Speaker: guys, welcome to the Trivia Twins podcast. I'm Andi. and I'm Dani, we'll be your hosts. In today's episode, we'll be asking you 10 trivia questions on songs that mention famous people in the lyrics.

Speaker: Kendrick Lamar actually has a song titled Michael Jordan. And the second most name dropped athlete in music is one of the most popular soccer players in the world, Lionel Messi.

Speaker: And the athlete that came in at number one by a long shot with the most mentions is Kobe Bryant. All right, let's jump into a quick round of this or that based on today's theme.

Speaker: This or That, Party Anthems, Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, which mentions Michelle Pfeiffer, or Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus, which mentions Jay-Z.

Speaker: Ooh, those are both really good, upbeat songs. I think I got to go Miley Cyrus, Party in the USA. Kelly. That one always gets me in the mood to party. Okay. I do love that song. It's hard not to dance to either of these songs. um Did you know that Party in the USA was originally for Jessie J?

Speaker: No way. Oh, I love Jessie J. That would have been a cool version. I know. Well, apparently, I think I read it she said it wasn't edgy enough for her. But um it makes more sense that the song would be about someone not from the USA, right um I think, though, i have to go with Uptown Funk.

Speaker: I love dancing to that song yeah probably a little better. can't go wrong with either one. You really can't. Okay, this or that. Pink songs, Don't Let Me Get Me, which references Britney Spears, or So What, which references Jessica Simpson.

Speaker: I would have to go with So What. I like the vibe of that song better, probably. so They're both very, like, punk rock. I feel like Don't Let Me Get Me is, like, more emo. Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah. Ish. Yeah.
