So it was like a really weird noise that I would hear.

And I remember watching them and I remember connect us like making the connection between the horror movies and.

And what I was hearing and kind of like, you know, having this, especially like at nighttime.

And I thought these were like evil spirits or ghosts, but I never told anyone.

And I would go to bed and I would just like pray that I, you know, that those noises wouldn't show up again and that I would not like hear them.

But as I, you know, as I've mentioned in like episodes, prior episodes that I grew up in a very diverse religious family.

And my nanny, that she was part of this African religion called Candomblé, and that was very much based on spirit guides and deities.

And so they believe that each person is assigned to a specific spirit guide.

And so they kind of like they do dances and offerings and prayers and all this stuff.

So she taught us all of this.

And she would also tell us like, oh, you know, so don't forget, you have to bring or eat this blah, blah, blah, this piece of fruit or make this type of food in order to honor this specific spirit guide.

You know, like, you know, you had to make offerings that would buy, I have to buy, like, roses that were related to the spirit guide and, like, throw it in the ocean.

half conscious half unconscious yeah and i would see them and i remember telling him i was like hey you know i saw this and he's like oh but these are your spirit guides and i'm like what yeah and because i didn't know what i know today but i like validated that level of awareness

So that was kind of like my initial contact with Spirit Guides and how it influenced, you know, my belief system with Spirit Guide.

Throughout the years, you know, as I kind of I went deeper into spirituality, and I started learning about like, you know, other practices and other modalities.

into getting to know my spirit guide and developing this relationship, you know, because like I just had no idea what it was and how it looked like and how to even connect with them.

But then I realized that a relationship with my spirit guide, it's a relationship just like any other relationship.
