World Division and Choosing Sides

00:00:52
Speaker
Well, here I am on the way home.
00:00:56
Speaker
I was traveling on the road here.
00:01:01
Speaker
And just listening to the events that are happening in our world.
00:01:08
Speaker
And just once again, the division that comes to the world.
00:01:19
Speaker
The lines are becoming more and more clear.
00:01:25
Speaker
The division between what is right and good.
00:01:31
Speaker
What is evil and wicked?
00:01:37
Speaker
It's like just more and more and more you have to pick a side.
00:01:42
Speaker
You're not allowed to walk the fence or to be neutral or have some sort of gray area.
00:01:48
Speaker
You've got to pick a side.

Attack on Israel and Anti-Semitism

00:01:51
Speaker
That is becoming more and more evident as we go along.
00:01:57
Speaker
And I have seen that developing over the past 10 years or so.
00:02:03
Speaker
And it is since October the 7th, since the nation of Israel was attacked in a vicious, brutal, wicked, demonic way.
00:02:18
Speaker
The raping and murdering of women and children, beheading babies,
00:02:25
Speaker
This kind of horrific thing has been happening a lot of places, but this was a very evident, obvious attack upon innocent people just because they're Jewish.
00:02:39
Speaker
And all of a sudden, the modern-day Nazis of the world came out of the wall.
00:02:49
Speaker
It's like the ship is sinking or...
00:02:53
Speaker
I don't know.
00:02:54
Speaker
We set a match to the shed and all the roaches and rats just came running out of the building.
00:03:03
Speaker
Because it is astounding to me, the hatred, the anti-Semitism, the vicious, the celebration, the celebration of the vicious murder of innocent children.
00:03:26
Speaker
The torture of innocent people and how that's celebrated by pro-Hamas organizations and groups in the United States of America and other places in the world, it's astounding, it's shocking.

Palestinian Stance and Violence Justification

00:03:43
Speaker
It's shocking a lot of people, and rightly so.
00:03:49
Speaker
But it's making that dividing line
00:03:52
Speaker
that line in the sand is growing more and more stark so that if you are willing to defend Hamas' attack, no matter what you think their justifications are or the things that you believe Israel has done that are wrong or if you're a supporter of a two-state solution, I would like to inform you that Hamas,
00:04:21
Speaker
is not a supporter of a two-state solution.
00:04:24
Speaker
The Palestinians are not.
00:04:27
Speaker
in favor of a two-state solution because they've had the opportunity many times over the decades to have a two-state solution and they have rejected it.
00:04:39
Speaker
So that's not even on the table as far as they are concerned.
00:04:42
Speaker
Their desire is to wipe out the nation of Israel, to see every Jew burned alive.
00:04:48
Speaker
That's what they want.
00:04:50
Speaker
And, you know, even if you...
00:04:53
Speaker
think that they have some sort of justification or some sort of grievances, it doesn't justify the murder of innocent people any more than whatever legitimate... You know, even if the Nazis had had, and I don't believe they did, but even if the Nazis had some sort of sincere grievance against the Jewish people, it wouldn't justify gassing children, men, women, and children
00:05:23
Speaker
millions upon millions of innocent people killed.
00:05:27
Speaker
So the people that are supporting Hamas and are pro-Palestinian, doing despicably horrible things all over the country, those people are being fomented and driven by, I believe, a demonic spirit.
00:05:46
Speaker
And that type of evil is so bad
00:05:53
Speaker
That you just, even people that don't have faith say, that can't be right.
00:05:59
Speaker
That's evil.
00:06:00
Speaker
That is evil right there.
00:06:03
Speaker
That line is becoming very clear.
00:06:05
Speaker
And I certainly know that Israel is not above sin.
00:06:12
Speaker
Just read the Bible.
00:06:15
Speaker
Just a little bit and you will see Israel is not above sin.
00:06:19
Speaker
They are not above doing wicked and evil things.
00:06:29
Speaker
I stand with Israel and I believe that God loves Israel and is even now working their redemption as he is working the redemption for all of us because God loved the world and gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
00:06:52
Speaker
God sent his son as a Jew
00:06:57
Speaker
as a descendant of Abraham, to save the world, to save the nation of Israel, but the world was always part of the plan.
00:07:08
Speaker
But God does have a certain special love for the nation of Israel.
00:07:14
Speaker
And I do too, and I don't think that that diminishes God's love for me, just because he has, I don't know, I can't say that he loves Israel more than me, because I'm a good old Gentile boy, let me tell you.
00:07:28
Speaker
He doesn't love Israel more than me, but... I don't know.
00:07:33
Speaker
There's just something special about it.
00:07:36
Speaker
I don't think that that... that diminishes me at all.
00:07:40
Speaker
I'm happy for Israel to have... I don't know, a soft spot in the heart of God.
00:07:47
Speaker
And I have a soft spot for Israel myself.
00:07:52
Speaker
So I stand with Israel.
00:07:53
Speaker
And I...
00:07:55
Speaker
applaud those who are defending her, who are going to root out the evil men that are bringing such destruction upon their country.

