Speaker: When I talk to entrepreneurs and people who are starting out on a journey or the thing I talk about with entrepreneurs is this embrace the contradiction.
Speaker: I think you've got to be a great entrepreneur.
Speaker: You've got to be a contradiction.
Speaker: And what I'm thinking about that is...
Speaker: you have to have a duality to you on a bunch of different fronts.
Speaker: Like you have to be open, but you also have to be stubborn at times.
Speaker: And you have to listen, but you've got to believe what you think is the right thing to do sometimes.
Speaker: You've got to yield, but you've got to not compromise.
Speaker: There's a whole bunch of these dualities that are compromises.
Speaker: But when you get the balance right, when you get the right thing in the right moment, that's kind of when the magic happens, I think.
Speaker: And so I think people kind of naturally feel uncomfortable with contradictions.
