Things were were going well for a while. The group was really cool. We we had some good chemistry with them. We got to talk. um it was It was very fun. Well then it started like going somewhere. um where Where it would have gone, I don't know. But it it just felt like everything started clicking. right The group had chemistry. We were all getting along pretty well.

and we started holding these, you know, weekly meetings where we were trying to discuss like, well, what do we do to take this to the next level? What do we, you know, we have a good, you know, a thing here. Everybody's reviewing cool stuff. We're doing books. We're doing, you know, horror movies, horror shows, the newest fucking everything you could think of, you know, um everything was always covered on there, you know. So we we had a good following. We grew by like 50,000 followers in the time that I was there.

and And by no means am I taking any kind of credit for that because that's simply not true There were so many good writers on there far better than me um and and more contributors but ah You know, we started getting monetized which was cool, you know that we we we had enough of the following and in enough weekly or daily engagement that ah Facebook was giving us money right Nobody else, Facebook, was like, here, you guys are, you guys have enough traffic that we're just gonna pay you to just keep doing the same shit you're doing anyway. And it was really cool, it was like, shit, so we started talking about, you know well, what are we gonna do, how do we get this to the, where do we take this? you know We wanted to start trying to figure out a way to get to you know horror cons and and things like that, and and really just, you know it was all about like everybody kinda had each other's backs in promoting this brand and each other's brand. right

I wake up one night and I look at my phone and one of the guys had messaged me and said, hey man, I don't know what happened but you got kicked out of the group. And I was like, interesting. And I didn't believe it at first. I had to really read this text to like, what the fuck happened? We were totally blindsided. Austin and I had just been kicked out of the group for no reason. And I invested I mean, that was we were barely you know a year, not even a year. Yeah, maybe a little over a year. I can't remember the timing of it. But regardless, um you know we had invested you know ah enough time into that in in you know weeks and hours and months and all that other shit. And it finally started you know to feel like it it was really heading in in a good direction. And for that to just be taken away

So, uh, once the game begins, Alex, her new groom or husband is locked in a room. Uh, but that doesn't last very long because he sneaks out through one of the hidden servants corridors to help his new bride.

You know that that's a pretty good fucking costume honestly um But luckily for grace the moment She encounters a family member the first time ah They miss right because they have these fucking shitty weapons and she has a chance to escape until she runs into Daniel this is the one that she thinks ah has a crush on her and all that other stuff and he's kind of the disappointment of the family you know he plays that that role very well that oh woe is me dad likes whatever more and never liked me that much blah blah blah and he gives her a rather generous head start to run away which she does and um he alerts the family and the very dysfunctional family you know kind of gathers and they they talk shit and they try to regroup

Grace is pinned down in the kitchen with the singing butler and she goes to make her move only to realize that the gun and ammunition doesn't work.

Whatever man. I'm over. it I'm over it. I'm over it um She's on the run now But now the family's pissed right? They're like fuck. She might get away. We might actually be in trouble with here. I down on trying to find her they get old burnt face serving to track her down and he does but in true Final girl style she chokes mountain steals a car, but ah obviously that happy ending um You know doesn't doesn't end you know ah and well wait what doesn't end long That's what my fucking notes say the happy ending how much beer was I drinking while I was taking fucking a

uh notes here the happy ending doesn't last long there we go um because the car is shut down that scene's actually really funny where she's bitching with the guy on like whatever navigation system and he's like yeah this is stolen though so i gotta shut the car down and then she's shot by some kind of drank dart and all the way back to the house she's you know she wakes up comes kind of to her senses and everything um kicks the driver in the back of the fucking head right causes the car to go rolling off into the woods and everything She's a pretty tough fucking final girl. I'll give it to her, but then she unfortunately gets captured immediately By Daniel in the woods This is kind of his like redemption moment with dad dad standing there waiting for him to fuck up and he does and he does the right thing Gets her back to the house and all that stuff and the family prepares to go through with the ritual now I need a sip of beer
