a nice 26.38 points. did lose two You did lose CJ Stroud, who put up just under 12 points because Mixon kind of stole the show with three rushing touchdowns. And um you did win with Darnell Mooney, 4.7 points. I know he did leave with an injury.
00:19:05
Nacc
And the big L of the week is going for the Brock Bowers hate to this week. He put up a whopping 31.3 points. And i think you I think you heard about it.
00:19:17
Fabio
I angered the tight end gods by putting rock powers as a hate. Never again. Guys match your proof, man. It's done. It's forget it. Like set set it and forget it.
00:19:26
Fabio
Rest of season, tight end one.
00:19:27
Fabio
Like don't even, yeah. Doesn't matter who's healthy, who isn't.
00:19:31
Nacc
Uh, Roger, oh you were, uh, we, uh, actually we flip flopped. We both got, uh, you both got your, your loves right. And you lost on your, uh, on your hates, uh, bonus 32.78. That was a great call at his best game, fantasy game of the season. Also lab McConkie.
00:19:48
Nacc
18.3 points. That was a massive game, especially down in the fourth quarter where he made some key catches.
00:19:56
Nacc
You did lose out to James Cook who ended up putting up 19.7 points and Austin Eckler on Thursday night that caught eight passes and put up a nice 17.6 points.
00:20:08
Roger Emeka
um I'm going to take a break from Thursday Night Football.
00:20:13
Roger Emeka
I'll take a break.
00:20:14
Fabio
We just can't get running backs right on Thursday night for balls.
00:20:15
Nacc
Yeah, it's ah it's ah it's it's been a tough one to crack for us, I think, the yeah the Thursday nights.
00:20:20
Nacc
We'll see what happens this week. And for me, I had Dawson Knox as my love. He did out performance projections, but he wasn't even, I don't think he was top 15. He finished with eight points, so I'm going to give myself an L on that one.
00:20:34
Nacc
Nick Chubb, man, he's still averaging like five yards per carry, but it's He's touchdown dependent to put up double digit points. Unfortunately, I think it's one of these guys that just stays on your bench. He's definitely not trustable as a starter right now. He put up five points, so that's I'll take an L. Lamar Jackson, ah way below his standard projections, finished with 16 points. I'm going to take a win on that.
00:21:02
Nacc
and Rico Dowdle finished with 5.4 points on Monday night. So I will take a win there. So once again, we went six for six this week. Let's see if we could do better in week 12. So let's get right into it. Let's start off with our our loves of the the week. Fab, we'll start with you. Who's your first love this week?
00:21:27
Fabio
Remondre Stevenson versus Miami. So, Mondre actually has been a sneaky RB9 in the last four weeks and has been seeing a big chunk of volume both in the rushing game, where in the three of the last four games he's had 20 carries, as well as in the passing game with a minimum of three receptions in three of the last four games as well.
00:21:44
Fabio
On top of that, since the bye week, Gibson hasn't had a game of more than five carries. So this is clearly Madre's world and we're all just living in it. He gets a really nice matchup versus the Finns in the 305. And they've been giving up the ninth most fantasy points to running backs this season. I don't expect a high scoring game, but just like their face first face off in week five, I'm expecting a low end RB one production with a good PPR floor. So you can start them with great confidence. Low key or Madre Stevenson has had like constant three
00:22:16
Fabio
Games of three receptions for receptions like he's really really utilized in the P in the PPR game and I forgot like two years ago He finished the season with six and nine receptions. So it's ah he's really giving you a good floor as far as PPR is concerned Yep,
00:22:27
Roger Emeka
I don't think it's a coincidence that four games, I think Drake may have started the last four games. Clear correlation between like, that that offense actually looks competent compared to Jacoby and and it's crazy they waited that long to to start him.
00:22:43
Nacc
Yeah. You know, and this is funny, you mentioned Jacoby's name. I know we always like, Oh, he's a good bridge. He's a good bridge. I think he's not a good quarterback, man. I just don't, I don't see it and not exactly.
00:22:53
Roger Emeka
Not anymore, not anymore.
00:22:54
Nacc
Like I just, you know, people keep saying it bridge, bridge, bridge. And I'm like, from what I saw this year, that that was like very, very bad. And yeah, Drake may looks above and beyond what Jacoby
00:23:05
Fabio
He looks great, man.
00:23:06
Nacc
was that, yeah, he does look good. And, and you know what though, I could definitely appreciate the fact that they knew their offensive line was bad to start the year.
00:23:07
Roger Emeka
The very men.
00:23:13
Nacc
They didn't want to kill this rookie. They knew all along. I have to believe they knew all along. He was going to come in after six, seven games and, and, and start the rest of the way, get this little, the line settled, get them, you know, let them see what a pro how a pro gets ready for game day and stuff like that.
00:23:29
Nacc
Like I definitely do appreciate how they did that. But yeah, it looks like they got a good one there in New England in Drake, May, for sure.
00:23:40
Nacc
Who else do you love this week, Fab?
