Jarrod Dyke: First, let's adjust the PWR stuff because it's semi -relevant and we haven't had an update and I haven't been able to publish an update. Let's put it that way since... weeks ago, but I do have up to last weekend.
Jarrod Dyke: So not including this past weekend. It's, um, there's been some shifting to say the least, um, couple, well, a couple of rough rounds for some people, um, you know, not so rough rounds for others have like Rihanna's pulled herself off the basement.
Grumpy Old Prop: Not in a good way. Yeah, that's true.
Jarrod Dyke: She's now in, she's now got two people between her and, uh, And that bombs, well, I guess one person, but still she's, you know, heard from last, no longer last George.
Jarrod Dyke: Same thing. He's pulled himself out of the fire. He's now, um, he's got like a eight point lead on Rihanna. So do you want him?
Grumpy Old Prop: Hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, Duncan has tumbled. The last time we were updating this, Duncan was our leader and he has tumbled. Yeah. So depending on how this weekend goes, but as of before last weekend, he is got about a 50 point gap to make up.
Jarrod Dyke: And I think that was like his lead at one point too. So it's, it's doubled to say the least right now.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, it was.
Jarrod Dyke: One, two, three is some asshole, Ben and Joe.
Grumpy Old Prop: Well, good. I'm still not too far out. I'm glad that makes me happy.

Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, exactly. I mean, I had a hundred point week a couple of weeks ago. So it like, yeah, it's, it's, I need to, to keep those and then have fewer of these like 15 point weeks.
Jarrod Dyke: You did. You did.

Grumpy Old Prop: I really don't need that.

Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.

Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.
Jarrod Dyke: that track because they both had fucking amazing days. So yeah, that totally tracks. Anywho, picks for now. For this weekend, we're getting to the pointy end here.
Jarrod Dyke: um I am going to go with speaking of Alex Matthews, I'm gonna go with Alex Matthews.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.
Jarrod Dyke: My, my back is going to be Grace White from shell finders woman.
Grumpy Old Prop: Fair.
Jarrod Dyke: There aren't many people that there aren't many backs. I've actually made more meters in her. So I'm gonna take her and then I Do not believe I picked Emma Singh on this half of the love the score here. Nope, I haven't. So I'm taking Emma Singh and her boot for the my kicker.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah. And so we've we've done the similar homework, um, because I'm going with Matthews, um, and seeing as my kicker, and I am going to just stick with the Hannah Jones as my, uh, my back though.

Friday night, France and Wales for the host, um, going based off popularity percentage, um, Malvaca or Marshall, depending on who starts, uh, FOMO. I don't know if he's injured. ah Last I saw FOMO was injured. Um, Mayafu would be a good sub. He might still be a good pick even if FOMO is healthy. Um,
Jarrod Dyke: You're going to pick Aldrich, yes, DuPont, Doi. Ramos likely going to be your kicker if you pick him. And then, BLBR, they have Pinellas' hurt right now, so just keep an eye on that. um The only, only, only, set I might consider is Weenie Antonio because he's pretty expensive and doesn't get that much productivity, even for a prop. We're talking Superproof by the way, those of you that are listening. um and I like Bayh better anyways, assuming he's healthy, so.
Jarrod Dyke: That's just my preference. Uh, for the visitors, um, the one, the one guy I'm really looking at, uh, them as Jack Morgan. Love what he does. Does a lot of damage all over the place.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, you could stash, but definitely would not start them this week. Uh, the likes of Thomas Williams or Ben Thomas, um, captain Daffy sit him, please. Good Lord in heaven.
Jarrod Dyke: His name's Daffy for a reason.
Grumpy Old Prop: What the why? Why? Yeah.
Jarrod Dyke: Also, also that, but you know,
Grumpy Old Prop: All right. Saturday to Scotland ah hosting of Italy. I can, I can do this. I'm good.
Jarrod Dyke: I know you can.
Grumpy Old Prop: Uh, for Scotland.
Jarrod Dyke: I believe in you.
Grumpy Old Prop: I mean, it's this human, you kind of have to have him in your squad.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, right.
Grumpy Old Prop: Um, like I know he's a little pricey, but all like, he just does a lot.
Jarrod Dyke: He's one of the most productive, he's like one of the most productive props that there is in fancy the last couple of years, so.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.
Grumpy Old Prop: Exactly, like you take scum and then you throw the dice on some schmo, like whoever's like cheapest, just go for it.
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah. Some one one one unit, one pound, one euro guy.

Grumpy Old Prop: And then Finn and so that back three, you know, Dewey, um ah Darcy, ah the the royal penis are all just excellent options. I don't know about Hugh Jones. It really like yeah we were saying on the the where I was saying on the other pod.
Grumpy Old Prop: um They'll need to get someone who can get him the ball in space at 12 like two plots who could do. They were like, you know, open up space for him. And they have options who can do that. I just don't know that they will. But if they do, it'll be this match. um However, on the other side, if we're talking centers.
Grumpy Old Prop: ah kind of like either of the Italy centers over over over Hugh Jones, because with he doesn't have to apply to now. um So, um you know, men in cello, Brax, you almost want to start both because first off, you know, never chi sweet.

Grumpy Old Prop: And Brex are just like, if you you start both of them and um yeah one of them is going to go off and the other one will score well enough that it's like, okay, that's worth it. um But other than that, like, their forwards, you know, Lorenzo Canone.
Jarrod Dyke: Right.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, um I kind of want to see him more um since his injury just to make sure. um But, sorry.
Jarrod Dyke: Played well in that, uh, Lara show game. I know that played well in that Lara show game.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.
Jarrod Dyke: I know that.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right. So now it's a step up. Let's see what he can do with the step up, to although La Rochelle is fucking good.

