jarrod_dyke: So we have some newcomers, we have some people that did not jump back in or did not email us that they wanted back in, in which case, where are you?

Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, right. She missed the first like three weeks and still was up there at one point.
jarrod_dyke: so one that's the one person I forgot to throw the scores and on there for any who um Yeah, so we had a bit we had our first big week and
jarrod_dyke: Right now our, leader our, for our leader in the clubhouse is our friend Julia. She is currently killing it with 60, almost all one seventy almost almost 70.
jarrod_dyke: She had. Yep. She had Gwen Hopkins. She had Millie David who had a day.
Grumpy Old Prop: Oh
jarrod_dyke: played the full, so she played 80, so I got her two points. She had three tries, so I got her 15. She had 208 meters racked up, so that's 20 points right there. She had 11 tackles, so that's another five and a half right there.
jarrod_dyke: um So with I will say all this with the caveat of we're waiting to possibly get more stats. So things could shift a little bit up and down.
Grumpy Old Prop: Mm hmm.
jarrod_dyke: I don't i don't think Julia is gonna lose her lead with that fucking Titan of a score.
Grumpy Old Prop: No.
jarrod_dyke: But um just to say, there could be some adjustments to say the least before I get the sucker posted out, waiting on the the answer to those. Our newcomer Tom did have a very good score as well, 64.
jarrod_dyke: points. He had, think he was one of the only ones that picked Amelia McDougall as his kicker. Julia had everything. So that wasn't a bad idea either. Spoiler alert. Oh, no, she had McDougall as well.

jarrod_dyke: That's i impressive. Yeah. So anyway, there could be some changes to that. But leading the clubhouse right now is Julia with Tom right there. And then I think the next one is Joe.

Grumpy Old Prop: So there's, and they're, Barty and Paul are are a half a point difference, literally. um
jarrod_dyke: So I'm not that I'm not doing a whole lot better
Grumpy Old Prop: Okay. I'm about 54 or 56 points out first.
jarrod_dyke: that's That's better.
Grumpy Old Prop: Right. I'm in the same like 500 point range, but yeah, um Luke and Drew and and Franco are all in the 400 point range.
jarrod_dyke: better.
Grumpy Old Prop: So i I was able to bottle it this weekend as well, but it didn't just didn't get me or lose me a spot, which I'm happy with.
jarrod_dyke: Oh, yeah. um
jarrod_dyke: Yeah. If you can, if you spit it, but you still don't lose too much ground, you're, thank you, lucky stars. Those weekends are hard. Well, thank you. Um, I do want to just check on some, some risers and followers and then we'll get to start to sit, but we won't spend too much time on this. Um,
jarrod_dyke: Obviously, we talked about like some of the young players coming through like Sam Harris. will so We'll keep our eyes on him and where he plays this week. Grant, he's going to Gloucester. Although Gloucester, I believe, have one of the worst points against right now, actually.
jarrod_dyke: I think they're the worst, which is wild to think about considering that we're playing in an elite with Newcastle. Yes, seven points worst total is Gloucester than Newcastle.

jarrod_dyke: so That might be someone to get consider on the up is Sam Harris um We talked about like Cunningham was a goodbye once upon a time but not anymore Do we know what the status of Christian Wade is?

Grumpy Old Prop: But for Exeter, I think Fay Woboso is going to get a little loose. I think that the Bristol definitely don't have the defense that Sarries did. um

Grumpy Old Prop: unless they're paying close attention and can sort out that, hey, just stop Feuwoboso and let anybody else beat you and you'll be okay. um And if they did get that message, then we'll we'll see.
Grumpy Old Prop: So I'm still not, I'm i kind of on the fence of Feuwoboso at the moment. um If if you know that copycat gets gets out there, awesome.

Grumpy Old Prop: and there's and Although he is good for the the boot, um because they should be scoring a little bit, so that might be helpful. But again, outside back with like 10 points, I'm not sure I'd want that exactly.
Grumpy Old Prop: um yeah Oh, I mean like ten have ah like fly half points. um Because that's kind of what youre I think you're going to get.

Grumpy Old Prop: um Unless he scores two tries, which he could do, as we saw last week.
jarrod_dyke: So we saw that last week at least.
Grumpy Old Prop: um And then on Bristol's side, I mean, I'm buying on granddaughter, he just just came back and it's like, yeah, okay. I'll score some tries for fun. And Bristol, that seems to be what they like to do too.
Grumpy Old Prop: um And then Malin's in a Betoya. um I'm hesitant on my own ah Ben Hardianz. I think you mentioned that in the other pod. um
Grumpy Old Prop: It's just so hit and miss. I mean, he yeah, he had a good week last week, but ah ah could that could go well this week, actually, but we'll see.

