Speaker: Hey guys, welcome to the Trivia Twins podcast. I'm Andi. And I'm Dani, we'll be your hosts. In today's episode, we'll be asking you 10 trivia questions on love songs.

Speaker: Did you know that Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing was inspired by Barbra Streisand and James Brolin? Apparently, the song's writer, Diane Warren, was inspired by Barbra Streisand's memoir. She wrote about how James Brolin told her he didn't want to go to sleep because he'd miss her.

Speaker: how cute. That is cute. And did you know that the song I Will Always Love You was written by Dolly Parton, but it wasn't intended to be about a romantic partner. It was written as a goodbye to her longtime business partner, Porter Wagoner, when she decided to leave their professional partnership and pursue a solo career.

Speaker: And here's one more. Did you know that Mariah Carey's song, My All, was inspired by a famous baseball player? That one she confirmed in her memoir was about Derek Jeter.

Speaker: They briefly dated from 1997 to 1998. All right, let's jump into a quick round of this or that based on today's theme.

Speaker: Okay, this or that, 90s songs from movies. Love Fool by The Cardigans from Romeo and Juliet or Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer from She's All That. Ooh, this one is easy for me. Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer.

Speaker: Only because She's All That is my favorite rom-com. I love that scene. I love that movie. But song-wise, I think I have to go with Love Fool. I love and jamming out to that song.

Speaker: Okay, this or that. 90s R&B love songs. Back at One by Brian McKnight or All My Life by Kasey and JoJo. Okay, this one is very easy for me. i would pick All My Life by Kasey and JoJo. I love that song.

Speaker: That is a good song. i don't know. Both are great to me, but I heard someone sing back at one on The Voice recently, and don't know. It just never gets old. I love that one. That is a nice song. I feel like both of these were overplayed in the though. Oh, yeah, a little bit. Probably at all the weddings. Yes. Like back at one, I got a little sick of, but all my life, I would never get sick of that song. I just love it so much.
