Chances are you don’t know much about Duncan Spencer, and that’s because he only played 16 First Class matches across 13 years. But there is a reason people still whisper about him… Spencer was fast. And so I got Jacob Kuriype to come on and chat about this very fascinating player, who in his brief career he came up against Justin Langer in a locker room tussle, Ricky Ponting in a mid-pitch altercation, dismissed Kumar Sangakkara as his last wicket and roughed up Viv Richards in his last professional match. Oh, and Spencer was the first Australian cricketer suspended for using PEDs.