Supporting Israel and Moral Courage

00:08:16
Speaker
I just have to say that that line is becoming more and more clear.
00:08:24
Speaker
And I think that that is important for us to pick a side.
00:08:29
Speaker
We need to pick a side.
00:08:31
Speaker
We ought not to be sitting on the sidelines.
00:08:34
Speaker
We need to get involved.
00:08:36
Speaker
And if you're afraid to say, I stand with Israel, you need to have a reality check.
00:08:43
Speaker
Because if you can't say, when someone is completely innocent,
00:08:50
Speaker
And a bully comes along and punches them in the face, kicks them when they're on the ground, and attempts to disfigure their face in horrific ways.
00:09:01
Speaker
Completely innocent person, and the bully's trying to hurt them.
00:09:05
Speaker
And you're not willing to stand up to that bully and say, that's wrong, you have to stop it.
00:09:11
Speaker
You have to go through me to get to that other person on the ground.
00:09:15
Speaker
If you're not willing to do that, then you need to check your bravery.
00:09:19
Speaker
You need to check and see whether or not you're a coward.
00:09:24
Speaker
And if you're not willing to defend Israel, to say, I stand with Israel, when they are defending themselves against the horrific murder of their citizens.
00:09:36
Speaker
And if you can't say that, your priorities are out of place.

Recognizing Human Evil

00:09:48
Speaker
It's awful to me that Israel would be accused of lying about this so much so that they have to release graphic video of the things that actually happened.
00:09:59
Speaker
And I suppose it's because people just don't want to believe that other human beings are capable of doing that.
00:10:04
Speaker
Let me tell you, human beings are capable of horrific evils.
00:10:10
Speaker
Apart from Christ, we are desperately wicked.
00:10:16
Speaker
We need to have the courage to say, I stand with Israel.
00:10:19
Speaker
We need to have the courage to defend Israel from her attackers.
00:10:25
Speaker
Ideologically and physically.

Podcast Motivation and Conclusion

00:10:27
Speaker
And it's becoming more and more clear that we need to call sin by its rightful name.
00:10:41
Speaker
I was just motivated and spurred on by this thought, so...
00:10:45
Speaker
figured I'd share it.
00:10:46
Speaker
And I figured what better time to inaugurate the video portion of the Preacher Dad podcast with that video there.
00:10:56
Speaker
So God bless you.
00:10:58

00:11:11
Speaker
We're trying to
00:11:13
Speaker
provide a biblical perspective upon the issues of our day and inspire and encourage Christians in the West to engage in the culture war.
00:11:26
Speaker
And that might mean just teaching your children what's right and wrong, but there's nothing wrong with that.
00:11:32
Speaker
All right.
00:11:33
Speaker
I'm the preacher dad.
00:11:34
Speaker
My name's Jared, and I'll catch you next time.
00:11:37
Speaker
Thanks so much.
00:11:38
Speaker
Bye-bye.
