Dosby Lee-Steere: G'day.
Dosby Lee-Steere: And welcome to the pod... pod brought to you by marera's magic it's your boy dossie here One -time top 10 round finisher in AFL Fantasy Classic 2026.
Dosby Lee-Steere: He's back. Holmesy over to you though. I can't do this hosting anymore, but I'm back.
Holmesy: I knew all it was going to take was just one. career -high round rank in AFL Fantasy. career high overall rank and you'd want your Podcast back.
Holmesy: I knew it. It is taking this long.
Dosby Lee-Steere: It's... It needed to happen, Holmesy. A huge round score. We'll get to that soon. I'm sick of this Dossie pick of the week. We'll probably finish that tonight. That's done for. That's over. It's a new era. It's a new Dossie, and he's back, boys. He's back. Well, I'm glad to be back. Good to see your faces again. You've been doing a great job on the show in my absence, but you needed me back.
Dosby Lee-Steere: I'm too good at this game. I couldn't be retired forever. I'm back.
Holmesy: It is.
Dosby Lee-Steere: For one episode.
Holmesy: It is good to have you back. and We do have our two -time top 10 finisher, John Harmy, and I'll let you know, Harmy, so... No word of a lie. When Dossie put in our old group chat, the crop of his round rank.
Holmesy: It would have been less than 10 minutes before he slides into my DMs trying to get back on the podcast. Not even kidding.
Jon Harmey: Well, and understandably, credit where credit's due. Host homesy, I mean. Got the man's on fire, Buzz Dossier, so not glad to have him on board.
Holmesy: Jordy's just upset because he's done all the hard work to get to the top of the pod. taking over it was going to be his show and He's been outone outshone, outshined, whatever that word is, by Dossie. Geordie.
JORDAN DSENA: Nah, it's good that it's good to have Dossie on, good to see him. I haven't seen him for a while actually I think it might have been gathering around Dossie, so
Dosby Lee-Steere: In a while.
JORDAN DSENA: Good to see you. I hope your super coach is going all right. I'm struggling in that. So focusing on fantasy now.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Flying everywhere, don't you worry about that, Geordie.
Holmesy: It's just a... just a high lux on offer over there jordy it's no tundra so he's he's come back to the superior game And Louie Knight. Not feeling the best there in the background, but good to have you. and it's It's nice to hear that when you're sick your voice doesn't completely change like Harmie's did a few months ago.
Holmesy: that Yeah, how you going, mate?
Lew: Yeah, good to be here um Yeah, we obviously tried to record yesterday. I was hoping I'd be a little bit healthier today. but um Alas, I'm definitely not. i've I've probably gotten worse. but um it is great to be here with the dos man i think the last time that i bumped into dos we were both about
Lew: 20 beers deep at the Adelaide Casino and we barely recognized each other. I think it might have been about two in the morning, but um it was, yeah, it's great to be here and um yeah, hopefully I can get through this show. i'll ah I'll probably keep my mic muted for the most of it, just to spare the listeners of. um You know, some pretty disgusting coughs. and sniffles but um It's great to be here.
Holmesy: Louis.
Dosby Lee-Steere: and the
Holmesy: Let's hang on, Dusty. Let's put that. Gather round trip into perspective. There's no way that you were only 20 beers deep by 2 a .m at the casino that was by two o 'clock every day for you in the afternoon.
Lew: All right. Yeah, probably. yeah i'll I'll put my hand up for that. Doss is a little bit more disciplined. than what i am but um Yeah, mate, might have been 40 beers between us and I might have been most of those.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Louis would have been on the Reds by that time. But I hear you're also a bit of a trendsetter, Louis, because I'm sure the major topic of this show is a certain injury.
Lew: ah
Dosby Lee-Steere: And I hear you're a man that's also done a hamstring recently too.
Lew: Yeah, yep, yep. There was a couple of goats that did their hamstring on the weekend and unfortunately I was one of them, did the left hammy, um coming back from a calf as well. so Um, Yeah, certainly feeling the effects of getting old on that.
Lew: Yeah, i've I've been a bit disheveled this year and um unfortunately the body's not holding up. so ah Yeah, the old the old ruck is not too good on me these days.
Holmesy: Talk us through it, mate. What's it going to look like on the weekend when you're being named to play finals? Do you go out there in your joggers? Do you have to sit at full forward? What does it actually look like?
Lew: Uh... We'll see. We'll see. Yep. we might We won't get into that, Holmesy.
Jon Harmey: Just resting here, mate. Getting ready to dominate the finals campaign.
Lew: as as we as we go yeah As we go into finals, we just want to discuss that sort of material, mate.
Jon Harmey: m
Lew: So, yeah, keep it between us.
Holmesy: One out in the cage. No one listens mate. they They've all dropped off at this time of year. All right, let's quickly review our rounds from the previous week. How me mate?
Holmesy: Let's kick it off.
Jon Harmey: Alright. All right, well I... Didn't want to spoil the surprise, but for me... um host homesy I put up a pretty decent score it was Two.
Jon Harmey: Um, Two five zero seven for the route. So I was pretty happy with that. That put me seventh overall for the week. ah Oh, hold on. Just got that wrong in the... Run sheet ah two. 119, so a little bit. Further back.
Jon Harmey: Uh... And that puts my rank in the Dossie ranks of 22 ,000. Which... I've been holding. It's been, it's holding for a few weeks. So yeah, probably. It's not going to be ah a PB this season.
Holmesy: You let Dossie beat you by almost 400 points. is that what is Is that what we're saying?
Jon Harmey: for this round. for this round.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Just a percentage boost these days.
Jon Harmey: we I don't spoil it. RMC, we haven't gone too easy yet.
Holmesy: Fair enough. Give us your Stato and your Dossie pics.
Jon Harmey: Ah. I don't know.
Holmesy: If we've got time for the Dossie picks, that is.
Jon Harmey: Look. Let's just go Dossie pick. I'm not sure which one this is these days. um for To Christian Petrarca, 39. Amazing stuff. Honestly, you you couldn't try any harder to get a lower score. It's like...
Jon Harmey: Amen. Anyway, I'll leave that one. And then my state I pick of the week, I'll give it to... um Murphy Reid, 42. That was another highlight for me.
Jon Harmey: So I'm not sure which one's the top and which one's the bottom for me.
JORDAN DSENA: Easy out this week.
