NRL Supercoach Round 4 — Solo Trade Chaos, Team Lists & Captaincy Calls image

NRL Supercoach Round 4 — Solo Trade Chaos, Team Lists & Captaincy Calls

S2 E8 · Tackles and Tinnies with Ryan Firehock
Avatar
20 Plays1 month ago

Chris is missing this week — and Ryan’s theory is pretty simple: he probably didn’t want to jump on after Ryan outscored him 😭

So this week’s Fantasy Files is a solo pod, with Ryan ripping through every team from the official NRL Round 4 team lists and breaking down the SuperCoach names that actually matter. The NRL’s Round 4 lists were published on 25 March 2026, and they still reflect the new setup where clubs can name six players on the bench but only four can enter the game, which Ryan reckons is already impacting minutes, roles, and scoring early in the season.

We get into:

  • Ryan’s solo trade plan for Round 4
  • the key SuperCoach players from every team
  • the best buy / hold / sell calls
  • injury hits and late team-list implications
  • how the early rule changes are affecting scores
  • the best captaincy options for Round 4
  • why it’s time to use those boosts
  • and why you still need to save a couple for Rounds 7 and 8

Cap or Fact: if you’re not boosting around Round 4, you’re already behind.

Drop your trades in the comments: Who’s your best buy, biggest sell, and who gets the captain’s armband this week? Tell Ryan if he’s building nicely… or absolutely cooked.

Introduction and Podcast Overview

Tackles and tinnies, welcome back to the show. Round four, super coach, fantasy files. We are running it solo today. Chris sends his condolences. Just ah couldn't hack that I got a better score than him last week. But we're multimodaling. We're on Riverside. I'm sharing my screen. So the best way to ah view us is on YouTube for this particular podcast. However, obviously we do the audio on Spotify and Apple Pod. So again, wherever you get your listening, you're going to get some good content. But again, for this one here, I reckon follow along on YouTube.

Trading Addictions and Supercoach Success

00:00:32
Speaker
But guys, last week, Supercoach, I'm so back. I'm so, so back. I was concerned at the start of the year. I was trying to be conservative with trades. But as you guys know, I love to trade. It's like my addiction. People smoke, people drink. Mine's trading as Supercoach.
00:00:49
Speaker
I boosted. I should be boosting every single week because it's paid dividends. As we can see on screen right now, guys, I killed it. Okay, I ranked in the top 1% for last round. yeah I've got a ways to go on the top 20%. Ranked currently 31,990, but...
00:01:04
Speaker
rate to currently thirty one thousand nine hundred and ninety but The team is climbing and I'm actually using cash now. I had so much cash in the bank. i'm going to be spending it this week. So it's going very interesting when we go through my trades coming up.
00:01:18
Speaker
But as we've done for the past couple weeks, I'd like to go through TLT just to ah explain where my thoughts are and new players coming in who might be of relevance who are in Supercoach, obviously.
00:01:30
Speaker
But the biggest thing want to talk about is my trades from last week and did they pay off. So again, as I just mentioned, I used the boost and I got rid of Kalen Ponga, forced trade due to injury, and I got into school a far long ago.
00:01:42
Speaker
Happy with that. He got 79 points. Okay. Next trade, I got rid of Reid Marnie. He wasn't in the 80-minute performance anymore, Cowboys. A bit mid, got Harry Grant. Not the best of trades, but in theory, it was very good. And obviously, with Harry Grant's break-even, I was happy to get him in and take the risk. But now it's more setting to get a hooker position, which is fantastic. And I think the good news is that Reece Robson played pretty well for the Roosters in the weekend. So Blake Braley is no guarantee for the ah New South Wales jersey. So might not have to make a trade bearing any injuries for the foreseeable future. And that's what we want.
00:02:18
Speaker
My last trade, and it was the most important trade, it was getting in Joe Chan for Toby Couchman. So very happy, fantastic trade, and I played him as well. And that's

Game Predictions and Player Evaluations

00:02:31
Speaker
obviously the differentiation why I'm ranked in the top 1% for this week, or last week, I should say.
00:02:36
Speaker
He popped up 128 points, and all the guys who didn't play, I think I saw somewhere, was like only 8% of all super coaches played Joe Chan. And that's obviously the differentiation that I got for last round. So super happy with how I went.
00:02:52
Speaker
But I want to go through TLT because I think that's obviously going to be important moving forward. Look at that, multimodal. So first game of the round, Thursday night, 8 p.m., Four Pines Park. And that's worthy to note because Manly are an absolute fortress of Four Pines Park.
00:03:09
Speaker
Tommy Turbo getting a week's rest, another thing coming off the bye. I'm liking this game for Manly. I really like this game for Manly. Roosters have been pretty crap, and that's probably a nice way of saying it, but their team is solid, always on paper, and I guess another week with Sam Walken, Daly Cherry Evans, and the Hark, more connection there.
00:03:31
Speaker
Stiffening up their defense with Billy Smith back in the center position. Huge note, obviously, Daly Cherry Evans playing his first game against Manly, particularly at Manly at Four Pines Park. That's a huge note.
00:03:42
Speaker
Does DCE stand up? Time will tell. ah I do like this for Manly, though. I do predict them to win. In regards to Supercoach relevant players, guys, Tommy Trubojevic, I attest, obviously, for the past first two rounds, or round one and round two, I thought he's been fantastic.
00:04:01
Speaker
I think that's really, really good to note. Could you get him in this week? Definitely. Definitely. Would I get him in this week? Really depends. Did you hold Ponga? Are you going to be rage trading another fullback out like a Keanu Keeney? But I feel like Keeney's draw is going to open up. And I'm hearing murmurs about a potential swap in there in the Titans lineup, which I'll get through soon.
00:04:26
Speaker
But in regards to Tom Trubojevic... Proving gun when healthy, coming off a buy and fresh. I think that's the biggest note. And I would really like to see Tommy Turbo pop off just to sort of differentiate in the pack. i know some of the boys in our group chat have Tommy Turbo. So for them, I really hope he does pop off.
00:04:46
Speaker
Is he my team currently? No, but at $692,000, I could definitely make that happen. um With a break even of 30,000, Probably going to make some cash inevitably.
00:05:00
Speaker
We'll see. We'll see what happens there. Some other super coach relevant players. Tolu Kola, I think he's an absolute gun. If you're looking for that primo center alongside Herbie Farmworth, I think he couldn't go too far away from Tolu Kola.
00:05:13
Speaker
Yeah, gun. Fogarty wouldn't pick him up. Another guy, super coach relevance, Teniel Paseca. Cheapy, looks like he's getting a bit more confidence back in the calf because obviously with the Achilles injury,
00:05:26
Speaker
They do start slower. And he's averaging 55 minutes, which I thought that was going to be the concern coming back and due to minutes restrictions. However, Paseca's playing those 55 minutes with a good base and power. i do predict predict i do predict him to play better coming off a bye.
00:05:43
Speaker
Could be sneaky downgrade for a guy like a Kulmatangi coming off the bye or a Payne Haas as well. Worthy to know to free up cash elsewhere. Oluquatu could be Smokey Chat um in regards to a bit of a pod play. Would I get him in this week?
00:05:59
Speaker
Probably not. I still would like to see a little bit more volume from Oluquatu. Supercoach relevant plays in regards to the manly, ah not manly, in regards to Sydney Roosters.
00:06:10
Speaker
I think we have to start with our boy James Tedesco 825k with a mega break even of 132. I think he's going to lose cash. And I would probably wait until the buy, which I believe, going off my screen here.
00:06:27
Speaker
They've got the buy in round five. So a round six pickup. If he can drop some serious cash against Manly, I would love to see a potential pickup maybe round seven.
00:06:38
Speaker
As we've talked about in the podcast before, guys, Cronulla Sharks are notorious nerfers or debilitators for fullbacks in Supercoach. So if you could potentially get two more price drops out of um James Sadesco,
00:06:53
Speaker
You could maybe get him for around 750K, which could be huge. And then he's almost a must-get. Hopefully Keanu Keeney can bridge the gap there slightly and then an easy trade up to Tedesco from Keanu Keeney for those owners like myself. I think that's a great get against some pretty mediocre defenses in regards to Newcastle, St. George, Broncos, Titans, Cowboys. That's a huge, juicy run for a guy like Tedesco.
00:07:18
Speaker
will see. We'll see. Some other guys who, again, super coach relevant, probably like a Robert Toya if you're looking for a bit of an upgrade off like a Moses Leo or potentially like a Femani, one of those cheapies. You could probably bridge that gap again if you downgrade a guy like Key on a Payne Haas.
00:07:36
Speaker
Sam Walker's another guy we could probably make comment about. He's been pretty mediocre. And looking at his scores the past couple of weeks, he's been pretty trash. Like, he's got 54, 51, and a 29.
00:07:50
Speaker
His rolling average is not good at all. He's got 117 break even. Again, another guy who you could look at getting in possibly round seven against the Newcastle Knights. You could potentially get him for...
00:08:02
Speaker
maybe 550K less. Like that's huge. Guys who are holding Sanders, like myself from the Raiders, an easy probably pickup. You only have to, again, make up a couple hundred thousand dollars. You could probably get Tedesco and Sam Walker and downgrade guys like Isaiah Yeo and Upgrade um from Sanders. So again, pretty smoky chat there. Do like that in regards to it from a Supercoach point of view at round seven.
00:08:30
Speaker
Reece Robson, another guy that you could potentially talk about. i thought he was good on his Roosters debut. However, you do get another free look, which I think is important. He scored quite well last week, scoring 65. Yeah, he's got a 44 break even, but again, you get another free look. He played 72 minutes.
00:08:51
Speaker
I predict him to

