Speaker: Hello, sleuth hounds. Allison here. You can probably tell by the length of this audio file that this is not a full -length episode, as we normally post each week, and I wanted to explain why. As most of you know, the majority of podcasters, like me, have a full -time job. Unfortunately, podcasting does not pay the bills. We research, interview, write, record, and edit
Speaker: on our lunch hour, in the evenings, and on weekends, most often at the expense of time with our families. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't want any life other than the one that I live. And I feel like by putting in that work, I'm being active and advocating both for and with the families whose loved ones cases we cover.
Speaker: Unfortunately, with projects at work, being sick, and time with family for the holidays, I felt that to produce an episode this week would be rushed, and these families deserve far better than that. They deserve for me to put in my best. So for that reason, I decided to continue working on the episode I'm currently writing to make the family proud, to let them know that I fully listened
Speaker: and to give my very best to them and to you. So I'll be back next week with new content. Until then, happy holiday, Sleuthhounds. Stay together and stay safe.
