Speaker: Welcome to the Slut Next Door podcast, where we dive deep into desire, unravel kinks and fetishes, and explore the deliciously naughty side of self-discovery.
Speaker: I'm Beatrix Vale, an erotic audio creator, and your guide to all things kinky and curious. So let's begin.
Speaker: Welcome boys and anyone curious enough to listen in. So we're going to talk about the month of October, which all across the world of kink and submission, that means men are locking themselves into little cages.
Speaker: Some do it for fun some for discipline, and some because they just can't imagine a single day without that delicious ache of denial.
Speaker: So it's called Locktober, which is a whole month where chastity becomes more than just really a fantasy. It's practice, a ritual, and even a challenge.
Speaker: For submissive men, it's a chance to prove devotion, surrender control, and discover just how much pleasure can grow inside frustration.
Speaker: So in today's episode, I'm just going to take you a little deeper. We're going to talk about where Locktober comes from, why men crave being locked, and what those shiny little cages really mean when they're clasped shut.
Speaker: And by the end, you'll understand why chastity isn't just about what you can't do. It's about everything you feel when you give that control away.
Speaker: So let's jump into it. And we're gonna start with the basics. So what exactly is Locktober? Kind of mentioned that before. It's a month long event celebrated every October where men commit to wearing a chassis cage for the entire month.
Speaker: And from what I understand, it started as ah online challenge within online kinky communities. And now it's kind of grown into yearly tradition so that every fall, thousands of men around the world take part, sharing their progress, their struggles, and just kind of celebrating the act of chastity.
Speaker: For a lot of people, I think Glocktober just isn't just about the cage. It's more like a ritual and for some even the community aspect of it.
Speaker: And it's also about kind of pushing limits, the whole tease and denial kink and also proving to themselves and to their doms that they can surrender for more than just a few hours.
Speaker: And now on to my favorite part, the why. I love digging into the why of things. the psychology behind it. Because you might be wondering, like, why would a man choose until to physically lock himself up in a cock cage for an entire month, even a day, but an entire month? That's a pretty long time.
Speaker: And the reasons become varied, you know, just like we're all very unique people. I think for some it's about surrender.
Speaker: It's just... A way to hand over control, like to stop making choices about their own pleasure and just live in obedience.
Speaker: And there's freedom in that. There's freedom from a lot of things in that. So, you know, you're free from temptation, free from guilt, free to just simply serve, fully surrender.
Speaker: I think for some, it's about the ache. So like, just imagine being kept on edge day after day, and then every throb inside your little cage, every thought circling back to arousal that you can't touch, and the frustration itself becomes its own kind of pleasure. Kind of like this constant hum of arousal that never quite goes away.
Speaker: And I think that hits harder in some people than others. Just the whole denial kink, being told no or making yourself be told no.
Speaker: And, you know, just that ache becomes something that people like to chase after. And then I think for some people, the, you know, act of doing something like Locktober gives someone a chance to show devotion.
Speaker: You know, it gives us a submissive man a chance to prove something, not not just to themselves, but to the ones who hold their key. And so a month long of chastity becomes a gift of loyalty, a demonstration of willpower, and then a very physical reminder of who they belong to.
Speaker: And that's all just such a beautiful thing. If chastity is something you're into, of course. And then i think for some people it's it's a lot about community.
Speaker: So during Locktober, men will share their struggles and their victories online and it just becomes like this point of conversation, point of community.
Speaker: um I think that there's communities where they're comparing notes and and teasing each other and then finding comfort and knowing they're not alone and denial, kind of just like a playful camaraderie that makes the challenge even more rewarding.
Speaker: So you know regardless of why you would do Locktober, think the reasons I'll point back to the same truth and that being locked makes someone feel more submissive, more controlled, and more themselves, especially that part of themselves that for some is a very strong piece of their self or for some, you know, participating in online events
Speaker: kind of dynamics and community is the only chance they get to really exude their submissive nature. Last year, I actually held Locktober event.
Speaker: So I had a group of men that every single day i checked in with them. i gave them tasks. We, you know, really, we really had our own little community there.
Speaker: And i got to know some of their, their whys pretty intimately. And it was really fun to, to see them interact with each other.
Speaker: And i believe that we all kind of grew closer together through these October events, through me giving tasks and You know, because sometimes the the task I would invite them to share amongst each other, not just with me.
Speaker: So it definitely became this little community. And some of them were physically caged where some of them, and this is an important piece of Locktober, you can participate in Locktober without a cage.
Speaker: And you would call that honor chastity. So... Just like an invisible cage, you know, around you. i actually have a file called 31 Day Chastity Brainwash where you don't have to have a cage to participate. You can just...
Speaker: somewhat to feel an invisible cage around you and participate that way. And I'm very happy to tell you that a lot of them that did the honor chastity made it through full month, according to them.
Speaker: I mean, ah hey, I know they could have been lying to me, but I really do believe them. um And it still becomes the same... You get the same effects from doing it that way.
Speaker: I think a chastity cage probably elevates the experience a little bit more because it's a physical manifestation of your submission and your devotion and your chastity.
Speaker: However... you know, honor chastity, especially when you have someone, ah quote unquote, watching you and in control of your honor chastity. It's a pretty powerful and effective form of participating in Locktober.
Speaker: Now, with that said, let's talk about chastity cages themselves. A little educational piece, if you will. So chastity devices, they come in all shapes, all kinds of different materials. You can have metal, plastic, silicone, and some are pretty heavy and solid, and some are designed for long-term wear.
Speaker: while others are more lightweight and flexible and a little bit better for shorter sessions. And there's all sorts of cages out there, like ones that are that are open, if you will, that allow a lot of airflow into it.
