Sully Shaheed: ah Yes, it is week two. And we are here to review what happened in week one. uh historically low scoring week primarily however week one decided to bless us with the highest scoring week in week one NFL history. We're going to break it all down tonight, see what's real.
Sully Shaheed: What's fake? and what what lessons we learned from week one to take into week two. to get you to the top of your... tournament. charts That's if FanDuel will allow you to actually enter your lineups.
Sully Shaheed: Grab a seat. Grab your favorite adult beverage. And all of it and more next on the... DFS Deli.
Sully Shaheed: Welcome in to the DFS Deli. I am the proprietor of this delicatessen, Sully Ali Shahid. where we serve it hot all the way up until Sunday lock. I am joined tonight, of course, by Chili and Baker, my best friends in the entire world. Guys, welcome to week two.
Sully Shaheed: ah How did week one go? what What can we take moving forward? And more importantly... How are you doing tonight? Chili, what's the word, man? How are you?
Chilly: I mean, the word is good. ah Week one process was good.
Chilly: Um, I was on the Baltimore stuff. uh did pretty well i was on the bear stuff unfortunately the double stack i had with the bear stuff didn't hit but that lineup was good enough to place pretty well so uh process was good i was profitable uh so i can't complain feeling good tonight uh as i mentioned earlier i got a i got some pokemon cards i'll be ripping so hopefully i'll make some more money there and uh
Chilly: man i'm just getting ready to dive on into the slate into these cards i'm i'm ready
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, we too should be interesting. Unfortunately, we don't have. arguably what would have been the best game of the slate in Detroit and the bills they play tomorrow night, but we do got some. Bangers? Coming up on Sunday. Baker. How was your week one process and how are you doing tonight?
Baker: Well, I wasted Jalen Coker. So that tells you how my week one went. um came on to him late in the week and uh, dialed back my entries in week one just because of the uncertainty of week one and the lineups that i did have that had jalen coker had absolutely doodle butter around it so
Sully Shaheed: yeah yeah
Baker: um I mean, just to put in prefer in reference, Jamar Chase was on a lot of my Jalen Coker rosters.
Sully Shaheed: Oh.
Baker: soon.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah, Jamar Chase let us all down let us all it down. But that's okay. We're a forward thinking show. And we are on to week. Two. uh what i want to sift through first before we start diving in because of course if you don't know what we do here on the DFS Deli is we go position by position to break down our favorite plays early in the week we record this on a wednesday night So things could change, news could break.
Sully Shaheed: value could open up. However, We want to give you our takes initially, but... Chili, I want to get your thoughts about... What we need to distinguish between the real and the fake.
Sully Shaheed: So I want you to go back. a few days ago and get me
Chilly: Sure.
Sully Shaheed: One of your takes that was what we can take away that was real from the slate and what we can take away that was fake from the slate.
Chilly: yeah i mean if you're just taking a look at the slate i mean let's be real um the teams that we pretty much thought were bad are probably going to be bad and we're probably going to be targeting them all fantasy season uh browns were pretty bad uh i mean trevor lawrence and those by and the jags has absolutely cooked them I mentioned earlier that uh that the bears defense is going to be absolutely terrible
Chilly: Um, It'll be a defensive on target. They will be the fun team of the year. As we can see, they they definitely wanted to get 60 points. Unfortunately, they didn't. ah So I think the Bears are going to be a team that you're you're going to target the game no matter what. ah they play They're at home against Minnesota this week. ah We'll get into that, I'm sure, as we progress through the...
Chilly: through the podcast here, but um And again, the reason why I did say the bears were a pretty bad team again, like turnover rate is usually not sustainable from uh from season to season very rarely do you kind of lead that twice uh this is kind of statistically proven um my biggest takeaway here is that like good offenses will always continue to be good offenses um Kind of no matter what.
Chilly: And like. defense is are very volatile I mean, Houston. ah Denver's defense, I know it was a Monday night game. ah But they were quite bad. Houston, as I mentioned before. So it's it's a very interesting.
Chilly: you know Way to start up the slate um I think at this point. this for fun. If you're a Justin Herbert defender, ah you probably got to stop.
Sully Shaheed: yeah Yeah.
Chilly: What up, babe?
Sully Shaheed: I agree. I agree. I'm sorry, Baker.
Chilly: but Big one.
Sully Shaheed: you need to eat You need to stop. We need to stop. We need to do better. as people. um Justin Herbert has already won. you know the life lottery as we've seen many ah times memed on the internet about his beautiful wife, girlfriend, whatever the case is, probably one of the hottest, if not the hottest woman on the planet.
Sully Shaheed: um Why do you care about football? I'd retire. I said, guys, I won. I won the lottery. I'm out. I get it, make your money You want to win, whatever. But I think Michael Daniel is an idiot.
Sully Shaheed: And those offensive line injuries came back to hinder him as well. Because I mean, like, you got... You didn't lose to the Cardinals. You got your ass beat by the Cardinals. Eh? Okay.
Sully Shaheed: And that wasn't very fun for that team, especially at home as well. And I think that's one of the real things we're going to see as we progress through the season. I think it's going to take a lot of time for Herbert to get adjusted to Mike McDaniel's new scheme.
Sully Shaheed: They have the weapons, even though Latmakaki's a little banged up, but I think they do have the weapons, minus some of the offensive line injuries. But yeah, I think they the Justin Herbert thing needs to stop. And I agree with you, Chill. I think we need to move forward. So I think that's one of the real things I saw from week one. Baker, what was real and what was fake to you?
Baker: ah This Packers defense until Michael Parsons comes back. is going to struggle mightily. whether they're playing with a big lead, whether they are... whatever the situation, I think this Packers defense until Micah comes back and we can see them at full strength, I think it's going to be another team that we can target this year.
Baker: Um, Bryce Young is your MVP.
Sully Shaheed: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, what?
Baker: if
Chilly: he's
Sully Shaheed: Come on, man.
Chilly: Yes.
Sully Shaheed: You got to stop with that.
Chilly: he's not even He's not even in the top five for MVP right now.
Sully Shaheed: Right.
Baker: app After week one, he's in the top five. Okay?
Chilly: No, he's not I can name five people that are ahead of him
Baker: Yeah.
Baker: Go ahead hit me with it
Sully Shaheed: Josh Allen.
Chilly: Okay, nope. Josh Allen. ah Lamar's ahead.
Sully Shaheed: Lamar Jackson.
Baker: Nope, Lamar had a worse game than him. Stop it. Get out of here.
Sully Shaheed: They won in dominant fashion, sir.
Chilly: Derek, I... Uh, derek
Sully Shaheed: Wins matter. voting.
Chilly: Uh... Derrick Henry is ahead of him.
Baker: no running backs no but No running backs winning it over quarterbacks. Stop it. try Keep trying.
Chilly: I don't care. He is ahead of him.
Baker: you No, he's not.
Chilly: After week one. uh,
Baker: Because because I have a quarterback I'm ahead of you Bye.
Chilly: Ted Walker? Ken Walker. Ken Walker is ahead of him.
Baker: I mean, once again, i a quarter I'm a quarterback. i I would be ahead of him by default.
Chilly: I'm sorry. Baker, have running backs won MVP before? Does it answer yes or no?
Baker: Yeah in 1983
Chilly: Okay.
Baker: When's the last time?
Chilly: Adrian Peterson. Adrian Peterson?
Baker: And what year was that, Joe?
Chilly: I don't care. Not 1980. 2001, bitch.
Baker: but
Chilly: All right, so...
Baker: so And you wonder why I call you my enemy. um
Chilly: Okay, i I'm just saying, they both had better games.
Sully Shaheed: Caleb Williams Caleb Williams.
Chilly: Caleb Williams.
Baker: That's two
Sully Shaheed: Tyler Shuck.
Baker: No.
Chilly: Brock. Brock Purdy.
Baker: No!
Chilly: Brock Purdy beat the most dominant team, the Super Bowl favorites. Not only did he beat the Rams, he beat that ass. He beat that ass to the point where Miles Garrett is fucking hurt.
Baker: You know what? Sure. I'll yeah i'll i'll give you Brock Purdy. That's three. You said you can give me five. Because I'm not giving you any running back.
Chilly: Vaxin.
Baker: Because...
Chilly: Tart!
Baker: Stop. Get out of here. get No.
Chilly: Caleb, Bryce Young didn't even win.
Baker: Absolutely not. absolutely not
Chilly: He didn't even win his game. He didn't win, Bait!
Sully Shaheed: Right. didn't Baker. He didn't even win his game.
Chilly: Jackson. Dart.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: The reason why he's put up those inflated stats, dropping back 60 times because they were getting their ass beat by the best NFL offense.
Baker: ah First of all,
Sully Shaheed: And so Ben Johnson said something.
Baker: They were not getting their ass beat the entire time.
Sully Shaheed: Great.
Baker: It was tough.
Chilly: ah Okay.
Baker: It was a freaking six -way game going into half.
Chilly: tyler Tyler Shook, mate. Tyler Shuck.
Baker: You want to talk about wins and he lost he choked at the end get out of here with this shit
Chilly: Yeah, the... He had a better game. He had a better game though.
Baker: no No, we didn't. not have a better game than Bryce Young. Not even close.
Chilly: Yes, he did. He had a better game.
Baker: No, he did not!
Chilly: he He had a better game.
Sully Shaheed: Listen.
Baker: no
Sully Shaheed: The Saints were down 21 rip. And he brought them all the way back to get it to overtime.
Chilly: Oh.
Baker: i don't did Did he win?
Chilly: Trevor Lawrence.
Sully Shaheed: Tyler Shuck is a b****. off.
Baker: Did he win?
Chilly: Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence would be ahead of him.
Sully Shaheed: Ooh, too long.
Baker: I can, see, I i can, i get okay. Trevor Lawrence, like, he just absolutely dominated.
Chilly: Yeah. Come on.
Baker: Bryce Young's in your top five.
Chilly: Now they're not.
Baker: I'm sorry.
Sully Shaheed: TR, TR did it.
Chilly: No, he's not. He didn't win, Bake.
Baker: Bye. Top five.
Sully Shaheed: He did it effortlessly.
