Sully Shaheed: No, Chili is not about to lead off the show.
Chilly: Thank you.
Sully Shaheed: I'm about to lead off the show because it is the Thanksgiving slate, the Thanksgiving special.
Baker: he He should. He should.
Sully Shaheed: And we here at the DFS Deli, of course, are here to serve you all your delectable treats, whatever's on the menu, as we will be discussing together, because we're going to talk football.
Baker: He should.
Sully Shaheed: We're going to talk food and fantasy. All the three things you need in life to succeed for this week. on the DFS deli so turn on those open signs for a special Thanksgiving episode of the DFS deli let's go
Sully Shaheed: And welcome in to the DFS Deli. I, of course, am the proprietor of this delicatessen, Saleh Ali Shahid. And I am joined tonight, as per usual, from my man Baker, live from California.
Sully Shaheed: And Chili is joining me in a windy, cold. greater Ohio area as we record tonight's episode of the ds DFS Deli. Chill. What's up, man? I know we're going to get to it more as we do the second show for the actual main slate, this Thanksgiving slate, but turns out, you know what you're doing. You had a good week 12.
Sully Shaheed: So welcome back.
Chilly: I did.
Sully Shaheed: And we thank you for joining us in all of your glory.
Chilly: I do appreciate it. Yeah. Uh, week 12 was, um, highly profitable for me. I did manage to take down one GPP and get second in another, ah almost would have taken down first had the Eagles converted to third and two, but neither here or there. I'm not complaining. Um,
Chilly: yeah we'll We'll break it down a little bit more in the in the main show. but yeah it was It was very profitable. um as you guys know, I mainly do early only and afternoon only type of slates. These type of slates like Thanksgiving ah do our is really fun. It's one of the best slates of the year. so I'm excited to dive on into this.
Chilly: hey
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, man, I know this you are the short slate specialist. So I'm pretty sure people will love to hear your opinion about what's going to happen tomorrow as we have three games, three games, three games to break down. Baker, how was your travels to California?
Baker: I mean, my plane ride didn't, you know, my plane didn't crash, which is always a positive. um My beautiful girlfriend, she's in the other room. She's trying to be quiet right now. So she doesn't pick up anything in the background. But I'm happy to be out here spending time with her, play some golf today.
Baker: Her grandfather kicked my ass today in golf. Absolutely destroyed me.
Sully Shaheed: Oh.
Baker: Absolutely destroyed. Not even close. Her brother-in-law also kicked my ass today golf. Absolutely destroyed. But we have fun.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, that's all that matters.
Baker: We are in charge of we are in charge of the mac and cheese. I don't think it's a it's a coincidence that the black guy is joining Thanksgiving and he's in charge of mac and cheese.
Baker: Just saying.
Sully Shaheed: Hmm.
Baker: She's off camera right over there looking at me all sorts of crazy. But
Chilly: I mean, listen, listen as a as the other white person in the room, I didn't know it was a thing either.
Baker: I'm just saying not it's not coincidence.
Chilly: I'm grateful that it it's been introduced into my life. So I appreciate the black community for bringing mac and cheese into the fold. So I'm grateful.
Sully Shaheed: And listen, I'll tell you, when ah when I was married um and I did the the the family Thanksgiving for the first time, I, too, was responsible for making a dish.
Chilly: Hmm.
Sully Shaheed: And I said, I'm doing mac and cheese. And then, you know, my my ex-wife is white and her family is white. So it was more so like, I've never had macaroni and cheese with Thanksgiving.
Sully Shaheed: And I'm like, ah excuse you, what did you just say?
Baker: You're going to learn today.
Sully Shaheed: So, you know, I made the bomb mac and cheese, you know what saying? And then all of a sudden, it was every year, Sully's making the macaroni and cheese. I just happen to be the black guy in the family. So, so Chili, you're welcome.
Chilly: Yeah, i'm great I think when we had a Friendsgiving, maybe at your house there in Garfield, I feel like the mac and cheese was there. It may have been the vegan mac and cheese, and that was just as good, too.
Sully Shaheed: So at one of them, there was the vegan mac and cheese that I made. And then one year, mama came through and she made the macaroni and cheese.
Baker: Yeah, Dijon's mom threw down.
Sully Shaheed: And then it was a hit. It was a hit.
Chilly: Yeah, it was good.
Sully Shaheed: The John's mama, whoo, she know how that out.
Chilly: Yeah, man.
Sully Shaheed: It macaroni and cheese.