Jon Harmey: but
JORDAN DSENA: I think homie
Jon Harmey: Yep. Yay! Well, just add to the list.
Holmesy: Yeah.
Lew: He's out with a um ah knock to the nads as well, so that must have been something brutal in the first quarter if you still saw. ah going into this week.
Jon Harmey: He was getting tagged.
Lew: I actually feel bad for the man at this point.
Jon Harmey: he got He got tagged. He had a run with two. So he's just had a rough day, hasn't he?
Holmesy: I wouldn't feel too bad for him, Louis, 19 -year -old kid. word on the street is just bought a 1 .2 million dollar property in east romano i think he's think he's doing all right but all Alright. Louis, you're next.
Lew: Plenty of swimmers, you reckon, Holmesy, by the sounds of things. um I scored a 21.
Holmesy: Plenty of swimmers.
Lew: 92, which is a little bit disappointing. ah Slide back about 100 ranks. down to 12 ,139. I'm hoping to get into that top.
Lew: 10 ,000. Might have to have a couple of... ah A couple of good weeks. Might have to have a dossy week, which um in any other week would probably mean something a little bit miserable. but Um,
Lew: Standard pick of the week. I've got to give it to Errol Goulden with the 135. ah He's one that I was extremely passionate about a couple of weeks ago.
Lew: ah Definitely my boy.
Holmesy: Boy, were ye.
Lew: Uh... He has been my boy for a long time, in fact. um O Errol by Australian Corral has been my top song. on Spotify for the last three years running.
Lew: Um... You know, hence is how much of a fan I am of this man. So the 135 with the captaincy was great to see. ah I genuinely... stand by my call that he's going to be the top averaging player to finish the year as of two weeks ago. um And my Dossie pick of the week, it's it's going to go to a man who I really shouldn't have in my team.
Lew: And it's probably more of an indictment on my own side, but... Tell a broon. With the 60.
Jon Harmey: oh
Lew: uh probably one that uh i've tried to try it out for the last 12 weeks or so but Um... Did just hang on to in the last two weeks with a nice little run, but the 60 is not what we wanted to see, and um I think this week will probably be the week that...
Lew: um I'll see the end of him.
Holmesy: You got that ton from him on field a couple of weeks though weeks ago, though, didn't you, Louis?
Lew: No, no, no, no. D8. Day 10, actually. He was in day 10. I didn't get that one.
Holmesy: Yeah. I mean, Jai Clark's getting all the ball down there, isn't he? Far out. Jordy, you're on to that one. pretty early. I'm next, Louis. Not much better than you. 2207. I'm not sure whether that was just because I had better coverage for Naz or not. being able to get Fitzgerald.
Holmesy: Handy enough but still a pretty horrendous week for me. Slid back another. what's that 400 spots to 2583 so yeah Definitely on the slide. Two weeks to go, hopefully we can finish nice and strong.
Holmesy: State of pick of the week, I was going to go to Errol. for the captaincy, but I'm just going to give a special shout out to Chad Warner. Hey. Jordy, if you remember back, I actually wanted to trade him. around the buys.
Holmesy: And since that point...
JORDAN DSENA: I remember.
Holmesy: He's gone at 106. So he's been an unreal pick.
JORDAN DSENA: You had a forced trade.
Holmesy: Definitely. Yeah.
JORDAN DSENA: And you had to hold him and...
Holmesy: Yeah.
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah.
Holmesy: Bit of Darcy Cameron in that, hey? Geordie?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah. Yep. Definitely.
Holmesy: Definitely helped with um obviously Justin McInerney going down and and getting more of a prominent role in the midfield. But yeah, he's been unreal. and I think, yeah, top six forwards finish the year probably unless Sydney start resting their players like they have been in the in the final quarter. But, yeah, he's been getting it done.
Holmesy: My Dossie pick of the week. I'm doubling down, homie. Still Christian Petrarca. I traded him out. But it's still because of how shit he's been over the last two months was worth nothing, which meant I was forced into getting.
Holmesy: taking a punt on someone which was a grind Myers 33. So imagine trading in a 33 and still only losing six points. Can't. Hate. Christian Petrarca's role and the way he's playing at the moment more.
Holmesy: Geordie, normally you'd be top of the pod, mate, but we're going to you a bit earlier this week. How'd you go?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, that's right, you got the - 23 .30, which put me up about 500 spots, so into 2060. So the goal was, yeah, a couple weeks ago, if I can get that top 2K. uh range i'll be pretty happy so we'll see how we go i've got two weeks to go here so Going okay. um And the Stato pick for me has to go to Josh Dacos.
JORDAN DSENA: We thought he was going to get that Murdoch tag. I was a bit worried about him, to be honest. um And Murdoch didn't seem to go to him at all. And I think he started up. on the up high on the ground and then Just seemed to get all that ball back there pretty much with those injuries and a 124.
JORDAN DSENA: is massive I did not expect that so he definitely gets the Stato pick for me And the Dossie pick goes to his teammate. So Dan Houston. this guy man like Jeremy Howe's out.
JORDAN DSENA: Pendlebury's out, who goes back there. Perryman's out. Josh Dagles is maybe getting a tag. It's Houston's Bowl. And he gets a 66. He has not changed his role whatsoever.
JORDAN DSENA: He is completely, he's Got on for me this week. I'm going to get to whoever the best I can get. so I have to trade him. Holmesy, I know, Matt, you've still got him, I think. But um he's he's out for me. Dossie peak of the week.
Holmesy: Madam. I've wanted him gone for weeks. I haven't been able to swing it with all the forced trades. Get a little bit of hope with those players out, but yeah. no good his role is just not hunting the footy at the moment so he has to go all Alright fellas. Here we go. We've been waiting five years for this moment.
Holmesy: The floor is yours, Dosby.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Ooh, Dossie with a 25. Thank you for the preview before, Harmie. A 25 .07. Seventh overall for the round. And just checking you guys' ranks here, I've skyrocketed.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Above? Louis, this week, I've gone up 7 ,000 spots in a week. And I'm into 10. 0 .7k rank so Old Dossie flying up the ranks there.
Dosby Lee-Steere: um yeah just i mean obviously everything went right for me this week so It was a big week. um Do we want my... dossie pick of the week first um louie actually wins the award for dossie pick because 10 of Bruin.