Chilly: Baker, when's the last time somebody with a losing record won MVP? If you want to play this stupid game. Okay.
Baker: I mean, I actually don't know. That's a great question. I don't know. Let me get, let me get.
Chilly: I don't even know if it's happening, babe.
Baker: Let me get back to you by the end of the show because I don't know it.
Chilly: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: I'm sure it hasn't happened
Sully Shaheed: I'm sure it hasn't happened.
Chilly: I'll start. tonight I'll start naming defensive players that had better games. hey
Baker: it will I know what team you're not going to name somebody on their defense. It's going to be Chicago.
Chilly: Or o'er the Rams.
Sully Shaheed: Kurt Cousins Baker.
Chilly: And they were.
Sully Shaheed: Kirk Cousins.
Baker: Sully, if you would have said, I was just in Cleveland. I should have drove over to your house that I don't know where it is and slapped you because I knew you were going to say something stupid tonight.
Sully Shaheed: That's yo boy.
Chilly: It's...
Sully Shaheed: That's yo boy.
Baker: I love Kirk Cousins, but that's stupid.
Sully Shaheed: Just saying he's 1 -0 and someone's not. So I'm just saying. Know what else you want to know, Baker? Gino Smith.
Chilly: yeah
Baker: I hate everything about you. Everything.
Sully Shaheed: The most efficient game manager game. Of all time. A long time.
Baker: Everything. I literally hate everything about you.
Sully Shaheed: Game manager. All right, let's talk about so let's talk about some DFS stuff, man. Because like I said, from discerning the discerning the real from the fake. um We'll sprinkle in some of those takes. for this week as well.
Sully Shaheed: As it related to last week, because there's some guys that. severely underperformed. that I'm sure are due for bounce backs this week. So. We're going to get into the slate, however.
Sully Shaheed: Before we start, as tradition on the DFS Deli, we would like to... have all of our audience members. grab their favorite beverage rather than water. Wine. beer, a mixer of some sort.
Sully Shaheed: and raise the glass for our fallen. in week one. Huh. Kyler Murray.
Baker: I'm still with you, boo.
Sully Shaheed: Vlad McConkey.
Sully Shaheed: Faith Flowers.
Sully Shaheed: Jacoby Lane.
Sully Shaheed: um Even though it was before. based on shriveling. Let it be the excuse that they should love. Sam Darnold Howdy.
Sully Shaheed: The numbers, Mason. Numbers! Headed to the IR. Dylan Sampson. a ankle.
Sully Shaheed: In the entirety. of the Cleveland Browns. We raise the glass to you. and wish you all a speedy recovery.
Baker: You could have said the entire Tennessee Titans.
Sully Shaheed: The Titans. Amen. Tighten up.
Baker: Bit.
Sully Shaheed: Amen.
Baker: Fantasy owners who own Kyle Pitts.
Sully Shaheed: Hey, listen, Kyle Pitts is healthy, all right?
Baker: I just said fantasy.
Sully Shaheed: These are for the fallen.
Baker: fit
Sully Shaheed: Cowpits pay the game.
Baker: Fantasy out. and you're falling. to the bottom of your rankings if you own.
Chilly: He's dumb. He's done. to the third string quarterback, bake.
Baker: I don't give any rats. ass Kyle Pitten.
Chilly: And yeah it... might be the fourth string this week.
Baker: Still don't give. a They didn't stop Bijan from doing Bijan things.
Sully Shaheed: Because Cooper Rush understood the assignment, Baker.
Chilly: well Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Seven. Here you go.
Chilly: He didn't... Baker, I... I think you can throw a ball farther right now than Cooper Rush can.
Baker: That's so inaccurate because this right shoulder is so fucked up
Chilly: Yeah, but so is his and his back.
Sully Shaheed: BRO! Did you watch any part of that game? Did you watch any part of that game?
Baker: Why would I ever watch that game?
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Cooper Rush cannot throw a football.
Chilly: It was bad bake.
Sully Shaheed: Like, legitimately.
Baker: Like, Like, what would make you think that I'm going to watch the Falcon Steelers game at any point in time?
Sully Shaheed: And roll.
Sully Shaheed: When it cuts in in red zone.
Baker: And even then I wasn't watching it.
Chilly: Yeah.
Baker: I picked up my phone and was texting y 'all or grabbing another adult beverage or whatever the fuck it was. I wasn't watching that game.
Chilly: It was, he was so bad.
Sully Shaheed: So so so bad. and they And they almost won.
Chilly: So bad.
Sully Shaheed: Who wants to throw a run at it?
Chilly: You've never won. you remember one Remember when people were screaming that Cooper Rush should start over Dak Prescott? Where are they now?
Sully Shaheed: I was one of them. I was one of them.
Baker: Well, you hate Rain Dakota. so
Sully Shaheed: I don't hate. rain dakota i just don't think he's all that great
Chilly: you You sound like Billy O and my uncle.
Sully Shaheed: yeah I think he's... I think he's mad. I just think he's mad.
Chilly: If you want... If you want their verbiage, he's just he's not a big game winner. That's that's what they would say.
Sully Shaheed: That's another thing I got to take away from week one slate is. the team that they lost to. even though they're not on this slate i would love to have seen the giants but Man, do they got some freaking moxie and swag about them.
Sully Shaheed: Oh my gosh. I think that's it. I think they're a real football team, guys.
Baker: Well, they got a real football coach.
Sully Shaheed: I think if Jackson Dart and Cam can stay healthy, oh, man.
Chilly: I can't.
Sully Shaheed: Right.
Chilly: I can't, I can't give them that much credit. The Cowboys are my Super Bowl pick, so I really need the Cowboys to win this week.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: It's not. It's hard to unbury yourself at 0 -2. My AFC team looks like they're on their way, so ah I'll be safe there. but
Sully Shaheed: My AFC team is on the way as well.
Chilly: Cowboys.
Sully Shaheed: However, My NFC team.
Chilly: We know that.
Sully Shaheed: Woof.
Chilly: thank
Chilly: if our afc teams face each other we know how that story ends in the playoffs
Baker: Oh my god.
Sully Shaheed: You shut your whore mouth
Sully Shaheed: You shut your mouth.
Baker: something.
Sully Shaheed: Well, speaking I mean, speaking of quarterbacks. Um, You know, because obviously we're alluding to Josh Allen, Patrick Holmes. um Let's get into this week's slate because neither are on the slate.
Chilly: Neither.
Sully Shaheed: So. We're talking about the guys that are actually playing.
Chilly: Correct.
Sully Shaheed: And Baker, I'll start with you.
Baker: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Early, early look Wednesday. Who's jumping off the sheet to you?
Baker: I mean, one of my favorite games when I first looked at the slate when I opened this thing up. was Jacksonville, Denver. I know that's not a game that's immediately jumping out to anybody. At least I don't think it was as far as like the first look.
Baker: Like, oh, my God, Jacksonville, Denver. um ah
Sully Shaheed: Ew!
Baker: I think one of my big takes from week one. i don't I still don't think the Browns defense is bad. I understand that that like as bad as they looked, I still don't think that they're bad. I just think that Trevor Lawrence picked up where he left off last regular season. Emphasis on the regular season And like... just hyper efficient.
Baker: And. You can you combine that with what just so happened to be a bad Sunday for the Browns and a hyper efficient, good Jacksonville offense. I think that. This offense is going to. kind of do what they did most of last year. And I like both quarterbacks on both sides. I don't think we actually know what the jag ah with the Jacksonville Jaguars defense is. as um Number four was taking over and... Now, you want to talk about somebody I might be able to play quarterback better than?
Baker: That guy.
Sully Shaheed: There's a competition between Deshaun Watson and Cooper Rush right now.
Baker: Ah.
Sully Shaheed: He looks so bad.
Baker: uh, for, Fun stat for how bad Deshaun Watson is. So the browns had the Browns gave up five sacks. Their offensive line. According to PFF, was responsible for Xero.
Chilly: I saw that I saw that.
Sully Shaheed: that's
Chilly: i thought
Sully Shaheed: What's there?
Chilly: That's very telling.
Baker: zero from your offensive line. The offensive line pass win rate was the third highest of week one, and they gave up five sacks that they were not responsible for. That's how bad that man is.
Sully Shaheed: It's pretty bad.
Baker: Anyway.
Sully Shaheed: So Watson's not on your board this week.
Baker: i No, he is not.
Sully Shaheed: is what you're saying.
Baker: I promise you at no point in time am I playing four.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Baker: I'm not even calling him by his name anymore. Like he's just four.
Sully Shaheed: Okay. Yep, makes sense to me. Mm hmm.
Baker: But Bo Nix, Trevor Lawrence, ah Cheaper price tags as week one pricing is kind of carried over is still over and pricing nearly not as tight. I think everybody's going to jump to the Minnesota -Chicago game, especially considering what we just saw week one of Chicago. Completely understand it.
Baker: Whatever quarterback is playing more than likely is Carson Wentz. I'm interested in Carson Wentz for obvious reasons. I'm not going to fucking deep dive on why Chicago is bad. ah But that I wanted to at first point out the Denver Jacksonville game as a game where I'm kind of.
Baker: Early in the week, circled on my calendar, circled on my board as two quarterbacks that I definitely, definitely feel like. targeting this week. I think. ah Brock Purdy is also in play.
Sully Shaheed: Sure.
Baker: And at no point in time do do we think that Miami is good. I feel like that's a team obviously we're going to target all season as well. the The Dolphins week one showed us who they are.
Chilly: Do you...
Baker: Bad.
Chilly: do do you Do you like...
Baker: Yes.
Chilly: Brock Purdy being the chalkiest quarterback on the slate. Will you play him?
Baker: I mean, I haven't looked at ownership, so this is just a raw looking at the plate.
Chilly: He's currently Currently. He's currently leading ownership.
Baker: And obviously, if his ownership is high, then there's something about Brock Purdy against the Miami Dolphins that says, yeah, this is a good play.
Chilly: there
Sully Shaheed: Yep. Yep. 100%. ah ah Baker, I kind of want to branch off a point that you brought up is that. You feel like everybody is going to gravitate to that Minnesota -Chicago game, and I kind of disagree. I think they're going to see the 15 .5 -point total jumping off the board with Dallas. and the commanders.