Game Previews and Player Trade Strategies

00:08:52
Speaker
play the full 80 minutes. So if he, again, another Supercoach relevant player who potentially... could be picked up at round seven against the Newcastle Knights.
00:09:02
Speaker
Now, Fahoo Watt, another guy you potentially talk about for a downgrade potential. Do we love him? Hmm... Not so much at the moment. I really think that you could probably just wait and see. He's not going to be gaining or losing too much value.
00:09:18
Speaker
He's averaging 53, 46, 58 and averaging around 54 minutes, but he had slightly less minutes last week. So that is little bit concerning.
00:09:30
Speaker
Personally, I'd be looking to upgrade Nafahu White if you were one of those owners. Probably another major talking point point is Gus Busch. Now, i was pretty high on Gus Bus. I know Adam, who ranked third in Australia last year, was high on Gus Bus. I know Chris has always talked up Gus Bus. I think all the boys in the Secret Squad group chat talked up the Gus Bus.
00:09:51
Speaker
But with 54, 53, and He's been pretty mid and it's been quite disappointing. He's got 78, 77 break even projected to lose about 13 K again, another guy you could look up to pick up in round seven.
00:10:08
Speaker
I think he's going to get down to around 500, probably 50 maybe 560, that's an absolute steal. And some other guys guys who are going to gain price, like maybe like a Noel Martin or a Howe, Gus Crichton on his day with a team that's obviously gaining, well, not gaining confidence, but they're gaining chemistry due to the fact they've got some new guys on their team. He could be a great pickup in round seven. But again, another guy I'd probably be avoiding for the Manly, not Manly, for the ah Sydney Roosters.
00:10:42
Speaker
They're pretty much the super coach relevant guys in the first game. Warriors West Tigers, Friday 6 p.m. at Go Media. I tell you what, very interesting on screen, guys.
00:10:55
Speaker
Tanner Boyd has been named, and that's monumental because I've been talking up Tanner Boyd all past couple weeks, really. I've been so high, and I was so lucky I picked him up ah in draft.
00:11:09
Speaker
But is he too expensive? I'm not sure. At 698k with a break-even of 17, projected to make, or potentially make up to, we've got projected of 96, projected make sixty three k Probably going to see that happen now with Lukey Metcalf back, which is huge. Again, we'll talk about him very shortly, but he's been absolutely killing it.
00:11:34
Speaker
He's been got a rolling average of 131, 91, 116 points. Absolute done. And I do project him to keep the goal kicking with Luke Metcalf getting ease back in at five eight I'll tell you what, he could definitely be a buy. And I'm looking to upgrade my double-chipy halfback. And he's been on my radar for a while now. But the past couple years, as you guys know, I'll be following along my journey.
00:12:00
Speaker
I love using trades. I love trades. And I've run out of trades the past couple of years. Do I just go straight up from Atkinson to ah Nico Hines or a Cleary?
00:12:12
Speaker
Or do I take that risk with a Tanner Boyd and play the long game and try to get those two halfbacks? I don't know he see if if he's a halfback three, potentially. i think if you didn't get him last week, you maybe missed the boat because it feels a bit icky having Tanner Boyd at almost $700,000. Don't you reckon, guys? um Huge note point here. has been named at At wouldn't be rushing your team at all, but
00:12:43
Speaker
Welcome back. I'm so happy to see him play. Does he goal kick? That's going to interesting. and if he is goal kicking, Tanner Boyd, definitely not a buy in my eyes. But Warriors players alike, guys like two of us are checked. The ball hasn't been going his way.
00:12:58
Speaker
But again, on his day, he could score 100 points. But Lukey Metcalf with Tanner Boyd, that could be monumental. Really love that for the Warriors. I'm really high on them this year.
00:13:09
Speaker
Another super coach relevant, guys. Another guy we definitely need to talk about is Jackson Ford. and currently currently, due to all the turmoil with the injuries and suspensions in the Ford pack, Jackson Ford is actually in my team. He's got a negative seven break even.
00:13:26
Speaker
He's got a rolling average of... 68, 102, and 120, playing close to, let's say, 75 minutes on average, playing middle and edge.
00:13:37
Speaker
um Mitchell Barnett was back last week, but James Harris was the one who was losing the minutes due to that. And obviously it's worthy to note that there are some still injuries within the forward pack.
00:13:50
Speaker
It's going to be very, very interesting. Jackson Ford, potential by absolute gun. Who would have thought? Jacob Blayman, cheapy. I traded him early on.
00:14:01
Speaker
Got a break even of nine. It looks like his role is slowly steadying out with Capewell injured. Averaging around 60 to 65 minutes, about a 45 average.
00:14:14
Speaker
I just don't think he's worth it, personally. I don't think he's worth it Roger Tull vs. Sheck, I've got him in draft, but in regards to purchasing him in, I wouldn't. Look at that break-even, guys. 121 points with a breakee with a negative 38,000 projected with 73 points scored against West Tigers.
00:14:34
Speaker
Just wait. I reckon he's going to get down to around 550K in the coming weeks. That could be a huge step up for guys like a Moses Leo or could be potentially Femani or a Tommy Chester if you're one of those cheapies there.
00:14:48
Speaker
Really good watch for Toolbuster Shek. Hopefully another low score. um Actually, no, he's in my drive. Hope he pops off. off um ah Definitely another guy we need talk about.
00:15:01
Speaker
Lekka the Wrecker Halosima. Now, guys, i want to know from you, what are your thoughts? Obviously, he's starting now. He's got a break even of four, projected to make around $43,000 $540,000.
00:15:14
Speaker
I don't know. i don't know. I love watching him play. 80 minutes round two, 80 minutes round three. Averaging about around 85 points starting, which is actually worthy to note.
00:15:28
Speaker
Could be a great buy, but I'm just concerned when Capewell comes back, does he lose that does he lose that minutes? Probably. It is concerning.
00:15:39
Speaker
But we we're only averaging 85 points starting. I do like that. And there is a bit of turmoil in the forwards guys this week. So that's another worthy watch. But they're probably the main guys for the New Zealand Warriors. Obviously, Aaron Clark is a bit of a gun and he's playing quite well in recent times of a break even 47.
00:15:59
Speaker
But he's going to average anywhere between 60 to 85 points. Past two weeks, he's got 80 and 88. Don't hate it. Don't love it. Is going to be steady? Yes. Is going to be origin proof? Yes.
00:16:13
Speaker
Hopefully the minutes stay there, guys, because if he's getting, well, he's only 55 minutes. So that's also concerning too. Obviously, base and power, very, very good. Another draft guy for me. um But we will see.
00:16:25
Speaker
i think he's a weight. He's more of an origin weight and see. But yeah, guys like Mitchell Barnett, he's going to lose cash. Fantastic. Could be pickup later on. West Tigers, dream buller, gun, but is he being super coach relevant recently? Not as much. I'm a little concerned now due to the fact that Jerome Luai has an MCL strain according to and NRL physio, and that's just nerfing him a little bit. I'm also concerned with Adam Dewey. I was pretty high on Dewey ah for this week. I was going to double upgrade both my halves.
00:16:58
Speaker
He's got a rolling average of 115 and 64 break even negative with a break gave it on negative one I just don't know. I'm scared about the Warriors. The Warriors are very good defensively.
00:17:10
Speaker
Is he not going to be as good without Dromelua there? Obviously got Jock Madden in the halves accompanying him. I'm a little bit concerned. He's still a great pickup in my eyes.
00:17:22
Speaker
ah ah don't know. ah Just the hamstring concern, guys. Obviously, they've cleared him of anything serious, but hey, it could be a ticking time bomb waiting to happen.
00:17:32
Speaker
Macassini, another guy we could talk about. Negative 37 break even. If you decide to wait on him, I'll be definitely picking him up. He's been playing center and a bit of wing as well. Probably plays center long, sorry, plays wing long-term when Terrell May, sorry, Taylin May comes back.
00:17:49
Speaker
Don't love him at center. Loses a bit of base and power, up but I would definitely be picking him up, guys. He's just got a negative 37 break even. Looks like his role is pretty cemented, at least in the starting team. Projected to make big bickies.
00:18:01
Speaker
Yeah, get him in for sure. For you guys, got Jerome Luai. He's definitely sell. He's going out four weeks.
00:18:09
Speaker
Samuel Afan, who is another guy I could definitely talk about, and he's been in my radar for this week as well. Negative 27 break even. He's been absolutely popping off the past two weeks. 109 and 81.
00:18:21
Speaker
But with no Jerome Luai, am nervous, and I'm very scared. Yeah, I just would say avoid. I would say avoid. If Luai was there, I would probably be picking him up.
00:18:33
Speaker
I just don't know what Jock Madden necessarily brings to the team. What do you guys think? Let me know on the comments. Would you pick up a guy like Samuel Alafainu or would you wait and see if for Jerome Luai to come back? Is it now or never?
00:18:46
Speaker
let me know in the comments. Terrell May, another guy we could talk about. so he's got a break even of 113 at 811k. He is very expensive. He is averaging about 60 minutes.
00:18:59
Speaker
Basin power is good at 1.0 points per minute. Averaging about 70. He's going to lose about a hundred k guys. I reckon all these 50k. I would just be waiting.
00:19:09
Speaker
Wait a couple rounds. Get Jerome LeWi back in. He'll flatten out his price more than likely. Yeah, then I look to pick him up. There's one other cheapie that we could talk about is Luke Lailihi.