Dosby Lee-Steere: I actually didn't start with him, didn't have him all year and brought him in a couple of weeks ago. So here's the Dossie pick. For me and Louis, well done for backing that one in as well. So the 60 was no good there. um My other Dossie pick of the week. now it would be petrarca basically every single week lately but I rolled with Durham off the bench trying to loop him in.
Dosby Lee-Steere: So I didn't have to field Petrarca. And he dropped a stinker 51 without bloody any midfield time at all on the weekend. So that was a ah real blow there. And I didn't field. I have. jai clark and i didn't even put the e on him anywhere so
Dosby Lee-Steere: ah That was brutal. And then my... Stato pick of the week, which I'd like to see if we could reverse those around now, given my newfound fame in the fantasy world. Matty Rau, 182. Come on. board thank you very much i also had ldu 139 so two pods there Getting the absolute job. but done for me and finally just iza rank and shout out because he got 138 in fantasy
Dosby Lee-Steere: But I had the VC and him on him over on Supercoach and he had 220. three super coach points so we explained how that all happened over on the super coach official podcast how it was such a different score but um Yeah, shout out.
Dosby Lee-Steere: 223 Supercoach points. Unreal.
Jon Harmey: We'll have to have a listen back to that, guys, to how it was made up. like Because it's fictional, right? Isn't it? They just make it up. So, I mean... that I thought I had more time.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Oh, homie Oh, he's going to get me banned over here. No. It is not made up. We explain it on the podcast, but yeah, it's...
Jon Harmey: All right. Thanks, Darth.
Dosby Lee-Steere: It was a close game, lots of contested pill, lots of efficiency going on there, and all his teammates sucked, so it all helped him.
Lew: It's interpretive.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Go massive.
Holmesy: Harmie, it was the weekend where it was a crescent moon. And the scaling was. favored more towards the players that uh had the initials ir which meant he just went
Dosby Lee-Steere: oh
Holmesy: Bye.
Jon Harmey: Now... Um, Buzz, I'd actually be interested to see what Christian Petrarca scored in the... uh murder ball uh this week if you can check that for me see if it's any better than 38 or every kind of fantasy
Dosby Lee-Steere: Oh, my. marginally.
Jon Harmey: Oh.
Dosby Lee-Steere: I think it was a 40. What did he get? Yeah, 46.
Jon Harmey: Far out.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah, very good.
Jon Harmey: Cool. What a fall from grace that is, right?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Shocking.
Holmesy: All right, quick update on the Pod Pod Challenge. Powerhouse still leading the overall comp. which is awesome. hopefully take out that tundra. We have Nicholas's team, SSC Blitzkrieg in four and then B -Dub in 10. So three coaches inside the top 10.
Holmesy: We have 19 coaches in the top 100. And then special shout out to Holmesy's Burners, rank 91. Come on, son.
Dosby Lee-Steere: ah
Holmesy: Hold on. Hold on to that hat. Do it. Do it for the boys. um And yeah, winner of the pod pod challenge. As always, we'll receive a custom AFL fantasy ring from our friends over at supercoachchampion .com.
Holmesy: And Dossie, you want to do a bit of networking here and try and... so to promote the the superior game over there, don't you?
Dosby Lee-Steere: I do, and I won't speak about it. that like I'm here to talk with you guys. My old platform, the old fantasy. I won't harp on too much of about Supercoach.
Lew: Okay, moving on then.
Dosby Lee-Steere: But quickly, Supercoach Finals. Oh, look at that. Geordie's showing a screenshot of his team right now. So Supercoach Finals, is it's coming back for the second year. We brought it back last year.
Dosby Lee-Steere: So it's for just during the finals series. you You start your team fresh, so it's completely fresh. You start it over with only teams in the finals, and it starts from the wildcard round. And you basically get unlimited trades for every week. There's nine players on field. You don't have to mess around too much with your team. Eight players count, so one drops off. And then you get your captain, which is worth triple points, and your vice captain, which is double. So it's just a short -form game across the final series if you want to keep playing.
Dosby Lee-Steere: um your fantasy sports and give Supercoach a go and see how you go. I've gone ahead and made a league for the pod pod challenge without you guys' permission. So jumping in there, the code is 890. Three. zero one If you want to give it a go and the major prize, not in the pod pod challenge, but the major prize overall for super coach finals is a Toyota Hilux. So five weeks work.
Dosby Lee-Steere: If you know your fantasy, you're good enough to know your super coach as well. It's pretty similar games and you could walk away. with a Hilux after just the the five weeks of finals. So it's absolutely nuts. I can't believe it. It's a massive prize. So give it a go. But my name, my team name is Hilux Dossie. So good luck.
Jon Harmey: That's just... Clarifying are you eligible to win? that highlights.
Dosby Lee-Steere: No.
Jon Harmey: ah
Dosby Lee-Steere: I am personally not because I work there, but everyone, you guys. You guys would be, I'm sure, so long as you don't make... Multiple teams, you're all good to go, I'd imagine. T's and C's, of course, Harmie, but um jump on in and look.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Just for you guys, my old boys. They're all pod pod. i'll ah I'll throw in some merch for the... Just some merch I got lying around for the the overall winner of the Pod Pod Challenge. My old boys, my old pod.
Dosby Lee-Steere: eight nine zero three zero one just make a team on super coach jump in finals that's it That's all. Let's talk fantasy.
Holmesy: your old your old pod mate you still make me put your instagram bio down in the show description you messaged me when i took it out mate don't
Dosby Lee-Steere: like Okay. look you gotta keep it you know you gotta to let the let the fans remember me the legacy
JORDAN DSENA: <unk>
Jon Harmey: Legacy.
Holmesy: o
Holmesy: legacy I think our photo on Twitter is still Paddy Dow and Sam Walsh from back in the day. so Never, never forget, Dozzy. All right.
Jon Harmey: Paddy Dow's still in the least.
Holmesy: Let's get it.
Jon Harmey: How's he going?
Holmesy: Well, if he doesn't play this week with all their injuries, I think he's pretty much done
Dosby Lee-Steere: Well, thank you. Yeah, he might get in. Naz strike swap.
Holmesy: that's That's fair.
JORDAN DSENA: I think McRae might come in.
Holmesy: All right, Geordie. Hot topics. Why don't you run us through some of the injuries this week?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, so it just seems one of those weeks we maybe thought we... Could have got a clean slate, but that last game, obviously, Nassai Wanganimalera was the biggest one. So that hamstring.
