jamie peacock: Welcome to The Learning Machinist, where it's just you, the work and the machines. This is the... day three and four recap of IMTS. Yeah, so
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: I feel like death warmed up.
Curt: This is going to be so fun to listen to when they're all pieced back together. We're going to hear the slow decline of Jamie.
jamie peacock: Pretty much. Well, the Instamachinists meet up. We need another bag to go home, so it's all done. I can go buy a bag. at Target like a wheelie bag. Hmm. and fill it with red bull and monster and come to the instamachinist meetup
Curt: Oh sick. Oh that's nice.
jamie peacock: Yeah, so she pulled in and I grabbed a couple red a couple monsters and just went to certain people. Okay. Yeah you go
Curt: Ha ha.
jamie peacock: Um, as you can see people are pulling amps already
Curt: Yeah.
Curt: I bet, yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: It's ah it's a long day, and then ah and then a long night with everybody, and then...
jamie peacock: yeah
Curt: Especially worse for you because you're waking up early.
jamie peacock: We've been...
Curt: like
jamie peacock: Yeah, I'm then waking up at fucking stupid o 'clock to record. um yeah we took it easy last night we went to more cellos poor cellos door cellos i don't know what the fucking place it was called Um...
Curt: Okay.
jamie peacock: And then Jacob, Jacob, Jacob. um did a dumb so well My wife did too. so i ordered like a Fuck, they know it for their hot dogs. and The end.
Curt: mm -hmm
jamie peacock: Beef sandwiches and what it's all at a hot dog um Ordered a hot dog, some onion rings, some chicken fingers for the mother -in -law and Then Danica wanted ribs. So like okay cool, but ordered on a separate thing so that It said 20 minute wait time. That way we get our food. Perfect can come when it's ready.
jamie peacock: So as she ordered the ribs not realizing it was a family -size meal.
Curt: Oh. Oh. Oh.
jamie peacock: so I ate my hot dog. This is Hot Dog. And then Jacob's like, ah, he's still hungry. He wants to go get one of their beef sandwiches. The Italian beef is also apparently well -known. So he's like, he's going to get one. I'm like, dude, I would like a bite of it. I just want to taste it.
jamie peacock: So you got the fucking big beef
Curt: Mm -mm.
jamie peacock: Chopped it in half and gave me half of it. I like took three bites. I'm like nope. I'm fucking done. I'm twofold. So yeah, we got a whole bunch of leftovers for today.
Curt: Oh, well, that's nice then. That's nice.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: You just take it all. Yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, so he just took it with us. But yeah, fucking hell, we ended up there talking shit. It wasn't a late night, I think I went to bed at almost 10. But, like, we came back and I had to go. put washing on, no, washing in the dryer and then put the towels in the washing because, yeah.
jamie peacock: So later than I wanted to go to bed and then this morning getting out of bed was A challenge.
Curt: Aww.
jamie peacock: I literally got up like five minutes ago.
Curt: Oh shit. No.
jamie peacock: Yeah, my alarm went off and I was like, i eat a fucking bag of dicks. I'm sleeping.
Curt: Let's.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Yeah, I'm... Well, I told you before the podcast, but I'm waking up every... few hours just to give the little one some some meds um from her thing yesterday which went fine so Thank you everybody who sent me messages. Everything's everything's kosher. I was just correcting a lazy eye essentially. So she's she's all red as rain.
Curt: Um,
jamie peacock: Yeah so no NASCAR just drag racing.
Curt: Yeah. Exactly, yeah. She's not optimized for cornering anymore, like you said.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Fuck, I forgot about that. I gotta tell Jen.
jamie peacock: but
Curt: She'll love that.
jamie peacock: a
Curt: ah Um, yeah.
jamie peacock: Uh, yeah.
Curt: I feel I'm.
jamie peacock: Very glad that all went well.
Curt: Yeah, thanks, dude. Yeah, it was weird.
jamie peacock: no and stressful.
Curt: We're lucky to live in.
jamie peacock: stressful Like it's your...
Curt: it You did.
jamie peacock: It's a little one.
Curt: Yeah, stressful for me.
jamie peacock: No.
Curt: yeah she's sitting there playing with like little toys in the hospital like we have a special children's hospital here which is amazing um So they got all kinds of cool shit and like. yeah we're stressed and she's just like playing with shit and we're like oh okay she's fine so she's two.
Curt: So, yeah.
jamie peacock: she doesn't have any any context for something being wrong.