00:19:21
Speaker
I'm just concerned that his job security isn't going to be there long-term. I think Jarrell Skelton is arguably a better winger than him. Luke Lailihi is going to the Perth Bears next year as well.
00:19:32
Speaker
So he's on the outer. You've got two centers who are out. i just don't know about job security, but a negative 52 break even. He's going to make big Bicky as well. If you're not confident on a guy like Femani or Tommy Chester...
00:19:46
Speaker
He could definitely be a sideways trade. I just don't know. But I also think it's now and ever, guys. So you got a 94 in round one and then a rolling average of 37 last week. Bit of rocks and diamonds there, obviously, and it didn't help with their two halves being injured.
00:20:01
Speaker
But, yeah, we'll see. We'll see.
00:20:05
Speaker
And that's pretty much the main guys for the West Tigers. Go to the next game. we got Broncos, Dolphins. i don't know. This one's a toss-up. I'm back in the Bronx because I got Reece Walsh on my team, but I've also got Herbie Farmer. So it depends who's going to be my captaincy this week, and we'll have to wait and see him about that one. But obviously, Reece Walsh, gun, absolute gun.
00:20:29
Speaker
The keynote is, though, Adam Reynolds, or the nerf, is back, and that is concerning. But Reece Walsh on his day, He's absolutely amazing. He has dropped in price, and I think he's bottomed out in price. He's got a break even at 83. I don't project him to lose much money at all, if any.
00:20:48
Speaker
I think he's a must this week. He's got a fantastic draw with the Dolphins, Titans, Cowboys, Tigers. Four games that are very good. Obviously, Doggy is going to be quite a hard matchup, but then Roosters Manly, pretty good.
00:21:02
Speaker
Warriors, they'll be pretty tough, but then Dragons, Titans,
00:21:08
Speaker
South, Roosters, and then obviously you've got Origin mixed in between there. I think it's probably time, guys. If you didn't get Recy Walsh in your team, I think he's a must. ah Yeah, he's a gun, guys. He's an absolute gun. Get him in your team.
00:21:23
Speaker
Captaincy option every single week. At least a VC at a minimum. Caterney Staggs is another guy we could talk about for a primo center wing option. He's just rocks and diamonds. He's pissing me off at the moment um in regards to my draft.
00:21:37
Speaker
But he does like to drag a try and he's been a little bit more consistent. But he popped off when Adam Reynolds wasn't there. And again, is it the Adam Reynolds curse, guys? I don't know. Reynolds is a great player, but all these guys seem to be getting more points when Reynolds is not in the team.
00:21:52
Speaker
probably the biggest guy to be talking about with the Bronx is Payne Haas. He's got an AC joint aggravation. And I've seen in the past with Payne Haas, actually from NRL physio, he had it in 2022 and he was averaging like close 80 points or 70 points, whatever I saw. And then he tried playing through it. He averaged 50 points, then took a couple of weeks off and then came back and then got a couple of hundreds in a row.
00:22:20
Speaker
So Does he rest a couple of weeks? If he does, he might be a trade. But personally, want be wasting trades at front row, let alone for Payne Haas.
00:22:31
Speaker
I'm going to hold at least one more week until we get more information unless we hear otherwise beforehand. ah But it is concerning. it is concerning for a guy who is in the middle and has such a high work rate.
00:22:42
Speaker
Don't love it. But I wouldn't hate you if you are decided to trade Payne Haas out. I do project his minutes to go down though. But AC joints are more of an injury ah pain management sort of issue. So we'll see about that.
00:22:58
Speaker
Patrick Carrigan then comes to the other hand, guys, because if Paynehurst is out, Patrick Carrigan probably has to take up the slack. He's got a break even at 52, dual position. I've had a bit of affinity for Paddy Carrigan.
00:23:11
Speaker
Past two weeks, he's on about 75 points. So he's making about 130 grand more than projected, when averaging. Don't hate it. Plays 80 minutes, or I definitely see him playing 80 minutes now that Payne Haas isn't there.
00:23:25
Speaker
Could be a cheeky buy, could be a downgrade potentially for Payne Haas. Payne Haas to Patrick Carrigan, don't hate that at all. Another guy I could potentially talk about in regards to the Brisbane Broncos and his absolute smoky chat is Xavier Willison.
00:23:41
Speaker
Now, dual position, four hundred and seventeen k and it really depends how depends on how long Payne Haas is out for. Because if he's out for a while... Xavier Willison's probably going to get around 50 to 55 minutes. And in the middle, which is obviously the key point, he could be with some value at a mid-range 2RF, FRF dual position, particularly guys like Trey Mooney and the likes being injured, Lasati as well. You could slowly shift some guys around. to play and hold some other guys.
00:24:14
Speaker
Don't hate that. Shibasaki, still a name on the bench. I projected to actually get minutes this week due to the fact that Payne Haas is not there. he might get some back row minutes. So he's going to lose cash.
00:24:27
Speaker
Break even of 162 guys. We could be getting a Shibasaki Queensland Australian representative for around 500K in the coming weeks. Definitely a sell if you still have him. You dodged a bullet last week.
00:24:40
Speaker
But I tell you what, he could be a buy. He could definitely be a buy in the coming weeks. Fins up. Looking at the Dolphins now, guys. Few supercoach relevant players here. Definitely in regards to Herbie Farmworth.
00:24:54
Speaker
Now, for the guys who avoided Herbie Farmworth, congratulations. You come out on top. But last week, he was on 69 points at halftime. And then, I think, got like, what, 85 points.
00:25:05
Speaker
So you really had dodged a point, guys, because he could have easily gone 120, 130 against a Sharkies team. But he's that average, guys. He's 75, 78, 85. He's not going to lose money. He's not going to make money.
00:25:18
Speaker
yeah congratulations. You got 20K cheaper Herbie Farm worth. But I think the points are there, obviously. Points do matter. And again, he's a vice captain, captaincy option almost every single week. Against the Broncos, who are very leaky on the edges at the best of times, I think he's a must-buy.
00:25:33
Speaker
Personally, i think you've you've had your win. Now put him back in. Put him back in for sure. Jermaine Asako. He's always at the top of supercoach teams here and there um in regards to points scored for the entire supercoach season.
00:25:52
Speaker
With 98 points last week, that rolling average is going to be significantly better. However, ah just don't see them ever going left. Like, again, 79, 41, 98, they always go left. Sorry, they never go right.
00:26:04
Speaker
But they've got a guy who's actually popping off, which goes hand in hand with Fene Fouillaki. Now, I would love to get him in, and I just don't know how I'm going to do it.
00:26:16
Speaker
i could avoid Jackson Ford and get a guy like Fene Fouillaki, who's getting 8,200 73.
00:26:25
Speaker
I love it. 80-minute performance, huge base and power now. And that was the the big inkling in here or the big... hamstring into his performance the past couple of years, that is now not even a thing.
00:26:39
Speaker
His base and power is 50 plus every single week. I wish I got him in last week. I wish i had the balls to do it, but I'm still happy to get him in. I think he's severely undervalued. Again, negative one break even.
00:26:50
Speaker
Probably going to get another 70 points. He's going to make it like another 70K. He could be 650K in no time. So at 542K, absolutely love that.
00:27:01
Speaker
Hamiso, tab your wife, doh. Yeah, he's a pod. He's definitely a pod option. Is there better fullback options out there? Yes, I'm a little bit concerned with the Dolphins lineup coming up. And that's the only thing turning away from Fener Fouillaki because you got Broncos this week, which could be very tough. Manly could pull their finger out and be all right.
00:27:22
Speaker
But then here, this juggernaut lineup. Panthers, Warriors, Melbourne, Dogs, South Canberra. Like all those teams could be... Top four, arguably.
00:27:34
Speaker
So, Hammer, who relies on a lot of attacking stats, those teams very good defensively, so I would avoid a guy like Hammer so. But Fenne Fuiarchi could crash out for a try. Or it just gets a line break or a line break assist.
00:27:49
Speaker
I don't know. I like Fenne Fuiarchi if you're getting one in. Hope you find one with definitely. Everyone else. Probably will be avoiding. Tommy Gilbert, he's been pretty good the past couple of weeks with 71 and 65.
00:28:02
Speaker
Averaging around 50 minutes. He got 44 minutes and 55 minutes. His minutes do look like they're increasing ever so slightly. He could be a sneaky buy. Definitely a draft pick up for sure.
00:28:13
Speaker
ah do like that. I did have him originally for draft, but then he did a effing plotter move. He got 26 points. So a bit bit off him, but definitely a chance. Maxi Plath, 88 break even. Supercoach relevant last year, but I'm projecting to lose some cash. So I'd be waiting on him. Probably going to get dual positions while hooker second row ah Average 60 minutes last week, which is worthy to note.
00:28:36
Speaker
Probably see that maybe slightly increase even more. Don't love him at Hooker. Don't love him Hooker at all. Maybe wait for that dual position come out, guys. That is the Broncos game Friday night.
00:28:51
Speaker
Next game, Saturday, Doggies versus Newcastle Knights. There's a couple guys that we could talk about here, one of them being Jacob Coraz. Now, Jacob Coraz is in my draft team. As you guys know, I picked him second overall, and I thought that was a bit of a reach, but then he popped off in Vegas, and I was over the moon.
00:29:08
Speaker
