Speaker: She is a canary. with um She's yellow with ashy spots all over her, hence her name. Hello. We didn't realise she'd arc up and be so chatty when we started talking. Yeah, so I'm just going to gently remove her from the space. Oh, bless. Because she'll be... True. Yeah, she loves um when we chat, so she's just joining in.
Speaker: Yep, so Erin's going to remove her while I talk. Absolute trash. um So... What did we do on this on the on the spring break? The summer break? Not much. Listen, a lot of swimming, a lot of sleeping.
Speaker: A lot of family times, lot of food and booze. Yeah, not much else really. Pretty boring, but pretty pretty healing, you know? Everyone needs a really big sleep in life. Speaker: Anyway... We thought we'd come back um to season two with a little bit more of a game plan to get, like, on site a bit more and maybe do a few more deeper dives and peel back the amount of episodes, but kind of jam-pack the episodes that we will release with more intense content, you feel?
Speaker: Yeah, like, we want to, like... if I'm going to translate what Catherine just said, we've been, we've been like, what can season two be? And we want to like experience more paranormal stuff firsthand.
Speaker: And so we're kind of looking at locations a bit more. yeah So we're like going to places and seeing what is happening to us. and yeah Like, and it's really interesting because we're twins. It's like,
Speaker: we kind of don't say much until after the fact and then it's like, no fucking way. Did that happen to you? Because that happened to me. like this We do have a lot of, yeah, it's good to have both of us kind of approach a place, spend the night and then wake up in the morning after spending the night in two separate rooms and coming back with like,
Speaker: Stories that match and like yeah, and just weird coincidences and all that sort of stuff. So yeah, we've already had a rural getaway in the old wheat belt WA and that was ah Probably the first and last time we'll ever do a two-night stay yeah at a severely haunted location But hey, you got to do it. like Let's put it this way Catherine and I have watched a lot of YouTube channels that do paranormal hunting and even on TV I watch like ghost adventures and stuff and you watch it and as someone who's seen spirits and ghosts I'm like yeah like they don't always bullshit this but you watch it and you go god they're embellishing that like that can't happen
Speaker: But I feel like after this two-night stay, we were like, everything's real. yeah No one bullshits this shit. Like, I'm watching shows again with, like, a new appreciation. I'm like, this shit's fucked. like People aren't making it up. And if they are, I feel like you can sometimes kind of tell now. then Because the stuff that we were feeling and saying, I was like, oh, I never thought I'd...
Speaker: see myself feeling and hearing these things and having to verbalize it yeah in a way that I've actually seen on TV. Like, oh, this room is making me feel severely ill. Speaker: Yeah, how do we have any story? I mean When do we not have stories? Well, how about well this is interesting like just So all the future, you know, it's funny, like just getting my head around the fact that we literally went away for two nights yeah to this extremely haunted location.
Speaker: And then we had like a month or two away from that experience. And then we were like, cool, let's book. and another extremely haunted location. So I'm kind of like excited for that, but also don't know why I'm doing, we're doing this to ourselves. But can we, like, I think, like we said, we, you know, you watch these things, but how rarely are the people that are doing these investigations staying overnight? And if they are, yeah that's like the big thing is they stay overnight and it's only one night.
Speaker: And if it's like a weekend, it's like a huge event, right? So we went straight in doing two nights. Yeah. So after the first night, we were like, shit, we have to stay here again. Yeah. We were sleep deprived after that first night. didn't sleep, guys, yeah too for two nights. Yeah, for two nights. But the, so the kicker is now we know what not to do. Yes. We're never going to stay two nights. The next thing we booked.
Speaker: is a night investigation we're coming home yeah we're not we're not staying anywhere near that place yeah yeah so i am actually thrilled with that and that makes it more exciting because i think we can still tap into the same energies um but we know where they're staying and where they're not staying they're not coming home with us so yeah yeah yeah we're not going to be living with them for two days and yeah exactly yeah so we've just learned a few things this uh coming season we'll put that into place but yeah the next episode after this you'll definitely hear about um what not to do yeah yeah we'll give you some tips like if you are keen to like experience some haunted stuff we'll be like hey we thought this was going to be easy yeah it's

Yes. um You know, at the start of the year, we do tend to get a bit ah swept up on what could be and what our goals are for the year, you know, and that can feel overwhelming but it's like low and slow guys you have so many options you're probably still building something that you were building before even if it's a new thing um things don't happen overnight so patience patience with whatever you're building um unity is kind of coming up which is kind of cute and i think that is you know
Speaker: Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Maybe some people ah kind of got their little lovey-dovey eyes on potential love out there for people. um That's not the hugest part of the message, but it's there and that's kind of cute.
Speaker: ah lean into it lean into it if you've a little thing going on but yeah the main message is like don't get too in your head about things it's the start of the year anything can happen if you had a plan of how the year would go and you're already not feeling it you can change it that's fine um stay in your power you hold the key um so yeah all very like start the year positive messaging there like Just keep at it.
Speaker: Low and slow. i think low and slow and like steady and strong is kind of the theme of this year. Like just make sure you are staying strong in what you want to do and stick with it.
Speaker: But it's also okay to change. You know what mean? Common sense in a way. But also, like, you know, don't get, don't feel stuck just because maybe someone said, that's a really good idea, you should do it, oh my god, and then you're like, oh shit, maybe that isn't a good idea. Why have I just told the whole world I'm going to do this and now I'm not going to do it?
Speaker: That's okay. Yeah, only you know what works for you.

I feel like going off what you were saying with slow and steady... and you can take your time i think that is really powerful because you can really grow steady foundations in anything you do um even if it's not necessarily a creative project it's like it could be personal development it could be um continuing to
Speaker: Grow strong relationships with existing friendships or family members just like slow and steady You don't have to have it right now, but the excitement of breaking through what has been kind of a Thought or yeah, like a difficult Previous few few months when you finally feel that relief of like ah everything feels lighter It's okay to sit in that ah a bit. Yeah, just breathe give yourself a moment. Yeah reset or keep going, you know Yeah, that definitely felt like the message. Yeah, that's what I was... Sorry, I hope I helped summarise that. But yeah, there is a cute little um Two of Cups energy, which is like... I think it's very like... I think people, as much as they want to turn away from Valentine's Day, I think a lot of single people kind of go, oh, could this be the moment...
Speaker: I find love like, I don't know. I don't know. Do people still send messages to people on Valentine's Day? Like what's all that about? I don't know. Is it, is it cheesy? Is it not? Is it just a ah time where people start thinking about it? Cause that's, it's just in the air. It's funny. Lean into love a little cause it'll add some fun to your month. Yeah.