JORDAN DSENA: Pretty much everybody. Well, I would assume a lot of teams own him. You you obviously got that TOG rule coming in as well, which... Some people had him in the midfield defense, so that obviously changed a lot of things at the end. But, yeah, he's's it's a moderate grade, Hammy.
JORDAN DSENA: He's a definite trade, and I guess it is that. like A lot of these defenders have gone down. so I guess we'll get into options later on on who do you go to. But if you've got him in the midfield or DPP...
JORDAN DSENA: i think you know if you can get a midfielder for him it's probably ideal The other one was Jason Horne -Francis. So watching that game, it looked pretty bad. um But it was.
JORDAN DSENA: The scans have come back and I think he's a test. to play this week so We'll see what happens over the next few days. So you might be able to hold him. But I think you probably wouldn't want to trade into him now.
JORDAN DSENA: Just give maybe give it a week, I would have thought. The other one, Tim English, MCL out for the season, which is unfortunate for him. Don't think he was too highly owned, but he was one we were we were watching. But he might be an option next year.
JORDAN DSENA: The next one, Holmesy. Dane Zorko Was it having awareness or was it just cramp?
Holmesy: Well. He wouldn't have played through honey awareness, right? Not with the final series coming up, but... I don't know if you watched it It was a hard watch. um after that he wasn't moving terribly well but they still just use him because he's so good I'm still happy to take the punt. Louis, you brought him in as well, didn't you?
Lew: Dines okay?
Holmesy: Yeah.
Lew: No. No, I, um... No, I didn't bring in Dane Zorko, thankfully enough.
JORDAN DSENA: I think he was doing it this week.
Holmesy: It's a fun ride. it's a fun ride
Jon Harmey: He's trained. They said he trained.
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, I think
Jon Harmey: Already, yeah.
JORDAN DSENA: The news says he's going to be fine to play, but um I guess we can think about whether he's, you know, you want to take that. risk He's actually the most traded in. 8 ,000 coaches are going there, but he's cheap. So you might have.
JORDAN DSENA: to injuries.
Lew: I did bring in Brad Hill, which felt great at about halftime after he had done a knee. um Thankfully, he did come back though. so Might be eyeing off. Dane Zorko this week as we move into finals.
JORDAN DSENA: Yep. yep
Holmesy: Yeah.
JORDAN DSENA: See ya.
Holmesy: I think he's a good option.
JORDAN DSENA: Yep. yeahp So, yeah, it looks like Brady was fine. That was a bit scary at the end there. you might have had I thinking with the tog, you might have had two defenders go down. Your man, Graeme Myers, Holmesy. A knee issue, but apparently there was a tweet today that I think he'll be... playing so whether you you stick fat with him or you can loop him or something The other news that's come out, Wilkie had a bit of a caught calf. So yeah I think he scored like 40 or something like that. but You probably have to hold him now, and I think he's not in any doubt this week.
JORDAN DSENA: The other one is for the Saints is TDK. Bit of a shoulder issue. They've come out as a test. And... Yeah, it was just a bit weird. Like, he he obviously copped a bit of a... um a hit as well and he just didn't look great So it'll be interesting to see what they do with him. and Personally, watching Bond on the weekend, I just thought he looked... His left foot looked very sore.
JORDAN DSENA: I feel like... you know he's been carrying this foot for a while And I'm not sure you'd you'd want to trade into that. but that's just a bit of an update
Holmesy: N 'hah me, ya boy. Murphy Reed. Doesn't sound like he's going to get up. Um, Kind of mentioned it off the top, bit of a groin concern off the six -day break in the travel. um what do What do you look to do?
Holmesy: i mean where we've been in similar boats for the last eight weeks with multiple forced trades but what what do you look to do when you've got nas Anna Murphy -Reed, for example, do you look to try and...
Jon Harmey: Easy. Nah mate. Just means I get to hold track another week. and And... I think we would all agree he's due. for a big score. so Expecto 7. Thousand, uh...
Jon Harmey: Rank rise, Dossie style this week from me.
Lew: I just wanted to shout out this little trade worm. um from the start of the year too so i ah started with connor rosey and i was extremely confident in that pick obviously um did his hamstring tendon so i tried it into zorko Got injured. Tried into Sinclair.
Lew: Got injured. Traded into Nassau, Wanganee, Millera. Got injured, traded into Holmes, got injured, traded into... Lockie Whitfield got injured. Intern Nassir Wanganin -Millera got injured.
Lew: um And I've... Landed on Brad Hill, who on the weekend, up until halftime. Sounded like he was injured. so um I tell you what, I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat.
Lew: That defensive... uh position in terms of a premium has been an Absolute. landmine. All season.
Jon Harmey: Who are you planning on bringing in for NAS, Lou?
Lew: Uh...
Holmesy: Yeah, we need an eye.
Lew: Oh. Oh actually.
JORDAN DSENA: I think it was Zorgo.
Lew: i've I've got Lockie Whitfield, but... Due to the tag or the potential tag of... um ah Murdoch, I think I might bring in Dane Zorko. So that hamstring may just have some awareness on the weekend.
Jon Harmey: Yeah. Avoid that then.
Holmesy: Yeah. All right. So, Jaime, what I was going to ask is, and ah so a lot of coaches have been in a similar boat. We keep getting ourselves in these holes where... we've got to trade two guys out. So if you go NAS to a premium, then you know you're looking in pretty dirty areas for...
Holmesy: I'm Murphy Reed. Brian Myers, Durham type. ah you trying to Are you trying to go in the middle of both those picks or maybe try and get two guys that are 900 ,000 each versus...
Holmesy: you know a gun premium that's over a mil and then taking a punt on someone that's you know 800k Or less?
Jon Harmey: Yeah, look this week because I've got a because I'm looking in the defense and the forward line I'm probably just looking at hedging my bets. a little bit and just shaving a bit off nas and spending that in my forward line i think i had 100 grand in the bank but it that's also because nas is um worth so much it makes it a bit easier so i'm looking at two
Jon Harmey: fairly fairly well -priced players but not the top of the line but it's a good point because last week I was shopping in the midfield and I did go top of the line and a value pick. So last week I traded out to Gowie and Grundy.
Jon Harmey: kind of so i There's a bit of money there. but But I really wanted Bailey Smith because I didn't have him and Geelong's got a good run. So I brought in... Bears at the top. And I brought in a bargain.