Then all of a sudden, he ah they had the bye, and then he did absolutely shit all because he hurt his shoulder last week, and he got 28 points. So with 99 and 28 in his rolling average at 746K with a shoulder issue, is on the left edge outside of kick out and critter, but he's got a break even 113. Personally,
00:29:34
Speaker
I would probably sell just to the fact that he's got that shoulder injury. um Potentially you can make, I probably would say make cash. You're probably going to lose a bit of cash, guys.
00:29:45
Speaker
And then, yeah, Newcastle going to be crap, but then you've got, Rabideau's left edge, which means right side would be Jack Wyden and Campbell Gray. That's pretty stout defensively. And then obviously the Penrith Panthers. So i do project him to lose cash.
00:30:03
Speaker
So get off now while you can. ah He maybe gets down to like 600K and then he's a must buy. Again, perfect timing for those cheapies who are probably going to be maxing out in price.
00:30:15
Speaker
Krita, another guy we can talk about. I put him as VC last week. A little bit disappointed in kick on after halftime. I was like 60 plus points at halftime. But yeah, 76 points. I don't know if it's match fitness or engagement. It was obviously wet last week.
00:30:31
Speaker
He's still goal kicking. He's on a good team. don't know. don't know. Krita, is he a buy? Potentially. still He's making more than he's a...
00:30:43
Speaker
Then he's valued at, which is worthy to note. But is he a must-buy? No. Definitely could wait another week. I'd probably be waiting post... ah What game was that was?
00:30:55
Speaker
I'd probably be waiting post-Panthers game. So maybe around seven, along with ah some of those Roosters boys. could Be very juicy.
00:31:03
Speaker
Kick out, probably be avoiding. Burden, Galvin, avoiding... Yeah, they're probably the main guys to be looking at, guys. Karaz, Critter. Jacob Preston, definitely another guy we could talk about. Breakeven of 45, running off Lockie Galvin's hip.
00:31:19
Speaker
Projected to make 22K at $684,000. Definitely a primo second roller, but he's a try-score any given week. 80-minute player, 97.78 in his rolling average.
00:31:31
Speaker
Could be absolutely gun-ho. But again, that Panthers game scares me ever so slightly. He'd be marked up against Dave Fafida, Latrell Mitchell in the coming in next week's game.
00:31:42
Speaker
And then, yeah, i think Liam Martin and Alamotti. So again, some pretty good defenders in the next coming games. Again, probably a wait and see.
00:31:55
Speaker
Next game to talk about, Saturday, Panthers versus Parramatta. Now, there is a lot of... Oh, sorry. I missed ah the Newcastle Knights. Sorry. um Fletcher Shupp is named, which is huge.
00:32:09
Speaker
Now, he has had that PCL injury. i am concerned. And without Caelan Ponga there and without Dylan Brown for at least the next month, I would just be avoiding every single Newcastle Knights player. I just cannot trust it.
00:32:25
Speaker
Could he pop off? Yes, absolutely. Could he potentially gun-ho score 100 points? Yes, he could. He's that good. But at 730k, 98 break even, I think he's just got a bottom-out of price. i think he's going to get down at about six hundred k That's got to be my projection. And then, bang, Pezzet to Fletcher Sharp will be the easiest trade all of your life.
00:32:51
Speaker
Definitely could be proven wrong, but without the attacking upside of some of those Oponga end of... What's his name? Ponga and Dylan Brown. I'll just be avoiding, guys.
00:33:02
Speaker
Trey Mooney, suspended. I understand if you do sell, but 50% of teams still have him. Dual position. You probably should have enough dual positions in your team to hold out, guys. He did lose some ah cash generation due the fact he got Simbin at the very end of the game.
00:33:17
Speaker
But yeah, I'd hold him. The wingers, Dom Young and Marju, again, I'd just be avoiding You haven't got Dylan Brown. You haven't got Ponga. Fletcher Sharp's first game back.
00:33:31
Speaker
Again, Gagai, same thing. Brad Van Best, same thing. But Dylan Lucas, I'd be avoiding as well. Not doing red hot. 103 break even. He's going to lose some money. He's going to get down to like 650K.
00:33:44
Speaker
Again, another guy you could be look picking up in the next month or so.
00:33:49
Speaker
Now it's actually the next game. So Panthers versus Parra. 430, 430.
00:33:54
Speaker
Oh, the Penrith Panthers. They are so back. They are so, so back. Are they going to win the championship? Probably. They look that good. Dylan Edwards, welcome back to relevancy. He's been so good. Does it have a break even 90 points? Do you put them in?
00:34:11
Speaker
Potentially. Potentially. Does rely those attacking stats. 93, But that 85 drop 65, savings is 85. only average.
00:34:19
Speaker
but that eighty five drops average is only the average Got Melbourne, got the dogs. I'll just be avoiding probably until round seven. Familiar round, guys, because that's when the bloody roosters, will be bottoming out. You're going to have some hard decisions. I'll be saving your boosts, be honest, guys. Probably round seven and round eight.
00:34:37
Speaker
Good time to double boost then. So if you can hold those boosts for then maybe the next two weeks ah or at least three weeks, I reckon that's a great idea. Isaiah Yeo, fantastic last week. 51, break even.
00:34:52
Speaker
Jack Cogger is back. That is worthy knowing. He had a HIA. Probably going to be around 65 minutes. I reckon he's just going to be around that 60-point mark. He might get attacking stat, which bumps up to 70 points. Is he a major sell?
00:35:05
Speaker
No, I think there's other fires to put out. Yeah, would avoid selling, would avoid buying. I'll just hold. Jose Papaliti, past two rounds, averaging over 70 points, definitely undervalued in that regard.
00:35:21
Speaker
Liam Martin is back. Does he play 80 minutes? That is the actual question. I am concerned regarding that. Dual position, though, do like that. Played 62 minutes last week. I do project him to probably lose minutes again.
00:35:37
Speaker
If you got him in... If you got him in, I reckon you maybe squeeze mom all week out, get that last bit of cash gen, and then I'd probably look to sell as he tops out in price. The next guy we got to talk about, guys, it's the milkman.
00:35:52
Speaker
It's Thomas Jenkins. Who would have thought? I was slagging him um in the NRL draft when someone picked him up. So I didn't think because I thought Targo would be playing. Tell you what, Thomas Jenkins, I apologize, mate. Well done. 14 break even.
00:36:07
Speaker
Past couple of rounds, he has scored 104, 76, 134. That left edge out with Alamotti looking so fire. But in the Parramatta Eels, they could be putting on a monumental amount of points.
00:36:22
Speaker
It just feels yuck getting Thomas Jenkins at $700,000. And he's going to make more cash. He's going to be like $730,000 next week at a minimum. so Is he a buy?
00:36:34
Speaker
Potentially. It could be said and forget all year, personally. But I'd rather Herbie Farmworth. rather Herbie Farmworth. There's couple other guys. Cal Iro, think Underpriced as well. But yeah, would avoid buying. But if you got him, well done. Hats off to you.
00:36:50
Speaker
Nathan Cleary. If you've avoided Nathan Cleary at the start of the year, I think you've done a good job like myself. 65, 109, 69. So drops out. rolling average of like eighty five is he a musket
00:37:05
Speaker
I think he's matchup proof. Chris has talked about that in multiple occasions. I do i am a little bit concerned with Melbourne and the Dogs coming up. But after that, the draw just opens right up.
00:37:16
Speaker
And then he's almost a hold up until maybe past maybe you pass origin i Probably gets rested, maybe sell then. But against Parramatta, I think get him in, guys. definitely get him in 69 points 808k i think it's time to get off those cheapies maybe hold sanders if you got atkinson and sanders you definitely got upgrade at least one brian toto another pretty super coach relevant player uh 18 48 break even if he scores a try he's getting close to 80 to 100 points doesn't score a try he's getting around 50 to 60 points in baseman power
00:37:53
Speaker
He's a gun. is he Would I get him in? No, I think there's other guys who are better in regards to relevancy, but don't hate the pickup. Now, next team, Parramatta Eels.
00:38:07
Speaker
Not overly super coach relevant in terms of who they've got, but we'll mention a couple of guys. And I guess one guy is Jonah Pezit. So i almost ray traded him so badly. And I'm glad I didn't because the past couple of weeks he's done all right. He's got last week, he got, or the week before, and he got 82 and then a 50 because that 17 has dropped out of his rolling average now.
00:38:30
Speaker
He's just a smidge under $300,000, negative 37 break even. I think you can pick him up. Just the Panthers. He's probably going to go 20 points. Is he a must-get this week? no Is his cash generation going to stall? Most likely.
00:38:47
Speaker
is he a good ah stepping stone to the next guy? Absolutely. I think he's proven that. He's got a pretty good short-kicking game.
00:38:57
Speaker
Some other guys we could potentially talk about Isaiah Yongey. Again, with Caelan Ponger injured, there are just better guys. Guys, you know my philosopher my philosophy.
00:39:07
Speaker
Don't get good players on shit teams. Okay? I don't think Parramatta's that good. Does he play Origin? No, so that's one thing to consider. But with other middies around, like Sulphur Longo, probably get a Recy Walsh, maybe Keanu Kearney with Jaden Campbell back.
00:39:24
Speaker
Yeah, obviously flex position. I just wouldn't get Iongi, personally. Jermaine Hopgood, he's a must-sell for owners. He's still at 11% owned. to um Yeah, ACL. That's all have to really say about that one.
00:39:36
Speaker
Mitchell Moses, just don't like it. I never liked it at all, all offseason. Rolling average of around 58 points the past couple of rounds because, again, that 40 drops out.
00:39:47
Speaker