00:23:42
Fabio
Marvin Harrison Jr. at Seattle. ah Seahawks D are really not what they used to be. They've surrendered multiple TD passes in five of the last seven games and 230 passing yards or more in six of the last seven games. So while they're giving up the 12 most fantasy points of wide receivers in 2024, like other X type receivers have already done, I think Marvin Harrison Jr. can body his way into a legit wide receiver one performance.
00:24:05
Fabio
Just last week, Juwan Jennings tortured for 25 points. Cup into Marcus Robinson combined for 50 a week before that. And even Keon Coleman and Kalosha Kir put up 20 points each in week eight. It's been a season of ups and downs for Marvin Anderson Jr. But I think he continues a solid form prior to the buy. And it really turns it on for the rest of the season. Because the rest of the season for his schedule is actually quite soft. So if you have him in your lineup, so you can probably want to start him. For this week though, he's a wide receiver, one upside matchup for me.
00:24:35
Fabio
These, uh, you should be coming along towards the second half of the season.
00:24:36
Roger Emeka
It's a big game.
00:24:38
Roger Emeka
This is a huge game.
00:24:39
Roger Emeka
I'm really looking forward to this one.
00:24:39
Nacc
That division is really something this year.
00:24:44
Nacc
I i definitely agree. It looks like ah looks like a solid solid matchup. Hopefully, Kyler Murray didn't play too many video games on buy. yeah
00:24:54
Fabio
So I actually saw that.
00:24:54
Roger Emeka
ah Poor guy. He's never going to let that go.
00:24:55
Fabio
hold Hold on a second. Hold on a second.
00:24:56
Roger Emeka
He's never going to get rid of that.
00:24:59
Fabio
His record after Call of Duty came out is like fantastic.
00:25:03
Nacc
They've won four straight.
00:25:04
Fabio
he's Yeah, exactly. He's like, he's four and oh.
00:25:05
Nacc
Well, I don't think it's since the game came out, but they have one for straight right now.
00:25:09
Fabio
No, I saw it online.
00:25:10
Nacc
I gave them their flowers a couple weeks ago, man.
00:25:10
Fabio
I think it sits again with without like, it's a, he's good.
00:25:12
Nacc
It's time to respect the Cardinals.
00:25:13
Fabio
He's, he's playing better.
00:25:14
Roger Emeka
The defense especially.
00:25:16
Fabio
Defense has been very good as of late.
00:25:18
Fabio
It's a sneaky streamer for playoff schedule.
00:25:20
Roger Emeka
Yes, totally.
00:25:22
Nacc
I definitely agree. I definitely agree. ah Raj, I'm excited to hear your first love of the week.
00:25:30
Roger Emeka
I have Tommy DeVito versus the Bucks.
00:25:31
Nacc
Hey. e we Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:25:34
Fabio
ah that's That's cultural appropriation.
00:25:36
Nacc
Put some respect on his name. It's Tommy Cutlets.
00:25:39
Roger Emeka
I'm coming with the Tommy Cutlets.
00:25:39
Fabio
That's cultural appropriation.
00:25:41
Roger Emeka
Our national nightmare is finally over. Daniel Jones will never don the Giants jersey again. And the aforementioned Tommy Cutlets is back. Therefore, we'll be picking on the Bucks again.
00:25:53
Roger Emeka
It's always the same story with the Bucks. Worst pass defense. Most fantasy points allowed to QBs in the last four games. I put four years in my notes. Last four games. Seven most fantasy points allowed to receivers.
00:26:03
Fabio
We've been talking about them for four years.
00:26:04
Roger Emeka
So the matchup is there. Can we trust Tommy DeVito? In eight full starts last year, he averaged 14 fantasy points per game. And he had two breakout games, one against the commanders. We had 22 fantasy points and three TDs and the Packers on Monday night for 18 fantasy points and 71 rushing yards. That was the game where they panned to his family and Sean Stiles, literally every single play. So I'm so happy he's back.
00:26:29
Roger Emeka
He's a good athlete, one-read QB, so if he doesn't see what he likes, he'll pull it down and run unlike Daniel Jones, and that will raise his floor against this brutal Bucks defense. I really think that's like a key thing with him. like He can't read defenses, so it's just one-read, he'll run. And that's how Daniel Jones should have played, because he can't see the field.
00:26:50
Nacc
I think I had him last year for one of those games when he when he played one of those games. I think I had him in my lineup, if I'm not mistaken, last year. Tommy Cutlets.
00:27:02
Nacc
Yeah, look, man, um I think we I think we spoke about it a bit like in in our in our last episode about he was on the wire, go grab him and and whatnot.
00:27:03
Roger Emeka
It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be fun, man.
00:27:04
Fabio
Yeah, it's going to be fun.
00:27:04
Roger Emeka
It's gonna be fun.
00:27:14
Nacc
I'm not overly excited um if this is the game to start him. I mean, if there is a game to start him, should I say this is the one, um like you said, that the Bucks have the worst ah defense in in the league and um this would be a good, good opportunity for him to to get going.
00:27:33
Fabio
I just hope that that one read that Rogers talking about is always going to be Malik neighbors early and often.