Curt: that's what we're saying like there's a sweet spot between like people like if you get a little bit older like my my oldest is uh five now where she can like She can conceptualize things. um like she knows she has she has like a inject like a shot coming up an injection whatever um and she's kind of stressed about it Whereas, like, my little one's like...
Curt: fuck wherever the wind takes me, this is what we do. So it's like, it's kind of, yeah.
jamie peacock: It's interesting to see them develop. like
Curt: Yeah, totally.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: yeah
jamie peacock: No. Yeah. cute. Yeah.
Curt: Yeah, thanks
jamie peacock: with the Let's have some patience meet up. And...
Curt: Oh dude, that looked amazing.
jamie peacock: Dude, AJ's girls? were just If you didn't have a sticker, they would walk up to you and just give you a sticker.
Curt: Aww.
jamie peacock: They gave out like 500 stickers. Yeah, no super kid.
Curt: Aww.
jamie peacock: Now, that was just going in on.
Curt: Oh, I didn't know he brought them. That's cool.
jamie peacock: Yeah, no, they came for the meetup.
Curt: yeah
jamie peacock: um Yeah, so talkative one was just running around guerrilla marketing. And then Quiet 1 and Quiet 2 were just sitting and playing.
Curt: Oh.
Curt: you'd Get fair, yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Oh, that's cute.
jamie peacock: like that a little bit. they're a little bit younger But yeah. Yeah, it's been... It's been a great show though. Yeah. they did They shot a video yesterday on all the small 5 -axis machines.
Curt: Ewww.
jamie peacock: There are a lot Like there are a lot of machines of small fire vaccines.
Curt: Cool. Okay.
jamie peacock: Um, There's a fucking X -horse. and the tool dawns which are the Kickstarter ones, and then it goes to proper like...
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: medical and industrial machines. which is interesting to see.
Curt: Sick.
jamie peacock: They shot a video with the U500 as well.
Curt: Oh, cool. Okay. Yeah, I've been i've been following that little X horse just because it's so cool looking. Like just a desktop five axis.
jamie peacock: ah So I was poking at it yesterday. um There was no one in the booth, so I was like, tool change, and make it do tool changes to see how it does tool changes.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Alright.
Curt: Oh yeah. Heh.
jamie peacock: Yeah. Interesting stuff they've done there to get that all to work.
Curt: yeah i mean it looks kind of like just a little like light duty hobby machine to just piss around with like
jamie peacock: Yeah, they
Curt: I don't think it's capable of much. but
jamie peacock: So the tool dance guys had 304 stainless being machined on this
Curt: Ooh, that's a little bit more impressive.
jamie peacock: And it... Didn't look like hot shit. The... like we're discussing it while we're walking it's like Cool. That part is a... call it 30 minute part on a real machine and it's probably a five or six hour part on that machine
Curt: Totally. Yeah, totally. Yeah.
jamie peacock: It's for that hobbyist that wants to take the next level, but it's sure as fuck not production
Curt: Oh, yeah, absolutely. Kind of like the... probably even like all right pocket ncu is probably even more heavy duty then than their stuff but
jamie peacock: ah I don't think so.
Curt: I don't know. I don't know about experience.
jamie peacock: Like the...
Curt: About the same then.
jamie peacock: of the machines are having a look there in the back of the exhaust that thing's running 15 millimeter linear guards
Curt: Oh, wow.
jamie peacock: It's a c chunky boy No, no, it's a chunky boy.
Curt: Okay. Okay.
jamie peacock: Um...
Curt: Okay.
jamie peacock: So, yeah, I don't know.
Curt: Cool.
jamie peacock: They look like they... decent it's just Yeah. it's going to be a toy it's not going to be an industrial machine
Curt: Well, yeah, of course.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: yeah i Yeah.
jamie peacock: I also try to win a Wazer.
Curt: Bye. Oh, sick.
jamie peacock: but it's
Curt: I want one of those too, yeah.
jamie peacock: Instead I want a deburring tool.
Curt: Hey. That's just as good.
jamie peacock: Well... not quite but close um Yeah, I went and did a Wazer demo yesterday to book a demo.
Curt: yeah
jamie peacock: And then they give you the spiel and then they let you spin the wheel.
Curt: Yeah, yeah
Curt: Yeah, I saw a few people doing that.
jamie peacock: Yeah. um and Interesting. very easy workflow like Yeah.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Um, yeah. could use one but not willing to spend ten thousand dollars on one
Curt: Yeah, well then you're was it like corundum that uses the abrasive like I hear that.
jamie peacock: uh,
Curt: Gets expensive fast.
jamie peacock: Fuck. Garnet.