Grumpy Old Prop: So it's not that Scotland's better than that. So. So the Aunty is getting kind of I don't know if he was going to be a ah fantasy study, be it there already.
Jarrod Dyke: He also doesn't get a ton of starts, so maybe we see him more than, maybe we see more of him and less of Negri and that could help.
Grumpy Old Prop: Lamont. True. I'm just wondering if he's going to like.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, um I would think that would also open things up for tomorrow too. So um these this is one of those games where some of these guys may actually score pretty well, but it's going to be like one of or, you know, at most three of them and there's probably five or six guys you could you could argue should be on your squad.
Jarrod Dyke: Yes, no argument out of that.

Grumpy Old Prop: um You know, and that's outside of the two that we talked about in the centers. So or no, not on top of including.
Jarrod Dyke: No, including, including.
Grumpy Old Prop: So there's like, you know, three or four guys, two or three of them are going to score pretty well.
Jarrod Dyke: Yes.
Jarrod Dyke: Yes. Yes. Yes. argument here All right. Um, Ireland and England for the Irish, uh, Porter, she ends healthy.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah.
Jarrod Dyke: You can, you can look at, he played really well last weekend and you can start him, um, burn and McCarthy, especially burn if he ends up at six somehow, um, which is a possibility, but now so not really my favorite, but could happen.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm -hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, Yes, Van Der Fleer and Doris. I know Van Der Fleer has kind of fallen off a little bit, but I still want to believe in them. So for now, yes. But, you know, be prepared to dump Gibson Park. Only if you don't want to play DuPont, but that's not really what I would do. Prender Gas, yep. um Despite his age, yes, we're playing hockey. Ringrose as well. And James Lowe also is healthy, so you can go ahead and play him.
Jarrod Dyke: Uh, I don't have any sits at the moment, uh, only based on selection, but there still could be some interesting ones coming up here for England. Uh, Gens.
Jarrod Dyke: Yep. He's, uh, you know, we talked about one of the more dynamic props in the game. He's right there with skimming. Um, Morrow. Yep. You're going to play him. He's one of the better locks in the game.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm
Jarrod Dyke: Earl, basically their only ball carrier in the forwards.
Grumpy Old Prop: -hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: Um, Uh, Marcus only, if you don't want Finn, but that's, yeah you know, ah again, uh, again, Lawrence, their only runner in the back line really right now, because we'll see if it gets beyond him, honestly.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm -hmm.
Jarrod Dyke: And then, um, sit. I have no interest in LCD or ton curry, which both of which are at that threshold of which I would consider, or at least give the, um, the starter set too.
Grumpy Old Prop: Ew, no. no
Jarrod Dyke: So pass.
Grumpy Old Prop: All right, so then I guess we're to the other weeks.
Jarrod Dyke: of the weeks.
Grumpy Old Prop: And to me, I think he's going to be fairly busy. So first off, This is exactly entirely because Anton DuPont is is off limits.
Grumpy Old Prop: You cannot. I don't think you can use him as as a start of the week. It's not.
Jarrod Dyke: We should just make that a rule right now.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right. There's no point to it, right?
Jarrod Dyke: That's too easy that's too much of a layup.
Grumpy Old Prop: um Because he'll score. She will. But for for this week, my main non DuPont start of the week is Finn Russell. For for Scotland, who, um you know, it's an investment, but I think he's going to be busy with the boot.
Jarrod Dyke: Mm hmm. I agree.
Jarrod Dyke: All right, so um you don't in official, I don't think.
Grumpy Old Prop: Because in this, everybody, you don't have to nominate a kicker, right? It's just if you get kicked. So like, this is still an official, right? that's where That's where I am right now. sort of
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, yeah.
Grumpy Old Prop: no
Jarrod Dyke: So but into you.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right.
Jarrod Dyke: um So for me, Everyone's gonna pick one guy and start him, but I also think you need to pick this guy and possibly start him too. Could beat you in a phone booth, no matter what. My starler is gonna be Darcia Graham.
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, I like it. um Kind of what I was saying about those those centers for Italy, the wings for Scotland might be starting both because one of them is going to fucking go off and the other ones do good and do all right themselves.
Jarrod Dyke: Yep.
Grumpy Old Prop: Going the other end, my sit of the week. yeah um Just Tom Curry, don't don't get sucked in. Like it's especially if you're not, you know, used to this kind of um If you're new to the game, this is more of a warning to the newbies out there just Don't get sucked into it he's a name that's great, but don't expect points for it Right and that's that's a big hope
Jarrod Dyke: Yeah, don't get into don't get put into that trap.
Jarrod Dyke: you're hoping You're hoping for him to fall over the line if you're picking him. Really, that's what you're hoping for him to do. So against that team, that's gonna be enough. um For me, I get why he's getting picked right now because he's probably not a terrible option to keep on your bench in place of Marcus or Finn, but Also, don't get cute and be contrarian by starting Ben Thomas right now. like That's a cauldron he's about to go get thrown into. There's no way he's coming out of it with good things. Will it help him grow? Yes. Is he gonna get the shit kicked out of him? Probably. Sorry, buddy.
Jarrod Dyke: Didn't do terribly when he was when they played him down in Australia. um Not all that long ago, so give him that.