00:27:37
Nacc
neighbors yeah that's where i think that's where i disagree but and i'm hoping i'm hoping his first read is not neighbors um i play fab this week huge game i know he already won and everything but
00:27:39
Fabio
And that's it because he neighbors has been getting peppered with targets the whole time, but like the ball hasn't been thrown all that well. Um, I want to say Tommy can probably place it better than Daniel Jones. We're going to find out, I guess, but yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be interesting to watch.
00:27:54
Fabio
Yeah. Well, I mean, Yeah, whatever.
00:28:00
Roger Emeka
Ooh, big game. Big, big, big game.
00:28:04
Roger Emeka
Didn't he win already? Exactly. He already won.
00:28:06
Nacc
Yeah, he already won the league already, but.
00:28:06
Fabio
I won the league guys.
00:28:07
Roger Emeka
He already won.
00:28:07
Fabio
NAC, where's the trophy? Just give me the trophy.
00:28:09
Nacc
Yeah, it's right, right there, right, right there.
00:28:09
Fabio
FedEx it to my house, please. Can a post is, uh, can a post is done. You got to send FedEx priority mail.
00:28:15
Nacc
I don't know, I'm just going to drive with your house.
00:28:16
Nacc
It's going to be easier.
00:28:16
Roger Emeka
There's another trophy here that you could win.
00:28:17
Fabio
Even better. That's another trophy though.
00:28:19
Nacc
and When no one cares about the other league.
00:28:23
Nacc
ah ah Fab, who else do you love? Who else do you love this week?
00:28:27
Roger Emeka
You mean Raj? ah
00:28:28
Nacc
Or Raj, excuse me. Yeah, we've we've had enough of that.
00:28:30
Roger Emeka
playing mind game playing mind games at fab.
00:28:31
Fabio
NAC, NAC, I'm living rent free in your head, bro.
00:28:33
Fabio
Living rent free in your head.
00:28:35
Roger Emeka
Exactly. um I do like DJ Moore versus the Vikings this week. So DJ Moore had his first double digit fantasy outing last week since week five against Carolina.
00:28:46
Nacc
Yeah it's been brutal.
00:28:47
Roger Emeka
And he was finally deployed the right way. Short screen passes at the line of scrimmage, eight yards after catch per reception. Caleb played on time and on schedule. And I think this is the right way for the new offensive coordinator, Thomas Brown, to call plays for Caleb, to get him to play faster and get the ball out quickly.
00:29:05
Roger Emeka
Moore is an electric player, as we all know, with the ball in his hands. And they face a Vikings defense that blitzes the most out of any defense in the league. And that was the fifth most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. And obviously the best way to beat the blitz, leveraging the quick passing game, I think DJ Moore can be heavily utilized in underneath routes. So I really like him to kind of get back into the kind of WR3 conversation from here on out. And I think it starts against the Vikings.
00:29:34
Nacc
I know they lost, but the the offense looked much more organized and it looked much better, right?
00:29:40
Nacc
Like it looked like they knew what they were doing. And I think you hit the nail right on the head is is have him play faster.
00:29:47
Nacc
I think Caleb um ranks highest um for holding the ball too long and in and um time to throw.
00:29:54
Roger Emeka
Time to throw 100, it's like 3.35 seconds.
00:29:56
Nacc
Yeah, I think he's one, he's he's definitely, I think in the top five, I don't remember where exactly he falls, but
00:30:03
Nacc
doing this and having receivers who can make plays after the catch. I think I i definitely agree with you there.
George Pickens' Performance with Russell Wilson
00:30:09
Nacc
and And it did look a little bit better this week even despite the loss.
00:30:11
Roger Emeka
Yeah, you have to help your QB play fast. And it's funny because i I think I kind of crapped on Jayden Daniels at the start of the year saying, Oh, well, it doesn't look great.
00:30:21
Roger Emeka
It's just like literally, you know, one second time to throw, but that's how you get your QB to have confidence, get them to play faster so that then you start opening up the playbook for them so that they can start to actually take their time and throw downfield.
00:30:33
Roger Emeka
So I think that's the formula. Let's see if they keep it.
00:30:36
Nacc
Yeah. That was the other thing they were saying is that they had, they didn't have the playbook wasn't fully open for him because obviously was, was struggling. But with, with this, like you alluded to is, is going to open up the, the playbooks for, for more dynamic plays for sure.
00:30:53
Nacc
ah My first love of the week guys is Josh Downs versus the Lions. So there were doubts about Josh Downs after Anthony Richardson took back the starting role. He did see about half the targets. So that was a bit concerning. He only saw five targets, targets but he caught all five of them.
00:31:10
Nacc
for 84 yards and scored a touchdown for 19.4 points. and He's still on the field for 70% of the snaps and he's a player that can produce even with less targets. He gets a tough Lions defense this week in in in week 12, but they're giving up the fourth most points to wide receivers.
00:31:30
Nacc
ah teams have been teams have had to be one-dimensional against the Lions especially in the second half as they've been blowing out their their opposition so I think that's where the number gets a bit skewed ah so the game could be very similar with with that I think they're gonna but probably give the Anthony Richardson some some problems but I think like you said with DJ Moore the short short passes short crossing routes short he plays a lot on the slot right so I think that could benefit and and get a lot of points in garbage time for Josh Downs.
