We are back with another Rosebud Thorn episode. i don't have to explain. I don't have to get in my camp counselor mode this time to explain what it is, but we are recording the end of May 2025. you all know, we record these things ahead of time.

Renetta's Positive Updates

And then it's fun to look back when they get released on what has changed. So Renetta, what is your rose? Something good that's going on right now in your life? So I've got lots of roses. So my back is doing good.

so I'm happy with the team that I have now and it's helping me navigate that. And coaching in our office with Ignite DDS coaching is going pretty darn amazing.

yay so I'm pretty excited about what's to come. Very good. What about you? What's your rose? One of my good friends from college got into a residency here in Columbus at Ohio State. So she is moving in with us. Nice.

Savannah's Personal Life Joys

So yeah, we were roommates in college and back at it. So excited to have her here. And we've been long distance friends since undergrad. So super cool to have her here and show off Columbus and hopefully convince her to stay forever. You know, hopefully it goes better for for you than it did for me when I tried to convince you and Adam to stay in South Carolina. Yeah. It's it's the nieces and nephews, you know. I completely understand that.

Well, right now, garden doing thing. yeah and so I think that I'm going to have a really good year in terms of gardening.

um harvest. I'm excited about that. And then the other harvest is seeing what the coaching does for our team. It's already done wonders, but I just know it's more that's budding and I'm super excited to see just it's changing us as a team. It's changing us as individuals and just helping us all build our own self-determined future. So I'm excited about it.

Anticipations and Challenges

We got some travel coming up this summer. Big trip with like our high school friends. So that will be super exciting. and then practice-wise, hopefully finishing up like partnership documents and that sort of deal Yes.

We're almost done going having everybody go through our s SOPs. That's great. getting those – that feedback and then getting through all of those edits. so the first edition hopefully will be ready to roll.

It's kind of hard, as you know, because it's going to be just a continually evolving document, but we got to sort of start somewhere. So I'm excited to have that out and a lot of really awesome feedback from the team and people being like, I want this on the desktop of the computer so I can refer back to it. And so there's been a lot of positive from that. So that's good.

That's great. Yeah. Thorn, what what has been a bummer, if anything? feel like there's pressure to pick one because last time I didn't have a thorn. It's true.

Ooh, so I need to. The weather in South Carolina. Rainy. Hot? Humid? Always? It's weird. like Spring was so hot. We had 92 and 95 degree days.

so it's like My garden was like, what the heck is going on? Yeah. and then like It was like we didn't have any April showers, so May flowers were a little... you know Just taking a little bit of time.

So we'll see. It's either going to be like a really hot summer. Yeah. I hope it's not too bad though. Cause I won really want to see my garden flourish. How about you? Thorn right now.

haven't, my cat has anxiety. And we've been having a battle of a time. He has decided we got two cats. Snoky? Snoky. Pirogi's fine. Pirogi could care less about anything. Snoky become a daddy's boy. And to the point that he was like attacking me for a little while.

oh no. Yes. And we took him to the vet and the vet was like, he just really likes Adam. And I was like, my heart is broken. Oh, my gosh. She's like, it's nothing we can do?

Kind of. She's like, he might grow out of it. oh no. So he's on special anxiety cast. Special? I didn't even know that was a thing. No. So that's been a time. but hopefully figure Has it helped?

It has helped. And then he and I have a routine now for bonding. Well, whenever you all have kids, you guys are going to super prepared. This free cat is. He's a sweet boy. He's just misunderstood.

I think moving into the new house, really, he's always been kind of a scaredy little guy and we're figuring it out. But yeah, the vet was like, he just really likes Adam and that's his person. I brought you into this house.

and So hopefully the next update will be that Noki and I are on good terms. Yeah, keep bonding. Keep bonding. Yes.