Sully Shaheed: i think a lot of people are going to gravitate towards that game the commanders obviously They played solid last week, but, you know, the Eagles played efficient enough to get the win. And I think that you know since the Cowboys played that later game. pricing didn't inflate, but it wasn't going to inflate anyway because the Cowboys played a bad game.
Sully Shaheed: Um, So I think we have an opportunity to go against the field and get out of that game and still. get our Minnesota embarrassed pieces. to the point where the ownership especially because that's in the four o 'clock hammer window A lot of ownership is actually going to gravitate, in my opinion, to that game and not necessarily the Minnesota game.
Sully Shaheed: So I kind of disagree with you on that, but I'm saying, yes, people are not going to ignore. what the bears did last week, but. having said that and we'll get to those positions here in a minute is that. Colston Loveland was a zero. Luther Burton disappointed. Roma Dunzay disappointed.
Sully Shaheed: uh swift might still be in play because of recency bias again we'll get some running backs here in a minute What? Minnesota's front is good. Right. So I think there's going to be a point where. Ben Johns is going to say, hey, here's where to exploit, just like they did in week one. We can pound the crap out of Carolina. Let's run the piss out of the ball. Whereas I feel that Caleb Williams is probably the number one quarterback on my board.
Sully Shaheed: Giving that A. I think Ben Johnson knows how to attack this defense. As we saw, Jordan Love was getting wet a little bit before. you know, the 75 % blitz rate got to him and then he just kept getting sacked, ever sacked, ever sacked.
Sully Shaheed: however We know cal Caleb Williams' capability in the pocket. We saw some of that rushing for last week. that added to his game total. So I think Caleb Williams for me is probably where I'm going to start. As you mentioned, prices haven't necessarily reflected. the uh projected fantasy points yet as it is only week two we can't keep spiking those prices high enough.
Sully Shaheed: And I think Caleb Williams is at a very comfortable price on both sites where you can fit him in. run it back with whomever bears pieces that you want. and be fine so I think that's where I'm going to start. And I'm not disagreeing with you on the Jacksonville point, but there are. higher game totals and probably better. game environments that I'm willing to target. So, but for me, Caleb Williams is probably going to be number one and I want to go right back to the well. with his stacking partners in the receiving game. Chill. What say you at the quarterback position?
Chilly: Yeah, right now, Caleb Williams on both sites is kind of going unowned. He's really only hovering at about... Five. to seven percent, respectfully.
Sully Shaheed: That's crazy. Don't don't don't be that guy.
Chilly: you um
Sully Shaheed: Don't make that face.
Chilly: uh yeah so just kind of pointing it out there i mean in terms of your like If you're looking on DraftKings right now, um a lot of your chalk guys. ah I mean, like right now you're looking at Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, CJ Stroud apparently is getting. A lot of love against the Bengals.
Chilly: I Don't know if I want to go to that well. um
Sully Shaheed: Huh.
Chilly: I don't really trust.
Sully Shaheed: Huh.
Chilly: That's on DraftKings at least. And then a ah Fan duel. Let's i'll do large field, ah large field on FanDuel. You're looking at Dak Prescott, Justin Herbert, Lamar, Jaden.
Chilly: And then like Brock Purdy. so um I mean, you already mentioned Caleb Williams. I'm going back to the Caleb Williams well well this week. um Again, here is Minnesota. I have a feeling Minnesota is going to want to take away this running game, ah which will lead, ah you know, guys that were very unsuccessful last week, like Luther Bird and Colson Loveland. I mean, they got 59 points, but Colson Loveland not doing a thing.
Chilly: So, again, there there is offense to be had in this game. Uh... I have some hesitations about Carson Wentz.
Chilly: um Only in the fact that. Uh, A lot of his drives last week. Got saved by penalties. and that's more of a shame on the Packers than anything, but it was like three straight, like it was almost like three straight drives where it was like third and long. There was holding.
Chilly: Third and long. It was like. Pass interference. Third law. So it's like... How much of it was... Now, again, I don't think the Packers defense is going to be was going to be great anyway. ah But again here, like I said, I think the Bears defense is what we we're going to target. I don't know if I'll play Carson once, but maybe the pieces.
Chilly: It could be interesting. um And then I'll end it here. ah Baker Mayfield is playing the Browns defense at home. Last week, he did not throw a passing touchdown.
Chilly: ah If Baker Mayfield can put a nail in Deshaun Watson's career. It would be this week. That guy has a huge chip on his shoulder to put a nail into the coffin of the guy who replaced him in Cleveland.
Chilly: And the Cleveland fans might even like Baker more if he did. And again, like I said last week. ah Last week, Tampa Bay did not play bad. They just had like some of the most silliest fumbles.
Chilly: Um... They fumbled a lot.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. yeah
Chilly: ah big I mean, Baker Mayfield fumbled like right on the goal line. ah So it's again, it's not like they played bad against the Bengals. The Bengals defense had like four turnovers or five.
Chilly: And again, Baker did not throw any touchdowns last week. We literally saw Jaguars running wide open. I don't see why that's going to change. I think the loss of Jim Schwartz on this defense is a lot bigger than people are going to give it credit for.
Chilly: I think, obviously, the loss of Myles Garrett is still... is still Huge. I think the gap between him and Jared Burse is a lot bigger than people are going to give it credit for. um So yeah, I think playing the Bengals...
Chilly: Not the Bengals. Playing the Buccaneers at home against this Browns defense. uh i would just I do like me some Baker Mayfield this week.
Sully Shaheed: And Baker, I'll give you one more name before I kick it to you here. I got to go. I got to go right back to the world.
Chilly: if
Sully Shaheed: Just like I've said. Preseason, week one, and moving forward. Anytime Tyler Shuck is on the slate, I'm going to play a Saints tag. This guy is going to absolutely fling it every game. The Saints defense is trash. And we saw last week them getting down 21 rip. He ended up with over 400 yards. He just kept.
Sully Shaheed: throwing, peppering Olave and Bailey and Juwan Johnson with his with targets. I think that we're going to see this script a lot. this year. And as the Ravens, we saw boat raced.
Sully Shaheed: The Colts. defense last week. I think the exact same is about to happen on Sunday. where the Ravens get out to X lead and then Tyler Shucks got to chuck it. around the art which leads to fantasy goodness and it's price Still depressed. to his production. So I'm i'm gonna run out another Saints back for sure. Baker, who else is who else is on the QB list?
Baker: I think. in a bounce back spot.
Sully Shaheed: See ya.
Sully Shaheed: Everything at the same time. Come on, come on, come on, come on. Do it, do it, do it. Dude.
Baker: Obviously, this defense is good, so it's it's ah it's a very difficult click to make, but if you would have clicked Josh Allen last week, you would have been just fine. um Jose Brose.
Baker: going up against the Texans. Obviously, he doesn't have the upside. of Josh Allen because Josh Allen just does it all on his own at times. But. For some reason, I feel like just in that back in ah and a bounce back spot where... This offense did not click.
Baker: The bangles are interesting.
Sully Shaheed: Thank you Baker. That is my... Gold star GVP play of the week is Joe Burrow. If Josh Allen can torch this defense because you know he's the best quarterback in the NFL.
Sully Shaheed: But one could argue... Bat. Joe Burrow is in the same tier. as joshua patrick allen now as you alluded to baker Burl can't do it with his legs. However,
Sully Shaheed: T .S .T. Higgins. Yes, Jamar Chase. If there were ever a tournament spot. Large GBB only. running out of Bengals stack, because I could have sworn, Chili, you said the exact same thing. You should be running a bangle stack every week.
Sully Shaheed: If this team can blow up. Not saying that Houston defense is bad because it ain't. It's still an elite defense. They just got. They just got Josh Allen. Last week. Who's to say that they can't get Joe Burrow this week?
Sully Shaheed: And then we start raising questions about the Texans as a whole. Because remember, I picked this team to finish third in this division. So another more losses have to come I Absolutely adore.
Sully Shaheed: And Joe Burrow's back this week. Talk about bounce back. 2 .2 points is not Jamar Chase. It's just not. So if there's a receiver that can nuke an entire slate, it's him. And who's attached to Jamar Chase?
Sully Shaheed: Joe Burrow. So I love. Joe Burrow this Sunday. I will be making the clickbait.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: I'm making the click.
Chilly: Yeah, it's it's...
Baker: It...
Chilly: it's not a terrible take
Baker: Yeah.
Baker: It's just, I mean, obviously you see the red number and everybody runs from it, but it's just a difficult click.
Sully Shaheed: And that's the point, Baker.
Chilly: you'd put
Sully Shaheed: That's the point. biggerr that's the point Elite players can beat. Bad matchups. Period. So if Joe Burrow is elite, you know they're notoriously slow starters.
Sully Shaheed: But they came out last week and got a week one dub. And I think they can follow suit with a week two dub as well. So I love Joe Burrow in this spot. And I think that. Anytime you can get the combination of...
Sully Shaheed: Ownership. projections. that everybody clicked Jamar Chase last week, including yourself, Baker. and got burned. No one's willing to go back this week. No one's willing to play Joe Burrow against the number one, you know.
Sully Shaheed: Big red number of defense. Joe Burrow just makes. all the sense in the world to me. this as As of Wednesday. Something could change towards Sunday, but right now, Gold Star A -plus play.
Sully Shaheed: Joe Burrow. that's that's that's gonna be That's gonna be my guy this weekend.
Chilly: Yeah. i
Sully Shaheed: Anybody else we miss before we head over to?
Chilly: to...
Sully Shaheed: ah
Chilly: Well, I think
Sully Shaheed: running backs.
Chilly: Dead. I have. I... I... the The Baltimore -New Orleans game. I guess my only concern with Chuck... Is due to the Ravens not having very many pass catchers left on the team.
Chilly: Um... Do they really just go back to old school Ravens and they just pound the rock? That would be my only concern. Again, Their defense was not all that great against the c Colts.
Chilly: um That would be my fear, that the Ravens just play keep away from the Saints. But also like... Uh, Gibbs was probably a couple shoestring tackles away from breaking the slate last week.