00:32:02
Roger Emeka
You know, the Lions play the fifth most man coverage in the league and Josh sounds a pretty good man beater. So I think I agree with this. I think this could be a really great spot for him. And we know Anthony Richardson, if he could get man on man coverage, he could beat guys down the field. So I think Alec Pierce could be an interesting one as well in in this matchup.
00:32:27
Nacc
And my last love for, or second second or last love, probably however you wanna look at it. is going to be George Pickens at the Browns Thursday night football. I don't think anyone has benefited more from Russell Wilson taking over as a starter than George Pickens. He's currently wide receiver seven in the last four weeks played. He saw a season high in targets with 12 in week 11 as well, turned that into eight receptions, 89 yards and 17 fantasy points.
00:32:58
Nacc
So with a quick turnaround playing on on Thursday night, the Steelers will face another division opponent in the Browns who are giving up the eighth most points to wide receivers. And similar to the Ravens, the Browns are stout against the run. So the Steelers will likely have to lean more on the passing game. So I see Pickens having another solid outing on Thursday night football.
00:33:20
Fabio
Yeah, I think he's gonna have to make up for not hitting pay dirt against against the Ravens last week. I think he's I think he's good for a touchdown on Thursday night.
00:33:30
Fabio
Yeah, no, I agree with the scope.
00:33:31
Nacc
I definitely, I definitely, I definitely hope so.
00:33:33
Fabio
That could also be like reverse quarter neutral. You don't even know Nick.
00:33:42
Fabio
I have to figure out what's more
00:33:42
Nacc
He'll be fine. I was actually surprised to see him fourth in the league in receiving yards. I was actually, I didn't, I didn't think it was, he was that high.
00:33:49
Fabio
Well, it doesn't um doesn't surprise me though.
00:33:52
Fabio
Like the touchdown, like he's only had two touchdowns on the year and I think both of them came from Russell Wilson.
00:33:55
Fabio
So that's something that's a bit of a concern, but you figure like how many games has Russell played right now? Like six?
00:34:01
Fabio
Four? So it's two out of four, right? That's 50% of games. That's pretty good. it's he's He's benefited the most by far and and it shows because he's always been a talent and now he's actually getting balls probably thrown his way and Russell Wilson can throw can thrill I can still throw that moon ball, right?
00:34:19
Fabio
So now it makes sense Wait watch out now watch out now
00:34:20
Roger Emeka
But Naac, don't you find this offense is very boomer bust? It's either check down or touchdown. There's no in between.
00:34:27
Nacc
It's um well, actually, he was actually utilizing he was utilizing the tight ends a lot. I made two two great throws ah across the middle to Washington.
00:34:37
Nacc
It wasn't even fire. It was the big Titan out of Georgia.
00:34:43
Nacc
Yeah, exactly. The offensive lineman, six foot that's six, six foot nine to 270 or something, something like that.
00:34:44
Roger Emeka
massive. Yeah, yeah.
00:34:50
Nacc
He's he's huge. Big boy.
00:34:52
Nacc
ah but he made some some nice plays to those guys. But yeah, I do tend to agree. There's some short passes in there, but I feel like those plays always get blown up most of the time, so they don't go for big gains. And um yeah, there is there is definitely a lot of boomer busts in that offense. So I think it's something they have to clean up for sure heading into the playoffs, but I definitely don't disagree.
00:35:17
Nacc
Uh, so that was our loves for the, uh, for week 12. Uh, let's get into the players we hate fab. Let's start with you. Who do you, uh, who's your first hate of the week?
00:35:27
Fabio
Matthew Stafford versus Philly on Sunday Night Football. So Stafford is a fresh off his four TD outing versus the Pats where he scored a masterful 32 points. But he's up against Philly past D who are giving up the fourth fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and have only surrendered two passing touchdowns since they're by in week five.
00:35:45
Fabio
On top of that, the Eagles are the number two ranked past defense, giving up 173 yards per game. PFF has them rated first in defensive coverage and overall defense. And don't forget about their stud rookie corner, Quentin Mitchell, who has faced and shut down the likes of Drake London, Olave, Evans, Cooper, Neighbors, Chase, Lam, and McLaurin. If I'm not mistaken, none of those guys got more than 20 receiving yards in their game.
00:36:14
Fabio
There's a bit of Doral Riva silent stuff right there. Roger. Hold your comments. But Stafford is a staffer right now is, is. Yeah. He's a writing my bench in week 12.
00:36:22
Nacc
He's, he's, he's cocking it.
00:36:24
Fabio
I think I'd honestly, I think I'd rather start DeVito than Stafford this week. I think the veto has a better chance to do it.
00:36:29
Roger Emeka
yeah yeah yeah the
00:36:30
Fabio
This is is not a Philly defense is
Philadelphia Defense's Impact this Season
00:36:32
Fabio
Like that they're good.
