Speaker: The Sandlerverse has had some epic cameos. Lee Trevino in Happy Gilmore, Lawrence Taylor in The Waterboy, Kevin Garnett in Uncut Gems, and John McEnroe in Mr. Deeds.
Speaker: The athlete with the most cameos is Shaquille O'Neal. He's popped up in several Sandler films, including the Netflix movies Hustle and Hubie Halloween.
Speaker: He also appears in the film Blended and the film Grown Ups 2. Shaq's first Adam Sandler role was in the 2011 film Jack and Jill.
Speaker: Shaq has said he used to see Adam Sandler courtside with Jack Nicholson at Lakers games, and supposedly he asked Adam Sandler for a movie role. Adam Sandler reportedly replied that Shaq would need a championship first. He eventually won the championships and finally got the call.