Curt: Oh okay.
jamie peacock: Yeah, so like they they they did a demo, it uses 10 kilos of garlic.
Curt: Okay. I'm not going to do the same thing right now.
jamie peacock: got it per hour.
Curt: That's a lot. yeah
jamie peacock: It is quite a bit. It's not expensive, the Garnet. It's...
Curt: Oh, okay.
jamie peacock: 10 kilos of that is... probably ten dollars if that's
Curt: Oh! okay well it's way cheaper than i thought okay i thought it was like an order of magnitude more
jamie peacock: Yeah. Yeah, it's not... No, so they... They did it demo for us the software It was a 36 minute cut and the cost was about $10.
jamie peacock: because it also quotes it. Was about just shy of $10 so not too bad
Curt: Oh shit, okay, that's not... Let's have fun. That's not bad.
jamie peacock: No.
Curt: Okay, I thought it's way higher like $100 for an hour.
jamie peacock: No, no. The guy was like... If you're cutting thin sheet metal parts and... conductive stuff Oh, reflective metal spa fabric. you're better off. um
Curt: Mm.
jamie peacock: if you want to cut other stuff like ceramics foams then the wazer starts to make sense.
Curt: Hmm.
jamie peacock: So I was like, okay, fair enough.
Curt: cool
jamie peacock: DC wasn't like, no, this is the best thing for what you're trying to do. He's like, yeah, you're probably better off with a fiber laser.
Curt: oh that's interesting okay cool
jamie peacock: Yeah. Um, I think they're also worried that you're gonna buy it and not be happy and talk shit about them.
Curt: Yeah, totally.
jamie peacock: So...
Curt: Yeah, I would assume it's for people. slobbing. thick material or want to avoid. Heating the shit out of whatever they're cutting
jamie peacock: I mean... Yeah, ah it was very interesting to actually look at some of the cut samples where like copper has a heavy taper on it even on like a four millimeter piece of copper compared to some of the other metals where it's pretty much nearly taper free
Curt: Interesting.
jamie peacock: So it's obviously just how it reacts with being hit with a rock. Um...
Curt: Yeah, yeah
jamie peacock: but yeah they're Kind of interesting.
Curt: Cool. Cool.
jamie peacock: Um, but hang on i've got my headphones in the wrong holes Maybe that's better. they keep falling out.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Um, Yeah, so we're gonna go I'm gonna go to go
Curt: yeah
jamie peacock: I do. Last night some wild shit was said at dinner. It was great. Um...
Curt: That's awesome.
jamie peacock: Yeah, today I'm gonna go hit software and fabrication i haven't really been in there i went and saw ben at otter
Curt: m
jamie peacock: um But Ducker barely wins in that hole. So gonna go zoom around that hole this morning and just get that one finished everything else
Curt: Mm hmm.
jamie peacock: I've pretty much seen everything in the holes. except for software.
Curt: oh cool that's nice
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: That's nice.
jamie peacock: um We went through the automation hall again yesterday. Not while I send you a picture. um And, yeah. ah It's been fun. Like Ash.
jamie peacock: spoke to the people who do those mineral castings and may have the beginning of a business in australia importing epoxy granite router frames because You can't really get them there And. if you can get the frame you're Halfway to building a machine basically
Curt: Yeah, I guess. and not Not a lot to them. so
jamie peacock: they're not particularly expensive either so Yeah, if you can get mineral castings. into Australia directly from China then. Yeah, sell them on and guys can build routers.
Curt: sick yeah and again good routers at that like At least you got some mass to them.
jamie peacock: Yeah, like...
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: So yeah, it's been interesting like we've seen a lot of a lot of cool shit um we spoke to the guys at the igus booth i was trying to get one of these small screwdrivers in one of the sample boxes and i spoke to them like yeah i know that i don't know any of those i'm like That was my daily driver screwdriver for a long time.
jamie peacock: till I chip the edge.
Curt: Oh cool. ah
jamie peacock: But yeah, I had a chat to them. I've got a whole bag of samples from August. as one does.
Curt: That was sick. Sick, yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, babe. They got a lot of lot of cool shit. um I actually want to go past the... Lang Booth today. and take a video of their door their door slides on the robot loading pallet system is freaking genius
Curt: Okay, cool.
jamie peacock: The it's literally just two pieces of Delrin but it's a curved door.