Chilly: Yeah, there is there' is a lot there was a lot of good vegan items at the one of them.
Baker: and that's
Chilly: I was i feel like, was there vegan mashed potatoes?
Baker: but
Chilly: Give or take?
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Baker: But them vegan potatoes.
Chilly: the
Baker: The vegan potatoes, man!
Chilly: yeah Yeah. That was good, man.
Baker: And I don't, the pork
Chilly: listen Listen, I ain't hating, but the Friendsgiving Thanksgiving food was way better than anything I've had kind of recently. i'm not hating on the food that do. I'm appreciative of the houses I freeload at, but The Friendsgiving food was very delicious.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, we we we smashed. We smashed that day. There's no doubt about it. No doubt about it. But can can I get into a... ah Can I get into a sidebar with you guys before we start talking about fantasy football? By the way, if you don't know what we do on the DFS Deli, we break down position by position, our favorite place on each game of the slate, seeing as how there's only a three-bagger.
Sully Shaheed: But this week, for this special episode, there will be no um dust bus, and there will be no remembering the fallen. That will happen on Friday's episode, so make sure you turn back.
Sully Shaheed: It's a Friday main slate, all the other good stuff. But the sidebar that I have with my friends all the time is that, Hey, why are we calling this Turkey day?
Sully Shaheed: I'm so tired of that. It is so cliche. Okay. I get it. It's like the thing. and' like, Oh, Turkey's so good. And all this other stuff. Then why I'll only make it once a year. If it's that damn good.
Sully Shaheed: Hmm. And don't give me the deli meat sliced turkey. No, no, no. I'm talking about roasting a whole ass turkey, deep frying a whole ass turkey. Why does only pop up once a year? If it's that good.
Chilly: I mean, I'm just kind of here for the turkey gravy, but...
Baker: May May
Sully Shaheed: Oh, of course you may.
Baker: May I?
Sully Shaheed: You may.
Baker: As the Thanksgiving truther on this show, as y'all see, y'all see behind me, there's a punk ass Christmas tree.
Chilly: He do be that.
Chilly: Hey, what's wrong I mean, I'm not going to lie.
Baker: She should not have this Christmas tree up yet. It shouldn't be up yet.
Chilly: her Her Christmas tree is actually kind of boring. Like, what's the light texture on the tree?
Baker: I mean, next time I mute myself, I'll plug in the tree so you can see the lights.
Chilly: Oh, I appreciate it.
Baker: I got you, fam.
Chilly: Because, you know, that is an S-tier holiday behind you.
Baker: I got you, fam.
Chilly: But you can continue about truth and about Thanksgiving.
Baker: I lied. She's literally crawling, but underneath me to plug this motherfucking hair right now.
Chilly: she needs she She knows.
Baker: There you go. There's the lights.
Chilly: Okay, that's not bad.
Baker: There's the lights.
Chilly: That's not bad.
Baker: It's not great. Like, she's missing, like, a star or some sort of ornament on top. Like, come on, man.
Sully Shaheed: Right, where's my star?
Baker: This is not...
Baker: Uh-oh, do we got robots only back?
Chilly: He is robot. He's robot right now. He'll clear up. Although, if we could screenshot that picture, that'd be really funny. Him just doing like this right now. it just like I'm not that fast on the beer.
Chilly: But if you would like to discuss Thanksgiving...
Baker: Yes. But oh to to go into what Sally's talking about, how turkey is, you know, not that good outside of Thanksgiving. Here's the thing. We reserve it. Turkey is good.
Baker: I'm not going to say that turkey is the best thing of Thanksgiving. I'm going to say that. But We reserve it for one day a year. We don't need it 365. We don't need it 300. We don't need it five. We don't need it 20. We need it one time a year because it's that good. And we appreciate it that one time a year.
Baker: We don't need more. We just do the one time and we move the fuck on with our lives. We cook enough turkey on this one day to survive us the next week any fucking way.
Chilly: so
Baker: Let's be real about
Sully Shaheed: Baker.
Chilly: So Baker uses the appreciative defense.
Sully Shaheed: Baker.
Chilly: What's your defense?
Chilly: Here comes Sully with the Wookiee defense.
Sully Shaheed: Baker, can I ask you a question? i have The Wookiee defense. Now, now, now, Baker. If Chewbacca...
Chilly: yeah Now, Chewbacca is a Wookiee, and he lives on the planet Andor. Now, how Baker, why would a Wookiee live on a desert planet?