He's at value, and he's versing the Panthers. I don't like it. The guys who got Kelma Tualangi from that um mega score that he got a couple weeks ago. yeah don't love it. Don't hate it.
00:40:01
Speaker
Looking pretty good though. Negative seven break even. Could score a try any given week. Kartoga, one of my supercoach heroes from last year. Got a pretty good score last week in 93 with 41 break even.
00:40:13
Speaker
Again, not a guy that's overly relevant. Next game, we got Cows versus Melbourne, and there are some guys we definitely need to talk about here, and we'll start with the Cowboys here.
00:40:24
Speaker
And Scott Drinkwater, take your hat off because i was sledging you so bad last week, but tell you what, you did good, mate. You did very, very good. Also, think it was going to drop a lot of cash, but he didn't. He's maintained. ah He has lost a little bit, but with that new score, 93 in his rolling average, he's done quite well ah with the 21 dropping out, which is unfortunate. But the 58 and the 96 last week, ah just the Cowboys are shit.
00:40:51
Speaker
I just want to get them in. Melbourne this week, definitely not a buy, but the draw... pretty tough actually you got St. George who are pretty stout defensively overall Broncos can be good Manly who knows Sharks guns Bulldogs guns and then you're close to origin time probably around 11 12 I'd probably look to get him in hopefully he drops under that 700k mark that'd be really nice Jackson Perdue is definitely the next guy we need talk about. 73 and 115. tell you what, round one, he could have easily got 70 plus points. He was so close to breaking the line at Vegas.
00:41:30
Speaker
But last week against the Gold Coast Titans, thank you, Jackson Perdue. You finally did something for me. And he was another guy who, uh, Helped me climb the rankings. At 30% owned, he's got a full break even. Personally, I think he's 5'8", 1.
00:41:45
Speaker
For the price, for the role, for the potential upside in scoring, attacking points. Obviously got Munster and Sharp there, but they've got a bit more playmaking responsibility. Purdue's just run and gun. um And if Drinkwater looks all right, that's obviously promising. But again, they've also got Coast Titans, so take that as you will.
00:42:01
Speaker
Heel and Lukey, another guy we talk about is a middie in the second row position. 32 even.
00:42:07
Speaker
Does he play Origin? I'm not sure. Past two weeks, 57.63, so averaging about 60 points. Definitely undervalued by over 100,000. Would you get him in? Yeah, potentially.
00:42:19
Speaker
i think he missed the boat last week, though. I think last week was the time to get him in. And I think, yeah, Reid Marnie, definitely guy we can talk about. Yeah, he's done. Guys, get him out. 62, 56 minutes past two weeks.
00:42:36
Speaker
Averaging 37 points past two weeks. He's a sell. If you can maybe sideways trade to maybe like a Simpkin, maybe like a Bailey Haywood, but guys pay up, get the double get the double gun. Actually, I'll rephrase.
00:42:54
Speaker
You can probably spend spend slightly more and get a guy like Rizzi Robson. that might be the um there might be the go. Tommy Chester is another guy we can be talking about.
00:43:05
Speaker
He's in my team. He's in a lot of teams. He's 50% owned, fullback, center wing dual. He looks very good round one and two, but then that Sinbin last week and the penalties and now he's suspended.
00:43:17
Speaker
And now Jackson, not Jackson, Zach Labot. Zach Labot's back in that team I have to tell you what if they win this week. No guarantees coming back next week. So I do think he's a hold.
00:43:31
Speaker
Do think he's a hold. And I tell you what, it's probably not the worst thing versus Melbourne Storm because that could severely hamper his cash generation as well. So that's worth it in a note.
00:43:43
Speaker
Now, Tommy Dearden, yeah, we'll give him a shout too because, again, he's a Queensland origin folk hero. Would I put him in? No. Halfback only. Don't love it.
00:43:55
Speaker
And he's been pretty mid, to be honest. Like last week, he scored 53. He's got a rolling average. Oh, he's got a break in 109. Projected to lose big bickies. He could get down to about 550K, guys.
00:44:09
Speaker
So, yeah, he just has not been good. But the Cowboys have been very mediocre. I would love to see Tom Dearden get that dual position. i just don't think he's a halfback. In origin, yeah, I can see that because you've got so many guns around him, like with Walsh and Munster or a Ponga, depending on you've got the back there or Hammer.
00:44:27
Speaker
But for this Cowboys outfit, don't love him at halfback.
00:44:32
Speaker
Now. Let's talk Melbourne Storm because I think that's there's so many guys, and I'm so glad I did my trade for Ponga to Sulphur Longo. I wish I did it earlier on, but they have so many Supercoach relevant guys.
00:44:48
Speaker
And let's talk Joe Chan because he's probably the most popular at the moment. He's 22% owned. Guys, who the hell did not get Joe Chan in absolute bots? Negative 37 break even.
00:45:00
Speaker
Projected to make big money again this week at four hundred and forty four k ah Work rate's really good. Off Jerome Lewis. Oh, not Jerome Lewis. Jerome Hughes is hip. Potential score every single week. 128 in his rolling average against the North Queensland outfit.
00:45:16
Speaker
I love it. Get him in. Have to get him in, guys. Jerome Hughes, another guy super coach relevant. Yeah. Jerome Hughes, 7,302.
00:45:28
Speaker
He's underpriced based off his rolling average. Don't hate it. 38 break even. Definitely relies on attacking stats and scoring tries. But with 102 in his rolling average, definitely could be a a good get, particularly if you're trying to get off the double cheapy halfback. Don't hate it.
00:45:47
Speaker
Does love an injury though. And a 6% own, he is a bit of a pod, which is worthy to note. Now, Sufa Longo. Gunn already made 149K. We knew he was undervalued. And I told everyone offseason, guys, you know I've said this all offseason.
00:46:04
Speaker
I'm just bit concerned. bit concerned that if you didn't get him in last week, it's going to be too late now. It's 661K. is very expensive.
00:46:15
Speaker
But 116, 155, 79, 79. hundred and sixteen hundred and fifty five seventy nine I think his base at a minimum on a bad week is going to be 65 points. He just loves breaking tackles. He's always going to be sniffing around the line for a line break or a line break assist.
00:46:30
Speaker
And then he's just got that X factor. He's always going to be able to score a try. So yeah, as he's 10% owned, I think you're silly not owning him. And I regret not doing it earlier on. I just ponga, ponga, ponga. Another thing I talk about is Cameron Munster.
00:46:46
Speaker
So He's averaging 60 points in the past couple of weeks. Obviously, the 80 drops out for next week. Is he must-get? No. He's got a 92 break-even now. He's going to lose some cash. He's probably going to $650,000.
00:47:03
Speaker
Maybe more because Panthers, Warriors, they're pretty good defensive teams, as we already talked about. Canberra can be good defensively when they want to be. i would be avoiding Cameron Munster and let his price drop.
00:47:14
Speaker
Stefano Ukimanu. Now, he could be a buy. Now, he's currently at 7% owned. Good pod. 65, 81, 71 at around... sixty five eighty one seventy one at around 56 minutes, if you take the average on 60 minutes the past two weeks. If he's averaging 60 minutes, fantastic base and power, great tackle busting, probably around minimum 100K undervalued, which is fantastic, probably 150K.
00:47:43
Speaker
Payne Haas' injury does concern me, and you could say
00:47:48
Speaker
Don't hate that at all. Keon Kourmatangi also on the buy. 100K cheaper. Doing similar output. Tell you what, I might be talking myself into Stefano Ukimanu.
00:48:01
Speaker
Guys, I'm in with comments. Is Stefano sneaky buy this week? Let me know. I'm really curious to hear what you guys think. Next guy up, Harry Grant. Halfback one. i Sorry, hooker 94, 108, 47. Broncos are pretty good defensively in the ruck last week.
00:48:21
Speaker
But with the Cowboys, don't love it. Cowboys are going to get absolutely smacked bang from Harry Grant. He could be a vice captain option this week. Really liked that.
00:48:32
Speaker
But then again, Panthers, Warriors. Is he a buy this week? If you have Reid Marnie, You could maybe get away until getting Harry Grant until round eight against South Sydney.
00:48:49
Speaker
Honestly, don't think it's going to be too much different in Price. You could go a Rhys Robson. I just don't like Panthers Warriors. like I think they're just gonna be two good matchups. But, hey, happy to be proven wrong.
00:49:03
Speaker
Next game Sunday, GIO, Sharky's Raiders. Again, some super coach relevant players here. And we'll go straight to the Raiders.
00:49:15
Speaker
Now, I thought the Raiders are improving, which is important. Ethan Sanders is gaining confidence. And I really like to see the Rook taking on the line with like two minutes to go, trying to score that try.
00:49:26
Speaker
um Who was his name? Connor Tracy say that try on him. I love to see that from Rookie, which is important. But so let's talk Sanders. Is Sanders the best chippy halfback available?
00:49:39
Speaker
Yes. At 325k, he's a slow burn. He's already made 78k, 22 break even. Probably going to average around 50 points for this year. So he's still got a little bit of cash to make, but I wouldn't be rushing to get him in your team. He's, yeah, he's that 94 drops out of his break even. and Once you get past the Sharkies, guys, I don't maybe hate getting him in.
00:50:04
Speaker
Like the Sharks, obviously, again, I'm saying they're very good defensively. But then you've got Newcastle, South, Melbourne, West Tigers, Gold Coast. He could be a buy up until round 10.
00:50:16
Speaker
And then you could maybe look to pivot to a more established player, again, like those Sam Walkers, maybe Tommy Deard, and all these guys who are going to be bottoming out in price, Rome Hughes potentially.