Jon Harmey: type player in Bergman. from port so um it worked out fairly well i don't know what They go to bat. What's that? Anyway, they averaged about 110, 120 between them.
Holmesy: Beautiful. Thanks for that insight, Harmie. Now, what the listeners really want to hear, Dosby, Lastia, what are you doing with NAS this week?
Dosby Lee-Steere: yes well in in form over here but um i'm going as you could imagine a little bit different um I think, but I have checked. You've got the most traded in a bit further down and I think he is. in the mix here but I'm going Port Adelaide ah inside mid. gun.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Jace Burgoyne. this week obviously not just chasing scores he's got the 140 on the weekend it is a bit score chasey vibes but it's a complete role change the last month he's just moved into playing as an inside mid and if you peep his last matchup of the season. It's the one that we've all been looking at for Port. It's that Essendon matchup. So Melbourne this week. um I don't know what they're like for midfielders, but...
Dosby Lee-Steere: there's no one there especially if the horny one misses this week it's it's just jace burgoyne in there getting all the pill he's getting the contested stuff and he's also getting i think he had 15 contested on the weekend along with seven uncontested marks so for me Jace Burgoyne is the nice little point of difference because I've been rolling with a few this year as I always do, boys.
Holmesy: Yep, that. That's fair enough. Geordie, you've... um you've done a bit of work here on the tags i mean for For any coaches that don't have Bailey Smith, we... we probably lock so We do want him for round 24 unless there's a rest there. But are we are we worried about a tag this week against North Melbourne? Simpkin did a pretty significant job on him earlier in the year.
Holmesy: and North have been running tags all year. So if if you don't own him... Yeah. You're not trading in this week or do you look to loop?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, I probably won't loop him, but yeah, I guess it is one that you need to look at because you've got 71. against them early in the year but i think They're tagging on the weekend. I don't think, like, Foss is obviously another guy that tags, and I don't think they really did that on the weekend. and north obviously one as well so I'm not sure it's as tight as it was. Obviously, Simpkin is in there as well, but Wardlaw came back. so i don't know i think if you haven't like a golden or someone else i'd probably prioritize them higher
JORDAN DSENA: But I think, yeah, as you said, we still kind of want Baz for that last game. so I think. you know As you were saying with injuries and stuff, I think I'm still happy. to grab you and buy. I'm not.
JORDAN DSENA: overreacting and looping or anything like that. I'm not going to VC.
Holmesy: Fair enough. There are some other sort of tags that have been floating around Dosby, I think you're going to crash to earth this week when...
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yep.
Holmesy: O'Sheen Mullen goes to LDU. Um,
Dosby Lee-Steere: He did he go to Sheazel last time though, didn't he?
Holmesy: McKenna.
Dosby Lee-Steere: So I'm just hoping. Hoping that happens again.
Holmesy: Oh, he just had one of those games, didn't he though? Bye.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah, nah, you're probably right.
JORDAN DSENA: This went nuts.
Holmesy: Yeah.
Holmesy: didn't he hang on Didn't he go to Shizu in the first quarter and then LDU got off the chain and then he tagged him?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah, you might be right. Look, I think LDU's cooked.
Holmesy: for the rest.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Probably Rau gets Dunkley and... Yeah, poor old Dospy Lestier plummets back to 17k, but look, let's give him a chance, would you, Holmesy?
Holmesy: I'd be worried about the... Connor McKenna role on Noble if Noble's back in defence, although I think he... I didn't watch the game. ah but People were saying that he played a little bit more wing. Um,
Holmesy: You know, yeah, Murdoch to Whitfield potentially. hang on, Murdoch to Whitfield, GWS playing Eagles this week. I mean, look.
JORDAN DSENA: Yep. Yep.
Holmesy: Although Murdoch hasn't been tagging as much. do we think anyone does james jordan go to Zach Merritt this week, Jordy, because Merritt's pretty cheap.
JORDAN DSENA: I think so last week. So they're using Dries Sorong as well. We'll actually use him more on Horn Francis on the weekend. And Jordan just sort of did like the the resting tag and he played sort of out on the wing. so I think Sorong.
JORDAN DSENA: and I just wonder with Sydney, so they're playing at the MCG, are they just going to stick to their pro? I feel like they're a team that will stick to their process of like... Playing at the G. Let's stick to you know, the structure, let's tag and let's go to merit. So...
JORDAN DSENA: I would kind of be worried. I don't think I would. probably trade into merit, but. We saw last week, like everyone was trading out of him and he got a 95 against Mullen. is probably not a like you probably don't need to overreact and trade him but i just don't know if i'll be grabbing him
Holmesy: Two games to go. At the Bombers. Yeah, I don't know. Does he want to go out on a high? or Yeah, not sure there. Um... I mean, we can kind of look at some runs to to finish off here if we're looking for defenders.
Holmesy: to replace Nas. so melbourne have port dogs really good there Do we think Jake Bauer is still an option, Jordy? I've been... I've been on it for the last couple of weeks, Biddy. I think you had a downer. maybe two weeks ago, but outside of that, he's been pretty consistent.
Holmesy: is he Is he the type of pick this year, we are this at this time of year, are we going to see a ceiling?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, um I'm worried about the ceiling. I think he's pretty solid. You know, like he you look at his scores, 80 to 105. He's got great matchups. I feel like he sits in between there. Does he have the ceiling to go 105 plus? i just I don't know. I i don't know whether. like You see these teams, they chip it around the back.
JORDAN DSENA: We've seen Salem move forward. that they're not They don't really have anyone else. I guess Trent Rivers is back there, but you kind of need... almost someone else. you know chipping it to you and i don't think they so they switch it that much so i think if depending on how much money you've got he's a pretty solid option i'm just not sure about the ceiling
Holmesy: Yeah, it's this time of year you really want, and it's hard to sort of talk about, but you really want players in teams that are still really hunting something. And you put it in here, Geordie, but I'll go to Dossie.
Holmesy: I find it really hard to actually trade into Sydney players at the moment because of all the resting that's happening. So like I went into Isaac Heaney around the buys and I got a few good scores out of him.
Holmesy: in that final quarter when they're up. they just They just sit him on the pine or he goes forward. you know, Chad's going to rest at times and have games where he has 60. 70 time on ground grundy we've already seen be managed completely like what is his game time look like leading into finals? Errol, you think is going to keep... I'm going because he needs to to really peak coming into finals. but Are you worried about these Sydney players in the on the run home?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Depends which ones, probably. Like you said, I think those older guys are more at risk. Like a Heaney, I know he's not super old, but you know into his close to his or into his 30s, like a Grundy, like you mentioned. um But. The two that I like i banked on.
