We are elbow deep in Brett's first tackle football season, so we've been off to the races with that, and now we have our first game this weekend. and Yeah, we've been ah we've been busy, so sorry for not recording last week. I want a whole lot to discuss. Yeah, not a whole lot to discuss, but you know we like to we like to hit it on at least once a week.

Once a week at a minimum. ah Yeah, it has been busy. Me and Jordan, the week kind of got away from us. We're going to be back with a double episode of the goal line. It'll be the preseason finale next Monday, and then we're going get into full-fledged episodes the rest of the way.

I know. I feel like it's crazy. The fall is just so nuts, dude. Like it's like back to school. All my friends are running around. Like I don't, mean but so most of my friends have like multiple kids in sports. Thankfully, you know, Stella is still a sideline sibling at this point. So, um, you know, we just have Brett, but yeah, we have some friends that have like, you know, two and three kids in sports and it's just like, go, go, go all the dang time. So there ain't no way fall is crazy.

Shane, tell us what's new on the farm. Um, not a whole lot is new. It's just kind of, everything's kind of winding down. I just still been putting some seeds in the ground to see what I can get, uh, get out of the garden before, before the frost hits. But, um, you know, all my beautiful flowers have been taking a a heat wave beating. Um, and, um, you know, they're all kind of finally dying off, but, other than that, you know, just winding down the garden season.

Hate it when the beautiful flowers take a beating. Yeah, you know, it's like that's one of my favorite parts of the garden is just like all the beautiful flowers. And then yeah you can water them, but when it's like you know five straight days of 100 degree weather, it's just like there's just there's no survival for them.

We had kind of been away from just the the brutal heat there for a little bit, man. And then it it's came back with a vengeance. came back and we've had no rain. like it's it's beena We don't know typically talk about the weather on this show, but it has been it's been hot and just freaking strange. Yeah. Literally yesterday, so we't we talk about Tennessee just being absolutely unhinged with the weather.

Yesterday, i was we were driving to football practice and just out of nowhere, like it's like a perfectly fine, sunny, beautiful day. As we're driving to football practice, clouds start coming over, look super ominous.

And then all of a sudden, there is like a dust cloud. It looks like A Buc-ee's caused dust clouds. A Buc-ee's caused dust clouds. You know, they've cleared all the land for the Buc-ee's that they're building nearby our house.

And the wind had picked up so much that literally you could not see the road in front of you because the dust was so freaking thick. So again, just wild times around here. You never know what you're going run into in West Tennessee. How close is that Buc-ee's to being done?

2026. Yeah. Yeah. i Dude, you know, we had crazy weather this spring, man. It's nuts, dude. Again, Sheena chastised us back in, uh, earlier seasons of the Chick-fil-A show. She got mad because we would end up discussing weather in our various locations for a couple of minutes at the start of each show. But I think it's interesting, man. It's definitely relatable.

Um, But this year this spring in Memphis, we actually got more rain in Memphis than they got in Seattle, dude. It was like all-time. It wasn't all-time, all-time record, but it was some like the most rain they've had in the spring in West Tennessee in something like 80 years, man. Just a ridiculous amount of rain. know, we had that huge flood back in April.

Yeah. So I think that slowed them down a lot because originally it was projected for early 2026. Now they're saying summer 2026. And one thing about Buc-ee's, man, like it's going to be done when it's done, dude. They don't rush, man. Like they, from everything I've seen, I know they just put one near my parents' house in Kentucky and like,

Just knowing how they run their operation, they're going to take their time and do stuff right. They're not going to rush just to give you a B- experience. Right, and make sure they hire the right people and all those types things. All the infrastructure is there. You're getting the A1 Buc-ee's experience the first day it opens.

yeah It's looking like late summer at this point. and I can definitely tell they slowed down, man, because when they first started it, you know that's it's literally about 12 minutes from our house. it's We drive past it until we go to the kids' practice where we do soccer and football at.

And like the first couple of months they were working on it, you can see like each day, like you kind of, you know, if you picture like a time-lapse video, you could see the progress being made. But it seems like the last few months, what whatever work they've been able to do, it's definitely been happening. Like it's not stuff that's apparent to the naked eye. Yeah. Well, I think a lot of it, I think a lot of it now is like putting in like yeah like, like you said, infrastructure, like pipes and, you know, lines and stuff like that. A lot of it's like underground stuff that's happening right now. Cause I've seen, I've seen giant trucks of like, you know, big pipes and stuff goat going in there. So yeah.

I've been to Bucky's before, so if you kind of know what but it looks like, but seeing it from the ground up, you realize just how much goes into making one. Especially in a place, you know, I Bucky's are typically in places that are just like kind of off the beaten path, you know, like little- Outside the major metro areas. Outside the major, yeah, areas. um And this this little spot in Galloway is like- nothing. It's nothing. I mean, it's literally, there's a sod farm right next door. And like, other than that, like if there's- no other business within yeah five miles. we Yeah, there's nothing. We drove past it when I was there, and I just remember you telling me, I'm like, God damn, that's a lot of fucking land for a buck. you

You know how when you're on the interstate, you get your exits where you're hitting Chick-fil-A, Hardee's, five different gas stations. You would never get off this exit for anything. Yeah, there's none of the food, gas, hotel signs as you're approaching this exit. Yeah, there's there. It's just a nothing burger.

So it's tough, man. you some death i do Like the Saturday night's main events and stuff like that are usually pretty easy. I... i support all our modern bootleggers out there dude so i got i got some pretty i got a pretty wicked collection of of modern wrestling you know they look vintage but they're really modern wrestling to you so i think that's a little bit more eye-catching than most of the shit that comes out in wwe shop nowadays jordan's got a badass shirt collection too yeah i probably got like uh from the bootleggers i probably got like 50 bootleg shirts at this point so yeah yeah i wear a ton of wrestling clothes Yeah, I used to wear a lot more. I have a pretty capsulated wardrobe nowadays. I you know keep things pretty pretty simple, but um I still have a pretty nice wrestling shirt collection. Obviously, me and Seth can wear the same size, so I just wear all his shirts too if we ever if the occasion ever comes to pass.

um yeah, I wear wrestling shirts out in the wild. I specifically like my my vintage Brett Tank is probably my most rocked wrestling item. What do you say if you see somebody with a wrestling shirt out in public? Do you talk to them or do you just not acknowledge It depends. Like. hey sweet wrestling shirt brother dude is hilarious sometimes on those shit i don't know but if i catch anybody wearing that new brawn shirt out in the wild i'm slap the shit out of them because like is are the companies just like competing to who can make the worst shirts and most uncomfortable looking shirts most of the modifix are pretty bad. WWE Shops actually has had some decent ones, but they're still mixed in with absolute ass. Just horrible freaking shirts. I will take that back. i do like If i see kids wearing wrestling shirts, I always acknowledge little kids wrestling shirts, too, because clearly like they have a fandom. I always just like to stoke their fandom, dude. I'd be like, oh, dude, love your Cody shirt. you know I think it's... ah you know she know I always speak to kids. Sheena's just like Michael Scott. She wants to love it she wants her everyone to know where priorities are at.
