Speaker: They're known for their Japanese Peruvian cuisine and also for being the best place to go for a celeb sighting. Travis Kelsey and Patrick Mahomes now own a steakhouse in Kansas City called 1587 Prime, named after their jersey numbers, of course.
Speaker: Probably the best place to go for a Taylor Swift sighting too. Agree. And in New Jersey, Jon Bon Jovi's restaurant, JBJ Soul Kitchen, has a unique pay-what-you-can model with no prices on the menu, making it accessible to everyone regardless of their financial situation.
Speaker: And in Happy Gilmore 2, Bad Bunny played Oscar, who dreams of opening his own restaurant. But in real life, Bad Bunny actually does own a restaurant in Miami. It's called Gekko, and it's a Japanese-inspired steakhouse and lounge.
Speaker: All right, let's jump into a quick round of This or That based on today's theme.
Speaker: Okay, This or That. Unusual pizza toppings. Anchovies or pineapple? All right. This isn't a question for me. I'm one of those crazy people that likes anchovies. I've never tried them on my pizza, but on my Caesar salad, I'm asking for extra. And I'll take everybody's at the table.
Speaker: Who doesn't want them? I mean, I'm with you. I love anchovies. I don't know why people don't want the anchovies on their Caesar salad. I'm actually usually disappointed when they don't have anchovies on the Caesar salad. Me too. But i I've also never had anchovies on pizza, but I need to try it. I think I have to go with pineapple just because I've had it. Okay. Okay.
Speaker: This or that. If you had all the money in the world, would you rather go out to eat for the rest of your life or have a personal chef for the rest of your life?
Speaker: This is so tough for me because i would love to have a personal chef to make me like clean, healthy food. And it's like, I know the ingredients are good. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. I know, but I think I'd rather go out and to eat for the rest of my life. I just would like the variety. And I think if I had to be inside for the rest of my life eating, I think I think i would just miss going out to eat. So i yeah think I have to say go out to eat for the rest of my life.
Speaker: I agree. I'm kind of a homebody lately. So part of me wants to say personal chef. But if I had all the money in the world, I'm definitely traveling. So I'd want to experience, you know, different cultures, different chefs, different techniques. Yeah, yeah I got to go with that one, too. I mean, luckily I'll never have to actually make that decision. I know, right? and You never know. Maybe someday. Yeah. I'm my own personal chef and don't know why I like go about to eat and it'll probably be like do that way the rest of my life. Yep.