Dosby Lee-Steere: going big this week. and hopefully next week as well was like i brought in errol and warner just for this sort of run coming up so i kind of still think they're going to kill it like those kind of guys. But I wouldn't be too concerned. Like the beatdown could be that. that much that yes they might get a rest in the last quarter but by that point they might already be on 105 110 so um I get what you're saying, and it isn't just about one week, but for those sort of tantalizing matchups.
Dosby Lee-Steere: I think maybe next week's more of a concern. Yeah, well, I mean, ah you are you super worried about it, Holmesy, as being like... Don't trade in these guys.
Holmesy: No. Haney's the one. that I'm really worried about because, as I said, I've had him for a while. And I just don't see the ceiling being there because... They don't need him in these in these games.
Jon Harmey: move
Holmesy: They want to make sure he's good to go for finals. so
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yep.
Holmesy: um Yeah, Errol's the one. um Got him two weeks ago. And a lot of other coaches got him earlier than that. He's he's the one that's still going to have, you know, his 35, 40 touches.
Holmesy: even when the other guys are sitting off. So I think Errol's primed. and has sealing written all over against Essendon this week. Yeah. It's hard.
Holmesy: It's hard.
Dosby Lee-Steere: it's very much like you said it's it's really it's really player dependent rather than those teams i think the young guys the guys that have the thirst for the pill that want to be on to the end of games those sort of guys are going to be fine but it's those guys that are prone to arrest or they want to protect that other ones you got to look out for like you said so
Holmesy: that's
Dosby Lee-Steere: I mean, it's going to be hard to say which one which ones, but I think we can have a decent idea based on you know our history with them.
Holmesy: Yeah, I mean, there's examples and in lots of good teams, right? ah Jordan Dawson's... a ah prime example when the game's done, he sits forward or or rests.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah.
Holmesy: um Yeah, there's lots of guys like that. So they're the ones we typically want to avoid at this time of year. Someone like a Matt Rau, you can... Clearly tell after the weekend, but he's put up some some pretty big scores over the last month. He's just hungry to finish the year off strong.
Holmesy: um to to get some credibility at Gold Coast. Louie?
Lew: Hey, I did see that the All Australian squad is going to be announced a week. from the season being finished. um So I do wonder, just for, you know, obviously footballers. young damon um full of ego.
Lew: that if they're named within that 44 squad, whether or not we see some of those boys make a really, really, really late play where they... They give it their all in that last sort of round. I just wonder if some of those trade -ins in our last week can come.
Lew: from that squad. Um, that maybe are right on the precipice of coming in and actually have something to play for, even for those boys that aren't necessarily going to play finals.
Jon Harmey: Got any smokies Louie? Who are we gonna be watching?
Lew: ah Not off the top of my head, mate. um Definitely. Got a bit of a cold head at the moment, for sure. so
JORDAN DSENA: Murphy, ready?
Lew: Not seeing them as well as I could, but... um No, not Murphy.
Holmesy: Murphy, right?
Lew: Murphy Reid's just a silly choice, in my opinion. but Uh, He'd giving it to Horne Francis every day of the week before Murphy Reed, surely.
JORDAN DSENA: Good.
Holmesy: Different positions mate.
Lew: No they're not. Half forward that's a midfielders position. I don't know what you're on about
Holmesy: I think you'll find they're different positions. Bye. Maybe go ass up that hammy, mate. Yeah.
Lew: No, not in the all Australian team. No, that's a midfielder's position.
Jon Harmey: Mm hmm. Yep.
Holmesy: Yeah. Fair enough. Um... I mean... Defenders, they're just they're just tricky. it You want to punt matchups probably, although, you know, the Geelong matchup got me this week. but More often than not, the matchups play play out pretty well. So obviously Brad Hill.
Holmesy: is it is a target. He's very, very expensive, but Richmond into GWS. I'm not sure I'd be touching anyone from Geelong with how they rest players as well, but they've got a pretty good run. The reason I mentioned Sydney is they have a pretty good matchup.
Holmesy: A pretty good run, sorry, for defenders, Essendon and North. You like Callum Mills and Nick Blakey, Geordie?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, I ah So Callum Mills, because he's the captain, I think he is going to get rested. They did that. on the weekends. They pretty much want to take the captain off because... One, he has had a lot of injury. history.
JORDAN DSENA: And they love his leadership. So I think he's... With Haney. He's probably going to come off. So I like basically a guy that's cheaper than me, and then that's the lizard, bla Nick Blakey. Watching him on the weekend, he just sort of roamed around.
JORDAN DSENA: um all day. And I don't think he's going to come off. So I think this weekend. um He's a good pick. And for me, like... I'm getting rid of Houston. I can get to a Nick Blakey. So it's kind of the best one I can get to. and i'm I think I'm just going to take a pun on it.
JORDAN DSENA: You got him.
Holmesy: More of a super coach player. Tozbe! Oh, Blakey?
Dosby Lee-Steere: No. not i mean yes and no like he had he's been affected he's been a guy that has been kind of affected by the tag he's been kind of up and down um And also this year has been a bit of a weird one for Sydney. So he hasn't he hasn't been as on the radar, I don't think, as he was last year. He had a super hot patch.
Dosby Lee-Steere: in Supes where he went nuts. But yeah, I haven't kind of seen the same level of ceiling, but still he's also won. that we're all kind of looking at, I think, in in both formats for those last two matchups because like Geordie was saying, I think others around him will get...
Dosby Lee-Steere: potentially rested before him but to that point though i wouldn't i wouldn't be so yeah i'm less worried about about the rest than you guys apart from like those uber uber uber premiums that we're getting like i don't know i'd be more scared like a max gon or something cops a bit of a rest or like a heeny and stuff. So, I mean, I'm not targeting, yeah, Callum Mills or anything at this time of the year either. so
Jon Harmey: Yeah, look I think the the Sydney example is probably a good one. Um... Fremantle, potentially Hawthorn. But yeah I don't think you're going to see it from teams that are still in the mix and got to win games.
Jon Harmey: Like you sort of, you're Geelong, Collingwood.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah.