00:36:34
Roger Emeka
couldn't come um Put some respect on his name. It's Quinnion, not Quintong. That's what I was going to say.
00:36:40
Fabio
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought there was, it I thought it was a T not a Y.
00:36:42
Roger Emeka
Put some respect on his name, brother.
00:36:47
Roger Emeka
I didn't want to mess up i didn't want to mess up the clippable ah take.
00:36:52
Roger Emeka
so Quinnion, you're so bad with names, dude.
00:36:54
Fabio
Quineon Mitchell. Apologies.
00:36:56
Roger Emeka
I never know if you're doing it on purpose or not.
00:36:58
Roger Emeka
That one sounded like it was not on purpose.
00:36:59
Nacc
That one definitely was genuine.
00:37:00
Fabio
That was, I, I, I, that was a spelling mistake and I apologize.
00:37:01
Roger Emeka
Yeah, it was great.
00:37:07
Fabio
Yeah. Philly D or legit. yeah It's.
00:37:10
Fabio
They got, they have a good defensive line to begin with and then they drafted solid corner backs.
00:37:14
Fabio
And it's like, you know what? It's at all levels they're solid and it's frustrating, but yeah, Cooper DeGene as well.
00:37:24
Nacc
He looks good. He looks really good, too.
00:37:25
Fabio
He does look good, but Quinnan Mitchell, like shutting down legit, legit wire receiver ones.
00:37:32
Fabio
Like, I know it's not comparable to Darryl Rivas in the sense that these guys are not all hall of famers. Like he did in that, uh, Roger remind me of that season that the Rivas shut down everybody there.
00:37:43
Roger Emeka
2003, 2001, one of those.
00:37:45
Fabio
Yeah. Whereas like Randy Moss and Chad Johnson and all those guys still though, this is super impressive for a rookie.
00:37:51
Roger Emeka
Very comparable.
00:37:53
Roger Emeka
All of Famers to Drake London and Hospital Ball, Chris Olafey.
00:37:59
Fabio
Oh, would you will you stop it?
00:38:04
Roger Emeka
Yeah, neighbors.
00:38:07
Fabio
Oh, wow. He's your boy, man.
00:38:09
Roger Emeka
it's it's been but but it's been a good It's been a good year for Riley Moss, too, has been a pretty interesting year for for White Cornerbacks.
00:38:09
Nacc
Oh, man, don't start.
00:38:17
Roger Emeka
You mentioned it, Knack, not me. But but two two two players who have played really well. Both Iowa boys, too.
00:38:23
Roger Emeka
Both guys who went to Iowa. Sort of something that's cooking there, up there. in
00:38:26
Nacc
Well, yeah, it seems like they would have gone to Iowa. ah Let's move on. Who's your second hate for the week? yeah fine
00:38:36
Fabio
Uh, Chuba Hubbard. I got his name right. Uh, Chuba Hubbard versus Kansas city. Uh, yes. James cook last week did have a two touchdown game versus Kansas city. Yes. He gave Roger an L in the hate column for week 11. But Chuba doesn't play with Josh Allen with a Josh Allen led offense. And unless we forget cook went nine for 20. So not exactly nine rushes for 20 yards, not exactly a stellar yards per carry performance.
00:39:02
Fabio
KC are still giving up the least amount of fantasy points to opposing running backs. Still surrendering only 85 rushing yards per game and 3.6 yards per carry. Still a top five rated rush D.
00:39:13
Fabio
And apparently Jonathan Brooks is is expected to get some reps this week. Again, don't expect a whole lot, but still it's something to factor in. Chuba's a big fave for me in week 12.
00:39:24
Fabio
He's barely a flex play and he's also a borderline bench.
00:39:30
Nacc
Whoa. Them fighting words.
00:39:30
Roger Emeka
That's 85 yards per all the running backs per game, not just one running back.
00:39:35
Roger Emeka
like That's crazy.
00:39:36
Roger Emeka
No, no, I know you guys know.
00:39:37
Nacc
Yeah, that's under 100 yards.
00:39:38
Roger Emeka
just like just Yeah, it's like it's crazy, crazy, crazy.
00:39:41
Nacc
Under 100 yards is is is insane.
00:39:43
Fabio
You look at, you look at the starting running backs that have played against Kansas city and like the top one, the top, like Jordan Mason has the highest yards in his game.
00:39:54
Nacc
Yeah, it's pretty wild.
00:39:56
Fabio
Mike, they're, they're very good.
00:39:57
Fabio
They're very, that's why it's nine for 20 for cook is really not something to be proud of. He got in the end zone twice. Yeah. Saved his fantasy performance for sure. But, uh, also the offense is completely different than you wouldn't be surprised if also Casey gets ahead early.
00:40:11
Fabio
You know, uh, Carolina have to change their game script. Gonna force, uh, Bryce young to beat them. Could be a very tough outing for Chuba. Well, at least I think so.
00:40:21
Nacc
It could be a tough outing for Carolina and in general, especially coming off a loss.
00:40:26
Nacc
They're going to be yeah I think my homes and core are going to be upset.
00:40:29
Nacc
ah Raj, what about you? Who do you hate this week?