Speaker: So ah then there's some that are way more closed off, keeping everything more snug and hidden away. And it's always a bit funny for me to give men advice on chastity cages because i don't have a penis. So i don't have, you know, personal experience with that. I've, especially when it comes to choosing chastity cage, I've definitely played with a man with a chastity cage many men
Speaker: online wearing chastity cage but when it comes to the fit you know how it feels unfortunately like I just have to go by what I hear other men tell me about it but what I do know if you are wanting to do chastity chastity cage the most important part is fit and um you know, too tight and you'll literally hurt yourself and we don't want that too loose and you'll be able to slip out and what's the point?
Speaker: So well-fitted cage is extremely important. It should feel secure and noticeable but not painful. However, they do have cages out there that do bring a little pain with it, but, you know, we're talking about typical chassis cages.
Speaker: They should definitely just remind you that cage that you're locked every time you move without causing damage. Now, if you're wondering, hygiene is still an important factor when doing long-term chastity wear.
Speaker: I am thinking of a particular gentleman right now that wears pretty much almost every day. When he takes a shower, his cage does come off to, you know, do proper cleaning and and all that good stuff.
Speaker: But I do know that some more serious chastity cage wearers don't take them off and you are able to still clean yourself from what I understand. And definitely you can still, you know, urinate with a chastity cage on.
Speaker: But I think chastity wear is a lot like everything else in life, it's kind of up to you what your preferences are. There's no right or wrong way to do it and unless your dom says it's wrong, of course. But you know what I mean? Like if taking it off and cleansing yourself every day when you have a shower is important to you, then and why not have that and be
Speaker: part of the deal. you know, I think I would, ah i would imagine that people that don't understand chastity are probably wondering, you know, this sounds like pure to torture, a device wrapped around my precious dick all the time. That's, that's terrible.
Speaker: Well, I would say chastity is something that runs very, very deep. So if you think of a wedding ring as a symbol of commitment, the chastity cage is the same thing.
Speaker: It's just wrapped around a much more sensitive part of you. It becomes like this physical reminder and symbol that you are submissive and that you aren't totally in control. It's discipline, it's devotion, it's training.
Speaker: And, you know, the interesting part is that once men are put into trashy cage, even just being inside that cage, being able to look down and see it,
Speaker: that becomes arousing in itself. You know, they become more and more aroused by that. And they're doing chastity to not be aroused, right? Or to have their arousal controlled.
Speaker: But that right there is the beauty of it. And of course, I mean, I know it's not for everyone, but, you know, I'm not trying to convince you into it if you don't um think it's a neat idea to be in a jazzy cage.
Speaker: I just love to educate and kind of pull back the curtain a little bit because there's some there's so much misconception out there and so much judgment against kinks. So I love to educate when I can.
Speaker: And, you know, I want to talk about more why why men like to wear them because on the surface I think it might sound like pure denial, but to those who wear them, the truth is just so much richer.
Speaker: It's the mental arousal. Again, that just that constant reminder of that surrender. So like every little shift someone makes while they're sitting or every time they may feel the bars pressing back against them, it's just a reminder that they're not in charge anymore. And that alone can just bring excitement all day long.
Speaker: And then there's the physical arousal. So the cage keeps you from getting fully hard. And so that leaves a man right on this sweet, sweet edge of frustration so that every throb is just more noticeable and becomes more sharper.
Speaker: Every single attempt to grow and swell with arousal is just met with resistance. So it turns your body into its own tease and keeps you just wound tight with desire.
Speaker: And then there's the um ah emotional satisfaction. So it becomes like a lifestyle choice and it helps keep someone obedient, focused, devoted, centered, and grounded.
Speaker: And it makes their arousal about someone else instead of themselves. And then there's kind of like the excitement of it. So yes, I mean, there's men that wear chastity cages out in public when they go to work.
Speaker: And um it's this like hidden truth between your legs that... you i being submissive, you know, and only you and perhaps your key holder, which key holder, i don't think I explained that earlier, is, you know, if people do chassis in person, the woman or a man will wear the key or i just simply possess the key to that person's chassis cage.
Speaker: And wearing the key as a necklace becomes, you know, arousing in itself because there is that physical reminder of who's in charge. Their key to their cock is worn around someone's neck. You know, that becomes very arousing.
Speaker: But... You know, back to that hidden thing that just becomes a thrill, right? Wearing a chassis cage, let's say at work and you're in charge of some meeting, maybe you're a boss, but Down in your pants, you are wearing a cage and nobody knows. So it becomes, you know, this fun secret in a way.
Speaker: So now you know that Mocktober... isn't just a silly little online challenge. For some people, it's a ritual, ah tradition a devotion.
Speaker: It's about men choosing to surrender control 31 days bound so tightly to their key holder or even to just the fantasy of having ah key holder.
Speaker: And chastity wear is really about how much more deeply someone can feel when that choice is taken away, that freedom is taken away, because every little throb,
Speaker: even someone's thoughts become a reminder of what they're truly craving in their submissive core. So I hope this was helpful and shining a little bit of light onto what Locktober, why men lock themselves up in cages,
Speaker: and gives you a little bit more understanding about the form of chastity. So i would love to know and the comments if you are participating in Locktober this year.
Speaker: um if you're curious, i am not doing any kind of community events this year. i just have too much going on, unfortunately, to do it this year.
Speaker: But if you are participating in something, let me know in the comments. If you think Locktober sounds appealing, let me know. if you don't think it sounds appealing, feel free to let me know as well. Because again, it's not for everyone.