Chilly: It just doesn't make sense. Oh, he's got a good point. Oh, yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Baker, I just want to ask, I'm go ask you one thing.
Baker: I hate you people, just so you know. Before you go in, hate you, both of you. Both of you, right now.
Sully Shaheed: As you should, as you should.
Chilly: That's fair.
Sully Shaheed: Baker, um as we are an adult centered podcast and you reserve the turkey because it's so good for once a year and I respect your argument. However, um and I know the answer. This is a very facetious question. It is rhetorical because I know the answer. um You enjoy sex?
Chilly: hmm
Baker: I, my friend, am a good Christian boy. So i don't I don't do those sort of things without being married.
Sully Shaheed: Baker.
Baker: So no, sir, I do i do not enjoy sex because I've never done it before.
Sully Shaheed: Baker.
Sully Shaheed: Baker's a liar. So I'm going to continue on with my point because you clearly see where I'm going with this. If sex is good, you have it multiple times throughout the week, the month, the year, whatever. It's not reserved for one day.
Sully Shaheed: so You mean to tell me that this this turkey that you reserve for one day is better than sex?
Baker: Two things. And I didn't bring this up to my initial point. People who have a pigmentation resembling one of chills tend to add turkey into fucking Christmas too.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Twice.
Chilly: Um, listen, listen. i don't know how true that is. Now, I've never been around Turkey. Now, if you want to pull out the honey-baked ham for my pigment, then that that that that's that's our lane.
Sully Shaheed: I was going to say, I know he's going the ham route.
Chilly: it's It's ham. I've never had...
Baker: Well, ham crosses both sides. Both sides. We all do ham.
Chilly: Listen, I...
Sully Shaheed: So, so Baker, again, to my initial point, if it's that good, why don't you reserve sex for once a year?
Chilly: like
Baker: First of all, I don't have sex because I'm a good Christian boy. But secondly, even if I did have sex, this is on camera. You can hear it and you can play this back. You can run this back if you want to.
Baker: Honey, we only have a sex once time a year.
Sully Shaheed: And we found out that's a fucking lie. um Chili, I need you to.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: and And in the YouTube comments, I will leave a timestamp when we actually start talking about football, but only get to talk about Thanksgiving once a year. So I'm going to do it. um I need you your to power rank them.
Sully Shaheed: The top three dishes at Thanksgiving. I need you to power rank them right now.
Chilly: The top three dishes, man. um Well, I think coming in at number three for me, ah because, you know, I am ah in with the black community. Number three is mac and cheese.
Chilly: ah i do i do appreciate some mac and cheese now at at the table.
Baker: Let's go.
Chilly: um Number two... See, like i'm not a very I'm not a very diverse eater. So like I'm really basic. But if you gave me if you give me... I'm a mashed potato kind of guy.
Chilly: so again, Matt, I'm going with the mashed. And then the number one for me is turkey gravy. It's not even a food. It's a side. But I put turkey gravy on everything.
Chilly: The turkey, the potatoes, the rolls. It's... my My plate is... enthwalled in turkey gravy......................
Sully Shaheed: and See, he he considered the turkey gravy as an independent dish. Baker, do you feel the same way about the turkey gravy?
Baker: So this statement might be controversial. It might be.
Sully Shaheed: Mm-hmm.
Baker: My girlfriend might come out the room and be like, hold on.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Okay.
Baker: You don't like this. This is going to be at the table tomorrow. Don't care.
Baker: I don't like gravy. Any kind of gravy. Turkey gravy, regular gravy, peanut gravy, oil gravy, any gravy you could possibly make.
Chilly: Like beef gravy, brown gravy, this is not for you.
Baker: Not a fan.
Baker: Nah.
Chilly: But to see that...
Chilly: See... see
Baker: Ever since I was a little baker, ever since I was a little baker, nah, gravy ain't what's it. You put gravy on my mashed potatoes, I won't eat the mashed potatoes.
Chilly: See, as a as a picky eater, like, I don't judge people. So you don't like gravy? You don't like gravy. That's... I don't judge. Because I'm picky. Now, the other, you know... The the other guy in here who does is very diverse in his portfolio that he's actually allowed to eat won't die, he may have a problem with it.
Sully Shaheed: Baker, then rank them your top three Thanksgiving dishes.
Baker: Here's the thing. I'm not going to be very different from my guy. You what I'm saying? My guy. my march My arch enemy. Not very different. But at number at number three, we got to go with the mashed potatoes. I'm a mashed potato kind of guy.