00:40:32
Roger Emeka
I have Kyron Williams versus the Eagles in Sunday Night Football.
00:40:35
Nacc
Oh, now we're coming out firing guys.
00:40:36
Roger Emeka
So the, well, I've been a bit choosing some like lesser known players. So I try to get a ah big face here.
00:40:47
Roger Emeka
So, but yeah, I don't like the matchup for Kyron Williams versus the Eagles. So the Kyron Williams revenge tour was on fire in the first seven games of the season. He was healthy, looked great and was averaging 20 fantasy points per game.
00:40:59
Roger Emeka
But over the last three games since Cooper and ah cooper Cup and Pukanakua have been back at full swing, he's averaged only 12 fantasy points per game and only six receptions in those three games. The Eagles have the best-run defense in the league behind the Chiefs, and I expect Kyron to struggle this week and to not get burned again. I expect not to get burned again like I did with Ekler versus the Eagles last week, so we shall see. But a very tough tough matchup in a big game between the Rams and the Eagles.
00:41:31
Nacc
Interesting. a Only 12 points per game since they've been back. Interesting.
00:41:36
Roger Emeka
What I think is, so when Cup and Puka were out, they were using a lot of 12 personnel. So one tight end, one running back two tight ends.
00:41:47
Roger Emeka
And I think like once their base, their base offense is three, three wide receivers. So they might be having a harder time ah getting the ball, running the ball with, without the heavy package.
00:41:56
Fabio
he he's never been an overly efficient running back. I think last year, like his yards per carry was just at four, which is very good. But for the amount of volume that he had, you expect a bit more of a bit better efficiency. So I can see him struggling. And also like the drop off between his production, and when Puka and cup started playing, like it's, it's immediate, like you see it right away, you know, like there's, it's, I think this is a great call.
00:42:24
Nacc
Yeah, I agree. What about your second hate for the week?
00:42:28
Roger Emeka
Second half of the week is Jalen Waddle versus the Patriots. I think we all agree it's been a difficult season for dolphins wide receivers dealing with the Tua injury. And even when Tua has been back, John o Smith and Devon H.N. have been revelations as pass catchers.
00:42:45
Roger Emeka
And while Tiger kill has benefited from Tua's return, Waddle meanwhile has only had one game above the double digit fantasy points in the season and is averaging 7.6 fantasy points per game in his past four games since Tua's return. Plessy faces a Patriots team that plays the second most man coverage in the league at 40%. And Waddle only has 0.32 fantasy points per route run versus man defense.
00:43:15
Roger Emeka
So that's 62 routes he's run.
00:43:17
Roger Emeka
Nine catches, 102 yards. That's pretty bad efficiency. It's basically taking him like three games to get, to get to that mark just against man coverage.
00:43:26
Nacc
Yeah, that's brutal.
00:43:27
Roger Emeka
So, uh, Waddle is no Nakua. He's no cup. So it's a big time hate for, for me as a guy, uh, regular, relegated to the fourth option on the team.
00:43:37
Nacc
You think they have a little buyer's remorse and Like they went trigger happy and giving him that huge deal. You think it's coming back to bite them a little bit, but now both wide receivers making the money they are.
00:43:51
Roger Emeka
So I think McDaniel dirr deserves actually a bit of credit with the way he's changed the offense. Because last year it was throw it deep, you know utilize the wide receivers. Then this year, two was hurt, not sure what to do. And I think think teams figured them out a little bit with like two safeties. And I think he's ah finally adjusted by designing an offense that's more geared towards the running backs and the tight ends. so I think they're, maybe they're looking, maybe at some point they're gonna have to readjust that and get Waddle more involved.
00:44:25
Roger Emeka
But where he's even seen with, with Tyree Kill, the stats aren't amazing for Tyree Kill either. They're really focusing on running the football and getting it to the backs and tight ends.
00:44:34
Roger Emeka
So I think, I think McDaniel has finally made adjustments, which is something we're looking forward to him to do.
00:44:40
Fabio
Do you guys know where waddle ranks on the season amongst wide receivers?
00:44:47
Nacc
I think like, yeah, for sure.
00:44:48
Fabio
58 58 like can is he if he must be one of if not the biggest fantasy bust of 2024 especially considering he was drafted like in probably in the second round in some cases for some leagues like
00:44:59
Roger Emeka
well I I hate on I've never owned him and I he's like he's just something about I don't like owning him oh yeah
00:45:01
Nacc
Well, I don't know about second, but.
00:45:03
Fabio
And some leagues, some leagues like, like one QB leagues, he was probably going like towards the end of the second, beginning of the third, I think.
00:45:07
Nacc
I think you went was it in the fourth or fifth round in our league, I drafted him in our league for the fifth round.
00:45:18
Nacc
It will be, yeah, it'll be the last one for me.
00:45:20
Nacc
I've traded him in both years though. That's what's funny. I've actually traded him. I drafted him two years in a row and I've traded him two years in a row. I'm so much happier with Josh Downs. Thank you, Robbie. Um, thanks, um, Raj.