Jon Harmey: Carlton type teams. really going to be flogging themselves to get the most out of what they can from the points and their positioning on the ladder so Yeah, I guess we'll see. but I think, yeah, it's only really that you think Freo and Sidney.
Jon Harmey: just because they're doing so well are probably going to be more likely to do it.
Holmesy: Yeah, well, I mean, the other ones, Hawthorne, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, they're all chasing that top four spot, right? So nothing's locked in. so they They need to go as hard as they possibly can. I can't see Gorn.
Dosby Lee-Steere: All right.
Holmesy: Resting. um
Dosby Lee-Steere: Sorry, Holmesy, that was probably more hopeful given he has a Tim English -less dogs in the last round, so I might have to go bring him in yourself.
Holmesy: Tree. tree
Dosby Lee-Steere: Gee whiz.
Holmesy: Actually, that's a good point. Who do Bulldogs play this week?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Carlton. Yeah. Not really that.
Holmesy: Might have to bring in Pito, my boy.
Dosby Lee-Steere: The pit. Yeah.
JORDAN DSENA: Louis will be happy.
Dosby Lee-Steere: yeah Yeah, that's scary. Nah, good point on the finals chase for sure. yeah there's a few still in the hunt there
Holmesy: Are um a Melbourne playing Hawthorne? This way.
JORDAN DSENA: Now a port.
Holmesy: Pork. Do they play Hawthorne again? No.
JORDAN DSENA: Nuts Spawn dogs.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Port then, dogs, mate.
Holmesy: Yeah. whole thing yeah that was that was No good on the weekend, I ah dare say those. Players had to bring their mouthguards to training on Monday. Old school style. I don't think.
Jon Harmey: Oh yeah. So bad.
Holmesy: I think. Yeah. All right, I think let's just get stuck into the questions to finish off the pod. and I'll go to you, Harmie, for the first one. As Dossie's already said, he's bringing in this player. But first one's from Lauren. Boys, what do we think about Jace Burgoyne moving forward?
Holmesy: Or is it Myles Bergman? And on the other side of the trade is at Heaney or Neal. So I'm going to say straight off, I i don't think he needs to play for... um those reasons i mentioned but if you're picking between burgoyne and Uh...
Holmesy: Bergman, sorry, who's the who's the play?
Jon Harmey: ah Look, I think that they are both good picks for different reasons. I think that they are... ah both going to be in the midfield to finish out the season. They have both been scoring well.
Jon Harmey: um since they hit the midfield. So I think you could go either. from memory is about $200 ,000 difference. um And if you need that money.
Jon Harmey: to improve your second trade. I think you could go Bergman. if it makes a difference to you. If it doesn't make... Any difference to the second trade, I think Burgoyne would be a good pick.
Holmesy: In all games this year, above 50%. or above 40 % center bounces, which is what Burgoyne's playing at the moment. He's averaged 107, so five games. Clearly the 140 bumps that up.
Holmesy: Um, But yeah. If you're hunting a ceiling to finish off the year, I think it is probably... burgoyne but obviously there's a significant cash difference difference there so if the Cash on the other side is needed for a better trade.
Holmesy: Bergman's probably the play butt.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Jody's...
Holmesy: And do we all agree that Neal's the play over? Haney?
Jon Harmey: what
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, I think so
Jon Harmey: I just feel like you could do better, personally, but... i don't know i haven't got any way to look at the top end other than baz who i brought in last week so Which ho they've probably got, but I just feel like...
Jon Harmey: is it Are they really the two best options? I'm not sure.
Holmesy: Well, they probably need to with the cash they've got available. Plays Gold Coast this week, which is a potential ceiling game. And then has has Collingwood in round 24, who he's playing to impress for a contract.
Jon Harmey: Hmm. Audition.
Holmesy: so
Jon Harmey: Hmm.
Holmesy: Contract game. Don't hate it. Dossie, this one is from Brett. Muller, hi fellas, who... should go with Naz this week, Limpy or Murphy Reid? I mean... It's got to be Murphy Reid if he's out.
Holmesy: Far out, though. Impey was not good on the weekend. Are there two defenders worth bringing in for Naz and Impey?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Jeepers. And we've sort of talked about the challenge of who who they are. I think, yeah, like... If you've got the huge amount of money for Brad Hill, I still, I probably, my second trade dictated me not, like I know he's highly owned.
Dosby Lee-Steere: But my second trade dictated that I didn't get. Brad Hill, but if you don't have Brad Hill, I think that's a no -brainer, regardless of the knee. Concerned, given he's got the Richmond matchup, no Naz, no...
Dosby Lee-Steere: No Sinclair, no... My boy Sammy Flanders, no no one back there anymore. So Brad Hill should have an absolute field day, I think, regardless of where he's playing. So he's right up there. Like I said, we really like Jace Burgoyne.
Dosby Lee-Steere: I don't know. Yeah, there's probably those two have been high on my list. Is there anyone else that sort of screams pick me? out of those guys Geordie, and by the way, with Bergman, um you're the port. There's a couple of Port Nuffies in the room. He actually didn't play as much midfield.
Dosby Lee-Steere: on the weekend. I didn't catch a stack of this game. I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape to confirm my Burgoyne pick. But what was ah Bergman's role on the weekend?
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah, I think he started in the midfield and then... and he Got off to a pretty hot start, but yeah. probably in the second half. I mean, that's when the game... you know sydney started to get a run on as well so i think we we put him back to the um defense line and he went back there which is probably the the thing isn't it with him he he's sort of done that Even last year when we had him as a BIC, we got an injury and it switched back. so Um, So yeah, it wasn't as much much time.
JORDAN DSENA: And I think, yeah, Bergwijn seems to be more of a stay in the midfield. there at the moment. But yeah, if Hornets out. that could change things.
Holmesy: Louis, this one's from Gihu. Hey lads, would you rather have Marshall or Impey as your 23rd? Trade -ins are either Sparrow or Bowie slash Burgoyne. Pushing one of those two.
Holmesy: on field so does the TDK news push you more towards Marshall, especially as the 23rd?
Lew: Absolutely. um Yeah, I was just going to say if TDK is not playing footy, then Marshall is absolutely the choice there as the sole ruck. We know that he's a bloke that can go. um he can sustain 120 over multiple multiple weeks so Definitely. um on Marshall there.
Lew: um If TDK is joining him, though, then... um I think... You know, probably Impey is the guy, right, with their fixture to to finish the last two weeks. It's a big reason that I brought him in.