Curt: Okay.
jamie peacock: and the one piece of tolerance like this and the ones like this. So when it rolls... The wheels roll straight but the door pivots because the rails are at two angles to each other.
Curt: ah
jamie peacock: It's some engineer.
Curt: Oh, okay.
jamie peacock: got a solid boner when he designed that Lock.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Dude, it yeah, it's really fucking good. So I want to go get a video of that today
Curt: Yeah, i love I love that simple stuff. Like, that takes so much work.
jamie peacock: Like it's so much work to get that right. But yeah. awesomeness. Um,
Curt: cool
jamie peacock: And then I don't know if we spoke about Romald. so Uh...
Curt: m
jamie peacock: German workholding company? They put on a free breakfast for the first three days of IMTS. You just have to sign up. They don't have a booth at IMTS, but they have all their demo stuff in the... restaurant.
jamie peacock: So.
Curt: Okay.
jamie peacock: basically rented the restaurant out for a few hours you come get free breakfast and look at this stuff And then they had an Oktoberfest on Wednesday, so we went to that after the show. And since I am an industry thought leader,
Curt: gros such a cros
jamie peacock: yeah dude like yeah that makes me cringe when i hear that term um
Curt: hello No. That's worse. yeah
jamie peacock: Yeah, I might be getting my hands on one of their vases to do some content.
Curt: oh Oh, sick. Cool.
jamie peacock: Yeah, a little pneumatic, little pneumatic for us.
Curt: That's awesome. Oh nice.
jamie peacock: And also got invited to. Germany. two. go to their factory
Curt: o
jamie peacock: when we go to emo.
Curt: Ooh, yes.
jamie peacock: He's like flying to Frankfurt.
Curt: Yeah, I want to go to email.
jamie peacock: he'll They'll pick us up, take us for a tour and drop us back at Frankfurt.
Curt: Oh, fancy, fancy. Look at you, you industry thought leader.
jamie peacock: You know. Industry Forte Leathering As one does.
Curt: world.
jamie peacock: Fuck you down that tomb.
Curt: Whoa.
jamie peacock: So when someone said that, I said it.
Curt: Hmm.
jamie peacock: Ugh. Ugh.
Curt: they look
jamie peacock: Like yeah, it's worse than fucking influencer
Curt: Okay.
Curt: Yeah, influencer, I can stomach industry thought leaders. Right up there, yeah.
jamie peacock: um But yeah, anyway, we...
Curt: yeah
jamie peacock: We got you a picture to enter the Freddy competition.
Curt: I appreciate that.
jamie peacock: Yep.
Curt: I do. yeah
jamie peacock: So... like The show has wound down. Um,
Curt: Hmm. Yeah.
jamie peacock: Tuck gave out four of those stickers yesterday out of his 50.
Curt: Oh shit, okay, yeah, so it's really spinning down.
jamie peacock: It's really spinning down like Freddie we're like no no people will be chasing you down for this. He wet dinner. or it was like in the afternoon we met up with him he said hey do you want a sticker i'm like What sticker? The 3D sticker. Yeah, sure. Why the fuck not? Let's enter again.
Curt: Nice.
jamie peacock: Markets young. ah Dude, the fucking stick is great. Ugh.
Curt: her
jamie peacock: at all what is it at all
Curt: ah Rickard.
jamie peacock: y 'all
Curt: Or dick your rip Rick off or something
jamie peacock: Yes, it's it's flipping, it's good. yeah It'll tip your rip off.
Curt: Yeah. Yeah.
jamie peacock: It'll tip your rick off.
Curt: And...
jamie peacock: I like fucking A.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: That's so good. Verge out there.
Curt: That's awesome.
jamie peacock: it's yeah It's been a blast meeting all the people, getting all the pens.
Curt: Sick, yeah yeah Look at your pockets full.
Curt: Just a handful.
jamie peacock: That was yesterday. and Literally every booth that had a pen. I ended up speaking to some people I didn't really want to speak to. and i wasn't really interested in this shit just because i was stealing a pen and they managed to like grabbed me as I was going past.
jamie peacock: And I felt bad.
Curt: Just to collect it.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Like I have a boatload of fucking pens. Um,
Curt: That's awesome.
jamie peacock: Yeah, I don't plan on buying pens for the next two years.
Curt: Yeah, fair.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: You got a collection there.
jamie peacock: Got a collection. Also got some really nice ones. And this pen weighs more than all 20 of those.
