82 was a brilliant year and you have to read that with a British accent to get the full effect! It was a year of Dexy's Midnight Runners for Tyler and a lot of Yazoo for Josh. 

And don't forget the hair. It really was all about the hair. And the eyeliner. And looking like Adam Ant.

1982! Aileen! C'mon!

This week's random drawing took Josh and Tyler all the way back to 1984, the year of George Orwell's delightful tale of love and joy in what looked like 2026... Yes, were were over the quicksand pits but the threat of nuclear bombs lingering kept us dancing with tears in our eyes. 

Josh loved some Gary Numan and Tyler loved Blow Monkeys and we both loved some Thompson Twins 12" extended remixes.

1984! Big Brother is Still Listening!

1990 was the year we had to start adulting for real this time! It was all about jobs and clothes and clubs and records were taking the backseat.

Tyler calls it a transition year and Josh has to agree. Sounds weren't new, our 80's bands were slowing down and the new decade hadn't begun to take off. 

Still, we got a world wide tour from Depeche Mode, a new song from The Cramps and the amazing album, Rain Tree Crow from former Japan members.