Lew: a couple of weeks ago as well so Just. Keep an eye on the team sheets there, but I think Marsh was an absolute star. and um As we move closer towards that trade period, he's probably one that him and the Saints want him to be putting his hand up to get the absolute maximum out of him.
Holmesy: And just on that second, that second tried. Can we just have some Tom Sparrow, love? place. Sounds today like he might.
Jon Harmey: Oh. Yeah.
Holmesy: might sign long term at Melbourne. um Harmie, what he's done for Melbourne this year has been incredible, really.
Jon Harmey: Oh, he's been awesome. He was actually one of the Lucky pics that I sort of got in it a draft called sort of Meat Pack. And he's just been awesome. I guess he's the sort of guy that's just been in and out of the midfield in previous years. and It's just the opportunity's been there for him and he's just taken it with.
Jon Harmey: both hands in a contract year. so Good on him, I reckon. I mean, he's just tough and I like the way he goes about it. What did you get on the weekend? 1 .30, was it? o it's not a big
JORDAN DSENA: Nah, you only got 94 but he was on track for that
Holmesy: Yeah. yess
Jon Harmey: This must have been a week before.
JORDAN DSENA: He only had the last...
Jon Harmey: Yeah.
Holmesy: He was, I think... 88 early in the third.
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah.
Holmesy: and then just yeah fade it out which was interesting just on that then harmy um from damo so if you're If we're adding... if we're talking about the forward option, option sorry. so Rank Sparrow, Chad, Hall, Marshall and JHF as trading options.
Jon Harmey: Okay, I'll just go through them because... Yeah, there's some names I like there. like i actually With NAS going down... ah does Does it mean that Hall has a more prominent role? God, he's actually been...
Jon Harmey: Awesome last couple of months too, isn't he?
Dosby Lee-Steere: My other trade in this week, homie.
Jon Harmey: Yeah, well, it is for me as well at the moment, DOSPI. so Sp - Sorry. I was just trying to find those names you ruled off, mate. Can you just go a bit slower?
Holmesy: they're on the They're on the show doc, mate, under demo.
Jon Harmey: nice
Holmesy: So Sparrow. Warner. whole Marshall and JHF.
Dosby Lee-Steere: You're not trading in into Horn Francis with the injury cloud, surely.
Jon Harmey: Nah, we're not doing horny. And...
Holmesy: Yeah, so horny last.
Jon Harmey: Well, although even though Warner has averaged 100 in his last three games...
Holmesy: Yep.
Jon Harmey: are ah still I'm a bit skeptical. ah um
Holmesy: 107 since round...
Dosby Lee-Steere: Jeepers.
Holmesy: 107 since round 11, Harmie.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Mate, he's probably going to have 30 -5 on the Bombers.
Jon Harmey: Oh wow. The informed coach of the podcast has spoken, guys.
Dosby Lee-Steere: but
Jon Harmey: so Um...
Dosby Lee-Steere: Jaime's got too much faith in the bombers, I reckon. He's like, nah, they'll put up a fight this week, boys.
Jon Harmey: Mate, that's every week I say this and then most weeks I don't. but A bit like you watching The the Weeks.
Dosby Lee-Steere: All right. The devils will be there soon, mate. Don't worry.
Jon Harmey: Oh, yeah, well, Ken, the saviour... the Messiah um best coach in the country. Louis has been saying this for years and it's finally clicked for me. I'm definitely on board.
Jon Harmey: Um... Here? Oh hold on. Sparrow? Chad Hall. Marshall GHF. Right off, JHF.
Jon Harmey: I think that TDK is likely to miss. So Marshall's got to be up the... Top end, I'm going to say Marshall, Sparrow, Hall, Chad.
Jon Harmey: in fourth position, and then JHF. There you go, OMSI.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Hey. Peace.
Jon Harmey: Correct me please, Buzz.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah, I still, you know what? You can say all you want about how good Sparrow's been. I still can't bring him into my side. He'd be last for me still. I can't go there.
Dosby Lee-Steere: um i think he's good I think he's good, but I think he's just, you know. you're you're with me lou i don't know it's something about on paper i just can't get around it um
JORDAN DSENA: Yeah.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Up and down a bit.
Lew: You're not picking him over Warner, not with those last two weeks.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Look. i' he's a it's like two pla he's up against bombers like yeah nah so for me it's uh I mean, we've spent ages on this question, but I'd be battling with Chad and Hall, number one. And if Marshall... um If Marshall. is solo ruck then yeah he'd be he'd be close second but chad number one hall and Marshall Tide too.
Jon Harmey: Just a final point. I just want to say Melbourne have got Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs for the last two games. So, you know. ah I currently, in my team, have Cozzy Pickett and Maxwell coming in, but that'll probably change. You know, I do like that Melbourne couple games there.
Holmesy: Fair enough. Last question for you, Dossi. and Not quite a Stato stamp of approval, but a bit of an old school comparison trade here. So for Joe Collins, is it Hill and Blakely?
Holmesy: Play key. I'm. Connor Blakely from Freo back in the day, probably not him.
JORDAN DSENA: I probably wrote it wrong.
Holmesy: Ah. and Or is it Sparrow and Whitfield?
Dosby Lee-Steere: Yeah. Any combo with Hill, I think, is the right one. And Geordie before mentioned why Blakey's a good pick and could pick it up against Essendon. So, yeah, Hill and Blakey for me.
Holmesy: Great. with that all right dusty boy uh you were you gave the intro we never know when we're gonna hear those golden tonsils of yours live with us again so why don't you give us a bit of ah a bit of a sign out
Dosby Lee-Steere: Thanks, everyone, for listening. Make sure you jump into the finals league, the Supercoach finals league with the PodPod boys. I'll make sure they sign up. The code is 890301. If you want to do heel.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Continue to hear the golden tonsils. Head over to the Supercoach official podcast during the year, all through the year, and through the finals as well this year. Thanks very much for having me, lads. You're doing a great job on the pod pod and I'll be charging home, you know, with my scores. If I keep them going in the top 10 every week, I might force my way into a hat from 10K. So let's go enjoy the run home and Holmesy hit that outro.
Holmesy: Very good to have you back on board, Dossie. You're welcome anytime and hopefully you keep flying up the ranks. To everyone else, have a good week and we'll be back to review the week next. Wait. Bye.
Dosby Lee-Steere: Leave the outro to me, Hamzy.