Supercoach Trading Strategies and Timing

00:50:26
Speaker
But, yeah, that's a hardback. Tamale, cheapy, Hero from last year. Absolutely popped off last week. Great base and power, but does rely on tries.
00:50:39
Speaker
And against the Sharks, who again are good defensively, he had like 27 hit-ups last week or something stupid. Like fantastic. 100 points. Is he musket? No. Is he a pot option? Definitely at 2.9% owned.
00:50:53
Speaker
Next guy up, Huddy Young. I would love Hudson Young. I really would. And I probably could if I got rid of Payne Haas. I think I was like 3K off. mate When at the end of this podcast, again, YouTube's the best option for this one because i'm going to put my Supercoach screen on after I go through the team reveals. But let's see if we can get Hudson Young in my team.
00:51:16
Speaker
But Hudson Young, 750K, break-in 88. So it's definitely not must-get. And against the Sharkies, against a good defensive team. Yeah. But again, the Bulldogs good defensively and got 95 points.
00:51:29
Speaker
He loves a little grubber kick. like I apparently used to play 5'8 when he was a junior. So that's obviously pretty cool to note. But he's definitely the best second rower in Supercoach in my eyes.
00:51:39
Speaker
So that's worthy to note. Izzy must get no but he's definitely a luxury habit, 9% owned. K 550K.
00:51:50
Speaker
Yeah, a bit of rocks and diamonds, guys. Definitely can jag defensive... ah ah Sorry, yeah offensive stat, but a 55 break even against, again, the Sharkies, who are very good at nullifying fullbacks. I just wouldn't get him in this week.
00:52:06
Speaker
Noel Martin, unsung hero from start of the year, already made 130K. He's 57% owned. If you don't own him, you're a silly... That's all you are, you're silly. He's got a pretty good break even.
00:52:19
Speaker
which is ah not loading my screen. Hopefully my screen doesn't crash out, guys. But yeah, haven't got it on me, but yeah, still very, very good.
00:52:31
Speaker
Pretty good rolling average as well of 49.75. So he's got about 62 rolling average. Again, 380K. He's definitely got more money to be made.
00:52:44
Speaker
Joey Tarpanay, he's been a frustrating one. He was, I think, my third overall pick in draft. He's got a 96 break even. Notoriously slow starter. And I just wouldn't rush him to get him in.
00:52:57
Speaker
I think he got Sinvin last week as well, which didn't help him. But he's averaging like 51 points for the year. Pretty trash. He's going to lose some serious money.
00:53:07
Speaker
And just concerns me because the Raiders have a stacked board pack. But I actually wouldn't be surprised if he gets down to about 580k. And then he's almost a must-buy. So, particularly around origin time.
00:53:21
Speaker
Joey Tarponet could be an absolute steal. Ethan Strange, another guy could talk about with a desolate 5'8 position. 66, break even, 7% owned, definitely pod territory there.
00:53:36
Speaker
Again, sharks, they scare me. They scare me. But he's averaging around 59 points. the past couple of games. He looks like he's going to break the line every single time he gets the ball. I just, yeah, wouldn't rush to get him in, guys. I think he's going to lose a bit of cash this week too.
00:53:54
Speaker
Probably bottoms out around five hundred and sixty k which is worthy to note. Tom Starling, he's a sell, guys, but he's only a pod move. And I think that's all the major guys to be talking about. Semmy Sasani, he's been pretty good.
00:54:10
Speaker
But yeah, that's the major guys to about them. Sharkies. Sharky, sharky, sharkies. Now, how much time do I spend bashing Nico Hines and Braden Trindle?
00:54:22
Speaker
Chris, Adam, Jake, Andy, I know you're going to be listening. How much slander is too much slander because love being right. And I am also wrong because I said Braden Trindle was a buyer a couple of weeks ago after he popped off.
00:54:36
Speaker
ah Who knows? Base and power for Nico Hines. Let's start there. 122 break even.