Curt: Oh, yeah. Is that the Modern Fuel one?
jamie peacock: Yeah, the modern fuel one, yeah.
Curt: Sick. Yeah, it sounds better too.
jamie peacock: It's freaking sweet. Yeah. I mean... I mean. daily carrying that since since i got it
Curt: Nice.
jamie peacock: Yeah, go ahead.
Curt: Yeah, well, and thanks for sending.
jamie peacock: Yep.
Curt: Thanks for looking at Tumblr for me. ah you I ended up talking with Modern Fuel on Instagram because he has.
jamie peacock: Yeah, so he's got it
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, he's got SN1 of that Tumblr that I sent you the details.
Curt: Yeah. yeah i know i was like oh wild so anyways chat with him a little bit i'm gonna look more into it because yeah they're They're sick. They're so cool.
jamie peacock: Um. I'm trying to figure out what's happening for someone else. Now I took this tumbling time from Multiple hours down to 15 minutes with one of those.
Curt: I believe it.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Yeah, they're nuts. Yeah.
jamie peacock: Well, AJ and I were discussing building a Tumblr. The barrel tumblers?
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Just like the cheap drums but putting a server on it and making a little bit of an algorithm for that So it will go.
Curt: Okay.
jamie peacock: and do that kind of thing so that you You can basically oscillate it with the servo so you could have it go there you could at 10 hertz or 50 hertz or whatever And then spin it.
Curt: Oh, I see.
jamie peacock: because you It's been super fast because they're centrifugal.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: pulls it all to the side. So...
Curt: Totally, yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, we're discussing potentially building something like that.
Curt: Interesting. Interesting.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Because then you could go! Like. 270 degrees in each direction. and probably get a lot more efficient yeah
Curt: Yeah. and just Yeah. and just Rip. Yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah. so i don't know that's something we might we might fuck around with
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: I mean, for the price of a servo.
Curt: Yeah. It'd probably take off. It's a lot of weight that you're going to be oscillating.
jamie peacock: but It'll be so... Yeah. No, 100%. It'll be super fun. and exciting to run.
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Um, But yeah, I also had a look at how those centrifugal tumblers work. It's freaking clever.
Curt: Yeah, they're like a planetary inside of big gear. and so
jamie peacock: Uh, yeah they got belts. that do the planetary type thing so yeah so as the big thing spins
Curt: Mm, okay.
jamie peacock: uh there's a fixed pulley in the middle that the belt loops around and causes those things to spin bloody fast.
Curt: Mm hmm.
jamie peacock: but in the opposite direction so you don't have everything pushed to the side.
Curt: Yeah.
Curt: Yeah, they're kind of cool. iss like like Yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah.
Curt: there's
jamie peacock: Um.
Curt: Or not.
jamie peacock: i also saw the pocket lathe from horse it is not the stupidest thing i've seen in my life Um,
Curt: Oh, okay.
jamie peacock: the gang version is $12 ,000 cheaper than the turret version.
Curt: Oh, wow. Okay.
jamie peacock: But you can field install the turret
Curt: Uh... Okay. She'll make the call, yeah.
jamie peacock: It's a nice little light the pocket The pocket mill is a fucking joke. It's made for short Asian people. um
Curt: Heh heh.
jamie peacock: Like, it's super fucking low and really stupidly specced. Like, starting at $26 ,000, oh, the one at the show is a $50 ,000. optioned version.
Curt: Yeah. Yeah.
jamie peacock: Um... But yeah.
Curt: That's awesome. though
jamie peacock: Yeah, that's horse for you. uh but yeah so we' we're at the horse boot yesterday And I was like, hey. Why don't you do this in BT30? the chip fan combo And the guy's like, do you want a chip fan?
Curt: Mm -mm.
jamie peacock: I'm like, yes. Preferably this one. uh says hang on hang on ghost grabs all three of us a chip fan It's the 10 inch one.
Curt: Sick.
Curt: oh Okay.
jamie peacock: It's gonna be fucking terrifying in the 30 taper
Curt: okay
jamie peacock: um And then he's like, do you guys want some vouchers? I should have only got two. I'm like, don't stress, I can't use it. because i'm in south africa so yeah they've been giving vouchers away i think that's going to get even wilder today
Curt: Yeah.
Curt: I bet. Yeah, I bet.
jamie peacock: But I will say their chip fan is really nicely made. Lock.
Curt: That's good.
jamie peacock: compared to the one I had that threw a blade. This is not gonna throw a blade. It's probably in luck properly built
Curt: Just going to once again.
jamie peacock: I did.