Baker: Here's thing. You can't have the skins and the mashed potatoes, though. Like, you can't have the instant mashed potatoes. You can't have the skins and the mashed potatoes. got to get up in there and mash them fucking taters.
Sully Shaheed: Okay, no instant, no instant.
Baker: You can't take the bullshit route.
Sully Shaheed: Got it, no instant.
Chilly: Who makes instant mashed potatoes?
Baker: You... ill
Sully Shaheed: Lazy motherfuckers.
Chilly: Not me, man.
Baker: What he said.
Chilly: You peel that potato, you cut, cut. Boil them motherfuckers. Yeah. Is
Baker: there's a chance that I may have heard somebody was talking about doing instant mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving when I was going to be at tomorrow and somebody else may have said, nah, we doing mashed potatoes because we ain't doing the instant shit.
Sully Shaheed: You just want to start a fight at that point.
Baker: There's a chance.
Chilly: yeah you what it is her family poor?
Baker: I
Chilly: is her family poor why i don't i don't get it. you
Sully Shaheed: Well, why are we getting the box of mashed potatoes?
Chilly: Come on, now.
Baker: don't know.
Chilly: Come on, man. Is that how y'all do it in California?
Baker: Now,
Chilly: Instant mashed potatoes?
Baker: Y'all, I'm not from California. I'm from the greater Ohio area.
Chilly: you're a baker Baker, I understand, but you're associated with the y'all part.
Baker: Fair, fair, I am.
Chilly: excuse
Baker: Even though i'm not having sex with the y'all part because I'm a good Christian boy. I
Sully Shaheed: Because it's so good.
Chilly: Don't...
Sully Shaheed: We can wait for once a year.
Baker: don't know, y'all probably didn't hear it, my girlfriend laughed in the other room. ah But here's where we're going differ, Joe. I'm a go cranberry, but not the canned cranberry. The legit, like you got to make the real cranberry sauce.
Baker: Because like you and your turkey, Raven, I put that real cranberry, not the bullshit cranberry.
Chilly: okay
Baker: I put that shit on everything. If your shit over here looking like so over here looking circular, yeah, I'm good.
Sully Shaheed: What the...
Baker: yeah yeah sayport up here Now I'm good. I'm good. I promise you I'm good. But when that shit looking good, that shit looking good. Cause you can see the chunks of cranberry. You can see the colors. You can see the form. You see like, it's not just circular.
Baker: Oh, come on, man. I put that shit on every thing. And then one is it as simple. Chill. You put it at three. I don't put it at one. It's that mac and cheese.
Baker: Because when you beat it up like it's some good mac and cheese, make it that sound. Come on, man. That mac and cheese is number one. You got to have that mac and cheese at Thanksgiving.
Sully Shaheed: Gotta have mac of cheese at Thanksgiving. If you're a part of a family that doesn't have the mac and cheese at Thanksgiving, go home or date somebody that's black.
Baker: You got to.
Baker: Or cut the show off because we don't like you anyway.
Sully Shaheed: Make sure in the YouTube comments, rank them. You're a top three Thanksgiving dishes. um or I'm going go two contrarian picks, and i'm gonna play the chalk. Okay? So let's play the chalk. Number one is the mac and cheese. Okay?
Sully Shaheed: We're playing the mac and cheese. We're putting them in the lineup. We're not thinking about it. The rest is just going to have to hit to make the plate successful and get to the top of the tournament plate charts. Okay? Okay?
Sully Shaheed: But at number three, I'm going have to go a little contrarian. It's got some ownership. It always has ownership, but it's not necessarily chalky. I got to go with the dinner roll and specifically the Hawaiian sweet roll. If you don't have a Hawaiian sweet roll, you can take that straight out the package. I don't give a damn. ain't got bake.
Sully Shaheed: No bread. Take that motherfucker out the package, put that shit on the side, and I'm eating some Hawaiian sweet rolls. Okay? Now, number two is going to be controversial because it's going to be found at only a select Thanksgiving.
Sully Shaheed: And that, my friend, is the collard green. Okay? I will smash the shit out of some well-cooked collard greens. Put that shit right on the side with my rolls, with the juices falling off into the roll.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, man.
Baker: Gotta have the juices. Gotta have the juices.
Sully Shaheed: Man, collard greens comes in at number two. And then of course, like I said before, the mac and cheese. you You got to have the mac and cheese. You just got to. Just got to.
