Grief, Gratitude & The Gray in Between

Speaker: Hola, bienvenidos.

Speaker: e and being much more aware of my breathing. yaap pen as one as sanailia frion taier And Natalia Varela was certified in Neuro Change Solutions by Dr. Jo Dispenza. She was invited to the podcast, so that maybe like one of my episodes that had.

Speaker: If not, I invite you to for

Speaker: na paraammos connoros is that maybe we have different tools or those people have different tools or we ourselves have new tools. that help us respond to certain situations in a different way to the one we had previously responded. And the same with other people. So today I want to start with a moment of presence, of being present here, you listener,

Speaker: they they start present this key to commogene

Speaker: They're listening to my voice. That, for example, helps you to be present. It's something that we're listening to. Observe what's around you.

Speaker: and e still In

Speaker: Siente the air entering your nose.

Speaker: Exhala. Siente heat of the air as of your nasal fosas. Inhala again.

Speaker: Sustain your breath.

Speaker: The exilela

Speaker: respirations are perhaps the most rapid and effective way to help us in the present. we started from there. In the episode of today, I wanted to talk little bit about kerila poco So what happened in Today is September 9, it is almost a month from the in Colombia that happened on August 10, almost a month.

Speaker: casi unme e

Speaker: But Colombia has never stopped being mine. I'm Colombian. I've been living in the United States than I've lived in Colombia. This summer we were in Colombia, we were in Cali. And wanted to start from there.

Speaker: Because in reality, Colombia is my home. So, when... juando When the earthquake happened, being far away, it's you I you know that this is my language, of what happened.

Speaker: and the truth, no. didn't interview anyone. this per pasta algai komo um look at passwa yeah eat estaio condenra misoilardano no venreistavanari to talk about this topic. And this is something super important talk about.

Speaker: Because when one is living something so strong,

Speaker: is that they are having a variety of emotions, because there is the pain, but there is also trauma. There the trauma is the trauma No, maybe, having a is the trauma of keeping memories that come to mind from what happened.

Speaker: When there is trauma, it is definitely important that one of the tools that you use is to seek therapy. because trauma is something that sometimes is much more difficult to navigate.

Speaker: And specialist in that way, so that it can help.

Speaker: But what I want to do today is validate

Speaker: no limited time for pain. they still feel overwhelmed, if they feel tired,

Speaker: If you still find it in moments where you start to cry from the nada, it's normal. It's when i assume normal. in like una manea cor rec tapor deciro incorretale commono biruueo toloes moy individualal basa And and And again, based the tools that each person has.

Speaker: say it that they lived a moment in which this same ground was not maintaining, or that they didn't maintain the ground when the earthquake happened. But remember that there it is. And remember to our nervous system that there it is.

Speaker: So that is something that can help. This grounding, reconnecting, helps to level our nervous system. The movement. elmoimiento Moverse is extremely important. Walk, stretch, take your you exercise.

Speaker: If you like music, move your music. It's super important to move your body. Why? Because going to Dentro

Speaker: Entonces, muévete de alguna manera u otra, mueve tu cuerpo.

Speaker: Now, not because one has these tools it will hide what happened, simply are things that one has there,

Speaker: imppesard a

Speaker: help you to generate a little bit of consciousness or acceptance of your emotions and if you help in some way, you can share with someone else that maybe needs it. And if you feel that what you feel is affecting your day-to-day, again, look for professional support. These tools are there as an help, but don't hesitate to seek when i do that pro no lu than de wascar a professional that help in that process.

Speaker: send a huge hug all of you. And remember that you can be living various emotions at the time, that never is one or the other, like this podcast called Duelo, Gratitude, and the nuances in the middle canunka uno lora ah si commo to pokakaama dwelllo gratitude yeed lamatissis and meio

Speaker: cinthiangoleia notto aviestteenduello tabien so las dopa and coexisting If you are feeling gratitude for your life, because you are fine, it doesn't mean you don't feel pain in your lives, and for the people, and for the city that was affected. So, that duality can always exist in our emotions.