Curt: take off in your machine. just why
jamie peacock: Well, I did consider just grabbing the ER32 wrench and pulling the long the short one out and shoving my one into the holder. to get a short one
Curt: ah
jamie peacock: Um,
Curt: Fair.
jamie peacock: But yeah, it's been... It's been a lot of fun like chatting to all the people in all the booths. Um,
Curt: That's good.
jamie peacock: chatting to the Kenner Metal guys. We were at Kenner Metal yesterday, and the guy's like, hey, do you want a beer voucher? And then he's like, you're from South Africa. I'm dating a South African. So I was like, oh. I assume you know the customary greeting of your master pulse.
jamie peacock: And it's like...
Curt: good
jamie peacock: Yes I do.
Curt: but
jamie peacock: And I gave him a buy a donkey sticker. He was fucking ecstatic.
Curt: Sick. Oh, that's awesome.
jamie peacock: Because he always says... like he always says uh by donkey to people because his girlfriend says So he says, and then people get really confused.
Curt: Sure.
jamie peacock: Sorry guys, he fucking pissing himself laughing. And it was just before the booth closed.
Curt: That's...
jamie peacock: So we went to the lady at the thing that she's got to open the beers. See you guys.
Curt: Mm -mm.
jamie peacock: She opens the first beer, what's her... And we'll give it another five seconds. Oh, she puts a cover on and gives it to us, pretends to open it and gives us the cans.
Curt: Oh nice. Nice.
jamie peacock: Yeah, so yeah, I drank a Coors Light and made it into a Budweiser when I pissed it off. um
Curt: kind of Basically, yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, pretty much. But yeah, it's been yeah it's been a blast. Like, yeah.
Curt: Oh, that's awesome.
jamie peacock: i think next next one You need to be here.
Curt: Oh. Yeah.
jamie peacock: The FOMO is real.
Curt: I'm. Oh dude. So much so.
jamie peacock: Sorry.
Curt: Like, very much.
jamie peacock: uh I was chatting to Justin and Jem is just like, nope, not going to the US. His ghost. I'm just not fucking interested.
Curt: Who, sorry?
jamie peacock: Uh, Jim. uh his co -host from parts department
Curt: Oh, okay.
Curt: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
jamie peacock: yeah it's like nope just not fucking interested
Curt: yeah Yeah.
jamie peacock: I was like... Fair enough. Sounds familiar.
Curt: Fair enough. Yeah. yeah Yeah, exactly. Bye.
jamie peacock: Yeah, and I got an 8 gig flash drive from Lang.
Curt: Fancy.
jamie peacock: I might try to get another one.
Curt: finish
jamie peacock: Then I don't need to buy flash drives for another two years either.
Curt: Sick.
Curt: I don't know the price of Ram nowadays.
jamie peacock: Yeah, fuck
Curt: Things are going up. ah
jamie peacock: I've got another flash drive somewhere here and I'm pretty sure it's going to be like a 4 gig.
Curt: Hmm.
jamie peacock: Like it's gonna be stupidly small
Curt: Yeah.
jamie peacock: Yeah, I need to I'm gonna probably have shoot a video with all the loot because I have so much loot from...
Curt: okay
jamie peacock: from the show.
Curt: Heh. So if anybody's listening to this, go find Jamie and smack him so you get all his loot.
jamie peacock: What the fuck?
Curt: okay
jamie peacock: go off me so that i spawn all my loot there like i've been dumping my pockets every day i've got a box full of stickers and
Curt: Exactly.
jamie peacock: Crap. Um, Oh god, that's a lot of shit. I've got a Datron fucking tech deck. We went there yesterday. that I was going to try and get another one. And they were literally engraving the last two.
Curt: Yeah.
Curt: that was sick cool yeah i figured those would be super popular yeah
jamie peacock: Yeah. Y 'all also got a tombstone
Curt: Oh, sick. That's cute.
jamie peacock: from Hennig. uh yeah i gave rebecca shit because the holes aren't threaded i'm like what the fuck am i meant to use use this for if i can't bolt anything to it Imagine I got that from Rebecca Wolfinger.
Curt: and Aww.
jamie peacock: um yeah met up with her uh she was meant to join us for dinner but then as she got off the bus at the hotel they're like oh no we're going for a uh business dinner so she had to go to that instead
Curt: No. Fair.
jamie peacock: Yeah, which is fine
Curt: It is a business thing. Yeah.