Baker: So can ask you a quick question?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, sure.
Baker: Can you please explain to our white audience what collard greens are?
Sully Shaheed: Ha!
Sully Shaheed: Ha! Ha!
Sully Shaheed: Okay, when you're going shopping, because the white people see it all the time, it's right next to the kale. Okay. and there's So it instead of reaching for the kale, go like one shelf over and you're going to see several types of greens. They're just called greens.
Sully Shaheed: Look for the ones that say collard in them. Okay. And the thing is, is that you're going get these big batches of collard greens and you're going to think, oh man, this is a lot.
Chilly: Thank you.
Sully Shaheed: No, it is not a lot.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: You need several heads of collard greens because when you reduce that bad boy down, going to go to this.
Chilly: yeah
Sully Shaheed: Okay. So, yeah, that that's where they're located and that's what they are. So find the kale and keep going. Okay. Just keep going.
Sully Shaheed: All right. 20 minutes in and we're talking about Thanksgiving for the Thanksgiving slate. I really appreciate you guys entertaining me with that. Yes, go ahead.
Baker: Speaking of the Thanksgiving slate, can we please make the thumbnail? The lady in church. Greens, beans, tomatoes, tomatoes. Can I be that thumbnail? Can I please be the thumbnail?
Sully Shaheed: Without question.
Baker: gotor out there Let's go. Let's go.
Sully Shaheed: If Mariah Carey has the Christmas anthem, that church lady without question will always and forever be the official Thanksgiving anthem.
Chilly: Oh, yeah.
Baker: Beans, greens, tomatoes, tomatoes.
Chilly: What's grandma cooking for Thanksgiving?
Baker: Oh, man, I love that shit.
Sully Shaheed: That's it, man. That's it. If you ain't hip, go look it up right now. So are you guys are you guys ready to talk about football? Because we're going to be making like food references
Chilly: you're ah you're a you You're doing...
Sully Shaheed: My God.
Chilly: So, ahha I think we we're getting ready to talk about fake football. we'll ah We'll wait for him to kind of pop back here. Um, I, the first game on the slate, I believe, is the Lions-Packers.
Baker: It is. It is. 10 a.m.
Chilly: So, uh, 2, 10 a.m., brother.
Baker: m out here on the West Coast. 10 a.m. out here.
Chilly: Uh, oh, I think you're back.
Sully Shaheed: Oh, no, I was going to you talk about it.
Chilly: Oh, I was, i was gonna kick it to Baker and then wait for you to come back if then, Baker, you wanna...
Sully Shaheed: Oh, no, by please by by all means, let's talk.
Baker: Well, chill. You are...
Chilly: okay
Sully Shaheed: Let's talk about the Detroit Lions. by let's Let's talk about the Lions. As they are, ah would you, do you guys do appetizers at Thanksgiving?
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: Okay, okay, I was going to say, because, like, it's the first game on a slate.
Chilly: No.
Baker: We eat.
Sully Shaheed: could be an appetizer.
Baker: We eat when we eat.
Sully Shaheed: Okay, my bad.
Baker: We eat when we eat.
Sully Shaheed: I know people, you know, you you are hanging out with a white family.
Chilly: No, we... we we
Baker: Come on, man.
Sully Shaheed: They might have a nice garden salad to start off before you.
Chilly: No, no, no.
Baker: Hold on. Hold on.
Chilly: No.
Baker: Hold on. What's that? What's that? What's that? Hey, honey. Do y'all do appetizers at Thanksgiving? Appetizers at Thanksgiving.
Sully Shaheed: Like a nice cheese and cracker tray.
Chilly: She said yes.
Baker: She did say yes. So apparently I'm doing appetizers tomorrow. I don't.
Chilly: Cool.
Baker: I thought I ate what I ate. didn't think I had appetizers. Fuck.
Sully Shaheed: Yes. So the Lions game, at appetizer.
Baker: but an Okay.
Baker: Well, to be fair, she did make a great point. They Italian, so they just eat a fuck ton of food.
Chilly: that's a disqu That's a disqualification.
Sully Shaheed: yeah. yeah
Baker: She is Italian as fuck.
Chilly: as a... As somebody who has been, like, so the one year where my uncle and my aunt and my aunt's side, they held, like, a Thanksgiving at, like, a nice little hall thing.
Chilly: And they're Italian. So, like, the spread was anything that I've never been a part of. Because, like, you know what you know what you know what wasn't there? Turkey. There ain't no fucking turkey there. Right? Yeah.