Chilly: against the Saints, so it's not to say that...
Sully Shaheed: And I think that's my point. I think that, you know, Derek Henry is not some three yard. three yard per carry plotter. He is.
Chilly: No.
Sully Shaheed: 40 -yard dash to the end zone. so i mean If they run the ball, that's probably better for the Saints. Because they're going to get the ball back that much quicker.
Chilly: M .I .A. It might be. um Yeah, I mean... Other than that, as I say this, I think Lamar is always in play, a home opener against the Saints.
Sully Shaheed: Oh yeah. Yep.
Chilly: ah Saints defense is not all that great, at least not against the Lions. um Although I will mention, you essentially did need overtime to...
Chilly: kind of save if you played that if you played that game
Sully Shaheed: Garbage time, overtime still counts, baby.
Chilly: oh Over... No, no. Like I said, you did need overtime. So there was you know some luck there. But again, part of the game. um
Sully Shaheed: That's right.
Chilly: And then again, I I pretty much think we covered anybody. I do like the Burrow take, although I think Chase is going to have ownership. which is kind of eh. but Um...
Chilly: I mean... i we We probably mentioned them. This is probably the ultimate. Bounce back spot for Dak Prescott.
Chilly: I mean, this is a must -win.
Sully Shaheed: I'm not gonna.
Chilly: This is a must -win game for the Cowboys in Week 2.
Sully Shaheed: We're already talking about must -wins in week two.
Chilly: See?
Sully Shaheed: Craig.
Chilly: they they can't they i mean They can't lose two in a row to division opponents.
Sully Shaheed: It's not wrong. Baker, we miss anybody before we head over to RB?
Baker: Well, it Well, the team that plays in the District of Columbia is so bad.
Sully Shaheed: They're bad.
Baker: Amen. in my humble opinion. So I don't think.
Chilly: I will.
Sully Shaheed: I think they're bad
Chilly: i
Baker: I don't think the Cowboys are in danger of losing in this game
Chilly: I will say Jaden Daniels started out really bad, but like. played really well towards the stretch and let's be honest if stefan diggs didn't wasn't uh you know just a very selfish individual command The commies could have won that game.
Sully Shaheed: Commies could have won that game. I agree. I agree. All right, let's go to the people that took the pill. We got some heavy hitters on this slate. Ass and Gentee. with uh you know his matchup all his usage going against chargers saquon we can hit the kwan on him Our king is on the slate, CMC. going against that vaunted Miami Dolphins defense. is on the menu as well bijan and all his usage is on the menu
Sully Shaheed: and then of course some mid -tier guys that we want to sprinkle in our lineups as well so Choke. where does the slate start for you and where can we make some interesting pivots if The chalk is not.
Sully Shaheed: is not where we want want it to be.
Chilly: Well, I mean I I think your biggest decision of the week is... Are you playing Bijan? Are you fading Bijan? um, he i but right now just taking a look at it he by far is coming in at least on uh DraftKings is the highest zone running back.
Chilly: On the slate right now, he's kind of looking the same there on FanDuel. um So again, that'll be ah that'll be a choice you have to make. Um...
Chilly: So CMC is a good click, but he's a very scary click all at the same time. ah Watching that game last week, he was very much. in a kind of platoon.
Chilly: ah But let's not forget, I think Ashton Genting caught two touchdowns against Miami.
Sully Shaheed: Thank you for tuning in.
Chilly: Um,
Sully Shaheed: Sure did.
Chilly: and Again, man, Miami's defense is not going to be very good. Uh... Again here, could cms for CMC, can he get it done at his price?
Chilly: Especially on a fan, do I believe he's... awfully expensive but uh,
Sully Shaheed: uh 9k I do believe. Yes, 9K, he's the most expensive running back.
Chilly: Yeah, so he...
Sully Shaheed: Dijon is under 100.
Chilly: He's probably...
Sully Shaheed: So yeah, he's he's the most expensive.
Chilly: Yes. he's probably He's probably an easier fade on FanDuel. Um, Just truthfully. ah So I don't hate those. I think Javante Williams is going to come in with some ownership.
Chilly: I think Javante Williams is awesome.
Sully Shaheed: Oh yeah.
Chilly: Yeah. He's going to be a great play. Again, like this commander's defense is is quite bad. Um, Let's again take a look here. And then, like you said, we mentioned him earlier, Derrick Henry.
Chilly: ah Again, Jameer Gibbs was literally two shoestring tackles from. breaking the slate last week um And Derrick Henry still... you know, showing why he's a first ballot Hall of Famer.
Chilly: um So. And then, I mean, just taking a look here. ah Aaron Jones kind of becomes a weird but interesting clique. um I mean, we saw we saw the Carolina running backs ah do pretty well last week.
Chilly: Um, Although with with Jordan Mason and ne Aaron Jones did play a lot more on the passing down work. Now with the injury, i'm not sure how the rookie gets factored into that backfield.
Chilly: um But I can see aaron Aaron Jones could probably get steam as we progress later due this week, but he is coming in on low ownership. so He could be a fairly interesting click here as well.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, the only thing that scares me about Javante, and I guess you could say that for a lot of running backs, is that I feel he's a touchdown merchant. i mean He's got to score. probably multiple times to not necessarily justify his price because it's still affordable.
Sully Shaheed: However, We've seen over his fantasy career is that without touchdowns, he has nothing to fall back on. Bijan can get you there with receptions. Jensen can get you there at receptions.
Sully Shaheed: uh i i guess again the same argument you can be made by like king henry as well like He's got a score, however. King Henry can get you a buck fifty And three.
Sully Shaheed: I'm not seeing a buck 50 and three from Javante Williams. Again, he has to get in the box multiple times to score. ah So I like the game. I like the game environment. You know, home favorite running backs are always a good click.
Sully Shaheed: However... i just don't trust him to get in the box multiple times. I just don't see it. Not saying I'm gonna necessarily fade him. But it's scary in the same sense. And I agree with you, Chill, about CMC.
Sully Shaheed: is that I think last week they said it was cramps or something like that that was hindering his performance or whatnot. But it doesn't really matter. He's going against the Dolphins, right? So you have to make that decision between.
Sully Shaheed: Bijan and our king. Saquon to a lesser extent. But I trust the fact that the 49ers are absolutely going to boat race the Dolphins. And CMC won't be needed necessarily to take the ball 30 times. I can see. with a depleted receiving core that Baltimore has. King Henry will take the ball 30 times.
Sully Shaheed: i can see um Genti touching the ball 25 to 30 times. I can see Bijan touching the ball 30 times. I can see that. But with CMC...
Sully Shaheed: I would be surprised if he was on the bench in the third quarter. You know, or or early fourth quarter just to. preserve the tired legs. But a gold star click for me is this this week is Derrick Henry.
Sully Shaheed: Again, we saw what Bijan... Sorry, Jameer Gibbs did last week. Excuse me. And I think the same performance, if not better, can be replicated this week. So King Henry is going to be in every one of my lineups. He's a lock button for me. And it'll just be a rotation between B. John and some of these other top tier guys. So, Baker, let's say you. who's ah Who's toting the pill?
Sully Shaheed: in some of your lineups this week.
Baker: So I want to add something to the Derrick Henry point as if we haven't said enough.
Sully Shaheed: My king.
Baker: ah Do you guys remember when Brandon Staley was the head coach at the... Los Angeles Chargers.
Chilly: Yes.
Sully Shaheed: We remember those days.
Baker: Yeah, um he's the defensive coordinator in New Orleans. and There's one thing that we targeted every single week when he was at the head coach for the Chargers. It was running backs. If you remember.
Baker: ah multiple games of Nick Chubb breaking off these huge runs against the Chargers. basically every running back that you can think of at that time, breaking off huge runs, huge games, 100 yards, multiple touchdowns. It was a thing that you targeted. They were a flow chart for running backs every single week.
Baker: um I think. not just because his name is Jameer Gibbs, but he was just a great play um against that type of defense. He tends to play this defense that dares you to run the ball. You want to dare, dare Henry to run the ball. Like that's the defense that we want to run out here. And he doesn't adjust.
Baker: He's still running the same You know, like, hey, we're not going to get beat over the top and I'm going to make you work your way down the field. the Ravens will take that and be like, okay, well, we'll. give you this alien who runs the ball for us and continue to shove him down your throat if you just want to give this to us.
Baker: um That just goes to say how good of a play Derrick Henry is.
Sully Shaheed: I'm here for it On air for it. who else Who else you got?
Baker: I'm not. I'm not scared to click Christian McCaffrey. I know she you mentioned the fact of, you know. Black being involved last week. I think that that had a lot to do with you know the tightness that he was experiencing. obviously with them playing in Australia.
Baker: um And flying over there, just ah I think there's a handful of factors. that came into that, I don't i don't think that's the norm.
Chilly: Whoa. Stanford, so... the the Them flying over there, they were in Australia a week before the game.
Sully Shaheed: A WHOLE A - week.
Chilly: So they were there a whole ass week. So I'm gonna take that I'm gonna I'm gonna take that out of the equation
Baker: But it...
Chilly: That.
Baker: But it's it's still the fact of. Even if you're there a whole ass week, like it's still. a different type of travel than any travel you're going to experience this year.
Baker: Like, that's the point that I'm getting at. Not necessarily the fact of when they flew, but that that travel in general.
Chilly: I... I... I would. I understand if you want to make that case for the Rams guys who got there 28 hours before the game started.
Chilly: because i could get that but if you're there a whole week i think I think that's kind of I'll tell you. CMC is always going to experience tightness or a hamstring.
Chilly: Or a knee. Hmm. Always.
Baker: I mean, i think but
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: yeah just like just like his counterpart Just like his counterpart, Mike Evans.
Sully Shaheed: Forehand.
Chilly: Is Mike Evans on the injury report for a hamstring yet?
Baker: Absolutely.
Sully Shaheed: He's on the injury report.
Chilly: Hmm.
Sully Shaheed: he He, he...
Baker: Absolutely.
Chilly: Of course he is.
Sully Shaheed: will and forever be on the injury report.