00:45:33
Nacc
I definitely, I definitely agree with that. Uh, he's, he does look like probably the fourth or fifth option right now in that offense. So definitely, uh, definitely a favor for me as well.
Derrick Henry's Challenges Against Chargers
00:45:43
Nacc
Um, so for my first hey of the week, I'm looking to go, uh, three for three on my bold, my bold hates. I'm taking Derek Henry at the chargers Monday night football. Uh, this might be the toughest, um, the toughest yet, but hear me out.
00:46:01
Nacc
Uh, his fantasy output has declined in the last three weeks. He went from 26 points to 14 points to 10.5 points against his dealers last week. The last two games were saved by scoring a TD. Uh, and he only played 49% of the snaps in week 11 first Pittsburgh.
00:46:17
Nacc
He now has to travel to l LA to face a Chargers team giving up the third fewest points to running backs. The Ravens will likely again have to be more pass heavy to keep up with the surging Chargers offense and the Ravens suspect deep. So Baltimore doesn't do well when Lamar Jackson has more pass attempts than Henry has rushing attempts. And last week Lamar had 33 and Henry only had 13.
00:46:43
Nacc
So I will also bet that he does not find the end zone for the first time all season.
00:46:51
Fabio
So since they're a week five by the chargers have only allowed four running backs to hit double digit fantasy points. What do they all have in common? PPR points. Henry, I think he's averaging like one catch a game this year. So I, this, this is a very ball as you call, but it makes a lot of sense. And, uh, Robbie, if you're listening, we don't apologize. Um, I think, uh, I, I, yeah, this is a solid hate for dark for Derek Henry this week.
00:47:23
Roger Emeka
if i could just play devils eye
00:47:23
Nacc
He can score. He can score in all the games, right? Like.
00:47:29
Roger Emeka
if If I could just play devil's advocate, this like the hard ball versus hard ball, like they're, they're gonna buy like great, great for them, but great on them for putting on Monday Night Football.
00:47:37
Fabio
It's the hard ball.
00:47:39
Nacc
It's great, man, what a Monday night football game that we're going to watch, man.
00:47:40
Fabio
It's the hard ball. Yeah. Yeah.
00:47:47
Roger Emeka
But don't you just feel it's like league winner versus league winner? running back versus running back. JK Dopins versus Derrick Henry.
00:47:55
Nacc
Dobbins Dobbins versus.
00:47:57
Fabio
I was, I was wondering who the other league winner is for a second.
00:47:59
Roger Emeka
Like, I know, but this just feels like a, like, let's, Hey Jim, Hey John, let's just run the football all day long.
00:47:59
Nacc
ah Both are both are run these are solid, man, like I don't see each of them having a good game.
00:48:07
Fabio
Can we put a pin on JK Dabbas being a league winner?
00:48:11
Roger Emeka
Let's see who could win it up front.
00:48:16
Nacc
And just bang, bang, bang, like rock and sock and style, like back and forth.
00:48:17
Roger Emeka
like that's honestly like yeah honestly legit man like I could see it but it's it's a great call back either way like it could it could like hey two for two men will free three for three
00:48:30
Nacc
let's see Let's see if I go three for three on the on the bold ones.
00:48:33
Nacc
And my last hate for the week quickly is going to be ah Jaden Reed versus the 49ers.
Jaden Reed vs. 49ers Defense
00:48:39
Nacc
Green Bay offense is really hard to predict this year. I suspect it's very frustrating being an owner of these wide receivers.
00:48:47
Nacc
ah Last week Jaden saw 57% of the snaps and started hot with a TD on the opening drive, but he was quiet for the rest of the game, seeing only two total targets all game long.
00:48:58
Nacc
Josh Jacobs actually led the team with five, which is a little bit troublesome. But with Christian Watson back healthy, he saw 67% of the snap and outperformed him by a mile.
00:49:09
Nacc
I think he went for 150 yards on on five or six catches. And so I think the struggles continue for Reid as he gets to 49ers leading up the 11th fewest points to wide receivers.
00:49:21
Nacc
And Jordan Love, ah correct me if I'm wrong, but he looks off and only attempted 17 passes in week 11.
00:49:29
Roger Emeka
Gate does look off. Yeah, he's playing dumb.
00:49:31
Fabio
it does look off. I agree.
00:49:35
Nacc
Yeah, I don't know, something, something, something, something's weird.
00:49:36
Roger Emeka
He's he's playing dumb.
00:49:38
Nacc
Something's definitely, definitely weird. So that'll do it guys for our love hates for the week. Before we go though, we have a couple of questions that we got on TikTok that we'd like to answer quickly.
00:49:54
Nacc
So Jay from TikTok wants to know if he should start Earth's craft or Disney this week. I'll give Fab first crack at this one.
Viewer Questions on Player Picks
00:50:04
Fabio
Out of those three, I will go this Lee, uh, earths is earths is nice. I'm gonna be wrong. Like he, he, he's a little bit too inconsistent though. And Tucker craft, like I'll take a page out of your book and act with the whole green Bay offense thing.