Chilly: That was even the thing. You were getting lasagna, spaghetti, meatballs. I mean, you were getting everything but turkey.
Sully Shaheed: turkey is ass
Chilly: a
Baker: To be fair, my my future father-in-law is cooking the turkey tomorrow. And this the first time I think i think he's ah roasting the turkey. Or not roasting, but smoking the turkey.
Sully Shaheed: And it's ass.
Baker: First time having a smoked turkey. It's my first time having a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. First time.
Chilly: Well, you can text us on the side and give it a grade. You can put it in a tier.
Sully Shaheed: That's right. You sure can. You sure can. So Packers, Lions, all our starts, all our stacks, of course, start with the QB.
Baker: Will do. Will do.
Sully Shaheed: Are you interested in either side of this game? Or are we looking at pieces? Baker, by all means.
Baker: I mean, can is Jordan Love going to catch a touchdown pass like Jameis Winston did?
Chilly: no because join love doesn't know that victory comes from the lord
Baker: I'm still interested.
Baker: I mean, here's the thing. and And to that point, Jordan Love was not born near water.
Chilly: it
Chilly: were we don't
Baker: So he was not born different.
Chilly: We don't know where he was born.
Baker: And I just know he was not born near water.
Sully Shaheed: I mean, a quick Wikipedia search will take care of that, but we know he doesn't seem like the person that was born around water.
Sully Shaheed: ah ah Oh, my Lord.
Sully Shaheed: So are the horses are the horses preparing for battle, Baker?
Baker: But,
Baker: i mean, I'm just so thankful that I get to play football here in Detroit, Michigan on Thanksgiving.
Chilly: But,
Chilly: maybe Baker, you can kind of maybe tell me yes or no. Is Bakersfield, California near water?
Chilly: I don't know if that's in the state or on the – as somebody who is literally probably pretty close, you want to i' take a look at that?
Baker: I'm going to go to the source.
Sully Shaheed: Enlighten us.
Baker: I ain't from here. I'm from the great Ohio area. Honey!
Sully Shaheed: Oh my God. How many pounds is going to make an appearance on this show?
Baker: Bakersfield, California. Where is it?
Baker: Middle fucking nowhere. so No, it's not near water.
Chilly: It is not near water.
Sully Shaheed: He was not born around water.
Baker: and he was
Chilly: He is not, he is not different. Um, I mean, appreciate it.
Baker: So I went to i went through the source. I got sources over here. I got sources. I'm in the air.
Chilly: So, uh, I think the way to kind of look at QB this, week this is probably going to be two of the lower own QBs on the slate.
Baker: I got you, man.
Chilly: Um, that's where both draft Kings and FanDuel, I'm more interested in the Jordan Love side of it. Um, This Detroit secondary um is pretty susceptible to the pass. um They do stop the run pretty well. Josh Jacobs may be back, which kind of makes that ah backfield a little bit more intriguing. Probably makes it more of a more of a split than anything because they do want to give Wilson some work.
Chilly: So I'd be interested in the Jordan Love side of it. Of course, the the devil's advocate to that is, like, what wide receivers do you play with them? At least Jaden Reed has been ruled out, so the tree gets a little bit smaller.
Chilly: i don't think you have to play Musgrave or the Fitzpatrick guy with him. um I mean, if you get if you want to get a little bit weird, you can. But I'd be kind of interested. I mean, Jarrett Goff has no ownership, so if you want to play Jarrett Goff and pray,
Chilly: um that automatically gives you an amazing head start at the beginning of the day, especially if he hits. um You know, you can kind of just round yourself into the ti some chalk, but I'd be interested in the Jordan and Love side of things in terms of the QB position.
Sully Shaheed: Hey, listen, chill. Jarrett Goff was born in Novato, California, which is right by the Gulf of Mexico. So he actually was born around water.
Chilly: What?
Baker: so He's just different.
Sully Shaheed: So he's just different.
Baker: He's born different.
Sully Shaheed: So, you know, if you wannave started you want to start the day with Jared Goff, you can do so. You know what I'm saying? I think like, and Chill, you may be able to attest to this a little bit, but a lot of people like to put players in the early game so they can see them play.
Sully Shaheed: And that just might be a newbie thing that the industry has done. I know that the industry has gotten a lot sharper, but like it used to be we're about to start eating at like around noon or something like that. But my players are playing.
