Zencastr Mobile is an application designed to allow you to effortlessly record top-notch audio and video using your iPhone or iPad. Zencastr Mobile joins the existing Zencastr browser app for laptop and desktop to give you even more convenient options to connect with your guests and create amazing content.

At the moment, Zencastr Mobile is exclusively available for iOS devices, as we are currently focused on providing the best experience for Apple users. However, rest assured that we plan to extend our development to Android devices in the near future, ensuring a wider accessibility for all creators. Stay tuned for updates!

You can invite your co-host or guest from the Add Participant button in any recording room. Once you tap that button, you'll notice a "+Invite" option, enabling you to effortlessly send a link using any messaging or email app installed on your device.

Your guest doesn't have to worry about signing up or logging in – if they've downloaded the mobile app, they can join without needing a Zencastr account. Connecting is a breeze, using a provided invite link or a convenient 5-digit guest code.

If your guest is more inclined to use a desktop setup, simply provide them with the same invite link to ensure they can smoothly join the recording.

While Zencastr Mobile is designed to work with your smartphone's built-in microphone, speakers, and camera, using an external microphone or headset can further enhance your recording quality.

No, guests do not need to create a Zencastr account to record on mobile. Instead, they simply download the app and join you from a recording link or 5-digit code that you send them.

Zencastr Mobile places a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional audio and video quality. Anticipate video recordings in stunning 1080p resolution, providing your audience with a visually captivating experience. Our app also optimizes audio quality with 48kHz WAV and a series of postproduction steps, ensuring your recordings sound professional even when using your Apple device's microphone.

Currently, Zencastr Mobile focuses on the recording experience. Complete post-production straight from the app or transfer your recordings to your preferred editing software for post-production.

Absolutely! Once you've recorded your content using Zencastr Mobile, you can access your recordings from your same user account login and upload it to your preferred podcasting platforms from the app itself.

To access the full range of features and capabilities, a paid subscription level is required, beginning with the Pro plan and above. Sign into your Zencastr account to access an option to upgrade your subscription.

If you downgrade your subscription, you'll retain access to the features associated with the new subscription level. Any features exclusive to the premium subscription will no longer be accessible.
