In this episode I talk to an outstanding runner, an amazing coach, a cyclist, a passionate geek of all things sport and performance and a good friend, Anubhav Karmakar. He was one of the first guests on the podcast. I interviewed him for the podcast in episode #5. That was back in 2020 during those lock downs and was on zoom. This time we met up in person and talked about many things he has been up to during these four years and what he has been working on. He talks about the importance of mobility and strength for sport and how one can go about becoming more resilient and healthy human beings. He shares his learnings about training and nutrition for marathon running and ultra distances. We talk about adaptive training plans and their importance in taking specificity to it's logical conclusion and addressing changes to life circumstances of working athletes. He talks about how we can leverage technology not only to take care of some of the more repetitive stuff but also to build communities and knowledge resources for the community. It is always inspiring to see his passion and vision for a better future. I had so much fun with this conversation with him. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

About the Podcast
The working athlete podcast is a podcast with and for working athletes from all walks of life and various sports. The goal is to provide inspiration, training tips, mental hacks, time management and life-style advice through conversations with some of the best in sport, from athletes to coaches. Who is a working athlete? Someone working fulltime/part-time, entrepreneur or anyone who has to work to make ends meet and doesn't let being busy to stop him/her from pursuing an active lifestyle is a working athlete. I consider stay at home moms/dads who pursue a sport, as working athletes because homemaking is a full-time job.
