What happens when two people really meet? Guy Sengstock of The Circling Institute joins Laura Coe on The Art of Authenticity for a conversation about listening, honesty and the lost art of relating.

The internet has quietly uncoupled information from relationship, and many of us now spend less time truly relating than any generation before. Together they explore why we are so hard on each other, how judgement gets in the way of listening, why our deepest wounds come through relationships, and how revealing ourselves can show us feelings we didn't know we had, before turning to Circling, a practice for creating the safety to be honest and present with one another, and to the sense that another person, like the truth, is an endless mystery: you could talk for a thousand years and never find where they end.

Guy Sengstock – Circling, Connection and the Lost Art of Relating

In this deeply personal and wide-ranging conversation, Laura sits down with Grammy-nominated songwriter Becca Stevens to explore the living edge between creativity and spirituality. What unfolds is more than an interview—it’s a meditation on trust, intuition, and what happens when we let go of control.

From a serendipitous Instagram message to an unforgettable backstage meditation on 11/11, Laura and Becca reflect on the invisible threads that guide us when we’re willing to listen. They examine the dance between the muse and the critical mind, the fear of “getting it wrong,” and the discipline required to serve something larger than the ego.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in your creative process—or wondered how to align authenticity with success—this episode offers a grounded, honest look at what it means to trust the flow. Creativity is not forced. It’s received. And when we learn to quiet the mind, something far greater can move through us.

Becca Stevens – Music, Identity, and Composing Your Truth

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura begins a technical series on how the Akashic Records actually work. She answers the most common question she hears inside the Little Soul School: “How do I know it’s not just me?” She breaks down the three ways the Records come through — auditory, physical, and visual — and explains why correct technique matters more than doubt.

The core instruction is simple: describe what you receive. Stay present. Speak in real time. When you describe, you receive. When you stop, it stops. Laura explains how playful energy, relaxation, and repetition create receptivity. Like learning piano or cooking, the first notes won’t be a symphony — but the practice builds lived wisdom.

Most importantly, she reframes the ego question. Of course you are involved. You are already part of the Akashic field — the ether, the everything. The work is to navigate this ancient space with correct technique and curiosity, not fear. If you want to begin within and experience it for yourself, she invites you to explore The Key Plan inside the Little Soul School.

Akashic Technique – How Do You Know It Is Not Your Ego?

In this intimate conversation, Laura sits down with her longtime friend and clinical social worker Nicole Wagner to explore what it really means to heal. From DBT and IFS to mindfulness and “wise mind,” this episode unpacks the practical tools that help us move out of all-or-nothing thinking and back into clarity, connection, and self-trust.

They trace Nicole’s path into therapy — shaped by caregiving, art, and a deep curiosity about people’s stories — and examine what brings people into therapy in the first place: the longing to be seen, heard, and understood. At the heart of the conversation is a powerful truth: we are often overwhelmed not by reality, but by the noise of our own thinking.

If you’ve ever wondered how to communicate your needs, navigate relationship limits, or reconnect with your authentic self, this episode offers grounded, practical insight.

Nicole Wagner: The Psychology of Authentic Truth

In this episode, Laura speaks directly to the loneliness that often arises on the spiritual path. There are institutions and communities for religion and science. But for the explorers in the middle – the ones navigating meditation, the Akashic Records, yoga, psychedelics, and self-inquiry – there can be a strange stigma. A sense that you are “weird” for wanting to look at life through multiple lenses.

If you’ve felt isolated for wanting a deeper conversation about who you are and why you’re here, this episode is a reminder that your questions are valid and your curiosity matters. That loneliness is not a problem – it is courage. And you are not alone in that exploration.

Come Out of the Spiritual Closet

What actually happens in an Akashic Record reading? In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura Coe walks through what the Records are, how a reading works, and what kind of guidance this ancient system is designed to offer.

This conversation is an introduction for anyone curious about the Akashic field, what a reading can genuinely offer, and how this modality supports growth, understanding, and meaningful insight rather than fortune-telling.

You’ll learn how the Akashic Records function as an energetic archive of your soul’s history, how specific questions shape the information you receive, and why the Records focus less on prediction and more on clarity, healing, and alignment with your soul’s intent.

What is An Akashic Record Reading?

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura sits down with longtime friend Kevin Kaiser for a grounded, unscripted conversation about identity, awareness, and the quiet pull toward truth that many people feel but struggle to name.

Kevin shares his lifelong relationship with inquiry — from growing up in an evangelical environment to decades of philosophical study, contemplative practice, and direct experience. Together, they explore why so many of us feel a persistent sense of “not enough,” how spiritual seeking can quietly turn into another form of chasing, and why peak experiences don’t actually solve the question we’re asking.   This episode moves toward a simple but challenging invitation: stop trying to get somewhere else.

Through stories of silence, darkness retreats, identity collapse, and everyday life, Kevin points back to one essential inquiry — Who am I? Not as a concept, but as something to be noticed directly. If you’ve ever felt pulled toward spirituality, purpose, or self-understanding but unsure where to begin, this conversation offers a clear place to start.

What are the Akashic Records and how can Akashic Record readings help you?

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura explains the Akashic Records in clear, practical terms. The Records are described as an ancient informational field that holds the complete history of your soul – every thought, action, lifetime, and the original soul plan created before incarnation.

Laura explores how this field is accessed, how guides help translate what’s most relevant, and why Akashic Record readings only reveal what serves your highest good. The conversation moves beyond mysticism into lived understanding, showing how the Records support alignment, authentic decision-making, and clarity around why you’re here.

What Are the Akashic Records and Why This Ancient Tool Matters Today?

What does it actually mean to heal — and can we heal completely?

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura sits down with Sat Dharam Kaur to explore trauma, identity, and the deeper mechanics of healing. Drawing from her personal history, naturopathic medicine, Kundalini Yoga, and Compassionate Inquiry, she offers a clear and grounded perspective on why suffering persists — and how it can unwind.

This conversation looks directly at identification, the mind’s role in pain, and what happens when awareness replaces narrative. Together, they examine purpose, healing without self-fixation, and why transformation doesn’t require perfection — only presence.

Sat Dharam Kaur – Compassion, Awakening and Soul Service

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura explores how authenticity has evolved for her over time. What began as a question of passion and success became a deeper inquiry: Who is the “I” that’s living this life?  Laura points to a felt sense, a deeper intelligence that lies beyond the thinking mind, that can’t be located in time or space, yet informs everything we do.

Drawing on poetry, lived experience, and the Akashic Records, she reflects on authenticity as deep listening, surrendering control, and allowing life to move through us with clarity and flow.  Authenticity isn’t self-definition – it’s a relationship with an infinite, unknowable sense of self that’s always communicating, if we’re willing to listen.