Grumpy Old Prop: But immediately after this, so think of it this way, though. With him, you have Exeter coming up, but then Saris, Saints, Quinn's, Lester, Sale.

I didn't hear what, what um you know, if anything, if it was just. unfunitude, but uh, chinya manga is somehow scoring so go fucking figure um And then the back row is so Stacked that it's kind of hard to pick one from them um But you know, there's there are obviously options um Because do I have any of their no, I don't at them.

Grumpy Old Prop: And then basically the entire back line could be scored at this point. there's they' If they're back, if they're starting to roll, um as I already mentioned, s Slide Home, Finn Smith's obviously a quality option at 10 and the centers, Dingwall and Hutchinson have been lights out as well. So it's only a matter of a time before Freeman and Furbank are really picking up with ah you know as they come back and and Slide Home's still kicking ass. this is
Grumpy Old Prop: Yeah, I would treat them like they are, at least for from a fantasy perspective, like their last year's last um Northampton team.

So so so All right the london dabe uh quince and saris for the quince um Fortunately, shortlist for both. um Sorry, and I mean that but sincerely, it's sad that it is a shortlist for Quinn's. Will Evans, CCS are probably the main forwards to focus on for them. Porter over Care and Marcus. As I mentioned, like Baxter and Launchbury are both highly owned. I would not play them this week.
jarrod_dyke: Um, beard will probably be on the wing, which is actually a problem. As I mentioned before, Saracen's are actually very good against outside backs right now. So that's not really where you want him. And as I said before, if he's not playing 13, I'm not sure I want him.

jarrod_dyke: Um, and then half penny highly owned, but that's mostly from his kicking point slash his new castle game would not really be putting the money on that, especially if Marcus is playing.
jarrod_dyke: Cause that means he has the T not half penny. So you're so well on that one. for the Saracens. It's a pretty good list. Reese Carey, yes, finally. Finally, the man is back. Looked great. Theo Danner Jenks, either or. um There are four locks that are possibilities for the Saracens based on ownership and selection. I would play any of them, honestly, this week. Tiz, Mauro, Sequey, Theo Mac.

Grumpy Old Prop: Start of the week, you just can't um can't sit him at this point. He he is easily a must start, um although he did have his lowest a point output of the this of the season this past week with 17. So I understand your disappointment if you started him.

Again, these case facing a team that can be outmatched and um just you can score some wonder tries it on on them on the outside. um And even sometimes through the middle. So um my start of the week this week is maximum mail -ins.

Grumpy Old Prop: um Anyway, sit of the week. um He's had a kind of a stop and startish beginning of the season. um Although he's kind of middling in points. He's he's maximum of 15, minimum of 10 and a half, which is um which is great, except for that he's seven million.
Grumpy Old Prop: um And again, this, this matchup, I don't think he's going to go well for him because, you know, we've seen that he's not quite an international level wing and he's going up against international level wings. So so likely to be outmatched is, uh, Ali Hassell Collins.
jarrod_dyke: Um, yeah, ah I didn't totally smush him last week. Um, but again, I was, I mean, it's a void.
Grumpy Old Prop: We got 14. That's not, that's not terrible, but he's my, I'm going, I'm, it's my turn to take a swing at him.
jarrod_dyke: No, no, no, no.
jarrod_dyke: Yeah. Um, so my sit, um, guy that obviously needs to do, uh, has big shoes to fill in last year. I think he would have easily filled these shoes quite well.
jarrod_dyke: And he had done so for the majority of the time he needed to. But, you know, being handed the starting job right out of the gate because of injury, he's been serviceable to his team, but not to your fantasy team. My say of the week's this week's name be Tom James from Northampton.

jarrod_dyke: Yeah. Like whatever it was about like him basically just being able to watch Alex Mitchell play last year kind of inspired him to play a little bit better at least.

jarrod_dyke: And this year it's been, well, we've mentioned the word pretty, but but for honest, if we're honest.
Grumpy Old Prop: It has. If we're honest, yeah, I'll be honest with that.
jarrod_dyke: Yeah. I mean, yeah. I mean, especially when you have. I know he's three million, but like, you can still, Nick will Porter if you want to for that price.