00:50:16
Fabio
You don't know what to expect. And last week, Tucker k craft had zero targets. Like I don't get it. I don't understand. It's frustrating as a yeah, that's it's feast or famine in that offense.
00:50:23
Nacc
It's a weird offense, man. It's weird. They're just, it's weird.
00:50:27
Fabio
You don't know who's going to feast at any other week, even though craft like was, he's very TD dependent. He had a string of four games where he would score a touchdown on every single game. But apart from that, like he's not getting a lot of targets. So this Lee, at least for the most part, he's been, he's been getting targets. He finally hit pay dirt last week. I think going forward, he's a much larger part of the offense. I've been hearing a lot of and guys on podcasts talk about how like this Lee could be ah a sleeper tight end for the end of the season. Uh, seems to be that way right now. So I would definitely start disley over those two guys. I wouldn't even think twice.
00:51:01
Nacc
Yeah, i think I think I'm going to agree.
00:51:04
Nacc
Urts is too volatile for me, as you mentioned, with Kraft. It's just, it's, when greet me offense, it's really hard to trust and Disli looking good in that Chargers ah offense right now.
00:51:17
Nacc
um Jay also wants to know if you should play Quinton Johnson or Jerry Judy in his flex. What say you, Raj?
00:51:26
Roger Emeka
Quentin Johnson pretty easily. Raven's defense is a disaster. And I don't trust drew Jerry Judy against the Steelers this week in Thursday night football to me.
00:51:37
Roger Emeka
This is really easy. I would go with Quentin Johnson. <unk> I'm assuming this must be a deep league if he asked has to factor it in starting Quentin Johnson in flex.
00:51:43
Nacc
Well, there's six pies.
00:51:46
Fabio
Yeah, and this is his flex, so.
00:51:49
Nacc
Yeah, it's in his flex. And yeah, I tend to agree. I don't think Jerry Judy goes off two weeks in a row either. That's that's hard to trust. But yeah, he does get a tough matchup with the Steelers on Thursday night.
00:52:01
Nacc
ah Tyler Shada, or Shada, hopefully I'm saying that correctly, as well on TikTok, has as to start, too, between Tillman, Quinton Johnson, I'm assuming this is Amari Cooper, and DJ Moore. What, too, would you start?
00:52:19
Fabio
Well, again, Tillman versus the Steelers. I really don't want to start any Browns wide receivers this week, unless I have to. Uh, Quinton Johnson. Yeah. Uh, big proponent of that matchup and also DJ Moore since he made our love list.
00:52:30
Fabio
I'm slightly biased, but also I believe Amari Cooper's on by this week.
00:52:35
Nacc
Yeah. That's what that answer. Yeah. I think this one was a, this one was a pretty easy one.
00:52:40
Nacc
Quinton Johnson and DJ more for sure. Uh, and last question comes.
00:52:43
Roger Emeka
no he wonder he's talking I wonder he's talking about. him there any Is there another Amari?
00:52:49
Nacc
Amari. I'm trying to feel like who's the last name Amari.
00:52:57
Fabio
Anyway, regardless, it's going to be QJ and it's Quinton Johnson and DJ more anyways.
00:53:01
Nacc
Yeah. Yeah, I would add that definitely the two starts for me for sure. And also the final question comes in from daily uploaded clips is going to drop pits and wondering if you should pick up and wondering if you should pick up this Lee or hurts.
00:53:22
Nacc
So I think think things will answer it for itself.
00:53:25
Nacc
We were we were high on Disli, the first question.
00:53:28
Nacc
So yes, Disli is the this leaves the right answer.
00:53:31
Fabio
Well, if, if we're asking Raj, we're dropping pits for a bag of chips.
00:53:31
Nacc
and And we are giving up on pits. This is this is this is it.
00:53:36
Roger Emeka
Guys, I'm giving up on Kirk Cousins.
00:53:37
Fabio
So it doesn't really matter who you're picking up.
00:53:39
Roger Emeka
Like, I'm giving up on Kirk Cousins.
00:53:39
Fabio
Yeah, that that's, that's legit. That's actually factual.
00:53:42
Nacc
That's very fair. That's fair.
00:53:45
Nacc
It's true. And end they're on by this week. So that's probably why he wants to he wants to drop them.
Podcast Conclusion and Humorous Sign-off

00:54:27
Roger Emeka
ah certainly Because was amazing.
00:54:29
Fabio
I mean, I mean, I mean, i perhaps it's, there's a very strong demographic that exists in Iowa.
00:54:30
Roger Emeka
It was a great one. Because it's probably true.
00:54:35
Roger Emeka
It's probably very true.
00:54:36
Nacc
Well, where else would they have gone, right?
00:54:41
Roger Emeka
Oh, there sure is.
00:54:41
Nacc
Isn't that where stats going?
00:54:44
Fabio
Yeah. that Then that makes sense.
00:54:46
Roger Emeka
The state. Yeah. Oh, my God.
00:54:49
Roger Emeka
i mean but You mean
00:54:57
Nacc
See you next week, guys.
00:54:59
Roger Emeka
Lucas would make more sense to go now. Bye guys!