Dragons vs. Titans Game Preview

00:54:42
Speaker
He's inevitably going to lose cash. We know this. Raiders, Warriors, Roosters.
00:54:51
Speaker
Tough matchups. Nico Hines could be an absolute buy in round eight against the Cowboys. He could be down to about 700k. If he's around 700k, guys, I think he's a must buy.
00:55:05
Speaker
The Sharks are just, yeah, they're flat track bullies. They don't like versing good teams. And I'm going to give you an example from last year. Nico Hines. round Round five, 48 points last year against the Raiders.
00:55:19
Speaker
Warriors, 48 points in round 14. And then 77 points against the Roosters in round 20. Now, he's at 760K right now.
00:55:29
Speaker
He's going to lose cash. i He might get under 700K, which is going to be wild. Braden Trindle, he is the guy for the Sharks. He is their playmaker. He is their guy who's going to get them the points. But he is so attack-reliant.
00:55:47
Speaker
Is he better than last year? Maybe. Like 22 against the Panthers, we know that. 64 against the Dolphins. I just would avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid.
00:55:58
Speaker
There's definitely a guy you could buy and probably should buy. if you have If you've got Harry Grant already, you definitely need to get Blake Braley. Base that beast, 90 points. Got to some attacking stats last week. 80-minute player, doesn't miss tackles, plays every game, touch wood.
00:56:15
Speaker
82, 60, 90 points in his rolling average at 672K. Gun. Absolute gun. He's match-up proof. He's match-up proof. Get him in. Get him in. Shouldn't have to say it again. I'm going to say it one more time. Get him in. He's not going to lose cash. He's not going to make too much cash.
00:56:33
Speaker
ah Yeah, I thought last week was the week to get him for sure. AFB, another guy who's losing cash, and that could be due to his role. He's got 92 break even, 611K, again against the Raiders.
00:56:48
Speaker
Probably pays more minutes because they've got a good forward pack, and against the Warriors probably pays more minutes. But averaging around 55, 56 minutes, probably bumps up to around 60 minutes.
00:57:01
Speaker
against the next two teams, but he's going to lose cash inevitably. So again, another guy in the next coming weeks. If you can hold on, guys, to some of these trades, it's boost time. We will be boosting in the coming weeks. So hold those trades. I'm saying that, and I have a trade addiction.
00:57:21
Speaker
Next guy up, we'll give a bit of a shout-out to Jesse Colquhoun. He's been fantastic in regards to base and power. Averaging around 50 minutes a game, 69 and 51 in his rolling average.
00:57:34
Speaker
He's still 38% owned, one break even. Probably going to make another thirty five k Is buy? no Do not buy. Avoid.
00:57:45
Speaker
um There will be a return of Cam McInnes in the coming weeks, probably the next three weeks. He's not worth Not worth a trade. you started with him, fantastic. You won. Otherwise, yeah, definitely a void.
00:57:59
Speaker
Next guy definitely talk about is KL Eero. At 94 break even at 651k, inevitably going to lose cash. Again, another guy to get down to close to that 500,000, low 55, 16 rolling average. Good defensive teams coming up.
00:58:15
Speaker
fifty five sixteen years rolling average good defensive teams coming out Man, there's just going to so many guys are going be relevant. Hold those trades. Hold those cheapies, guys, in the center wing position. I think that's so important.
00:58:29
Speaker
But, yeah, Kaleiro, 12% own. He's a hold if you have him. Definitely not a buy.
00:58:37
Speaker
And, yeah, they're probably all the relevant super coaches out there for that game. And the last game of the round, my first home game as my Gold Coast Titans, but it's Titans versus Dragons, 5.15 at CBUS.
00:58:53
Speaker
ah Let's talk Dragons first. Now, Dragons. Dragons. A few Supercouch relevant guys, but as I've always said for the foreseeable future, don't get good guys on shit teams. Toby Couchman, suspended or injured. It was one or the other. Pretty sure he was injured.
00:59:15
Speaker
Ryan Couchman, suspended. Oh, sorry, yeah. Toby Couchman, HIA. He's out. Ryan Couchman, suspended. Four weeks, I think. Yeah, four weeks for Ryan Couchman. Two of the Couchman boys.
00:59:27
Speaker
Don't buy, would be selling... Probably can hold Ryan Couchman if he got the numbers. Toby Couchman, definitely a sell. I sold him last week. Great trade. Um...
00:59:41
Speaker
Jadon Sua, premium second row buy at 29 break even, can definitely score a try. And they've got some good matchups, the Dragons. Shame they're so crap. But Titans, Cowboys, Manly, South, Roosters, Newcastle, they've got good games all the way up to them until round 11.
01:00:00
Speaker
I just do not trust the Dragons. But Sua, in the past three games, And two of those games have been against tough teams in the Bulldogs of Melbourne. He got 74 and 75 respectfully. And then Parramatta absolutely popped off and got 80 points.
01:00:14
Speaker
Is Sewell a buy? ah don't hate it. I don't hate it. Again, if Payne Haas is a sell and you got Jules, Jadon Sewell is definitely a guy on an edge, good work rate, could definitely be a primo buy. Again, another guy we could look at getting in.
01:00:32
Speaker
We will see. will see. Val Holmes, another guy who could be super coach relevant. so He's lost pretty much nothing. If you started with him, well done. But 60 break even.
01:00:45
Speaker
He's got a 94 and 80 in his rolling average. Goal kicking against crappy teams. Left side is so leaky. The left side so leaky. Bo Firmall, AJ Brimson.
01:00:58
Speaker
i think it is Fafida. And Sami, I think. But yeah, not ideal. Not ideal. He could be absolutely popping off this week. Could be an absolutely pot option at 7% owned.
01:01:13
Speaker
ah Yeah, Ryan Couchman, definitely a sell. Hamish Stewart, he's been okay at 26 break even. are the minutes like? twenty six bright a what are the minutes like Yeah, now with Ryan and Toby Couchman out for the next at least one week for Toby.
01:01:32
Speaker
Don't hate the Hamish Stewart shout. Definitely a draft sneaky pick up there. Might get him myself while this podcast goes up. um Don't hate it. But yeah, could be a buy.
01:01:44
Speaker
Especially in draft, guys, for your draft team. Setu 2. Cheapy watch. Okay. Base and power. He likes a hit up. Is he scoring tries? No.
01:01:55
Speaker
He's on the right-hand side outside Valentine Holmes. Valentine Holmes could be popping off, which means Setu 2 could be that guy. If he started with him like myself, I think he'd be happy what he's done. Again, break even of four points.
01:02:08
Speaker
One big game is just going to make the cast gen go up significantly. Is he a must-buy? No. is he... yeah Definitely not a must buy. Wait and see this week.
01:02:23
Speaker
Daniel Atkinson, the guy I'm selling, the guy I'm raised trading. Now, negative 14 break even. Firehawk, they're saying, he's going to make more cash. You're the cash king, you always say.
01:02:33
Speaker
Well, guess what, guys? I'm over it. I need points. I need to get back in the top 1%. So out of Sanders and out Atkinson, I'm getting rid of Atkinson because he's on the worst team.