Baker: But... Like there's nothing to say. The same way you were talking about Brock Purdy being ah popular. if The 49ers are going to score. I don't think any of us are sitting here thinking that they're not going to score Could it...
Sully Shaheed: Mm -hmm.
Baker: Could it possibly be that black ends up being a good, like like not, not a good play, but ends up getting some fourth quarter work because of the fact that this game's over. Yes. But who's to say that Christian McCaffrey doesn't have.
Baker: five catches for 50 yards, another 80 on the ground, and three touchdowns. He does that, you're you're you're sitting there perfectly fine.
Chilly: I mean...
Baker: I understand the fear in it, but that fear.
Chilly: All right. And.
Baker: like Fear is not driving my decision in playing Christian McCaffrey this week.
Chilly: And. Eh. Until.
Baker: I think that's the point that I'm making.
Chilly: Until you named everybody but Debo Samuel and he gets a rushing touchdown because he's back on the 49ers.
Baker: I mean that's perfectly fine.
Chilly: okay Bye.
Baker: i think the I think the point is the fact that playing 49ers is a great strategy. in going in about this week.
Chilly: ah
Baker: The same way I was looking to play Chargers in every lineups, which failed. playing 49ers in every lineup.
Sully Shaheed: is
Baker: is still the same thought process.
Chilly: I... again like obviously cmc is going to be a great click i'm not going to knock that Um... I just think it's a George Kittle week.
Chilly: kind of more than anything but
Baker: Um,
Chilly: I mean, because, like, Michael Mayer was on his way to having a great game, and then they just kind of stopped throwing him the ball for some reason. Miami couldn't stop him.
Baker: They couldn't stop anything. That's the point of the conference.
Sully Shaheed: Because they understand. Cousins understood the assignment, Chili.
Chilly: mr
Chilly: Ashton Gentry, where are you at?
Sully Shaheed: Period. Period. um i'm gonna i'm gonna put names to you baker and now let's finish your thought um
Baker: So I...
Baker: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: Usage. Brees Hall. Against the Packers.
Baker: Go Breeze Lightning, you're running up a dynamite.
Sully Shaheed: He's always an ugly clique.
Baker: Breeze Lightning, go Breeze Lightning.
Sully Shaheed: but But he's, ah I mean, usage -wise, 25 to 30 touches probably. in this game. Green Bay wasn't great at stopping the numbers. And Aaron Jones last week. they were They were okay, but they weren't great.
Sully Shaheed: Um... And then my second name. David Montgomery.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: I mean, yeah it's perfectly into this offense.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: And it's Cincinnati.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: You want to talk about flowcharts, Baker? This is what we were doing.
Chilly: ah
Sully Shaheed: Back in the day, it was, what's the running back playing Cincinnati? Play that guy. And that's my guy.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: So it's.
Chilly: c since in cincinet I will say Cincinnati did.
Sully Shaheed: Last week was tough. parts. I love you.
Chilly: kind of shut down the run last week i mean bucky irving did get a rushing touchdown So I'm not going to knock. the the take here but they did and not that like tampa bay has always been some like awesome running team but they did shut down bucky irving last week other than that i do like I do like Bucky Irving this week against the Browns.
Sully Shaheed: Great.
Chilly: unrelated note but Uh,
Sully Shaheed: if
Chilly: I get the logic here with David Montgomery. Now, I don't know how many yards he rushed for. So I don't know.
Baker: Sixty. On 20 carries. No
Sully Shaheed: I like it.
Sully Shaheed: I like it.
Chilly: I'm not going to i'm not goingnna knock it. I kind of ah i kind of like... I think Chase Brown kind of falls into into that. I think he's a good play, but scary click. Against Houston?
Sully Shaheed: I'm telling you, man, it's the Burrow Game, boys.
Chilly: Might be more of a...
Sully Shaheed: it's boro game
Chilly: Yeah, and then he throws like two he throws ah then he throws a touchdown to Mike Kosicki, Drew Sample, Yoshibas, and then you're just like, wow. This is fantastic. This is just fantastic.
Sully Shaheed: The whole Bengals experience. In a nutshell. You're right. Don't wish that upon us.
Chilly: All right.
Sully Shaheed: Unless I had a bonus show. Don't do it.
Chilly: Or you play Burrow with Chase and T. Higgins goes off for 200 yards. Or you play Burrow with Higgins and it's it's the Chase game.
Sully Shaheed: I'm gonna get this right, you shut your mouth.
Chilly: Okay.
Chilly: I hope you do. I'm rooting for you. um But yeah, those were the two other guys I wanted to add in. I think Bucky Irving and Chase Brown um are going to go a little bit under -owned. Um,
Chilly: And again here, I... Any Buccaneer you want to put in there against the Browns, i I'm all for. so
Sully Shaheed: Baker, who you got left?
Baker: so The reason David Montgomery is an emphatic no for me outside of the inefficiency last week, obviously, he is he he bails you out with three touchdowns. like The Bengals looked...
Baker: respectable on defense. Not to say that I'm worried about the Buccaneers run game all like that. But. In Bucky Irvin's defense. His past game usage also helped bail him out. David Montgomery doesn't have that.
Baker: um Woody Marks is their past catching back. So... you don't have
Sully Shaheed: Which one? of them had a receiving touchdown last week, Baker.
Baker: Shut up. ah
Sully Shaheed: Yeah!
Baker: Every two minute drive, every two minute drive, where was David Montgomery sending his punk ass on the fucking sideline? He bailed you out with three touchdowns. That's what made his day.
Baker: he's He was inefficient. Houston still can't run the ball. I'm not saying that David Montgomery won't have more days like this. Not at all. but If I'm thinking about the bagels defense being any better.
Baker: And they're not being a. freaking ebbs and flow for running backs every week, then no, I'm not playing David Montgomery. And if he scores three more touchdowns, I will gladly take my medicine and sit the fuck down.
Baker: but I will play the odds that he's not doing that every week, especially coming off a week that he just did it.
Sully Shaheed: Man, David Montgomery, three touchdowns. Jameer Gibbs, two. Imagine if those guys were like on the same team.
Chilly: And so...
Baker: ah
Sully Shaheed: That'd be a nice duo I bet they'd be a pretty good duo.
Baker: yeah
Chilly: Edit.
Baker: You are. Right. Such a goof.
Chilly: Well... what One running back wanted more money than what he was worth.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, Jameer Gibbs, you fucking selfish bitch.
Chilly: Okay. Um, So I know you slapped, did you slap Burrow with your gold star GPP? Are you slapping him with your gold star?
Sully Shaheed: Wait, and no, the running back position is Derek Henry's got my gold star.
Chilly: Alright, no, I was just asking, okay, are you doing it for every position?
Baker: fuck
Sully Shaheed: Bro, that's the gold star.
Chilly: For QB.
Sully Shaheed: Uh -huh. I'm doing it for every position
Chilly: yeah you You did mention Brees Hall. Um, So I think my gold star play for running backs here, it's gonna it's not going to feel great, and he's going to go under -owned.
Chilly: But nobody is playing Saquon Barkley this week. um I understand they did lose one of their like pretty good offensive linemen. um but we watched the jets run all over the titans Um,
Chilly: And we know what the Eagles want to do. Uh... on a daily basis. And they also. We'll try to run the football all day. So again, nobody is playing Saquon Barkley. If you want to get different. Up top.
Chilly: So I'm going to slap Saquon with my gold star.
Sully Shaheed: Maybe Saquon is just dusty.
Chilly: He could be. he he He could...
Sully Shaheed: Maybe he's inserting dust territory, boys.
Chilly: he He may be, man. He may be. but Uh, I... I think he's still got a couple good games left. They're seven -point favorites. on the road against Tennessee.
Chilly: So.
Sully Shaheed: I know, I know. I know. It all lines up.
Chilly: And we just... And again, like, Breeze Hall.
Sully Shaheed: the eagles The Eagles are so boring. They just they're just there to go and win Like, we've we've we've entered the evil for boring category.
Chilly: Yeah, but... But their defense. They are going to be really boring, but their defense is really good. And, again, Cam Ward is so bad at the game of football.
Chilly: heat like They could just have a lot of β Saquon Barkley could have the David Montgomery stat line.
Sully Shaheed: oh
Chilly: He could have 60 yards and three touchdowns.
Sully Shaheed: You're not wrong. You're not wrong.
Chilly: Again, if you are That might be a little bit more of a deeper GPP play because, again, nobody's clicking Barkley. If you're playing more small field. You don't have to really do it.
Chilly: Um, But again, yeah, nobody is... Clicking Saquon this week. Maybe rightfully so, but...
Sully Shaheed: Facts
Chilly: I'll probably have them at the lineup.
Sully Shaheed: All right. Fair enough. All right, let's head over to our receivers with 50 minutes in. So let's get the guys that are going to be catching the football. a Baker, you got one more point at running back? Or do you want to take David Montgomery versus somebody? Cause I'll do it right now.
Baker: first Well, first of all, if you want that smoke, I will give you the the more expensive player and just kick your ass again. That's first and foremost.
Chilly: I'll...
Sully Shaheed: Come on.
Chilly: I'll take Saquon against David Montgomery.
Sully Shaheed: Alright, I'll take that bet.
Baker: that That doesn't even sound fair.
Sully Shaheed: You take that deal? I'll take that deal.
Chilly: I'll take it.
Baker: You know what? I will. I'm going to throw in the cheapest person. I'm going to be both your ass.
Chilly: Okay. We got
Baker: Give me... Gimme Jadarian Price.
Chilly: to good.
Sully Shaheed: I kind of like. i kind of like love on the opposite side i'm not gonna hold you
Baker: I mean, you can hold me. I have a picture of you recently holding me last time I saw you, but that's a neither here nor there.
Sully Shaheed: And it's a kid.
Baker: Oh.
Sully Shaheed: picture man.
Baker: When the chops were chopping.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, oh yeah.
Baker: But yeah
Sully Shaheed: Oh yeah, they were. They were.
Baker: But, yeah. ah I think this is a get -right spot. I think this is a situation where Seattle sees what they really have with this kid, Jadarian Price. and in it if they If they're going to get him going, get his confidence going in a game that they should handle handedly against Arizona.
Baker: I know we were all clamoring to play or at least myself. We're clamoring to play, and a lot of people are coming to play Amari and Hampton. I don't see why this isn't a similar situation with Jadarian Price.
Baker: Even though they're on their backup quarterback, I don't care.
Chilly: Baker, before we get to wide receiver, how did you not mention drew lock in the quarterback section?
Baker: I'm being serious this year. This is serious Baker.
Chilly: but it's a good matchup.
Baker: it's It's a really good matchup. But we're serious and we're not banking on Drew Locke taking down millionaire makers like he did in the past, which we loved.
Sully Shaheed: I'll save the rest of my thoughts for from this game when we get to hot takes.
Chilly: That's fair. Out.
Sully Shaheed: Let's talk let's talk to wide receivers, man. um And Chili, I'll start with you. Who do you like at the top? mid -priced and um you know who's got who's got some solid matchups this week Who's going to bring us home the bacon?
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, if we're looking up at the top, guys, I... I really like either one of the Cowboys wide receivers. Um, Again, i one of them is probably going to pop off this game.
Chilly: Um, I think bolts are going to be a fairly good click. ah We mentioned the Bengals guys earlier. ah again here, Chase is going to have some ownership.
Chilly: I feel like it's going to be a lot lower than what we think. And that's just my opinion. I feel like people are going to see Houston. And again, It's not like he burnt a lot of people last week.
Chilly: Um, So again here, you know, just taking a look at that. um And then again here. i've been mentioning them all week uh they may not be like the best values but like Again. get Give me...
Chilly: Give me Emeka Ibuka. Give me Chris Godwin. Again, I just think the Browns are so bad. Uh, I think Jacksonville literally took their foot off the gas last week. I think it could have been a lot worse than what it was.
Chilly: ah So kind of in that mid -range. I do like the... The. Bucks. Baker. But. Psst.
Sully Shaheed: Bucks Baker!
Sully Shaheed: um Yeah, yeah, I like those takes as well at the top. Baker, and... and Before I swing at you real quick, I think Chase's ownership is fake news. I think people are going to see Houston. I think you and people see that red defense thing. I think people are going to see that 2 .2 points from Jamar Chase and say.
Sully Shaheed: You know what? I'll wait and see by the time you wait and see the opportunities came and left. So I will definitely be. collecting Jamar Chase this week. Baker, who you got? at the top
Baker: oh I said this last week. I'll say it again oop My boy has to remind y 'all. He's the best.
Sully Shaheed: THE BEST!
Baker: wide receiver.
Sully Shaheed: Chris. NFL.
Baker: In the end. F. L. He is the best. To quote Spongebob, he is number one.
Chilly: You talking about Mike Evans?
Baker: I do. No.
Sully Shaheed: Every week, bro.
Baker: No, I am not. You know who I'm talking about. Don't play with my emotions. ah I mean Jetta. Great play. um Even though i'm kind of early in the week I'm kind of leaning more towards...
Baker: Excuse me. Early in the week, I'm kind of leaning more towards add a season just because of the fact that he. having a very disappointing opening game. in this matchup but obviously justin jefferson can pop off because his name is justin fucking jefferson yes his fucking is his middle name um I think. Just outside of the top, one of my favorite plays is Jalen Waddell. Once again, shocker, I'm interested in that game.
Baker: Denver really didn't get a chance to show off their new toy in primetime. At some point in time, they're going to get this guy involved. um I think Courtland Sutton is about to make it about to make a trip to your bus, Chill.
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah.
Baker: Um,
Sully Shaheed: Oh, Cortland's dusty.
Chilly: Uh,
Sully Shaheed: You might be dusty, boys.
Chilly: I mean, we'll see here. if the If the Broncos have one more bad quarter of football. is Sean Payton calling plays from here on out.
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Baker: A thousand percent.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. A billion percent.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Yes.
Baker: a thousand percent.
Chilly: Okay. Yeah, well... When Sean Payton gets the play calling back, I might go back to the Broncos.
Baker: I mean, he might take it over at a halftime in this game if they're not getting their shit together.
Sully Shaheed: Right!
Baker: so
Chilly: I said... I said a quarter. I'm not even giving them two halftime. I said a quarter bake.
Sully Shaheed: You just see him ripping the damn play sheet out of his hand. Like move. Go, go, go play over there.
Chilly: I mean, cause like... Because like like like you said, I think the Jacksonville guys are probably viable on the other side. I don't remember the stat exactly. um But like, if you take a look of who's this Broncos defense has played at the quarterback position.
Chilly: It's like nothing but backups. So. um It's like backups and bad quarterbacks. Eh eh. i don't Maybe the Broncos defense is overrated.
Sully Shaheed: you can
Baker: I mean, they have the best they have one of the best defensive players in the league. And outside of that. Yeah. I mean, they played great as a unit, but... They don't have individual stars.
Chilly: But, like, they literally did not play any good quarterbacks last year. And all the good ones they did play, they lost to. And not to mention Bo Nix was literally Tim Couch for the first three quarters and then turned into John Elway in the fourth.
Sully Shaheed: Ah, yes. Another schedule merging. Schedule merchant alert.
Baker: Amen.
Sully Shaheed: Bone eggs.
Baker: I mean, it's it's not it's not how you start, it's how you finish.
Chilly: I'm...
Chilly: Yeah. Yeah, that's not sustainable.
Sully Shaheed: Well, screw you Baker. I enjoy a little bit of foreplay. So I like how I start. I don't know about you Finish is cool, but...
Baker: I like.
Chilly: i
Baker: rap
Chilly: I too am.
Baker: I like how I finish.
Chilly: I like. I like foreplay as well.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah. So. F off, Baker.
Baker: Well...
Sully Shaheed: Um,
Baker: yeah Anyway...
Sully Shaheed: Baker.
Baker: Continuing with football talk, you fucking pervs.
Sully Shaheed: Thank you. Baker. Baker.
Baker: What?
Chilly: Hey man, we can have a...
Sully Shaheed: Before you can continue.
Chilly: We can have a women audience that were... That they're like, you know what?
Sully Shaheed: and Good on them. Good on them.
Chilly: Good on them. Good on them.
Sully Shaheed: Good on them.
Sully Shaheed: ah Baker.
Baker: What?
Sully Shaheed: Jetta.
Baker: Versus.
Sully Shaheed: is getting my gold star wide receiver.
Baker: Ow! Is he really?
Sully Shaheed: yeah You had me at Bears.
Baker: Did we?
Baker: Didn't see that one coming.
Sully Shaheed: jet Jetta is the gold star player of the week for me. You would think it would be Jamar Chase because I tagged Joe Burrow with the motto. But I think that. in certain lineups because of...
Sully Shaheed: And pricing, once again, not reflecting productivity as of week two on both these websites. There is a world where you can jam in Jamar Chase and Jetta in the same lineup and feel good about your lineup.
Sully Shaheed: So that's where I'm going to go this week. especially in Caleb Williams' stats. I think that bring back is very easy. And I think it just makes a lot of sense ah logistically only because.
Sully Shaheed: Carson Wentz understands the assignment.
Baker: 18.
Sully Shaheed: One. 8. Go.
Baker: Ball.
Chilly: Um,
Sully Shaheed: Here you go.
Chilly: Speaking of people that understand the assignment, we haven't mentioned JSN yet. He's basically...
Sully Shaheed: He's too expensive!
Chilly: he So he's basically like Cooper Cup, right? It's his death taxes in JSN, right?
Baker: I mean...
Sully Shaheed: He's just so expensive man.
Baker: He also understands the assignment.
Chilly: Drew Locke understands the assignment.
Baker: Speaking of understanding the assignment, Tyler shook. understands the assignment.
Sully Shaheed: Chris Lave and Devon Bailey are on the menu. Believe that.
Baker: No. Chris Alave. Period.
Sully Shaheed: No, Devon Bailey, nine targets, six semi -yards and a touchdown last week.
Baker: Really good.
Sully Shaheed: He he gets it everywhere.
Chilly: jaan john I mean, it's basically going to Vele, Jawan Johnson.
Sully Shaheed: So.
Chilly: I mean, although, you know... ah Travis, whatever he wants to keep that changing his last name. I'm going to call him ETN whether he likes it or not.
Sully Shaheed: Johnson.
Baker: The guy from Clemson.
Chilly: Yeah.
Baker: The guy from Clemson.
Chilly: Yeah. he had a uh he kind of had a serviceable game even with receptions too
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, he makes a great DraftKings play, but for FanDuel, he's going to be a skip for me. But I get what you're saying.
Baker: I mean, we chuck the ball 40 times. Everybody's going to get targets.
Chilly: But...
Sully Shaheed: Um...
Chilly: I mean, that's good enough to be in your MVP ballot.
Baker: sometimes
Sully Shaheed: Not in
Baker: Maybe.
Chilly: that's that's That's good enough to be in your MVP ballot, right?
Baker: Bye.
Chilly: that's
Baker: No, because Bryce Young was better.
Chilly: No.
Baker: Go fuck yourself.
Chilly: but but But it doesn't matter. He had all the attempts.
Baker: So.
Chilly: He passes to all these guys, Baker.
Baker: Fuck yourself.
Chilly: It doesn't matter. ah
Baker: That is for you.
Sully Shaheed: MOVIE -
Baker: That is for you.
Chilly: Ah. ah My... ah Before we move on to tight ends, my gold star is probably Luther Burden. I don't. Again, ah I'm just going back to this bear as well. uh I'm going to gold star Luther Burden.
Baker: I mean, I love Luther Burton as... ah i played him last week i'm probably going to go back to him in this game as well
Sully Shaheed: Let's go back, Baker. Let's go back together.
Baker: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Let's do it together.
Baker: Are we going back as a deli? Feels like we're going back as a deli.
Chilly: I'm going back.
Baker: as a collective unit
Sully Shaheed: Come on, man. just run this just run this caleb
Baker: and
Sully Shaheed: Luther Burton. And Colson Loveland stack with me. Run it back with Jetta.
Baker: I did that.
Chilly: Ah.