Live Supercoach Team Adjustments

01:02:46
Speaker
That's my logic. And Sanders is goal kicking. He's had a pretty tough draw. Oh, I'm talking myself back into Atkinson. But no, you'll wait and see, you guys. Wait and see.
01:02:58
Speaker
Money man, Tua Pilato. just going to give him a shout out because I love the guy. Scored a try last week. Did the money try celebration. 87 break even. 622k. If he's in vi in draft Great pick up.
01:03:10
Speaker
Get him in. Good base and power. He's on Team Predator. um For the guys who know about Team Predator last week, Suli, Leciano Lelua, Tupolotu, left-hand side, all with the hair, Predator, you'll know.
01:03:26
Speaker
um Yeah, that's him. And now let's talk Gold Coast Titans. Now, I'm going to try to be a little bit more conservative when I'm talking about these guys, but I'm a little bit frustrated.
01:03:39
Speaker
Now, Jaden Campbell's back, which is obviously important to note, but Jaden Campbell can only do so much. He got two pretty soft intercept-based tries.
01:03:50
Speaker
Now... ah I don't know, man. I don't know. Keanu Keeney, if you held Keanu Keeney, I think he's been okay and he's working really hard and he looks like he wants to break the line every single time he gets the ball.
01:04:05
Speaker
67 points with Campbell in the team. Now, that is a better indicator on his performance. If you've got Keeney and you've held him, like myself, and he's 56% owned, he's definitely a hold, at least for the next couple of weeks.
01:04:19
Speaker
Give him time to mesh with JC and we'll see. Arama Howe, another guy, 315K. He's been great.
01:04:31
Speaker
Dual position. He actually might be my FRF 2 this week, which is crazy to think about. Negative 17 break even. Is he still a buy? Yes. I think he's locked down that position on the edge.
01:04:44
Speaker
Patson, I don't know what's going to happen with him, but his base and power is very good, Arama Howe. ah In draft, I've had him, but I dropped him for Xavier Willison. I'm low-key regretting that but I think Willison might have a huge game but yeah Rama Howe 63 think he's great Sam Verrill's mid-range hooker position i just think he can stretch up go get one of those primo guys Bo Fermor 82 break even don't know I think he's just looking slow is it just me is Bo Fermor looking slow
01:05:21
Speaker
I think he's turning more into a middle, but we don't have any edges. So, I don't know. But that left edge of the Gold Coast Titans is so trash. So, so trash. ah Tino Fasumalawi. Now, I traded him two weeks ago.
01:05:39
Speaker
Happy I did because he scored 46. He's losing bulk cash, and he's going to lose more cash this week. He's dual position at Sorry, break even.
01:05:52
Speaker
He's definitely a sell. And I tell you what, he could be getting down to a like 500K. And if he gets down to 500K, he's back in. He's definitely back in. And the team will get better.
01:06:05
Speaker
Now, Jaden Campbell. 0.7% owned.
01:06:13
Speaker
Gold Coast Titans. They have Dragons, Broncos. Para.
01:06:21
Speaker
By. So Warriors by Raiders, Roosters, Newcastle, Manly, Broncos again. They've really only got two games where I'd say they're out and out, going to get pumped.
01:06:38
Speaker
Every other game, I think they're winnable. And that's the diehard Titans fan saying that. so But in regards to pod moves, I don't hate it.
01:06:49
Speaker
Now, Here it could be a huge differentiation. But Nathan Cleary is only 90K more. I think you can wait one more week. And if Jaden Campbell pops off next week, sorry, this week against the Dragons and Sanders cash generation stores a little bit, he's going in.
01:07:11
Speaker
He's 100% coming in. I love Jaden Campbell. Now, we have to talk another guy, and that's Brimo. Brimo at 5'8 is just not working. I'm looking at Clarkie's rugby league and on Instagram, him a shout out.
01:07:29
Speaker
Diehard Tidans fan and member himself. But I'm seeing Brimson might be getting shifted to center and Ilias playing in the halves. If Brimson plays center, love it.
01:07:40
Speaker
At 576K, is he a buy? No, because his break even is 97. He's going to lose more cash. Now, he could certainly be a buy in the coming weeks, particularly if he gets that dual position.
01:07:52
Speaker
You can have a dual position with Jackson Perdue and Brimson. That is fantastic. Like, as a 2", I would love that. Now, that's only caveat if he's playing center. So that's very, very important to note.
01:08:08
Speaker
They're the main guys to be talking about for the tight ends. Now, let's have a look. Let's see if can figure this out. Share screen.
01:08:21
Speaker
Let's go Supercoach. Now, my team, Grant, Braley. I'm going undo my trades so i can show you what I'm doing.
01:08:32
Speaker
I have in the bank currently. currently Okay, what I'm doing at the moment. Atkinson out. Atkinson out. Querion.
01:08:44
Speaker
Now I've got Keon out. Jackson Ford in. Keon and Payne Haas are both aren't playing this week, so I feel like I have to get another front row in. Reason being, I can't risk having Paseca and Howe as my two plays.
01:08:59
Speaker
That is very worrying. That is very worrying.
01:09:03
Speaker
Ah. What to do. I've got Jackson Ford. And Jackson Ford, as we talked about in length earlier on, is it too sideways? Do I just trade Payne Haas? Like, is that wild of a take?
01:09:18
Speaker
I don't know. I'm a little bit rattled. So, let's do this. We're doing this on the fly, and this is obviously good radio for the people who are listening. Payne Haas.
01:09:29
Speaker
Gone. Traded. Fatty Vorden. Shout out. Now, let's get a guy
01:09:39
Speaker
like how goes up. And I want to get Fene Fouyaki. Now, that gives me nine hundred k in the bank, and that is absolute spice.
01:09:52
Speaker
Now, what else we can do?
01:09:58
Speaker
Trey Mooney, I want to hold. I do want to hold. But let's go Atkinson out. Atkinson out, and I want to get in Cleary.
01:10:11
Speaker
If I get Saunders out, I could get Tanner. ah Jerome Hughes, Adam Dewey. Dewey might be the go.
01:10:24
Speaker
Dewey might be the go. I am a little bit concerned. Negative one break even. No Jerome of the White, Jock Madden trash. I don't know, guys. What do you reckon?
01:10:38
Speaker
Wish Chris was here. Chris, help me. yeah um I think Sanders is a hold. Sanders has to be hold. I don't know, guys. I'm a bit rattled with my trades this week.
01:10:49
Speaker
Currently, I could do this.

Player Trading and Captaincy Decisions

01:10:50
Speaker
I don't really want to get rid of Payne Haas. So let's get rid of Keon. He's been Plotter McGee. And we'll put Howe back up.
01:11:00
Speaker
And let's get Fene Fouyaki. Cancel this. Keon out.
01:11:08
Speaker
How up. Fennefowiaki in. Atkinson out. Cleary in. 200k in the bank. There trades.
01:11:21
Speaker
Let's lock it in. Okay, I like that. Cleary. Now, let's talk captaincy options, which is important. Obviously, with the vice captain, we've got to play them early on. I've got a free loop with Payne Haas. Fantastic.
01:11:32
Speaker
That's probably the way to go, actually. Now, Early matchups, I haven't got anyone relevant in Manly or Roosters. Warriors, no one of relevancy unless I went Tanner Boyd. West Tigers, not touching the 10-foot pole. Adam Dewey, a bit nervous.
01:11:51
Speaker
Broncos, Dolphins. Now, Herbie Farmworth or Rhys Walsh? Now, Rhys Walsh could go 100%.
01:12:03
Speaker
Herbie Farmworth could go 100. Herbie Farmworth is up against Dean Marrott. No, he'd be up against Katoni Staggs and Grant Anderson.
01:12:18
Speaker
Captain C, okay. Bulldogs, Critter, no. No Newcastle. Panthers could definitely look to Captain Cleary. Definitely an option. Let's chuck the captaincy on there.
01:12:32
Speaker
But then we have North Queensland Cowboys against Melbourne. Canberra Sharks, no. Gold Coast, St. George, no. Okay. Melbourne. Sulphur Longo.
01:12:44
Speaker
Does Sulphur Longo score better than Nathan Cleary?
01:12:52
Speaker
Yes. well Yes, I do think he does. Do think he does. Great English from a bloody school teacher. All right, Walsh EVC, captaincy on fire Longo.
01:13:03
Speaker
Let's freaking go. Guys, that's tackles and tinnies. I'm absolutely rattled.

Community Engagement and Content Promotion

01:13:09
Speaker
Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Who's your captain this week? Who are your trades? Are you boosting? Are you going to hold your boost? I'm probably going hold my boost this week.
01:13:19
Speaker
Is it too late to get Fene Fouillaki? I'm rattled. Super coach round four. We're popping off. We're getting back to the top 1%. But guys, we want you to like, share, and subscribe. You know the drill. We're on Apple Podcasts. We're on Spotify. We're on YouTube. All your major listening platforms.
01:13:35
Speaker
Tell us about your teams. Tell us about your trades. Tell us about how your team is going. And I can tell you what about my team, the mighty Gold Coast Tigers. We're getting up against the Dragons. Let's freaking go.