Baker: I did that last week
Sully Shaheed: and print.
Baker: i literally did that
Chilly: I'm doing that.
Sully Shaheed: Let's do it again.
Chilly: I'm doing it, I'm doing it again
Sully Shaheed: Let's.
Baker: I did that. I did.
Chilly: I'm doing it again.
Baker: I didn't.
Sully Shaheed: Let's... Let's run it back.
Chilly: Just know. I'm running that same stack again
Sully Shaheed: As am I. As you should as well, Baker.
Chilly: I'm just going to pray that Minnesota. absolutely just wants to check ben johnson's ego and doesn't allow them to run the ball and Caleb Williams has to pass 50 times.
Baker: Lord help me if Caleb Williams has to pass 50 times for the love of fuck.
Sully Shaheed: um Real quick on some cheapies. Do we... Do we believe in any Baltimore receiver that's going to be stepping in? Do we believe in Dontavian Wicks? Do we believe in... um romeo dobbs with no aj brown i mean We gotta find some salary savings somewhere. Anybody on the cheap end?
Sully Shaheed: that we could Plug and play. Caleb Douglas was the guy last week, gave us a high productivity at a cheap price. Anybody be targeting this?
Chilly: Caleb. Douglas. That's who I would play.
Sully Shaheed: Again.
Chilly: I played Caleb Douglas last week.
Sully Shaheed: Again.
Chilly: Caleb. Douglas.
Sully Shaheed: It worked.
Chilly: they're going to be They're going to be down by a lot of points. And like, historically speaking. San Francisco, for whatever reason, has always struggled against mobile quarterbacks. I'm not saying Miami's going to stay in the game because they're not.
Chilly: But for whatever reason... They do struggle with mobile quarterbacks.
Chilly: So Caleb.
Sully Shaheed: I'm here for it.
Chilly: Douglas.
Sully Shaheed: Douglas. um Let's get into the two positions we don't give a shit about. uh tight ends
Sully Shaheed: What do you want to talk about?
Chilly: Cut.
Sully Shaheed: Because I don't want to talk about anybody that's not named Colson Loveland.
Chilly: Close.
Chilly: ah You should probably, I mean, from last week, I think Michael Mayer, you'd probably go right back to that weld.
Sully Shaheed: Agreed.
Baker: Brock might be back this week.
Sully Shaheed: He won't be full capacity, though.
Chilly: Get the fuck out. Listen. Did you guys know that...
Sully Shaheed: I don't care what the report says.
Chilly: did Do you guys know that Michael Mayer is the fourth highest paid tight end in the league?
Sully Shaheed: Didn't he just get his contract like yesterday?
Chilly: Yes, he did but he is fourth He is fourth. He's fourth or fifth. The Raiders.
Baker: That's so much That is so disturbing.
Chilly: The Raiders are going to be running two tight ends all season. I don't know if that's good or bad for Brock Bowers, but just know Michael Mayer is always going to be that. That cheap click.
Sully Shaheed: He's gonna be he's gonna be the Cole commit Of the Raiders.
Baker: Basically.
Chilly: Yeah, but the thing is, is like... The thing is, is like... Mayor is probably their... Third or second best? Receiver?
Sully Shaheed: You're not wrong.
Baker: That's such a...
Sully Shaheed: i i fell I fell right into the Trey Tucker trap last week, and I apologize to everybody.
Baker: That's such a disturbing thing.
Sully Shaheed: But you know what? He was chalk. So um that was all of us. F 'ing up.
Chilly: he was ah he He was the industry plant last week.
Sully Shaheed: So...
Sully Shaheed: Yes! Yes. That. Yes, a thousand.
Chilly: him it him and k Him and Kyler Murray were the industry plants.
Baker: Hey.
Sully Shaheed: that
Baker: I can deal with a lot of conversations that have happened tonight. You are not talking about me like that, all right? I refuse.
Chilly: What?
Baker: Read. used to sit here and let you talk about no no you talking bad about me
Chilly: I didn't say any... I didn't say... I didn't say anything negative I didn't say anything negative
Baker: No, no. Yep. Leave my wife's name out your mother. Your mouth!
Sully Shaheed: a
Chilly: Again, you're you're not married. you're not married and You're not married in this fake football life or real life.
Baker: You don't know what...
Sully Shaheed: And Kyler is boo.
Baker: You don't know what me and Kyler did behind closed doors, alright?
Chilly: Nothing.
Baker: Don't speak on things you don't know, Chil. Don't speak up things you don't know.
Chilly: I...
Sully Shaheed: Kyler is boo. Period.
Chilly: um I mean, we already mentioned them, but it's it sounds like the deli is probably playing Coastal Newfoundland.
Sully Shaheed: Gold star.
Sully Shaheed: Colson Loveland. Gold star play. Do it.
Chilly: i mean I mean, if you're following the flowchart or replaying... Dalton Schultz.
Baker: No.
Sully Shaheed: Do it. I mean, the good doctor did have nine targets last week.
Baker: No. No. No. No.
Chilly: Again, he's arguably their second best wide receiver.
Baker: No.
Chilly: But Baker, you are a flow chart man.
Sully Shaheed: You are a flow chart guy.
Baker: I am a flow chart guy. But the answer is no.
Sully Shaheed: The flowchart says... We should be playing the good doctor.
Chilly: Um... Do we even have to mention Trey McBride or is he just, we just.
Baker: Just click them.
Chilly: the
Baker: just click training prep. Just... just just
Sully Shaheed: I mean...
Baker: Just do it.
Sully Shaheed: This week...
Baker: Thanks.
Sully Shaheed: This week I won't be able to find room for him. um because i want so much jamar chase and our king and jetta
Chilly: Don't. don't
Chilly: you this i i I would have more respect i would have had more respect for you if you'd be like, you know what?
Sully Shaheed: Right.
Chilly: It's a tough click. It's Seattle. Don't tell me you can't find space for Trey McBride.
Baker: You start the team with Trey McBride and you have the space.
Sully Shaheed: And do all.
Chilly: Thanks.
Sully Shaheed: FanDuel aggressively prices him so much compared to DraftKings though.
Chilly: Yeah. what oh me good What is his brace on Fandor?
Sully Shaheed: He is 7 '5".
Baker: Sheesh.
Chilly: So you play Michael Mayer. So you double tight end on FanDuel, right? You play like Michael Mayer and then you play Trey McBride.
Baker: Don't you fucking dare. That was huge. fucking dare.
Chilly: Hey, I did that last week.
Sully Shaheed: Have you changed?
Chilly: It worked out well.
Sully Shaheed: Have you changed? if you change that te to WR7500. is a solid price.
Chilly: Oh, yeah. It's it it's he's it's a
Sully Shaheed: I would say he's... underpriced.
Chilly: It's a lock!
Sully Shaheed: I would say. Yeah, exactly.
Baker: okay
Sully Shaheed: I would say he's underpriced at $7 ,500.
Chilly: Yeah. It's a lot.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, you're right. I might have to do the double tight end.
Chilly: I mean...
Sully Shaheed: Just to get Jamie Price.
Chilly: I...
Sully Shaheed: He's so good.
Chilly: I mean, like... I again here, depending on how it seems, I think like last week it was ideal to play double tight end. uh because my because mayor because mayorer was so cheap i mean mayor paid off
Sully Shaheed: It was fun. It's fine. Like, I think there's going to be a lot of fine guys, right? like Yeah. No homo. But. um Hunter Henry. Sure.
Sully Shaheed: You get funky with Brenton Strange. sure. Like, there's there's guys you can play.
Chilly: Uh...
Sully Shaheed: Jawan Johnson, you can go right back to Jawan.
Chilly: I mean... I mean, i mean we we've mentioned dusty guys on this podcast all all night.
Sully Shaheed: That's fine.
Sully Shaheed: Don't you dare stay.
Chilly: ah come on say his name Mark Andrews, right?
Sully Shaheed: He's all the buzz. He's on the bus, bro. That dude is dust.
Chilly: they There is nobody else left to catch the football. This might be the one and only Mark Andrews game. ah hey Hey, last week he got...
Sully Shaheed: If I...
Chilly: Last week he got like seven points.
Sully Shaheed: If I go to sleep. or i'm not about to fall asleep on the couch and knowing that mark andrews is the one to do it I could live with that.
Sully Shaheed: I'm like...
Baker: Okay.
Sully Shaheed: hu
Baker: Oh yeah, you can definitely live with that.
Chilly: Listen, I'm the same for a cheap click.
Sully Shaheed: Huh.
Baker: He ain't that cheap!
Sully Shaheed: If I... If I play Lamar.
Baker: He ain't that cheap.
Sully Shaheed: The answer would be yes.
Chilly: Our fan is pretty cheap. He's 5 ,200, which I think is pretty cheap.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, that's that's dog shit cheap. Yeah. Because Michael B.
Baker: On DraftKings.
Sully Shaheed: It's 53.
Baker: DraftKings still said nope.
Chilly: I'm trying to think of this. He's 44 on DraftKings, which I still don't believe is bad.
Baker: That's not dirt cheap. I could play Jawan Johnson over him. I can find the money to get to Colston Loveland. Like, what are we doing here?
Sully Shaheed: Dr. Schultz.
Baker: I can play your flowchart.
Sully Shaheed: Same.
Baker: or my flowchart or the flowchart.
Chilly: Yeah.
Baker: last year's flowchart
Chilly: I still...
Sully Shaheed: real quick.
Chilly: ah
Sully Shaheed: what about uh what about kenyan sadiq
Baker: Not enough volume.
Chilly: He had a night. He had a nice rushing touchdown last week. He has a rushing floor.
Sully Shaheed: I know! He's still super cheap. I think as he gets more and more integrated in the offense, I think he'll be. Not an explosive player, but like... it can be solid man i kind of like
Chilly: Oh. I mean...
Sully Shaheed: I like the Sadiq click.
Chilly: I mean, I mentioned him earlier. I really like George Kittle. And in this spot, I know he's still probably trying to get used to the ah or coming off of the, you know, the injury. ah But this, this to me, uh, plus like. We kind of didn't mention it. like ah Teams like ah the Patriots. I know the Rams aren't on the main slate.
Chilly: ah Patriots. 49ers. Rams. They all have very long extended breaks. Uh... So...
Chilly: I mean, for the 49ers. at home against Miami off of a long extended break. I don't think this bodes well for the Dolphins.
Baker: At no point in time did it bode well for the Dolphins when the 49ers were on their schedule.
Chilly: And...
Chilly: I mean... you're You're not? You're not wrong. um But... off of the mini buy it doesn't mode well at all.
Baker: Sully you're muted
Sully Shaheed: I hate when I do that. I think that's the first time I did it in the show. I'm an hour in. So, I mean, it's pretty good. ah Defenses, let's hit it. Give me a couple takes. And let's ah let's wrap that. Let's wrap that up. because defense is tough.
Chilly: te
Baker: Seattle.
Chilly: Tampa Bay.
Sully Shaheed: oh God, I like Tampa Bay. That's just how I watch it. IT'S SO BAD! um Who plays Cooper Rush? okay
Chilly: Carolina.
Sully Shaheed: Carolina. Yeah, the team that just gave up 60.
Chilly: Uh... If you... If you... If you want to be the direct pivot and nobody's going to play them, the Eagles are still playing Cam Ward. and they're And they're priced $100 above Tampa Bay, and nobody's playing the Eagles.
Sully Shaheed: Hey, listen, if everybody's playing Bichon. You just play the defense going against them as the ultimate leverage play. Just putting it out there. leverage silly.
Sully Shaheed: leverage
Chilly: I think the ultimate rep the ultimate leverage play is playing the Bears defense and praying to God Carson Wentz is terrible.
Sully Shaheed: I can't play a defense against my gold star wide receiver. I'm sorry. I can't do it. Gold star.
Baker: ah
Sully Shaheed: Gold star.
Baker: I mean, you could play Minnesota's defense against... The... Bears.
Sully Shaheed: You could. You could. You definitely could.
Chilly: I mean, if you're one of those people that take week one to heart, you could always just play the Jags defense.
Sully Shaheed: You could. You could!
Sully Shaheed: fraudulent Bo Nix. Schedule merchant next.
Chilly: um or Or...
Sully Shaheed: Um...
Chilly: Or I don't know if we mentioned them, but the 49ers.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, I mean, yeah Anybody gets Dolphins on the menu.
Chilly: Yeah.
Sully Shaheed: Anybody. And everybody. They're on the video. um Listen, if you made it to this point in the podcast or the YouTube vid, wherever you're watching, make sure you hit the like and subscribe because it helps us out a ton.
Sully Shaheed: uh helps us the algorithm and get our voices out to more and more people and more and more like individuals like -minded individuals like yourself out in the world. So like, subscribe, make sure you do the thing.
Sully Shaheed: It's my favorite portion of the show. It is the hot. 10. We're going to put a six leg TD parlay together amongst ourselves. We didn't do so hot last week, but we're going to bounce back this week.
Sully Shaheed: and make sure you turn your thing bucks.
Baker: No, you didn't do so hot. You did terrible
Chilly: Bye.
Sully Shaheed: Make sure you turn your 10 bucks.
Chilly: Hmm.
Sully Shaheed: into a few hundred dollars.
Baker: You did terrible.
Sully Shaheed: with this parlay maker.
Baker: Like at least me and Phil got one.
Sully Shaheed: Shit.
Baker: You got shit.
Sully Shaheed: Welcome. Oh.
Chilly: Yeah
Sully Shaheed: I'm locked in this week, Baker. I'm locked. in. I'm locked in. Baker. Give me two for the parlay and hit me with something hot.
Baker: ay Two for the parlay. We are going to take Jadarian Price for a touchdown.
Sully Shaheed: Amen.
Baker: I... I don't have to say our king because I know one of you fucks is gonna say him. At least I pray one of you fucks says him. So I'm going to go somewhere different.
Sully Shaheed: I don't know
Baker: So I'm a guy.
Sully Shaheed: love
Baker: I'ma go somewhere we different.
Baker: Give me Parker Washington. for a touchdown.
Sully Shaheed: o
Sully Shaheed: Ooh, starting out, Baker coming in the kitchen with some... Bye. bites
Baker: Well, as you said in the pre -show, and as the freaking...
Sully Shaheed: I like it.
Baker: ah AI generated. I'm just dirty out here. So.
Sully Shaheed: It's the best picture of all time. i there It's so good.
Baker: I love that picture. I do love that picture.
Sully Shaheed: Yes. So good. Oh my gosh. Baker, hit me with a hot take.
Baker: Hat take.
Baker: The Broncos. And... Jags. Score a total of 70 plus.
Sully Shaheed: wow that's That's hot. but that Yeah, that's silly. You're right. yeah Hit him with the look. oh okay
Baker: Hold on.
Sully Shaheed: yeah
Baker: I didn't see the look. Hold on. What was the look? Because I ain't got you on my screen. What was the look, Joe?
Sully Shaheed: youre That look.
Baker: Yeah, you heard me, Joe. He said bold. We getting bold out here.
Sully Shaheed: It's bold. It's bold. Chili, what are your legs for the parlay? And give me some hot. that the viewers and listeners can take home with them and start their start setting their bfs rosters
Chilly: Well... Uh... um and I'm going back to the part of my parlay that missed last week. Throw Saquon Barkley's dusty ass.
Baker: oh Goodness gracious.
Chilly: That's part way.
Baker: Well, we missed this parlay already, guys. I can tell you that right now.
Chilly: And then give me the deli special. Give me some Colson Loveland. On the parlay.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. Yeah. As I'm talking about.
Sully Shaheed: And then what you got hot for us? What you got hot? Serving it up hot. All the way until the lock.
Chilly: Serving it up hot You know what? I think this is hot enough. I think the dolphins. i think the dolphins cover the spread
Sully Shaheed: A dolphin's cover.
Chilly: And then...
Sully Shaheed: Okay.
Chilly: If if we're going to go more fantasy football related. I think give me the Bears to score. 45 points.
Sully Shaheed: that was gonna be my hot take it was actually gonna be 50 on it
Chilly: Okay. Oh, okay.
Sully Shaheed: So what I'm gonna put, you said 40 or 45?
Chilly: I said 45
Baker: He's at 45.
Chilly: I said 45.
Sully Shaheed: 45.
Sully Shaheed: For the Bears. all right all right i'm i'm liking this um let's let's say you know my two legs of course you know my king will be represented in said. said parlay, so let's...
Sully Shaheed: Let's put our king in there. And then because I know he's minus 340. or something like that to score.
Baker: Oh, Lord. chief
Sully Shaheed: I think we're gonna go ahead and... but Let's spice it up a bit. I mean, you know what? i already know. I'm gonna go back to one of my gold stars. It's Jenna.
Sully Shaheed: It's John. Jed is going to get in the box again.
Baker: You scared me with that minus three, whatever. I was so scared. worried.
Sully Shaheed: Minus 340 for an any time for King Henry?
Chilly: It was that it was that Gibbs was at the similar number one knee
Sully Shaheed: It was something stupid.
Baker: he was he was my He was minus three something.
Chilly: Yes.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah.
Chilly: that's
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, so there's Star King in there, and let's get Jedha in there. um My bold call for real life football is that the Arizona Cardinals. Win outright.
Sully Shaheed: Just like last year, they start 2 -0.
Baker: over Seattle. Over for Seattle?
Sully Shaheed: Yeah. against Seattle. I think they went outright.
Chilly: Man, we should just par we should just parlay the Dolphins covering and the Cardinals money line.
Sully Shaheed: I think they went out already.
Sully Shaheed: Oh man, listen, that's...
Chilly: it
Sully Shaheed: That's got to be. Plus. Plus 1 ,200 easily.
Chilly: You know, it's got me.
Sully Shaheed: Easily.
Baker: Amen.
Chilly: Peace. It's got to be something pretty good.
Baker: I mean, we we could we could throw a parlay with just the hot takes. Alone. Cardinals win, Dolphins cover, and hammer the fuck out of the over of the Denver game.
Chilly: I may. I'm made for shits and giggles.
Sully Shaheed: Why not? Why not? Why not? And then um for fantasy wise, I think that, I think that. I still want to follow in your footsteps about the Bears, but...
Sully Shaheed: Let me let me pivot the other way. I think that Joe Burrow. is a top three quarterback this week. along with Jamar Chase. being a top three receiver this week.
Sully Shaheed: So give me my give my give my other gold star quarterback and give me his top target. Big bounce back for Jamar Chase this week. Top three. and adrenaline will be in my soul. Something, something Joe Burrow.
Baker: Cody Rhodes. roads
Sully Shaheed: Gotta give them what they can't receive. Baker, closing thoughts?
Baker: Uh... I mean, I hope that you enjoyed I hope that you like the banter. I still hate chill. And...
Sully Shaheed: Cheers!
Baker: Yeah. Parker Washington for president this week.
Sully Shaheed: Not for president.
Baker: For prep. for president.
Sully Shaheed: That's really closing thoughts.
Chilly: Yeah, display the good plays. Again. It's a don't.
Sully Shaheed: yeah Yes.
Chilly: okay but the plays right ah Don't overthink the slate. It's still early. Um, Always take week one here with a grain of salt. uh, But again, here...
Chilly: I. to Just play. Don't get outrageous.
Sully Shaheed: right
Chilly: You don't have to get crazy yet, especially if you're playing small field. this this Let's play this played the dudes that you know are going to do well. in good matchups. ah Again, don't be afraid to play these elite players in not -so -good matchups because they can pay off as well.
Chilly: Uh,
Sully Shaheed: Jaburo!
Chilly: ah what he said.
Sully Shaheed: Yeah, it's going to be a great week. You know, shake off week one. If you you know cut your losses, let's get back into it in week two. Guys remember to like and subscribe on your way out. This has been the DFS Deli for. Chewie.
Sully Shaheed: Baker, I've been your boy, Sully. This has been the DFS Daily. I'm going to go as a shot. I will see you all. and Thanks for listening. Peace.
Chilly: Is there supposed to be music playing?
Chilly: Good. Cause there's no.
Sully Shaheed: Hmm.
